Industrial poultry farms face tough new regulations around the disposal of chicken manure after a judge ruled it can be classified as waste and requires a detailed and transparent plan to dispose of it without damaging the environment. The high court ruling means new US-style mega-farms in Herefordshire will have to deal with poultry manure as if it was industrial waste. The ruling has implications for industrial chicken units all over the country. It comes as the English and Welsh governments announced £1m in funding to investigate the devastating pollution of the River Wye, where about 23m chickens are being produced in the river catchment at any one time. The health of the river, which flows for 155 miles from mid-Wales to the Severn estuary in England, has been downgraded by Natural England from “unfavourable-improving” to “unfavourable-declining”, meaning its condition is poor and worsening. Its decline has been linked to intensive chicken farming in the catchment from the spreading of poultry manure, which contains high levels of phosphate, on to fields, which then leaches into the river. Studies have shown 70% of the phosphate in the River Wye catchment comes from agriculture, although not all is chicken-related. One study recommended an 80% reduction in poultry manure in the Wye catchment to protect the river and called for a cut in the overall number of birds and for the exporting of manure out of the area.

Okay, technically the storebought coffee alternative I'm drinking right now is a drink mix made from mushrooms versus actual mushroom coffee. But for simplification sake it's mushroom coffee :]

While these shots are in creative, I've already built the island, trunk and branches in survival on the ROG SMP. Lots and lots of grinding. Like, a week's worth, at least, and around 15 hours of build time, all done solo. Still need to place all of the leaves, but I've already gathered all the mats!

Why did I design this massive tree and island, you ask? Why, to hide my industrial area which currently includes: guardian farm, super smelter, cactus farm, and guardian farm's afk spot (which is also a tree farm), of course! That's the sane thing to do, right?!

Island: cyan terracotta, stone, moss, grass, tuff, mycelium, cobblestone, dirt, sea lanterns, moss carpet, and glow lichen

Bark: acacia wood, basalt, sea lanterns, gray carpet, and glow lichen

Leaves: green stained glass & panes, lime stained glass & panes, yellow stained glass & panes, azalea leaves, oak leaves, moss and soooooo many sea lanterns.

Below is where it's at in survival. So hard to get ALL of it in a screenshot and looks a bit odd due to the lower view and FOV. It's 100% spawn proof to keep the guardian farm rates from falling.

Almost 300,000 blocks total when done (not including the farms themselves), and goes from sea level to build height.

Do any of you guys play video games?

I have an Insta dedicated just to my video games. I play all kinds of games from hack-and-slash to shooter but for the most part I post my cozy games because they involve so much decorating and they're prettier.

The cozy games I have played/am playing are Animal Crossing New Horizons, Stardew Valley, Disney Dreamlight Valley, Coral Island, House Flipper, Dinkum, My Time At Portia, My Time At Sandrock, Grow: Song of the Evertree, Fae Farm, Farm Together, No Place Like Home, Cozy Grove, Hokko Life, and a little of Palia though admittedly I'm having a hard time staying interested in Palia.

I've also been playing Hogwarts Legacy, Dragon Quest Builders 2, Witcher III Wild Hunt and have played Dying Light, Days Gone, The Division, Fallout IV, Halo, Fable, Destiny and many more.

Anyway, I made this post in case you guys wanna give me a follow. I'm usually not the type to shamelessly plug but ever since they changed Instagram to only showing people the top posts when they search something, I get absolutely ZERO interactions on my posts. It's crazy. My account wasn't super popular or anything but I at least got SOME feedback before. I hate what they've done to Instagram.
