#me: WHAAAAAT? WHYYYY?

One of my new friends moved here from Texas to feel safe as a trans woman. Putting aside how horrifying that is for a moment, today we went to this board game cafe where fully half the staff were visibly trans, and she got so giddy and adorable about it.

Me finding trigun/trigun:stampede and actually getting attached to 2 characters after only caring about steddie for a while: oh hell yeah new ship just dropped and half of it isn't even dead!

Me immediately finding out abt the couch scene b4 i finished the 98 or the manga:

No one asked but I have to tell y’all about this dream because hooo my god it felt so real and honestly I’m mostly writing this for me so that I never forget all the details lol but be warned this is about to get long

So first of all Paige and I were extras in this movie Harry was doing and in my brain it was literally DWD and My Policeman as one movie. So there was a scene where Jack and Alice were at this casino type of restaurant, and Paige and I were extras playing like waitresses there. And Olivia was in the movie/directing, so the scene we were shooting was a scene where Jack and Alice were walking through the casino and, despite having Alice on his arm, Jack was eyeing up this young waitress and making her uncomfortable as he walked by. And so Olivia’s character was supposed to be talking to my character like “oh that’s Jack and Alice. And that Jack is trouble” while we watched him walk by and make eyes with the waitress.

So we shot it a couple of times and it was so cute because every time they yelled cut Harry was so giggly and we were all cracking up because he kept making jokes. And then after a few more times of shooting the scene he started eyeing my character up instead and Olivia and I ended up improvising this whole scene about it DHSKSJDJD and everyone on set was like “yeah that was really good we’re keeping that.”

So after filming was done we all were gonna go out to dinner like as a cast. And as Paige and I were walking out Harry ended up like right beside us, and we were like “oh good job today” and he was like “oh thanks you guys too!!!” And he put his arm around me and like onto Paige, and I was about to be like “oh can we take a picture?” But both he and Paige were already getting their phones out and I was like oh okay fhsjsjs

So Harry took a picture on his phone but it was like terrible of me and in true Sydney fashion I was like “wait no that was ugly can we do another one” and he kinda laughed and got fake offended and was like “whaaaaat whyyyy” even though he knew it was horrible lmao so we took a few more on his phone that ended up SO good and then a few on Paige’s phone.

Then in the car he was sitting next to me in the backseat and we were all jamming to some song and Paige took a Snapchat video where she just like.... casually panned over to Harry LMAO

Then when we were at the restaurant, Harry was sitting next to me again (hehe) and I had this napkin that the whole cast was like passing around and signing? For some reason? And my friend in the cast jokingly signed Harry’s name and then later on her saw it and pointed to it and was like “oh who already signed for me?” And then he drew a lil smiley face beside it 🥺

It cut to the next day and Paige and I weren’t in any of the scenes but we were still on set watching him film and this is where it turned into My Policeman because like I guess they were doing photography for the movie they were getting like a ton of pictures of Harry and this man like holding each other and kissing and shit.

Anyway so finally Paige and I decided to post the pics on tumblr like three days later fhskshdhd and our caption was just “surprise” and I remember in the dream I texted her “you know what’s sick and twisted? The fact that the cutest pictures are the ones Harry took and we will never get to ask him for them.” Because like WHEN I TELL YOU THE ONES ON HIS PHONE WERE SO CUTE LIKE HE WAS SMILING SO WIDE AND HIS BUNNY TEETH WERE ON FULLLLLLLL DISPLAY

And then it moved on to a completely different dream that gad nothing to do with that one lmao but oh my GOD I’m so sad I can’t even explain how real this one felt 🥺

Drunk Kisses and drunk “I love you” with Newsie boys

So I am absolute trash when it comes to this kind of stuff and I rarely see it on my dash so I decided TO MAKE MY OWN drunk “i love you” x reader so enjoy folks

Warnings: underage drinking

Jack

He hardly gets drunk

He’s almost always the one to take everyone back to the lodge if they went drinking somewhere else

But when he does get drunk

He doesn’t get shitfaced

More like the constantly wanting to fight either Finch or Smalls to a thumb wrestle contest or some dumb shit like that

So you go and pick him up after Crutchie asks you to come to (Any place where alcohol is involved... if you can’t tell I’m not that good at this)

And you just sigh and go

You see him whining that Romeo hurt his thumb and that he cheated

“Cmon Kelly, you’re drunk and you smell”

“No...” he slurs, “just, just let me play one more round pleaseeee”

He’s very whiny if you couldn’t tell

Eventually you drag him out and basically almost carry him all the way to the lodge

He stares at you for 10 minutes, you just walk wondering if he blinked once

“What gives Jack? Why’re you starin’ at me?”

He gives you a lopsided smile and goes “cause you’re pretty... did you know that?”

He begins to poke your cheek

“Jack. Quit. It.”

He let go of you and just grabbed your shoulders and stares you down

“Youse really pretty... like so pretty it hurts” he continues to whine and then just screams, “I want everyone to know how much I love you! You guys here that I LOVE (Y/N) AND THEYRE THE MOST AMAZIN THING ON THIS GODDAMN EARTH!!!”

He then surprises you and kisses you hard and long

After running and screaming “I love (Y/N) for 3 minutes he passes out on a bench near by.

You just stand there mouth wide open. You figure he’s just realllllllyyyy drunk and take him back to the Lodge

The next day he only remembers bits and pieces but he definitely remembers saying that he loves you and that he meant it.

Davey

Ahhh my pure bean

He rarely gets drunk. And i will fight anyone who disagrees with me. It only happens when he’s sure it’s safe and clear and also when Les isn’t around to tell on him.

He’s more of the giggly drunk person

(I don’t think any of the Newsies would get shitfaced... just drunk to the point that they’d pass out in a bush)

You decide to come along but don’t drink because you know that it’ll just be you, Jack and Crutchie as designated adults and even three isn’t enough to handle half grown baby men

You sit at the bar and Davey joins you but just has his hand on his chin and looks at you with a longing gaze

“What’s the matter?” You ask

“You know somethin (Y/N)?? You are the single most amazing person I’ve ever met??? You just are so...” he giggles and just sighs and grabs your hand

He begins to think of the right word but you’re too flustered to notice his mumbles as he tries to find the right word

“I love you sooooooo much...” he slurs, “did you know?? But don’t tell the boys, they’ll laugh at me forever, and ever”

Then Race comes and grabs Davey to get more shots

And the next day he doesn’t remember a thing but jack goes over to you two and retells the whole story because he was sitting right across the table listening the whole time.

So davey just gets all nervous and blushes like crazy and begins to apologize non stop

Until you decide to shut him up and grab his face and kiss him

And he’s just not kissing back because he’s in shock

But he starts to kiss back and smile into it

Crutchie

Crutchie is the one to drink but only get tipsy

Even then he’ll have a little bit of alcohol and he’ll trip over thin air and pretend his crutch is a sword

So everyone is at the Lodge chilling when all of a sudden Jack and Crutchie burst in and Crutchie is laughing like crazy and he’s giving Jack light punches and Jack just looks over it.

“Can one of youse look after him? He had a little bit of booze and he’s already gone crazy and I have to meet Kath.”

You decided to volunteer because you knew no one else could handle drunk Crutchie better then you

“Thanks (Y/N) you’re a life saver” Jack drags Crutchie over to your bunk

Crutchie is just dying of laughter when Jack leaves and you just sit there and wait for his convulsion of laughter is over.

“Can... can we go to the rooftop?” Crutchie asks all of a sudden very serious

“Sure thing pal, whatever’ll make you happy”

You two head over to the rooftop and crutchie just stares at the sky for 3 seconds and notices a band playing across the street and then looks at you

“Dance with me!” He asks with a goofy smile

Without waiting for a reply he grabs your hand and places it on his shoulder and holds your waist and gets really close to you

And he’s surprising swift even with his crutch

You two dance for a while and just are smiling like crazy when he just stops and smacks his lips onto yours

“Crutchie... I uh um why...?” You get all flustered as hell and he just looks confused as to why you stopped

“Ise a... really wanted to do that for a while (y/n) and I love ya a lot. Youse the most amazing person ise ever met.”

And you just stand there not knowing what to do.

You chuckle and see his droopy eyes and say “You’re drunk and tired, you should sleep.”

He knocks out as soon as his head hits his pillow that jack leaves for him on the rooftop

Race

Now this boy

If he wasn’t already a flirtatious fUCK THEN!! HE IS NOW HOLY SHIT

LIKE NO HE GOES ALL IN! HIS CONFIDENCE GOES THROUGH THE ROOF

Ok sorry for that

But anyways

So you’re just wandering around when you see Race near Jacobi’s and you can already tell he’s drunk as hell.

He’s just laughing at nothing and playing with his cigar

He notices you and gets all excited

“Heyyyyyy (y/n) hows ya doin?”

“Race... you need to go back to the lodge”

“Whaaaaat but whyyyy.” He starts whining to you about why he doesn’t want to.

Until you go and try to pull him up

He’s pulling back and groaning and whining saying “but I don’t wanna (y/n) pleaseeee.”

And he pulls you a little too hard and you two tumble until he’s on top of you.

You too just stare at each other, you’re just so flustered and bright red

Whereas Race is having the time of his fucking life

He leans over on one side and goes, “ya know, youse really pretty. Like super pretty.”

And just rambles with flirty looks and his damned smirk

Meanwhile you’re hardly paying any attention cause all you’re thinking is “oh shit Race is on me, since when has he been that cute? Shit. Woah were his eyes always this amazing.”

And then you just can’t take it anymore and grab his collar and kiss him.

He kisses back right away and slides his hand to your waist while the other holds your head up and pushes you closer into the kiss

You just knock his cap off while you run your fingers through his hair

And after what seemed like forever you two break apart and he smirks and leans into your ear and whispers “Ise love you... did ya know that?” And pecks your ear

You are just... woah

You push him off of you and mumble “You’re drunk.”

Race looks at you silly and says “Ise know I is, but come tomorrow I’ll remember everything and I won’t regret it. Promise.”

And just passes out and lands face first

After contemplating if you should just leave him there

But after 10 minutes you take him back to the lodge

And true to his word he remembers everything from the night before
