So, All Might can get a mecha suit, copying all his students quirks, provided to him in under a year (really a couple weeks max). However, Izuku needs to wait eight years to get a prototype and work to provide more data.

Seriously, what's the process of Izuku's mecha suit? Not every villain is gonna be the "demon lord," he could've gotten something simpler way before his second year.

Assuming that all might put in the request for that mecha suit after he retired then it would only be 6 months or less at most for that suit to be created and made. Also, while it was stated that the suit wasn't steady it was very much strong enough to tank multiple of AFO's hits and it had the ability for 30+ quirks which is insanely strong and powerful.

Also can we talk about how insanely better all mights mecha suit looks compared to izuku's?!!!! Iam not sure why but honestly I love all mights suit it looks so much better and is overall much more better than Izuku's one that took eight years to make.

Like you said it's rare for villains as strong as AFO to come around so izuku didn't need an unstoppable suit and also it's a shame we don't see izuku being involved in the process of making the suit especially because we do get a tiny glimpse of him and Melissa interacting in the last chapter during Izuku's second or third year at ua.

Lastly, I want to bring up the fact that all mights suit was probably inspired from David's own discovery and his quirk amplification device which helped Melissa create the all might mech suit (she is so underrated for that) and then she worked with mei to create Izuku's suit but they should of technically gotten it at a much more earlier time unless it was the financial aspect they were worried about. However, that doesn't make sense because all might managed to buy and afford his suit by himself but Izuku's took all might and all of 1A? (How is Izuku's suit different to all might in anyway?)

Character opinion bingo -> Melissa Shield?

Melissa is cool!

I think had horikoshi had an original plan in mind for her, her character would have really shined.

Through her character, you could have had someone who parallels mei, izuku and through her, we could also explore how quirkless discrimination could work and Melissa's own goals after her father is arrested for illegal activities.

Facts. These two are in my top 5 favourite TV shows. It's been ages, and I still love watching Melissa and Joey.

Actually I wanted to make a post since I was rewatching it.......Joe Longo has anger issues. Its been made clear.

What I absolutely love about it is that Melissa is never worried about her safety or the safety of her kids. Like this strange buff guy lives in your house, looks after your kids and yes, his issues have issues. But they ARE a family. He is the uncle/dad these kids need.

That king of trust is rare. That kind of MAN is rare.

Talking about the episode where he finds out his daughter went on a date that Mel (they're married at this point) knew about it and didn't tell him.

She even tells him of how extreme his anger is (he didnt realize.. so much that his mother was worried about telling him Santa wasn't real) And she follows that up with saying she loves him, even the intense angry parts.

She's nervous, but she knows he won't hurt her. One of the best couples on TV. And highly underrated.

Favorite Kara hero outfits?

i love all of her pre-crisis costumes but i'm a big fan of these three in particular:

i love when her costumes are more cute/fashionable rather than strictly practical tbh ! really love the ballet slippers on the first one <3 and the third outfit is probably my favorite supergirl costume of all time (love how dan mora draws it in worlds finest).

her more modern fits have been pretty lame but i do really like these two:

i think these are the best renditions of her more classic uniforms. i used to hate her big ass belt in the second pic but it's grown on me over the years ! and her blue skirt look is really underrated imo.

aside from those i think these unused suit concepts are fun:

usually not a fan of the crop top look for kara (just bc of how terribly it had been drawn in the 2000s) but i actually really like this version of it. it'd be fun to see it in jamal igle's art style since he managed to draw kara's other crop top/skirt costume in a way that didn't make me hate it. and i've said this before but i think kara's new 52 series would've been so much more well received had she been wearing the suit on the right. really crazy to me that whoever was in charge chose the bathing suit look over this one.

and for live action i really love helen slater and sasha calle's supergirl costumes:

HUGE fan of the cloth costumes in older superhero movies, i think they look far better than the bulky desaturated costumes they make for modern superhero films tbh ! but i also think sasha suit was super cute <3 if i didn't hate the floppy knee pad boots on melissa benoist's supergirl costume i'd put her here too, but alas !
