I find it really difficult to express myself in any way, shape or form, but i will try my best bcuz i heard it really helps to your mental health. so here i go

To begin with, im really selfish and care waaaaaaay to much about what people say about me, even if i dont show it at all, im always wary of what they say or see even when im not in their line of sight or the subject in question, im always listening and whatching and paying attention to things that dont even matter to me at all, but i still do that, and it has lead me to hearing things that i didnt want to hear or say awful things to people that i care about and still regret saying them to this day.

emmy altava is such an underrated character. or maybe this is a #meproblem and i was the only one underrating her as a little 3dsless child. because i liked emmy well enough in last specter but i always thought she was a bit boring as an assistant character compared to flora and luke, but her character is so rich throughout her three games (and there are lovely little touches towards her backstory sprinkled into last specter). everyone says that layton is such a character and they’re not wrong but emmy was raised in a militant archaeology cult

Name: Addan Deithwen

Race/Class/Alignment: (mostly) Neutral Human Variant Battlemaster Fighter

Vitals: Unremarkable human male, short dark hair, the only thing distinct about him is the look in his eyes, which are perpetually intense and aware and evaluating, carries himself with a calculation and confidence no matter where he is, always seems to be tense or slightly on edge, one wonders if he even knows how to relax, never turns off his brain unless he’s sleeping (and even that is questionable...image used is Garrett Hedlund from the Eragon movie), he keeps it covered as best he can but his back is pock-marked in scars...leftover from his time under the curse

Personality: Based on my interpretation (with a looooot of help from Astolat on Ao3) of a certain emperor from a certain video game about a certain Witcher...Addan is a goal-oriented hardass who, at the end of the day, has good intentions and wants the best for others around him, but isn’t going to waste time being nice about getting it. The ends justifies the means - up to a point - but he’s not a short-sighted idiot who’s willing to sacrifice anything in the name of the greater good. He’s smart. He has his priorities in place. He is the poster child for stubbornness and Will Not Stop until he gets what he wants. (What he wants is usually to establish long-lasting peace and trade between different peoples and to create a society that will /actually/ be beneficial for everyone involved. He doesn’t want to rule just for the sake of ruling. He wants to rule so he can make things better.) Though years of hardship and struggle have given him a somewhat prickly demeanor, he’s still a master at reading people and using/instructing everyone around him to their greatest potential. He’s an expert tactician. Best ways to get approval are to give him maps and talk about infrastructure.

Bio: Addan was born into a noble family. Next in line to rule, grew up with the best education and training available, etc. But a coup when he was about thirteen put a premature end to that, and after his entire family was murdered he managed to escape into the wilderness with a curse that turned him into a beast. A little over ten years later the curse was broken, and he immediately set himself on the path to getting back his throne. (This is the era he’s most fun to play.) In at least one version of the homebrew world that I run, he managed to do so, and immediately abolished the idea of a monarchy the moment he did and put in place a masked council a la Waterdeep style instead. (Spoilers: he makes sure that there are commoners mixed in among the masked lords as well as nobles)

On one hand I should play what I like but on the other hand it seems something of a waste to play around in a high fantasy world as a regular old human. Mrph.

Anyway I wish there was a fighter build that was /actually/ Intelligence-based, since Addan is supposed to fight with his brain more than anything else. I rolled well for stats but otherwise it’s hard to make a smart and charismatic fighter. #MeProblems

I know it’s rude, but sometimes someone will talk to me about a subject they think I care about at work, but I really don’t and all I want to do is continue to work. But instead of just ignoring them or even saying matter-of-factly, “sorry to cut you off but I have to finish this up”, I stupidly keep the conversation going by showing interest because I don’t want to hurt their feelings somehow...but all I am honestly thinking is “please go away. please go away. I don’t care and I need to do my work.”

Literal definition of a #MeProblem and I don’t know how to help myself.
