their stories were absolutely wild ones but they were still able to make it through the apocalypse

#kagarts #world of horror #tw eyestrain #tw scopophobia #I picked haru as my first guy to play #he’s got a cigarette addiction and nearly got choked to death by a spirit phone #but then he beat it with a shovel and made it through #second is aiko and it was my ‘oh god’ run bc I nearly died multiple times throughout #accidentally wore a mask and it removed her face #one girl one knife against a guy who was trying to make mermaids with fish tails and human torsos #got his axe though and the rest of the run was a fight for my life #overall a pretty fun roguelite but I think hades took over around that time so that interest shifted greatly

My oldest followers, you all remember how I come up with the wildest theories for Amphibia (especially my corruptianne and anastasia theory era.)

Well, here I am. Wondering what the heck did did I eat when I come up with them and I finally have the answer.

Ladies and gentlemen, behold; The Lore of My Childhood.

Pretty Rhythm: Ice skating Idol anime, in s2 the s1 mc got possessed by the clothes she's wearing and it dragged her soul to hell.

Shugo Chara: Magical Egg anime, Mc's youngest oc went evil the moment they were born and that oc decided to live with the edgiest idol in existence.

Danball Senki: Toy Robot anime, in s2 the s1 mc's friends got kidnapped by his dad and he teamed up with a gamer/power ranger cosplayer and a martial arts fighter to save them and they ended up having to protect the world from a capitalist company and the cosplayer's brother. Said cosplayer got his brain damaged and became a villain in the novels.

Idaten Jump: Bike anime, three idiots got isekaid with their bikes and they found out that the mc's dad is the missing king of the world they're in right now.

Mermaid Melody: Mermaid anime, A penguin and an octopus have a wholesome enemies to lovers relationship and tries to hide it from their friends romeo and juliet style.

Tamagotchi: Yes this game has an anime, a 12 year old alien accidentally kidnapped a human child and almost end the world cause he made god think that he's going to take a break.

I swear, I'm not messing with you all. All of this actually happened in canon.

The Mermaid in the Hospital - Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill - Ireland

She awoke

to find her fishtail

clean gone

but in the bed with her

were two long, cold thingammies.

You'd have thought they were tangles of kelp

or collops of ham.

"They're no doubt

taking the piss,

it being New Year's Eve.

Half the staff legless

with drink

and the other half

playing pranks.

Still, this is taking it

a bit far."

And with that she hurled

the two thingammies out of the room.

But here's the thing

she still doesn't get—

why she tumbled out after them

arse-over-tip...

How she was connected

to those two thingammies

and how they were connected

to her.

It was the sister who gave her the wink

and let her know what was what.

"You have one leg attached to you there

and another one underneath that.

One leg, two legs...

A-one and a-two...

Now you have to learn

what they can do."

In the long months

that followed,

I wonder if her heart fell

the way her arches fell,

her instep arches.

I try my best to keep things positive on here, but the hate comments for TLM '23 are ridiculous lol

#i saw one comment that said it's less believable that eric mistook vanessa for ariel bc of their different skin tones ???#like...he's not SUPPOSED to mistake vanessa for ariel - he just becomes bewitched by her what do their appearances have to do with this #ppl are also making assumptions about halle's supposedly ill intentions when she auditioned #ie. saying she knew she was bad at acting and was only in it for the money and exposure #you can have an opinion on her acting and her singing #but i loathe when ppl say these things as if it's fact - where is your evidence? did she say these things directly to you?#same thing goes for her singing specifically - “she might be good at singing but there's also audio engineering so who knows” i--#her live singing is the same if not better #if you don't like her version of part of your world i get it #but where are your sources for her voice being edited? you know how professors make you cite your sources? yeah there's a reason for it #so you don't go around making baseless accusations #of course you can criticize the film #but at least try to support your answers with something solid #i've been reading respectful critiques but they're critiques where i can go oh yes i see why you would think that #would i necessarily agree with them? not always BUT i'll say great analysis #also the whole thing about the sisters' races being different is so funny to me bc this is a movie about MERMAIDS #tlm sits under the fantasy genre #fantasy genre = unnatural settings or beings + elements and situations that do not occur in the real world #the little mermaid #the little mermaid 2023 #rant

Thinking about my villainous f/os...I wouldn't exactly say I "redeem" any of em, except kinda Zeena? It's more so the case I don't like the idea that special guy Me comes in and is just so amazing and perfect, it leads to someone changing their alignment. I get this is literal self insertion and strictly for fun, but I'm also a writer, and I enjoy consistency!

For Zeena, it's less like my sona "redeems" her, and more her feelings grow genuine. Plus—should I ever feel so inclined to rewrite aspects of the Deadly Six or Sonic Lost World—she was never really "evil". She was more following Zavok's lead, and Zavok is territorial; he didn't like Eggman or Sonic, but especially not Eggman coming into the Lost Hex and bossing em all around. Without Zavok, I feel most of the Six could be pretty chill. Save for like, Zazz, but that's his thing.

What lore I have with Sombra rn is similar-ish. She doesn't stop being evil, she just stops working for Talon. Doesn't stop her from hacking and messing with people even when expecting a baby, she's just not actively being a mercenary. Or whatever it is she is with Talon. I need to review Overwatch lore lol. There's also the fact my sona with her works for Talon, so we're both evil here, and such I could not redeem her. (Tho, have considered making my sona for her heroic...then she's corrupt me tee hee >:] )

Ursula is prolly the one case where I do have an intervention with her, somewhat. Working out the deets, but main idea is that I convince her that she's already got a good thing going on, that she's already royal worthy as is. If anything, going for the Triton's triton is thinking too small—we can think BIGGER! So I guess it's less convincing her to NOT be evil, and to be evil in a different direction. Really depends if my self ship starts up before or after the events of the first film.

Odessa is really the one case where we just continue being evil. Granted, it amounts to basically just stealing from museums and rich dudes so, is it really THAT bad? Hm? Helps that, from her brief spotlight in MG&DD, she's shown to be a rather respectful individual even if she does sell hero gear on the black market. She's a villain, but she had a code of honor!

...hm? Perona? No, she isn't evil! Sure, she ran into conflict with the Straw Hats, but what does that mean? Kidd allied with Luffy for Onigashima, does that make him not evil? (Apologies to Kidd enjoyers, though not really lol he sucks). She's a pirate just like all the rest of em, so she's gonna be a lil rough on the edges! Makes her fun :]

Also, wouldn't consider any of the Dangan-wives evil. Even tho Celeste and Kirumi were murderers...you have to understand, it was life or death there. Outside of the game (which is when my self ships happen), I think they'd be able to have calm, chill lives. They deserve it.
