I recently took part in the 2000ad Art Stars one page Judge Dredd story contest, I didn't win and unfortunately the coloring a little off; I worked really hard on it I think did pretty well considering my lack experience. I hope fans of 2000ad and Judge Dredd enjoy it, I had a lot fun embracing the punk rock sprint of the magazine.

#799#guzzlord#pokemon from memory#Y’know how this thing sounds in the anime#Rip to the voice actor’s voice#Just screaming in the studio#Anyway look at this thing#It looks like a dusknoir evolution/mega evo to me#Not the one I drew necessarily but the canon artwork#It’s got the mouth thingy anyway#But honestly this is a creature I feel bad for#Like existing must be so hard#Like it just never feels full?#And it’s so big so there isn’t even enough food around probably#Ergo the destroying a city in the alternate dimension#At least I think that was part of its lore#So I checked the Pokédex entries and it just eats a lot I guess#But one entry made a point of mentioning its droppings#Or lack thereof#thats right: canonically this thing doesn’t shit#Which then brings up the additional point:#Canonically I guess all the other pokemon do shit#Bc why else would you mention it as strange#I only bring this up bc one time there was an interview where I believe they claimed pokemon don’t make waste#But rather it…somehow comes out while they use a move?#Like I guess burning off waste products to use a move?#Anyway I’m sorry#I didn’t think I’d end up discussing the shitting patterns of pokemon with this one#But there you go

250 pages in and I finally understand the nature of the megacity. it encircles the five great lakes to ensure access to fresh water, bc this is a post-post-apocalyptic #future where much of north america is uninhabitable and lacking in clean water. everyone from the central and eastern states converged around the great lakes. no word on california, they may have all died
