I could see him being a face holder, in the sense that he does it to reassure himself that you’re okay and make sure he has your undivided attention.

Since getting injured in Carentan, you hadn’t been as close to the frontlines as you had been, so when you were needed you are REALLY NEEDED,

and even if he didn’t like it Gene knew you were the best at what you did.

Gene also feels better if he knows where you are.

Even when you eventually return to Easy, he will feel better knowing which Foxhole you’re in, and knowing he’s seen to it your first aid kit was fully stocked.

Liebgott:

THAT FUCKER’S SMIRKING AT YOU SO OPENLY that whoever he had been talking to instantly goes

*sigh* y/n’s just came in, didn’t she?

And he won’t even ANSWER because he’s already shoving past them to walk up and eye you with obvious satisfaction.

“Bout time you showed up,” he’d say casually, hands finding your hips giving them a quick squeeze.

“Sooner we get briefed, sooner we can get outta here.”

(You’re not fully sure what ‘getting outta here’ entails, but if the way he looked at you was any indication, you had a feeling it didn’t involve anything less than PG-13 sexy times.)

Bull:

He’ll say it no matter how tall or short you are, how wide or how narrow.

He will always say it to you that when you first see each other in the morning

(Once while on a 48 hour pass, he’d woken you up that way in a REAL bed and the two of you had nearly gotten him sent up Curahee for being late coming back because you’d ended up spending more time in that bed than either of you anticipated Whoops)

(Even if he had been late, he definitely wouldnt have minded, tbh. He fully considered going AWOL if it mean neither of you had to leave the bed)

but throughout the day he’s more concerned about getting his hands on some part of you whenever the two of you had been apart-

even if it was for like five minutes.

Nothing over the top- holding his arm up and out so you can step into his side, a press of his lips to your temple.

Idk guys i just feel like he’d just love you so much that everyone would be able to see, which they do and they all think it’s fucking cute

Buck:

He doesn’t always call out when he sees you, mostly because your eyes always seem to find his.

The two of you could be across a field from one another with a thousand angry Germans between you, guns blazing, and the two of you would always spot each other like two honing beacons.

If its downtime and you guys don’t have to be on your guard he’ll ABSOLUTELY wolf whistle in at you,

You’ll see a stupid grin lighting up his face as he nods in your direction.

“Take a look, boys. I think we’ve got ourselves a…”

and he always waits until you’re close enough that he can wrap a quick arm around your waist and pat your hip.

“Certified babe-asaurus!”

(in a foxhole somewhere, a wild Babe’s head pokes up in confusion).

You groan and boo him, and whoever he was with inevitably ends up booing him too.

But he doesn’t care because seeing you smile makes him so happy you guys.

Lipton:

If you’re in public, he will quietly step up beside you and place his hand gently between your shoulder blades.

He’s not super into PDA, which you didn’t mind because what he didn’t show in physical touch he more than made up for in open admiration.

He is in awe of you

sometimes he worries you forget how highly he thinks of you, how highly everybody thinks of you

you roll your eyes, the behavior you once found cocky and arrogant having becoming endearing somewhere between Toccoa and England.

He has absolutely no qualms about PDA (verbal or physical), so it’s up to you to reign him in

It confused the shit out of replacements, who would automatically stand because their superior officer (that would be Big Dick Winters) did- only to see you standing there in your fatigues with a coffee in each hand with a look of mutual confusion on your face.

(bc while they like you, but they’re confused still bc while you’re a boss ass bitch, you didn’t outrank him...or at least they theink you dont?)

Babe had been the one to ask you about the longing looks and lingering glances, and when you didn’t know how to answer him you’d gone to Nixon,

He’d burst into tearful laughter and was unable to get it together enough to explain anything.

Dick had been the one to bring it up the next time they were alone, weirdly enough, as she proofread his report for errors that didn’t exist.

Because you warrant it, he’d said when pressed for a reason why he greeted her like a ranking officer, looking down at his boots as they both blushed like teenagers at a school dance.

After that, he still stood wherever you walked in

but now he made a point to brush his fingers against yours at some point during the time you were together.

Pffft, getting sleep with any noisy animal is a feat. I have an adorable dog who wakes up at 3am and starts barking at the bears in our backyard, its not usually an issue though cause the majority of my motivation to write happens at 3am ;)

fuck it imma throw some random concepts to build on this here cause i wanna do somethin with it but idk what yet so imma just think super hard

- level's probably called Augustus's Asperations since he's dreamed of bein a real train conductor for as long as he can imagine, while he's dreamed of havin the circus make enough money to have a whole train ALSO for a very long time. i'd say theres an inside n outside of the train u could explore, but i think that'd just be too big for a level so ur probably just stuck inside for most of it.

- theres definitely mental constructs of his family runnin around the place. idk why but i feel like a mission u gotta accomplish is finding the family n gettin em to go to the head of the train. either its the full mission of the level that leads to Raz learning more about his real actual Nona and Lucrecia from the memories Augustus finally has at his disposal that were repressed from the astralathe, or that's more of a side thing that plays into the bigger story of the level which im still thinkin about

- big boss at the end is definitely Augustus's own inner "Maligula" attacking the train, trying to derail everything. a representation of how trauma responses can sometimes make you wanna wreck your relationships, friendships, even family just to avoid being hurt again. of course u beat the Maligula n trap it away in the luggage cart where it belongs, n i dont think Augustus goes full blown Maligula like Nona did when HER inner Maligula resurfaced. it's more like a cautionary tale in a way. a reminder to Augustus that he can't handle everything on his own. that sometimes hes gotta ask for help and thats okay!

- yes Raz gets to touch all the cool train stuff. yes his dad's mental self shows him how it works. yes its very cute. no you cant tell me otherwise its a bonding moment.

- i think some parts of the train look...less put together then other parts. theres certain areas, like the dining cart or that Aquatodome area i was talkina bout, that look put together and presentable but other areas? like the luggage? or the engine room? they're blocked off with mental cobwebs n things like that. Doubts n Censors n Regrets live back there (all in cute lil bellhop n service outfits thank u very much) , to get that repression vibe yknow?

- biggest idea i have for any Augustus mental world is that he's repressing the bad memories he's only just gotten back because it hurts to think about that shit. your mom dying? losing your entire family? realizing your life was a lie? that you were just...made into a whole other person so someone else could avoid their mistakes? that hurts. thats painful and thats gonna take AWHILE to process.

well Augustus doesnt HAVE awhile to process that stuff. hes got a family to take care of, 5 kids! hes got 5 of em!, hes got a circus to run, hes got shit to d o. he cant just...sit around and think his thoughts when hes got work to do.

i think the train fits him the best in this idea honestly, because the idea of "The Conductor" holling himself off in his train, trying his best to keep it running, keep it moving, dont stop, that he completely forgets that theres actual stops people need to get off at? and that he completely forgets about the caged up Maligula in the luggage cart he should probably take care of? it just hits a lil different for me specifically, a bitch who loves Augustus Aquato and thinks about him way too much.

alright im good for now! but expect Conductor Augustus either later or tomorrow i am ON somethin rn

didnt think about it before but @moffittsrambles made me think like-

since Augustus is so into trains n shit, what if his mental world is a circus train? gotta go through all these different carts n stuff, all of em filled with different people he cares about n is connected to.

it starts like a normal train at the beginning where u spawn, probably in a cabin or even at the back of the train in the luggage cart (which, unsurprisingly, is where all the emotional baggage is but the tags are strewn around in different carts), but the further u go in the more wild it gets until u reach the head of the train thats like some kinda combo of a big top circus tent and a train. Augustus is the conductor keepin things in check, as well as the ringmaster (representing how he feels like everything rides on him and if he fails everything will derail around him and just crash n burn)

idk im just thinkin cause like...i love me a good train level and i just think theres Potential™ here yknow?

BTS be placin’ him as #1 visuals…I mean…he is gorgeous

Modern AU where Tyki is the son of a mob boss, the best trans Allen i’ve ever read (in a world of fem!allen i have finally found an oasis of casual and accurate representation). definitely excited to see where it goes, if it goes, idk if it’s gonna be continued or what but !!!!Reapers is another new one, and the title kinda says it all lol. Allen and Lavi are reapers working for the Earl, and Allen is designated Tyki’s personal servant ahahaha

YAYAYAYAY FINALS ARE DONE!!!!!!!! CONGRATS LOVE!!! I BET YOU DID AMAZING!! AND NOW GRADUATION! (i think if i did my math right but it’s 7am and I’ve been awake for 23 hours so who knows at this point lolol) YOU ARE GOING TO DO SO MANY SPECTACULAR THINGS AND YOUR FUTURE IS BRIGHT!!!!

So as stated above, I had a really bad day. It all started on Saturday (yesterday but I’m going to call it today cuz I havent slept so it’s still saturday to my brain). I had to work my first job at Taco Hell from 11:30a-7:30p. So i got there and absolutely NOTHING WAS DONE so I had to do the work of 3 people and I got pissed but I was able to calm down (slightly). So a few hours pass and it’s now 2:30 and this bitch is late for her shift. She strolls in an hour late and clock’s in but doesn’t. start. working. She sits there and eats and that just makes me even more mad like I’m sitting there getting my ass kicked and she can’t be a decent human being?! So I do what I always do when I’m mad…I get super hella quiet vocally and I start banging stuff as I make the food and at one point I slammed a cabinet door and this other person told me I had to chill and you can imagine how that made me. So my boss pulled me aside and I broke like I started crying out of frustration for about half an hour and then I was just drained. Thankfully she let me go home at 6 instead of 7:30 but at that point I was just an empty shell of a worker.

I go home, eat, and relax before I had to start my second job at 9:30p. Nothing really happened and my second job was nice and slow and relaxing so it wasn’t bad….until the morning person decided not to show up on time (6am) so I had to stay a little longer but my boss said fuck it and sent me home at 6:30a so I showered and now I’m here! And I feel so much better! You really know how to lift a person’s spirit;) now lets see if I can go to sleep before I have to go back to Taco Bell at 2p today…..

Ahhhh yesss…my coming out story….I’m going to put that under the cut for length and (warning before you decide to venture down the path of my past) trigger warnings! (suicide and slight homophobia)

Aiiiggghhhhtt this is a dosey. So I’m going to start at the beginning. At one point in my life i thought i was straight…and then a girl asked me out when i was 12(? close enough). BUUTTTT of course I thought I was straight so I told her I wasn’t into girls (whoops) and that I was sorry. The thing was, when she asked me out I got nervous, like butterflies in your stomach kind, but I thought that was just because someone asked me out and was unrelated to the gender of said person. I was just unused to getting asked out.

Fast forward to high school. It was pretty uneventful except for the fact that I started to realize that I thought girls were hot just like i thought guys were hot. Idk exactly when that happened but it did. I never put a label on it because I didn’t really care. I liked guys, girls, and anything in between and I was okay with that.

You see, I grew up in a VERY catholic home but I never believed myself. My parents never talked about homosexuality so I was never taught that it was a bad thing, meaning that no matter how my parents felt on the matter i never knew about it and I was able to form my own opinion.

The summer before my freshman year of college I went to a camp held by my college and I met a guy who is a good friend of mine now. We bonded over anime (more specifically Attack on Titan) and I found out he was gay. He asked me what my orientation was and I said that Im attracted to any gender but I didn’t know what that would label me as and he said (enter drum roll here) PANSEXUAL!!! So I looked it up and it fit pretty well and I just decided to go with it.

Fast forward another year and I started to question gender. I’m biologically female but most days I don’t feel female but I don’t feel male and I still don’t know what that means (im still exploring and doing research so she/they pronouns work for now (but i’m leaning more towards “they”)…I am debating changing my name at this point but I’m fine with Sara for now lol).

I don’t keep in touch with friends from high school really so none of them really know but all of my college friends and other friends know. I just casually bring it up in conversation. Like someone will be like “oh whats your idea guy like sara” and ill basically say that i like my guys to be taller than me but my girls/nonbinary partners to be any height and anything other than height makes no difference to me and everyone’s fine with it.

Alright, now the sad stuff. End of July 2016 I came out to my parents. My mother thought that meant that I was a pedophile and that I was also into be bestiality because she read somewhere that pansexual means that you’re sexually attracted to ANYTHING (like WTF mom?) so i explained (aka looked up the definition for her cuz she wouldn’t listen to me). After an hour of me crying because I was terrified of not being accepted, they decided that this was just a phase and I’ll find my real sexuality when I have my first relationship (I’m 20 and havent even been on a date…im hopeless at this point lol jk). My dad said that i’m just too nice and accepting of everyone and that I would only date a girl because I would be too guilty to turn her down (WTF dad?). I gave up at that point. That entire conversation left me drained and depressed so I tried to kill myself. I had to be taken to the hospital and not I can’t take certain medicines (aka my migraine medicine) cuz my stomach is fucked up now but eh. Only my parents know in my family and I’ve been debating telling my brother (the 19yo one)(the 7yo and 11yo i don’t really care if they know or not) but idk how he is with homosexuality and we arent really that close but we have a good relationship but idk….

I also accidentally came out to my boss at work today (when I was having my breakdown) and she smiled and said “well thats just more love you have to give to the world!” and I’ve never been more appreciative to my boss than at that moment. 2 other people at my work know too. I don’t really broadcast it unless people ask (or im on Tumblr cuz I can proudly be myself here lol)

I hope this wasnt too sad of a story to read (or too confusing….my hands are shaking as I type this and my grammar probably got a lot worse…I need to sleep fam lolol)
