#mega man dr wily's final attack

I don't post that often anymore... but I'm not dead! Lately I've been drawing classic mega man weapons in the MM11 style. But as a stylistic choice, I decided to keep the classic NES colors too. (Especially since back in the day, multiple robot masters would share a primary color).
These are the weapons I'd usually go for first when playing 1-5 (pretending 1 is the powered up version.)
As a bonus... I have a few fangame weapons too. So far Rock force, Unlimited, SFR, Dr Wily's Final Attack, and Rocks! Are being represented. With Scorching spear being my stylized Redesign version of the weapon.

What is the “Roll Z” outfit about?
Oh-ho-ho! I have been waiting for someone to ask about that.
See, about a month ago, a friend of mine showed me this video by man on the internet.
Listening to it, I couldn't help but picture Roll in place of Zero, and thus, I drew up this:
Now, I don't have a solid nor canon X timeline just yet because there's several ways it could go.
Please also keep in mind that I have never played the X games, so if I get anything wrong, I'm sorry!
All the timeline ideas start at the end of the golden age of robotics. Robot masters have been made illegal because of all of Wily's attacks, and so they're ordered by the government to (unfortunately) be deactivated. Including the light children. Light and Wily both end up going into hiding.
Roll, of course, did not agree with this and ran. But, she somehow gets damaged in the process. (The scenario I imagine the most is a building collapsing on top of her.)
This is where the timeline splits.
Timeline idea one:
The first idea I had has Wily finding Roll after she's damaged and decides to use her to get the final one up on Light.
He upgrades her to be the Z look, and much like with Zero, he implants the maverick virus into the gem on her helmet and seals her away, making her an unwitting pawn in his final plan.
Wily did not do anything to make her loyal to him because he knew it wouldn't work. He also knows the virus will likely not affect her either because of her sentience. (which is probably dumb in hindsight because she was affected by roboenza. Maybe the cure made her immune? Idk)
Light, in the meantime, is working on creating X (the timeline also splits here, but I'll get to that later) and passes away while X is in containment doing the final checks, as per the normal x timeline.
Now... Whether or not X is found before Roll is up for debate (as i said, i never played the X games), all I know is Dr Cain still finds X, and Sigma finds Roll.
Roll is initially hesitant to trust Sigma, even fighting him at first, but she is convinced to stop, and she does end up joining and becoming one of the top maverick hunters.
That'd be where Roll meets X...
The timeline will most likely go on like the games from there.
Timeline idea two:
Much like timeline one, Wily finds and upgrades Roll. But unlike timeline one, Wily has a change of heart, not wanting his legacy to only be destructive.
In this timeline, Zero DOES exist, but he is unfinished, and the maverick virus is in him instead of Roll.
Everything else is like timeline one, except Roll may end up finding Zero at some point.
Dunno what she'd do. Maybe if she had a dream sequence like Zero did in one of the games of Wily telling her to "fix his mistakes," she'd destroy him or something.
Timeline Idea three:
This timeline can be a variation of one or two interchangeably because the change here is involving Light, and is actually somewhat based on an AU my friend has.
In this timeline, Light ends up taking Rock with him into hiding and upgrades him instead of building X.
Everything else carries on like timelines one or two up until "Rock X" ends up meeting "Roll Z"...
After that, everything would carry on the same.
Timeline idea four:
This last idea is something I got from this video of a protoman rom hack for Mega Man X 1
This time, instead of Wily finding Roll, It's light who finds her and upgrades her, which would include fixing her core because ley me just sat this now,
Because Dr Light is the one who made Roll's experimental core, only HE can fix it since he's the only one who knows how it works. That doesn't mean it can't be maintained by others, though.
This means that in the other timelines, Roll likely still has that issue with her core.
This also means that Zero exists, too, but this time is fully completed. Although honestly, I imagine that Zero is built to be a girl in these timelines because I read somewhere that Zero was based on Protoman, and since he'd technically be based on Roll in this timeline...
I'm not sure what the dynamic between Roll and Zero would be to be perfectly honest. Neither of them would know about Zero being built by wily unless Zero tells Roll about that dream sequence.
Then again, he apparently asked light about it, and Light claimed he didn't know so... that's up in the air I guess.
There are several more possibilities I haven't covered here, like if Blues was taken to be upgraded by Light or if Roll wasn't found by anyone. But the four I talked about are the ones I think about most.
As I said, I don't know which one is the "canon" timeline for the AU. Buuut I think I should mention this-
When the robot masters are deactivated, I personally think that they were all preserved in a museum somewhere. It'd be such a shame otherwise. Plus, it means that, one day, Roll would be able to see Rock and Blues in some form.
Despite the rough patches in their history, Roll loves her brothers and would very much miss them.
I'll probably end up drawing more of Proto!Roll Z eventually.
For now, enjoy this little bit of dialogue I imagine being shared between X and Roll
X: "So, you were the first of the Robot masters?"
Roll: "I was the prototype, yes."
X: "You were made by Dr Light too?"
Roll: "Mhmm.."
X: "That would make you my sister, right?"
Roll: "...huh. yeah, I guess it would."

Megaman Review Part 2
The gameplay loop is intrinsically simplistic at the start of the game the player is presented with 6 levels the player can complete in arbitrary order, with each stage beaten giving the player an additional weapon making future levels and bosses easier, and once the 6 levels are completed there is a final gauntlet of levels that have to be beaten in linear order. The structure of a set of levels that the player can complete in arbitrary order initially brings to mind The Legend of Zelda, or at least the first one, however, it is inaccurate to conceptualize Mega Man levels as Legend of Zelda dungeons, because Legend of Zelda dungeons have branching pathways and the route for progression is obfuscated while in Mega Man the level and the route for progression is intrinsically simple, the only partial exception being the second appearing blocks section of Ice Man’s stage, however, it is immediately obvious where one would need to end up at the end even if the path there is a tad abstract. The option for the player to choose the first level out of any of the initial 6 has some benefits as it opens the player to do either the stage that they find the easiest with just the ordinary fire or the level that will grant them the weapon they think is the best, however, it flattens the average difficulty curve of the game until the Dr. Wily gauntlet which the developers can be assured that you have beaten everything before that point so you are sufficiently skilled, and the solution they tried as far as I can tell is to make each of the initial 6 stages challenge you in different ways with different obstacles, which they succeed partially enough so that I believe that it is what they are going for, however, they fail to completely commit to the idea as there are some obstacles that function idetencally shared between two stages (I.E. the laterally aligned straight bar of damage present in both Fire Man’s and Elec Man’s stage, and the laterally moving missile enimes that move up and down that are present in both Fire Man’s and Bomb Man’s stage are similar to the penguin enemy present in Ice Man’s stage, and the appearing blocks present in both Elec Man’s and Ice Man’s stage). Now it is time for the weapon discussion, the mega buster shoots off a laterally moving projectile that is not bound to gravity that moves to the direction that you faced while firing it with the capacity to have three on the screen at once only stopping if they collide with an enemy or reach the edge of the screen, the rolling cutter shoots off a scissor like boomerang projectile that moves in a circular manner connected to Mega Man’s current location disappearing if it collides with an enemy or Mega Man, the elec beam fires three projectiles aligned to the top and bottom of Mega Man and one aligned to the direction Mega Man is facing only disappearing if they reach the edge of the screen, the ice slasher fires a projectile that moves laterally in the direction Mega Man was facing when he fired it that will cause an enemy to stop moving if they are struck with it disappearing if it hits the edge of the screen, the fire storm shoots off a laterally moving projectile that moves in the direction Mega Man faced when it was fired it also creates a damaging barrier around Mega Man, the hyper bomb arcs a projectile that will be affected by gravity, that will stall a tad before exploding into a damaging cloud that lingers for a moment, the super arm requires and removes a block from the environment that Mega Man can later throw that damages enemies, the magnet beam creates a semi-solid platform whose length will vary depending on how long the player holds the attack button that will linger and then expire after a while.

Megaman Production Art Scan of the Day #709:
Ruby Spears Stonebot Cel
The 5th and final cel from this Double Buster batch is Rock Man. Er, Stone Man? How about Stonebot? Sure, that. Not as great as a Lion Man cel, but close enough, for an obscure Ruby-Spears creation.
And you guessed it, he has Roll leg paint residue on him, too! Kind of amazing how badly that one cel got stuck to all of these.
This chiseled guy comes from Episode 13, The Strange Island of Dr. Wily. Close to 18 minutes in, Wily fixes his neutronator inside the volcano to repossess the stone creatures, who then drop Wood Man and Cut Man to head to attack Mega Man instead.
Pretty much right where Cut Man says, "Wily got here just in time!"
Another cel where the full image was obstructed in the actual show. So now you can see his art in whole.
So, that's it from this new haul of hard to find cels. Back to your regularly-scheduled EXE settei posts starting tomorrow.

Mega Man, known as Rockman in Japan, is a 1987 action-platform video game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It was directed by Akira Kitamura, with Nobuyuki Matsushima as lead programmer, and is the first game of the Mega Man franchise and the original video game series. Mega Man was produced by a small team specifically for the home console market, a first for Capcom, who previously focused on arcade titles.
The game begins the struggle of the humanoid robot and player-character Mega Man against the mad scientist Dr. Wily and the six "Robot Masters" under his control. Mega Man's nonlinear gameplay lets the player choose the order in which to complete its initial six stages. Each culminates in a boss battle against one of the Robot Masters that awards the player-character a unique weapon. Part of the strategy of the game is that the player must carefully choose the order in which to tackle the stages so that they can earn the weapons that will be most useful for future stages.
Critics praised Mega Man for its overall design. Mega Man established many of the gameplay, story, and graphical conventions that would define the ensuing sequels, subseries, and spin-offs in the Mega Man franchise. The game has since been featured in game compilations, including Mega Man Legacy Collection for Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo Switch, rereleased on mobile phones, and become a part of console emulation services. It received a full 3D remake titled Mega Man Powered Up in 2006.
In the year 20XX, robots developed to assist mankind are commonplace thanks to the efforts of renowned robot designer Dr. Light. However, one day, these robots go out of control and start attacking humans, among them six advanced humanoid robots created by Dr. Light for industrial purposes. Known as the "Robot Masters", they consist of Cut Man, Guts Man, Ice Man, Bomb Man, Fire Man, and Elec Man. Dr. Light realizes that the culprit responsible for these attacks is his old rival Dr. Wily, but is unsure of what to do. His helper robot, Rock, having a strong sense of justice, offers to be converted into a fighting robot to stop Dr. Wily's plans, dubbing himself Mega Man. In time, he defeats the six Robot Masters and recovers their central cores, then confronts Dr. Wily within his Pacific-based robot factory, where he is manufacturing copies of Light's robots. After defeating replicas of the Robot Masters, as well as several robots designed specifically by Wily to defeat him, Mega Man confronts Wily in a final showdown and defeats him before returning home to his family.
The initial Western release of the game, while keeping the same basic plot, significantly changed some details from the original Japanese manual. In this version, Dr. Light and Dr. Wily (who is portrayed as Dr. Light's former assistant) co-create the humanoid robot Mega Man alongside the six Robot Masters, each of whom were designed for the benefit of Monsteropolis's citizens (no such place existed in the original plot). Dr. Wily, angered by Light taking credit for their work and desiring to use his creations for criminal purposes, steals the Robot Masters and reprograms them, then creates his own army of robots to seize control of Monsteropolis and declare it his own personal empire. Dr. Light, horrified by Wily's betrayal, sends Mega Man to destroy the Robot Masters and free Monsteropolis from Wily's machines.
Mega Man consists of six side-scrolling platformer levels freely chosen by the player. In each level, the player-character, Mega Man, fights through various enemies and obstacles before facing a "Robot Master" boss at the level's end. Upon defeating the boss, the player assimilates the Robot Master's signature attack, or "Special Weapon", into Mega Man's arsenal for the rest of the game. Unlike the standard Mega Buster (Rock Buster in Japan), the Robot Master powers have limited ammunition replenished by collecting ammunition cells dropped by defeated enemies at random.

Mega Man 2 Powered Up - Dialogue (*Metal Man route)
see this post for further details on what exactly the hell i'm doing here.
my idea for how the Wilybot story plays out is basically like: dr. wily has made a severe and continuous lapse in his judgement error regarding the Alien. shit is buggy and actively dangerous to use. now, with his life at top priority, you have to stop him from getting this plan off the ground before something drastic happens.
your bros are of course going to be in your way the entire time, following orders and unaware of what you know. you've got to subdue them to get to wily.
"why don't you just tell them what you know?" SEE you could do that if these werent a bunch of combat robots who solve all their problems by attacking them until they go away. this has the unfortunate consequence of doing Mega Man's job for him, but hey. PRIORITIES RIGHT
in order to make them playable, you have to beat them buster only, just like in the original. the explosion animation will change into a warping one at the end of the fight so you can tell.
oh also instead of Roll's voice, all WARNING! calls are heard in a bitcrushed, tinny monotone, implied to be the default voice for your assistant minion.
OKAY WHATEVER LET'S GO. METAL TIME
(OPENING MONOLOGUE)
Narrator: The year is 200X. In his first attempt at world domination, mad scientist Dr. Wily was defeated by the super robot named MegaMan. Seeking revenge, Dr. Wily escaped from the public eye…and returned with eight robots geared for combat. MetalMan is one of them, armed with ceratanium blades, but his sharp eye takes issue with his creator's new scheme…
(TUTORIAL STAGE CUTSCENE)
[Metal Man runs across a dark corridor somewhere under Wily Castle in the middle of the night.]
[His COM unit begins to ring as he's running. It rings twice before he picks up, still running.]
Metal Man: What do you want, old man?
Dr. Wily: Metal Man! Snide as usual, I see…are you out performing security checks on the base like I ordered?
Metal Man: Quit breathing down my neck and maybe I could.
Dr. Wily: Cut the sass! Right now, I'm in the process of drawing out Mega Man! Finish up and be at your post by the time we're ready to begin our attack, or else!
[Dr. Wily hangs up. Shortly after, a strange low alarm begins ringing. This catches Metal Man's attention, and he proceeds to the right, beginning the tutorial stage.]
(VS. CENTRAL COMPUTER)
--WARNING!--
[The terminal situated at the top of the room lights up, the machinery beneath it whirring to life.]
Central Computer: "DWN-009" IDENTIFIED. PLEASE COMPLETE EXERCISE 001 TO CONTINUE.
Metal Man: Look, I'm just here bug checking. Can we not do this right now?
Central Computer: LOCKING DOWN…
[The room itself undergoes a shift, simulating a challenge course tailoured to Metal Man's abilities. When this shift is finished, the terminal monitor begins counting down.]
Central Computer: INITIALISATION COMPLETE. GET YOUR WEAPONS READY.
(POST-TUTORIAL STAGE CUTSCENE)
[The simulation terminates. A door on the other side of the room opens. Metal Man automatically follows the path into the control room for the Alien. A screen glows near Dr. Wily's seat.]
Metal Man: Finally. Stupid tedious anti-invasion measures.
[Metal Man sits in Dr. Wily's seat and scans the Alien program for errors.]
Metal Man: Everything looks fine. What a waste of-- [Cue program stability error SFX.] ...oh. Guess I jinxed it.
[Metal Man's COM unit rings again, only once this time before he picks up.]
Metal Man: Wow, perfect timing. We need to talk, it's about plan E.
Dr. Wily: You listen to me, this is urgent! Mega Man's just beaten my mech, and he's at large! Move your chassis out of the castle and get in position -- I've got preparations to make! NUAHAHAHAHA!!!
Metal Man: Oi, I'm serious, this is--
[Dr. Wily hangs up before he can interject. Metal Man shuts down the Alien program.]
Metal Man: ...If the old man gets in the chair as it is, he's toast. Forget preparations, I need to stop him before it's too late.
[Metal Man warps away to another wing of Wily Castle, in a flash of red and blue light.]
-LOADING...-
[Metal Man arrives in an arm of the Teleport Station and stops in front of a large, idle monitor. A Pierobot is waiting on the left.]
Metal Man: So, what'd you bring me?
Pierobot: Da-daaa!
[The screen cuts on, showing the eight robots available on the stage select.]
Metal Man: No points for precision, but it'll do. Now it's just a matter of convincing the guys to work with me.
Pierobot: Daa-daa-da-daa!
(VS. MEGA MAN)
--WARNING!--
[Mega Man is teleported into the scene in the usual fashion he would be if he were the player character.]
Mega Man: So you're the one stealing metals from the recycling plant! I've been looking for you!
Metal Man: Aw, what a coincidence, me too! Now beat it before I slit your puny throat.
Mega Man: ...Fine. I guess if you won't go peacefully, this is where we part ways.
(VS. AIR MAN)
--WARNING!--
[Similarly to his appearance in Mega Man: The Power Battle, Air Man emerges from the eye of a developing tornado.]
Air Man: THE METAL MAN COMETH! And he stands before my greatness, not as an ally…but as an opponent?
Metal Man: Quit your blustering and shut this birdhouse down before I lose my patience.
Air Man: The audacity…! The great AIRMAN shall not be made to dishonour his mission by command of hoodlum youth such as yourself! BEGONE!!
(VS. BUBBLE MAN)
–WARNING!–
[Similarly to his appearance in Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters, Bubble Man rises up in a giant bubble. When it pops, he performs a backflip stroke.]
Bubble Man: B-buh?! Metal Man, what are you doing here? And why do you look so...tense?
Metal Man: I can think of a few good reasons. You won't be one of them if you try standing in my way, bubble guts.
Bubble Man: Gnh...Y-you, you think you're gonna threaten me, huh?! N-not anymore! I'm not scared of you!!
(VS. QUICK MAN)
–WARNING!–
[Quick Man dashes across the raised floors in a blur. At the peak of his third jump, he flips into a pose on the room’s right end.]
Quick Man: Seriously, Metal? I was expecting Mega Man! Unless…hey, you didn't come to cut in front of me, did you?!
Metal Man: No, of course not. Obviously I'm here to sell you dental insurance.
Quick Man: Shut up! If you think you're gonna beat Mega Man before me, you got another thing coming!
(VS. CRASH MAN)
–WARNING!–
[The pipes on the right end of the room explode violently. Crash Man is blasted in, but recovers with a roll and stumble to a stand.]
Crash Man: You snake...stabbing us all in the backs like this...
Metal Man: If you care anything about what'll happen to Wily if I don't, you won't fight me about it.
Crash Man: TRAITOR! Raise your hand to him AND I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!!!
(VS. FLASH MAN)
–WARNING!–
[Everything freezes until there’s a sudden burst of white light. As it clears, Flash Man materialises on the right end of the room in a pose.]
Flash Man: Tell me, Metal Man…what exactly are you trying to prove by covering your heart in razor blades?
Metal Man: Good luck dissecting that. I know you love pretending to be enlightened.
Flash Man: Hmph. There's a line between independence and isolation, you know. Be careful you don't cross it.
(VS. HEAT MAN)
–WARNING!–
[Heat Man’s box sits plainly on the floor until it jumps. His arms and legs pop out, and the lid opens in a flare of fire once he’s fully standing.]
Heat Man: Mets! Hey, you bring me an E-Tank? I'm cooking in here…
Metal Man: You can get one free if you drop the mission with me.
Heat Man: Boo. I'm not catchin' heat from Wily just 'cus you wanna act dumb. Get lost.
(VS. WOOD MAN)
–WARNING!–
[The trees and their leaves above shake vigorously. Wood Man falls to the ground in a crouch, with a resonant rumble.]
Wood Man: Dude, you might have an axe to grind, but this…isn't there a better way?
Metal Man: You think this is personal? C'mon Wood, be reasonable about this. Just fall back.
Wood Man: Man, I had a feeling you'd snap one day. Someone's gotta bring you back to your roots.
(“WILY CASTLE APPEARS” CUTSCENE)
-LOADING…-
[Metal Man returns to the station. The room's lights are lower. The screen is idle and no longer reflects the stage select.]
Pierobot: Da-da-daa! Da da da!
Metal Man: Well, well. What do we have here?
[The screen settles into a clouded sky. The camera zooms into it until the perspective is from the sky itself, which is tracking Dr. Wily’s capsule as it moves through the growing storm.]
Metal Man: Heh. That's our geezer, alright.
[Dr. Wily flips open the lid. His irises are red. He briefly acknowledges/teases the camera by pulling a face and waggling his eyebrows. He shuts it again, and tries to outpace the camera.]
Metal Man: Old bat probably thinks it's still MegaMan on his bumper. What's worse, he's not taking any of my calls. I might have to grab the reins from him by force.
[While Metal Man is speaking, Dr. Wily vanishes through the clouds. When the camera catches up through the fog, it focuses at the bottom of the fortress. Cue prelude. It tilts up just in time to see Dr. Wily retreating into the eye of the skull. There is a flash of lightning and a clap of thunder.]
Pierobot: Da-da-da-da da da da-daaa?
[The monitor then comes back into play as the view of the fortress becomes a grid map.]
[The camera pulls out and fades back in to the station, where the two are standing, facing the screen.]
Metal Man: Right. Good thing I don't follow the rules. I'll just have to carve a path in. Shouldn't be too hard. I kinda live here.
[The two turn to face each other. The Pierobot smiles at him.]
Metal Man: All you have to do is make sure I have a stable link back to this room in case I need repairs, capice?
Pierobot: Da-da! Da-da da-da-daa!
[The map then becomes selectable, per fortress stage.]
(VS. MECHA DRAGON)
–WARNING!–
[Mecha Dragon’s body lurches bit by bit. She then roars out a blaze of flames.]
Mecha Dragon: Rrrrr….chaarrrrrrr…?
Metal Man: Oi, behave. You bite me and it's back in the chamber for you, bessie.
Mecha Dragon: Choarrr….CHHOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR!!
(VS. PICOPICO-KUN)
–WARNING!–
[The eyes in the walls peek before flashing various colours in quick succession.]
Picopico: CONTEMPTIBLE PRESENCE IDENTIFIED. SCANNING...PLEASE STAND BY FOR CLOSING WALLS.
Metal Man: Contemptible, huh? Cranky 'cus you're a wall, ain'tcha?
Picopico: MALICIOUS INTENT DETECTED. PLEASE WAIT...ENGAGING TERMINATION PROTOCOL.
(VS. GUTS TANK)
–WARNING!–
[Guts Tank rolls onscreen, then straightens up, punching its fists together.]
Guts Tank: I'VE...GOT...GUTS.
Metal Man: Got anything else…? Brains, maybe?
Guts Tank: I'M TAKING…YOU DOWN…WITH ME.
(VS. BOOBEAM TRAP)
–WARNING!–
[The eyes of each cannon rove about and glow until they fix on Metal Man. They then blink in unison.]
Boobeam: Metal Man is here? Metal Man is here! Here? Lies! See? Hi!
Metal Man: I know you idiots can hear me! Lay off or I'm tearing you all a new one!
Boobeam: R-request? Negatory! Invalid? Code breach! Fire? He will! At will? We will!
(VS. THE DR. WILY TELEPORT STATION)
*Conditions for this one being, only the first robot you encounter here is the one you have any dialogue with. The WARNING! also only shows up once.
–WARNING!–
[The robot you’re rematching appears in the same manner and pose as they did when you first fought them. Their textures appear somewhat holographic.]
(VS. WILY MACHINE #2)
–WARNING!–
[The mech descends on screen with just a bit of puffing steam. Dr. Wily then drives his capsule into it, and pushes the windshield open. His irises are their usual colour.]
Dr. Wily: YOU!! What on Earth are you doing?! This entire time, you've done nothing but counter my attacks on the city! Whose side are you on?!
Metal Man: Yours, old man, now quiet down and listen! Look, your Plan E's got a fatal error…
Dr. Wily: SILENCE, YOU DISOBEDIENT TWIT!!! You've meddled with my plans for the last time! I shall pound you into scrap with Wily Machine #2! I'll even make a better, stronger robot from your parts! See if you ever question me again! NUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
[He shuts the windshield and prepares the guns.]
(PHASE 2)
[The face of the ship breaks off, revealing Dr. Wily in the cockpit.]
Dr. Wily: GAHH!! No no no no no no no! Now you've gone and done it! But I'm not beat just yet!
[He improvises a temporary solution, shedding any extra broken parts. Wily Machine #2’s HP refills.]
(PHASE 2 - END)
[Wily Machine #2 fully breaks down. While it does, the floor begins to rumble.]
Dr. Wily: Grrgh…it looks like I'm going to have to break out plan E after all…don't get in my way!
Metal Man: No! Dr. Wily!!
[The floor gives way from underneath of Metal Man before Dr. Wily is seen getting away. This transitions the player directly into the secret final stage.]
(VS. DR. WILY?)
[Quietly, Dr. Wily’s capsule descends. He jumps out of it and floats idle in the darkness. It spins away on autopilot without him. No warning is given. His skin texture is buggy and his irises are red.]
MetalMan: Wily, have you lost it?! I said no!
Dr. Wily?: Defeat your own, will you? Intercept my authority, will you? You have no idea O-F THE W-WORLD-D-D-D ENDING POWWWER I HOLD, BOY.
[Halfway through the last sentence, his body begins to transform in a jittering, unstable manner. Metal Man takes a step back, worried. The vast starscape fades in around them once the Alien is fully uncloaked.]
Alien: YO-O-OUR PETTY CONCERNS ARE INCO-NSEQ-Q-QUENTIAL. KNEEL BEF-BE-BEFORE ME AND WITNESS THE TRUE POTENTIAL OF DOC-T-TOR ALBERT WIIIIL-LY.
(POST-ALIEN BATTLE)
[Dr. Wily is in a panic as everything begins to deteriorate. Warning sirens and like alerts fill the air.]
Dr. Wily: What's…what's going on…?! This thing is out of control!
[Dr. Wily is seen trying to get everything back in good working order behind his terminal, until Metal Man approaches him and picks him up from behind the control panel by force.]
Metal Man: Alright old man, you're done. Time to go home.
[Dr. Wily struggles to resist arrest. The hologram generator falls to the floor and breaks, catching fire.]
Dr. Wily: Aaaack! You insolent robot! [Cue fanfare.] Unhand me this instant! Give me a few more minutes, I can fix this! It'll just take some emergency hotwiring and--GYAH!!
[Both Metal Man and Dr. Wily teleport away, presumably to safety. The control room is then left to combust and collapse inwards.]
(ENDING CUTSCENE)
[The camera is focused on the now black stage select screen. The ancillary teleport station, partially crumbled and shrouded in darkness, is then dimly illuminated by it whirring to life. The Pierobot comes out from under some rubble, celebrating this.]
[Dr. Wily then falls in from above, looking very ragged. This scares the Pierobot. It turns to him with wide eyes.]
Dr. Wily: Ough...my head...
Pierobot: Daa! Da-da-daaa-da!!
[Dr. Wily gets up quickly with a grimacing angered expression.]
Dr. Wily: Oh! Conspiring with one of your flunkies, were you?! When I get my hands on you, I...eh?!
[Dr. Wily looks around for Metal Man. The camera pans slightly with him to show they did not arrive in tandem.]
Dr. Wily: Where did...I thought we both...?!
Pierobot: Da-da-daa...da-da da daa da.
[Dr. Wily takes over the computer and immediately gets to work trying to locate Metal Man's signal. A picture of Metal Man, shut down and stuck under support beams and brick in an unknown location focuses into clarity.]
Dr. Wily: Metal Man...? How in blazes?! You! Dispatch a team to retrieve him at once!
[The two parties go their separate ways.]
[The camera gradually zooms into the monitor feed until the view is of Metal Man's body on the ground, in real time. [Cue ending theme.] The seasons pass him by outside, as do events of what's happening in the background while he is inactive. As the song draws to a close, the rain stops. Dr. Wily's capsule flies in front of the sun, indicating he and his robots have finally found him (after the events of the epilogue circa Mega Man's route). The camera slowly, and then quickly pans up through the sky to the stars, and thus begins the staff roll.]
[Post-staff roll, the player is prompted to save once more before being returned to the company logos and opening cinematic.]

Been really thinking about these goobers so! Just wanna write a drabble about how these two met.
Keep in mind the Smash Bros Verse is an entirely different Verse for both of them.
How they met was an interesting encounter.
Warnings: death, politics mention, war mention, trauma mention, robot gore, gore.
Back in the classic days, Sonic was zone hopping for the sake of getting rid of boredom and stumbles into Mega City in an awkward situation. Seeing the Blue Bomber in need of assistance of a mad doctor, the sense of familiarity he couldn't help but to help out the small bot.
After the strange animal helped him out of the blue. Rock eventually recovers to fight back against the Wily Bots in return. The two looked at each other and laughs from the random comradery. From that point, The two became quick friends, but Sonic has to cover up where he came from since he has cause trouble on certain Zones before. As the years pass by from visiting and Doctor Light did a dad joke that both of the boys always have a nice blue aesthetics and Roll jokingly says that
"You guys should be called Team Blue if you guys keep on bumping into each other like this."
The boys look at each other with a grin.
"Heh. I don't mind that! We're always going to be bros! Right Rock?"
"Yeah! Bros Forever!"
The two fist bumps each other and then.....time passed by....
....The two never met each other again....
The Fights.....Turning into Politics...Turning into Genocide
Time passed by...The War happened in Mega City.
Rock's memories of the Blue Blur is fuzzy and now focused on the war between man and machines. The separation and attacks we're so brutal that Dr. Light and Roll had to be separated from Rock who is joining into the fight to protect both Robots and Humans. As he fought his final fight to defend the last of the survivors, he was the bomb falling from the sky and hitting the ground with a flash of light. Absolutely torn into two.
.....Over a hundreds years later.
Founded by X from the rubble and restored him the best of his ability and eventually upgrading into a more proper and aged body for the Blue Bomber who is a Rank C Hunter. Helping out citizens in need, Fending off Mavericks in Abel City and fighting the amount of reports and paperwork. Meeting so many teammates, friends along the way until...
One day, he sees a rather...familiar stranger being surrounded by an army of Mavericks.
"Huh...Interesting place...Looks like every other city to me! Kinda reminds me of that one place
uhh.....What was it? Woah!"
Sonic dodges an upcoming laser and taunts at the Maverick in return.
"Hey come on! That's not a greeting for a visitor!"
Without hesitation and unfortunately avoiding his teammates and navigators commands. He steps in front of Sonic with his buster ready in hand.
"Stand back!"
The hedgehog was surprised to see this other robot actually defending him, but something clicked.
The color scheme of the Hunter's armor...A distant, but familiar tone. The determined sharp eyes.
It clicked on the hedgehog's mind.
".....Rock?...Is that you?"
Then the memory from his data bank starts to overload with memories....old memories unearthed and remembering a spikey blue mammal helping his time in need and just vibing with the Light family.
"....S...Sonic?"
The two came to a realization and they we're about to greet and at the verge of embace, they get interrupted by the Mavericks and Mega's teammates. Both of them shakes it off and at the edge of tearing up.
Sonic grins with an offer of a fistbump.
"Let's go bro!"
"Yeah! Right back at you Sonic!"
Both fists clashed and the two rushed into the enemies.
The Mavericks did not stand a chance.

Since I do have some people in my Following that may be interested in Mega Man (or definitely are)... YOU WANNA HEAR ME GUSH ABOUT MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS IN THE CLASSIC SERIES??
The Stardroids are extra-terrestrial robots of unknown origins. Although sometimes, they are given origins. In the Archie Comics and in the Megaman Gigamix Manga, they are created by Ra Moon. And are ancient robots that will destroy everything and must be feared.
Sad that they don't return in any later games, and yet the Mega Man Killers do! (Aside from Quint. Wonder why...)
But today's the day I gush about ALL of them! And also have excerpt's from TVTropes for more info. It's made by fans, sure. But it's reliable enough for me! ...Also why would I use Fandom.
ANYWAYS...
Terra is the co-leader of the Stardroids, and is a great introduction to them! They are immune to the Mega Buster, so Mega Man had to upgrade his buster into the Mega Arm. Don't ask how that does damage to Stardroids, I am not the doctor that made that weapon. Also his hair is so cool... And he's the basis for my MHA oc! For the most part. Technically, all the Stardroids are. But it's mostly Terra. Excerpt from TVTropes: "The leader of the Stardroids who is greatly respected for his unrivaled determination in battle. He is, however, somewhat nervous and has an obsession with cleaning. Terra likes to wash his mane of hair with shampoo, and thus doesn't like to use hats or helmets to cover it up. In combat, Terra utilizes the Spark Chaser, a laser that guides onto his targets and deals massive damage to them, in addition to teleportation and paralysis abilities that allow him to get ahead. His serial number is Space Ruler Number: 001."
..i wanna touch his hair...
Sunstar is the best final boss in a Mega Man game. I'd go play Mega Man V myself, but uh… I'm piss-poor at Mega Man games. :') Also he has my favorite design of all the Stardroids! Apparently he's also optimistic, when he isn't being released as a doomsday weapon. Perhaps Wily should've considered that he was a doomsday weapon instead of releasing him.. Excerpt from TVTropes: "An ancient super robot hailing from the same extraterrestrial civilization as the Stardroids, created to be the ultimate weapon of mass destruction. Dr. Wily releases him against Mega Man for the final battle of Mega Man V, before being promptly blown off the battlefield before Sunstar faces Mega Man. For an ultimate weapon, he's surprisingly optimistic and cares for his dental hygiene. Because he takes a while to fully wake up, he tends to try not to stay up too late."
Out of all the Stardroids, Mercury is the one that makes me uncomfortable. Maybe its the fanfiction.. or maybe its his design. Also apparently he's an advocate of communism?? Well, alright Capcom! You do you with writing your space robots. Excerpt from TVTropes: "A greedy Stardroid whose body is made of a liquid metal which allows him to take any form and dismantle himself to attack in a similar fashion to the Devil series of robots. Mercury doesn't have many friends due to his loose tongue. Neither does he get along with Pluto, and he hates malicious gossip, especially when it's about him. Despite his greedy nature, he is an advocate of communism. Mercury's Special Weapon is the Grab Buster, which can steal energy and items from enemies and absorb them to recover his health." This is off-topic, but I want to shove my hands inside of him. Would he stop me? Would he just let it happen? I know Gigamix!Mercury would kill me if I tried. Even if I wasn't a robot, he'd still kill me. I think that's just a given with all the Gigamix!Stardroids though.
CRAB. ROBOT. Why is this the only crab robot we get in the West? We could've had Cancer too! You can tell I am impartial to him because he's based on a crab. And I just.. gush about crabs to myself. I mostly blame Lightbulb from Inanimate Insanity from making me hyper-fixate on crabs sometimes. Mostly… Also, side-tangent, but why does he clean his 'hair'? He doesn't even have any! So why does he do it? Also what shampoo would he use.. hopefully not Terra's, but I think Venus is smart enough not to! Excerpt from TVTropes: "A very aggressive Stardroid that walks sideways like a crab (an animal he is motifed after), as he is unable to walk forward. Venus loves cleanliness and washes his head with shampoo every morning, despite the fact that he doesn't even have hair. His main weapon is the Bubble Bomb a strong bubble made of a soapy substance that explodes on contact."
And now the robot that would play World of Tanks.. if he could. Or even wanted to! I'm doubtful he would be interested in that stuff, because why do it on some phone you can't even use… WHEN YOU CAN DO IT IN REAL LIFE!!! He's also the nicest of his comrades. Most likely only to the Stardroids themselves, and not outsiders. Maybe. Idk. Excerpt from TVTropes: "A Stardroid who is essentially a walking armory, Mars is characterized by heavy armor and a large assortment of deadly weapons. The rollers in his feet allow him to move at high speeds; however, Mars cannot jump well because of his very heavy armor. Mars is surprisingly the warmest of the Stardroids. He likes survival games, most likely because they allow him to make use of all of his weapons, and dislikes restraining himself in battle as well as surrendering."
It's him! …Prepare to see those two words for a second time later on the list. Jupiter's pretty cool! He's one of those that I'd want to have an armor replica based on. Because I'd want to fly without propellers! It'd also help me get over my fear of heights.. hopefully. Also he's GREEN!! It's a nice use of green too. :) Also he has the best weapon in Mega Man 8-Bit Death Match.. which can be debated all you guys want. But I'm not changing my mind. >:) Excerpt from TVTropes: "A Stardroid equipped with a jet engine that grants him the ability to fly at super speed, which he likes to combine with acrobatics — but hates turbulence. He often has an irresponsible personality, to his allies' chagrin. In ancient times, Jupiter was equipped with several megaton-grade bombs, but they were too dangerous for him indoors, so he modified them to channel energy for his new main weapon, the Electric Shock, which allows him to emit huge beams of raw electricity."
The one I had to use the ring for Hoshiakari Terra! …I mean, I had to. How else would they make a black hole without containing it? Saturn's ring, that's how! This is also a good use of browns on a design. Brown, orange and yellow go well together, but sometimes they don't. It depends on what shades, and where the colors are used really. Though, that advice works with pretty much any oddball color combo. I also love to picture Saturn struggling to play a video game because he doesn't understand how to play most of them. Fanfictions are good, see? …Not all of them make you disturbed of a character, like Mercury. Exerpt from TVTropes: "A Stardroid who has the power to control time and space, owning to his namesake. Saturn has a large ring that he uses to initiate his Black Hole attack which pulls his foes closer to him. He is somewhat lazy and uses his Black Hole to bring others to him instead of going to them, which gives him a bad reputation. Saturn is fickle-minded and neophilic, but seems to have low allowance in terms of money (likely as a result of his love for novelty). He enjoys hula-hoops and is natural with it, but doesn't like video games."
I'm not going to comment on Uranus's name. I have standards.
…Would he let me climb atop of his body? Would he even allow it? …Wait, I had the exact same question for Mercury, wth.
Excerpt from TVTropes: "Uranus is the Stardroid with a bull-like appearance who also has the greatest physical strength and athleticism. Uranus' bull motif translates well to his personality: he has a short temper, likes to run fast and to overturn tables whenever he's mad, and dislikes both bullfighters and red flags. His Deep Digger allows Uranus to lift heavy boulders and throw them at his opponents."
It's him!! My favorite!!! NO IT ISN'T JUST BECAUSE HE'S A CAT!
I love his colors! I love his weapon! I can and will pet him, even if he may kill me if I do!! NOTHING WILL STOP ME FROM LOVING HIM!!!
…Okay, need to dial down the obsessiveness a little. This is why some people question your sanity on the internet, girl.
Excerpt from TVTropes: "Pluto was designed for jungle combat, and thus as his appearance suggests, he has very quick reflexes and is agile like a feline. Despite looking like a fierce predator, he enjoys maintaining his sharp claws with manicures and gets annoyed when they're damaged in battle. Pluto can move at supersonic speeds thanks to his Break Dash, slash at his enemies up-close, cling on the walls and fire projectiles from his hands. He doesn't get along with Mercury, likely because he's weak to the latter's weapon."
And we end on a whimper. Sorry Neptune, I just don't have a lot to say about you. It is cool that your a fish, and you eat salty foods. And you also don't like fishing (which makes sense, you are based on a fish after all). Just don't smack me with your Salt Water. I know it does nothing to humans, but it's still salt water!
Excerpt from TVTropes: "Neptune is an aquatic and bulky Stardroid with a half-human, half-fish appearance. He's a very good and fast swimmer; for some reason, he prefers salty food and doesn't like fishing. In combat, Neptune utilizes the Salt Water — a fluid with salt-like substances that can corrode any metal."
#aria's gushing corner ~ hyper-fixation posts#(for those who didn't click read more:#i get a bit crazy with pluto.)#(just warning you right now.)#(and it isn't just because pluto's the cat robot.)

A Look At Stuff You Probably Never Heard Of: Archie Mega Man
I’m sure something can be said about what I’m looking at today, and that I’m doing so in the month of May, but I’m sure it’s already pretty obvious. Regardless, today, we’ll be talking about... The Archie Mega Man comics!
The Archie Mega Man series, known simply as “Mega Man”, is a comic book series published by Archie comics, adapting the video game series of the same name. The first issue was published in April of 2011 and ran until December of 2015 (more on that later). And Ian Flynn is the head writer, who also worked on the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog series (before it was cancelled) and now works on the IDW Sonic the Hedgehog series. And Patrick “Spaz” Spaziante, who also worked on the Archie Sonic comics and currently works on the IDW Sonic comics, does most of the covers for the comics.
As stated, the comics adapt the games. In the year 20XX, robots were created to help with humanity. Dr. Thomas Light, a brillian scientist, unveils his latest creation, the Robot Masters, robots with human-level intelligence and sentience, as well as having emotions; far more complex than other robots, also to help humanity and command lesser robots. But not long after the Robot Masters are revealed, a disgraced scientist and former associate of Dr. Light, Dr. Albert Wily, sneaks in and reprograms the Robot Masters to obey him because sending them out to run amok.
With a strong sense of duty, Dr. Light’s assistant (and pseudo-son), Rock, volunteers to fight against the Robot Masters and stop Wily. With some help from Rock’s sister, Roll, she and Light upgrade Rock into the super fighting robot, Mega Man! Complete with a special Weapon Copy System, allowing Mega Man to copy the special weapons of Robot Masters.
However, while the series largely adapts the games, some liberties are taken. As shown in the image above, new characters were introduced. The two Robot Masters being created by another new character named Dr. Noele Lalinde, another former colleague of Dr. Light, as well as his love interest.
Other new characters include Gilbert D. Stern and Roslyn Krantz, a pair of federal agents (with the former not liking robots), as well as Xander Payne, the leader of an anti-technology terrorist group known as the Emerald Spears.
And now, it’s time for the Final Recommendation: Never Let Go Of It||Get It||Hold Onto It||Try It||Consider It||Stay Away From It
This comic is actually pretty charming and does a pretty good job adapting the characters and the games. And not just the numbered games like Mega Man 1, 2, and 3; but even Super Adventure Rockman, the game with Ra Moon. They even adapted Mega Man: Powered Up, a remake of MM1 that introduced Time Man and Oil Man. And speaking of Oil Man, Archie Mega Man managed to avoid controversy by having Oil Man constantly wear a red scarf over his mouth.
And the characters also interact with each other more, like Mega Man often tries to talk the Robot Masters down before being forced to fight. And Rock and Roll share a close relationship with the MM1 Robot Masters. So much so that when Roll takes a Buster Shot fired by Proto Man Break Man, the MM1 Robot Masters attack him in a fit of rage.
However, it doesn’t just adapt the games, having Mega Man jump from fighting the MM2 Robot Masters to fighting the Robot Masters from MM3. Often times between game adaptations, there are original stories. Like the Spiritus ex Machina arc, which is between the adaption of MM2 and 3, has Rock fight against the Emerald Spears, who took over the Advanced Robots and Trade Show (or A.R.T.S. Convention for short). There, the reader is introduced to Dr. Lalinde and her daughter/Robot Master assistant, Tempo (AKA Quake Woman), as well as giving an early introduction to Dr. Cossack, Pharaoh Man, and Kalinka before the events of MM4.
The series can also be pretty dark. As shown above, Needle Man demands Mega Man should kill him. This is just one example. Others include Mega Man executing Heat Man with a smile on his face after dousing him or when Mega Man becomes more and more violent and power-hungry when copying more of the Robot Masters from MM1. And a big one being Tempo who, in an accident, was buried under a lot rubble and severely damaged. Dr. Lalinde removed Tempo’s emotions in hopes of easing the pain of almost losing a daughter; by removing her emotions, Tempo would act more like a machine and less of a daughter. Thing is, Dr. Lalinde is called out for her actions and she reinstalls Tempo’s emotions, who spends several issues re-learning various emotions. We also learn that she suffers from heavy PTSD when it comes to being buried alive, thinking back to the initial cave-in and fearful Dr. Lalinde would remove her emotions again.
Now, I said the comic ended in December of 2015. That wasn’t entirely accurate. Actually, it went into an “indefinite hiatus”, meaning that it may continue someday and hasn’t been officially cancelled. From the research I’ve done, despite the praise from fans and critics, the comics aren’t selling as well as Capcom would hope. So if you want this comic to continue (I know I do), I would suggest buying some copies.
And before I end this, I want to mention that the series also had two crossover events with the Archie Sonic series, being known as Worlds Collide and Worlds Unite, with one leading directly into the universal reboot for the Archie Sonic series.
I’d also like to mention that the comic is full of references and call-backs. Like when Mega Man realizes how awful he’s been after copying the MM1 Robot Masters’ abilities, Dr. Light supports him, even by lifting lines from “Message from Dr. Light” by The Megas (and a few other references to them). Or when he’s fighting Air Man, the Robot Master repeatedly states that Mega Man can’t defeat him, references “Airman ga Taosenai” or “I Can’t Defeat Airman”. And Auto even refers to Mega Man as "blue and cyan, with a gun for a hand", referencing Brentalfloss’ Mega Man 3 Title WITH LYRICS”.
Well, I’ll see you guys next month. I’ll be taking a look at a... rather unconventional romance visual novel.

Many people think that Dr. Wily is not a scientist with bright mind, but he's actually a genius. The reason why he built a lot of robots to defeat Mega Man but all of them failed to stop Megaman was to test and analyze his robots' weaknesses through trial-and-error. Therefore, he had many chances to improve his knowledge and skills. That's why Wily's final project, Zero, was a success. Zero's body and structures are perfected and tweaked to withstand against plasma attack from busters; His servo are powerful enough to overpower a strong Reploid. That's why he managed to subdue and defeat X in hand-to-hand combat at his first awakening. If Sigma didn't arrive in time to intercept him, X would have been dead; His CPU and main controller are designed intesively to achieve maximum core speed (about 60GHz, compared to X's which is only 40Ghz) but also energy-efficient. That's why Zero has amazing reflexes.

I finished my first Custom set of Robots for my Electric Heart AU. Two of them aren't necessarily original... but I just think it would be cool to see them in a proper group is all. This adventure happens in place of the first four gameboy titles, when Dr. Wily randomly kidnaps and brainwashes the robots of a young scientist named Dr Lindsey Melody. As usual, Xaiver dons the persona of Mega man and sets out to track down the brainwashed bots, unaware Wily has an even bigger surprise for him later.
First, finally getting some spotlight, Bond man.
Based on one of Dr Light's scrapped concepts, Bond man is a construction robot who uses a strong adhesive where nails and bolts just don't seem to do the trick. He's big into building things with his hands and using his glue for any kind of job, be it a large scale construction project, or a simple paper craft he makes at home. His weapon, Bonding agent, is a glob of construction glue that freezes enemies in place, and it sends flying enemies crashing to the ground. I don't really know if Glue fits with any element... so he's Tech for it being a construction tool. His weakness is the Arctic Spiral, since cold temperatures can make some adhesives weaker and brittle.
Next is Geo woman, my AU equivalent to Quake woman from the archie comics.
Geo woman is a mining robot who specializes in collecting geological samples for scientific studies, who also likes to collect ores and minerals on the side. While some of the other robots find her hobbies a little boring, she's very polite and passionate about what intrests her. Her weapon, the Geode grinder, is a drill that digs along through the ground before turning sharply upwards when it hits an enemy or wall. Her element is Earth, and her weakness is Destructo Blast.
Now for my first original robot master, Kindle man.
Kindle man is a small furnace cleaning robot who cares about his mental spiritual well being. Despite how grumpy he looks, he loves company, and will even share his scented candles with anyone who asks politely. He also likes to attend meditation seminars with Magnet man. His Weapon, the Kindle Blaze, is a flaming match that splits into two flames when it hits a wall, floor, or ceiling, and it sets some enemies on fire. His weakness is the Water Spout, and his element is Fire.
Battery Woman
Battery Woman's job is to build and recharge specialized industrial grade batteries with multiple uses, and she has electrically charged hands and a high powered generator on her back to help with this. Knowing she's a really tall robot, she takes great pride in her height, able to look Guts man in the eye. Her weapon is tge Battery bomb, a battery shaped grenade that bounces around a little before exploding into electricity. Her weakness is the Geode grinder, in reference to electrical grounding, and her element is Tech, since batteries are a machine component.
Destructo Man, cause sometimes you want a TNT plunger robot.
Despite the stylistic fuses and old looking appearance, Destructo man doesn't actually launch bombs. To aid in his demolition of Wily castles or mining, he can send out an electronic signal to detonate any explosives set up by his assistants, or any of Wily's leftover Weapon cache. He has a bit of a temper, so to avoid blowing his top he tries listening to calming music when off duty. To Weaponize his ability, Wily modified his Destructo Blast to send out a specialized signal that causes weapon based electronics within his opponents to self destruct. For mega man, this is a screen wide attack that deals explosives damage to all enemies on screen. His element is Tech, and his weakness is the Fan Slasher, in reference to bomb defusal.
Meet Arctic Woman, who was inspired by some of Chill man's concept art from mm10.
Arctic Woman was built for arctic exploration and research as her name would imply, and she's able to modify an areas temperature to combat the effects of global warming lingering from past generations and the sadly slow efforts for clean energy in some areas. She also likes ice sculpting in her spare time, and she refuses to go anywhere without the special Scarf Needle man knitted for her. Her weapon is the Arctic Spiral, a sheild weapon that spirals outward to attack before returning to the user for defense. Her weakness is the Kindle Blaze, and her element is Water.
Spout Man, who was initially inspired by MM2 concept art for a water boss... but ended up straying away from the faucet nosed design I wanted to mimic initially.
Spout Man was created to maintain the irrigation system of a gigantic green house, and to water the plants inside. Despite his element being Water, he has a wealth of knowledge about gardening and plants. He absolutely dispises locusts, due to how quickly they can devour plants. His weapon is the Water Spout, a pressurized stream of water that bounces on walls, which bursts into splash damage that can hit multiple enemies when it hits a target. His weakness is the Battery bomb... because his water is full of nutrient rich, but conductive minerals.
Finally, there's Sky Woman, who was originally going to be named "Fan woman" but someone else suggested changing her name.
She was built for repairing wind mills, and using the fans on her back to help produce wind energy on days the natural wind gets a bit too weak. While she can blow enemies away from her with those fans, specialized joints they're connected to allow her to angke them or even fly. She loves flying, but hates Seagulls specifically as they seek to go out of their way to fly into her fans on purpose, causing her to crash land. Her Weapon us the Fan Slasher, a throwable blade that hovers in the air a bit, before fkying backwards like a boomerang, only it doesn't come back... Her element is Air, and her weakness is Bonding agent, since the glue stops up her fans.
Of course... there's a special smaller set after this group before I finally Draw the MM5 crew. How did I do?

i think the reason why wily works and sigma doesn’t, despite them both being the main and reoccurring villains of their respective series, is that the narrative in the classic series never lies to you about wily’s whereabouts.
in both the classic and x series, each game has the protagonist fight against multiple bosses, discover wily/sigma behind the attacks, and then defeat wily/sigma. except in the classic series, the player sees that wily escapes after he is defeated; the player is directly shown that the current battle (aka game) has been won, but the larger ‘war’ (aka series) is still continuing. in the x series, the player defeats sigma and is then told that sigma is destroyed, signalling an end to the series story..... except sigma then returns in the next game. And yes, part of this difference is that wily is human and sigma is a robot; but it doesn’t change the fact that wily’s escapes and sigma’s destructions heavily impact the overall story structure.
both series have the idea of history repeating itself; regardless of how many times the hero thwarts the villain’s plans, the villain always comes back with a new plan. but the classic series executes this much better by showing wily escape. the player can expect the larger series story to continue even after the individual story has ended. wily can and WILL return, and even in the games where wily isn’t immediately the villain (such as in Mega Man 4), the reveal that he is behind the obvious antagonist feels natural and almost expected since the player knows that wily never stopped being a major threat.
in the x series, the player is repeatedly told and shown at the end of the games that sigma is completely destroyed; in the first few games, the reveal that sigma is back works fine since it’s the beginning of the series and the themes and ideas are still being set up. but after those first games, the reveal that sigma isn’t actually dead despite being destroyed becomes tired; the series has shown that sigma will be the reoccurring villain, and so players have learned to expect him to return, except that the series continually insists that sigma has been destroyed and won’t return, leading to a disconnect between what the player actually knows and what the game is trying to tell what the player knows. the series, in short, is attempting to lie to someone who already knows the truth.
the twist that sigma is alive could work if the x series followed the classic series and showed sigma escape, or if sigma wasn’t actually the final villain in each game. vile’s an example of the second option; vile is shown to be destroyed in the first game, but reappears in the third and eighth game. his reappearance works because the player is not told to expect him. the stage bosses of the first x game aren’t fought in the second game, and so vile, one of these bosses, is reasonably expected to not show up again. in the third game, the stage bosses from the first and second games don’t appear.... except for vile. vile’s reappearance is a genuine surprise because the games have set the precedent for the minor bosses to only be fought in their original games; for one of these bosses to be fought again in a later game is unexpected and an authentic twist. applying this to sigma and having games where sigma is not the final boss would make the reveal that sigma’s alive feel more natural to the player’s expectations.
tl;dr wily works as a reoccurring villain because the game follows the player’s expectations in showing him escape and then return. sigma doesn’t work as a reoccurring villain because the game constantly argues with the player despite following expectations. in essence: player: sigma’s going to return x series: sigma’s not going to return x series: *sigma returns*

Robot Master Ideas V1
The basic plot is that Dr. Wily is running final tests on his greatest creation and unleashes 8 samples of the Z-Virus across the world infecting eight robots and turning them against humanity.
Data Man- Originally working in a massive data archive Data Man wasn’t built for combat. Once infected by the Z-Virus Data Man began collecting massive amounts of data stating that he alone was smart enough to understand it all. He also built himself a weapon he dubbed the Binary Blaster which shoots a burst of binary data at the target overloading its systems either stunning or destroying it. However Data Man is weak to most basic blasters and should his own blast be reflected at him he has no defense. Weapon: Binary Blaster (shoots a laser that stuns or destroys enemies) Weakness: Mega Buster/Prism Barrier
Miner Man- Originally working deep in a mine Miner Man was content with his existence until he was infected by the Z-Virus. After that he began causing earthquakes demanding that all the minerals of the Earth were his by right. When he swings down his pickax he unleashes a localized Earthquake he calls the Miner Quake. However due to his relatively simple programming he is especially weak to attacks on his software. Weapon: Miner Quake (can be charged to shake the entire screen) Weakness: Binary Blaster
Cyro Woman- Originally working in a cryogenics lab Cyro Woman was essential to the freezing temperatures needed using her Cyro Burst. Once infected with the Z-Virus though she turned her abilities on the scientists twisting her mission into preserving life on Earth by freezing the planet. Due to her complicated systems she is vulnerable to intense vibrations. Weapon: Cyro Burst (shoots a blast of sub-zero air) Weakness: Miner Quake
Plasma Man- Originally working in a factory Plasma Man used his Plasma Lance to cut through metal on a daily basis. After being infected by the Z-Virus he turned the factory against the human workers. Due to the intense heat needed to run his weaponry his systems are ill-prepared for sub-zero temperatures Weapon: Plasma Lance (shoots a pointed blast of intense heat) Weakness: Cyro Burst
Fisher Man- Originally stationed at a marine lab to study the effect of humanity on marine life Fisher Man was equipped with a hook and line made out of an experimental fiber. After his infection by the Z-Virus he decided the only way to save the oceans was to destroy humanity. The experimental fiber that makes his line cannot stand intense heat however. Weapon: Fishing Hook (Shoots a hook that can damage far away enemies or grab items) Weakness: Plasma Lance
Bushido Man- Built as part of an exhibit on ancient Japan he taught people about the samurai until he was infected by the Z-Virus. After that he grew arrogant and declared himself Shogun of the world. Armed with a blade of unknown composition he can slash through enemies however he lacks long range weapons or defense against such weapons Weapon: Bushido Blade (Slashes enemies close by) Weakness: Fishing Hook
Warp Woman- Originally working in a lab studying teleportation Warp Woman was equipped with the Tele Warp which allowed her to teleport at will. After her infection by the Z-Virus she used her weapon to teleport the scientists out of the lab and armed herself with a basic blaster. However her teleportation leaves her vulnerable for an instant after she teleports. Weapon: Tele Warp (shoots a burst of energy that passes through most obstacles and once signaled teleports the user to the end point damaging anything in the way) Weakness: Bushido Blade
Prism Man- Originally working in a lab studying light Prism Man was happy to assist in any way he could. His unique “eye” is in fact a camera surrounded by many smaller cameras allowing Prism Man to gather an incredible amount of data from his research. That changed when he was infected by the Z-Virus. He banished all the scientists and armed himself with the Prism Barrier, a shield capable of reflecting most energy attacks however some energy based attacks can get through. Weapon: Prism Barrier (Shield that reflects attacks) Weakness: Tele Warp

For those of you who haven’t been following the news of the past month or so, animation cels from a cancelled Rockman anime, which was in development by Ashi Productions back in 1992, were recently put up for sale. With the help of many of you in the Megaman community, max6464646464, Protodude, myself, and another donor were able to put together the right amount to be able procure these cels, once lost to time.
The 3 pieces are now divided up between three of us, and the cel now in my care is this one. This is one of the cels confirmed to be created by director/character designer Nobuyoshi Habara. Very reminiscent of Ruby Spears, with Proto Man shooting a fiery blast towards Mega Man, as Guts Man and Cut Man join in the attack above a decimated city. As the most action-styled of the three pieces, it totally was my favorite of the batch, and I am both grateful and thrilled to add it to my collection!
Max scanned all of the cels when they first arrived, which you can see linked in Protodude’s article here. But me being me, of course I had to scan this piece for myself as well, when it arrived yesterday. And I am bringing you a few additional scans, on top of the complete piece. These are versions you didn’t get to see when this was first shown off about 11 days ago. So, first up, let’s talk about the background. This background is actually comprised of 2 separate layers which are taped together. You can see them together in the 2nd image of this photoset. The back layer is a hand-painted sky with a few abstract buildings in the distance. Very simple shapes and lines to give that appearance of tall skyscrapers. You can see that in image #3. By itself, maybe not that cool to some. But when paired with the next layer, you can see how well it gives off that sense of depth and distance of the buildings. On top of that layer is a thicker, cutout piece that contains more detailed buildings that have sustained some pretty heavy damage. Wily’s robots certainly did a number on this city. I am not sure what the notation ‘281 Book’ is all about, but that is written on this piece. You can see this in image #4.
On the back of the sky background board, there are actually Xerox copy remnants of one of the other cels in this batch. Dr. Light is the most clear, but you can still make out a lot of Roll, Mega Man, Wily’s nose and moustache, and Proto Man’s mouth. Sadly, I can’t adjust the levels or brightness on this scan without washing out some of the lines, so it is not the whitest background for this scan. This is seen in image #5.
Next up, I’m sure many of you wanted to see the cel without the background behind it. So I also took the time to get a good scan of that, too, in image #6.
But, there is quite a bit of wear to the paint after all these years. Paint has chipped off in spots, there are smudges and lines on their faces and bodies, the flame blast, etc. I wouldn’t take the time to deface this revered relic by digitally repainting over all those areas that had paint loss and artifacts, would I...?
...I might have given it a little touchup...
It’s not perfect, but you can see the cleanest attempt I made at digitally restoring this cel in the final image of the set, #7.
Of course, tumblr resizing doesn’t help show these off in their full glory. So if you would like to view or save them at full 600 DPI resolution, you can check them out in their own album in my Google Photos gallery HERE.

Mega Man 6, known in Japan as Rockman 6: The Greatest Battle in History!!, is an action-platform video game developed by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the sixth installment in the original Mega Man series. It was originally released in Japan by Capcom in 1993, and in North America by Nintendo in 1994. It was included in the Mega Man Anniversary Collection released in 2004. Its first release in Europe and PAL region was June 11, 2013, for the 3DS Virtual Console, nearly twenty years after the game's initial release.
The story of Mega Man 6 opens during a competitive robot fighting tournament with entrants from all around the globe. A villainous figure known as "Mr. X" announces he has reprogrammed the eight powerful finalists with the intent to use them for taking over the world. The game's robotic protagonist Mega Man, who was sent to oversee the tournament, springs into action to foil X's plot. Mega Man 6 plays nearly identically to its five predecessors with a few added features such as stages with alternate pathways and new Rush adaptors.
Mega Man 6 is the first game in the series to receive character design input from fans outside Japan. This late-era game was also the last in the series released on Nintendo's 8-bit console, and the last game in the series with an 8-bit graphics style until Mega Man 9 in 2008. Due to the declining support of the NES and the growing presence of the newer and more powerful Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), Capcom decided not to publish Mega Man 6 in North America, so it was released by Nintendo in North America. The game received positive reviews, with critics praising the gameplay and use of the established gameplay model from preceding chapters in the series, though it was criticized for not innovating much compared to its predecessors.
Mega Man 6's story takes place after the events of Mega Man 5. To counter Dr. Wily's repeated attacks, the Global Robot Alliance was formed, and one year later the "First Annual Robot Tournament" is held in order to determine the world's strongest peacekeeping robot. The tournament is hosted by a man known only as "Mr. X," the leader of the mysterious "X Foundation" and many strong robots participate. Dr. Light, a pacifist, decides not to enter the competition, but sends the robotic hero Mega Man to supervise it. Before the event can begin, however, Mr. X announces that he has reprogrammed eight of the strongest contestants to do his bidding in taking over the world: Blizzard Man, Centaur Man, Flame Man, Knight Man, Plant Man, Tomahawk Man, Wind Man, and Yamato Man, and tells Mega Man he had been manipulating Dr. Wily from the beginning. Following this, Mega Man and Rush set out to put an end to Mr. X's plan. Mega Man destroys the eight Robot Masters, then makes his way to Mr. X's fortress. The villain is beaten and quickly reveals himself as none other than a disguised Dr. Wily. The evil scientist flees to a new fortress stronghold where Mega Man pursues and defeats him again. The game ends with Dr. Wily finally brought to justice and sent to prison.
The gameplay in Mega Man 6 is largely similar to its five NES predecessors. The player takes control of Mega Man to complete a series of side-scrolling platform stages littered with smaller robot enemies and occasional larger mini-bosses. The player's primary method of attack is the "Mega Buster" cannon, which can be charged for more powerful shots. At the end of each of the initial eight stages is a boss battle, where the player inherits that Robot Master's unique "Master Weapon" if successful. These eight levels can be completed in any order, although all Robot Masters are weak to a specific Master Weapon, adding an element of strategy to the order chosen by the player. The player's health is represented by a gauge that can be refilled by picking up energy pellets. Extra lives, reserve energy tanks, and pellets that refill Master Weapon power can also be found throughout each level. Mega Man 6 introduces the "Energy Balancer", which automatically refills the weapon with the lowest energy when picking up Master Weapon power.
Previous Mega Man games typically allowed the player to call on the transformable dog Rush or use other support items in order to traverse difficult or otherwise inaccessible parts of a stage. Mega Man 6 instead features a pair of "Rush Adaptors" that fuse Mega Man and Rush into special forms. The first, "Jet Mega Man", lets the player fly upward or hover for a brief period of time, but prevents the use of charge shots. The second, "Power Mega Man", utilizes a powerful, short-range punch attack for destroying large blocks. The player cannot slide when using either adapter. Mega Man 6 also presents less linear ways to complete the stages than in previous entries in the series. There are two pathways in many of the stages that lead to boss rooms, but the player is often required to use one of the Rush adaptors to begin an alternate route. Although either one will clear the stage, only one of them will give the player a letter circuit board for assembling the helper bird Beat. Collecting all four parts will allow the player to call on Beat to attack enemies.

37. Concert Crasher
The episode begins with a park at night. Everybody is heading towards the stage. A robotic woman comes up on the stage. She waves to the crowd. She sweetly greets them. "Hello everybody and welcome to my concert" She says to the eager crowd "You're all really going to enjoy this little number!" She begins singing. The Skullker is behind the stage. Proto Man asks Dr. Wily "Why not just use Splash Woman instead?" Dr. Wily replies "Mega Man has dealt with Splash Woman before. He will immediately know that it's her and will try to destroy her as soon as he lays his blue eyes on her! We must not be suspicious this time, Proto!" Proto Man goes "Aaah! I see! Very clever there, doc!" Everyone, robot and human, is enamored by the robotic woman's singing. Dr. Wily smiles evilly, knowing what will happen next. Back at Dr. Light's lab, Dr. Light is playing Beethoven in the main lab while he works on his projects. Mega Man is elsewhere in the main lab, repairing the large screen. Mega Man has listened to Beethoven for a few now and is getting rather tired of it. Mega Man asks Dr. Light "Hey Dr. Light, is it okay if I switch the music to something else? No offense but, I think I've had enough classical music for today!" Dr. Light replies "It's quite alright with me, Mega Man! Go ahead and switch it!" Mega Man is happy and says "Thanks!" He jumps down from his workplace and goes over to the computer that is playing the music. He presses a few buttons. The music changes to rock and roll music. Dr. Light is a bit disturbed by the music, but keeps his opinions about it to himself so as not to upset Mega Man about his taste in music. "There!" Mega Man says "Much better!" He returns to repairing the big screen. Roll enters the main lab with Dr. Light's lunch. As she is placing the tray down, she is telling both Dr. Light and Mega Man about a new robot singer that is getting attention and fame. Mega Man asks her if she has heard her music yet. She tells him "Only a little bit..." Mega Man asks her "How do you know if she's good just by her music?" Dr. Light says "Yes, Roll, not everything is what it seems..." Roll answers "She just...is..." Roll is about to change the music on the computer. "Here, I'll show you guys!" she says as she is about to press a button on the computers control panel. Mega Man finally gets the big screen working. "There! All fixed!" he says in triumph. The big screen turns on. The news report is on. Bree Ricarda is reporting on the trending robot singer who, according to her, is "the hottest thing right now since molten metal!" She says that the singer is going to be performing at the urban amphitheater. Roll is excited to hear this news. "Did you hear that, everyone!" Roll exclaims. "Yes, Roll...your new favorite singer is going to be in the city!" Mega Man says to her. Dr. Light tekks her that she can attend the concert and that Mega Man can come along too. "Oh, great!" Mega Man groans. Later that day, Mega Man, Roll, and Rush drive down to where the urban amphitheater is. They see that the stage has not been set up yet. Mega Man tells Roll "Lemme get out and have a good look around. You guys stay in the car!" Mega Man gets out of the car and walks down to the amphitheater. Guts Man and Cut Man are setting up a stage. Cut Man asks Guts Man "When is our star arriving here?" Guts Man tells Cut Man "Very soon! Just keep buildin'!" Mega Man walks over to the urban amphitheater. He sees that Guts Man and Cut Man are there finishing up the stage. Mega Man knows that when Guts Man and Cut Man are doing something, it's usually with evil and harmful intent. He walks up nearby them to keep a good eye on them. Guts Man and Cut Man see Mega Man. Cut Man cries out "Mega Dweeb must be here to stop the show!" Guts Man then says "Well, what are we waiting for!? Let's crush him!" They both attack Mega Man. Guts Man lifts up a large piece of rubble and throws it at Mega Man, while Cut Man throws the cutter on his head at him. Mega Man dodges their attacks. Guts Man jumps up and down hard onto the ground. This causes the ground around him to break and tremble. Mega Man falls down onto the ground. Guts Man picks up another large piece of rubble. He goes over to Mega Man and raises it above his head, getting ready to crush him with the large piece of rubble. Guts Man says to Mega Man "You're about to get squashed, blue bug! Ha ha ha ha ha!" Guts Man slams it down on him. Mega Man rolls away, nearly avoiding getting crushed by the rubble. Cut Man yells out to Guts Man "Guts Man! He's gotten away!" Mega Man fires at Cut Man and knocks him out. He goes over to him and copies his Rolling Cutter weapon. He goes over to Guts Man. He fires some Rolling Cutters at him and cuts him up into parts. "Scissors beats rock! What are the odds of that!" Mega Man says to himself. A tour bus drives up next to their car. The singer is inside of the bus. She gets out and surveys the amphitheater. She sees that Guts Man and Cut Man have been vanquished. As Mega Man heads back to his car, the singer yells at him "What have you done to my stagehands!?" Mega Man tells her "Those were your stagehands!?" The singer shouts back "Yes, they were my stagehands! And now they're out of service! You've ruined my concert, you blue lump of scrap!" Mega Man tells her "You need to pick your stagehands more wisely!" Star Man and Jewel Man get out of the bus. Star Man asks the singer "Something wrong here?" The singer points at Mega Man and tells them "He's taken down my stagehands! My show is not going to be on time because of him!" Mega Man simply shrugs at her. Jewel Man tells the singer "Don't worry, ma'am, we'll sort him out!" Star Man and Jewel Man prepare to use their shields against Mega Man. Mega Man shoots a Rolling Cutter at them, but it bounces off Star Man's Star Crash shield and ends up slashing through the bus' tires. The bus tips over and is going to fall down on the singer. Mega Man tells at the singer "You're working for Wily, aren't you!?" The singer replies "I don't have time to talk to you! I'm about to get crushed!" Mega Man uses her predicament as a way to escape his enemies. He quickly jumps into the car and drives out of the amphitheater. "We need to make a drive for it before they get a chance to fight back!" Mega Man says to Roll as they quickly drive out of the amphitheater. Star Man and Jewel Man see that the bus is going to fall on the singer. "Quick! Help me!" Star Man yells out to Jewel Man. Jewel Man embraces her and has his Jewel Shield surround both of them while Star Man fires his stars at the bus. "I'll protect you!" Jewel Man says to the singer before the bus falls down on them. The singer and Jewel Man emerge out of the other side of the bus. The singer angrily screams out "That blue abomination owes me a new tour bus and repairs for my stagehands!" and shakes her fists. The good robots return to Dr. Light's lab. As they walk into the lab, Dr. Light asks "What happened? Was the concert cancelled?" "Afraid so..." Mega Man tells his creator "...on account of the singer paling around with Dr. Wily!" Dr. Light is surprised by what Mega Man has told him. "Are you serious!?" he asks his creation. Roll says to him "Yes he is, Dr. Light! We saw them with our very eyes, didn't we Rush?" Rush barks to Roll to confirm what she had said. Dr. Light still can't believe that the concert singer is one of Dr. Wily's minions. Suddenly, an emergency call comes up on one of the monitors in the main lab. Dr. Light quickly runs up to the monitor and answers the call. The police chief shows up on the monitor. He tells Dr. Light "Get Mega Man and Rush over here now! Humans and robots are causing havok downtown!" Dr. Light tells the police chief "Calm down! I will get them there as fast as I can!" Mega Man tells Rush "That's our cue! Let's jet!" Rush nods and turns into his Jet Form. As usual, Mega Man gets on him and they both fly out of the lab. Mega Man and Rush are flying over the city. Mega Man sees that humans are running amok. A crowd of humans and robots are rampaging through the city. They are breaking the display windows of shops. Some of them are even stopping traffic. Police cars drive up to stop the rampagers. Mega Man is shocked at the spectacle below him. "Jumping springs, Rush! It's chaos down there!" Mega Man exclaims. He then tells Rush "Let's bring some order!" They fly down to the city. The police robots are nearly overwhelmed by the raging mob. Some of the humans and robots grab iron bars and attack the police bots. Mega Man yells out "I gotta disarm them!" He fires at the iron bars they are wielding. The iron bars are fired out of their grasps. The police bots give thumbs ups to Mega Man and Rush. Mega Man shoots back a thumbs up at the police bots. Rush attempts to as well, but all he can do is put a paw up. The humans and robots are now focusing their attention at Mega Man. They grab some heavy objects and throw them at Mega Man. Mega Man dodges the objects, while the police bots return the favor and restrain the humans and robots. One of the police bots calls for back up. Some police vehicles drive up to their location. The police bots put the humans and robots into them. Some humans that were rampaging through the city earlier go up to where all the sirens are coming from. They see that some humans and robots have been arrested and apprehended. One of the humans shout out "Avenge them!" Mega Man is a bit intimidated by the incoming angry mob headed in his direction. One of the police bots tells Mega Man "Don't worry, Mega Man, we're used to these kinds of situations!" Some riot control police bots show up and make a line. They aim their bullhorn-like devices at the mob. The devices emit high-pitched pulses that cause the angry crowd to cover their ears and cower to the ground. Mega Man and Rush are covering their ears. Mega Man looks at Rush and comments "Loud, but effective!" Rush nods and grimaces as he covers his ears with his front paws. Mega Man sees that the angry mob is now under control. He and Rush get away from the scene in order to get away from the noise. Meanwhile, Dr. Wily's robots and the singer go up to a bank. As they walk up to the entrance, the singer tells the evil robots "Let me charm them first, then you guys can go in and scoop up the loot!" Guts Man replies "Yes ma'am!" Star Man tells Guts Man and Cut Man "Get as much of the loot as you can! Dr. Wily needs a whole truckload of it!" The evil robots enter the bank. The humans and robots in the bank see them coming in and run out of the building. The singer goes up to one of the bank teller robots. The bank teller robot tells the singer "It's you! We're your biggest fans!" The singer replies "Ha ha ha! Of course you ladies are!" She tells the female robot "Let us access the vault!" The teller replies "Sure thing! Anything for you!" The bank teller robots go over to the police bots and tell them to let the robot masters through. The police bots protest. The bank teller robots plead with them. The police robots still refuse to move away from the vault's massive metal door. The bank teller robots look over to the robot masters and say to them "Looks like you'll have to convince them yourselves!" Cut Man and Star Man go over to the police bots. Cut Man cuts up one of the police bots with his Rolling Cutter weapon. Star Man uses his Star Crash weapon on the other police bot. Both of the police bots have now been vanquished. Cut Man tells Guts Man "You can tear off the door now, Guts Man! Ahe ahe ahe!" Guts Man booms out "Finally!" Guts Man goes over to the vault. He rips off the vault's heavy door. He hurls it aside. He shows the robot masters the way in and says "It's all yours, boys!" The evil robots enter the vault. The singer meanwhile waits outside in the bank's lobby. Inside the vault, Jewel Man sees all of the ingots and says "Such beautiful precious metals!" They gather up the ingots. As the evil robots leave the bank, a person calls the police. The police in return call up Mega Man. But Mega Man is too late, the bad robots have already left. Mega Man is upset that he and Rush were too late. Mega Man and Rush are about to leave for home when Mega Man gets a call on his arm cannon. Dr. Light tells him that a top secret electronics research lab is being broken into. Mega Man and Rush make their way to the research laboratory. At the secret research laboratory, the Skullker is nearby. Dr. Wily is telling Proto Man how very well the singer is assisting his robots. Proto Man tells Dr. Wily "I still think we should have just used Splash Woman again..." Dr. Wily ignores Proto Man's comment and tells him "The next concert will take place at Monster Park in the middle of the city." On their way to the secret laboratory, Mega Man says down to Rush "Two situations in one day! That's a new record for us!" Mega Man looks up and says "I sure hope this situation isn't as bad as the last one!" They finally arrive at the laboratory. Mega Man sees that they have already broken into the laboratory. "Blast! I'm too late!" he yells out. He runs into the laboratory anyway. He follows the holes that were blasted into the walls and doors. He ends up in an electronics research room. He sees that the scientists are giving the singer the top secret electronics. Mega Man yells at the scientists "What are you doing!?" The singer is upset that Mega Man has found them yet again. She yells at him "Will you quit tormenting us with your wretched appearances!?" Mega Man yells back "Only if you quit getting people to let you and your robo roadies break the law!" The singer looks at Bright Man and tells him "Bright Man! Do something, will you!?" Bright Man goes over to Mega Man. Mega Man is about to fire at him. Bright Man uses his Flash Stopper on Mega Man. Mega Man is paralyzed by the blinding light. Bright Man chuckles and says to Mega Man "Thanks for holding still for me! Ha ha ha ha!" Guts Man carries Mega Man over to the tour bus. Mega Man can only watch as he is taken away to a secret warehouse. "Let's put 'im in storage! Ha ha ha ha!" Guts Man gloats as they enter the warehouse. The door shuts behind them. Mega Man's arms and legs are locked in cone-like metal restraints. Bright Man tells Mega Man tauntingly "Now be a good little robot and stay there while we put on a little show! Ha ha ha ha!" They leave the room. Mega Man frowns angrily as they close the large metal door behind them. Mega Man looks down at his restraints and tries to pull his arms out of them. Two screens turn on in the room that he is restrained in. Mega Man looks up at the screens and sees that the singer is going on the stage. She welcomes the audience to her concert. She tells them "I have a lot in store for you guys tonight!" She begins singing. Mega Man cries out "I've got to stop her! Now!" He pulls harded at his restraints, but he still cannot break out of them. He gets another idea. He says to himself "Let's see if this works!" He charges up his plasma cannon. He fires it into the restraint. The restraint explodes as it is blown apart by the fully charged plasma blast. He pulls his hand out, looks at his freed arm, and says "Even restraints can't hold me back!" He blasts off the remaining restraints and gets out of them. He runs over to the screens and sees that the audience is starting to fall under the singers control. He says out loud "I hope I'm not too late!" He goes over to the large metal door and fires a fully charged blast at it, blowing it clean off. He runs out of the room and yells out "I've got a concert to cancel!" He makes his way out of the building. Meanwhile, the singer is still singing her songs. The audience is now under her control. She smiles evilly as she sings. Back at the warehouse, Mega Man makes it out of the warehouse. He hears a familiar voice coming from the warehouse. "Mega! Mega! Awooo!" the familiar voice cries out. Mega Man heads back into the warehouse. He looks around for the voice. He comes across a room filled with all sorts of musical instrument storage cases. The voice cries out from one of the cases. The case is moving around and howling. "Mega! Mega! In here!" the voice cries out again. Mega Man goes over to the case and opens it. Rush plops out of the case. "Rush!" Mega Man cries out. Rush wags his tail and barks happily at Mega Man. Mega Man tells Rush "We can hug and kiss later! We need to stop Wily's client before she causes even more chaos!" Mega Man and Rush run out of the warehouse. Rush turns into his Jet Form. Mega Man gets on him and they fly off to Monster Park. At Monster Park, Mega Man and Rush land far behind the concert. They sneak their way to the concert. Luckily for them, everyone is too enamored with the singer to notice that Mega Man and his robo dog are crashing the concert. The singer sings yet another song. As she is singing, she scans the cheering croud. The singer sees that Mega Man has escaped from his restraints in the building. She yells out to him "You're not supposed to be here!" Mega Man yells back "And you're not supposed to enslave your loyal fans into being soldiers for your manager!" The singer responds "I have a great manager! How dare you expose him!" "Oh? Like how I've exposed you as Dr. Wily's latest recruitment tool?" Mega Man says to her. The singer yells out "Now you've really done it!" She commands the audience "Attack that concert crasher!" She yells out "Throw him out in pieces!" The audience attacks him. Mega Man backs away from them. They crowd around him and begin to overwhelm him. Mega Man is afraid of firing at them for fear of harming innocents. "Don't make me use this!" Mega Man yells out at them. He nervously says to them "I would really, really hate to use this!" He decides that the best course of action is to get out of the crowd. He ducks and slides between the legs of some of the members of the audience. As he is sliding out of the crowd, and individual trips over him. The individual thinks another person has done it, and fights them. This causes the audience to turn against each other. They end up forgetting entirely about Mega Man. The singer sees that the audience is fighting each other. She commands Star Man and Jewel Man to go after Mega Man. She shouts at them "Star Man! Jewel Man! Stop him!" They jump off of the stage and run after him. They both fire their respective weapons at Mega Man. Mega Man shoots at them, but they are protected by their weapons. Jewel Man says to Mega Man "My shield is flawless!" Star Man adds on "So is mine!" Mega Man gets yet another idea. He has Star Man and Jewel Man pursue him. "Come and get me, robo whimps!" Mega Man yells at them. They follow him to the front of the stage. Mega Man makes a face at them and goes "Can't your shields do more than protect your miserable metal hides!?" The two robot masters use their weapons again. The two robot masters use their weapons again. Mega Man jumps out of the way of the oncoming stars and jewels. The projectiles hit the giant speaker that Mega Man was in front of and destroys it. The huge speaker explodes, the resulting loud boom startles the robot masters. Mega Man fires two fully charged shots at them. Both Star Man and Jewel Man are knocked out. Mega Man goes over to Jewel Man and copies his weapon, and then over to Star Man and copies his Star Crash weapon. "Thanks for sharing!" Mega Man says to the downed robot masters. The singer sees that they have been defeated. She screams at the remaining evil robots to stop Mega Man. "Stop him! He's ruining my concert!" she screams. Proto Man yells out to her as they run and jump off the stage "Alright! Alright! We'll take care of him!" Mega Man sees that the three wicked robots are jumping off of the stage and firing their weapons at him. Mega Man steps back and uses his Star Crash weapon. He yells out to them "Don't you guys remember? I'm a star!" Cut Man and Proto Man fire at him, but their weapons glance off of the orbiting stars going around Mega Man. "Now you're really going to see stars!" Mega Man shouts at them. He then throws his Star Crash weapon at them. Cut Man is knocked out, but Proto Man barely survives the weapon. He fires at Mega Man. "Take this!" Proto Man yells out. Mega Man uses his Jewel Shield to reflect the shots back at Proto Man. "Take that!" Mega Man comments as Proto Man dodges his reflected shots. Proto Man fires a fully charged shot. "Here's some rocks for you!" Mega Man yells out. He hurls the jewels surrounding him at Proto Man. The jewels breaks Proto Man up into parts. Guts Man watches as Proto Man's parts fall onto the ground along with the jewels that caused his demise. He looks up at Mega Man. Mega Man gestures him to take him on. Guts Man charges at him while exclaiming "Grrr, yer gonna get it now!" Mega Man uses both the Star Crash and the Jewel Shield on him. Guts Man falls to pieces. "That takes care of that lughead!" Mega Man says to himself. Mega Man then jumps up onto the stage. The singer sees him getting onto the stage. She gasps and cries out "G-get away from me! Don't your hurt me!" Mega Man confronts the singer. "Alright! Your musical career is over!" Mega Man yells at her. The singer responds "No! It will never be over!" The singer calls up Dr. Wily on her headset. She tells Dr. Wily "Mega Man's breached the stage! He's up here threatening me!" Dr. Wily is upset by the developing news. He presses a button on the Skullker's control panel. The singer asks Mega Man "What are you going to do? Shoot me?" Mega Man says to her "Not unless you have some sort of trick up your robotic sleeve!" The singer looks around. She is upset that Dr. Wily hasn't intervened yet. Mega Man aims his cannon at her, ready for anything she will do against him. As Mega Man steps closer towards her, two large spaced drill pop out of the stage. A large goblin head bursts out of the stage. The singer is delighted. She jumps onto the goblin head and laughs evilly as she flies away. Mega Man yells out "You're not getting away that easily!" He whistles for Rush. Rush hears Mega Man and flies over to him. Mega Man has Rush turn into the Jet Adapter. Rush does so. Mega Man and Rush combine. Super Mega Man flies after the large goblin head. The singer sees that Super Mega Man is pursuing her. She gives Mega Man an evil smile and flies over the crowd. She continues singing. Through song, she commands the crowd to throw stuff at Super Mega Man. Super Mega Man quickly jets towards her. The crowd begins throwing stuff at him. "Hey! Cut that out!" Super Mega Man yells down at the attacking crowd. The singer sees that he is distracted by her loyal fans, and uses his distraction as an opportunity to finish him off. She has the large goblin head fire out smaller goblins out of its nose. Super Mega Man hears the small goblins heading towards him. He dodges them and then destroys them with his plasma cannon. More of the small goblins emerge from the larger goblin's nose. Super Mega Man is pursued by the small goblins. He flies low over the crowd to trick them into throwing things at the small goblins instead of him. The small goblins get knocked down by the overzealous crowd. Super Mega Man says to the crowd "Thanks everyone for your help!" Some of the people pull on one of his wings and pull him down into the angry crowd. The singer smiles sinisterly, thinking that he has finally been vanquished. She congratulates the crowd, not knowing that Super Mega Man is sneaking through the crowd to utilize the element of surprise. Super Mega Man jets up behind her and fires at her, knocking her off of the large goblin. The large goblin turns around to face Super Mega Man. Super Mega Man yells out "Here's something to clear your nose!" and fires a fully charged shot into its nose. The large goblin shorts out and explodes. The singer lies on the ground, she gets up and tries to sing. But she short circuits and falls back on the ground. Everybody breaks free from her control. Super Mega Man lands onto the ground. The crowd comes to and breaks up. Dr. Wily sees that she has been defeated. "Oh well..." he says to himself "I can always find another desparate soul..." The Skullker quitely picks up the vanquished robot masters' parts and hovers away. Mega Man and Rush return to their normal states. Mega Man contacts the police bots with his arm cannon. Mega Man tells the weakened singer "Your tour has come to an end!" The police bots quickly arrive in their squad cars and apprehend the singer while Mega Man and Rush look on. They go get Roll and all three of them return home. Mega Man and his allies are glad that the singer has been jailed. Mega Man allows Rush to choose the kind of music to listen to this time. Rush jumps on the computer and presses some buttons on the computer's control panel. Heavy metal music bursts out of the computers speakers. Mega Man, Roll, and Dr. Light cover their ears out of discomfort from the rather loud music. Mega Man comments "Rush sure has a unique taste in music!" Roll comments back "If you ask me, he ought to change his music choices!" The episode ends with Rush dancing on the control panel while playing an air guitar and humming along to the music.
