Info:
Tymee started her career in early 2003 with the release of her first self titled demo, NAPPER. Less than two years later she released another self titled demo, N★PPER, this time around she became well known underground for her fast raps and lyrics.
Many of E.Via’s songs got banned. Controversy erupted when "Oppa! na Haedodwae?" was banned from being performed on Music Bank due to the lyrics of the song containing lascivious content and various slang words. She was later banned from performing any of her songs from her debut album on other music programs due to the lyrics being deemed suggestive and provocative. The music video for “Shake” also caused controversy and was deemed provocative, showing women shaking their butts. Like her previous lead single, she was banned performing this song as well. E.Via was banned to perform yet another song in 2010, for “Michin Inyeon” music video including blood and nudity.
On January 5, 2013, Tymee announced she had left Dline Art Media and that she changed her stage name from E.via to Tymee. In her statement she said that she was in a similar situation as boy group Block B (who were suing their former label, Stardom Entertainment, at the time for inadequate compensation).
Tymee took part in Show Me The Money season 3, but got eliminated on the second round. In 2015 Tymee took part in Unpretty Rapstar season 1. The main focus of her in the show was in her and Jolly V’s relationship. The start of their arguments was “Diss war” that escalated in Show Me The Money and climaxed during Unpretty Rapstar. After Unpretty Rapstar the girls talked about they relationship in a interview and said that they are okay now. They even exchanged numbers and decided to keep in touch from time to time. Tymee was eliminated from Unpretty Rapstar in episode 6.
