This is the second episode of our video series "Morning in Athens"! Enjoy! In this episode we visited the neighborhood of Plaka and we climbed the hill of Acropolis. Anafiotika is a scenic tiny neighborhood of Athens, part of the old historical neighborhood called Plaka. It lies in northerneast side of the Acropolis hill. The first houses were built in the era of Otto of Greece, when workers from the island of Anafi came to Athens in order to work as construction workers in the refurbishment of King Othon's Palace.

The best road trips are the ones with no real destination, the ones that you can get lost for hours. The only thing you have to do is get in the car with your friend, put on music and just wander around. When you see the most beautiful place -we were searching for the perfect beach- you stop.. It's the best escape from your routine and your worries. Don't be afraid to get lost because that's the only way you can find yourself.. So..that's what we did this weekend! Enjoy our video and have a great summer everyone!
