Tinted my own brows on Friday, today my skin was so depleted that I used my free time in class to give myself a little light acid facial.
Most of what I used today was from Rhonda Allison, and some of what I used is professional grade only so you can’t really get them for home use.
I used the Creamy Milk Cleanser to start with, and the Maui Cleanser for my second. I love the Milk Cleanser, and wanted to see how my sensitive skin would handle the Maui Cleanser since it’s still within the sensitive skin range of products. I actually really liked it! It smelled like a tiki bar (yum). I did feel really dried out and tight after cleansing, but that had more to do with how depleted my barrier was today since I didn’t do a hydrating mask this weekend.
I also wanted to see how my skin would take the Mint Papaya Enzyme since it’s just one step more intense than what I normally use, and it kinda smelled like Vicks. The spa protocol I based my facial on today uses a dermabrasion before the enzyme, but since I was trying out 2 products that were a little more intense than usual for me I felt like it would have been too much. I used an LED light wand here as well to boost my redness control.
For my toner I went with the Mandelic Defense Lotion for hydration and antioxidant support.
For my serums I used the Sensitive Skin Complex, Therapy E, and Amino Peptide Serum. Since my skin was so fragile today I went with all healing boosters, but I was still stinging a fair amount. Nothing I used today after the enzyme should have even tingled at all, which means my barrier is really damaged. I probably shouldn’t have even used an enzyme at all tbh.
For my recovery mask I used the 12 Flower Mask, which I just love because it’s fairly hydrating and has great antioxidant support. It’s one of my go-to’s for everyone since it’s also gentle enough for the most sensitive or traumatized skin. I also used some chilled ice globes for some cool therapy to further combat my chronic redness and calm my skin down before putting any acids.
For my acids I used the Cell Conditioner for some intense healing boost, and Melanin Suppressant for scar reduction. I’m recovering from some hormonal acne and I don’t want them to take forever to heal and then end up scarring bright pink. These professional use only products are gentle enough to be left on the skin and typically shouldn’t cause any redness on their own. They only did on me because I have rosacea and an impaired barrier, but even then most of my visible redness was more from the walk home than anything else.
After giving myself another dose of the same serums as before, I used Dermalogica’s Barrier Repair moisturizer to lock everything in. It’s a professional use only silicone based product from their UltraCalming line, and I really wish it was available on the retail side since it’s so good for chronically traumatized skin like mine. It feels like nothing, lasts pretty much all day, and leaves a lovely matte finish.
SPF is a *must* everyday, but it’s *especially* important when using brightening products like a Melanin Suppressant. Brightening products across the board make your skin more sun sensitive, so you really do have to be on top of your sun protection when you use them or else risk burning even more than usual and making your pigmentation worse. I went with the class favorite, Dermalogica’s Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 50 from their Age Smart line.
All in all, the goal of this facial was to really boost my healing and scar prevention to repair my barrier and keep those post acne spots healing correctly. I want to do a more intense acid treatment next week, but if my skin stays fragile like this then I’ll just have to do something lighter again.

I want to give a shout out to the resource of melanin. Not enough conversation and studies are being done on the vital power of melanin, a power that has been mostly suppressed and hidden by dominant culture. It is part of my responsibility to make sure that I live in this highly-melanated body to the fullest, to not take any drop of melanin for granted, to spend as much time as I can in the warmest sun, and begin to speak more on the beauty and wisdom of melanin. Melanin literally absorbs sunlight, a cosmic frequency, as oppose to reject it and become inflamed and infected as a result. Pause. This is huge because it means that the more melanin your body holds, the more light your body carries, and the stronger and more regenerative it is. When harnessed appropriately through opening your heart and limiting how much sugar, seed oils, and processed an packaged foods you ingest and become fueled by, you naturally have more awareness and sight, a higher overview of consciousness. And none of this is about "race." It is about light. It is about divine energy. It is about biology. It is what is real and true yet suppressed and hidden. -India Ame'ye, Author

Can Saratoans have 'magical albinism'? Meaning could their magic related bright colors not show and instead its the natural colors underneath? And if yes could they have tempurature sensitive albinism like Siamese cats (Because I think thatd look cool as heck)? It probably wouldn't be called albinism since thats a lack of melanin but I'm not smart enough to come up with a word meaning 'lacks magic pigment'.
It's rare but amagicism depigmentation can happen as a result of a medication side effect - if a Saratoan takes magic suppressant medication during early pregnancy (when they likely have no idea they are pregnant, before the fetus transfers to the pouch) the fetus can have their magic pigmentation permanently turned off. The mother's own pigment pops back into place after the course of medication ends, so it's only the child who comes out looking this way, due to interference in transference of the spell information
These individuals tend to have reduced venom potency, fewer sets of teeth (sometimes only getting one set of adult teeth for the rest of their lives like most mammals) and shorter lifespans (compared to the rest of their species, still quite a respectable span in human terms)
Temperature sensitive is a no though - color points are possible but generally the colors are bright or one of them is (it's the only time I consider it valid for them to have gradients - Hyssop has color points on his arms and legs for example)

Splatoon oc shiz again~
Just putting it out here, all of my OCs are off different sub species of inklings/octolings inspired by real species!
Gyaru and Ane
The sisters are of a firefly squid x spear squid mix. They do in fact have glow marks only visible at night as well as having more pointy longer and narrower ears than a normal inkling would.
Their squid form looks normal…except the fact that their mantles are elongated making them look larger and narrower than standard.
Juuni
He’s an albino california two-spot octopus. While it is visible that he’s albino with his eye mask being white due to lack of melanin, the two spots are located on his upper back as tattoos shaped like eyes.
His octopus form is also pretty normal, only thing that’s different is that he’s pretty much white and the spots are visible on each side of his head.
Tag
He’s a coconut octopus. His tentacles are relatively curly, even his sideburns are curled up. Though he’s currently rocking the dreadlocks so you don’t get to see his curly tentacles in full glory :(
BUT, his octopus form does show his curly tentacles in full glory so that’s a plus!
Natsu
He’s a blue-ringed octopus. The tip of his tentacles have a slight blu-ish tint to it, along with a more blu-ish tint on the rings/spots on the tentacles.
However when aggressive, Natsu’s tentacles take on a more bright and vibrant blue, his iris will take be visible from a white/transparent to a blue-to-yellow gradient.
His fingertips will also have a blue gradient to it with faint blue veins running through his arms and neck. Not to worry though, Natsu’s relatively docile even though his ass is supposed to eat his damn mandatory suppressing medication that neutralises his venom in his saliva and weakening his muscles and aggressive thoughts
(A HC of mine where species of a venomous and/or aggressive nature are given mandatory suppressants to protect the rest of the citizens of the Splatoon world)
Natsu’s octopus form would just be the standard octo aquatic form but with blue tints to his tentacles and rings.
(WOW THAT IS A LOT OF THE WORD “BLUE” )
Ryōmen and his brothers
Ever wonder why the Yakumans are so fucking huge when you saw the height chart on my other posts? Well here’s your answer: they’re Humbolt squids.
Other than the massive size, they have razor sharp teeth as well as small tiny teeth inside of their suction cups.
Like Natsu, they were supposed to eat medication but them running a family-owned gang and them curating a hidden black market where other Inkopolis citizens can eat…y’know—“premium” fish/squid/octopus meat means that the brothers clearly did not even touch even one pill.
As humbolts, they do in fact eat those “premium” meat and even occasionally meat of other humboldt inklings, in order to maintain their body strength.
(HC part 2, difference between the suppressants venomous species eat vs the ones aggressive/strong species eat is: VS suppressants mainly neutralise the venom mostly and AS suppressants are drowsy and weaken the muscles greatly.)
Their squid form is your standard squid form but WAY bigger, but smaller than kraken size and their suction cups still have those teeth.
Enperry and Emin
They’re both completely the same as Gyaru & Ane.
And if you guys haven’t noticed it yet, the Maguro sisters are in fact the same people as the Kumonryu brothers. They’re just crossdressing as male idols to hide their identity for safety purposes.
Gyaru=Enperry
Emin=Ane
That’s all the OC notes I have (for now), thanks so much if you read all of it <333

The evolution of elves and their characteristics
Originally, all humans had brown eyes. Around 10,000 years ago, a genetic mutation affecting one gene turned off the ability to produce enough melanin to colour eyes brown causing blue eyes. Since blue eyes have survived throughout many generations, researchers think there may have been some evolutionary benefit, though the exact reason is unknown.
At some point in time humans continued evolving further into elves and the mutation that caused blue eyes was the first sign. Since they still looked like humans and didn’t have abilities, they continued to have kids with humans (which over time caused blue eyed humans). However, as the elves started to have kids with each other, they evolved further. Slowly they began prolonging their life span, bit by bit, before reaching “immortality” a few hundred years later. In the meantime, the first signs of body temperature regulation and darkness vision made an appearance, and, with time, the rest of the skills that have to do with survival (breath control & appetite suppression) were fully developed as well.
Skills were developed before abilities, at least the ones that are slightly more “natural” as skills aren’t as complex and were helpful for surviving in the early stages of evolution. Blinking was the last skill to develop. Telekinesis, levitation, brain push and outward channelling came before it. With telekinesis their minds become stronger, allowing brain pushes to evolve and levitating to be introduced due to the ability of being able to use telekinesis to lift yourself. With brain push and telekinesis fully developed outwards channelling was eventually able to form. I think that blinking evolved from light leaping which was developing alongside their skills.
People with blue or light eyes tend to be more sensitive to light. This is because blue eyes, especially light blue eyes, have less pigment in the iris, making them more translucent. This can cause blue-eyed people to be more susceptible to glare and sunlight, leading to light sensitivity. I think this is why it's easier for eleves to light leap than humans, their eyes are more sensitive to light, due to thousands of years of developing specific melanin in it. This makes their bodies able to break down easier and is also why Sophie struggled when practising light leaping with Grady in book one, her eyes aren’t as sensitive to light due to the amount of melatonin in her irises.
When light leaping was first discovered an elf was resting under a beam of light that had been refracted by a giant salt crystal and faded away. At the time nobody knew what happened and were simply confused. This happened more frequently as their eyes continued to develop since the percentage of blue allele increased due to the lack of brown eyes. If the elves would sleep on a rocky beach or linger too long in a geode cave the light would take them away.
The first elf to survive a light leap did so by realising that his particles were leaving him and used his telekinesis to pull them back, holding himself together. He eventually found himself fully reformed and alive, and when the other elves found him—surprised he wasn’t dead by this mysterious sickness that kept appearing—he explained what had happened.
They began to experiment with light leaping, coming to the realisation that it a) takes you from point A to point b and that b) depending on how the light shines through the crystal, it takes you to different places (prompting the creation of leaping crystals). All of this (as I said previously) helped blinking to be created from which vanishing eventually sparked.
The order of which I think the abilties were created are as following:
Shade - I think that this was the first to develop due to darkness vision being introduced so early on. It was the only ability to develop whilst their skills were however it wasn’t seen as an ability until others started showing. The elves just assumed that some people were better with shadows due to more practice with darkness vision.
Element based abilities (froster, pyrokinetics ect.) - Elves weee pretty close with nature in early stages of devlopment which helped create element based abilities along with the help of their skills. Telekinesis was beneficial due to the way it could manipulate the elements and was able to draw the elements to the elves. Pyrokinetics was brought to light by the help of telekinesis (same reason) and body temperature regulation. (Technically Shade is an element based ability but it was developed way earlier so I gave it its own category.) Frosters were developed later when the elves discovered snowy biomes, elves with hydrokinetics learned how to manipulate the water in snow.
Inflicting (maybe slight tw(?) a bit unsettling) - Inflicting sparked from brain pushes and outwards channeling, and it consisted of being able to concentrate a large amount of your mental energy on a living being and inflict pain using outward channelling. At first inflicting was (even more) brutal, it consisted of keeping someone in a constant state of almost exploding using outwards channeling, causing actual physical pain instead of an illusion as it does now. Inflicting was further developed when telepathy was introduced, making the pain completely physiological instead of physical.
Polygot
Empathy
Mesmerising
Vanishing - Seen first in elves who could blink over longer periods of time, was typically found in an elf with lighter blue eyes due to their eyes being more sensitive to light than ones with dark blue but grew to be found in all shades of blue with time.
Phasing - Around the same time as vanishers, while they couldn’t disappear for long periods of time, blinking and telekinesis helped phasers be better at letting their particles fade while remain in control of them, causing them to be able to phase through objects.
Flashers - Another element based one which was developed separate from the others. Was first introduced after light leaping with the help of vanishing. Instead of letting the light pass through their body flashers we’re able to “trap it” and manipulate it.
Telepathy - A little later on due to the sheer complexity, was actually a genetic mutation in which telekinesis was altered so that instead of moving things with only your mind, you were now able to hear things with only your mind.
Vociferators
Beguiling
Conjuring
Technopathy
Enhancing
Descrying - given
Teleporting - given
If any of these don’t make sense/you want a more in depth description then send me an ask. I didn’t write reasons for some of them bc they were either quite repetitive or to complicated and probably need a post dedicated just for them on their own.
An important thing to note is that the laws of genetics state that eye colour is inherited as follows:
If both parents have blue eyes, the children will have blue eyes.
The brown eye form of the eye colour gene (also known as allele) is dominant, whereas the blue eye allele is recessive.
If both parents have brown eyes yet carry the allele for blue eyes, a quarter of the children will have blue eyes, and three quarters will have brown eyes.
Also: If a child that is born to two blue-eyed parents doesn’t have blue eyes, then the blue-eyed father is not the biological father.

LoZ - Are Gerudo Failed Colonizers?
Wait... If my hc is correct & the Gerudo aren't actually from Hyrule, then wouldn't that make the Ganondorfs, all 3 in fact, technically colonizers?? O_O
Like, yeah, the Zonai came to Hyrule too & are thus foreigners as well & Rauru becomes their king, but the difference here is that there were only 2 ½ Zonai left (because otherwise, how tf does Zelda even exist) &, by all accounts, they never seem to suppress the native culture... We also don't know if they even took Hyrule by force!
Compare that to when OoT Ganondorf takes over Hyrule, he absolutely decimates Castle Town & leaves it in ruins. He lays claim to the Hylians' homes. Undead corpses litering the streets.
And one definition is "(of a nation or government) to claim and forcibly take control of (a territory other than its own), usually by sending some of its own people to settle there."
Is that not exactly what Ganondorf has always intended to do? Hasn't that been his goal from day 1??
Why do I see practically no one talking about this!?
Like, even if you think he was justified, that's basically saying that he was justified in stealing others' land.
And even if you try to stretch the definition
This bears looking into...
Something else I noticed... Everyone who insists that Ganondorf was justified seem to have a running theme of associating the Gerudo with SWANA & the Hylians with white Europeans. And that's... honestly a very shallow perspective. Like, you see a darker-skinned people & a lighter-skinned people & your automatic reaction is that the light-skinned ones are obviously in the wrong??
Hell! The Hylians in the ancient past of TotK weren't even that light-skinned!!
The thing is, while the cultures of these races have some obvious parallels & inspirations to IRL cultures, they are still almost entirely independent of the real world. They aren't going to have the same history & influences & relationships with others as IRL. And, honestly, you really shouldn't expect fantasy cultures in games to be the exact same as in real life.
The bottom line is that the Gerudo may look SWANA, but they actually aren't.
They are Gerudo, which may have SWANA themeing, but are actually their own thing inspired by their real-world equivalent. The same is true of Hylians.
For one, as far as we've seen, the Gerudo were never enslaved by the Hylians. For another, unless stated otherwise, the Hylians are actually native to Hyrule. While it's true that they were taken up to the sky for a time, it's also said that they lived on the Surface beforehand. And the only reference to the Gerudo we see in SS is the Gerudo Dragonfly. The desert being inhabited instead by little robots.
And... honestly, depending on just how realistic you're willing to go with this... The fact that they have the level of melanin that they do suggests that they've been living in areas of high uv for at least 10,000 years. Even by the point of OoT.
And, due to living in a pre-modern era, even if they were to be relocated into the northern parts of Hyrule, regardless of their predominant genetics, because of this, not only would their children be more likely to develop rickets, they'd slowly begin to lose that melanin over the generations due to having a difficult time producing their own Vitamin D in low light. Meaning that each subsequent generation would begin to select genetics corresponding to lighter skintones until they'd be no darker than most of the rest of the non-Gerudo residents of Hyrule.
Just homogenization.
And, I just very much doubt that Hyrule has developed Vitamin D Supplements yet.
Though, they'd likely be able to maintain that tone better in southern Hyrule. I mean, look at Lurelin.
Which, actually... That could allow for a more Hindi branch of Gerudo... I love sarees!
I think I'm gonna invent a new Gerudo settlement in Faron Jungle. 😀 I'm thinking around where Damel Forest is & possibly giving them a temple or shrine on Kamah Plateau. I'm imagining a grand staircase carved along the clifface itself leading up to it. And... I'm kinda tempted to add a reference to Holi to my Festivals & Holidays list...
Then there's the fact that after OoT in the Child Timeline, the Gerudo were simply exiled from Hyrule to the southwest for Ganondorf's deeds rather than genocided. And they seemed fine interacting with Hylians, which wouldn't make sense if such were attempted.
Now, I'm not about to deny that Hyrule did horrible things. For one, they desecrated a Gerudo holy site. And most likely a number of Gerudo were, in fact, tortured & executed there. However, if it were an outright attempt at genocide, then you'd think there'd be at least some warriness regarding Hylians, yet there really doesn't seem to be in FSA.
So, the only explanation I can really find is that the Royal Family never intended to exterminate all the Gerudo & only took those who remained loyal to Ganondorf (you know, because he killed a forest spirit in an attempt to steal a significant relic pertaining to another kingdom's religious/cultural identity; which is a freaking war crime).
Admittedly, the exile was a bit much. Or I assume they were exiled. If not, then why so far away now? Was it self-exile? I mean... it would make sense... the Gerudo have shown themselves to take Ganondorf's treachery very personally. "Our responsibility..." It's possible that they left in shame... well, that's sad...
Though, if so, it was probably for the best that they stayed away as long as they did... I mean, think about it. Gdorf's attempt likely resulted in escalated hostilities from the Hylians. Which, regardless of why the men were so fearful of them in Castle Town to begin with, Hyrulean attitudes towards them most likely DID NOT improve regardless of whether a specific Gerudo were actually a supporter or not.
Because that's just how people are sometimes. It's dumb, but that's the way of it.
And, while they weren't not thriving. They seemed to be happy & they appeared to get along with their Zuna buddies pretty well.
And they didn't really seem to be thieves anymore, which... Now that I think about it... this only seemed... to be the case whenever... Ganondorf... was... in charge...
...
O.o
I... I think I just realized something that would get me a lot of hate from Gdorf Apologists... 😰
---
A-anyway, if my thoughts are true, then this could actually be a very interesting twist!
And, while Hylians do have a lot in common with Germanic & Arthurian English culture. It's mostly based off a trope revolving around the European fairytales!
Ya know, the knight in shining armor comes to save the princess. That's always been the basis behind the game.
Even more than that, the game series itself is made from an Eastern perspective, by the Japanese. Meaning that the game more readily has a Japanese lense over it rather than a Western one.

Okay, fine. 27% of sunscreen on 2022 was found to contain the carcinogen Benzene. Sunscreen is also being investigated to cause hair loss, while UVB radiation has been shown to stimulate hair follicles. Vitamin D is essential for non-muscular soft tissue repair. 80% of Covid patients had low vitamin D and of those who developed metabolic conditions because of it, 90% had vitamin D. Vitamin D has also been found to increase immunity to the flu. UV exposure has been found to treat abnormal skin conditions like psoriasis and dermatitis regardless of vitamin D levels. UV also lowers blood pressure, kills microorganisms, and serves as a neurotransmitter, which can reduce symptoms of mental illness and help manage fibromyalgia. Recent studies are finding that lack of sunlight exposure in children causes irregular cornea shaping and exposure to sunlight without UV blocking can improve standard vision (the 20/20 number) and also reduce astigmatism. UV is being studied in its ability to suppress autoimmune conditions, and it's been shown to increase antioxidant responses. Wearing sunglasses actually makes you more likely to burn because your eyes send signals to your skin to increase melanin production and heat sensitivity when UV production is higher.
Human beings evolved to not only tolerate but benefit from the sun! It is our friend!
be pro-aging but wear sun screen. sun protection is not beauty industry propaganda it will save you. wear it. or else.

Neuromelanin-Sensitive MRI Identified as a Potential Biomarker for Psychosis - National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH)
Have you ever wondered why people who call themselves white are often paranoid and dangerous? This is because they lack melanin in the brain along with depigmentation of the skin. The last thing that people should listen to are people who are depigmented.
These are the most brain damaged humans on earth. It pains me greatly to witness that most of the world population follows the narratives of the dumbest mother fucking people on earth. Education doesn't make you more clever than anyone else because this could be associated with indoctrination and programming based on the beliefs of a dominant group.
Banning certain books and trying to suppress history is a good indicator that someone is trying to cover up something that they hope you don't recognize in reality. You have to have a shitty history when you are trying to hide it from the rest of the world.
Almost everything that these stupid ass people believe in, is often proven wrong and inaccurate. We can examine many things that most people believe in and we can see that this doesn't match the natural ways of our world.
You can either live under the influence and control of the inbreds and ignorant people or we can embrace the natural history of our Black African History? The choice is solely on you.

Low cost no dead corners full white
To the immediate conclusion, 99% of the whitening body creams on the market will not make you truly change your skin color
Now there is no need to say cheap body milk on the market, even the big name whitening body milk is also going to fool the way, put a little niacinamide and vc began to sell high prices, in fact, these things are all whitening accessories, and whitening has not much to do with.
Niacinamide can only inhibit melanin transfer, and stop using anti-black will not become more white, the effect of niacinamide alone is very poor, prototype VC tens of dollars a kilogram of transdermality into a mystery, esterified VC expensive death plus 1% are these companies have a conscience, you think about a bottle of body milk capacity is almost ten times the essence, In the same way, the cost of adding enough whitening ingredients to you is also ten times that of whitening essence, do you think capital will do charity?
lubriderm body milk efficacy ingredients are listed behind preservatives and add A bunch of junk grease, these net celebrities boast that A alcohol is the lowest conversion rate of palmitate, fruit acid is ranked at the end of the citric acid, want to rely on this stuff to whiten the basic is a eunucher meeting, no chicken talk.
The fire of the whole network of the Kanil whitening body milk, the network red blew it to the sky, said that there are 377 inside, in fact, even half of the ingredients are not whitening, equivalent to coating a psychological comfort
olay whitening body milk I also said many times, the difference between this thing and olay whitening essence is a Hua Fei a summer, winter and spring, you can appreciate the body milk a zhang red, the active substance is only niacinamide and less poor AA2G, it is a jin to sell dozens of pieces of things
In addition to a few body creams of cosmeceutical brands, 99% of the other whitening body creams on the market are actually whitening essence diluted dozens of times, and even those whitening body creams that can be seen are not full channel, and really want full channel whitening without dead corners need to learn to match
Resistant skin for a quick whitening can try the following formula
Morning: VC+ resorcinol + tetrahydrocurcumin + sunscreen
Evening: Fruit acid + resorcinol +SymSitive1609
If you add VC inside the body milk must be a very low concentration of VC derivatives, because VC water decomposition can not be stored on the shelf for a long time, VC derivative material body cost is very high 99% of the body milk can not be sufficient to add, it is recommended to buy VCIP raw materials directly into the body milk a kilogram 5000 pieces 50 grams only 500, Mix 1:5 in a body lotion to make it look good. Then combine it with an resorcinol whitening serum like purid Light, mix it into this hand cream (0.5% tetrahydrocurcumin) and rub it all over your body. Finish with a layer of sunscreen
In the evening, I will apply the whitening essence and the ordinary powder bottle soothing essence TO the whole body, and add 1609 in the powder bottle to block nerves and inhibit tingling sensitivity. If the body lotion is not strong enough, I can replace it with fruit acid body lotion to maximize the effect. It is recommended not to add arbutin easily reacts with acid to form hydroquinone
This product idea comes from triple therapy, belongs to the clinical level of whitening means, the principle is actually to rely on acid stripping + phlorcinol inhibit tyrosinase block melanin production, coupled with anti-fire soothing raw materials to assist the suppression of skin anti-black, directly press the melanin factory for 28 days to white two colors is not a problem, but this combination belongs to sensitive muscles do not touch the strong medicine, Sensitive and brittle skin with no problem to death, and this combination can not be used for more than a month, after the white with the basic moisturizing repair body lotion + sunscreen maintenance

#netherlands has automatic registration but no compulsory voting so it isn't even an automatic ''slippery slope''#please just start with the automatic registration first and see how that goes#(and yes force the goverment to make it easier to vote in other ways as well
Yeah, this. I feel like it would be totally on-brand for the US to somehow manage to have both compulsory voting and voter suppression--like, you (hypothetical you, probably a resident of a voting district with more melanin than money) have to pick between missing work to stand in a voting line all day, or being fined $50 (which could potentially escalate up to jail time if you can't pay the initial fine because you got fired for missing work to stand in line for several hours, but then had to leave the line because you were about to pass out from dehydration and/or you had to pee, and now you're racking up late fees to the tune of hundreds of dollars, and you have to either miss work again to go to court about it, or be charged with contempt of court, etc., etc. This is a real thing that already happens in the US, where people end up being sent to jail over inability to pay what started out as a small fine).
I would be very hesitant about compulsory voting in the US unless both our massive voter suppression problem and the growing debtor's prison trend were dealt with first.
BUT! There is a lot of distance between "automatic registration" and "compulsory voting." Plenty of places--such as the Netherlands--have one without the other.
And I can't see a way for the GOP to massively fuck with automatic registration. I'm sure they'd try, but I can't think of any twist they could put on the concept, that would make it worse than the status quo.
For instance, it would be difficult to get/keep people registered if they're unhoused or experiencing housing instability with frequent changes of address--and we can reasonably expect that the Republicans would resist allocating resources toward addressing this need. But that's one segment of the population that already has trouble accessing voter registration. They wouldn't be helped, but they wouldn't be any worse off, and lots of other people would be helped.
So, yeah. I'm not seeing a downside to automatic registration--unless your goal is to suppress the vote.

The Antioxidant Effect of Q10 and Its Application for Heart
Coenzyme Q10 is an activator of cellular respiration and metabolism. It is an important medium for electron transport and oxidation in mitochondria in cells of important organs such as the heart, kidneys and muscles. It also has antioxidant effects and anti-free radical properties. It is being used in clinical practice more and more widely. Here is a summary of its antioxidant effects and recent applications in cardiovascular medicine.
1 Pharmacokinetics
Due to the large molecular weight and poor water solubility of coenzyme Q10, gastrointestinal absorption is slow, and the peak drug concentration reaches 5 to 10 hours (average 6.5 hours) after oral administration. Folkers et al. [1, 2] reported that the mean plasma concentration after oral administration of a single dose of 100 mg coenzyme Q10 was 1.004±0.370 μg/ml; 3 times a day, 100 mg each time, the average steady-state plasma concentration is 5. 4 μg/ml, which is 4 to 7 times that of endogenous coenzyme Q10. After continuous administration for 4 d, the blood concentration can reach 90% of the steady-state concentration.
The drug is slowly metabolized, with a biological half-life of 33.9 ± 5.32 h. The drug is absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and taken up by chylomicrons, binds to very low-density lipoprotein, is mostly stored in the liver, and is mainly excreted via the biliary tract. After long-term use, about 62.5% is excreted in the feces in its original form.
2 Antioxidant Effect of Coenzyme Q10
The antioxidant effect of coenzyme Q10 is increasingly being used in a wide range of clinical applications, and there have been many reports in recent years. In summary, the main effects of coenzyme Q10 as an antioxidant are: (1) increasing the concentration of glutathione in keratinocytes and the antioxidant capacity of skin cells; (2) inhibiting the oxidative effects of cells; ③Inhibits the activity of phosphotyrosine kinase, prevents the formation of melanin and stops the production of dark spots. ④Prevents the destruction of epidermal cell DNA caused by ultraviolet (UVA) radiation and prevents skin cancer.
⑤Reduces the depth of wrinkles and improves dull skin. ⑥Suppresses the activity of collagenase (collagenase mRNA) and promotes collagen production. ⑦Reduces the diameter of corneocytes (corneocytes) and slows down skin aging. ⑧Increases the concentration of hyaluronic acid and improves skin hydration.
3 Coenzyme Q10 in Cardiovascular Medicine
3.1 Effects on Cardiac Function and Blood Rheology
The Coenzyme Q10 Clinical Trial Collaboration Group [3] observed that after two months of treatment with coenzyme Q10 for congestive heart failure (CHF), the ejection fraction increased from 22.6±9.2 before treatment to 37.2±10.1 (P<0.001), and the cardiac index increased from 2.0 4± 0. 32 L/m2 increased to 2. 48± 0. 52 L/m2 ( P <0. 05). Langsjoen et al. [4] reported that after coenzyme Q10 was used in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy and CHF, the ejection fraction significantly improved in 71% of patients within 3 months and in 16% of patients within 3 to 6 months. Zhou Shuncheng et al. [5] observed 44 patients with pulmonary heart disease. After 10 days of treatment with 30 mg of coenzyme Q10 intramuscularly on top of antibiotics, the platelet aggregation function was significantly reduced (P < 0.002–0.001), which is of great significance for improving blood rheology.
3.2 Effect on Blood Lipids, Glucose Metabolism and Serum Electrolytes
Some studies have found that coenzyme Q10 has a significant effect on lowering total cholesterol and lipid peroxides, and significantly increases high-density lipoprotein cholesterol. In diabetic heart disease, fasting blood glucose in most cases decreases compared to before taking the medicine. There is no significant effect on plasma renin activity, blood potassium, blood sodium, etc.
3. 3 Therapeutic Effect on Heart Failure
The treatment of CHF, especially refractory CHF, is still a difficult clinical problem. The poor prognosis of CHF is mainly related to the following factors: low ejection fraction, left ventricular hypertrophy, abnormal hemodynamic status, ventricular arrhythmias, hyponatremia, hypercholesterolemia, and abnormal glucose tolerance. Traditional anti-CHF drugs such as digitalis and diuretics may aggravate the adverse prognostic factors while correcting CHF. Studies have shown that the use of coenzyme Q10 can correct the adverse prognostic factors of CHF and improve the survival rate of patients. Yao Zhenli [6] and others studied the clinical application of coenzyme Q10 to treat refractory heart failure with an efficiency of 89.9%, and the heart shape also regressed to varying degrees.
3.4 Effects on Left Ventricular Hypertrophy and Left Ventricular Dilation
Currently, it is believed that left ventricular hypertrophy is a high risk factor for CHF, sudden death, and other conditions. Long term use of coenzyme Q10 can reverse left ventricular hypertrophy and improve diastolic function in patients with hypertension. The author observed 33 patients with diabetes heart disease who took coenzyme Q10 for 3 months, and the echocardiogram confirmed that the left ventricular diameter changed from 5 13 ± 0.56 cm reduced to 4 87± 0. 34 cm (all P<0 Among them, 3 cases showed significant left ventricular enlargement, and after treatment, the left ventricular diameter returned to the normal range.
4 Conclusion
In conclusion, as an antioxidant and free radical scavenger, Fumei Q10 will be more and more widely used in clinical practice, especially in the cardiovascular field, not only as an effective drug to prevent heart failure but also in the prevention of atherosclerotic diseases.

NUTRIHERBS GLUTATHIONE CAPSULES WITH VITAMIN C, E & GRAPE SEED EXTRACT: THE ULTIMATE SKIN PROTECTION SUPPLEMENT
In today's fast-paced world, our skin faces constant exposure to environmental pollutants, UV rays, and other harmful factors that can accelerate aging, cause pigmentation, and deplete the skin’s natural glow. Taking care of your skin isn't just about topical treatments; it requires nourishment from within. Nutriherbs Glutathione Capsules with Vitamin C, E, and Grape Seed Extract offer a holistic approach to skin health by providing essential nutrients that help combat these threats and promote healthy, radiant skin.
What Makes Nutriherbs Glutathione Capsules Stand Out?
Nutriherbs has created a unique blend that combines the power of Glutathione, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Grape Seed Extract. This dynamic combination not only works to protect your skin from oxidative damage but also improves overall skin texture, tone, and resilience. Let’s break down how each ingredient plays a crucial role in skin health:
1. Glutathione: The Master Antioxidant
Glutathione is often referred to as the "master antioxidant" because of its ability to neutralize free radicals in the body. Free radicals are unstable molecules that cause oxidative stress and damage to cells, leading to premature aging, dark spots, and a dull complexion. Glutathione works at the cellular level to remove these free radicals, rejuvenating the skin and promoting a brighter, more even skin tone.
Not only does it fight oxidative stress, but Glutathione also inhibits the production of melanin, the pigment responsible for skin darkening. This results in a more radiant and even complexion, making it a popular choice for those looking to achieve glowing, youthful skin.
2. Vitamin C: The Brightening Powerhouse
Vitamin C is widely known for its skin-brightening and anti-aging properties. It plays a key role in collagen production, which is essential for maintaining skin elasticity and preventing sagging. Vitamin C also amplifies the effect of Glutathione by further reducing melanin production, helping to fade dark spots and hyperpigmentation.
As a potent antioxidant, Vitamin C helps neutralize the damage caused by UV rays and pollution, protecting the skin from further harm while promoting an even skin tone and a natural glow.
3. Vitamin E: The Skin Protector
Vitamin E is another antioxidant powerhouse that works to protect the skin from environmental stressors. It strengthens the skin’s barrier, retaining moisture and improving hydration levels. By fighting oxidative damage and supporting cell regeneration, Vitamin E helps to keep the skin smooth, soft, and supple. Together with Vitamin C, it enhances the protective effect on the skin, reducing the visible signs of aging such as fine lines and wrinkles.
4. Grape Seed Extract: A Potent Antioxidant Boost
Grape Seed Extract is rich in antioxidants, particularly proanthocyanidins, which are known for their ability to protect cells from oxidative damage. This ingredient works synergistically with Glutathione, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E to prevent free radical damage, strengthen the skin’s elasticity, and enhance collagen production. Additionally, Grape Seed Extract is highly effective in reducing inflammation and improving circulation, which contributes to a more even skin tone and a healthy glow.
Key Benefits of Nutriherbs Glutathione Capsules
Protection Against Oxidative Stress: The combination of Glutathione, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Grape Seed Extract ensures maximum protection from free radicals that cause cellular damage, which can lead to premature aging and pigmentation.
Brightens and Evens Skin Tone: Regular use of this supplement helps lighten dark spots, reduce hyperpigmentation, and promote a more radiant complexion. Glutathione and Vitamin C work together to suppress melanin production, resulting in a brighter, more even skin tone.
Promotes Collagen Production: With ingredients like Vitamin C and Grape Seed Extract, the capsules promote the production of collagen, a protein that is vital for maintaining the skin's firmness and elasticity.
Moisturizes and Protects Skin Barrier: Vitamin E helps lock in moisture and improves the overall health of the skin’s barrier, making it soft, smooth, and less prone to dryness or irritation.
Supports Anti-Aging: By reducing oxidative stress and promoting skin regeneration, this supplement helps to minimize fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging, leaving your skin looking youthful and vibrant.

ORGANIC SAFFRON ABSOLUTE OIL
This oil's antioxidant qualities aid in the battle against free radicals and stop them from doing more harm. Additionally, it helps increase blood circulation in the skin, which maintains skin firmness and postpones the aging process. When particular skin patches get darker than the surrounding areas, it's known as hyperpigmentation. The overproduction of melanin is the cause of this. It has an active ingredient called crocin, which can reduce melanin. Tyrosinase, an enzyme required for the synthesis of melanin, is suppressed by this substance. Because it encourages growth, Pure Saffron Absolute Oil is also highly helpful in preventing hair loss. It gradually stops hair loss by regrowing healthy hair strands instead of damaged ones. It helps promote healing because of its strong antiseptic qualities.
