Some people think that January is the longest month, but I didn’t mind it. The days are finally getting longer, and I relish each extra minute of sunlight that we get. I know it won't get warmer here for a while, so I'm still rotating through my ambers, smelling new things, and sharing perfume with anyone who wants some. Be thoughtful, enjoy your time here. Some beautiful perfume helped me get through the month, or at least enjoy it. Meharées by @erbolario and Musk Ravageur by @fredericmalle. Ginger, cinnamon, vanilla, and a sprinkle of lemon sugar is the perfect recipe. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I got a decant of L'Erbolario Méharées, and I fell in love with it from the very first spray. I finished my decant immediately and looked around for a bottle. I would even say that it was the best $50 I spent on perfume last year. I have a few cheapies in my collection, but a lot of them are thin and watery, but this one isn't. It's on the sweet side but has a certain amount of complexity which I really enjoy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Musc Ravageur is not exactly like Méharées but nobody said it was. The drydown is the same, and Musc Ravageur is surprisingly sweet for a Malle creation. The spices are more present than they are in Méharées. The samples I have are also missing the lemon sugar opening from Méharées, and there's a soft animalic purr that comes out a little while into its wear. If this is a seduction, it's a slow, sly one that sneaks up on you. Happy Holidays friends, and soon to be New Year ! I hope you have had time to relax and have great food. For my fragrance today, I decided to wear one of my favorites, Meharees, by @erbolario . This comforting musky spiced vanilla has a special charm about it. There is a certain light fullness from incense and a fancy feel from patchouli. The amber is on the light fresh side with a little rose for an airy balance. Overall, this is a must try for spice and unque vanilla fragrance lovers. Hello friends, I hope you have recovered from your feasting ! Today, i went with something comforting and it brings me to my happy place. It is called Meharees by @erbolario !This is all about the vanilla and spices with cinnamon, clove and some fresh notes. Yes there is some freshness here with Bergamot, orange and a little charming rose. There is so much to love here for sure with a comforting full musky dry down, lively amber and playful patchouli. This is so warming and the musky cedar helps bring it all together. This lasts around 6 to 7 hours with fairly good performance, not a monster here. How much I paid: free sample (The full size is about 20 €)

Pro: This luxurious body cream has a rich date and myrrh scent. The texture is amazingly smooth and nourishing, but it absorbs quickly and it does not leave you sticky or oily at all. The scent is persistent: I applied it last night and in the morning it was still perceivable. I love it because it reminds me of that Sex and the City 2 atmosphere, you know, the wealth and perfumes of Egypt.. I found it perfect all year long because in winter you dream of warm countries and in summer you pretend to be on holiday in those Countries ;) The cream has good ingredients too, just like every Erbolario’s product.

Cons: If you don’t like “warm” sweet scents or myrrh or dates this is not for you.
