My First Girlfriend Is a Gal is a manga adaptation anime series released in 2017 in the romantic comedy genre. The anime, which consists of a single season in total, is based on Meguru Ueno’s manga series that began airing in 2015. The anime, produced by NAZ studio, which has been active in anime creators for several years, has also been licensed by Crunchyroll. Animations can sometimes take years to renew. The main reasons for this are manga status, financial plans. There is no leak yet for the new season of the series. However, we can speculate on this. It is possible to evaluate whether there will be a new season based on some main factors.The anime series is adapted from a manga written by Meguru Ueno, as we mentioned at the beginning of the article. Anime covers 1-3 volumes in the first season. Some characters have been transferred from volume 4 to series. Disc sales for an anime are expected to be at least 4,000. The producers seem not to get enough benefit from disc sales. However, anime is very popular on the online platforms where it is published. The anime’s popularity score is 84.6%. This score shows that the anime is very popular, but somehow it did not achieve this success in disc sales. However, under its current popularity, producers may want to make a second season.When is the release date of the second season?There is no renewal for the new season of the series. Sufficient source material was available, but the anime was not successful based on disc sales for the first season. Considering its current popularity, we are 50%-50% for a new season possibility.
