I find it really difficult to express myself in any way, shape or form, but i will try my best bcuz i heard it really helps to your mental health. so here i go

To begin with, im really selfish and care waaaaaaay to much about what people say about me, even if i dont show it at all, im always wary of what they say or see even when im not in their line of sight or the subject in question, im always listening and whatching and paying attention to things that dont even matter to me at all, but i still do that, and it has lead me to hearing things that i didnt want to hear or say awful things to people that i care about and still regret saying them to this day.

emmy altava is such an underrated character. or maybe this is a #meproblem and i was the only one underrating her as a little 3dsless child. because i liked emmy well enough in last specter but i always thought she was a bit boring as an assistant character compared to flora and luke, but her character is so rich throughout her three games (and there are lovely little touches towards her backstory sprinkled into last specter). everyone says that layton is such a character and they’re not wrong but emmy was raised in a militant archaeology cult

I know it’s rude, but sometimes someone will talk to me about a subject they think I care about at work, but I really don’t and all I want to do is continue to work. But instead of just ignoring them or even saying matter-of-factly, “sorry to cut you off but I have to finish this up”, I stupidly keep the conversation going by showing interest because I don’t want to hurt their feelings somehow...but all I am honestly thinking is “please go away. please go away. I don’t care and I need to do my work.”
