You turn your head, eyes fluttering open. Your bed is lonely--no sign of Kylo anywhere. Frowning, you ease up, searching your room. He was here last night, just hours ago you'd felt his chest at your back, and now... You cross into the refresher, hoping to find him there. Empty. A groan escapes you. You'd hoped for at least today he'd stay with you, that you'd find him under your sheets and in your arms. But perhaps you were asking for too much. You roll out of bed and into your uniform.

At your post, you toss your datapad like a stone onto your desk, plopping down in front of the screen and slogging through your shift-start routine. Working in the command center of the Supremacy was mind-numbing, at times—but without this position, you never would’ve met the Supreme Leader. A colleague spins in her chair, pausing from the cannon temperatures to wiggle her fingers at you. “Hey!” she says. “Happy birthday.” Offering her a grin, you shrug. “Thanks.“ Not much to be happy about.

You should be famished at mealbreak, but the cold expanse of your mattress rolls around in your memory, stealing all appetite. Instead, you sit, a void, watching the radar blip. Above you, boots scrape against the command center floor, and out of instinct, you turn. Supreme Leader Kylo Ren crosses to the glass, cape flowing, and you swallow, your face hot. You seek out his gaze, staring as if to will his attention—but he’s entranced with something. He marches back out without even noticing you.

The second the chronometer marks the end of your shift, you storm into the halls, retreating to your room before your chest collapses. You aren’t sure what you’d expected, but it hadn’t been to be abandoned and ignored. Then again, perhaps you’d been foolish to assume he’d make time outside of your bedroom. Mid-rage, a trooper stops you. “The Supreme Leader requests you in the throne room,” she says. The new Supremacy has a throne room? Pausing, you nod and head that way.

Massive blast doors slide open to reveal the man who’d been haunting the back of your brain since you’d awoken: Kylo Ren. Arms crossed, you enter, your eyes darting between him and the floor, heat in your cheeks. “Silent,” he says. “I’m surprised.” You nod, but say nothing. “Closer,” he orders, and you move until you are only feet from him, the aura of his power weakening your knees. “Look at me,” he says, and you do. His eyes are shadowed with mischief. He gestures to his lap. “Sit.”

By the time you’re sitting, his hands are already gripping your hips, his mouth ghosting your neck, the smoky smell of his hair filling your nose. You shiver, limbs limp, helpless in his grasp. “I thought you’d forgotten,” you say. Kylo Ren grinds his hard, covered cock into your heat, and you whimper. “Of course not,” he says. “You’ll sleep in my quarters tonight.” A gloved hand pushes into your hair, fixing it behind your ear, and his lips brush your lobe. “Happy birthday, sweet thing.”

I am no longer alive, I have transcended into a higher state of being, and am never coming back down.
