Attempting Australian inspired landscape design in Minecraft. I'm pretty happy with the block palette for the ground. The darker areas represent areas of higher organic matter which accumulates with vegetation. And lots of flowers!!! Inspired by my trip to the mallee during wildflower season. Every flower choice corresponds to a real life species (though not necessarily from the same location)

stage 3 complete

after about 45 days of on and off creative building, 200,000+ blocks then 1 week spent building it on server with myself putting in 16 hour days of building. i am finallly done with my first major build project (ever)- "The Sword's End". Featuring redstone puzzles similar to the style of adventure maps, a hall so incredibly long that completely explodes if you do one thing wrong, and a fully functioning guardian plinko machine... more screenshots below and details below [screenshot credits @vacillantvoid @cogmented @mering @princezamlovesthedishwasher @holybasementdweller, stage room built by cogmented as well ]

Minecraft Small Oak House! A complete survival house made out of easy-ish blocks to get!

I wanted to make a house with mainly oak blocks, cause I feel like that's a block that I always find (almost) everywhere, so why not, right? And cobblestone, cause I always have loads of that. The whole interior of the build is quite cozy, imo, and it has always the features u might need on your base, from your personal mineshaft to an enchantment setup. Anyway, this was the result!!
