How to Care for Your Denim Jeans? Tips and Tricks for Longevity
Denim jeans are a classic staple in every man’s wardrobe. Whether you’re wearing men’s branded jeans for a casual outing or a more formal event, they are a versatile and durable option that can last for years with the right care. However, improper washing and drying techniques can cause your jeans to fade, shrink, or lose their shape. Here are some tips and tricks to help you care for your men branded jeans and ensure their longevity.
Tips and Tricks
Follow the care instructions on the label Before washing your jeans, always check the care label for specific instructions on how to care for them. Different types of denim require different care methods, and it’s important to follow the manufacturer’s guidelines to avoid damaging your jeans. The label includes information on how to wash denim jeans, how to dry them, and the fabric type.
Wash your jeans inside out
Washing your jeans inside out can help prevent the color from fading, especially with darker shades. It also helps to protect any embellishments or prints on the outside of your jeans.
Use cold water and mild detergent
When washing your men branded jeans, use cold water and a mild detergent. Harsh detergents and hot water can damage the fibers and cause the color to fade. Avoid using bleach, as it can weaken the fabric and cause white spots to appear.
Don’t overwash your jeans
Overwashing your jeans can cause them to lose their shape and fade quickly. Unless your jeans are visibly dirty, try to wash them every 4–5 wears.
Air dry your jeans
Avoid putting your jeans in the dryer, as the heat can cause them to shrink and lose their shape. Instead, hang them to dry or lay them flat on a towel. If you must use a dryer, use the lowest heat setting possible.
Store your jeans properly
When storing your men branded jeans, avoid folding them in half, as this can cause creases and wrinkles that are difficult to remove. Hang them on a hanger or fold them neatly in a drawer.
Proper care is essential for ensuring the longevity of your men branded jeans. By following these simple tips and tricks, you can keep your denim looking great for years to come. And if you’re looking for high-quality men branded jeans, look no further than White Apple, a leading men branded jeans wholesaler known for their superior quality and craftsmanship. Are you a trans girl or non-conforming and would like to try out feminine clothing? You may want to check this out.
Say you found this dress online and you really love the overall style of it. Great! If you’re like me, you would say “F it! I’ll buy the dress and I’ll wear it how I like!” and move on with your life. That should the end of this guide, right? Except, there is one little problem: not everybody thinks this way. Those who look for the best matching outfits aren’t just searching to fit their style, color, or personality. It also has to do with their body type. If you’re in that situation, this guide may help you out.
Body shape
Believe it or not, there are many different types of body shape (up to 10). However, the most common tend to be the following (in no order):
Rectangle- Even distribution on shoulders, hips, and waistline
Pear/Triangle- Wide hips, well-defined waist, small shoulders
Hourglass- Near-exact hip and shoulder measurements, thinner waistline
Inverted Triangle- Broader shoulders, narrower hips, little waist definition
Apple/Round- Broad shoulders and big bust, thin legs and hips
Many transgender women have the inverted triangle body shape due to several factors such as genetics, bone structure, and age. However, your body shape may also change over time due to a rebalancing of hormones, body fat, and even lifestyle. While you can’t change your bone structure, you can change your body definition through exercises.
Body proportion
Here is something you may find useful if you’re looking to customize your look. Body proportions are unique to every individual and play a factor on clothing and to some extent, accessories such as jewelry. For instance, you may find the skirt you bought looks either too long or short. There are a few areas where to measure your body proportions such as wrist length or neck size. But the best way to improve your dress type is by following the “golden ratio rule” of dividing your body into three:
The way this is read is you’re either one-third top, two-thirds bottom, or you’re two-thirds top, one-third bottom. Once you get more knowledge, you can go upwards even eighths! But for now, the focus is on these two outcomes.
The two-thirds top, one-third bottom words well with long dresses:
while the one-third top, two-thirds bottom works well with more casual clothing:
Body measurements
Now that we got a few problems out of our way, it’s time to figure out what measurements you have. The best way to find out is by using a mirror and a soft measuring tape for body. Measure all the crucial parts of your body, which are the waist, hips, shoulders, and bust. This will determine the type of body you have and have a better idea on what length you will need to try out your clothing of choice.
Shoe size
One thing very important about an outfit is choosing footwear. Although you can use your old Converses with your flared jeans, you’re certainly not going to use them with a ruffled dress. You’re definitely going to want heels or flats! Unfortunately, women’s shoe size are not exactly the same as men. But don’t give up! Fortunately, there are women’s size conversion charts that help you choose what shoe size you need.
To find out your measurements on your own, grab at least two blank pieces of paper, a pencil or pen, and a measuring tape. Place your foot firmly forward and carefully trace around the outer area of your foot. Repeat this with your other foot. Once finished, grab your measuring tape and measure from your highest point to your lowest on both sheets. Measure the width as well. If both feet measure close to 10.5, your women’s size is a 12. However, due to a difference in manufacturing based on shoe brand, as well as shoe type like pumps, the average recommended size is at least 2 inches above your actual size. For those living in other countries that don’t use the US measuring size, I left a chart that shows all the possible measurements you may use to convert your shoe size into women’s size.
What to wear based on body type
Since not all clothing is made for everyone, it’s time to list what is considered the “ideal” clothing choices based on body type. Note that these are opinions from my source’s authors. IMO, the pictures below each suggestion are a better opinion. Your are free to choose your type of clothing.
Rounded or apple shapes fit best with monochrome colors and make the person look more “fit”.
Pear or triangle shapes look more balanced with decorative accessories on top while keeping the bottom more plain.
Rectangle shapes tend to have more volume with a waist belt while pleated pants give more volume on hips.
Hourglass shapes look best when wearing bodycon dresses and cardigans to emphasize volume in their waistline.
Inverted triangle shapes pull off the wide leg pants and fitted top combo the best.
For a much more comprehensive guide for each body type, I highly recommend reading The Concept Wardrobe’s guides. It gives more details on what to wear and how to choose the best combinations. Link is provided here: https://theconceptwardrobe.com/search?query=body+frame
Tips on what to wear
Now that you reached this point, I’m pretty sure you’re excited to try out what your heart desires. However, before you go out and buy that two-piece dress, I recommend researching and observing the type of clothing women wear today. Believe it or not, people will judge based on your way of dressing, from background to social status to age. A simple look like bodysuit and jeans may look perfect on you and blend you in with the girls, but something like a hot pink bodycon will make you stand out, and most likely not in a good way. So how would you choose something that blends you in with society, but also be comfortable at the same time? Here are some tips and pics:
Find clothing that “feels” feminine. In other words, buy clothing that “feminizes” your body, such as tops that make your shoulders look shorter, wrap dresses that make your waistline shorter, and skirts that make your hips look wider.
Find the best colors based on skin tone and hair color. For instance, try out warm colors such as orange if your skin tone is warm.
Dress sexy, but never go too revealing. Seriously, have some respect to yourself. But if you really want to go out wearing, for example, a two-piece outfit, wear one that looks stylish and flatters your body in a great way.
Use accessories that fit and blend well with your body. Large jewelry goes well with larger frame, small jewelry fits with smaller wrist, and so forth. Don’t forget the purse! It is absolutely necessary now that you’re wearing pocketless clothing. Choose one that fits your taste and needs.
Bras and undergarments are necessary to wear now. As you further into your transition, your breasts will start growing and it will become more difficult and uncomfortable going out braless. Start out with a brassiere, then move on to a fitted bra as they become bigger over time. As for down there, I would use boy briefs as they’re similar to boxers. Although HRT will cause it to shrink, it does not make it disappear. If you must hide it, use a gaff or a tuck, but do not use chastity belts (Seriously, stay away from that unless you’re really into that thing).
Optional: use waist shapers or corsets to slim down waist. Hip enlargement pads will also give your narrow hips and butt much needed volume. Breast forms can also give you an idea how big you want them in the future.
Fashion sense
But the most important part of choosing clothing as a trans girl is to wear whatever suits your taste.
For instance, are you more into the traditional and simple feminine aesthetic? Cottagecore may be for you:
But what if you’re the rebellious type that prefers to defy tradition? Well, maybe the alt-girl fashion is for you:
Maybe you’re the type that changes clothing based on season. So if you’re a summer-season type of girl, you’re definitely going for an outfit like this:
How about if you’re into the gym? Clearly your goal is to be like this:
Are you into business casual? There’s also a pic for that:
(The girl in the pic is also transgender! Her name is Suzi Hunter, better known as The Sphere Hunter.)
But we also can’t forget cosplay, either!:
(Cosplayer is Eden the Doll, a trans woman cosplayer! Picture belongs to Geo Leon.)
You’re probably the party type who loves some action:
Casual wear can also be tasteful and attractive too:
There’s so much to pic, but each style says a lot about what type of woman you are.
Where to buy clothing
If you’re interested in finding the right clothes for you, check out places that are especially gender-inclusive. As I’m based in the US, clothing stores such as Target are a good start while higher-end chains such as Nordstrom and Macy’s may have a better variety to choose from. If you’re a thrifty shopper, your local outlets, discount stores, and thrift shops have a surprising amount of great clothing for affordable prices. Although online sites like Amazon, Shein, and Zara have affordable and appealing clothing, many of these brands also have ethical concerns that overshadow their reputation. Dubbed “fast fashion”, they are a source of scrutiny among fashion fans and I would personally avoid them if possible. If you really need something affordable and new, I highly recommend purchasing through discount and thrift stores.
If you’re in need of safe undergarments, check out Urbody. They have clothing suitable for trans people, non-binary, and other identities, varying from binders to tucked leggings. They are founded by trans and non-binary people and use ethical practices and living wages for their workers. If you’re interested in checking their site out, here is the link to their page (I am not sponsored by them): https://urbody.co/
Conclusion
The whole point of this guide is to help you pick the proper clothing and accessories as a newly-out girl. I made this guide since there doesn’t seem to be many that are detailed. Keep in mind I’m still learning about female clothing as I am still in the first stages of transition myself. If anyone would like to add more info that is missing or provide any corrections, please reblog and add more helpful tips as it would help trans girls, trans women, non-binary, and anyone else that desires to wear affirming clothing. Please refrain from using any hurtful language if you’re doing so. Thank you and hugs!

absolutely insane how much of women's clothing is just a fake pretend costume version of mens clothing. the entire concept of fake pockets, as opposed to single-stitch-sealed ones that serve the same purpose if you really wanted it to lay flat at all costs while still allowing anyone to snip it and actually use them, is a great example. women's jeans are the worst offenders in general, they're made of paper, they're tight as a coat of paint, and they offer no real measurements, just abstract, arbitrary "sizes" that change by brand, year, and cut. it's infuriating. it would be EASY to make them the same quality. but they refuse, because they know the standard for women's clothing has fallen so low, and that so many women are absolutely horrified by the idea of shopping in the "wrong" department, that manufacturers can get away with selling literal garbage for highway robbery prices, while 15 feet away selling normal clothes, at normal prices, to men

The Poverty Aesthetic;
Why do people want to look poor?
N.hoolywood Fall/Winter 2017 men’s collection
Not wanting to look polished and elegant isn’t something new. Messier aesthetics have been popular styles since the 1950s. The hippies of the 60s wore a beat up, vintage carnival look. Punk rock trended in the 80s where people wore shredded, torn, or bleached jeans. The 90s had grunge where tattered and even dirty clothes were worn, with distressed denims and flannels. But while these trends were primarily influenced by music and political movements, the current phenomenon of wanting to look homeless or poor is not.
The poverty trend really started with shoes. Taking inspiration from grunge fashion trends which included well worn Doc Martens and Converse. Many people took to manufacturing this look by purposefully making their shoes look dirty, and old. So while these may look similar, the 90s grunge style was created through thrifting and repurposing clothes. This new trend is a mockery to 90s grunge, faking a used look is pathetic, many people who are forced to wear tattered shoes would love your brand new ones. If you really want the distressed shoe aesthetic then buy them second hand, or just wear your shoes until they look worn. This has escalated severely, to the point where luxury brands such as Gucci and Balenciaga, are now selling new used looking shoes.
N.hoolywood and Magnolia Pearl have both been criticised for glamorising the poverty aesthetic. Even John Galliano, who’s 2000s homeless inspired collection later influenced the parody Zoolander film. Celebrities such as Johnny Depp have been seen wearing ‘distressed chic’ outfits which could have been seen on a homeless person, except that he’s actually wearing Magnolia Pearl.
It is no surprise that people have taken issue with the poverty aesthetic, because this is only an aesthetic for those who have the choice. It is the ultimate luxury to be able to choose to dress poor. What a poor person will be judged for wearing is now a trend for richer people. Rich people view poor people through their lens of privilege. This style is not just controversial, it is ignorant, out of touch, and overall just privileged.
Choosing to wear second hand clothing, oversized and layered outfits, is not the issue. I understand that many people choose to dress in a more alternative and grungy style which may look similar to what is worn by poor or homeless people. It is not problematic to wear distressed or tattered clothing when you can afford otherwise. Dressing in worn and second hand clothing is one of the best ways to tackle fast fashion and over consumption. The issue lies where rich people want to masquerade as poor, when luxury brands sell and promote ‘homeless chic’ fashion.

Sign the petition to demand the creation of a new international law requiring fast-fashion garments to come with a statement of the human cost and environmental harm caused by their creation.
We all know fast fashion is bad for the planet - slave labor, environmental waste, air and water pollution, and unsustainable practices are just a few of the ways they impact our planet, our health and our lives. To date, the fast fashion industry is the 2nd largest consumer of water and is single-handedly responsible for 10% of global carbon emissions (that's more than all international flights and maritime shipping across a year combined). Even the simple act of washing these clothes releases 500,000 tons of microfibers into the ocean each year - that's equal to 50,000 plastic bottles. Fast-fashion is the 3rd leading cause of the climate crises we face, yet is rarely addressed.
Knowing these stats is one thing, and understanding them is important. Being aware of them is somewhat informative. But as long as we keep turning a blind eye to the issue, the stats are only going to get worse, and nothing will change for the better. Ignoring the issue or brushing it under the rug won't help anything. So what if we could see the real-world damage done by each of the garments we buy?
In the same way that cigarette packets have shown the harm their products do to our bodies ("SMOKING KILLS", lung cancer visualizations, etc.), what if fast fashion manufacturers & retailers had to show the harm their products do to our planet?
[Image ID: A type-writer font has been used on a brown craft paper background. The text reads: "32 animals lost their habitat to the field where my crops were planted - 2 of those animals are already endangered species. 2,700 litres of water were used in my production. I was made in a sweatshop enslaving men and women aged 16 - 45, and children aged 6 - 14. I contain 0.22kg of carbon dioxide dye." End ID.]
This is a mock-up of a label / statement for a single T-shirt, with researched statistics and educated estimates for the information I couldn't find a calculated answer for.
Now imagine labels / statements like this for every single piece of clothing: how many toxic chemicals are in those new jeans? How many litres of water did that shirt take to make? How many animals were skinned to make those cute fur-trimmed boots? How many children made that jumper? How many people were forcibly removed from their homes, so production companies could plant crops to grow the materials used in clothes manufacturing? How many families were evicted for no reason other than corporate greed? How many trees were cut down? How many animals were displaced or killed?
Would you really want to buy those items of clothing if the answers to those questions were staring you in the face?
If this information was stated in clear, accessible ways on both the website and the ticket on the actual garment, this would dramatically reduce the number of people buying fast fashion items. It would also reduce the profits being made by fast fashion companies, and could lead to many of them being forced to choose between changing and becoming sustainable, eco-froendly and ethical brands, or shutting down due to being boycotted.
Who would really want to knowingly buy things that are made by slaves, or which cost a family their home, or which contributed to deforestation? Who would continue to buy fast fashion items knowing this is the damage caused by them, when sustainable alternatives are an option?
Whether it's second-hand fashion at affordable prices, or investing more money in sustainable products which were made with high ethical standards and which cost more money due to the fact their price accounts for the time it took a person to make that item... we can say for certain that sustainable shopping is going to become much more popular if people know how important that change is. Sustainable items last much longer than fast-fashion items, which by design are created to self-destruct, as they are made to be worn a few times and then discarded in order to be replaced by the next trend's items - and as trends speed up, these items become weaker and weaker. This then leads to people spending more money in order to keep up with the newest trends, and to keep replacing clothes they throw out after a few washes.
In contrast, buying sustainable items which are designed to last years means people won't have to spend money on new clothes every few weeks, which means they'll ultimately save money in the long term and actually be able to afford those pricier items which will last much, much longer.
Now, despite the amount of harm the fast-fashion industry causes to people and the environment, the last thing we should be doing is getting angry at those who continue to buy them. Being the target of anger doesn't make large populations change their behaviour - even a cursory look through history books will tell us that much. Neither does being the target of resentment or blame.
But guilt? Shame? Those are two of the most powerful emotions to magnify when you want change to happen in waves.
And frankly, if people feel ashamed of buying something, or if buying something makes them feel guilty... they're going to stop buying it.
Those aren't the only emotions that should be felt, though. Because only feeling guilt and shame leads to feeling hopeless, scared, anxious and depressed. And we don't want that. No matter how bad things get... we don't want that.
The only other emotions to provoke are hope and pride.
If there's no hope for the future, how can anyone be expected to imagine a better one?
You wouldn't think it, what with all the climate crises and disasters we experience around the world and the total lack of commitment made by billionaires, multimillion-dollar companies and corporations and politicians.
But it's true. Scientists in Scotland have discovered bacteria which eat plastic and speed up the decomposition of it. ‘Ecocide’ is now punishable by law. Some countries within the EU are already close to meeting their 2030 goals years ahead of schedule! Thanks to scientists and small, individual changes made on a massive scale by ordinary people who are making small adjustments to our everyday choices, we can and are healing most of the ozone layer before 2050. That is something we should all feel incredibly proud of.
So imagine how much we could speed that process up if more people made those changes. Imagine how much sooner we could heal our planet if billions of people made those changes, rather than millions. Imagine how much sooner we could be seeing the effects of a healthier planet if fast fashion companies were forced to choose between going green and transparent, or closing altogether due to a lack of interest from consumers. Imagine the changes we could create if corporations made massive changes in a short amount of time, in order to save their own profits.
Imagine more labels like this, sitting alongside each other on every single piece of fast fashion clothing. A statement like this beneath every item of clothing on fast fashion websites, which transparently states the harm done.
If every single fast-fashion company and store had to display this on their clothing, on their racks, on their websites, and if there were legal punishments for those who tried to evade or lie... fashion would turn a lot greener very quickly. We'd start seeing more and more labels with "I'm made from 6 plastic bottles! I used to be a newspaper! I had 0 pesticides used on me in my production! I only contain natural dye made from berries, beans and sustainably grown flowers. I was made from apple skins and corn! The people who made me get to go home to their families every night, have days off and the adults made £150.35 each in 1 week! The animal who made the wool for me is free-range and well-cared for! I came from a small family farm, and was created with a closed-loop water system!”
That'd be a much better civilisation to shop in, don't you agree?
That is hope for the future.
That is motivation, which can fuel ordinary people to do extraordinary things and create changes they thought were impossible.
If you want to be a part of creating this change, sign the Change.org petition which demands the the creation and implementation of an international law which will require all fast-fashion products to be displayed with a statement which states the harm done to people and the planet by that garment being made & shipped.

Hi!! I was wondering if you have a list of 90s raver t shirt brands (including for women) I always see brand names for pants, and I would love to know what to look for online, thank you!
man I didn't see this in my inbox until now haha.
unfortunately there's not like, a master list of shirt brands really aside from those already connected to rave pants brands (jnco/kikwear kikgirl/gat/etc.) mostly because manufacturing shirts with prints is/was incredibly accessible (especially in the 90s) for just about ANYONE to do; so some of my favorite men's brands like clobber or freshjive that were heavily rave-influenced were simply screen printed in people's apartments in the early and mid 90s. They were either sold to shops on melrose in like 20-30pc amounts, or just out of backpacks at raves, but to my knowledge and from looking at catalogs, any of the stuff even like early anarchic adjustment were made in maybe 100-140pc amounts at MOST and just in sizes L and XL usually. 26red and some others got their start that way, caffeine was a record shop first before they ever made clothes, I have a handful of their tapes and records they used to put out.
Most of the early ravewear was just skate stuff that ravers /liked/ like hookups or split, the thing that made it "rave" was just ravers /wearing/ it, they weren't really "raver" brands. Today it's still kind of like that, I'll wear like a bugsex shirt or a 'mr clean' shirt or just local artists I like that have cartoony graphics; early happy99, souldog, I have a guess jeans shirt that has a synthesizer mockup on it, a modern phug shirt that had an acid print this one run, and other stuff, but none of those are "raver" brands per-se, you have to style them with other raverwear and accessories and such for them to be in "raver-style". The "rave"-ness is in the inherent diy perspective or clever re-appropriation towards rave (in the same vein as sample-culture in mid-90s rave music as well) and why it's so hard to truly sell "rave" to the masses even today hahaha.
in the late-90s you had stuff like newbreedgirl or random in-house hot topic brands making stuff more "rave"-oriented like the rainbowbrite shirts or the wonderland bootlegs, but ravers would also go for tinkerbell or ppg shirts sold in the same shop; it was kind of up to the shop to curate what vibe they wanted to sell. The only rave-specific brands I can think of (aside from ones attached to rave pants brands) were mostly just one-offs from record labels like the untranslatable, pureacid mixtapes, dr. freeclouds; printed flyer parties themselves like jujubeats and stuff; or random fuct, pimpgear, or thc one-offs that were usually just a play on drug culture and not so much rave. I have a thc shirt that has the nasa logo spelling "mdma" on a pill, but those were sold at skate shops or record stores.
the tldr is really that there aren't many "raver" brands and that if ravers wore them, it /was/ a "rave" brand in that haha. The few that did cater to ravers were either fully diy sold at parties themselves and/or record shops, but most "brands" were just one guy that made 2-3 designs at most for him and his friends hahaha. A lot of current clothing I see at underground raves in LA is the same or sold directly from vendors at little tables at some renegade under a bridge

I very much want to hear about the insane thrift haul!
omg OK so for context i love thrifting but i own wayyyy too many clothes so i have been good lately and have NOT been thrifting. however!!! the weekend before last i ruined my fav jeans (not thrifted) and rly needed to replace them because i wore them constantlyyyyy. so i went to my fav thrift store (which i frequent so often i know the staff by name L M A O) and my expectations were honestly low—
because these were like the PERFECT jeans. ankle length, baggy, high waist, ACTUAL denim w no stretch, in a nice light wash. they were expensive when i bought them—but they lasted me FOREVER and i wore the HELL out of them—and i knew i could get another pair but thought i'd tryyyy to find them thrifted just on the off chance.
i like to thrift jeans in the men's section as they are often better quality, actual denim, and vintage, plus they're usually priced more reasonably than women's clothes. and as soon as i stepped up to the rack i found basically. an EXACT REPLICA. of my favourite jeans. EXCEPT!!! THEY ARE ACTUAL VINTAGE!! in perfect condition. the thrift store doesn't have fitting rooms so i had to take a gamble on them but when i got them home and tried them on they were a PERFECT fit too. they're probably from the 80s/early 90s based on the brand and tag and i swear to god they fit like they were MADE for me. and i paid less than the price of a 6-inch subway sandwich for em.
i was riding a real high after finding these, so then i braved the women's section where i found:
a GORGEOUS midi dress. it's not vintage but it's from a nice brand WITH THE ORIGINAL TAGS STILL ON IT?? it has with short sleeves, a tie-belted waist, a pleated skirt, and it's a light cornflower blue with a pretty floral pattern!!
THEN!! i found an absolutely unreallllllll vintage, faux-suede-ish 2-piece co-ord set in a rly rly nice camel-y toffee colour. it has a pair of high waist, wide leg trousers + a button-down overshirt kind of top (it also had shoulder pads and beading all along the collar and pockets of the shirt, but i have since removed those lmaooooo.) it is a little bit yee haw but i'm SOOOOOOOO into it and it fits me PERFECTLY.
then i was getting rly bold so i was like ok lets check the ladies pants section just to see what's up. i found a nice (non-vintage) ecru coloured pair of jeans: high waist, wide leg, good quality denim. they didn't look worn at all. i didn't quite recognize the brand enough to say whether or not they were actually ""good"" but i was like fuck it we ball and got them too. i get them home, look up the brand. these jeans... are basically brand new..... still available on the manufacturer's website........ for $118 United States of American dollars.
i also got a little wicker basket for my board games if that is of interest to u... but that one is not as exciting hehe.
END OF THRIFT HAUL if u made it this far i LOVE U

I will do an honest review of mother jeans since clearly no one else is doing one….
No no no no no no no no no no no.
Here’s the deal:
When you call your brand “mother” you may want to make sure they’re cut for most women. Not just Asian men. (& women with very narrow hips and tiny buttockses buttock-i? I dunno… you get the gist …🤷♀️🤣)
I wear a size 6 normally now. I used to be a solid 4, but I have sized up. And I admit that. But when I wear 4 different sizes within the same brand, that’s some ass manufacturing. There is absolutely no continuity whatsoever from one pair to another. Very. Cheaply. Made!!!!! I fit in 28s with the cut that has more give, great. Some 28s in the mother jeans were even too big, and I had to roll them on top to fit my waist. But then in another style jean by them I’m a solid 29. Fine. I can even accept that. But when I keep buying these orange leopard jeans and I end up in a size f’n 30 and STILL can’t sausage into them and when I finally paint them on I get the tight crotch that don’t accommodate my thighs BUT they did leave room, however, for my nonexistent peep. I mean, a whole 3 inches of dead air, cause I have woman’s hips and not a peep to put in there and I have a purse and wallet so I don’t need that much space in my crotch to keep my keys and my lipstick, ok?! and then the a ten foot crotch that is most unflattering, it’s longer than my torso rise, making me look like Ed Grimley, not to mention the muffin edges I get on the very top of these jeans, no. Just no. How can you name yourself “mother” when it’s for tween boys and some women with no hips?
This is Ed Grimley. (See below)
No. I’m now forever calling mother jeans, “tiny hipped, no ass, long crotch, man jeans and yes, Asian men do fit that bill, so call me a racist if you will but I’m not one so go scratch with that! Cause one time I saw a literal Asian man in drag modeling a pair of jeans (full disclosure: may not have been mother jeans) as if i wouldn’t notice!
So, am I still trying to lose weight? Always and No! And I shouldn’t have to! Their job is to make bigger sizes so I can fit my bigger self inside the pants to clothe me! And yes I do try to be healthy even though I don’t have to justify my weight to anyone, but a lot of times I fluctuate in weight like a lot of other human beings. The fact that I usually wear a size 6 bottoms, and 28 inch jeans this is unacceptable. What about ladies who are bigger than me? Should we wear a tarp, or sew two pairs of your jeans together to make a Normal cut for my ass?! No! Ain’t nobody got time for that!
So ladies, if you have any kind of curves like me, steer waaaaaaaaayyyy clear of the mother brand. And if you are shaped like them, then they’ll be perfect. I’m pissed, cause I now have to find another brand, and since I’m not in the know, I have to look online for a new brand, and I hate that. Pft! Caca fitting jeans! I’m sticking to leggings until I figure out a better brand to invest in.

The Ever-Evolving World of Fashion: A Look at Trends, Sustainability, and Individual Expression
Fashion is leather jacket men more than just clothing; it’s an ever-evolving form of self-expression, cultural storytelling, and a reflection of societal trends and movements. For centuries, fashion has served as a means of communicating one's personality, status, and values. It continuously evolves, influenced by a range of factors including technology, the environment, political climates, and the collective desires of individuals and communities. As a dynamic art form, fashion reflects both the present and anticipates the future.
The Intersection of Fashion and Identity
One of fashion's most powerful roles is its ability to express identity. From everyday outfits to red carpet ensembles, brown color leather jacket clothing allows individuals to communicate who they are without uttering a word. Whether through style choices, colors, or accessories, fashion provides a platform for people to showcase their creativity, personality, and cultural heritage.
For many, fashion serves as a tool for empowerment and self-confidence. A well-chosen outfit can evoke feelings of strength, elegance, or uniqueness. On the flip side, what people wear can also be shaped by social expectations and pressures. The clothing we choose often reflects how we wish to be perceived or, at times, how we want to fit into societal norms.
Fashion has also become a significant space for gender and sexual identity expression. In recent years, more individuals have embraced non-binary and gender-fluid styles, breaking traditional norms. Designers have responded to these changes, creating collections that transcend conventional gender categories. This shift toward inclusivity is a testament to fashion's ability to adapt and give voice to diverse communities.
Fashion as a Cultural Commentary
Fashion also plays an important role in documenting and commenting on cultural shifts. Throughout history, styles have been associated with various movements or political causes. For example, the flapper dresses of the 1920s reflected the era's shift toward women's independence and rebellion against Victorian standards. In the 1960s and 1970s, bell-bottom jeans and tie-dye shirts became symbols of youth counterculture, anti-establishment sentiment, and the fight for civil rights.
Today, fashion is increasingly intertwined with activism. Designers and brands are increasingly adopting ethical practices, from sustainable fabrics to promoting diversity on runways. Consumers are more conscientious of where their clothing comes from and who is producing it, demanding transparency and better working conditions. Fashion brands that prioritize sustainability and social responsibility are becoming more popular, with eco-conscious clothing lines and second-hand shopping gaining momentum.
Fashion and Technology: A Marriage of Innovation
The rise of technology has drastically changed the fashion industry. From artificial intelligence (AI) and 3D printing to virtual fashion shows and digital influencers, the possibilities for innovation are endless. Fashion houses are embracing new technologies to enhance creativity and efficiency in production, as well as how they interact with customers.
One of the most notable shifts in fashion is the integration of virtual and augmented reality. Digital fashion has gained significant attention, with designers now creating clothes for avatars in virtual worlds or for photoshoots. This new frontier opens up creative possibilities, allowing designers to experiment in ways that were once unimaginable.
Additionally, technology is changing the way fashion is produced. Sustainable fashion is benefiting from advancements in fabric technology, which has led to the development of materials that are both eco-friendly and durable. Innovations in manufacturing, such as 3D knitting and printing, are also reducing waste and energy consumption.
The Global Influence of Fashion
Fashion is a universal language that transcends geographic boundaries. What’s worn in Milan, Paris, New York, or Tokyo influences what’s seen on runways, in stores, and on the streets of cities around the world. However, fashion today is no longer driven solely by these fashion capitals. Social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest have democratized fashion, allowing people from different corners of the world to set trends and influence global style.
Moreover, the global exchange of fashion ideas is more pronounced than ever. Designers are drawing inspiration from diverse cultures, merging traditional elements with modern aesthetics. The rise of streetwear, a style born in urban subcultures, is an example of how fashion can be shaped by global influences, incorporating elements from hip-hop, skateboarding, and high fashion to create a unique, cross-cultural fusion.
Conclusion
Fashion is a powerful form of art, self-expression, and cultural dialogue. It adapts to the times, responding to technological advancements, societal shifts, and political movements. While it serves as a medium for individual identity and creativity, it also carries collective significance, documenting the spirit of each era. As it continues to evolve, fashion will undoubtedly remain a mirror of society, telling the stories of our lives, values, and aspirations. Whether it's through a sustainable outfit, a bold statement, or a futuristic design, fashion will continue to captivate and inspire us for generations to come.

Sketch Your Designs: Create initial sketches of your baggy jeans. Pay attention to details like pocket placement, stitching patterns, and any unique features you want to include.
Create Prototypes: Develop prototypes to test the fit and look of your designs. Make adjustments as necessary to ensure the perfect fit.
Sourcing Materials and Manufacturers
