Here is my contribution to the teeny tiny Tissaia bang!
The idea for it came from a headcanon that after Sodden, Tissaia is driven mad by her grief for Yennefer’s disappearance, and turns to the dark side of the force.
In other words, Tissaia looses herself to anger, and becomes 🔥 Dark Tissaia 🔥

If I got a coin for every 'wimpy dorky stereotypical 'evil scientist/inventor' who craves attention and recognition and becomes a hero by the end of the story by saving the lives of his enemies' then I have 3 coins.

An interesting thing about the Monarch is that while obviously the entire gag is that he’s enmeshed in this postmodern weirdly formalized etiquette-and-code-of-conduct-based form of super-villainy, this notably does not translate to him being a Megamind-style functionally-benign-showman kind of villain-in-name-only. He kills innocent people constantly. There’s a running gag where he kills cabbies to get out of paying fare. This doesn't really seem to be a salient factor in the other character's assessment of him as a threat or moral agent-his ability, or lack thereof, to tow the Guild line and keep pace with the inside baseball is what actually makes waves, draws scrutiny. There's the comedy of that Season 1 episode where they basically call a time-out mid-death trap in compliance with Guild Law, but this doesn't translate to anyone outside the game receiving similar protections or considerations. He lets Dr. Venture leave midway through an arch to see his shrink and then murders the shrink so that those interruptions will stop happening.
And to me this feels like it’s gesturing at a very real thing that can happen in cape comics, where even the nominally harmless bit-villains aren't actually harmless even if they fail to kill the hero specifically, where even the really overtly silly ones have in fact likely whacked at least a few unnamed characters over the course of their 60-year publication history- only for this to sort of get sanded away as a morally salient feature of the character unless they become specifically known as One Of The Ones Who Constantly Kills People (Joker, Bullseye, Carnage, etc.) because security guards and people trapped in collapsing buildings aren't really real. The show is also attentive to the analogous thing that happens with superheroes with the weird moral myopias they suffer from, in the way that basically every hero has some insane instance of superdickery rattling around in their closet that's still technically canon but hardly relevant. The show is very very clear that as long as you correctly couch your behavior within the idiom, color within the lines, you're entitled to a certain level of carnage and collateral. Which is demonstrated in the second episode with the Revenge Society, where Phantom Limb and company are genuinely freaked out when a nameless slasher shows up to the try-outs. Phantom Limb constantly brutally kills people, but this guy in a bear costume with a kitchen knife? He's killing them in an off-genre way.

OKAY
SO I WATCHED THE NEW TEASER AND I'VE GOT THOUGHTS TO SHARE
First, the important stuff
Tumblr media
(I can't take normal screenshots deal with it :') )
LIKE-
I CAN'T EXPRESS ANYTHING EXCEPT AAAAAHHHH- *hits her had against the table*
Except... Stormy doesn't look really good in gold to me, but it's just my opinion :)
(And now my computer is getting a new wallpaper XD)
Now, to the less important stuff
1. Once again, graphics are ON TOP. My eyes are happy :)
2. I have a strong feeling that Knut is not playing any important role. Which will be understandable since, as I think they're going to put a lot of other things in the series
3. Wands. The heck are they for?? Firstly, I just don't like the concept of wands in general, and secondly, smth like that was in Lolirock
4. The way Bloom meets Stella and Flora looks... strange to me. Like, "we came for you". Why the heck did you come for her?? Sorry, but it looked like that scene from Megamind:
"So, you're, like, my space dad??"
"Yes, I'm, like, your space dad"
Maybe with context it will be better, idk
5. Also, the sound seems better somehow. Did anyone else noticed that or are those just my earphones?..
Actually, I'm so looking forward to see the whole season, and as long as the Trix are there, I'm fine with whatever Straffi comes up with, bc I already put up with the fact that it won't be awesome, just good. It can't be worse than season 8 anyway...

How about dreamworks female Character who is optimistic maybe that's not the right word but overall just female Character of dreamworks that are better than Charlie morningstar
Here you go.
Here is a list of Dreamworks female characters from movies and one TV series that I watched who are better than Charlie Morningstar.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I've only seen the first movie of How to Train Your Dragon when my older sister and her friend were watching it.
I've only seen glimpses of Shrek 1 and 2 and Megamind years ago as a kid.
I add Chelsea aka Nerissa because she's more prettier and cooler than Charlie.
Here is a list of female characters from movie that are produced by Aardman Animations.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay, we all know that Voltron Legendary Defender fumbled in 2018, but at least the female characters are more interesting compared to the ones in HH. The only good about VLD is season 1 and 2.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And that's all that I can list them.

With the... Negativity surrounding the trailer for the new megamind movie/show, my brain's wires started wiring and, welp, here's my idea for a Megamind show: Megamind has to learn how to be a proper hero, and Metroman/Musicman (who is still retired) acts like a mentor, from the sidelines.
Here's a dive into how the villains (evil bernard evil bernard) and characters would work ⬇️
Megamind
He still has the attitude and mannerisms of a villain, as he retains his old personality, but is learning the values of being a super hero. He evil-laughs when winning and such, and also is rather awkward around the citizens of metrocity, but is trying his best. He's still trying to win over their trust.
Metroman
By the end of the movie, I'm pretty sure everyone still believes Megamind killed him, which would definitely hinder Megamind's ability to gain their trust. The general public still thinks Metroman's dead, but there are multiple rumours and conspiracy theories of him still being alive, as he still goes out and could be occasionally spotted.
Villains
Bernard, who is a megamind expert, becomes an antagonist. He has a collection of Megamind's old thrown away machines, plus merchandise. He believes that megamind has lost himself and is "boring" now. As such, he uses the holo-watch (found in Megamind's trash) to steal his appearance and cause Havoc, turning the public against him and "bringing back" the villain he's an """expert""" on. Of course, this plan fails, but he becomes a recurring villain whose objective is to return megamind to his old self. This is either through recreating him (holograms, robots, etc) or straight up trying to manipulate him into going back to his old habits. He's still emotionless and seemingly bored most of the time though. Always having a horrible time.
The Child
Specifically the child from "the button of doom" who gets the dehydration gun and turns his mother into an ice cube. I enjoy the idea of a full on villain bratty child who can't be sent to jail, bc he's a child. (Sort of like the kid from Word Girl and the little girl from Powerpuff girls) He could also reflect how Megamind was as a kid. in the end the child isn't literally evil, just immature.
I'm also changing The doom syndicate from a squad Megamind used to be a part of to fellow villains who Megamind hated. (I know they are based on a cut concept for the movie but it was cut for a reason, megamind shouldn't have been part of a squad at all, he only had Minion, that's kinda the point). My idea is that Megamind was the sort of "main villain" to metroman, and he used to make fun of the rest for being his "side villains" lmao. (I would love for metroman and megamind to have a lego joker-batman sort of thing going on)
Also, what if the villain scene was sort of competitive. They didn't have any respect for each other, and they all worked alone. Until now, considering from their perspective Megamind killed Metroman. They see him as a bigger threat now, and also want to beat him up bc he was the most annoying "fellow villain". As such, they join forces and form the doom syndicate. Although, I do like the idea of them appearing one by one across the show before forming the squad. (Perhaps like a season finale)
Tighten is tricky because he's been dealt with in the movie and it'd be repetitive to fight him again. Although, I think some random scientist villain giving him powers again could have potential, as he's the number 1 Megamind hater and is easily manipulated... Food for thought

Rewatched Megamind and the way they were able to make a villian with a better redemption arc than Catra when spop had 5 seasons and Megamind was just a 1 hour and 30 minutes movie is insane.

Also, forgot to just put this in my last ask but: The earthspark animation is so bad because they changed animators from season 1. They are now using the company behind Megamind 2, which is cheaper to hire (:
Probably hoping for the hype of season 1 to outweight the bad animation and subpar or something
That's the thing that confuses me, actually: people say it's bad, but not what's so bad about it. Like, is it the special effects, or the way the characters move and/or emote, or the way they interact with their environment, or...? Apart from some minor facial weirdness, I straight up didn't notice a difference between S1 and S2. And the biggest "crime" I noticed in the latest batch was when Prowl nearly got hit in the head with something, and it was such a close miss that it looked like it passed through his chevron.
The fact that I can't see much difference is especially concerning to me because animation is a field I'm interested in. So I'm over here like, am I missing Obvious Animation Crimes, or are people just being super harsh because they don't like the story? (Secret third option: after watching Transformers Energon, a full range of movement and an expressive face is all I need to be satisfied).

My general observation of the Earthspark reactions is that somehow the show managed to be the worst of both worlds.
Season 1, for all its endless faults, did legitimately try to do new things with the settings and characters, based off of the divisive IDW comics, although hardly subservient to them. It didn't work as far as the toy sales went, like, at all, and the rumors from sources such as the Transformers Slag podcast persist that the only reason a Season 2 was greenlit was because the 40th anniversary was this year and Hasbro wanted something on TV for the sake of the optics. But even with all that, they were trying new things.
The problem is that it didn't work, Season 2 (which rumors indicate will be the last season) seems to have had its budget slashed, and a lot of its writing staff let go (most notably Mae Catt, Ms. "I am the Gay Agenda!" getting kicked to the curb) with the show clearly showing elements of a retool. The Decepticons are back to being the bastards everyone knows and loves and Starscream is his stereotypical self again.
The problem is that the retool didn't go nearly far enough. Most of the elements from Season 1 and the skeleton of the big themes of family and the small town are there, but they're now in direct conflict with the more conventional theming of Season 2.
Now you need to couple that with a lower budget, animation courtesy of the brain trust behind Megamind vs. The Doom Syndicate, and in general, a show that doesn't really know what it wants to be anymore, with themes, characterizations, and conflicts all seemingly in conflict with a whole that is assuredly less than the sum of its parts while Hasbro executives are probably wondering if they would have been better off just dubbing Shinkalion episodes while waiting for Transformers One to hit theaters.
The next show that comes out (Which Dollars to Donuts will be a One spinoff the same way Tales of the TMNT is a spinoff of Mutant Mayhem) needs to accomplish a very simple goal Earthspark failed to, and that's just get the kids invested so they can buy the toys. It doesn't need to redefine the core tenets of the franchise only so it can backpedal on them later, nor does it need to use deep comic lore to get those same adults to watch. It just needs to be something that the kids can engage with and actually make them interested in getting some products, via fun visuals or an engaging story that they can get.
It's another reason why I really don't know what they're going to do if One bombs. At that point, it probably will be time for something more in the vein of what Beast Wars was to G1 (Or G Gundam was to the Universal Century Gundam entries), a radical shift from the status quo designed to shock the brand back into relevancy.

DW constantly treats Megamind as an afterthought and gave the team a very small budget to work with on the show. They put their hearts into it and made something very fun and cute! Let's show our gratitude by giving back all the support we can.
The Animators Union may be protesting for better wages this summer (as is their right!) so by watching their work, we can give back to them!
Please don't allow Megamind Rules to become lost media. Please help us to keep something beautiful in this world.
If you're fan and want to join a cool and fun loving group, feel free to hop in and say Ollo!!

Left my review on Rotten Tomatoes! Help "Megamind Rules!" and its creators, who worked very hard on a very low budget (thanks to DreamWorks 😑), by giving the series 5 stars and a nice review!

Tinky Winkynos VS Everyone Season Two (part 2)
Tumblr media
This is the part 2 of the Season Two of the conquests of Tinky Winkynos.
The maximum number of links was reached on the part 1. So I created a part 2.
The action: Tinky Winkynos invades the targeted suggested franchise. You must vote for the side of your choice.
The rule: You can help him conquer or you can stand against him by voting.
The result at the end of the poll will decide the fate of the universe(s) issue of his conquest(s). If The Mad Teletubby wins with more 50% of votes, he succeeds his conquest. If the franchise (TV show, video game, movie, novel, etc) wins 50%, the invasion is repelled.
If you have a franchise to purpose as challenge, say it by message or commentary.

Media I’ve Experienced in 2024 (March)
Puella Magi Madoka Magica:Rebellion (8/10)-Big Cake Round Cake Right in Front of Me!
The Little Mermaid 2023 (6/10)-The singing was good besides that wack Awkwafina rap
Craig Before The Creek (8/10)-While I liked Craig of the Creek, I wouldn’t call myself a fan but this prequel was pretty fun into was the main characters were like before
Madame Web (0/10)-No reason to watch, awful effects, bland characters, boring story
Megaman X5 (7/10)-Honestly, the story was kind of stale but the gameplay was still top notch
Peacemaker (9/10)-After playing him in Mortal 1 Kombat, I loved this show. Fun characters, funny dialogue, and some pretty good fights
Megaman X6 (5/10)-Guilty pleasure, while a lot of it was annoyingly hard, I liked the virus stuff and the story
Avenue Q (9/10)-Pretty emotional musical about adulthood despite being played by muppets
Kung Fu Panda 4 (6/10)-Waaay too safe, the villain was intimidating until being defeated in 3 hits
Secrets of the Furious Five (8/10)-Pretty neat special, I liked the Furious Five from their movie screentime and the show and this helped fleshed them out
The Button of Doom (6/10)-While not as good as the movie. This is something Megamind 2 wishes it could be
South Park (8/10)-After 26 Seasons, this show is still pretty good. It has moments that make me laugh while still being shocking and there are characters I find likable to watch like Butters and Kenny
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (10/10)-Takes my favorite disk of FFVII and expands hard on it. Traversal feels freeing, the locations feel more full, and the story takes some wild turns.
Smiling Friends Season 1 (8/10)-This shows that adult cartoons don’t have to be about nihilism and can be about hope and enjoying life.
Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy (3/10)-While I find Seth MacFarlane funny this didn’t do it for me. The comedy while having decent setups, is ultimately too lazy to make it funny
Megaman X7 (4/10)-Gameplay was repetitive, the voice acting was bad but hey still liked it more than X3
Megaman X8 (8/10)-The gameplay is pretty fun this time, and Lumine is a pretty good villain if they expanded her more
Megaman X:The Day of Sigma (5/10)-The animation is good don’t get me wrong but the pacing couldn’t keep me engaged
Saw (7/10)-Pretty good story about someone who wants to help people realize they want to live by putting them in death traps
Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest Manga (Currently 8/10)-My favorite anime is Fairy Tail and this sequel expands pretty well, the Dragon Gods concept is interesting, the characters are still as they were which is how I like them, and the art during fights are really well detailed
Hello Kitty Super Style (9/10)-I love Supercute Adventures and this show honestly feels like if we got a full 11 minute show.
Mortal Kombat 1995 (8/10)-Fun action and characters. Effects didn’t age the best
Grave of The Fireflies (9/10)-Really emotional movie about those suffering during war
Persona 3 Reload (10/10)-The best gameplay and presentation Persona has ever been.
Godzilla:King of Monsters (9/10)-Really cool action and monsters
King Kong:Skull Island (8/10)-Pretty good story and action
Godzilla 2014 (5/10)-Probably spoiled by how good future Monsterverse but the spectacle was kind of forgettable
Godzilla vs Kong (10/10)-Yup still as fun as I remember it
Hunter X Hunter 2011 (9/10)-As much as I want to strangle Gon the rest of the series is pretty fire
Kaguya Sama Love is War!:The First Kiss That Never Ends (9/10)-Pretty funny and emotional movie
Komi Can’t Communicate (9/10)-Fluttershy as an anime girl
My Senpai Is Annoying (8/10)-I came in wanting Kurobe, left loving Futaba and Takeda
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon:Explorers of Sky-Beyond Time and Darkness (5/10)-The dub is too goofy
OFF The RPG (Opinion Has Changed as of September) (8/10)-Originally I found the fights boring and the fact I was softlocked made it lower. That was a mistake. The story is really haunting and dark, the fights are really basic but not bad, and the locations have an eerie feeling to them
One Piece Film Z (10/10)-Z is a really intimidating villain and the action is pretty good
My Little Pony:The Manga (7/10)-Cute artwork, I wish the stories were better
