Speedpainting 1000 🎉

I did it!!! 1000 speedpaints!! Well its not really speedpaints as much now. I got a lot slower and more cleaner XD;;;

I've started this in 2011 during my college years after watching Goro Fujita's lecture. It was mostly studies to improve on coloring skills...then it evolved to more illustrations. Check the tag out for its evolution!

I’ve narrowed down their suranme to something flowery/tree like XDD I want an image of a cherry blossom tree. Still don’t have a better title for this series. It was originally “Annoying Woman” which is mean lol.  Random notes on characters: Cheri: a cheerful otaku girl who aspire to become a shoujo heroine; had an unordinary background and wanted to change it when starting high school Tye: he’s of mixed ethnicity. maybe southeast asian. family is divorced. father abandoned family, leaving mother to raise children. has an older sister who is also divorced with a child. doesn’t have a good impression on love.

900!!!!!!!!!! I finally reached another milestone on this “speedpaint’ journey. The last one was 2 years ago! So basically it takes me 2 years for about every 100 speedpaints? My next goal in speedpainting will be ACTUAL speedpaintings...with lots of studies on clothes, films, composition, perspectives, environments, buildings, colors, etc etc. I need to build up my portfolio for new job search and need to tackle my weakness.

I did it!! 800!!!!!!!!!!!! It took me 2 years from 700 orz;;

In the span of almost 4 years, I reached 700 speedpaints. I started off doing photo studies so it was much quicker to reach...now its just illustrations. Then I injured my arms last year, so I didn’t draw as much. I’m hoping this time, it won’t take too long to reach 800! :3

I reached 600!!!

I've started speedpainting 2 1/2 years ago! The purpose kinda changed from studies to just drawing, so its not exactly "speedpainting" anymore. More like trying not to spend too much time on one piece (from 15 minutes to 1 hour) Sometimes I get carried away and it takes longer.

Now that I've reached my current goal for now, I'll focus on NaNoManGo and clean up and occasional speedpaints.

FINALLY reached 500! I've been trying to work on a celebratory 500 speedpaint, but the weather here got so damn cold for me to use the tablet...plus my fingers was chapped and cracking and bleeding...I had several ideas I wanted to do...but finally went with a quick thumbnail I sketched today. If I don't post anything soon, HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE~!

My next focus to clean up a bunch of speedpaints for emergency prints....
