Mermay: wilford goes on a fishing trip because he needs a vacation, somewhere where its just him and cabin and a lake

Man is sitting at the edge of an old wooden pier, fishing pole in hand and classic wicker fish basket next to him, sun is just nearly starting to crest the trees.

He’s trying to catch a few fish for an early lunch. He feels a bite and reels in a decent sized fish but smaller than he’d prefer so he sets it in the basket and goes back to fishing, there’s a splash, he looks over and the fish is gone

This repeats a few times until he spies a webbed clawed hand reach up and steal his fishes,

Under the dock a mer jj is silently enjoying an easy meal unaware of the love struck wilford watching him from above

That is adorable!

“Can’t catch-!” Anti’s taunt got cut off from Mare and Phantom pulling him back under the water. “No fair!” He laughed when the three popped back up. “It’s two against one!” 

“Can never beat twins~” Phantom giggled. 

“We are always good at what we do~” Mare joined in. 

“I’ll prove you wrong!” Anti tail flicked up, and he dove into the water and swam after the two, all laughing and giggling together. 

“I know that look.” Wilford hummed, seeing how Dark looked down at the Sirens. “Anti’s in for a time.” He sang as he headed off to where JJ was waiting for him. 

“Anti,” Dark called down. “Come up here.” 

“Human calls.” Anti chuckled and went to the anchor’s chain. 

Dark glared down at Mare and Phantom, unaware that similar-ish looks were on Anti from others as well. He knew it was just a Siren game the three were playing, he’s watched Anti do the same with his brothers, but something about it being Mare and Phantom just made him want to take his mate back to his quarters and remind him that he was his mate for a reason. 

And that was what he planned on doing. 

“Yes?” Anti asked, sitting on the edge of the ship. 

“Make legs and follow me.” Dark ordered and started walking off. 

“Oh~?” Anti loved that tone Dark used and happily did as he was told. He waited until he was in Dark’s room and closed the door behind him. “Was someone jealous?” Anti leaned back against the door and had the biggest grin as Dark stood right in front of him, faces inches apart. 

“You are mine.” Dark’s already deep voice got even deeper with that last word, and Anti could feel himself forming what the Sirens called ‘slick’ between his legs. 

“Then show me~” Anti flashed his sharp teeth and used the thumb of one hand to remove his cloth covering. “Remind me who I belong to~,” 

“Gladly.” Dark grabbed Anti and carried him to the bed, plopping him in the middle. He made quick work of his clothing before he was on the bed and kissing along Anti’s neck, hearing and feeling him shiver from that. 

“You really know how to get a Siren going~” Anti rocked his hips toward Dark. 

“And going and going and going.” Dark softly chuckled, nipping at Anti’s shoulder as he reached a hand between his legs, teasing a finger against him and feeling the wetness leaking out. 

“Don’t tease me,” Anti whined.

“I have to make sure I take my sweet time slowly breaking you piece by piece.” Dark went straight to pushing two fingers in. Siren's anatomy was still a mystery to him, but he’s learned some fun tricks after all this time, and it only took a few adjustments, and then he found the Siren sweet spot. There was a proper term and description of what was being pressed inside them, but it was easier to just go with that since it always made the Sirens feel so good.

“Oh fuck~!” Anti cried out, back arching. “Again, again! Please, Dark, please!” It was also a perfect spot to get Sirens begging. 

“Of course.” Dark hummed, and he continued to kiss, suck and nip along Anti’s neck, fingers working over that spot and not shocked as he felt some claws trying their best not to sink into his back. 

“Yes, yes, yes~! By the full moon! Keep going!” Anti usually didn’t break like this so quickly, yet with the voice, the attitude, all of it…he just couldn’t help from melting already. 

“Good boy, my good boy.” Dark praised, getting in a third finger and fucking Anti with his hand. Siren moans were just as beautiful as their singing and nearly just as addicting to get as well.

“Shit, shit, shit.” Anti panted out his chants. “Dark, Dark, I’m gonna-I’m gonna-” There wasn’t much time before Anti was cumming, soaking Dark’s hand. 

“Now, that’s a record.” Dark lightly teased, taking his fingers away. “Something tells me you’ll be my brainless mess sooner than usual.” 

“Just fuck me already, or I’m going back to Mare and Phantom,” Anti said with a grin. 

“Over my dead body.” Dark’s tone dropped again, and he caught Anti in a kiss.

Personal Timeline Headcanon  PART A: 1910 - 1930s/1940s

Based off HCs I liked, Mark’s own “canon” (the stuff he likes to think how it works but is in no way saying it is canon because it was not in the video), my own HCs that I haven’t said, and the actual canon information from the WKM videos. 

Making up a fake family trees and events with a spattering of canon from this point onward.

THERE ARE TWO POSSIBLE PATHS

Timeline basis: 1920s - 1950s timelessness. 

Constants: 

William Ford, WKM!Mark Fischbach (who will be called Mark from this point on), and Damien & Celine Ark were born in 19XX. Celine is 9 months younger than Damien. 

Mark and William grew up together in The House. 

William is Mark’s cousin from the maternal side. 

They meet Damien (and Celine) at a young age. 

William joins the military as a young man.

Mark peruses a career in acting. 

Damien meets Y/N Yancy Nancy at University 

Mark and Celine date and eventually marry. 

William and Celine have an affaire and Mark’s marriage falls apart. Mark spirals down into a terrible depression that leads to the darkness of The House. 

Damien becomes mayor and Y/N is given the job of District Attorney. 

Poker Night

Celine not being an expected part of the group and Damien never being the one he wanted to possess. 

Dark and Wilford 

Path A: 1909 - 1930s-1940s

1910s: Birth - Pre-teen 

William Ford, Mark Fischbach, and Damien Ark are born in 1909. Celine born 1910 (nine months after Damien). 

In 1914, World War 1 begins. William’s father goes off to war and is killed two years later in battle; Will is only six when he experiences his first loss. The widowed Mrs. Ford beings her son to her sister’s place in hopes to having some help there in raising her son and dealing with the grief.

Mrs. Ford makes sure William knows of how great of a man and a solider his father was. She wants to make sure that her son knows that his father loved him and was brave. 

Mark and William are fast friends. They liked to explore the grounds together and pretend they are on safaris, or soldiers, or any game that really had to do with make-believe. 

They took these games to the primary school they attended. One such game led them to meeting Damien. They quickly became fast friends and were practically inseparable.

Through Damien they would meet Celine, who was a year under them, but she wasn’t interested in her brother’s friends so much as trying to meet her own friends. (While also constantly being around them when they came over...just to watch is all). 

Damien and Celine are the typical sister brother duo. They love to make fun of each other, constant teasing, but they do have a close bond that says that they care deeply for one another. 

Mark and William made it a mission to see how much they could get away with at school and at home. Damien was constantly trying to stop them or weasel them out of trouble. 

1920s: Preteen - Teenager 

The 1920s came around as they moved into teenagedom and high school (since they could afford such an education). This was a time of parties, girls, and all out craziness. 

William starts to realize he may have a crush on Celine but doesn’t want to admit it because it is weird to like your best friend’s sister. Mark is also realizing he likes he and also keeps it to himself. Damien is oblivious to this.

The Widowed Mrs. Ford meets a new man and marries him. Instead of leaving The House with his mother, Will stays with Mark’s family. He is very bitter about this new man replacing his father. 

Damien is a pretty popular guy at school, so is Mark, so the three of them are always hosting parties or going to parties. William isn’t as well liked but he goes where his friends go. 

Still they all kept of their grades rather well. They are smart boys but they do just like to have fun.

Graduation held a bunch of unexpected paths for the three of them:

Damien had been excepted into many Universities where he would begin to study political science and leadership.

Mark had also been excepted into University but he would drop out after the first semester to pursue acting. 

William was not sure what he wanted to do and decided to follow his father’s footsteps and joins the army. 

1930s/early 1940s(?): Young Adult - WKM

Damien meets a very interesting law student while at university and you become fast friends. One night he decides to invite you along as his plus one to one of Mark’s movie premiers. This is where you meet Markiplier for the first time. 

William goes into boot camp and is one of the star soldiers. He finds this stuff easy. What he is not expecting is to be sent overseas. While over there he climbs up ranks quickly but also experiences things that they had no way to train him for in boot camp. Will does get to visit home when he can but that becomes less and less often. 

Mark has some trouble at first with the acting but with a few string pulls, and help from his friends and family, he does make it to Hollywood. He soon adopts the name Mark Iplier as his stage name, like all the stars were doing. It was misspelled in the paper’s once as Markiplier and that misspelling stuck.

Mark’s parents move out to a smaller country home and give The House over to Mark and William. With William over in the army and rarely home the young military man decides that it would be fine to sign The House fully over to Mark. 

Mark invites Celine to a movie premier and soon after begin to date. 

The Great Depression has also hit during this time. It puts a small dent in many of their lives: 

Mark’s career falters some but he stays strong with the rich audiences.  

Damien graduates and has some trouble finding a job right away. 

William is given an UNDETERMINED amount of leave due to ‘military cuts’. This was an excuse because of training gone wrong. Hint: Zombies + Jungle. 

William moves back into The House with Mark’s promise that he can stay as long as he needs to until he gets back on his feet. William is greatful for his cousin’s kindness but can’t help but feel that there is something off. 

Mark and Celine get married. Damien is happy (?) for them but William is not too pleased but does not say anything about it because he does want her to be happy. 

William moves out of The House right after the wedding. He barely talks to Mark anymore. Damien tries to get them together but it is always tense (on Will’s side especially). The only one that can seem to cut the tension some is Celine. 

Y/N gets a job in the DA’s office. Just a simple job right now but it is a start. After so long of no work. 

Mark and Celine were married for about 2-3 years before things go downhill. Mark is becoming very egotistical with his job and Celine does not like this new side of Mark. She decides to confide in William with this. Their meetings over her worries soon turn into something more. 

The revealing of his feelings was an accident but William does not regret it

He finds he can tell Celine things that he had been scared to tell anyone about. 

William did not mean to use Mark to secretly be dating Celine but once he asked for money to take out the girl of his dreams he found he could not stop. He wanted to make her happy and she was not happy with Mark. 

These meetings do catch Mark’s suspicions after awhile and that is when the detective comes into play. Becoming Mark’s friend and secretly investigating people. 

Mark does find out through the detective (whom he doesnt believe at first) and then by sheer chance. He catches Celine kissing William good bye after a dinner where the three of them were together. There is a confrontation, Will almost shoots Mark but Celine gets between them. Mark tells Celine she has to make a choice. In the morning he finds her gone and her closet empty. 

Meanwhile Damien is busy and he regrets his terribly. He had gotten a job at the town hall and soon started a mayoral campaign when he saw that their current mayor was doing nothing in terms of trying to help the people that were suffering from the Depression. When he hears of the events that happened between Mark, Celine, and William he does try to go and talk to any of them but none of them wish to talk about it. Mark won’t even answer any of his letters. 

Mark locks himself away in the house and falls into a terrible depression. He does not accept movie deals, he does not talk to press, he just stays in his home and talks to no one. He attempts suicide and soon learns about The House’s ability to prevent him from dying. He ‘comes up’ with an idea about how to get revenge for the situation and begins to explore this dark nature. 

Celine cannot shake the feeling of darkness that had been around her while she lived at The House and starts to dig into it. Eventually finding about the occult and the mystical arts. William has no idea about this as he is working off his anger the only way he knows how: shooting. He goes on a safari hunt with what extra money he still had saved...sadly it goes terribly wrong and not all of him comes back. Celine does her best to help him recover but PTSD isn’t a a known thing yet really so there isn’t much she can do

Damien is also there to support Will. Mark makes no attempt to reach out besides to remind Will of the debt he owes...that is until he stops sending letts all together. 

Damein contacts you after finding you and appoints you to DA. It is a great honor. 

After much ‘plotting’ (The Dark entity in The House giving Mark ideas), the revenge plot is set to frame the colonel. He calls in the detective to investigate his new butler and the cook under the pretense that he wants to make sure that things were okay before he through a nice celebratory poker night, which he invites the detective to. He then sends out the other three invites on people he wants for this. Damien, whom he knew would mourn his death and get his affairs in order. You, the district attorney who will surely make sure justice is done. The Detective, whom will make sure that all the planted evidence will point to William. And, of course, William, the man he would frame for his death and then destroy his reputation.

Dark is better now in the Sia RP! Much better, now he's more like Damien but with even more anxiety and Fangs.

Heist and Space aren't in any of those AUs, just a select few egos I thought would make the best storylines.

Eric Derekson, Bim Trimmer, Doc/Dr. Iplier (basically an OC now, his last name isn't even Iplier it's Fibula), The Host, Dark, Wilford, Yancy, Bing, The DA and A General/Generic Mark (original aim was a sort of Van-Video dynamic with him and The DA).

The Base AU is 3 years old now and the Sia RP a little over 2, and at this moment there's not a lot of interest in adding new characters. Except, Mer exist in Sia RP and we might throw in a reference to Stan The Water Man and him being part Mer but that's just a cameo.

Darkstache Week 2021 Day 4: So Far from the Sea

Summary: Dark is an unwilling recuse from the sea and he struggles to adapt to his new environment until the aquarium brings in a new attraction.

A/N: WARNING! Lots of warnings for this one. Mentions of near death accidents, mentions of accidental and purposeful self harm, mentions of forced captivity because of injury.

Prompt: cryptids and creatures/drive-in movies

Dark wasn’t known to take wild chances. He knew better, he’d seen merfolk get hit and killed — some by accident but others had been killed on purpose by humans — and Dark thought himself to be smarter and more clever than he should have.

Mostly because humans were unpredictable. Horribly unpredictable.

It had been spring, and humans were drunk and loud and scaring away the good fish. Dark was hungry and debated for the first time in his life just risking it to see if humans tasted like sewage like he’d heard. He was almost hungry enough to try it.

But his resolve held and he tried to get a hold of some of the human’s food, and was burned for it. Thinking back, it had been fear that caused it. Dark, who lived in swamps and murkier rivers, and was colored in dark shades to help blend in, came over too fast and too desperately and a human jumped back. It caused one of the grills to fall into the water and burn two of his much needed fins and his side.

He tried to escape but his burned and injured fins only resulted in more pain and swiftly getting captured. Although Dark took pride in biting many of them in his attempt to escape, he was sedated and brought to some fancy “rescue aquarium” which Dark hated.

The food was more than plenty but his freedom had been stolen and robbed from him. He smashed against the glass and hissed, trying to refuse the food until inevitably the hunger got to him.

Dark would try and claw his way through a hatch and aggressively bang against the rocks. He would have managed to be more of a threat or even escape if his glider fins hadn’t been burned and damaged.

Then, after another attempt of escape failed again, Dark caught motion out of the corner of his eyes and flinched before seeing a slight he hadn’t seen in some time.

A flash of a pink and beige tail and fins was moving around and when he watched the mer glide through the water before it turned to look at him.

Dark braced for a fight, but when the other mer approached the creature set their webbed hand on the glass wall, reminding Dark that it was still there.

Then the other mer made a flip and disappeared into the other half of the tank as Dark carefully made his way over. Dark watched the other mer swim around with such potent jealousy, he wanted to bite the other mer to the bone.

The mer swam down towards the bottom of the tank and towards a vent that Dark had assumed was only to let in and out water for circulation. But he quickly realized it had an added purpose.

“Hello there,” the other mer greeted. “I’m Wilford.”

Dark slapped a jet of water towards him. “I don’t care.”

“Fiesty little temptus, aren’t you?” Wilford grinned. “They said you were a little firecracker.”

“A what?” Dark asked in confusion.

“Sorry, human term,” Wilford apologized, laying down on the sandy floor. “I’ve been around them a bit too long.”

“You can still swim, you could just change and get out,” Dark snapped at him.

“Why? My dear?” Wilford smiled. “Free food. I’m never bored. And now your pretty face is here to brighten my day.”

Dark tensed up and slapped sand towards the vent, before swimming away, hiding in his little cove.

The next couple cycles of lights, had Dark hiding from Wilford and refusing to talk to him or even see him. Wilford of course tried to talk to him regardless. Dark found out many things about Wilford: mainly that he had been brought to the aquarium when he was younger and was sick when he was taken in. He’d escaped a couple times when he was younger, mostly to prove a point but he always came back for the same reason: the food was free and the environment safe.

Both things that Dark hated to admit were true. Even if Dark was being stubborn and obstinate, he’d eaten better than he had in weeks. But Dark still refused to admit it.

Dark did give Wilford his name but it was much longer before Dark admitted to liking the other mer’s company. His smile was infectious and then the gifts started coming.

At first it was little things. A door had been opened that Dark hadn’t even known wasn’t an actual part of the wall and Wilford was swimming around. Dark pointedly refused to move through it.

If it could open, it could just as easily close. And Wilford did admit that the faster way out of the enclosure was through that door, there was a tunnel that Wilford had used many times.

Then Wilford began leaving little shells around Dark’s cove. He never entered it, often swimming back to his own half of the enclosure to sleep or sunbathe.

Dark rejected the gifts at first, it took well over two months for Dark to finally accept food from Wilford. He hated the enclosure, and didn’t want the humans touching his fins. The injury was getting worse and they did sedate him to treat them and it made Dark more paranoid and angrier. But he couldn’t stay mad at Wilford.

He hated to admit it but having Wilford around was making him feel better. The sight of another mer was an unexpected comfort. Especially one that wasn’t treating him poorly for his injuries. Dark’s old pod would have kicked him out for an injury like this.

And Wil was right . . . the food was free. The food was safe. But he hated how cramped his enclosure was.

The humans promised he could go back when he could swim like he used to. But Dark liked being with Wilford and he knew the mer didn’t want to leave the enclosure.

silly idea: after TK Reginald, Henry, Right, and Ellie go on a heist for Neptune's Pearl, and someone (henry-) accidentally dropped it in a nearby lake and had to go get it. But he hasnt come up and its been nearly 2 minutes now so then Ellie goes, and she doesnt come back up either, leading Reginald to go jump in. He ALSO doesn't come back up leading to a panicky right who thanks the fact that Dr. V made his cybernetics waterproof, and went into the lake. Then he just sees Reginald as a purple tailed mer, Ellie has a more eel like tail, and Henry has tentacles (like ursula for context), and Right is the only one not affected other than being able to breath and talk underwater easily, as both of his legs are metal. He gets a fin on his left arm tho. Proceed everyone panicking, as until right joined them, they were trying to get the pearl unstuck and now they all are mers?!

Henry doesn't even remember dropping the pearl, just that he thought he heard something calling for him and he kind of freaked out. Now he and everyone else is freaking out because they are now various mer creatures.

Reginald thankfully regains his composure and gets everyone calmed down. Atleast Reginald knows why Sir Wilford IV had "Never ever EVER go after Neptune's Pearl." written as the only treasure not to ever steal. The four of them slowly start examining themselves and each other, taking a closer look at their new sea features.

Right then hears something and swims towards the pearl, placing his hand on it. The jewel glows a vibrant glow and soon the four of them were on land as humans again with the pearl on land. The four collectively decide to put the pearl back and never speak of this again.

Except that when they go underwater a certain amount, they transform again. On the one hand, the four's new abilities let them travel underwater to get treasures that was once lost to see. On the other hand, the longer they stay underwater, the strange compulsion to just want to stay in the sea gets stronger everytime.

For now though, Reginald has it written that unless it is a very rare treasure and they all four go as a team, they do not go into deep bodies of water.

The lights had started flickering in his telling, the sunlight from outside being dimmed by the shadows within the mansion

“I saw the beginning of Mer and tasted the creation of my own atoms”

The air had cooled, the weight heavy, the feeling of an ocean pushing and ebbing against muscle-

“I felt the crushing weight of a universe made and the cry of every single drop of water in existence”

A swirling vortex of flitting shadows, at the corners of ones sights, gone yet still there when looking, everywhere and everywhere and everywhere-

“I felt the heat of a star, scraping at my very existence and the blinding despair of rage”

A senseless screaming not there yet so maddeningly present-
