Child of The Galaxy - Fairy Tail x Fem!Child!Reader - Chapter 6.5 - Grimoire Heart - Tenrou Island Arc

S-Class Wizard Trials

Previously on Fairy Tail...

"You fools don't stand a chance. Our main fighting force is right on our heels. Wizards whose power far exceeds my own. They are known as the 7 Kin of Purgatory." The goon laughed as you glared.

"Grimoire Heart..."

"The 7 Kin are coming?" Juvia realised as Erza requipped.

"We must put the trial on hold. Right now, prepare for battle! Condition red, we shall intercept them at once!" Erza declared as everyone spotted the red flare in the sky.

Enemy attack.

"You there! Speak! Tell me why you've come to this place!" Erza ordered the Grimoire Heart goon that was sat on the ground.

"Revealing that will do me no good at all." The goon refused, as you rolled your eyes.

"She's not giving you a choice, dude." You pointed out as Erza got mad.

One hit on the head later...

"We seek him. The legendary Black Wizard known as Zeref. He is here on this very island."

"You fool, Zeref is long since dead-"

"Erza... there's a wizard who walks the island, and death follows him. There's no way it could be anyone else." You pointed out, but you went unheard as the goon claimed that Zeref had been sleeping for 400 years.

"Master Hades and the Seven Kin of Purgatory will be arriving on these shores very soon, and it would be wise of you to not take them lightly. The Time Wizard, Ultear. Rusty Rose. My superior, Caprico. Kain Hikaru. Zancrow. Meredy. And, there's one more member I haven't mentioned, who's already here!" The goon laughed, as Erza and Juvia stared in shock.

"There's one here now?" Erza repeated, as you tilted your head to the side, feeling the spatial energies around the island.

"We have to go! Everyone is in danger!"

"You can sense them, can't you?"

"So much destruction... the Seven Kin are already here, and the Master is destroying their ship!" You explained as you struggled to keep up with Juvia and Erza as they broke out into a sprint.

"How did they overrun us so quickly?" Erza asked aloud as she held a sword up to the incoming Grimoire Heart goons.

"Not sure, and I'm afraid more are coming and quickly-"

"They were dropped as orbs by an overhead flier... they're all over the island. The 7 Kin are here too..." You stated, creating an orb of spatial energies to throw at the goons, fighting alongside Juvia and Erza, much to the disagreement of both of them.

"Who goes there?" Erza yelled as she stopped running, sensing someone approaching. Juvia and yourself also stopped, turning to spot the pink-haired child.

"I have encountered the enemy while on the mission. I will destroy them immediately. Ending their lives is now my highest priority. Commencing combat operations."

"Y/n. Portal away." Erza ordered you, watching the pink haired child, a member of Grimoire Heart.

"Portal away where? Every Fairy Tail Wizard is fighting one of the 7 Kin right now!"

"Y/n!" Juvia warned, not looking at you until she spotted the portal from the corner of her eye, and you jumping through it.

Your feet touched the grass gently as you looked up, spotting the explosion of brilliant orange flames and dark grey flames to one side, then one of Mira's Evil Explosions on the other side a little while after.

Your eyes widened at the next explosion, blood running cold until you didn't feel it. The lack of spatial energy, death. Nobody was dead. But your guild was struggling, and they didn't want you to fight.

A frown crossed your face as you continued to walk, stumbling across damage caused by some sort of battle.

"Y/n! You're okay!" Wendy called over to you, waving you over as you appeared.

"Erza and Juvia sent me away, but I can feel everyone fighting. Gramps! You're injured..."

"You can sense everyone fighting, child? Your powers have grown, even now." Makarov croakily remarked from where he laid on the ground, bandaged and unmoving.

"I take it you portalled nearby after Erza and Juvia sent you away?" Lily enquired as you sat down next to Makarov and Carla.

"Mira and Lisanna are hurt, so are Elfman and Evergreen, Gajeel and Levy too. I saw Natsu's fire with some weird dark fire was closer though..." You explained, shrugging as you wrapped your arms around your knees, closing your eyes to focus.

"Erza and Juvia are fighting a pink haired girl as we speak. They sent me away as she appeared." You added as Carla deadpanned.

"You couldn't get a name before portalling, I take it?"

"It's not like they throw their names out with a 'how are ya!' before trying to beat us to a pulp!"

"Wow, a flaming Lucy just took out one of the Kin!" You exclaimed as Carla, Wendy and Lily all sweatdropped, even Makarov looked alarmed.

"Just how exactly was she on fire?"

"If I was placing bets, my money would be on Natsu." Carla answered Lily's question as Wendy suggested making a portal to work like a window and let everyone watch.

"I could, but if someone saw, they could attack us through it. I need to learn how to add restrictions to my portals next." You concluded, thinking about the concept as Wendy sweatdropped at how intense you were over your magic.

"Wendy!" Natsu called as he, Lucy and Happy ran over.

"You made it back! Did you find anything?" Wendy asked as everyone spotted the returning wizards.

"Is master doing any better?" Lucy asked as the three drew to a halt.

"I can't say that his condition has improved."

You zoned out as Mest, Doranbolt? Mest, returned on a 'rescue mission', with Mest revealing how if the Magic Council found out about the chaos, the Etherion Canon would be fired.

"The sky. It looks like there's a storm coming." Wendy pointed out as you both glanced up at the greying clouds, hearing the crackles of thunder.

"In more ways than one. Somebody made Juvia angry." You realised, staring up at the sky.

"Tell me why you are going after Juvia!" Erza demanded to Meredy.

"Number 13 is worthless trash. So I want to get her out of the way. Then I will end the one you sent away, the so-called Child of the Galaxy... her priority is the lowest, because even her guild deems her unable to put up a fight." Meredy stated, summoning her swords of sensation again.

"Number 3 is Gildarts, but it appears he is no longer on the island. Number 2 is Makarov, but Master Hades has already defeated him."

"Master Makarov is number 2? You mean to tell me there's a higher priority target than the Master of our guild!" Erza exclaimed as Meredy had a dark look on her face.

"Number 1 is that man. Gray Fullbuster."

"Why him? Why choose Gray?" Erza shouted as Meredy began to focus her power.

"Because, he has her blood on his hands. Ultear's mother died because of him. That man, can never be forgiven for the pain he caused Ultear! When I find him, I'll tear him limb from limb!" Meredy screamed, sending her swords of sensation flying at Erza.

The sky went dark as thunder crackled, rain pouring down over Tenrou Island.

"Now you've done it, if you dare carry out that threat, I swear to you, you will never live to speak of it." Juvia's face was dark as one eye glowed red, rage overtaking her at the threat of Gray being harmed.

"Yeah... that pink haired girl threatened Gray in front of Juvia." You concluded as Wendy sweatdropped.

"This rain just doesn't wanna to let up..." Lucy remarked as you huffed.

"It was Juvia's magic that started it, but now I think it's actually raining..."

"It's nice to be dry, but I can't help but I feel kinda helpless." Wendy admitted as she got changed.

You frowned as Carla revealed that Lily had stayed at the base camp, since Gajeel and Mira were badly hurt, whilst also revealing that they'd spotted Grimoire Heart's ship on the east coast of the island.

You agreed when everyone decided to head to the base camp, whilst Mest tried to keep the Magic Council at bay from firing Etherion.

"We've got company!" Natsu announced as you all sensed the magical power from the approaching wizard.

Bluenote Stinger.

"Who are you? One of the kin?" Natsu shouted, but he gained no answers.

"Tell me. Have you learned to fly? No? Pity... Then you'll fall." The wizard smirked, stopping the rain from falling over him before it crashed down again.

Everyone screamed as the ground under you all began to move, the force crushing you all into it, even you were powerless with your gravity magic.

"You know, personally, neither the Fairy Tail Guild, nor our plans for Zeref mean much of anything to me. But there is one thing I've been longing to do on this island. Where is the grave of Mavis Vermillion? I wish to pay my respects to Fairy Tail's first master." Bluenote demanded.

"What do you want? Tell me!"

I want the sparkle of fairies. Fairy Glitter. One of your Guild's three grand spells. Just as powerful, if not more so, than Fairy Law itself." Bluenote announced, as Natsu glared.

"Is glitter all you want? Then try hitting up a crafts store-UGH!" Natsu growled as Bluenote shoved him further into the ground.

"NATSU!"

"He's using gravity magic. I didn't know it could be used like this..." You admitted into the stones around you, as Natsu tried to fight Bluenote himself, unable to get a single hit in on him.

A groan left your lips as Bluenote held everyone down with his magic, even Cana who had arrived with Fairy Glitter at her disposal.

"I guess even his strength can't stand up to this level of gravity..." Carla admitted as Natsu's head was buried in the stones.

"Gravity..." You whispered as Natsu Fire Dragon Roar-ed the ground into an explosion.

"GO!" Natsu shouted as Bluenote sent everyone but Cana flying.

"Assemble, O river of light that's guided by fairies! May your radiance shine, and vanquish the fangs of wickedness! Go, Fairy Glitter!" Cana shouted, the bright light cutting through the rain clouds as the attack took place.

Everyone's eyes widened as Gildarts' appeared from one of your portals, Carla's gaze falling to you as you blacked out. Your forceful use of portalling a person instead of a location overwhelming you.

Your unconscious body was carried away from the battle between Bluenote and Gildarts and towards the base camp.

As Bickslow and Freed returned and helped fight Rusty Rose.

"We saw the red flare and came back with Gildarts."

"He went through one of those portals young Y/n utilises." Freed added to Bickslow's explanation before the fight began.

You were barely conscious as the Tenrou tree fell, slipping unconscious again as your magic power was drained, along with everyone else who bears the Fairy Tail emblem.

When the magic returned, Natsu was carrying Makarov, Lucy was supporting Cana, and Wendy was supporting you as you lingered between conscious and unconscious.

A groan left your lips as Wendy propped you up against the rocks, allowing herself to try heal the others, until she was warned against it.

"Even Y/n's injured?"

"After using her portals to summon Gildarts, I can understand why. Y/n needs to be taught combat in battle, after all of this that is." Levy admitted as she crouched down next to you.

A laugh left your lips as you heard Happy mention how Ultear had kicked Natsu's butt without breaking a sweat, before talking about how Zalty was Ultear, or was Ultear Zalty?

Your head tilted to the side as you watched Virgo began to dig pitfall traps around the camp.

A smile crossed your face as lightning struck, Gray had defeated Ultear in battle. You knew what the thunder and lightning could suggest, as you glanced up at the sky, sensing his approach.

Laxus was on his way.

///

"Let's go- way to take all the fun out of it, Y/n!" Natsu exclaimed as you opened a portal to the east shore.

"What? My power's back too." You deadpanned, quirking a brow as Natsu huffed and headed through the portal with Lucy, Wendy and the exceeds.

"Y/n, wait!" Levy exclaimed, but the portal had closed as you snuck onto the east shore too.

I really enjoy your posts about the next gen and I was wondering if you plan on adding more ships? Maybe Bickslow x Lisanna, Freed x Cana, Lyon x Meredy, Hibiki x Jenny 😳

Bixlow x Lisana is already a thing in my fics. They just waited longer to have kids than the other ships because they both wanted to make S-Class before having babies. (Also representation for couples who wait until later in life to start a family). At the time of this post they have one son, Vance. I don’t post much about him yet though because he’s still a baby.

I always had a head cannon of Cana being too free spirited to marry and have children, so she is sort of like the cool auntie to the kids.

I could see Freed getting married, but he doesn’t strike me as the type to have children. Just my opinion, no shade to fic writers and readers who like Daddy Freed, I just don’t see it personally.

As the Birthday Gang gets older (because they’re the MC’s of my fics) and go on more jobs they’ll start mingling more with children outside of Magnolia, thus meeting Hibiki x Jenny babies.

Meredy X Lyon I honestly haven’t given much thought on because I’m kinda neutral on the ship. Don’t love it, don’t hate it, just kinda meh for me. But I don’t have anyone else to ship either of them with so maybe we’ll see their babies when the BG gets older...

For other ships, in “Obsessed” it’s confirmed that Sting x Yukon’s have a daughter named Kari, and Rogue x Minerva have a son named Sacchi. Ren x Sherry also have a son, but I haven’t picked a name for him yet.

Ultear x natsu x erza. 1, 3, 12, 13, 25, 26, 27 (ignore the last part question as its irrelevant) 32, 38, 39, 40. xD. Im sorry. I didnt know if i had a limit you dont have to do all of them xD I literally just jotted down numbers xD Much love, Darky ❤️ xD

1. - How do they fall asleep? Wake up? Any daily rituals?

Well, goingwith an offshoot of my AU (Fervent Crimson Flame), Natsu’s a Wizard Saint, andso he’s a part of the new Magic Council. Ultear’s his assistant because Natsuknows nothin’ about politics, and he’d probably get Ishgar into war with thewhole world if left up to him. Mercifully, the new Magic Council doesn’t meetup as often (or, you know, meet up with every member, Natsu included, inattendance). Erza’s the successor to Makarov, so she can’t really “do” anythingabout official Council business thatUltear pulls Natsu away for.

… The moresuspicious stuff – stuff she doesn’t hear about via frog-man messenger – shekeeps the two detained until she gets more concrete confirmation about Councilactivities. Wouldn’t do to let Ultear spend toomuch time with her dragon…

With allthe duties piled on them, they rarely get a relaxing day at home. … At leastwith all three of them together. Sometimes, Erza gets to stay home with Natsu.Sometimes, Ultear gets to stay home with Natsu… And sometimes, Natsu just goesout to fish, because that’s way too much time spent in… bed… XD

There is alot of snuggling involved with bedtime, of course. They needed to get a bed bigenough for the three of them because Erza doesn’t trust Ultear to share Natsuwith separate beds, and Ultear thinks her jealousy and suspicion are justadorable~ Plus, more often than not, Natsu’s head will find its way to betweenher breasts when they sleep, and waking up to that is always amusing,especially when Scarlet sees it happen more than once. And the redhead istightly wrapped around the Dragon Slayer, so it’s amazing how his head keepswinding up between those soft, firm “pillows”. n___n

3.- Are they open about their relationship? How do they feelabout public displays of affection?

By the timeUltear started gaining traction, worming her way into Natsu’s heart, Erza wasin a relationship with Natsu and was pretty open about it. She didn’t like thedevelopment of Ultear becoming Natsu’s girlfriend as well, and there was alengthy rocky period of time for the three because of it. Hell, it’s still noteasy for Erza to accept she’s part of a harem with Natsu… But she’s gottenbetter at… handling it. She wouldn’t give up Natsu for the world.

On Ultear’send, she’s pretty surprised she made it this far with Natsu. She really wasn’texpecting anything. She knew Natsuand Erza were close, knew that since her time on the Magic Council. She was justhaving fun with her teasing, lustful ways, but somehow, the Dragon Slayer hadmelted the ice around her heart, and to her surprise, she’d come to besignificant to the pyro as well. Because she wasn’t expecting to get this farwith Natsu, though, Ultear is more open about a polygamous relationship thanErza is.

On Natsu’send, he just wants both the girls happy. Doesn’t want to hurt either one –especially not Erza. Though the thing is, he doesn’t pay attention to the factthat they’re watching for his happiness, too.

Ultearlikes making her affection public. Natsu will be caught off-guard half the timebecause she flaunts it about so much, but he returns it easily enough. Erza ismore reserved, but is not above looping arms together, hand-holding, and theoccasional public kiss. Natsu, with his free spirit nature, is a bit closer toUltear in personality when he wants to show affection; basically, he has norespect for decorum. “Screw the rules!” n_____n

12. - Is there a wedding? What was the proposal like? Anykind of honeymoon?

With Erzain the mix, yeeeah, there’s a wedding. She might not like to share it withUltear, but there is that desperation to be married~. Ultear kind of forces itwhen she helps Natsu throw together the proposal, taking place at Akane Resortwhile Erza’s enjoying strawberry cheesecake… The wedding is formal and held atKardia Cathedral, with everyone from Fairy Tail and the guilds they’ve alliedwith (Mermaid Heel, etc.). … Also, Kagura is Maid of Honor, and Gray is BestMan (mostly Ultear’s choice). The honeymoon is more harmonious, since there’smore of a willingness to… “share” – even if it’s grudging, on Erza’s end.Ultear’s simply more mature. They have a relatively… isolated time, as Ulteartook them to her old home in Isvan. To properly appreciate her new hubby, y’know?Weather’s cold outside, but hubby keeps her warm and tingling all the way downto her toes~

13. - What do they do for fun? Do they have a favoriteactivity or do they like to switch things up?

Ultearlikes to taunt Erza by being openly affectionate with their dragon~. Beyondthat, this is a fairly unique OT3, with their similar and clashing personalitytraits. Sometimes they’ll go to a jazz club, sometimes they’ll go see a theaterplay, sometimes they’ll spar (well, Natsu and Erza will), sometimes they’llfish… sometimes they’ll cook (Erza’s not allowed in the kitchen), sometimesthey’ll just spend time in the guild… And sometimes, they just spend the day in…bed. XD

25. - How much time do they spend together? Do they sharetheir feelings, or hold things in?

They spenda lot of time together – whether it’s just two of them or all three. Erza andNatsu are ready and perfectly willing to share feelings with one another,though Ultear is more reserved than them, and it takes some work for her to comeforward every now and then. Only when she has to, and it’s usually with Natsu…of course.

26. - How do their friends feel about their relationship?Their families?

Meredy’sjealous. Jellal… tries to keep happy for them. Gray is… a little pissed forvarying reasons; most have to do with Ultear, and the fact that if Natsumarries her, they’ll be related. Kagura’s a little miffed as well, because toher, it’s as if Natsu’s saying Erza “isn’t enough”. Takes everyone a littletime to adjust to it, but thanks to the fact the dynamic between the threeremains largely unchanged, it’s a fairly easy adjustment period.

27. - Do they have kids? Grow old together? Split up?

Erza andUltear have at least one kid with Natsu each; Erza being the more competitiveof the two, she might have a second child, or a third if they’re twins. ForUltear, she’s just happy she can bear Natsu’s child and give him or her a childhoodshe herself never had the opportunity to have. It’s similar for Erza and herchildren, and Natsu wants to make sure all of his children never lose theirdad. And definitely not lose him like he had lost Igneel. (ignored the lastpart of the question, as requested; for anyone curious, I think it’s fairlyobvious that these three stick together. XD)

32.- Do they ever get into trouble? Is it serious, or arethey just mischievous?

Natsu andUltear are obviously the more mischievous of the two. Their troublemaking islargely smalltime, but sometimes, Natsu causes enough trouble that it affectsErza’s duties and reputation as Guild Master, so there’s definitely some “Punishment”that gets dished out occasionally. It’s just how it’s always been, though. Evenwith how rowdy he is, Erza can still rein in her dragon. n___n

38. - What are they like in the bedroom? Anykinks/fetishes/turn-ons? Anything they won’t do?

Passionate.Things get heated pretty quickly, though Ultear is pretty firm in not lettingNatsu (or Erza) yank her hair or do anything super wild with her. She’ll allow Natsu’s instincts to take over andravage her body, but only after working him up first. In other words, she hasthis tendency to dominate at first and get him worked up, then she lets him have his hungry, lustful way with her nubile body,and makes damn sure he hits all the g-spots. n___n

For Erzaand Natsu’s part, it’s not always about the lust, or even the lovemaking. Withthe two of them, they will do anything and everythingtogether, simply because they have this “need” for their bodies to bejoined together. Only when joined do they feel “whole”, and everything they dojust feels… right. Even whensomething Natsu does hurts at first, and Erza digs her nails into his skin, thepain eventually melts away, and she’s bouncing on him, hugging him for all she’sworth, and nibbling at his skin, leaving marks of her own. Natsu certainly hasno qualms leaving marks in inappropriate places on her that will beuncomfortable to answer later, when Gray or someone asks. XD

A lot ofthe time, they’ll just take turns. Erza soon grows weary of Ultear “double-teaming”her, and it’s not like watching Natsu ravage Ultear is a bad thing… Okay, so she gets a little worked up when she sees thedazed expressions on Ultear’s face, and gets extra demanding when she renewsher carnal acts with Natsu, but that’s still a pretty good boon, yeah? Makesthem appreciate each other more~… A little jealousy goes a long way~.

39. - Who initiated the relationship? Who kissed whofirst? When did they realize they werein love?

As statedpreviously, Natsu and Erza were already in a relationship by the time Ultearstarted becoming part of the group. You wanna be technical, Ultear “did” peckNatsu on the cheek before Natsu and Erza were in a relationship, but that wasjust to set Scarlet off, and nothing was really meant. … Not ‘til later,anyway~. In this AU, Ultear and Meredy join Fairy Tail, and Zeref held offAcnologia on Tenrou, so there was no “seven year timeskip”, per se. Not atimeskip that the characters experienced; the readers still did, but nocharacters were “behind” any of the others. It was in the seven years beforethe GMG in X791 that Ultear started to become a part of the harem, and itlargely happened because Natsu had been so supportive in giving her a chance toturn her life around. Natsu was already aware that Ultear meant something tohim; he just didn’t think she reciprocated. Again, Erza wasn’t happy in makingit a harem, but the rough patch between them eventually ended, or at leastsmoothed out a bit.

40. - Any special memories? Do they have a special placethey like to go to?

Erza willalways be thankful for what Natsu did for her at the Tower of Heaven, and allthe times he saved Fairy Tail and their allies. Similarly, Natsu cherishes allthe times that Erza smiles – and especially the times when Ultear genuinely smiles (not mischievous orforced). For Ultear, there was Tenrou Island, when Natsu (and Gray) helped showthe error of her ways; and then there was during the dragon invasion, when she’dbeen about to cast Lost Ages, and Natsu stopped her. Ultear still can’t getover how much Natsu cares for her.

Specialplaces, they like to be out in the woods near Natsu’s home when they can.Ultear likes to bring them to Isvan, and Erza likes to revisit Akane Resort.
