        “Yay! Thanks, Reinhardt!” The cheerful little mage grinned as Reinhardt conceded, her grip on his sleeve falling away knowing he wasn’t going to make some excuse to not accompany her inside. She could get scared easily alone, but if she had someone with her, it was much more fun.

        Besides, Anna had put a lot of time into the haunted house she was eagerly beckoning everyone to explore. Fake cobwebs and fuzzy-looking spiders covered the corners of the entrance to the halls designated to be the ‘haunted castle’, with pumpkins decorating the sides and candles in jack-o’-lanterns illuminating the front. Anna hovered outside the door inviting everyone in and charging fees, happy as ever when business was involved. Still, it looked like good fun, and Nino was excited.

        “I wonder what’s inside~” She mused as they made their way in, turning to Reinhardt curiously. He seemed fearless in battle, and he’d shown himself to be pretty homely too. But did that courage carry over to the horrors that might await them? “Hey, do you get scared easily?”

        “Disappointingly, not really. Heaven’s mostly old guys since the kids and stuff that die’ll get reincarnated and stuff. The people are aware it’s a holiday, but we don’t really celebrate it.

        “That doesn’t stop me and Iku from going down to the regular world to knock on people’s doors and stuff though. I tried dressing up as a devil as a joke one year and it was actually real successful. Iku went as a witch. Not sure what I’ll be this year, though.”

        Not one, but two visitors this Halloween, it seemed. How many more might actually come? After all, Eiki hadn’t seen Soldan for a while - not forgotten, per se, but she’d expected it to be more of a one-time meeting. But, as with Kasen, the visit wasn’t unwelcome.

        “Miss Soldan? I don’t really have candy, unless you’re content with some licorice or dark chocolate.”
