you can behave like other species even if you dont identify as them, you know.

you can howl even if youre not a wolf. you can climb trees even if youre not arboreal. you can wear a collar even if youre not domestic. you can do quads even if youre bipedal. you can nest and chirp even if youre not a bird. you can bark even if youre not a dog. you can purr and make biscuits even if youre not a cat. you can do vocals even if your species is silent. heck, you can even make yourself a yarn tail even if youre not a mammal.

there's no alterhuman police, no one is gonna come and tell you that you cant have fun with your identity. the best part of ah identities is that you literally cant do it wrong (except for being hateful to others). and maybe, youll even discover something about yourself you didnt know before!

now go. go be the local cryptid youve always wanted to be.

Note

The literal best thing for species dysphoria for me was this cheap gas station beef jerky. I think the gas station owner dried it himself because it was incredibly tough and dry, most folks don't touch it. Thankfully for me however it's like a human safe version of a rawhide for dogs. It's strangely affirming to gnaw on some tough meat stick with all my might for nearly an hour.

Like chewy stim toys just never worked for me since I would tear them up and end up feeling super tempted to eat the plastic (dumb dog moment) and squeaky toys were too loud, but those beef jerky sticks are perfect. They're edible AND quiet

as someone who is a predator/omnivore in all of my kins (or I simply require no food), I cannot imagine being vegan or vegetarian. Tbh its kind of seems like a nightmare for me. The desire for meat is so deeply ingrained in me, I don't know what I would do if I couldn't have it.

It's funny how I never understood why humans are so mad and disturbed when it comes to cannibalism. I somehow had never a problem with the thought of trying human meat at least once...

But then I imagined how I would feel if someone would put a cooked wolf on my plate...

...now I get it

it makes me SOSOSOSAD because fishies are my favorite. so much i call them fishies(affectionate)!

so i doesnt eat fishies. too sad to even THINK!!!

but other alters like to, and we have food troubles so cant really complain what we eat. personally i think better fed than dead.

I always forget that my polymorph kintype is techically Also an eldritch horror...it was always about transforming in really horrific and way too much teeth ways... but end up in a cute little guy!!! Also if destabilized it's like a weird blob thing with too many eyes and teeth.
