One annoying & stupid thing (of the thousands of annoying stupid flaws) about "r*dical feminism" is that it treats all cis women as perpetual victims with no autonomy ever & that any choices they make are actually non-choices manipulated by men or whatever & that this has always been the case everywhere forever

Found used copies of the blackgaard chronicles books, only to find out the fifth book in the series will arrive A LITERAL WEEK before the other four. Why has god forsaken me?

Hrrrhrhr this morning I had a phone call with the guy I’m sorta kinda seeing if you count hookups to be seeing each other and we were talking about gender neutral terms for honourifics like say Dom/me is one which is usually gendered right? So anyway he wants to try being less dominant so we were chatting about nicknames and pet names and honorifics for each other and so on and he said ‘how’d you feel about something like ‘your grace’? Or ‘my liege’? I like both of those’

And the sound I made was unreal. I usually get just like sir or even daddy a couple of times I nm y life but I’ve never felt gender euphoria more than I have since he decided to call me ‘your grace’ djdbbdhsh

For the record I’m calling him Beloved for now; just until we can work out what he enjoys as a submissive partner then I might change it up.

hating that every ultra fem/frilly/cute aesthetic gets called creepy. first lolita. then the selkie dress trend. now coquette. almost no one is thinking about men and how men will view them when they're painstakingly putting on 300 ribbons and bows i promise you

#lolita is part of harajuku fashion so it can be argued. at least from my pretty outsider view #that its specifically counterculture since it openly goes against the feminie 'ideal' in japan in its own way #selkie was made by a woman i think #checked and yes #coquette has origins in some sexier aesthetics but its become so blended with lolita and similar styles that its #lost a lot of that origin imo #also someone feminine looking pretty isn't always about men i thought wed been over this like a decade ago #people on tiktok seem to be going backwards in their feminist takes these days but after 'girl math' i shouldn't be surprised #coquette has been in resurgence (?) as a nail art trend that looks very much like it borrows some elements of classic lolita which is why #im mentioning them both in this very no nuance no context post #because those types of manicures are a Lot of work and money to put into somethign (most) cishet men will see as frivolous #like. a lot of sets of coquette inspired nails i've seen recently are being priced by techs at $200+#because its not just the standard extension it has detailed art and 3d decoration or sculpting #anyway i'm especially mad that this is now comign from other feminine-presenting people who call themselves feminists as i just had to see

#i've had a very intense thriller like dream last night; so it was like as if i was in a movie and wasn't directly in the plot #but observing from side but at the same time i was one of the ppl this is such a weird dream thing but w/e #so the plot was there's like a group of 8 people and idk how they were tied together but it was like battle royale kind of scenario #it was known that one of the men kllled 3 women out of the group and i was either the escaping one or it was a retelling of the story #to the point how she was caught or something and all i remember she was doing her best hiding but her safe place got spotted by someone #who was cleaning windows in those very high apartnent buildings?? or wait it was a manicure master idr #but the fact that they were in the window 💀#i wish i could remember more it was very interesting and i woke up with a strong feeling that movie actually existscmfmfm #sometimes the plot is so interesting i consider noting down but usually by that time i already forgot big chunks 🤦‍♀️🙈💀#tbd
