This one is part of a series where I explore kinks I really enjoy but for some reason I rarely ever write about. It worked as it kind of "unlocked" forced pregnancy for me and I started using it in like... 3 or 4 fics lmao.

This in particular is an Omegaverse in which Dick gets abducted together with a bunch of other Omegas, and kept under strict observation for a while (and also forcefully given various drugs and experimented on while partially sedated). Unbeknownst to him also a bunch of Alphas have been abducted and tests are run on the individual subjects to get them paired with the "fittest candidate", then a very powerful artificial heat/rut gets triggered for all the "couples". Dick gets paired with Slade of course. He does get pregnant and he's allowed to be with Slade initially, but at some point they try to separate them to keep experimenting on Dick and his unborn pup, although at this point Dick and Slade fight back and manage to get themselves out of there.

Dick is in severe PTSD after all of this (the whole ordeal lasted months and he's been in isolation for most of them, he also has very faint but very traumatic recollections of when he got sedated and variably probed), and Slade takes care of him for a while. They realize that the pup is growing more slowly than the average (bc of the experiments this is not going to be a normal pup), and at some point Dick kind of snaps out of it and decides he doesn't want it, and he can't deal with having this alien thing inside of him any longer.

Thing is. Slade disagrees, because this is also his pup, and from taking care of Dick he switches to actively keeping Dick prisoner, and forcing him to carry the pregnancy to term (they are both unaware that this is also a result of the experiments and Slade is not thinking clearly or acting normally, and the idea of losing this pup sends him into an almost berserker rage. This is something Dick will realize at some point, but it's not like knowing it helps).

I haven't decided how it ends, if the pup gets taken away soon after they're born, or if Slade and/or Dick actually raise them. I have in fact only written the beginning of this lol. I accept suggestions!

Ignoring the “when is it considered a life” argument this begs the question. Would they know Vecna needed lives, before the abortion since it wasn’t until after Patrick they knew he needed four gates?

And two, does the death count without the curse? Can he curse the fetus or does it transfer to it from Chrissy?

Technically if it’s small enough to be aborted it wouldn’t have a brain to invade in the first place. So does it really matter?

Hey. What if Chrissy was cursed, but she doesn’t go to Eddie to ask for ket, she goes to ask for carboprost. And maybe she doesn’t call it that by name, and maybe she doesn’t outright say that she can’t stay pregnant because it would mean that she’d have to marry Jason, but that doesn’t matter. Because in this version, Eddie is the child of an accidental pregnancy, and his mom and dad got married, and it destroyed his mom. So fuck that noise.

Normally, he’d have the meds on hand, and would offer to drive her out of town to a clinic. He happens to be out, and Chrissy is terrified (because Vecna is making it all so much worse) so Eddie changes something.

He offers to drive Dustin home, and has Chrissy with him. Dustin thinks this is hella weird, but Eddie says that he needs to talk to Claudia. Dustin still demands answers, but the kid knows that his mom is a nurse, and it has to be important to happen at 11 on a Friday. Chrissy stays in the car with her favorite music playing to help her calm down, while Eddie has a quick, awkward conversation with Claudia. She thinks Eddie got his girlfriend pregnant and gives him a look about it. She didn’t think that situation was a possible problem for Eddie tbh.

Claudia doesn’t have a random bag of abortion meds with her - that would be insane - but she works the next day, and can get Chrissy in quickly and quietly. Before opening.

Eddie goes back out to the van with the news, planning to ignore Dustin’s questions the entire way, and then leave. Thus. Dustin is with Eddie when Chrissy pauses the tape to listen. Thus. Dustin sees her cursed, and he’s a little shit, but he is always right. Cranks the music back up, manages, with Eddie’s help, to snap her out of it.

Dustin runs inside to grab his walkie, shout to his mom he’s having a sleepover, and starts the fight 16 hours early.

I’m not a liberal so I’m not as upset at Trump winning as I am about the results of certain ballot initiatives. Florida voted against legal weed and abortion. While the former isn’t as surprising, the latter is. Abortion is actually very popular with Americans so this signals a very right wing turn for Florida. In NYC, most of Mayor Adams’ power grab proposals passed.

We don’t often hear from the men who lose children to abortion and I think this testimony from a man whose daughter, Clementine, was ripped apart in the womb at five months old is very powerful.

He lost his daughter and Clementine lost her life and she doesn’t get a funeral or even respect. And her father is just supposed to move on and forget about her without even mourning her because our society has decided that Clementine wasn’t human “enough” to matter.

I wish those Mouthwashing fans would stop attacking everyone who draws Anya as pregnant. First of all I'm pretty sure (Im not an abortion expert so I might be wrong) even if they got back to Earth safely Anya would be too far along to get one so it's not realistic but that's not even my main issue.

Mouthwashing is a PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR GAME that is about people's bodily autonomy being stripped away from them. Yes Anya could kill that thing in a perfect world, but the world of Mouthwashing is very specifically not a perfect world and Anya's pregnancy is incredibly important to the narrative. "But they said it was a good ending au" ok and usually Curly is still severely burned, obviously this is a good RELATIVE TO CANON AU, not the sunshine, rainbows and baby bunnies au.

Anya's pregnancy is the catalyst for everything that happens in the story. While yes there are definitely pro-lifers who are making content like that to push their agenda, that's not where most of this is coming from, and attacking random who people are drawing psychological horror art for the psychological horror game for it just makes you look like an asshole.

I know "Drawing something doesn't mean you condone it irl" Is largely used in shipping discourse but I feel like Mouthwashing fans should be able to understand that "Exploring dark/depressing themes in art, especially fan art of a game like Mouthwashing, does not mean that you think that this is the best possible situation in the real world"

Edit: Also (while I don't think people who do this are bad or media illiterate) I feel like just saying "Well in my AU Anya can just abort that thing and everyone else who does it differently is wrong" kinda misses the point of Mouthwashing. As I said Mouthwashing is a game about the horror of losing bodily autonomy and how these men have failed Anya, it is incredibly important to the narrative and horror of the game that Anya is forced to keep the baby. 

Obviously, I think people should be allowed to write AU’s where Anya has the choice of getting rid of the baby because it is a nice alternate universe but to me at least it feels like a bit of a cop-out. These au’s actively reject one of the main themes of this game and the creators tend to (not all of them, just some) act like they are better than everyone else who tries to engage with it because conveniently getting rid of one of the most important parts of the game's story and horror makes them feel better even if it ruins the narrative. Don’t get me wrong making an AU so you can feel better is great, I do that all the time, but you shouldn’t be harassing people for doing things differently. (Oh yeah and harassing people over AU’s is extremely childish and gross)

Dale is the type of father to say this kind of stuff to Dev. He'd make Dev feel indebted to him for his (Dale's) choice to have him, for taking up so much of his energy and time while in utero. "I spent so much time being sick because you were such a hassle as a fetus," or "it was hell being pregnant with you; be grateful I didn't get that abortion." Stuff like that.

Dale's exaggerating about the labor thing by the way. He had the world's easiest labor and delivery. He was in labor for 12 hours maximum and he barely felt anything. Bro just wants to complain.

it's insane that I can name barely any media where a character is pregnant and then actually gets an abortion. it's always mentioned as an option and considered and then usually there's a last minute change of mind because someone (usually the father or a medical professional) convinced them. reactionary as hell.

What name would a hypothetical Serori and Pom kid be called?

Serori didn’t have any parents or reliable adults in her childhood, so she sees herself as unfit for the role of parent, however she would enjoy serving as a mentor figure to someone else’s kid.

Pom daydreams about starting a family all the time, but at the end of the day she recognizes that her dreaming about having her own kid to dote on is a way to cope with her own parents not being around much (if at all) during her childhood. she likes the idea of having kids, but knows she wouldn’t like to face the reality of it.

i couldn’t see Pom and Serori having a kid together unless a child’s parents died in a horrific and tragic accident right in front of all three of them, with pom & serori knowing this child has no support system or relatives to leave them with.
