Ships: Placebo x Megatron (TFP)

Megatron stumbled into the ship's medbay, grumbling swears under his ventilation. As embarrassing as it was, he was caught off guard by the autobots and somehow got injured despite how weak the autobots were. Most embarrassing of all however was that his only medic on staff was some mini-con who lived its entire life on earth.

As he approached the medical table, he loomed over the mini-con who stood on the table. The young mech had an eager glint in his optic, like a young soldier. He was naive, maybe too much so. He wasn't fit to treat anyone, let alone work in an environment like this.

Amateurs don't have a place here.

"Let's just get this over with." The Deception grimaced as he positioned himself to get on the table to be patched up.

The mini-con quickly hopped out of the way, "Of course Lord Megatron!"

The small, blue-grey mech fiddled with a primitive welding tool, nearly dropping it. He chuckled nervously as Megatron sighed in annoyance.

He was already regretting letting this thing onto the ship.

Placebo couldn't believe what he was doing, he was repairing THE Lord Megatron. The man that gave him a real purpose in life, something to look forward to!

He watched the Decepticon leader lay down and lowered his welding visor, causing his already reddish sight to become a muddled brown.

Now came the more nerve-wracking part of the job, crawling on TOP of Megatron. Usually this would be no problem; Placebo has crawled on low ranking drones, a few constructicons, hell even the second in command himself Starscream, but something about being on Megatron intimidated him.

Something made him so anxious to please him and do right by him, and it wasn't the fact that he was his boss. Perhaps it was his size or his unstable demeanor that intimidated Placebo when it came to this job. Or maybe it was the way he carried himself or the way he grinned when he schemed.

Just the thought alone of Megatron smiling made Placebo's cheeks warm up, even if the smile in question was sharp and frightening.

Gathering his courage and banishing the thought of his boss smiling, he hopped back over. Landing on Megatron's chest with a metallic thud, his arms and legs clung to the smooth yet rigid chest.

Megatron was unamused by this clumsy display, quickly finding more annoyance in this scenario. At this point he was already content with patching himself up on his own even though Placebo had barely started.

Placebo looked over the mech's injuries; broken fuel lines that leaked energon, metal plating was ripped open and bent, at least the damage was still technically minor.

"So what brings you here today?" The mini-con awkwardly spoke up as he carefully made his way to position himself near the Deception leader's torn midsection. Placebo carefully tinkered with the fuel lines in order to temporarily stop the energon leakage while he found a more permanent solution.

With the answer extremely obvious as the mech rolled his eyes.

"Take a wild guess." Megatron hissed with irritation.

"Right right, my mistake Lord Megatron!..."

The sound of the young mini-con tampering with his insides made Megatron feel uneasy, he let out a low growl as he felt his fuel line get pinched closed then completely cut.

"Careful Lord Megatron sir... Don't move too much ok? I've changed fuel lines before...!" Placebo wasn't lying, he had just only done this procedure on actual cars rather than living, "breathing" cybertronians. He hastily dug through a drawer of parts to find scrap pieces of fuel line, perfect for patching up the rest of his leader's bleeding.

Megatron watched as the mini-con leaned in to work on his broken internals, each fuel line was repaired ollowing the same primitive procedure. It was a miracle from Primus that these damn lines weren't immediately imploding.

Yet, he couldn't help but feel odd towards the inexperienced medic and his attempts at handling injury. The sheer determination to fix Megatron, to heal him without knowing how to use the tools he's been provided. It was almost cute, however it was actually admirable in a way? Not that there was much to admire or strive for, he probably practiced on dead cybertronians for all Megatron knew.

Placebo pulled himself out of the cavity and wiped his brow, looking at his handy work. Each fuel line was cut, replaced, and able to pump energon once more. "That should do it!... It's just the bleeding- I mean the leak, right Lord Megatron?"

Placebo nervously looked up at Megatron. He lifted his visor as he waited for some kind of approval or validation, perhaps even a snide, angry remark about his performance. His wide, pinkish red optics glistened in the harsh light of the medical bay, sparkling like energon deposits as he eagerly waited for his leader to speak.

Megatron huffed and grabbed the smaller mech by his waist, lifting him up and towards his face. His servos clamped around him with a firm yet surprisingly painless grasp.

"You seem oddly eager to hear about my grievances with your methods..." He growled through his dentae, narrowing his eyes at the overly chipper mech. Megatron's suspicions were slightly tipped off, did this earthly mini-con do something to him?

Placebo felt his body stiffen at Megatron's touch, he felt his limbs dangle in the air. He felt himself pulled back into the reality of the situation by his leader's actions. He knew his procedures were far from seamless and quick, hell you would even say they were highly invasive.

Still, he had to at least show he was willing to learn and grow, to improve his methods.

"Well Lord Megatron sir, if you don't yell at me about what I did wrong, then how will I know what I got right?" Shakey reasoning aside, Placebo knew pleasing Megatron was a top priority.

Placebo felt small in his leader's fingers, who wouldn't at his size? The escalation made his fight or flight scream, Placebo wasn't as durable as his fellow Decepticons and Megatron tended to get violent when angered.

"Now if you'll excuse me," Placebo squirmed as he pushed on Megatron's fingers, "I have to weld you shut before something else happens to your inner workings.."

His small frame slipped out of the larger mech's grasp, landing on Megatron's chest once more. This time he was more prepared for impact however in spite of his ever clumsy landings.

Megatron felt his patience waning, though the desperate attempts to please him were endearing in a way. He harshly nudged Placebo towards his open wounds and gestured for him to get to work.

"Well get it over with then!..." Megatron's tone lowered with a slight irritation as he snarled. A slight buzz was felt in his spark as he saw Placebo work.

Nothing to be dwelled on of course, it was clearly his body trying to cope with the mini-cons poor treatment method.

Placebo lowered his visor once again and got to work, the sound of welding and sparks filled the bay. The metal plating was tenderly mended back together, Megatron winced slightly at the heated sting of the welding tool.

The crackle of electricity filled the air as Megatron was left in a vulnerable position. If he moved, he could cause himself more pain and more grievances. Which would mean he'd be stuck in this ridiculous situation for an extended period. Megatron flexed his servos as he impatiently fidgeted, his metallic claws clicking against the metal table.

He felt Placebo slowly close his wounds as the mini-con sat hunched over the side of the cavity, one hand stabilizing his balance while the other wielded the welding tool. The mech was careful of the clear size difference and it showed in his demeanor.

Each hole and slash was welded shut with care. It took a lot for Placebo to not speak endlessly during the procedure, fearful of annoying his leader more than he already evidently was.

With a click, the welding tool turned off.

"That should do it sir!..."

Placebo ran his hand over the now closed wounds with a sheepish smile, fighting the urge to continue touching his leader in this way. Wanting to escalate the simple act of ensuring a welding job was complete to something, affectionate perhaps?

He had to keep his head in the game, before something of real consequence happens and he incurs Megatron's wrath. Or worse, he loses his job.

Megatron carelessly sat up, letting Placebo slide off his chassis and tumble into his lap. The treatment was... oddly effective. He turned the gaze of his optics towards the mini-con in his lap and huffed.

"This will do, now GET OFF ME!"

Placebo jolted in surprise as he scrambled out of the Decepticon leader's lap, nearly falling to the floor in the process. Megatron sneered at the display, no longer amused by the incompetence in the medic's movements.

"If I don't see an improvement in your methods, then I'll have to seek out... Alternative positions for you. Understood?"

"Y-Y-Ye-Yes sir!" Placebo stiffened into a loyal salute as he felt a pang of fear from the intimidating bark of Megatron. He'd do anything to keep his job as a medic!

Without a proper thank you or goodbye, Megatron left the medbay. His steps were heavy and loud as they always were.

As the door slammed shut behind him, Placebo collapsed and fell onto his hands and knees as the anxiety overcame him.

He felt the metal plating that covered his body recede, leaving a fleshy display in its place. Placebo heavily sighed as he put his hand to his face, feeling a soft strand tickle his pomegranate red cheeks.

He didn't mean to transform, but he was so overwhelmed that his alt form came out of nowhere. If it had happened any sooner, he'd be outed as something the Decepticons were dismissive of.

An "organic".

A human.

Placebo took a deep breath and composed himself, letting the blush leave his pale skin as he got to his feet and dusted himself off.

This was going to be a long employment.

Like I’ve said, Tfa Switchfix’s story is borderline even more tragic than Tfp, however they’re both tragic in their own right. The beauty of pain, self discovery, new love, and loss, all in one is a roller coaster I never thought I could’ve make. And yet I did. Prowl and Switch have my heart, and their entire story is so beautifully tragic and wholesome at the same time.

Also fuck Megabitch fr, good thing he becomes their ex-conjunx later on. Poor baby Switch deserves better.

You have no idea how obsessed I am with this revolutionary old man. A damn threat to the system straight from the mines. It really saddens me that there are very few art and works with him. There is not even a transformer x reader with him (Just think about it, even Alpha Trion and Kup HAVE, but he does not)

Honestly I believe that despite his apparent softness… Just provoke him or behave disrespectfully and you can get a couple of good lessons from him on "what not to do". Plus his name is so symbolic! Roman deity, "not to give up land", I literally believe that is why he made sure Megatron stayed where he really BELONGED. HE DAMN DECEIVED MEGATRON, I can't just… he is such a threat, but he is great at it.

The kind of father who knows you've been through hell and seen shit. Still, he gives you a chance to choose a better path (not necessarily, but he believes it's the right one…. Makes you literally step outside of your comfort zone). To end this post of love for Terminus, just look at his smug faceplate… THIS MF, I just can't (Chain me to something, this dog is off the leash because of exams).

appropos of nothing but one of the more unusual crossover ships I came up with in the past was Yellow Diamond x Starscream

for a hypothetical crossover setting, with the premise being that they represent their societies in a scenario where YD leads a collective of Gems loyal to her personally and intending on continuing to create a stable society but with her more humanistic post-series character development intact so her functionally being a moral leader instead of the tyrant she wound up being prior to her leaving her position in canon

while Starscream, in this case, leads a remnant of the Decepticons following the defeat of Megatron and the more extreme organic-hating members of the faction, leaving the more moderate ones to join Starscream, who in turn has either defected to the Autobots at this point or never particularly cared about Decepticon supremacy, and establishes an empire that is more akin to something like the Roman Empire; militaristic but not explicitly Ultra-Turbo Evil (apart from being, well, like the historical romans), dropping the organic-hating aspets in favor of making them second-class citizens living under conquest. Not ideal, but not as horrific as the Decepticons usually are

so they wind up as part of an alliance with other imperial powers, some as vassals under them (for example, YD has the Irken Empire as her subordinates and they are an absolute fucking headache) and the two of them, as having grown into reasonable figures for the most pat, strike up a connection as constantly thinking 'GOD SAVE ME FROM THE IDIOTS AROUND ME'.

(The possibility of Steven and Optimus completely independantly acting as moral exemplars to inspire YD and Starscream even if they don't want to acknowledge it is also a fun notion)

Oh boy oh boy!

• Pre relationship 1: Depends on the version, but usually Roman finds an injured megatron and naively takes him in believing he was an autobot. Megatron, as much as he finds humans to be insignificant, doesn't resist due to his need for medical attention. Megatron gets patched up at the mechanic shop (or scrap yard) Roman's father owns and tells him the whole "The Autobots are actually the bad guys" shtick. Roman, who was too kind for his own good, believes him whole heartedly and wants to help. The rest is history

• Pre relationship 4: on one hand I think Roman would fall first for Megatron BECAUSE WHO WOULDN'T. But at the same time I think it'd be funny if he was the first to get a crush since. Y'know, his whole thing with humanity in most iterations. I think if he fell first, it'd definitely be because of Roman's absolutely undying loyalty and how devoted he is. Something so small and cute, placing nothing but trust and high praises (usually) in his name. Not to mention the physical intimacy required of being a medic at his height for 30 ft+ robots.

• Love 4: Roman is a SUCKER for PDA, taking any opportunity to snuggle and cuddle Megatron's arm or hand. He likes the crook of Meg's neck as it makes him feel tall and safe. Megatron.... Well he's selective about it. He enjoys using it as a bit of a status symbol, kinda like those evil villains and cats. Showing off his Conjux and how devoted he is. Prime Megatron isn't really fond of it happening casually whenever as takes away his intimidating edge and Animated thinks it's annoying but they both secretly enjoy it.

• Love 9: Hoo boy, never cross Megatron with threats of harming Roman. He is painfully aware of how fragile techno-organics can be (and just organics in general) so he is definitely the more protective one. Even if Roman likes to think he's the most protective one due to his usually blind loyalty. Roman would throw himself in front of an attack that would kill him if it meant protecting Megatron in any way.

I think it's fucking crazy how every other of Roman x Megatron I've concocted is silly, ray of sunshine and his insane bf opposites attract

Then you have fucking Prime! Roman x Megatron... Where they're literally doomed, codependent, Roman nearly dies and it's Megatron's fault, and in the end both are irreversibly changed for the better but here's horrors first.

And in every iteration, Starscream and his fat boyfriend are there too
