The interpretation of getting your period during specific lunar phases is often associated with symbolic and metaphoric meanings rather than a scientifically established connection.
Here are some general interpretations associated with menstruation and specific lunar phases:
Full Moon: The full moon represents the peak of the lunar cycle and is often associated with illumination, abundance, and heightened energy. Getting your period during a full moon can be seen as a time of release, letting go, and emotional cleansing.
New Moon: The new moon phase represents a fresh start, new beginnings, and potential for growth. Menstruating during a new moon may symbolize a time of renewal, introspection, and setting intentions for the upcoming cycle.
Waxing Crescent: The waxing crescent phase signifies growth, hope, and the manifestation of desires. If you get your period during this phase, it might be interpreted as a time of nurturing your inner desires and dreams.
First Quarter: The first quarter, also known as the half-moon or waxing half-moon, represents challenges, decision-making, and taking action. Menstruating during this phase could be seen as a time of confronting obstacles, making important choices, and embracing your personal power.
Waxing Gibbous: The waxing gibbous phase symbolizes progress, refinement, and further development. If you get your period during this phase, it might be viewed as a time of self-improvement, growth, and honing your skills or talents.
Waning Gibbous: The waning gibbous phase is associated with gratitude, reflection, and letting go. Menstruating during this phase could be seen as a time of releasing what no longer serves you, practicing self-care, and expressing gratitude for the experiences of the previous cycle.
Waning Crescent: The waning crescent phase represents surrender, rest, and preparation for a new beginning. If you get your period during this phase, it might be interpreted as a time of introspection, self-care, and embracing stillness before the next cycle begins.
It's important to note that these interpretations are subjective and influenced by personal beliefs, cultural backgrounds, and spiritual practices.
The meaning you assign to your period in relation to specific lunar phases is a personal choice, and it's up to you to explore and find what resonates with you on an individual level.

A transition phase. I now bleed in preparation with the new moon and no longer bleed when the moon is full. I’m beginning my journey to see what this means for me and what the universe is telling me. I paint my face with nu moon blood to make the connection between mind, body, physical, spiritual and place a drop over my third eye. My nectar is sacred and healing.

hello, dick.
as I am on my period, (ending soon.) I can also smell when anyone else on the internet is on their period or ovulating. it is a thing some womb havers (spiritual wombs too. and out of body included, so long as you are touching a uterus.) can do.
croaker... kermit is on his period.
I can smell it. it is undeniable. wafting through the air.
did you perhaps engage in breeding him at some point? cis men, and muppets, when bred, told they look "breedable" or engaging in egg laying, have been found to develop wombs.
he has been looking rather distressed in the recent pictures of him, PMS, perchance?
I do not like you. I am simply telling you this because knowing when your muppet is on their period is very important to their health. prick.
You are so fucking ignorant. I have ensured that my plushie is washed thoroughly after each time I have bred him, excluding once recently when he had been a bad muppet and needed punished (consensually. It is part of our dom/sub relationship). But that is besides the point. There is no blood. What you are smelling are the pheremones Kermit releases when he feels particularly fertile. This differs from menstration as it has more to do with his state of mind than a monthly cycle. Please get your facts straight before I kick your clitoris clean off.

Chiasa has a weird relationship with kegare nowhadays: Kegare is a 'spiritual dirt' that is a core part of Shintoism. Its different from sin in the fact that you can get kegare both for stuff you do but also stuff that you are exposed to. Like, killing would give you kegare, but so would just being around someone who died.
Thanks to the fact that you can purify yourself, it is a much more forgiving system - but that doesn't stop people from not associating with those that circustances mean that they get more kegare then they can possible clean off.
Over the years she has stopped believeing in the 'exposure' part of kegare as much: she understands that alot of that is just part of life - handeling death, woman's menstration, sex, etc.
But she does still think that actions can cause kegare: and just like avoiding swiming in sewage, chiasa would prefer to avoid doing things that are kegare: it is very much a feeling thing for her though - she believes that you can feel when something is bad for the spirit.
...and yes, chiasa cleaned herself 4 times over after killing the masked man.

Womanhood and spritiruality
As a spiritual woman I see so much praise of fertility, motherhood, and menstruation but I want to take a second to talk about those of us who don't want to be mothers, can't be mothers, or have issues with menstration. Not all women are created for that. I was born premature and I have PCOS which both effect my chances of having children, even though I currently have no desire to ever have children (I'd much rather adopt or just be a cool aunt), and one effects menstration. I just want to say that for any women who don't experience these you are just as divine. You are just as feminine if you resonate with that. You are just as sacred and beautiful. We are wonderfully and beautifully made by the universe (and/or whatever you believe in) and that's all that matters.

We are female. I started my cycle today seems fitting that I started the day of so many woman's marches and the joining of females rallying together in defiance against the new term of presidency.

Moon phase analogies & menstruation
Moon phase analogies are often used metaphorically to describe the different stages of the menstrual cycle.
Here's a breakdown of how the moon phases are sometimes associated with menstrual cycle phases:
New Moon: The new moon phase is associated with the beginning of the menstrual cycle, particularly with menstruation itself. Just as the moon is not visible during this phase, it symbolizes the shedding and release of the uterine lining during menstruation.
Waxing Moon: The waxing moon phase, when the moon is growing from new to full, is sometimes linked to the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle. This phase begins after menstruation ends and involves the maturation of ovarian follicles in preparation for ovulation.
Full Moon: The full moon phase is often compared to the ovulation phase of the menstrual cycle. Just as the moon reaches its fullest and brightest state, ovulation represents the release of a mature egg from the ovary.
Waning Moon: The waning moon phase, when the moon is decreasing from full to new, can be associated with the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle. This phase occurs after ovulation and before menstruation, and it involves the preparation of the uterus for potential implantation and the production of hormones to support a potential pregnancy.
It's important to note that these associations are symbolic and metaphorical rather than scientifically proven connections. While some individuals may find meaning and connection in these analogies, the menstrual cycle is primarily regulated by hormonal changes in the body rather than the actual phases of the moon.
Understanding and tracking your own menstrual cycle, including the length and characteristics of each phase, can provide valuable insights into your reproductive health. It's always recommended to consult with healthcare professionals or medical experts for accurate information and guidance regarding your menstrual cycle and reproductive well-being.

Menstruation & spirituality
The relationship between female menstrual cycles and the phases of the moon is often a topic of interest and discussion. While there are various beliefs and theories surrounding this connection, it's important to note that scientific evidence supporting a direct correlation between menstrual cycles and moon phases is limited.
However, many cultures and ancient traditions have long associated the menstrual cycle with the lunar cycle, considering them both to be interconnected rhythms of nature.
Here are a few key aspects often discussed regarding female periods and moon cycles:
Duration and Length: The lunar cycle, which is the time it takes for the moon to complete a full cycle of phases, is approximately 29.5 days. This length is often compared to the average menstrual cycle of approximately 28 days. However, menstrual cycles can vary significantly among individuals, ranging from around 21 to 35 days or more.
Moon Phase Analogies: Some people draw parallels between the four primary moon phases (new moon, waxing moon, full moon, and waning moon) and the different stages of the menstrual cycle. For instance, the new moon is often associated with menstruation or the beginning of the cycle, while the full moon is linked to ovulation or the midpoint of the cycle.
Lunar Symbolism: The moon is frequently considered a symbol of feminine energy, intuition, and cycles. This symbolism aligns with the perception of the menstrual cycle as a natural process connected to the rhythms of life and nature.
Personal Connection: Some individuals report experiencing personal associations between their menstrual cycles and moon phases. They may feel heightened emotions or energy during specific lunar phases or notice patterns over time. However, these experiences are subjective and can vary widely among individuals.
It's important to remember that menstruation is primarily regulated by hormonal changes in the body, particularly the rise and fall of estrogen and progesterone. While the moon can serve as a metaphorical or symbolic representation of cycles and femininity, its influence on the physiological aspects of menstruation remains unclear from a scientific standpoint.
It's always recommended to consult with healthcare professionals or medical experts for accurate information and guidance regarding menstruation and reproductive health.
