DAY6 have made history achieving their first Real Time All Kill with 'Melt Down', charting #1 across MelOn, Genie, Flo, and Bugs!. It's the first boy group song of 2024 to achieve it, as well as the first JYP group this year. In addition, this is also the first band this decade to achieve this, and it currently joins IU's 'Love Wins All' in achieving such within 24 hours of release this year. Congrats to our boys!! i love reading the official pitch and promotion stuff dropped for hesalien its so awkward esp the pitch for the logo/ident. Reading how gerard communicates the ckncepts within the actual system to higher ups is so interesting. explaining the profitability of good art.

Trash Theory made a fantastic video recently about the creation of Peter Gabriel's third self-titled album, commonly referred to by fans as Melt

Quite well-researched in how the tech used and the inspirations from other artists/music genres molded the many different sounds and moods of the record, as well as how it ended up influencing the overall sound of rock throughout the 1980's

Melt is one of my favorite albums of all-time due to how genre-bending it's overall sound is as well as the razor-sharp social commentary of the lyrics. Even if you're not familiar with Peter Gabriel or his work I highly recommend checking it out, as I think everyone deserves to learn about this masterpiece of an album!
