A wild idea. Hear me out.

What if Liliana has a crush on Corazon?

I say this because I was thinking about Oxventure things and I realized if I was Liliana, I would have ransacked Necropolis on Sea for all the valuables and then burn it down to the ground. Deny my mortal enemies/consistent nuisances a safe home and harbor.

But she didn't do that.

She's taken up residence and has been having Bismuth tailoring Corazon's clothes to fit her. Which, I know it's probably just a bit. But I can imagine her developing a begrudging crush on him. Like, she wants to kill him but she does want to kiss him. Just full tsundere when it comes to Corazon.

Because he's a dashing pirate who is pretty simple to understand (for the most part).

The chaos it would cause would be glorious. The simultaneously ego boost and terror from Corazon. The potential heartbreak and jealously from Dob. The confusion from Egbert and Merilwen. Prudence (and probably Merilwen) trying to use this to their advantage.

Just imagine it.

Been watching classic monsters movies and I can't stop thinking about the Oxventure crew dressing up as old school monsters for Halloween.

Corazon 100% dresses as a vampire only to have Prudence one up him as a vampire queen. Dob goes full Frankenstein. Merilwen, maybe some kind of werebear/werewolf or as a kraken but with fake paper mache tentacles that Dob puts together for her. Egbert would go as a ghost because "We're dressing up as fake monsters, right?" And it's just a bedsheet over his head.

Dine Hard has given us shipping fodder for Egbert ships, specifically Egbert/Merilwen and Egbert/Corazón (both of which were never thought of prior). Plus they’ve canonically talked about PolyOxventurers in Fools of Engagement so, they’re giving everyone that shipping fodder to work with

For me, it’s about setting the tone in a session zero to determine what people want from their experience. When you do that and let people know your plan and ask how they feel about it you’ll likely end up with something that makes everyone happy.

For funny start that stays funny, just look at the Oxventurer’s games. Outside Xbox and Outaidr Xtra on YouTube are often making funny list videos and games journalist reviews and commentary. Add to that one Enby journalist/reviewer/fun person in the form of Johnny Chiodini and you have an experienced DM with new players who all know how to keep it light while still allowing their characters to develop.

Sorry I didn’t mean for this to turn into another Oxventure promotion, I just love those funky little guys and their funky little group.
