To Miss Laurant... Pt. 1
Pairing: Lord Alfred Debling x Reader
Summary: What happens when two souls who had not found love find it within each other?
a/n: okay a bit late on watching bridgerton (don't come at me please) but I feel like Debling is a well written character and would love to see him more so mwUAH! I also wanted to give the reader a name so the last name is Laurant.
"There, one of my greatest works!" Madame Delacroix said as she finished the hem of your dress.
You admire the beading by your sleeves and how it flows by the end of your gown, which was also adorned by a cape.
"It's just us, Genevieve. You can lose the accent" You said, looking back at your childhood friend.
"Oi. I have to keep appearances, you'll never know who'd walk in those doors." She said in her regular voice. You both laugh as if you two haven't seen each other since your family moved to the Americas. You then became a traveling performer, singing for the largest of crowds and now back home to sing for the biggest event.
"I still can't believe you're back home, and performing for the queen no less. Are you nervous?" She asks.
You press your hand on your stomach, feeling the butterflies.
"Very. I never sang for royalty before. I thank Lady Danbury for opening her home to me for my stay and offering counsel on how to approach her majesty."
"Well, the bachelor's will swoon by your talent, wit, and beauty for tonight." Madame Delacroix, she said, kneeling by the end of your dress to fix a hem.
"I'm afraid that's where you lose me Gen. I faced too many heartbreak in my life, sometimes I don't believe in the words I am singing."
Genevieve tsks at you and rises up, placing her hands by your shoulders.
"You shan't forsaken your passion for love. Who knows, maybe you shall meet a certain suitor tonight."
"Perhaps..." You said, looking back at the mirror, unsure that you believe in the feeling.
+
"My Lord, welcome back home." an older man said, offering his assistance to Lord Debling.
"Only temporary Buford, I do wish things do recover." Lord Debling replied, as he looks down at his cane.
Upon his mission to save a rare mammal during an unforgiving snowstorm, Lord Debling lost his footing on a weak stone by the side of a cliff and fell 20 feet down. It was remarkable that he survived the fall, but he broke his leg and he had scars around his face and torso from the turbulent fall.
His crew helped him find the nearest physician and was told he must return home to recover for the sake of his health. With much dismay, he returned back to Mayfair, hoping he could leave to complete his mission.
"Yes sir, a speedy recovery you shall have." Buford replied as he helped the Lord get into his carriage.
They rode off to the estate, where Lord Debling looks outward to the town. He accidentally made eye contact with a few townspeople and they began to whisper. The Lord whipped the small curtain closed and inhaled, catching his breath.
"Your return has spread quickly here, they've said you've cheated death." Buford said with caution.
"What I've cheated on was my mission. If I'm not back by the end of this season, the creatures would not survive the rest of the winter." Lord Debling said.
"Of course sir, my apologies. If you like, I can provide on the latest news since your last visit."
"I suppose that wouldn't hurt."
"Well, the queen is having a ball at the palace. You did also receive an invitation."
"I do not wish to entertain anyone for the matter, Buford." the tired Lord replies.
"If I may speak freely, you have not been seen in ages, my Lord. I believe some live entertainment shall lift your spirits momentarily."
The Lord ponders for a moment.
"Well, I guess I shall use my night wisely. Thank you for your counsel, Buford. Live entertainment you said?"
"Yes, a singer. She's an accomplished musician who's toured around the Americas, Asia, and Europe. I have her flyer here." Buford offered a folded paper to the Lord.
Alfred Danbury looks fondly, reading out loud your last name.
"Laurant?"
"Are you familiar with her?" Buford asks.
Lord Debling shakes his head no as he folds back the paper.
"No, I'm afraid not." He replied as opens back the window, looking outward.
As the night arrived, Lord Debling felt like he was out of practice around the high society. People often shared condolescences on his accident and women would near him, they're faces would be etched with pity.
He wanted to crawl out of his skin and be in the confinement of his home. It was like the walls of the room was closing in and rushed out as fast as he could. He slowly took off his coat and vest, leaving on his white button shirt.
He managed to get by the gardens and sat down, hissing as the ache in his leg was acting up. He drops his clothes and cane to the side and tends his knee, closing his eyes.
"Are you alright?" a soft spoken voice is heard.
He opens his eyes and faces you, as you sat in your plain dress by the quiet fountain that were etched with baby angels.
"I wish I could stop hearing that." He grumbles to himself.
"I'm sorry for asking." You said, huffing as you turned away.
Lord Debling felt horrible as he straightens up as best he could.
"Forgive my manners, all night I've been consoled and pitied for. I do not wish to feel like a wounded creature." He says, showing his cane.
You turn your head towards him again. You bow your head, understanding.
"It's alright, my apologies for striking a sour chord."
Lord Debling couldn't help but laugh and cracked a smile, a manner he has not done since his accident. He offers you a seat by him and you obliged.
"What is a maiden as yourself outside for?" He asks.
You struggle to find the right words and looked at him with kind eyes.
"This is my first ball, I was afraid I'd make a fool of myself."
"It's impossible, I do not know you well but you carry yourself with such poise." Lord Debling says.
You couldn't help chuckle, not believing his words.
"We must not let fear get to us tonight. Life is too short to squabble in the mist of doubt."
Lord Debling was beguiled of your wisdom.
"Well said, miss..." he trailed on, not getting your name.
You were about to reply till the bell tower rang.
"Oh no, I'm late!" You said, grabbing your dress and quickly running off.
"But wait, I don't know your name!" Lord Debling said, getting up.
You turned towards him, screaming out your name.
"What is yours so I may remember?"
He was about to say his title, but he stopped. You seemed so free from high society, he didn't know who you were or what your ranking was. He just saw you for, well you.
"Alfred!" He yelled back.
"We shall meet again, Alfred." You said, before running off.
Lord Debling placed his hand on his heart, feeling it race like gazelles.
He had kept his heart from ever loving something more than protecting the innocence of wildlife, and yet, you ran away and he longed for your presence once more.
He placed his outer garments, grabbed his cane and walked with purpose back at the ball, trying to find you in the sea of people. Soon, the floor cleared and an announcer walked on the platform.
"Our dearest guests, we have brought you a special talent for tonight. As she prepares to travel to the pacific this summer, she has graced us with her voice for this season. I present to you, Miss Laurant!"
Everyone cheered and a figure slowly walked onto the platform, with an almost glowing dress that illuminated more by the lights. She looked outward to the crowd, afraid with those memorizing eyes.
That's when Lord Debling knew it was you.
You looked upward to the queen, as she gave you grim look of disappointment. You looked away and tried to find peace in your stirring mind. That's when you made eye contact with a familiar face.
Alfred.
He shook his head to you, almost indicating that you had enough courage to go on.
You straighten upward and faced the orchestra by the side and you began to sing.
Lord Debling stood like a statue. Your voice captivated his ears like a songbird, and he was too afraid to move in fear you would stop.
You didn't leave your gaze on Alfred, as he was your anchor through the storm that filled your head with dread. For once in your life, you begun to understand the words you've sung about love. Something ignited you, and it was proven as there was a roar of applause that was for your performance.
You look back at the queen and she nodded in approval, smiling contently. You bow in her presence and left the platform.
The orchestra resumed the delightful tune of dance as you were congratulated by the court. Lady Danbury walked up to you, beaming with pride.
"My dear, I understood you've sung for a living but I underestimated that voice. Do not let me doubt you again." She says lively.
"Oh, you're too kind, Lady Danbury. It is you I have to share gratitude for. Thank you for having me into your home."
"Anytime, my dear. I also bring good news, her majesty is requesting a private audience with you during your stay here."
Your mouth dropped into an 'O' and you hugged Lady Danbury, then a split second letting go as you straighten yourself.
"Apologies, but this news has elated my mood of late. Thank you." You said, as Lady Danbury just gave you a beaming smile.
She was about to say something until something caught her eye. "It seems you have made an impression to a particular someone."
You don't understand what she's saying until you see Alfred, now dressed formally. He walks towards you two and bows his head.
"Lady Danbury, it's a pleasure to see you tonight. Miss Laurant, I did not expect you were tonight's performance."
"You two know each other?" Lady Danbury asks.
"Br-Briefly. We exchanged words by the garden." You said, confused as you thought Alfred was a footman of sort, but dressed similar to those in the court.
"I was blown away by your performance tonight, Miss Laurant. Perhaps when I am in the best of health, I can escort you to the dance floor sometime."
"Lord Debling, I thought you never dance at balls." Lady Danbury teases making him chuckle.
"Lord?" You ask, your eyes wide.
"I am sorry if I did not share my title at the time-" Lord Debling tried to explain but you took a step back.
"Lady Danbury, I must rest before meeting her majesty this week. Thank you both for your kind words, but I must go." You bowed before you left them in confusion.
"Did I offend her honor? I did not know my title would have her leave." Lord Debling asks, feeling as if he'd hurt you.
Lady Danbury could see his sincere features and tried consoling him.
"It is not you, my Lord. Before Miss Laurant came back to London, she has told me she has had a troubled past. It appears you may have reminded her of something that she can't escape."
Lord Debling could only look at the direction where you left, wondering if you were alright.
Soon, you hailed a carriage and traveled to Lady Danbury's residence. You sank by the wall and began to cry, holding yourself for some comfort.
You thought Alfred was like you, free from title and expectations. You thought that maybe, you could love him.
But you can't give your heart to a Lord,
not again.
To be continued...

SIDE STORY! Kamisato Ayato x Reader
A/N: This was made to make some parts of the main story make a bit more sense and to kinda clarify their ages in the main story (ages are obv inaccurate, aged up, and mostly taken from Google)
Synopsis: The time when you encountered two of the most important people in your life
Characters: Kaedehara Kazuha and Shikanoin Heizou
WARNINGS: Bad grammar, writing mistakes (Ages messed/scrambled up and possible pronoun mistakes), possible inaccuracies in lore (Heizou)
Words: 1.6k
"It's a pleasure to meet you, my liege. I'm Kaedehara Kazuha." The said man, or rather, kid, bowed down and offered a handshake.
"C'mon, darling, don't be shy. Say hi" a woman in her late twenties said to the little child hiding behind her legs.
"But mom, he speaks so weird. Normal people don't talk like that, do they?" The child whispers to their mom.
Unfortunately, Kazuha seemed to have heard this and, in turn, lowered his head in sadness and a bit of shock. Was the way he spoke really that weird?
The woman gasps. "You shouldn't say that about other people. That's bad. Now go apologize to Kazuha, just like I taught you."
The child hesitates
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be rude. Will you forgive me just this once?" The child says, finally making eye contact for the first time.
"It's alright, I'm sure you didn't mean anything bad by it."
"How about this? Let's start over again. Hello, I'm Kaedehara Kazuha. What's your name?" He offers his hand again.
"I'm Y/N!" Y/N accepts his hand and shakes it.
"Well then, Y/N, I hope we'll be friends for a long time." He smiles.
"..."
"Hm? Is there something in my face?" He says after noticing the way Y/N seems to stare at him so intensely.
"I want to squish your cheeks." Y/N answers absentmindedly
"I'm sorry?" Kazuha is taken aback
"Huh?"
"You just said..." Kazuha begins to get too flustered to continue what he's saying.
"What? What did I say?" Y/N says confused and unaware that their thoughts had accidentally slipped
"Nothing, pay it no mind."
4 years later
Kazuha was already 10 years old, while Y/N was to turn 10 years old in the next couple of days
While wandering around a remote village, Y/N stumbles upon a certain Dōjō.
Curious about what's inside, they decided to take a peek inside, and then suddenly a child, presumably around their age, almost bumped into them.
A boy with burgundy hair and light olive green eyes
"I'm sorry! Please excuse me." And with that, the boy ran away.
"Weird, but he was pretty." Y/N then continued on their stroll paying no mind to the strange kid that they almost bumped into
It wasn't actually just a regular stroll around some village. Y/N, was believe it or not, lost
It all started on a little stroll around the city, got distracted, ended up outside the city, proceeded to walk forward to hopefully somehow end up back into the city, discovered a remote village, wandered around, and proceeded to get more lost.
It was already nighttime. And you know what that means. Bandits, treasure hoarders, kidnappers, and other bad guys will begin to lurk around, and you may end up being their next target.
But hey, what are the chances of some old guy targeting a small child with obviously no valuables on them?
"I'M SORRY! I SWEAR I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING ON ME!" Y/N screams, running away from a treasure hoarder.
"GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE BRAT"
"NO!" Y/N says, still running away and avoiding the daggers getting thrown in their direction
'WHY'D I HAVE TO GET LOST? PLEASE SAVE ME, KAZUHA OR SOMEONE!' Y/N screams and cries internally.
"ARGH!" The treasure hoarder screams in pain
Upon turning around, Y/N sees the treasure hoarder isn't chasing them anymore but instead crouched over with a hand placed on the supposed area that had hurt him.
And beside the treasure hoarder was a boy, the very same boy Y/N had encountered earlier that day.
The boy then hit the treasure again, causing the man to get knocked out.
"Are you alright? He didn't hurt you, did he?" The mysterious boy looks over Y/N from top to bottom
"No, no, I'm fine. Thank you for saving me. I don't know what would've happened to me if you hadn't." Y/N bowed as thanks
"Well then, that's good. Who and what are you doing here, if I may ask?"
"I've never seen you around here before."
"Oh, uhm..I may or may not have gotten lost while having a stroll around the city," Y/N answers sheepishly.
"THE CITY!? That's so far away! How'd you end up all the way here?!" The boy exclaims.
Y/N could only awkwardly laugh and avoid direct eye contact.
The boy sighs. "How about this? I'll ask my father if you can stay for the night. It would be way too dangerous for you to go back."
"A-Are you sure? I don't want to be a bother." Only now did Y/N notice how hoarse their voice was and how hungry they were. They've been walking for basically the entire day without any food or water.
It's amazing how they were still able to run earlier.
"I'm sure he won't mind. Plus, am I just supposed to ignore a person who's very clearly in need of help?"
"Right. Then, please lead the way, Mr. Uh, I'm sorry, but what's your name?"
"Oh right, I still haven't introduced myself. My name's Shikanoin Heizou. But please feel free to call me Heizou. It's a pleasure to meet you, Mx."
"Nice to meet you too, Heizou. My name's L/N Y/N. And you can just call me Y/N"
The pair continue to walk towards Heizou's house.
"By the way, Y/N, you should be more careful and suspicious of anyone that offers you a place to stay for the night. You never know what their true intentions are."
"Hmm, that's true. But I'm trusting that you have good intentions and only wish to help me. Plus, it's either die outside or risk staying with you, and right now I'd rather stay with you for the night than stay outside."
"Plus, what can a little kid like you do? I mean, ignoring the fact that you quite literally just knocked out a grown man. I see no reason for you to do anything bad to me. And if you were a bad person, you could've just let me die right then and there."
Heizou chuckles. "I suppose you're right."
After walking for what seemed like forever, you both then arrive at his house.
His father, though not happy about the fact that Heizou had snuck out, maintained his composure around you and allowed you to stay for the night.
They were even kind enough to also give you food and water before letting you go to bed
The next day soon arrived and it was time to go
Heizou insisted on accompanying you back, lest you get lost again.
His father wasn't quite amused with the action, as it would mean Heizou skipping martial arts training, but he ended up letting Heizou go with you. Though Heizou was still a kid like you, he was more than capable of defending both you and himself from harm
Upon arriving back, you were immediately greeted by a tackle hug from none other than Kaedehara Kazuha.
Which surprised you and the boy who was accompanying you the entire time.
"Where did you go?! I was so worried! Me and everyone else had been looking for you the entire day yesterday!" The Kaedehara says clearly, on the verge of tears.
"Woah, chill there, buddy. You're making Y/N overwhelmed," Heizou interrupts.
"And who're you?" Kazuha looks at the "strange kid" that was previously beside you. Suspicion was very clearly present in his eyes.
Heizou, finding the situation a bit amusing, removes you from Kazuha's tight embrace and puts you beside him. "I'm their best friend, obviously." and he proceeds to side-hug you while sending a cheeky smile towards Kazuha.
"That's a lie! I know all of Y/N's friends, and I'm their only best friend. I don't remember you ever being friends with them." Kazuha pulls you back towards him.
While the two go back and forth, you are left there, standing awkwardly, trying to deescalate the situation.
The three of you makes a funny sight for the adults around to see.
Eventually, you managed to get the two to settle on a truce, and you all went your separate ways.
Well, sort of. Kazuha was still following you, saying it was his duty to protect you as your knight and that he wouldn't let any more harm fall upon you.
You just left him be. You noticed that Kazuha started acting this way towards you when you g̶̢̮̩̺̐̉̓̆͆o̸͕̳͖͐̇̕͘͝t̶̨̖͈̥̳̎̉̀͝ ̵̢̲̠͎̂͛́͒͑̑͝ạ̶̛͆̍͠m̴̝̞̻̫͜͝n̷̢̳͎̬̺͇̮̍͆ͅë̴͉͍͎̺́̑̀͌̽̆ŝ̴̛͙̥͇̠̹̿̇̋̍̐ͅͅi̷̧̡̞͕̦̓̉̄͛̈̕a̵̢̭̥̞̲̰̠̅̃̾ guys got a bit more closer to each other. He said that he was your knight, that he'd protect you forever, and that he wouldn't ever leave you alone.
When you arrived at the front of your house, your mom immediately came rushing out the door to hug you, almost breaking your bones, crying, and saying how worried she was and how she couldn't sleep at all. The same goes with your father; he wasn't there to see you arrive though; he was still at work, but when he did come home to find you safe and sound, he, for the first time ever, cried in front of you.
Only upon seeing your father cry did it finally hit you how they must have felt. How much you made them worry.
The L/N household was filled with tears, apologies, and relief that their beloved child was back safe in their arms.
After that whole ordeal, you, Kazuha, and everyone else were back to your guys' regular things.
One thing changed, though: Heizou now often comes along with you and Kazuha. Most of the time, he just appears out of nowhere, saying how lucky he was to accidentally run into you (and Kazuha too, he supposes).
You were starting to suspect it wasn't a coincidence or luck that he just ran into you both all the time.
But his company wasn't unwelcome, so it was alright, coincidence or not.
From that point on, you basically grew up together with Kazuha and Heizou. In every normal or important moment in your life, both of them were there to support you. And they'd continue to support you wherever you may end up going.
Extra:
Main story age: Ayato - 24, Y/N - 23/24, Kazuha - 24/25, Heizou - 20+(?)
Kazuha's parents are friends with your parents. And it's because of that that you even met Kazuha. If they weren't, Kazuha wouldn't even be mentioned in the main story.
Anddd hopefully that clears up some possible questions you may have when reading the main story, Part 2.
I know I should probablyyyy post this after I post part 2 of the main story, but I just got too sidetracked in the main story and barely made progress with the actual plot that I had to make this to clear up some thoughts that keep telling me to add this and that in the main story.

The One
Pairing: Chris Evans x Reader
Warmings: 18+, Minors DNI. Curate your own experience. Cursing, drinking, running, a raging argument in an established relationship, name calling, taunting, drunken raging, Twitter. SMUT, explicit, rough sex, fingering, tit slapping, orgasm denial, spitting, oral sex (mostly female receiving). Also, I’m sleepy. 😴
A/N: Not proofread. Also, I know very little about Chris and Jenny, and have no real opinion about their relationship. I made up the scenario about what happened there for the purposes of the story. THANKS FOR 400 FOLLOWERS TONIGHT! 🥳🎉🎊🍾👏🏽🎈
This fic is based on the following ask:
Anonymous asked:
Imagine idea :
Chris is drunk after a fight with the reader. He was On Twitter and saw some pics with Jenny and when the reader comes in he screams at her and says that Jenny was the one and not the reader. The reader get sad because she was always kind of insecure about the age gap with Chris. The day after he didn’t know what he says and she don’t say anything because she got the feeling that he was right. But one thing both didn’t noticed that Chris was drunk calling Scott and he knows everything Chris says and drive to Chris to give him a good clamp ahahhaha Chris was drunk and Just mentioned her name because he saw a post with Jenny.
------------------
It had been the perfect day.
You slept in, then had a late brunch at home.
You saw a message from Chris’ former co-star, Heidi, light up his phone that he’d plugged in on the kitchen counter when you two were tidying up.
You wondered why he was texting the bitch even after you told him that she wanted him. And after he agreed to cut off contact out of respect for you.
Heated, you didn’t even look around before you picked it up, put in his code and read a string of friendly, if not borderline flirty, texts.
Chris walked in the kitchen, caught you, and yelled at you for being in his phone.
“What the hell is going on?”
“Exactly! What is going on, Chris. I thought we talked about this?”
Chris rolled his eyes. “It’s not a big deal.”
“Oh, it’s a big fucking deal.”
You threw his phone on the marble countertop, which caused Chris to pick it up to see if it was cracked. Your temper was too much.
“We’re just friends! She knows we’re together, y/n!”
You rolled your eyes.
“And I know women, Chris. That doesn’t fucking matter to her. Sometimes you’re so oblivious. Or act like you are.” You huffed and rolled your eyes.
“I know you want to leave me for someone more glamorous and beautiful. Someone who will put up with your shit, everyone the media says you’re fucking. Go ahead and just do it!”
Chris’s temper was really rising now. You could tell as the red creeped up his chest to his neck.
“Stop fucking saying that!” Chris was screaming now. “Is that what you want? To end it? Because you don’t have to make me do it. If you want to leave, just leave.”
You said shit like that a lot. And it scared and angered him. He wanted to know if you were trying to make him break up with you so you would be free.
“Why are you being such a fucking…” Chris stopped himself. He knew better than to call you out of your name.
Your head almost spun around. You smiled evilly.
“Go ahead, say what you wanna say, Chris. Or are you scared?”
Chris exploded. “A fucking BITCH.” He was shaking because you went there.
“How many times do I have to tell you, I’m not fucking anyone else!”
Chris lost it and punched the wall, making a hole in the drywall and definitely injuring his hand.
You just stood there with your mouth open and in silence. You went toward him to look at his hand, and he just put both of them up, backing away from you and going to the liquor cabinet.
He retreated to the deck with a bottle of Jameson’s. He wanted to dull the pain, in his hand, and in his heart. He hated when you hurt each other.
You understood that you both crossed the line, so you let him be. You went upstairs to change into your running clothes to get out and clear your head.
Chris settled on a deck lounger, started drinking from the bottle and got online, which is never a good thing, but he needed something to distract him. He started reading tweets about himself, and following a thread of Chris + Jenny stans.
The more he drank, the more he started reminiscing.
There were good times. He was happy. Mostly. He thought she was the one. Sometimes. But she broke his heart. He was just a rebound.
Her handsome arm candy.
Then he thought of you. His heart melted; you really loved him. He was sure of it. But loving him was hard. He realized that you felt the same way about him that he felt about Jenny. Always waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Insecure.
And you had good reason to be. Everything you’d said about women coming after him was true. But what you didn’t realize is that since he’d met you other women didn’t matter to him.
You were the one, not Jenny.
Chris began to get melancholy. He’d fucked up. You were nothing but good to him and you just asked him to respect you and listen to your feelings. He’d ignored that.
Shit, why did he yell at you like that?
He went to erase Heidi’s contact and block her number. He was confident that you were never going to throw him away like Jenny did. She was the one who’d hurt him. Not you. Never you. He recognized that you wouldn’t ever hurt him on purpose.
His mind was racing with how to apologize when you came back. He was an idiot. The pain in his heart was replaced with regret and his hand had slowed to a dull throb.
But then 30 minutes turned to 3 hours, and by the time you got back, the bottle was empty and Chris’s eyes were red with rage and worry.
Maybe you were just like Jenny after all.
--------
You ran, and then went to get some coffee. You ran into Shelby at the cafe and distracted yourself with mindless chatter, then walked back. You were ready to apologize by the time you opened the door.
When he heard the door, Chris picked up his phone and met you in the living room. He was obviously shitfaced.
“WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN!?”
Chris’s voice boomed throughout the house and you jumped. Then you just stood there, shocked at his outburst.
“The hell are you talking to me like that?”
He was unsteady on his feet. He leaned toward you, and you could tell that someone was spinning the room for him.
“I don’t want it to be you!”
He had to let you know that he knew that you wouldn’t be the one to hurt him. Chris pointed his phone at you.
“You’re not the one. Jenny’s the only one. Not you! Not ever you!”
You couldn’t believe your ears. But then again you could. It was what you were afraid of. You were head over heels. And Chris could find someone on his level. Like Jenny.
“Well, Fuck You very much, Chris.”
You brushed your tears away and ran past him up the stairs to the bedroom, locking the door and crying your eyes out. You got out your suitcase.
----
Chris started up after you, calling your name, and then suddenly needed to duck in the downstairs bathroom to throw up.
He tried to make it up the stairs and had to sit down on the floor near the bottom. Then, he needed to lay down just for a minute.
The next thing Chris knew, it was morning, and he woke up to a pounding on the door and in his head. He rolled over on the floor, and something stabbed him in the side.
Groaning, he reached down and saw your keys to his house, his cars, and his life, all on the Tiffany heart keychain he’d given them to you. He was staring at them, confused, when Scott opened the door with his key.
“There he is. My brother. The fuck up.”
Chris groaned again, sat up on the bottom stair and held his head.
“What the fuck are you talking about?”
“Nevermind me. It’s not often I get to say that, only when you publish your dick pic to the internet or you RUN OFF THE BEST THING THAT’S EVER HAPPENED TO YOU!”
Chris winced when Scott yelled, his head a pounding mass of meat wrapped in fuzzy cotton.
He didn’t understand why he was being tortured and he didn’t understand why his hand hurt. He looked at it, all bruised up, and the keys inside it.
“Just tell me, Scott. Why are you here?”
Scott leaned up against the door.
“Did you know you drunk dialed me last night?”
Chris looked up at Scott, and his face was a sight as his brother told him what he’d said to you.
“Fuuuuuck me!” He put his head in his hands again.
“I don’t know if she ever will again,” Scott joked, but Chris didn’t laugh.
“I called her after you apparently passed out and wouldn't pick up your phone. She was ready to catch an early morning flight, but I convinced her to sleep in today and leave tomorrow.”
Chris moved his hands down from his eyes and stared out the patio doors, trying to think.
“I put her up in the Four Seasons, on your dime of course. Room 6145. Penthouse. Could be pretty romantic. If she were in that kind of mood.”
Chris looked up at Scott, smiled weakly, jumped up and hugged him, then made for the door. Scott jumped in front of him.
“Trust me, you’ll want to get some water and coffee in you, and shower and brush your teeth. You look and smell like shit.”
“Right.” Chris nodded, flexing his hand. He could still move it. He was glad it wasn’t broken. “Thanks, bro.”
“No problem.” Scott walked into the bathroom as Chris went to the kitchen, groaning when he saw the hole in the wall. He’d have to ask Scott to get it fixed before you saw it again.
If he could convince you to come back.
----
It was 11 am, and Scott had verified that you were still in the room. Chris just stood there, nervous and terrified that you were just going to be done with him.
Room service came and headed toward your door. Chris waved them down and when they saw his face, they stopped in their tracks, shocked.
“Hey, can you do me a favor?”
----
You climbed out of the wonderful deep jetted tub, having soaked until the water got cold and your fingers were wrinkled. You pulled on the plush Four Seasons terry cloth robe that was provided with the suite.
You felt calmer than last night, and after some sleep and relaxation, you realized that you’d been a fool to think that Chris would want you forever like you thought.
It was for the best that you leave and start over, to focus on your consulting business and yourself for a while.
You opened the door with a smile on your face for the attendant, and you let them into the room, your back turned to the door while they brought the cart in. You turned back around and there was Chris.
You grew heated, and your heart began to race while the attendant scurried out. Chris’s face was a welcome sight, but you were still angry.
There you were, looking so beautiful, curls tied up in your favorite silk scarf, cocoa skin radiant in a white fluffy robe. You should have been comfortable, but your eyes were wide and scared.
He’d done this to you.
“Fuck, y/n… I…”
You interrupted him.
“You’ve got some mutha fuckin nerve. How dare you just run up in here, using that fucking face,” you flung your hand up, “using who you are to get into my room. How did you even know where…?”
Your mouth dropped open at the realization of what Scott had done. You turned on your heel to get your things. You didn’t care that you were naked under your robe. You didn’t care that you still loved Chris. You were out. This second.
Chris moved to block you from entering the bedroom of the suite. You tried to push past him, all 5’ 4” of you versus 6 feet of him.
“Move, Chris!”
You glared up at him, your body responding to him in ways you weren’t prepared to admit. You were betrayed by your pussy.
“I just want you to listen to me. Then you can leave, stay, do whatever you want. Just hear me out.”
You and him physically was always the shit. His arms across his chest did things to you But you kept mean mugging him, making him hard for you.
You stepped back and said, “Okay. You have 10 minutes. Then I’m out, Chris.”
You paced back to the couch in the living room of the suite, watching him warily.
Chris paced in front of you, making it inevitable that you follow his lean form back and forth across the carpet. You noticed that his hand was bandaged and that he kept flexing it.
You hoped it wasn’t broken. No matter what, you cared what happened to him. You would always love him. Even if it was the end of your relationship.
“First of all, I’m sorry. My anger got the best of me, and I was violent and that is never acceptable. Even though I didn’t touch you, it’s not ok, and I know it was intimidating. I take responsibility.”
He stopped and looked at you, you melted a little, but you didn’t give any outward sign. Being a business owner taught you a mean poker face.
But the shirt he was wearing made his true blue eyes pop and you could see a hint of his chain around his neck under the fitted henley.
You suppressed a shiver at the memory of the things you did to have that chain and medallion wave in your face, to have it clenched between your teeth as Chris had his way with you, and you with him.
You focused on him, pointedly looking at your watch. Chris’ anxiety peaked when he saw that.
He stepped toward you and thought that he recognized the look in your eyes. He was almost sure that you still wanted him, sure that you still cared. He could only hope as he came closer.
“And then I started drinking. And while you were gone, I came across some posts about me and Jenny. And it took me back there.”
At those words, you crossed your arms and averted your eyes, defenses up. You didn’t want to hear about how much he loved Jenny.
Then, Chris swiftly moved to sit on his haunches, becoming eye level with you.
“And I realized that she never really loved me. Not like you loved me.”
Chris speaking about your love in the past tense made you a little angry and you stared him in the eyes.
It was just the reaction he hoped for. Your attitude. He loved it. He hid a smirk so that he could continue, but you saw the glimmer in his eyes. And you rolled yours.
Chris then picked up the sash to your robe and started playing with it, your eyes drawn to his thick fingers. You didn’t know why that was getting you hot, but it was. You opened your mouth to breathe.
Chris’s voice cracked when he said. “And to me she was the mountaintop. Another, different kind of conquest. But I realized that I never really loved her. Not like I love you.”
Present tense.
Now you were looking into his eyes, about to fall into them. Shit. He had you hooked. But then you remembered, and drew back.
“Yeah, I know what I said, but what I was trying to express was that I know it could never be you to hurt me like Jenny did. That I didn’t want you to hurt me like she did. Not when I’ve thought about forever…”
He moved even closer. “I mean forever, forever, with you.”
All of a sudden you couldn’t breathe. Chris got on his knees.
“I want to be in this position again with you one day. One day soon. But not like this. I don’t want it to be to try to get you back. I want us to be good.”
He sighed, pensive. “I want you to be smiling and happy, and even have our families there.”
You don’t know how your face looked at that moment, but Chris started smiling at you. You were so beautiful to him right now.
“I was drunk, and I couldn’t use my words correctly. I yelled and I screamed and I punched the wall. I fucked up and may have lost you forever, but I’m sorry, Y/N. I’m so sorry.”
You felt yourself get emotional, but you tried to calm down.
“I’m just so fucking scared that you will get tired of all the bullshit that comes with me and leave… and I absolutely wouldn’t blame you. But there’s no one else, y/n. No one else can compare…”
“Chris…”
You raised your hand to his face, eyes searching his. You could tell he was being honest.
Chris grabbed your hand and started kissing your palm.
“So.” He looked at you with those eyes. “Is this goodbye?…” His lips were giving you shivers. “Or hello again? Can we start over?”
Chris trailed his lips from your palm, to the pulse point at your wrists and lingered there, licking the delicate skin. Then he moved up your arm to the opening in the robe.
He pushed his torso in between your legs and leaned into your neck, inhaling the lavender bath oil that was your favorite. And his, too.
He moaned as you leaned your head to the side, giving him access. But he didn't just want the physical. He breathed into the shell of your ear.
“Please come home, baby…”
You just moaned as he started sucking right below your ear, your spot. Desire took over for Chris when he heard your sounds.
“Fuck it. I can tell that you still want me. If this is goodbye, then I’m going to make it worth your time.”
Your back arched and Chris palmed your bounteous ass over the robe, pulling you flush to his crotch. He smiled as he felt the warmth coming from you.
“You’re so fucking warm, babe. Are you wet, too? Are you wet for me? Do you want my cock? I mean, do you want your thick, fat, cock to fuck you babe?”
Chris was kissing down your neck into the cleavage that the robe was revealing with each sentence as you opened your legs. Your pussy was quivering for him, but you still didn’t answer him.
Chris looked up at you with those eyes and pulled on the robe sash. It fell open and he looked down and bit his lip, taking in your warm skin, lovely breasts, and elegant pussy, with the manicured triangle of hair kept like he preferred, and offered up for his taking.
You still looked like his girl, and he smiled as he looked up into your eyes. But he had to be certain. He lowered his head, keeping eye contact and descended toward one small hard mountain peak, kissing it gently, tentatively, while watching you.
You were mesmerized as his tongue peeked out and licked it, then he opened his lips and enveloped it, moistening it with his pink lips.
The look on your face compelled him, and he fully enveloped your nipple and started sucking roughly, still keeping eye contact. You were determined not to close your eyes, but it was difficult. You bit your lip to stay still.
Chris’s bandaged hand was dangerous, however, and it came up to pinch and roll your other nipple. You arched into his hand as he became rougher and rougher.
He switched nipples and hands and his saliva made your breast that much more pliable and sensitive. He slapped it, and then rubbed it with the rough bandage, making you cry out and moan as his other hand trailed down your body to your cunt.
“This pussy will still be mine, even if you leave me.” He smiled cockily while looking down on it.
He looked at you, before lifting his hand to his mouth, looking straight into your eyes and spitting on his fingers before bringing them down to your cunt.
“I think, that if even if you leave and move back to Houston, and I come to town, that if I I call you, even if you’re with someone else, you would meet me in a parking lot and let me fuck you over the hood of my rental car.”
He was faintly tracing your pussy lips and instantly your control was gone. You were sopping wet, because of his words and because of the knowledge that what he was saying was the truth.
“Oh,” was all you could say. You were adding to the wetness of the saliva on his fingers.
Chris smiled and tilted his head as his two thick digits breached your opening. He had his answer as you threw your head back and let him finger fuck you while he rolled and slapped and pinched your nipple.
His thumb was lightly brushing your clit and you wanted so much more. Chris could sense that and he pressed down roughly on it, causing an electric jolt up your body, which you keened for, arching your body into his hand.
Chris moved his hand from your breast to your neck and applied the pressure that you wanted and needed and that he was expert at while he stuffed another finger inside you and circled your clit with his thumb.
You floated among the clouds as you came like fireworks, and all over his hand.
He watched you come undone, and come down, rubbing his hard cock through his pants with one hand while he sucked your juices off his fingers, releasing each with a loud pop. When you opened your eyes, you smiled.
You pulled his hand and started licking yourself off him, flattening your tongue against his palm.
“I forgive you Chris. I forgave you when you conned your way into my room, you ass.”
You smiled against his hand as he groaned, relieved and desperate for you.
“But you still have some work to do.”
“What do you want? Anything.”
Now Chris was breathless, anticipating payback.
“First, you need to take those damn clothes off.”
He quickly moved to take off his shirt, and then stood up to take off his pants. You smirked as hs cock sprang up immediately when he peeled them down. He wasn’t wearing underwear.
Chris caught your look.
“What? I wanted to be prepared.” He chuckled softly while pumping his cock lightly, expecting to immediately fuck you.
He moved toward you. But you quickly moved off the couch and into the bedroom, forcing him to follow you, and his dick, into the other room.
You sat on the edge of the bed as he remained standing.
“What do you need, babe?”
You reached for his cock and tugged it toward you, opening your mouth and deep throating it, wetting it from root to tip and then spit on it. Chris moaned as you started to stroke. Then you stopped.
“I need you to jack off for me.”
“Ugh! You’re so fucking nasty. I love you.”
Chris instantly started where you left off. This didn’t seem like work.
You leaned back on your elbows, watching him, and licking your lips.
“And I need for you not to stop, and not to come. Until I tell you.”
You looked him in the eye and that was when Chris knew he was doomed. A chill ran down his spine as you reached down and started playing with your pussy.
“Fuck!”
You looked so damn good. He licked his lips and stroked harder and faster, his balls drawing up already.
“Shit, y/n.”
You watched his eyes, and got wetter at his blown pupils and glazed look.
“You like that?”
“Fuck yeah.”
His voice was broken and desperate. He fisted his cock, and held his balls, trying to stave off the inevitable.
You turned around, got on your knees and reached back between your legs and ran your fingers up and down your slit.
“How about that?”
“Goddamnit!”
Chris grunted as he tried to hold it in. You were a goddess. He licked his lips. Wanting to taste you. So he did.
He dove in, tongue competing with your fingers to command your slit. You finally gave in to his expert mouth and he savored your salty goodness.
“Fuck, Chris, you better still be…”
“I am. Christ.”
He was leaking in his hand, but he had it under control. Barely.
Chris stopped eating you out for a second, grabbed your ass cheek with one hand, stretched you open, spit on your tighter hole, and watched it slide down your satin lips to drip onto the bed.
His warm saliva made your pussy quiver and he watched it lovingly. Then he dove in again.
He sped up his movements with his other hand and you could hear the smooth skin of his dick sliding on his palm while his tongue did forbidden things to you.
“Ffffffuuckkkkkkk! Chrisssss.”
You came, burying your scream in the mattress, and even harder than before. You couldn’t believe that he’d turned the tables on you.
Chris ate you out through your orgasm, holding you down with one hand like it was nothing.
He was god of war, love, and sex, all at once.
Fuck Captain America.
You came again, almost immediately.
When he was done with his meal, he let you go, wiped his mouth with the back of his free hand and stepped back.
“Fuck, what do you want me to do? I can’t take it much longer…” Chris’s sexy growling voice got to you.
“What do you wanna do, Chris? How do you want to take me, Daddy?” Chris’s cock jumped in his hand, he slapped your ass, and watched it jiggle.
Chris entered your wet, wet pussy, and marvel how if felt like it was choking the life out of him. He had to stop moving, or he would burst almost immediately.
“How the fuck are you so wet, but so tight. It’s like a fucking vice grip, geeze.”
You both waited and felt it jump inside you, then Chris reached down, grabbed you by the neck and pulled you upright and flush to his chest.
One hand clutched your throat and the other arm hooked under your leg, allowing him to piston up into you upright while your other leg dangled, your big toe barely touching the ground.
Chris held you and fucked up into you, grunting each time the large mushroom cap head of his cock was stuffed into your pussy.
“Ugh, gatdamn it, you were thinking of leaving, ugh, you wanted to leave this, mmmmmm, this dick that, ugh, that fucks you like this?”
Chris’s mouth was near your ear, which was on his shoulder because your head had fallen back on his chest. He was using you like a sex toy as he fucked you senseless.
His dick slicked in and out of you with obscene wetness, Chris somehow lifting you up and slipping completely out of you and pounding back into you with force.
“Chris!!!”
You started shaking, your center of gravity being where you and he were connected.
He fucked you even harder and faster, chasing his release, but he maneuvered his hand to find your clit, refusing to come before you.
“Fuck! You know you were going to miss this cock that your sweet cunt fits… like… a …mutha …fuckin… glove!”
"Ahhhh!"
You screamed as you fluttered around his cock. He could take only so much before he had to shut his eyes and bite down on your collarbone. Chris’s legs were trembling now.
"Take all of it!." He was hitting your spot. "How does it feel?"
Although the feeling was intense, you tried to speak.
"L-l-l-like h-heav-v-v-ennnnn."
The sound of your voice made his release start to build.
With each of his thrusts, the sweet tightness began to build until you came, screaming and moaning in pleasure.
“Oh shiiiiitttttt!” Chris exploded inside your tight wet cunt. He wanted to fill you up like never before. He wanted to put his baby in you and tie you forever to him. That made his balls empty.
He fell back on the bed, with you on top of him, slipping out of you and depositing you on the bed beside him.
Chris couldn't help but smile as you both came down. He was made for this.
Chris put his hand on your cheek, brushing your beautiful lips with his thumb. You smiled under his attention into his sea blue eyes.
“I love you.” You grinned.
“God, I love you.” You sobered up, taking in the weight of his words.
“Is it weird that I want to get you pregnant before we’re married?”
You made a face.
“Who says I want to marry you?”
Chris scooped you in his arms and rolled you over on top of him.
“You don’t want to marry me? You’d say no if I asked?”
You held in a giggle.
“Nah. I’m gonna move back to Houston and marry someone else so you can come in town and fuck me over the hood of your rental car. That sounds hot as fuck.”
Chris released an anxious breath.
You took his head in your hands.
“Easy now. Ask what you want to ask.” Chris started to speak. You put your finger over his mouth.
“When you want to ask it.” You looked into his eyes again. “I won’t break your heart.”
Chris smiled at you and said, “I know.” He kissed you.
And when you pulled away, breathless, he told you, “You’re the One.”

Golden Guard x Reader- True Colours
A/N: I wanted to get back into the swing of things before redoing the requests. There may or may not be a few Amphibia references in here…since i watched it quite recently... Spoilers for Hunting Palisman. Also anyone get the reference of the title?
Being in the Emperor’s Coven wasn’t easy. From battling monsters and demons to rogue witches and a certain human, I was surprised I was still alive. A regular guard was just a pawn for the Emperor. Yet, I had no choice, since my parents had already planned my future while I was still young. I wanted to make them proud, and I really did try. But it seems like being a normal guard in the Emperor’s Coven wasn’t enough. I needed to go bigger, eliminate anyone in my way if I had to. I was going to do it for them, and for my lost Palisman, Froggit. (IT WAS THE ONLY THING THAT CAME TO MIND-) Standing at attention, I watched all the servants and guards walk by. I was assigned outside the Throne room today. Kikimori happened to be walking by as the door opened. She gasped. “Golden Guard?! You’re alive! I heard about the crash-“ The “Golden Guard” came into view. He greeted Kiki, and I had the time to observe him. He was about my age, with blonde hair, red eyes, and a scar on his right cheek. As he walked away from Kikimori, he looked my way. I hadn’t realised I had turned to face them. Quickly standing to attention, I stiffened as he stopped in front of me. “Sir.” I saluted. He raised an eye-brow, looking at my badge. (Ima just pretend the badges have names engraved into them in small lettering or something). “Haven’t seen you around here much. When did you join the Emperor’s Coven?” He asked casually. I glared through my mask. “Two weeks ago, sir.” I replied, trying my best to keep my voice calm. He smiled. “Well, miss ‘Y/N’, it’s nice to meet you. The names Hunter.” I didn’t reply back. After a few minutes of silence, he sighs. “Welp, I better be going. See you around.” As he walked away, I let my shoulders relax a bit. Glaring after him, I watched him disappear. So, a higher rank, right? Well, we’ll see about that. Don’t try to chit-chat me, Hunter. You’re nothing but a rival. Later that evening… I let out a yawn. It was late, and I was the only guard patrolling this side of the castle. Lifting my mask to rub my tired eyes, I heard a loud bang, followed by yelp of pain. “Palisman!” Someone hissed. Pulling my mask back down, I held my staff out. “COME OUT! I KNOW YOU’RE THERE!” I yelled out. There was nothing but silence. Turning a corner, I caught someone running away, carrying something. “Hey!” I gave chase, following the intruder down the corridors. As I ran, I realised they seemed to know exactly where they were going. Running by halls that lead to dead ends, and avoiding doors that entered into closed off rooms. Using my staff, I sped up, running in front of the witch. He came to a stop, almost tripping. Holding out my staff, I was about to zap him, when I realised it was Hunter. A small, red bird Palisman sat on his shoulder. I smirked under my mask. Hiding a Palisman? One that has wild magic? This was treason. Oh, Emperor Belos is going to love this. “You stay here.” I stated, using a spell to keep him in place. As he struggled, I began to walk off. If he’d been keeping a wild Palisman, who knew what he could do with it. Best to retrieve back-up, and quickly. As I turned my back, he yelled out to me. “Wait! Don’t tell Belos!” Ignoring him, I continued. “I know what he does to them! He kills them!” Stopping, I turned back to the Golden Guard. “What do you mean by that?” I questioned cautiously. Hunter closed his eyes, letting out a sigh. “Emperor Belos isn’t a witch. I don’t know what he is, or what happened to him. All I know is that he uses the magic in the Palismans to keep himself powerful and in a stable condition.” My mind went to Froggit, my Palisman before I joined the Coven. He went missing as soon as I joined…he couldn’t have… “Y-you’re lying, aren’t you?” I growled. The Palisman sitting on his shoulder chirped. After a moment of silence, I released the Golden guard. Turnng my back to him once again, I growled under my breath. “Get out of here before I change my mind.” Hunter didn’t need to be asked twice. Making sure the Palisman wasn’t hurt, he left, returning to his dorm. About an hour later, another guard took over my shift. Rushing back to my dorm, I leaned against the door. It couldn’t be true. Emperor Belos would never hurt my Palisman, would he? I let out a shaky breath. He couldn’t have…right? Finishing up my carving, I stared lovingly at the Frog as I held it up to the sunlight. “And done! Welcome to the world little buddy!” I whispered, blowing the flakes away. Smiling widely, I placed the wooden frog on my bedside table. All I had to do now was wait. He should wake up in a few minutes. Leaning back on my bed, I picked up my book, looking at all the human creatures inside. I loved looking at all the pictures, and even chose one as my Palisman. There were so many amazing creatures, for awhile I couldn’t pick. I had finally settled for a “frog”, since they sounded so amazing. Hearing a croak, I looked up from my book. My new Palisman had woken up, and was crawling around and curiously peering at the objects on my bed stand. “Hey there little guy.” I cooed, picking him up. He let out another croak. “Welcome to the Boiling Isles! You’re so cute!” He tilted his head curiously in my direction, letting out another excited croak. Giggling, I gently pet him. “I’ll keep you safe Froggit. I won’t let anything bad happen to you.” I jolted awake, rubbing my teary eyes as I sat up. Silent sobs threatened to erupt from my throat. Taking a few minutes to calm myself, I inhaled slowly. This wasn’t a coincidence, wasn’t it? Froggit was gone, and I had failed to protect him. He had probably died a horrible death, scared and all alone. Checking the window, I noticed the sun was rising. I had to get ready for today. As I stood up, I felt my stomach squirm in guilt. Looking around my room, i grabbed a satchel, collecting things and preparing. I had to get out of here. I was NOT going to work with a Coven that murdered my Palisman, no matter what my parents say. I would have failed them, but nothing was worse than knowing I had failed my Palisman, my only friend. A loud knock came from the door. Looking up, I stared hard at the door. Who could that be? I’m not late for something, am I? The knocking came again. Walking over, I opened the door to find Kikimori there. She seemed to be glaring daggers into my soul, even though she was way shorter than me. “The Emperor wants to speak with you immediately.” She stated, walking away. Why does the Emperor want to see me? I took off my mask as I stood in front of the throne room. My knees shook thinking over the things the Golden Guard had said the night previously. The Emperor wasn’t who I thought he was, and that thought alone terrified me. Clutching my mask, I opened the doors. Mutterings were coming from the other side of the room as I entered. Walking along the corridor, I took note that a few guards, as well as the Golden Guard and Emperor Belos were in the room. Belos was talking to the Golden Guard, but stopped when I entered. I bowed down to the Emperor, as I felt his eyes bare into my soul. “You must be Y/N L/N, right? Hunter has told me so much about you.” He stated. I bowed my head, keeping an eye on Hunter. He seemed to be distracted, since he didn’t seem to be paying attention to us. “He’s told me of all your hard work so far, and that you’re trust worthy. So, I have made up my mind.” He stood up, grabbing onto his staff. What was he doing? “You’ve been moved up to Captain of the guards, since ours has…retired. How does that sound?” Shocked, I glanced up to Hunter. His eyes were averted, refusing to look at me. “I-it’s an honour, my lord…” I stuttered. “B-but, I-i’m just a humble guard, there’s no need to put me as Captain so soon-“ I was cut off as something headed my way, barely missing me by a hair. I stiffened, following the pointed object toward the Emperor. It was….his…arm…. He took the object away. “I'm afraid you don’t have a choice in this matter. Your first mission starts tonight. You’ll be accompanied by Hunter. You’ll be given your badge in the morning.” He waves his hand, signifying I could leave. I nodded. “Y-yes, my Lord.” With that, I placed my helmet back on, walking briskly out of the room. Opening the door, I jumped a little when Kikimori was waiting on the other side. She said nothing, just simply glared at me then left. After watching her disappear around the corner, I let out an angry sigh. What was I gonna do? Later that night…. The Golden Guard was standing beside me, steering the ship we flew in. There was an awkward silence for the first 10 minutes of the flight, with both of us avoiding eye contact. Apparently, we were meant to be looking for Palismans. “So…everything you said the other night was true.” I mumbled. The Golden guard hummed in response. “Unfortunately, yes.” Another silence ensured. “I wasn’t expecting him to make you Captain. I just wanted to help you out a bit, since you helped me. I’m sorry if it wasn’t what you wanted…” I let out a sigh. “It’s fine." That’s when he turned to me. His eyes were filled with sympathy. “I’m also sorry about your Palisman…” I whipped around to face him. “How-“ “It’s not hard. Everyone has a Palisman when they first arrive. They disappear after the first week, and given a “new and improved” staff. It’s becoming more common. Only a few are allowed to keep their Palismans.” He stated, his brows furrowing as his gaze returned to the horizon. “You seem to know a fair bit.” I said. He shrugged. “One of the few perks of being the Emperor’s right-hand man.” I nodded understandingly. Being right-hand man couldn’t have been easy. There would’ve been many people trying to back-stab him. I WAS one of them.
“…what was it like? Your Palisman?” He asked curiously. I smiled under my mask. “He was my best friend. A lot of people questioned why I chose a monster from the human realm, but it didn’t matter. I loved him almost like my own child…” I felt the tears threatening to overflow once again. Hunter smiled. “He sounded nice.” I looked over to him curiously. “You say that as if you’ve never had a Palisman.” His eyes widened, before he turned his face away from me. “…this Palisman is actually my first. I didn’t do well in school, so I never achieved my staff.” Was all he replied. Great. Now I felt bad. “I’m sorry…" He chuckled. “It’s alright. There wasn’t a chance you could’ve known.” Letting out a sigh, I took my mask off. What was the point of hiding my face while meeting a new friend? Letting my hair fall down, I hear Hunter let out a small gasp. I raise an eyebrow, turning my gaze to him. His eyes were wide open, staring at me. “What are you looking at?” “You…you’re beautiful…” My own eyes widened, and I felt my cheeks heat up. Hunter realised that he said it out loud, and his own face lit up. “I-i’m so sorry! I-“ “Just be quiet.” I growled, turning away so then Hunter wouldn’t see me. The ship shook, and I felt it begin to fall rapidly toward the ground. I watched in terror as the ground came closer, and I blacked out as we hit the ground. “Hey! Y/n, wake up!” Someone hissed quietly.
I let out a groan as I opened my tired eyes. Hunter was gently shaking me, looking around frantically at his surroundings. “W-what happened?” I grumbled, sitting up. Hunter clasped a hand over my mouth. I was about to object, when he pointed to a certain short monster on the other side of the rocks. It was Kikimori, and she did not look happy. She seemed to be carrying a stone. I recognised it from history books. They made the possessor stronger. “I KNOW YOU’RE HERE GOLDEN GUARD! AND I KNOW WHAT YOU DID THE OTHER NIGHT!” She shrieked. My brows furrowed, looking toward Hunter. “What is she talking about?” I hissed. He reached for his broken staff. I hadn’t noticed that before. “I’ll explain later. Right now, we need to get out of here.” He whispered back. Without warning, he grabbed my hand, leading me away from the angry monster. Once we were far enough away, I pulled my hand free from his. “What the hex was that about?!” I yelled. Hunter let out a sigh. “Look, the other night I was assigned to collect Palismans. I told my Uncle that I had failed, but the real reason was that I let them go. Kiki and the human Luz was involved and…things just got out of hand.” He was looking down at his feet. “If I told him what had really happened, then he would kill both of us…” I listened carefully. When he was finished, I smiled softly. ‘Hey…you did the right thing.” I said, placing a hand on his shoulder. Surprised for a moment, Hunter smiled. “So, what are we gonna do? We can’t tell your Uncle we failed to retrieve them again. He’d find out for sure.” I said. Hunter thought for a moment, before a smirk crossed his features. “Not unless we disappeared.” I stared blankly at him for a moment. What did he mean by that? “What do you mean?” “Alright, this is the plan.” Waiting outside the castle, I tapped my foot impatiently. Hunter had gone into the castle to retrieve his Palisman, leaving me outside to wait. It had been 10 minutes already. Shouldn’t he be back by now? Something must’ve happened. Letting out a growl, I clutched my staff, heading inside. Once inside, I passed a few of the guards. None tried stopping me, just giving a nod as I passed by. They took note of my badge it seemed. As I walked pass the throne room, I halted when I heard a cry of pain come from within. “NO, PLEASE! DON’T HURT HIM!” That was Hunter. Rushing over, I swung the doors open. There was Hunter, being held by two guards. Kikimori held his Palisman, about to hand it over to Emperor Belos. Everyone stopped what they were doing when I entered, turning to face me. Emperor Belos was the only one to recognise me. “Ah, Y/n! A nice surprise! No need for any assistance. You see, Hunter here has been keeping secrets from us.” He stated gesturing to Hunter. “But Kikimori has saved us by warning us of his treason. He’ll be thrown into the dungeon shortly, and this…Palisman will be dealt with.” At that, Kikimori was about to hand the Palisman to the Emperor. Rage filled me, and before I realised what I was doing, I had sent a spell their way. The Palisman was thrown from Kikimori’s hands, falling to the ground out of reach. Everyone let out a gasp. Tears overflowed from my eyes as rage coursed through me. “No one else’s Palisman’s are getting hurt under my watch.” I growled. Belos straightened his posture. “I see. You’re a traitor to our kind. Guards, get her!” He yelled. The guards holding Hunter let him go, charging toward me. Using my staff, I quickly defeated them, swinging my staff against their skulls. Both fell unconscious. Without thinking, I charged Belos. He killed my Palisman. Before my staff made contact with him, he used his own magic to throw me against the wall. Yelping in pain, I stumbled to my feet. My vision was still blurry from the impact, hence why I didn’t see Belos walking towards me. I was pushed back against the wall. Something was piercing into my neck, and I realised it was the Emperor’s staff. “You’ll have the same fate as your Palisman.” He hissed. Choking for air, my vision was getting darker and darker as I stared murderously into Belos’ eyes. I finally felt myself drop to the ground, the Emperor letting out a groan of pain as he was attacked from the side. Strong hands lifted me up, helping me limp away from the scene. Hunter got his Palisman ready, ordering me to get on. Doing so, I left my staff lying on the ground, clutching his waist tightly as we escaped the castle. I buried my face in Hunters shoulder as we flew over the Boiling Isles. Neither of us had spoken for a while, and honestly I was too shocked. Finally, Hunter spoke up. “Thank you for that. That was very courageous of you to stand up to him. Are you ok?” “Y-yeah, I’m ok…where are we going? Do you have a place in mind?” I asked, looking down at our surroundings. We were near Bones Marrow (was that what it was called?), and I curious if he had a destination. Hunter smiles at my question. “I have a friend nearby. We’ll seek shelter there if she’ll allow it.” With that, he neared the forest floor, landing quietly in the bushes. I looked up at the building in front of us. I knew this place, although I’d never been to it myself. This was the Owl House, home of one of the most powerful witches on the Isle, Eda the Owl lady. Well, WAS the most powerful. Hunter walked up the doorstep, and was about to knock when a large owl tube on the door spoke up, startling both of us. “OOH VISITORS! FROM THE EMPEROR COVEN TOO! HAVE YOU COME HERE TO BE MY FRIEND?!” The door opened, revealing Luz the human. Her smile lit up when she realised it was Hunter. “Hunter! Hi! What are you doing here? And who’s your friend? You aren’t…here to arrest me, are you?” She asked suspiciously, closing the door ajar as she squinted her eyes. I almost laughed at how childish she was. “No, sorry to disappoint. Me and my friend were going to ask if we could stay for awhile? We…kinda left the coven.” Hunter said, gesturing to himself and I. I gave a little wave. Luz’s eyes widened in surprise, her smile returning. “Of course! Come in! We have…room for two more!” Opening the door, she let us inside. Hunter stepped in first, but was stopped by an ice wall. He let out a yelp of surprise, and Luz was yelling at someone. “Lillith! Be nice!” Lillith? Where have I heard that name? It clicked when I caught sight of her. There, in what I assumed to be human clothes, stood Lillith, my role model ever since I was a small witchling. I almost jumped up and down in excitement, if it wasn’t for the shock of the ice bars between us. “Human! This is the Golden Guard! We can’t let him in here! What if it’s a trick?!” Lillith shrieked. Luz tried to calm her down, explaining that he’d changed. Another woman stepped into the room, followed by a small demon with a skull on his head. “Alright, what’s going on here?” She muttered. Luz sighed in relief. “Oh thank god you’re here, Eda. My friends need a place to stay, and-“ Eda? Lillith cut her off. “HE’S THE GOLDEN GUARD! It could be a trap!” She screamed, gesturing to the two of us. Hunter didn’t say anything, just let out a nervous chuckle. Eda only stared at us tiredly. “…..if it’s a trap we won’t hesitate to knock em’ out cold. Just let em in.” She grumbled, sitting on the couch as she drank something from out of a cup. Lillith stuttered indignantly, while Luz used what I assumed a random piece of paper to create fire. Melting the bars, she let the two of us inside.
A few minutes later, Hunter and I were sitting beside each other on two chairs, while Lillith, Luz, and Eda were sitting on the couch. He had just finished explaining what had happened with Emperor Belos mere hours before. Lillith had her arms crossed, staring at us suspiciously, while Eda was peacefully sipping at her apple-blood. Luz was holding the little demon, who I found out was named King. Luz spoke up first. “So…now you’re wanted criminals?” She asked, concerned. Hunter pat his Palisman. “It would appear so.” He muttered. Lillith didn’t say anything, but it was obvious from her body language she didn’t trust us. Eda the owl lady smiled comfortingly. “Well, I guess an enemy to Belos is a friend of mine. Welcome to the Owl House kids.” She chuckled. “Thank you.” I replied. Luz pointed accusingly at me. “AHA! YOU DO SPEAK!” She yelled. I chuckled. “So what’s your name, kid?” Eda asked. “I’m Y/n. Nice to meet you all. Especially you Lillith!” She turned to me, raising a brow. “Why’s that, witchling?” “You’ve always been a role-model for me! I feel so honoured meeting you in person!” I said, my smile brightening to finally have an opportunity to speak to my hero. Lillith smiled. “Thank you, witchling.” A few weeks later… Hunter and I had officially moved into the Owl House. It was a bit crowded but it became our home. Eda was teaching Hunter how to take care of his Palisman, plus how to use and treat it. I on the other hand, began to classes with Lillith and Luz, learning how to master glyphs. Sure, I still had my powers, but in case of emergencies I wanted to learn about these strange little symbols. We had become wanted criminals that day, and our wanted posters were stuck up all over the Boiling Isles. I felt a light tap on my shoulder. Turning around, I realised it was Hunter. “Hey Y/n, I have a surprise for you.” He said, grabbing my hand and leading me away from the Owl house. Dragging me through town, we snuck by many wanted posters of us. He finally stopped outside of Hexside, a school I had once attended before joining the Emperor’s Coven. Knocking on the door, Principal Bump opened. “Ah, good you’re here! Just in time too!” He whispered, taking down another poster that was stuck to his door. He smiled down at the two of us. “Good to see you again Y/n. Come this way!” Leading us onto the Grudgby field, I noticed Eda was standing beside a large, wooden stump. She walked over to us excitedly. “Y/n! Hunter had told us what had happened to your Palisman, so Bumpy, Hunter and I decided to give you a little surprise. I introduce to you…” The Bat Queen flew down, landing on the stump and opening the door. Many Palismans with cracks ran out, looking around curiously. “To the Palismans! These little guys need a good home again, and one lucky one may pick you.” My eyes widened in awe, as I clasped my hands over my mouth. Tears pricked at the corners of my eyes as I hugged Hunter, who was standing beside me. “THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!” I cried. Realising what I was doing, my face heated up, and I immediately let go, looking away in embarrassment. He did the same, scratching his neck as a pink flush covered his cheeks. Eda chuckled at our interaction. “Alright. All you gotta do is kneel down, say a goal you want to achieve and one should choose you.” She stated. I grinned as I knelt down, looking at all the cute Palismans scuttling about. “I want a powerful Palisman to help protect those I care about.” I said. One Palisman began to glow. It looked like a lizard from the human realm, but with a scorpion tail and sharp claws. I held out my hands as it turned into a staff, landing gently in my hands as the Palisman happily growled. My grin widened as I looked excitedly back at Hunter, hugging the Palisman close. Everything was going to be ok now.

Sorry for the wait! Next chapter is due as soon as possible, Enjoy!
"You’re not supposed to hug dogs you know." A voice said behind you.
You jumped, turning on your heels into a defensive pose. You jerked your pocketknife from its holster in your sock, holding it in one hand and swayed it side to side. The man in front of you jumped a little but didn’t cower. He showed strength. Something one desperately needed in the apocalypse.
You watched him stand there with boredom. His wavy brown hair blew in his face as the wind picked up. His blue eyes were relaxed and made contact with everything except your face, probably making sure you didn’t make a move to hurt him. You were strong and could take care of one or two people at a time, but something about this man intimidated you. Something said that he had long since been fighting- even before the outbreak.
This was his normal.
There was no doubt he could carry his own weight and maybe thrice times that.
You both stood there for a couple of minutes before he sighed; obviously tired of standing and staring.
"It’s not benefitting anyone for you to hold my dog hostage.” He quipped, holding his eyes on the knife. You grew suspicious if it was really his dog but let it go, putting your knife down. What were the odds that a random man was around at the same time a dog was?
His eyes fell from the knife with relief, but he still hadn’t looked at you. He, instead, paired his eyes onto his dog and patted his right leg two times. You watched and turned to the dog. He whined a little bit from your friendly touch lost but hurriedly made his way to the man’s side. He really was the owner then.
“You’re not going to ask why?” He asked, walking from the alleyway into the park again. His dog sniffed surrounding areas and near trees, finding a place to use the bathroom. You got up and walked hesitantly with the guy and his dog. You didn’t want to part ways so fast with the first dog you saw in ages.
You scanned the man’s face and eyes that only seemed to see his pet. “I don’t know.” You replied, pausing and thinking before replying. “I'm not much into making friends with other survivors.”
It was the truth. Even if you had mingled with them in the past, you never actually made friends or stuck around long enough to build that connection.
“I can agree with you on that.” He nodded, whistling a drawn-out note. The dog immediately laid down in the grass after it finished its business. “I’m not so social either.”
You didn’t know what to say back to that, so you didn’t say anything at all. After a couple of seconds, you decided to sit next to the Shepard. It’s tail wagged and it seemed to enjoy you. Or maybe it was just because you were a new person. You didn’t know how many people this dog had saw in its lifetime, but it probably wasn’t many.
Born in a world where it knows no different. You thought, maybe that’s a blessing.
“Name?” You asked.
“I don’t give out my name to strangers.” He replied. He watched you as you stared at his dog, petting it softly.
You made a face that seemed like it was between being pissed off and being constipated. You heard a snort to your side and whipped your head to the man. You really didn’t know what his deal was.
“Not you,” you made a ‘duh’ face, “Your dog.”
“Oh.” he blushed. “His name is Kylo.”
It was your turn to snort now.
“Star Wars Fan?”
“You too?”
“Yeah.” you finished the conversation with a head nod and a small smile. It seemed like he tried to smile back but all his face had shown was a sidewards line. He definitely wasn’t lying when he said he wasn’t very social. Maybe he wasn’t all that bad.
You invited the man to sit down next to you and his dog which he accepted. He just looked across the open park yard, seeming to be keeping an eye out for something- maybe someone.
“Someone else with you?” You asked, feeling worried. He looked puzzled, as if you had just said something crazy.
“What?” He scratched his face. “No.”
“Well, you look as if you’re expecting someone.” You blinked, taking your eyes off him. “Or maybe there’s someone out to get you.”
He laughed, seemingly surprised. “You’re smarter than I expected.” He said but then realized how it sounded as you arched an eyebrow. “Well-” He coughed. “Well, most survivors don’t know anything but fighting and hunting. Though, nothing's wrong with that, you seem like you had actually interacted with others before this whole thing happened.”
You grinned, “So I’m right?”
“Something like that.”
The conversation had ended awkwardly, but it left a smile on his face. He went silent, then brought Star Wars up again. You guys talked about that before he brought up a couple of different movies and shows he wanted to know if you had seen. You two had spent a lot of time talking about media you found exciting for a couple of hours. As well as some personal information of who you were before the apocalypse.
You had found out he was twenty-three years old (same as you) and loved murder mysteries. You shot him a quick few lines from the original Black Christmas and he reciprocated with his best impression of the police officer talking with Agnes. He told you about how he found his dog and how he had multiple others in a barn with self-feeding bowls, its own heating, and many other things the dogs could use themselves while he wasn’t there. He definitely loved his dogs. You told him you wanted to meet them sometime.
He agreed and you made him promise. He laughed at that again.
You went into detail with how much you despised documentaries and he laughed wholeheartedly with appreciation for your anger. You both talked and talked. Only stopping when it got dark. You eventually said goodbye to each other, and he walked you to your car, making sure you got in it safely.
You offered him a ride, but he said he had his own. He told you he would go to his dog's barn for the night, and you nodded, telling him you’d see him around sometime. It wasn’t as much of a lie as it was you just being hopeful. You had hoped you could see him again.
Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad making a friend this time around.
A friend.

There are a lot of places i thought i would be by now. Out of state, at school, at home maybe…but I never thought I’d be at one of Hannibal’s guest rooms after a night of one of his famous dinner parties.
I drank, yes. Even if I’m not 21 it doesn’t matter because now that laws aren’t valid anymore, it doesn’t really matter. Hannibal had made the fanciest food id eaten for a while; the taste as delicious as usual.
I do wonder where he got most of his ingredients and when he had time to get them, but I really don’t put too much thought into it. I don’t care enough.
It’s strange though, Hannibal had come to me last night after the dinner party and said he was proud of me. Just… out of the blue. I would say that he said it to be nice, but he doesn’t care how he’s perceived or even to be nice, so I know that would be a lie.
I won’t say it didn’t make me happy- because it did. I just wish I could hear it from someone that doesn’t know all of my faults and problems. Maybe he said it because he knew my father never said it to me.
It would be nice if Hannibal was my actual father.
Maybe in another life.

I need to start writing in this book more, especially with whatever the hell is going on in this subdivision (? if you would call it that.)
I don’t mind being here at times, because sometimes it’s nice being in the company of other people. But when you are around people who only obsess over one person and don’t seem to think of anything but them… it gets a little concerning. It makes me wonder what they would do without him.
I mean, it’s not too hard to imagine about what they would do. Whether it be they cry, go on rampages, kill anyone and everyone, or just change their admiration to some other poor sap. There are endless possibilities with these crazy weirdos.
Speaking of crazy, it’s almost impossible for people to leave this subdivision without anyone knowing. I found a way too and maybe they just let it go because I’m like Hannibal’s son, but anyone else who tries to leave gets shamed.
Like…mid evil shamed. I don’t know that’s just how I can describe it. I’m surprised they don’t stone them next.
Which brings me to my next point: Someone (besides me) actually has left. Well, no… no one actually knows if they’ve left or not, but they’re missing technically.
No one really cares. Everyone says that they never deserved to be in Hannibal’s presence anyway, and that they were a rude stuck-up prick who just sucked the life force out of others. Their words- not mine.
But I feel like someone has to know something. These people have eyes everywhere after all. Again, their words-not mine.
Will Graham. Thursday, January 15th, 2015
They still haven’t come back.
Surprisingly, I’m not shocked. Because if they really did leave, I don’t think anyone would let them be in peace. They’ve basically been shunned by everyone.
There's not much to write about today. Nothing is really going on.
I'm going to see if I can sneak back out to the house I found soon. I need a break.
-
When you had gotten back home, you hadn't done anything except flop on your bed and revel in the human connection you felt. It was one thing for you to meet a survivor, but it was another to meet one with the same interests as you.
You had realized on the way back that you hadn't gotten his name, too busy in conversation to introduce yourselves. You really hoped you could meet him again soon, and if you eventually were friends then maybe he could travel the states with you.
You then thought about his dogs and blanked. Sure, you really did want him to travel with you, but you would want his dogs to come as well. You couldn't figure out how that would work, maybe you could get an RV, one big enough to hold the dogs and two people.
This is getting weird, you blushed, I just met him.
You decided to read a couple more entries before laying down to sleep.
*****
Fuck, fuck, fuck... Will thought, running towards the tree line. His breath picked up as his legs overworked themselves, stumbling over a few overgrown patches of weeds and grass. He quickly took a look over his shoulder barely giving himself whiplash and jumped as he saw a hand reaching for him.
He dodged and heard a grunt as someone fell, he laughed and kept running. His dog ran near him, clearly more athletic than his owner. A voice yelled as they neared him, scaring the ever-loving shit out of Will as he ducked under some trees. His dog barked, urging his owner to follow him.
Will didn't hesitate and followed Kylo, hearing another rustle of leaves and then a frustrated bellow.
The two made a U-turn and exited the woods, running back to his abandoned car and putting it into drive. He distractedly put his seat belt on, tumbling over his own hands. He shouted "Fuck it" before pushing his foot on the gas, driving wild.
Will looked in his rear view and saw that one of the people had realized he was out of the woods. They shouted and waved animatedly to their buddies, yelling only what Will imagined as a looney toons-style scream. He breathed deeply checking on his dog quickly before ruffling his fur.
They had gotten pretty far away from the scene before Will stopped to give his dog some water, taking a bowl and water bottle out of his trunk.
He stood there, resting some of his body on the car and smiled as he recalled the look on their faces. An angry, entitled, self-pitying look befallen all of their masks. Hannibal's lackies sure had hated him.
Specially to get so worked up chasing after him.
He sighed and put everything back into his car, before wondering what Hannibal wanted now.
It had only been, what? Two or three weeks since he had ditched them, and it wasn't like he was leaving for good. He just needed a little bit of time before going back to that hell.
Hell, he would've invited Hannibal himself if his followers weren't such obsessive freaks.
Putting his car into drive again, he decided it was time for him to visit the old subdivision again.

In Another Life
Pairing: Bucky x reader
Warnings: fluff with a sprinkle of angst and happy tears, cursing
Summary: you lost Bucky back in the 40s but you finally can reunite
Based on Katy Perry’s ‘The one that got away’ but you don’t have to have listened to it to read the fic
You still remember the day when you guys first met, he smiled at you in the dancing hall, and asked you for a dance. How could anyone resist that smile? You danced the night away, and gave him a kiss goodbye. When you got him, you realized you hadn’t given him your name, or address or anything, your chances of meeting your mysterious lover boy again were slim. Do you know how many people there were in Brooklyn!
Still, you headed back the next night, and apparently he had the same idea, you both decided to skip the dancing and go to Coney Island, you both talked and talked.
You also remember the day your life started to end. The day he left for war. You woke up early with him before he had to go catch the train, you gave him a final kiss goodbye before he left off on the train, you kept up your strong exterior until after he was too far gone to see you.
The day the first letter came, stating he had died in service, a part of you died as well. He’s given you a promise ring, saying after he got back, he’d exchange it for a real, wedding one, but that was all gone now.
Then Steve came and said there was someone there with him, who wanted to meet you. You complied, and when Steve moved out of the way, your lover boy was there. A little bruised and a little shaken but he was there, alive.
When he fell off the train, you were in denial at first, but when Steve explained he’d seen it all, you gave up, he wasn’t coming back this time.
~huge time skip to 2017ish (but instead of Civil War happening, Bucky went to Wakanda and came back to be an Avenger)~
Steve was walking down the streets of Brooklyn, he had ventured back to see if he could find something for Bucky. He was walking past an old coffee shop that was still open and reminiscing about the times he had gone there in the 40s. That’s when he accidentally ran into a woman, “oh my lord, I’m so sorry, I wasn’t lookin’ where I was heading.” Steve chuckled at the woman’s apology, it reminded him of Bucky’s best gal from the 40s who always said heading instead of going. “It was my bad ma’am, my head was in the clouds.” Steve finally looked at the woman he’d run into, “What” He questioned, very confused. “I’m sorry?” You hadn’t heard him fully, “I’m sorry, you looked like someone I used to know, but she’s probably dead by now, you aren’t by any chance related to a Y/N L/N are you?” You smiled, “Well, according to a guy in an eye patch, I have no clue who you’re talking about, but,” you winked at Steve. “Y/N!?!? How are you? Gosh, you haven’t aged a day!” You shushed your old friend, “keep it down will ya! And I would explain it all but Fury said I’m not allowed to even talk to you. Is Bucky alright?” Steve was really confused, “what? Why?” “When he found out about me, he gave me two options, I either fight with shield, or I go into hiding, and am not allowed to, and I quote, ‘talk to, or in any way contact, anyone from your past,’ which included you. You also know I could never fight anyone, that’s just not me, I save people, not hurt them. So I had to choose the second option. Now please, is Bucky doing alright?” “That’s absurd,” Steve complained, “you know what, you’re coming with me to the tower, and if Fury has anything to say about it, I’ll deal with him. And Bucky is doing not too bad, but he’d be doing a lot better with you there, he remembers you, and is grieving, a lot, he thinks your dead, like I did.” You smiled, “lead the way to the tower, I need to see my Buck Buck,” Steve laughed at the familiar nickname. “We can take my bike,” he added, “it’s over here.”
The drive to the tower you were nervous, would Bucky still love you, would he hate you now, have you changed to much for his liking? You weren’t sure, but you wouldn’t know unless you tried, and at least it was closure.
You were in the elevator with Steve heading up to the tower, Steve was going to go in first and tell Bucky he had a surprise for him. After meeting him again, you would explain to both guys how and why you were alive still.
“Punk, why do I need to close my eyes for the surprise? I swear if you and Sam are pranking me again I’ll eat all the doughnuts.” Steve was just smiling like a dope, excited to see his best friend reunite with his best gal, who was also Steve’s other best friend. “Open them!” Bucky’s eyes flew open, he stared at you for a second, not saying anything. You were starting to get worried, then his voice cut threw, “you’re dead, no, no, no, Steve, she, she died, you told me she had died.” “I’m alive Buck Buck, I promise, I’m real, and I’m here,” Bucky looked at you with tears in his eyes, he ran towards you and wrapped his arms around you, you then started tearing up, “I thought you were dead, I was heartbroken,” he mumbled into you, still clinging on. “Had to give you a taste of your own medicine,” you joked, hugging him harder. “No, but seriously, I’ll tell you everything in a minute, just want to hug you for a little longer.” You finally separated after another minute or two.
You sat both guys down across from you, so you could share your story. “So a year after Steve fell under the ice, Howard came up with what he thought was a super serum, he asked for volunteers, but there were too many risks for most people. I had lost everything, so I volunteered, yes I know it was kind of stupid, but as of now, the best decision I ever made. It worked, but it couldn’t be repeated. The government wasn’t happy that their new super soldier was a woman, they thought I was still too weak, so Howard and I agreed to stick me in an ice capsule till the world accepted us as equals, or there were enough advancements where he could recreate the serum. Then he would take me out of the capsule, but that never happened, he died before he could, and with no record of me anywhere, no one else took me out till the year after the alien invasion, when Fury found me.” You explained the options Fury gave and how you had to choose the second one, Bucky completely understood. Steve then left to leave you both alone to talk.
“Doll, I want to start off by apologizing.” You looked at Bucky concerned, “what for Buck Buck? You did nothing wrong.” “Yeah I did,” he claimed, “I left you alone back in the 40s.” You leaned in for a hug, “Buck, that’s not your fault, neither is anything that happened when you were the Soldier, alright?” Bucky nodded, “love you doll.” “Love you too.” You finished. “Doll, are we still, together? Can I still call you my best gal?” Your face fell to a content smile, “always Buck, I will always be yours, no matter how many centuries pass, or how far away we are. I’m yours and you’re mine.” Bucky leaned in for a kiss, the first kiss you’d shared in over 70 years. It was full of love, and desperation.
“One more thing doll,” Bucky added after you finished the kiss, “Hydra got rid of the tattoo, so will you go with me to get it redone?” “Of course, and I should probably get mine touched up, it’s been frozen for a long time and is looking faded.” You both smiled, remembering the memory,
“Come on doll! It’s your 18th birthday! You gotta do something fun! Something crazy! Like getting a tattoo! ” Bucky pleaded for like the 50th time. You and him weren’t dating yet, but the feelings were already there. “I’ll make you a deal Buck Buck,” he looked at you a little skeptically, “if you get a matching tattoo with me, I’ll do it.” Bucky quickly agreed. Against Steve’s protests, you and Bucky went and got them done, as the years went on, the tattoos became a symbol of the bond between the two of you.
“Finally got over the lame chick from the 40s and got yourself a lady friend Tin Man?” Tony joked, seeing you and Bucky cuddled up on the living room couch, watching a movie. “That ‘lame chick’ could kick your ass if you’re not careful,” you retorted, standing up to face Tony. “You’re that lady from my dad’s pictures, wait you’re Y/N!?!?” “In the flesh,” you responded. “How, What, Huh?” You didn’t feel like going into the long story so you simply said, “magic.” Tony gathered the whole team and you gave them all the real story, they all agreed to kick Fury’s ass if he tried to kick you out.
That night Bucky let you borrow some clothes and you both cuddled in his room till you both fell asleep. That was the first night Bucky slept without nightmares since before the war. In the morning you were talking to Bucky and Steve, “you know, I wrote you both letters in a notebook back in the 40s, Howard took the notebook they were in, so Tony might have it.” The guys wanted to go ask Tony, when were curious what you’d written. A quick trip down to the lab produced said notebook. You displayed it out on the coffee table and flipped to the first page; a letter written to Bucky. “In another life, I would be your girl. We'd keep all our promises, be us against the world. In another life, I would make you stay. So I don't have to say you were the one that got away.” As he read, Bucky was in tears, when he finished reading the letter, that included all of their big moments, like when you’d both talk about your future. But what really made him cry was when you added to that, ‘never planned that one day I’d be loosing you.’ He hugged you and wouldn’t let go, even as he and Steve read through the rest of them. There was one where you wrote down about the wedding you and Bucky always dreamed about, one you wrote to Steve about how Peggy was doing. One Peggy wrote to put in there, that one made Steve cry. The three of you were just a crying mess in the living room.
The first time the team heard you call Bucky ‘Buck Buck,’ it was a trip. Some people, like Wanda and Bruce, let it go, it was normal, others like Sam, Tony and Clint started laughing and said he’d never live it down. You then went up to those laughing, and threatened them. You wouldn’t hurt a fly, until someone hurt or made fun of Steve or especially, Bucky, then, you let loose, they were done for.
It took a while for you to get used to having Bucky and Steve back, but it was the best thing ever. You finally had the love of your life and your best friend back, nothing could be better. And when Fury did come, he got his ass best by almost all the Avengers, he left you alone from then on.

HOLIDAYS - LEON S. KENNEDY X FEM!READER (PART 2)
Summary: Leon meets Y/N again and let's say she isn't done playing with him. You don't mind company in your hot tub, do you Leon?
Author’s note: Sorry about the long wait. I know it's been a while since I haven't updated this fanfic or posted a RE fan fiction. I was busy with work and writing for other fandoms. Hope you'll forgive me and that you'll like this chapter.

PART 2: The Game
Men are foolish to believe they have no weakness. All men have weaknesses. And even if Leon wanted desperately alcohol to be his only one, he had to admit there was another. One more pleasant and yet sometimes as hurtful and as destructive. Women. Sultry strong women. Those who steal your heart, toy with it like a cat plays with a mouse, crush it with their sharp stilettos to finally throw it back at you without an ounce of remorse or sympathy. How many times he had fallen for those women! How many times he had hurt himself! … And asked for more.
There was possibly something rather addictive, something even rather masochist in doing so. And the fact that he was aware of it showed how stupid he truly could be.
It was a lovely night, slightly cold but starry. The fresh marine wind was blowing softly in the trees and the bursting bubbles of the hot tub massaging his tensed muscles were filling Leon’s ears with a peaceful melody he would gladly listen to for hours. Eyes closed, he could almost imagine what it truly meant to be on holidays, what it truly meant to relax, to forget. Almost. The truth was he could not escape Raccoon City … as he could not escape Spain, or Tall Oaks or any other place he had been, any other place he had survived, any other place he had lost. They always knew how to creep into his brain, always knew how to tie his stomach in a knot, how to make his heart heavy, sometimes –often- in moments when he was the most eager for peace of mind. They were doing it right now. They had been doing it for quite some time now. Since the bombing in DC or maybe before.
“You almost make brooding look hot, you know?” Leon immediately jumped and turned around, startled by the cheerful voice pulling him out of his dark ominous thoughts. A reflex he had acquired and sharpened over the years fighting deadly BOWs. But when his blue eyes lay on Y/N (or Y/SN; He didn’t really know how he should call her), he relaxed and allowed his tightened lips to slightly curl into a weak but sincere smile. “Years of practice.” “Then that explained the wrinkles on your forehead.” She approached him soundlessly, leaving the shadows in which she had been watching him, and squinted at his face, possibly trying to detail all the little aging signs carving his skin. “Is that why you’re wearing a fringe?” “It’s not a fringe!” He replied rather offended and yet perfectly aware that she was merely teasing him the same way she had teased him in that bar a couple nights ago. But his hair was sacred! And he hated when someone was making fun of it. Too bad his little attempt at sounding aggressive only made Y/N laugh and want to mock him a little bit more. Just for fun. “Well, it looks like a fringe… An emo fringe.” Leon frowned and without realising it brushed his hair aside with an annoyed pout the woman found just adorable. “Wow. You’ve got two eyes. Who would have thought?” “Are you done?” She chuckled, eyes shining with mischief as she sat on the edge of the hot tub, legs crossed so as to deliberately show her bare smooth thighs no longer hidden under the white hotel robe she was wearing. Leon couldn’t help but gaze for a second or two, suddenly wondering how that beautiful skin would feel against his calloused fingers, around his waist. Probably amazing. Electrifying. Damn she was good! He thought. Pulling him out of his traumatising memories to throw him deep into a well of lust. Not many women could do that. And it was annoying as much as it was endearing. “Would you like me to keep you company in there?” She offered in a voice that could not disguise the lewd seconds thoughts she had in her mind. But then again, disguising them wasn’t what she wanted. And they were both adult and experienced enough to know that a woman offering to join you in a tub wasn’t doing it to have a chat about the weather. And that was fine. Leon could use some distraction right now. “Depends. Will you keep taunting me?” He questioned trying to resist her a little bit longer even though, for some weird reasons, watching her fingertips touch the bubbling hot water and softly caress the surface was making him suddenly aching. It was as if he wanted his skin to be the water, as if all the things she was doing –even the one that should be innocent- were purely sensual … sexual even. Whether it was always fully voluntary of not, Leon wasn’t sure. But damn, she was surely making her way under his skin. “Well you have to admit my little taunt got your mind of whatever you were thinking about.” She smiled and brought her fingers to wet her neck as she discreetly and proudly peeped at Leon who was observing the droplets running down her skin with dilated pupils. “You’re cleverer than what you let on.” He admitted. “Sometimes I wonder if you’re playing with me or if you’re just flirting.” “Why not both?” Her fingers fell to the collar of her robe to slowly brush the soft fabric off her shoulders, revealing more burning naked skin that made Leon briefly fidget under the water. Was he that touch-starved? “Why not something else?” Could she hear his erratic heartbeat in his chest? His brain screaming at him just to grab her and pull her in his laps? See all his attempts at keeping his cool slowly crumbling to let the obscene fire growing in his loins take over? Her mocking smile made Leon think she probably could. “And what would that something else be?” He asked, curious.
He watched her take a step back. And unconsciously, he leant closer. Like a magnet. Not willing to be left alone or to let her go. And miraculously, unlike many women before her, she didn’t leave. She simply stood where she was and brought her hands to the belt around her waist. “What do you what it to be?” And Leon stared; hypnotized again by her enticing moves he wished were quicker. “Or better question. What do you want me to be?” She unknotted the belt and let her fingers crawl back to the collar of the robe to open it slowly. The mere sight of her décolletage made Leon gulp and suddenly all his tries to keep his eyes on her beautiful face became vain as they always found their way back between her breasts. “A college student with daddy issues …” She opened the robe wider, showing more of her skin “…who’s eager to spread her legs for a married man who lost wife, kids and beagle to his best friend? Or…” more of her breasts, her rosy nipples, her belly, offering a glimpse of her young body “A very naked young woman seducing an old –clearly naked as well- emo boy in a hot tub?” The robe wasn’t covering anything that should have been covered anymore. Leon could see everything, everything enough for his cock to harden under the water and for him to thank for the bubbles hiding his arousal. “Is that what you really are?” She entered the hot tub, towering him like a naked Venus calling to be touched. And god knows how hard it was for Leon not to touch her or to stop thinking about pressing his face against her womanhood. “That looks like what I am right now. Don’t you think?” She let herself slowly sink in the water, not taking her eyes out of him. “And that looks like something you like.” She purred and when Leon thought that she would sit on him, straddle his legs and finally feel his aching member against her… “Only a fool would not like it.” “And you’re not a fool … Leon.” … He froze.
Leon’s eyes widened. Did he hear that right? “What did you just call me?” His tone, though tinted with surprise, had recovered its seriousness and gravitas. But it didn’t seem to unsettle the young woman before him who was still keeping her aura of sensual cheekiness. “Isn’t that your name?” Leon frowned, wondering how she knew and what the hell her intentions were. “You know it’s hard to pretend to be someone else when your name and photo was shown on national TV barely a week ago. Leon S. Kennedy the national hero who saved America from bioterrorism yet again.” “ So you knew all along?” “ I call it naked truth.” She smiled proudly and he couldn’t help but laugh a little at the pun. “What? You said it yourself, I’m cleverer than what I let on.” “ So this little game … What was it for?” “ We can continue if that’s what you want.” She came closer to him, (colour) eyes staring deep in Leon’s own. “ Cause we haven’t stopped playing?” “ Well, I’m still playing.” She put a hand on his sculpted pectorals.
The contact, warm and delicate, made Leon slightly shiver and he looked at her palm slowly going down his firm chest, caressing his skin down to his carved abs, following the line of hairs below his navel until it finally reached his still hard sex “And with what I’m feeling right there. It looks like you can still play with a little help.” He winced as he felt her delicately grab his shaft. “ You’re impossible.” He managed to say between gritted teeth. “ I know. You told me last time... You want me to stop?” She murmured in his ear, her hot breath tickling him in a pleasant way. “I didn’t say that.” His eyes found her face again but only for a short while. Soon they focused on her lips, now so close to his. “Good.”
For an instant he thought she would kiss him to eventually put an end to that game of theirs. That would have been the perfect occasion for them to finally let go to their most primal impulses. But she did not. Instead, she remained the way she was, her face a couple inches away from his, her parted lips so close to touch his and her eyes locked with his. Perfectly in control and taking an excruciating delight in watching Leon lose his composure as her hand was slowly toying with his manhood under the bubbling water. “I think you needed that.” “ You have no idea.” A guttural moan escaped the barrier of his lips and his stomach tensed. Leon could feel his member throbbing in the girl’s grip. He was close already and not even slightly ashamed about it. That was what she wanted, wasn’t it? For him to crumble under her touch. And maybe that was what he wanted too now that he was thinking about it. He closed in blue eyes to focus only on her, on her touch, on her hand, moving up and down in cock, again and again, on her fingers, sometimes caressing the tip, sometimes tracing the prominent veins of his shaft, slowly, oh so slowly. A pleasuring torture he almost wished would be never-ending. “ You know, if you want me to fuck you, you should stop with that amazing hand of yours and quickly climb on top of me.” She chuckled at the sudden dirty talk and surge of confidence, happy to finally see him that way. But as his hands grabbed her hips to bring her in his laps she purred “As much as I would love this, we still have more games to play, Agent Kennedy."
Leon's eyes opened in a flash. Flabbergasted, he felt an atrocious void and a terrible discomfort when, completely powerless, he watched the girl stand up and leave him with nothing less but a smile and a wink. But as much as he wanted to be vexed or resentful, he couldn't help but laugh, thankful that somehow she had managed to take his nightmares away for the night. Sure he had blue balls but those were the best blue balls of his life. " We sure do, Y/N"

Meant To Be - Loki x Fem! Reader
Summary: Much to your displeasure, your parents have promised you away to the God of Mischief of all people.
Tags: Arranged Marriage AU, Light Elf! Reader
Warnings: Aside from Loki hating himself, nothing.
Words: 2878
I Masterlist I
A/N: Some good old-fashioned, ‘redeemed after The Avengers and the other movies didn’t happen’ Loki. Like, really cheesy, self-indulgent 2012 stuff. I just want to ignore all misery that happens in the series okay?
“Ew! Stop it!”
You were eight at the time when you and Loki first met, by means of negotiation between both your parents.
If only you knew that this encounter should be the first impression of what should be your husband in the near future...
Frigga and Odin could only plead for their son to be on his best behavior - but well, it’s the God of Mischief we’re talking about. Must be hard to inherit such a title from your very birth.
Just when you put the little bonquet of flowers he had picked up for you towards your face to admire it, several little spiders emerged from the blossoms.
“You’re no fun.” The raven-haired boy stood a safe distance away from you, arms crossed as his gleeful laughter turned into a broad sulk. "And your ears are weird.”
“I hate you!” you screeched in your childish rage, throwing the flowers to the ground and trampling onto them. “Where’s your brother? Thor is way nicer than you!”
“Well, why don’t you marry him then?!” he mocked to cover up his hurt pride, picking up a handful of dirt and throwing it in your direction.
“I don’t need any friends anyway...” the little boy whispered to himself, running away from the scene with tears filling the corner of his eyes.
“I don’t need anyone. I’m way better than all of them!”
Not even Frigga was fast enough to catch up with him, while Odin uttered some fake apologies to your parents, promising them that everything will go as planned.
You on the other hand were running towards your mother, tightly grabbing onto her dress. “He’s mean! I wanna go home!”
As Queen of the Light Elves, your mother was a being full of grace and composure - and you were hoping to one day become such a formidable person as well.
She bowed down to your height, petting your hair as you rubbed the mixture of tears and dirt from your cheeks. Just her bright smile alone would sometimes be enough to make you forget about your worries - but not today.
“My sweet child” she cooed, cradling you in her arms. “One day you’ll understand.”
However, this would be the last time you paid Asgard a visit - at least until now. Because no matter how deeply you wished to never meet him again, the words your mother spoke on that day haunted you all those years:
“For this is your duty as a princess.”
[Present Day - Asgard]
It felt so unreal when you stuck your head outside of the wooden carriage, the wind playing with your hair as your glare wandered over the rainbow bridge you were crossing.
Silence strained the air, your parents unable to do even so much as look into your eyes. Hel, how you wished this was only a dream.
Behind you was a whole company of Light Elves, transporting all of your belongings to what should be your homecountry from now on.
Now there was no way back, that much was sure.
You were supposed to meet your soon-to-be husband on that very same day, one day before your wedding to be precize.
One could only guess why you weren’t allowed to visit Asgard again for all those years, even though you were practically born just for this reason - for this person.
To become Loki’s bride was your involuntary purpose, and you couldn’t help but wonder what it would be like to be truly free.
Maybe your parents thought the God of Mischief to have a bad influence on their growing daughter, pulling you into his harmless yet dishonorable schemes. Or they simply feared you to refuse marrying said man if you got to know him better, finding out just what kind of person you were promised to.
Not that your parents were pleased either...everyone in the Nine Realms knew the stories.
To Odin, there was no point in hiding the disgrace his adoptive son had brought over Asgard. Not only was he responsible for an attack on Midgard, sacrificing thousands of lives for his own sake, drunken by greed for power.
But all of you were shocked to hear that Loki Odinson - or rather Laufeyson - was never Asgardian to begin with.
A Frost Giant.
Among your kind, they were known to be one of the most terrible abominations in the nine realms, and murderer of countless of your kind - and this should be the father to your future children?
Only thinking about this cruel twist of fate made you want to vomit...
So why did you agree to proceed with the preparations as if nothing had happened? How in Alfheim’s name could you reject their offer to wed you to Thor instead of that lunatic?
Was it that through your upbringing and royal duties, you had lost your own free will? Or simply fear of stepping aside the path that everyone had prepared for you?
It was probably the fact that you didn’t want to get into true love’s way...you and Thor stayed in brief contact through Heimdall, and you just knew how much that human girl meant to him.
You were kinda jealous, though...the concept of being in love was foreign to you, having a vague idea of it from novels only. But real life just wasn’t meant to be that was, was it?
You couldn’t escape your fate, that was what it was - for this treaty would unite both kingdoms, bringing peace and wealth for all of their inhabitants.
No way you could be so selfish as to decline...even if it meant you had to suffer for the rest of your life.
“My Ladyship, we have arrived!” a guard spoke as he knocked on the carriage door, with your parents hinting that you needed to step out first.
The very same guard now yelled from the pit of his lungs, making you feel the whole Kingdom of Asgard could hear. “Now arriving: Lady Y/N Y/L/N, eldest Princess of Alfheim and heir to the throne.”
You heared the people whispering as you took your first, insecure steps, blinded by the bright daylight.
“She’s so pale, like ice” or “Why are her ears like that?” were rather nice comments compared to others plainly calling you ugly, scary or a ‘disgrace’.
Of course your Kingdoms had been in a war for several decades, but this was long in the past - before your very birth, even. So what’s the reason you should bear with such hostility in the place everyone expected you to call ‘home’ from now on?
One thing was clear from the very beginning: You would never belong here.
“May I?” a dark, husky voice interrupted your self-pitying. You blinked heavily, still trying to adjust to all those golden surroundings, until your blurry vision finally cleared up.
“C’mon.” The voice belonged to the man in front of you, looking gravely nervous with sweat dripping from his forehead. He was reaching out a hand for you to take, and you gladly accepted since you didn’t want to embarass yourself further by falling out of the carriage.
And still, you managed to somehow miss a step and fall right into his arms. “Oh my, so clumsy” the man snickered as he catched you, clearing his throat as you grabbed onto his chest to regain balance. "Not very graceful for someone of your status.”
“And you are-” The words got stuck in your throat when you stared back into those eyes, their emerald green awaking memories you’d rather forgotten entirely. “L-Loki!”
“Exactly, my dear. The one and only.” Smooth and calm, he pecked a kiss on the back of your hand, andyou couldn’t help but admire just how well he had aged: His wild locks were combed back, sharp features complimenting his face as he tried his best to give you his most innocent smile.
Yet you kept your guard up, always expecting him to somehow embarass you just for the fun of it. “When it comes to him, always expect the unexpected” Thor once warned you, and you won’t forget about it that easily.
“It’s a pleasure finally meeting you” was your firm declaration, only to be rewarded with a scoff. “You are speaking to the God of Lies, Lady Y/N - there is no use in trying to deceive me” he whispered into your ear, making you shiver in unpleasant anticipation.
“Carry her belongings to my rooms” he dismissed the servants with a simple gesture of his hand, offering his other arm for you to cling on as he escorted you through the palace.
The giant halls were almost empty, nothing like back on Alfheim where you and your brethren would enjoy each other’s company in midst of nature. A sole tear escaped your eye when you thought back to those carefree days, which are now over.
“Are you alright, m’lady?” Much to your surprise, your fiancé sounded honestly concerned about your well-being. “If you are tired, we can postpone our tour of the palace until you’ve rested.”
“May I speak from the heart?” You gulped after finishing that sentence, scaring yourself with all the stories you’ve heared about this mad troublemaker.
Somehow you had the feeling that if you were to overstep your boundaries with that brute, it would have consequences beyond your imagination. He might seem generous and polite right this moment, but what would someone like him do if you enrage him? Countless images were circling in your head, one worse than the other.
Loki furrowed his brows, exhalinge deeply. For him, your expression was an open book to what you were thinking right now.
“Y/N, my dear Lady, if you want it or not: Starting tomorrow, we share a bond. I am deeply sorry that a veritable flower as you are had to end up with someone like me, but I promise to treat you as well as possible.”
Turning around so you’d not detect how it hurt him to speak from the heart, he added with a shaky voice “Yet there is no reason for you to hold back your hatred for me. No harm will come your way, I swear upon the little honor I have left.”
Even though his words made you feel a deep sympathy with the god, you weren’t quite sure if you could decipher truth or deceit in them. Maybe he just wanted to lure you into saying what you truly thought of him?
He’s right - you will have to spend the rest of your life with him, so don’t mess this up from the very start!
“I-I don’t hate you!” was the first thing you blurted out, grabbing onto his cloak. Loki turned around, rising his eyebrow as he scanned your face for any hint of a lie.
Althrough it was the truth, at least to a certain extend. You’ve seen each other only once, when you were still little. The rest is all tales and rumours, but you personally don’t have a reason to despise him.
There was no way you could promise to accept his past or heritage, let alone forgive him - yet as long as he’d treat you with respect, you’d return the favour.
“T-There’s just a question on my mind this whole time...aren’t you mad? I-I mean someone like- well...like you...” you gestured around awkardly, almost making him crack a smile. “I mean...I thought you wouldn’t let your parents dictate your life.”
Another deep sigh escaping his mouth, this times with his eyes closed. “This isn’t about Asgard or my adoptive parents. I choose my own path.”
Suddenly, Loki wrapped one arm around you, flicking his fingers with the free one.
“Hold onto me” he ordered indifferent as he casted his spell, teleporting both of you away before you could even comprehend, let alone ask him what he was doing.
It happened in the fraction of a second, yet felt like hovering through an empty space for an eternity.
“Now open your eyes.” You hadn’t even realized that you squeezed them shut during the shift, slowly opening them while Loki lifted your chin with his index finger.
The environment was magnificent. Had you ever seen something this beautiful in your whole life?
Obviously you had no clue where you were, but this was the first time seeing so much untouched nature on Asgard. There were flowers blooming in all colours imagineable, clear rivers crossing the lands in between grassy hills, and animals nearby a small forrest.
“It’s not like I didn’t educate myself about the Light Elves and their way of living” Loki stammered, unconsciously intertwining your fingers with yours as he watched you admiring the view. “So I could make you comfortable here, I mean.”
He plummeted down on the grass, still a little wet from the morning dew, and gestured for you to do the same. It was weird, actually, but also somehow adorable - how the infamous ‘Silver Tongue’ had lost his ability with words. “I’ve done very little right in my life full of wrongs. Hurt a lot of people.”
“Mmmhh” you hummed approvingly, not knowing what else to say - yet for some reason, you didn’t let go off of his hand, squeezing it ever so slightly.
“And even though I can’t possibly redeem myself, I wish to change for the better.” he muttered, rubbing the back of his head. “I just never knew how to start.”
Loki Odinson really was full of surprises. He was nothing like the child you’ve met long ago, and the complete opposite of what you imagined the ‘God of Mischief’ to be.
You had expected a power-hungry, selfish and cruel man to wed you - and yet there he was: Insecure and broken, only a shell of the person he once was.
Just what had you missed all those years? What things happened to break someone’s will like this?
And was he truly beyond repair?
“Those past weeks, I have visited Alfheim more times than you could comprehend” he giggled nervously, avoiding your eyes. “Concealed, of course.”
Well, that sounded kind of weird, but you knew better than to talk someone down who was just opening up to you. So your sole answer was “What for?”
“There was no way a criminal like me would still be seemed fit for this ceremony - and yet I was given this chance anyway. My mother told me that it was you who insisted on carrying on the arrangement, so...I just wanted to know what person would be willingly ruin their life.”
Something different was shining through the god’s orbs, and you couldn’t quite decipher it. Was it hope? Hope, that if you had given him a chance, his life could lead into a different direction? To change himself from the burden that was his birth title?
“I-I guess I don’t want to mess this up like I always do” he whimpered barely audible, before staring at you in shock and embarassment. Until now, he hadn’t realized just how vulnerable he made himself.
Just what the hell would you think about him now? You probably had lost any respect, or thought himself to be crazy. How weak...
So he was quick to put on the confident facade again, wearing his smug grin as if that all was just part of a big joke only he’d understand. But even though you barely knew him, he couldn’t fool you.
“Sometimes it’s enough just to try.” Your head turned from the sight of nature to your fiancé and back several times, before you brought up the courage and put a hand on his shoulder, whispering “So you can’t really mess this up.”
“Gladly you don’t seem to know yet just how much misery I cause.” He kept that thought to himself, to not scare you away.
“I am aware that you could never love someone like me, Y/N. But I can provide for you, dedicate myself to making you content with being my wife. My newfound purpose.”
The purpose of a war criminal - that sure put yourself under a lot of pressure. And still, it made you somewhat proud, and grateful as well. Because it was the first time someone valued you as a person, and not the princess of Alfheim.
Unaware of how much time had passed, both of you would get used to each other’s presence in silence, enjoying the nature while you processed this eventful day.
Exhausted from the long travel and all that rollercoaster of emotion, you soon found yourself dazzling into sleep onto Loki’s shoulder. If only you could see him adore you, staring in awe that someone could actually feel so safe in his presence.
Carefully, the god picked you up, gently lifting you on his arms to make your way back to the palace, where everyone was frantically searching for both of you. Well, Loki was used to trouble - but right now, it was worth it.
May it be right or wrong, and even though you couldn’t explain this sentiment, you had a good feeling when it came to the things that were just about to come.
“You won’t regret your decision, Y/N Y/L/N. On my side, I assure you a bright future.”

Love and Monsters
Steve Harrington x Reader!Henderson
Oneshot
Y/N Henderson's life was not like any other normal teenager's life, on a very young age her only friends was her brother, Dustin and his friends.. She was not popular in highschool, but she was not a nobody neither.. Y/N was just invisible, lost in the sea of students.. She was almost through highschool though, one day her life was turned upside down, literally and figuratively.. It's been months since the 'thing' happend, but she was still shaken up.
Y/N was laying in bed, My Generation blasting from her stereo.. She was home alone, her mother was out with some friends, her brother was hanging out with 'King Steve'.. Ever since Steve helped them about Dart, she grew closer to Steve but their short lived friendship ended when Dustin left for camp and Steve worked on their family business while she was stuck preparing herself for college.. Y/N misses Steve, his unfunny jokes and oh god--his laugh..
A loud knock startled her, she shot up from her bed, memories of what happend was flashing back to her.. Despite what she tells her friend, she was not okay.. She almost died twice and that opened up trauma's and issues within herself..
Another loud knock startled her, Y/N shakes her head and just ran to the door.. Reaching their front door, her icy hands made contact with the cold steel knob..
It revealed a disheveled Dustin and Steve, she could tell that there were excitement dripping all over them.. Steve was still wearing his sailor work uniform, he looked cute to Y/N but she once threw that thought in the back of her mind..
"What's up?" She questioned the two.
Dustin just smiled and pushed pass her, while Steve was reluctant to go in.. Steve avoided Y/N for almost the whole summer because of the daunting realization that he was catching feelings for her and that scared him.. Y/N was the kind of girl that likes to watch nerdy movies, spend hours playing games with a bunch of kids and save the world two times.. However, Steve was scared, he was still stuck in the unjustified rules of highschool and popularity. . He still wanted to be 'King Steve', but he also wanted to be Y/N's..
"Nice outfit, sailor boy.." Y/N winked and laughs at Steve, he just shakes his head and went inside their house..
Steve made his way to Dustin's room with Y/N right behind him, but before reaching Dustin's room, he passed Y/N's room.. He unconsciously stopped as he looks around, observing every corner of her room.
There were posters plastered all over her walls, books were all around her room in her bed, shelves and even floors.. In the other side she had a small collection of music that made Steve smile.. Because they had the exact same taste, she is the perfect girl.
"If you want to go in, you're free to wander around my room, anytime.."
Steve turned around to face Y/N, he misses her.. How Y/N sarcastic remarks leave her sweet lips or how she rolls her eyes whenever she see something stupid.
"I might just take you up on that.."
"Hm-mm.. You didn't even talk to me when Dustin left, you broke my heart, Steviee.." She jokes, but it sounded a little bitter.
Y/N did get hurt, Steve stopped talking to her when Dustin left, it seems like Steve didn't really like her as much as she thinks he did. Y/N was bored and got stuck just studying and sometimes hanging out with the party.. It was fun but she was looking forward to hanging out with Steve.
"I'm sorry about that, I didn't want to see my old friends hanging out with someone like yo---" Steve stopped his sentence, he didn't mean that.. His mind was a mess, he said those things because he didn't want Y/N finding out his stupid feelings
"Right..Yeah, I get it.."
"Y/N that's not what I me--"
"Cause King Steve shouldn't be hanging out with people like me?Gotcha.."
Steve didn't even had the time to reply, he was met with Y/N's slamming door.. He didn't mean that.. Steve loved hanging out with Y/N, he want to give her something special.. Steve wanted something more from Y/N.. He knew exactly what and he didn't need a reason why but Steve wanted to give Y/N something more..
Y/N was hurt, she didn't know why but Steve words brought devastation to her.. She felt disappointed and upset, Y/N was expecting something special.. She didn't know what or why but she was expecting something more from Steve.
Y/N was dropping off Dustin to the mall where Steve was working, her lips were in a unsual frown.. Y/N wasn't usally like this, she was having a bad week, Steve just hurt her feelings and she was taking it much harder, it was very unsual.. The two Henderson was making their way to the Scoops Ahoy shop, Dustin was rambling about a message he picked up while contacting his girlfriend.
"Are you listening?" Her brother asked as they reach the store.
"Yepp, you should go in now.."
"Y/N, this could be a good thing!"
"I know..If you need my help, you can find me in the food court.."
"Y/N.."
"Yeah, Dus?"
"Are you okay?"
Y/N's mind went blank, she hated lying to her brother but she didn't want to worry anyone. She laughs and messed Dustin's hair.
"Of course.. Now go, you know where to find me.." With that she left..
Y/N was not okay, the last time she slept was a month ago.. Nightmares kept crawling back to her, she was growing more paranoid by the day.. She was not okay, but she couldn't tell anyone that.. Everyone else is okay, even Wil who had it more rough than her. And to top that up, she was broken hearted by Steve's rejection of their friendship.. Y/N just massaged the bridge of her nose, when will she be fine?
Dustin and Steve was in the corner of the mall with binoculars in their eyes, Steve saw Y/N.. Sitting alone in the corner, a walkman in her ears and a book in hand.. Y/N was mouthing the word as her eyes read every word on that book and Steve couldn't help but feel all giddy and guilty inside.
"You see anything?" Dustin snapped Steve back to their current task.
"Uh, I guess I don't totally know what I'm looking for.'' Steve answered honestly, Y/N distracted him again.
"Evil Russians."
"Yeah, exactly. I don't know what an evil Russian looks like."
"All blond, not smiling."
"Mm-hmm?" Steve's eyes didn't looked for any Russians, his eyes drifted to Y/N spot but she was gone.. Where did she go? He couldn't help but worry, was she talking to someone else?
"Also, look for earpieces, camo, duffel bags, that sort of thing." Dustin added.
"Right, okay, duffel bags." Steve darts his eyes away from Y/N seat but it only fell on a girl he asked out earlier.
"Oh, you've gotta be kidding me." Steve mutters.
"What?" Dustin questioned.
"Anna Jacobi's talking with that meathead Mark Lewinsky."
"If you're not gonna focus, just gimme the binoculars."
Dustin got annoyed by his distracted partner, he should have brought his sister along.. But he knew that Y/N was not okay, she seemed distant and lost in her own mind.. Always spacing out and Dustin can hear her cries from his room, it killed him to see her loving and hyper sister transform into a walking corpse.
"Aw, Jesus Christ, whatever happened to standards?"
"I mean, Lewinsky never even came off the bench." Steve rambled on, annoying Dustin.
"Dude, you are the worst spy in history, you know that?"
The two fought for the binoculars, but they just looked stupid.. Dustin initially gave up and gave the binoculars to Steve.
"I don't get why you're looking at girls. You have the perfect one in front of you."
"Seriously, if you say Robin again..." Steve closes his eyes waiting for Robin's name to come up but it never did.
"No, Y/N.. My sister.."
Steve's heart clenched at the mention of her name, he wants Y/N too.. What can he do? Y/N hates his ass now, he was a jerk and he didn't deserve Y/N.
"No, man, she's not my type." Steve answered while he diverts his eyes away from Dustin.
"I saw you staring at her closed door for about 5 minutes."
Steve eyes grew wide at the realization that Dustin was watching the whole time.. Dustin just shakes his head, if he was asked he'd say that her sister felt the same way..
"She's not even... in the ballpark of what my type is, all right?"
"What's your type again? Not awesome?"
"Thank you."
"Hm."
"For you information, your sister is too sarcastic, she's too nerdy for me.."
"Also, she's too...boyish.."
Beautiful, that's what he wanted to say..
"Dude, that's my sister you're talking about, and besides she's not like that.. She's nerdy but so what? Y/N's also not boyish, she's just secured with her masculinity.."
Dustin's word echoed throughout Steve's system, he already knew that.. But somehow hearing it from another person's perspective made him like you more.
"Y/N's just not my type.." He lied..
Y/N was everything he ever wanted in a girl.
"Thanks for the clarification, Harrington." A voice surprised the two.
Y/N was standing behind them, her arms crossed.. Steve's eyes widen in surprise, did she hear everything? He didn't mean that, what did he mean?
"I didn't mean t--"
"Dustin, if you told me you'll stalk people in malls, I should've brought you to a psychiatrist.." Y/N ignored Steve and just focused on her brother.. Y/N would be lying if she haven't felt more hurt by the words Steve dropped.. She had been listening since the talk about girls came up, Y/N spotted the two doing eccentric things and she decided to eavesdrop.
"No, it's called spying.." Dustin rolled his eyes at her sister remarks while Steve was still frozen..
"What's the difference?" Y/N asked, her eyes still focused on he brother..
"It's just different, okay? Were looking for the--" Dustin stopped and looks around to see if anybody was near..
"Russians?" Y/N continued in a loud tone.
"Shh!" Both Steve and her brother shushed her. Y/N was surpised, she glares at the two and moved closer to them.
"Fine, can I tag along? I'm bored and it'll be nice to be a national hero."
The two looked at each other, Steve was nervous.. Y/N obviously didn't want him around, but this could be a chance for him to apologize to Y/N.
"Sure, you can help us look for russians with dufflebags and camo." Dustin pulled her sister to his side.
"That's kinda racis--"
"No, it's not!" Dustin cuts her sister off making Y/N laugh..
"Whatever you say Dus.."
And that's how she ended up inside a theater with two kids and two drugged teenagere.. Y/N's breathing was heavy, they were captured by Russians just moments ago.. Adrenaline was pumping through her veins, she thought this town was finally normal again, but turns out she was wrong.. Very very wrong..
They needed to get out of this hellish mall, Y/N need to find out if there's still russians lurking out, looking for them.
"The two of you need to stay here and take care of them." Y/N instructs to her brother, she pointed at a floopy Steve and Robin.
"Wait--Where are you going?!" Dustin stopped her by pulling her arm.
"I'm going to see if those fuckers are still looking for us.."
"No, we'll come with you.."
"Dustin, you need to stay here and keep a low profile.."
"Y/N don't be a hero.."
"Hey, Dipshit!I'm not trying to be a hero, what I'm doing is protecting you guys because our two friends are drugged and beaten while we brought a little kid into our mess! And I will do everything to keep you all safe, even if that means I get hurt or killed!"
Dustin knew that there's no talking Y/N out of this, her sister was right.. Taking a deep breath, he just nods and hugs her sister..
"Just please, stay safe.." Dustin was in the verge of tears but Y/N held him tight in her arms.. Dustin pulled back, Y/N gave her brother a comforting smile, she rubbed his cheeks and pat his head.
"I'll be okay, I'm a Henderson for god's sake.."
Dustin laughs as tears stroll in his face, she kissed his forehead and walked away, trying not to attract attention.. Taking a deep breath she left the theater, she'll do whatever it takes to keep her brother and her friends.. Y/N's mind flew to Steve, she was pissed off but she was not sure anymore.. The way he saved them and got beat up for them, she couldn't find a reason to be mad at him, all she can think about is his childlish look and how hot he is in his sailor uniform. Y/N just shakes those thoughts away and tried to focus on her task..
Russians..
Steve and Robin were throwing up in a seperate cubicles, they were getting the drugs out of their system.. Retching and puking can be heard all through out the theater bathroom, Steve groans and flushes the toilet.
"The ceiling stopped spinning for me. Is it still spinning for you?" Robin's voice can be heard from the other cubicle.
"Holy shit. No. You think we puked it all up?" Steve rested his back to the mini wall inside the cubicle..
"Maybe. Ask me something.."
"Interrogate me." Robin said in a mocking russian accent.
"Okay. Interrogate you. Sure. Um... When was the last time you, uh, peed your pants?"
"Today."
"What?"
"When the Russian doctor took out the bone saw."
"Oh... All right, my turn."
"Okay. Hit me."
"Have you... ever been in love?"
"Yep. Nancy Wheeler. First semester, senior year." Steve imitates a gunshot.
"Are you still in love with Nancy?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"I found someone else, she's a little bit better for me.It's crazy. Ever since Dustin got home, he's been saying, 'You know, you gotta find your Suzie. You gotta find your Suzie.' "
"Wait, who's Suzie?"
"It's some girl from camp, I guess his girlfriend. To be honest with you, I'm not 100% sure she's even real."
" But that's not- that's not really the point. That doesn't matter. The point is, this girl, you know, the one that I like, it's somebody that I... didn't even talk to in school. And I don't even know why."
"Maybe 'cause Tommy H. would've made fun of me or... I wouldn't be... prom king. It's stupid. I mean, Dustin's right, it's all just a bunch of bullshit anyways. Because, when I think about it, I should've been hanging out with this girl the whole time."
"First of all, she hates me now because of a stupid thing I said but when we hanged out, we were bonding and shit.. She was perfect for me, she's nerdy, hangs out with kids too much.. She likes the same things I like, her brother is my bestfriend.. Sometimes I wonder if she's real, because she's too perfect."
"Wait--You like Y/N?"
"Yeah, ever since last year.. I like her so damn much, I can't even believe that I said to her that I shouldn't be hanging out with someone like her."
"YOU SAID THAT?" Robin's voice boomed out all over the bathroom, Steve just sighs and slids out of the cubicle..
"Unfortunately, yes.."
Steve slid in to Robins cubicle, she was glaring at him.
"If you ask me, Y/N doesn't deserve someone like me.. She--She's too nice to be caught up in my miserable life.. And besides she would never like me.."
"I think you're still high.."
"No, I'm not.."
"Do you remember what I said about Click's class? About me being jealous and, like, obsessed?"
"Yeah?"
"It isn't because I had a crush on you. It's because... she wouldn't stop staring at you.."
"Mrs. Click?" Robin chuckles and just shakes her head.
"Y/N Henderson, I wanted her to look at me. But... she couldn't pull her eyes away from you and your stupid hair. And I didn't understand, because you would get bagel crumbs all over the floor. And you asked dumb questions. And you were a douchebag. And- And you didn't even like her then and... I would go home... and just scream into my pillow."
"But Y/N's a girl.."
"Steve.."
"Oh.."
"Yeah, now listen..Don't give me the 'she doesn't deserve me' and 'she doesn't like me back' crap.. Y/N was inlove with you since highschool, now you will tell her all about your mushy mushy feelings and you'll two will get married, have kids and you'll have me to thank for. "
"But what about you?"
"Please, I moved on.."
"Really?"
"Hell yeah, with my pretty face?I could find someone in a jiffy!"
The two were laughing when Dustin and Ericka burst into the bathroom.. Annoyance and frustration written all over their face..
"Okay. What the hell?!" Dustin asked very annoyed.
"Dude, we're normal again.."
"That's not the problem now, we need to find Y/N and go with the rest of the party."
"Y/N's not with you?"
"Do you see her?" Erica asked with the normal sass in her voice. Robin rolls her eyes at Erica who just glares at her.
"Where did she go?" Steve ignored Erica's sarcastic question
"She said she'll check the perimeter, but she hasn't come back since." Dustin answered, she was worried for her sister.. In their situation, who wouldn't?
"Shit." Steve and Robin both utter at the same time.
Y/N was changed into a much more inauspicious clothes, it was just some pants and a shirt tucked into it.. She fixed her disheveled hair and wiped her sweat.. She needed to blend in, her eyes wander around the mall.. There were Russians walking around, bviously looking for someone and that someone was them.. All the exits are heavily guarded by guards, there's no way out..
Taking a deep breath she walked back to the theater, praying that her brother and friends was safely still there but before she could even reached the theater, a russian man spotted her..
"I got eyes on one of the target!" The russian said into his earpiece, making Y/N run to the higher level of the mall, her heart racing and she was starting to feel tired.
Y/N just ran until she lost the russian, her breathing was getting shorter by the second.. Y/N's leg was starting to hurt but she ignored it and looked down to see if she can spot her brother..
And there they are, getting chased by guards.. Worries pumped into her brain as they run.. She needed to help them, if not they could get killed.
"Hey stupid spies!I'm right up here, morons!" Y/N screamed at the top of her lungs as she waves her hands around..
Steve and Dustin was horrified as they hide into the counters, Y/N was risking her life for theirs..
The guards that was chasing them made eye contact and targeted Y/N but before they could do anything a car honk.. The russians looked at each other, confused and dazed.. Eleven can be seen controlling the car, she throws it at the bad men and all they could hear were groans..
Y/N felt a surge of relief, she made her way to her brother.. Dustin, Robin, Erica and Steve pop out from behind the counter, steam hissing.. Y/N saw her brother and they all rushed up to hug her..
A tight hug welcomed Y/N, but this hug wasn't just from Dustin.. It was also from Robin, Erica and Steve.. Suddenly they all look up to see the rest of the party.. The hug was cut off by Dustin running to hug Mike and Eleven.
"Lucas?" Erica saw her brother and it made Lucas confuse..
"What are you doing here?"
Y/N who was just taking in deep breaths smiled to herself.. They were safe, but she knew this was not over.. Steve stayed in Y/N side, Robin's word replayed in his mind.. This is his chance to say his undying love to Y/N.
"Y/N?"
"Hmm?" Y/N saw Steve besides her, she was growing tired but Y/N needed to keep thriving for everyone.. Y/N saw that Steve was hesitant, he was nervous and it made her felt nervous too.
"I--I uhh.." Steve mumbles, his tongue was backing out.. Y/N had such a powerful effect on him, to the way she says his name, and everytime Y/N calls him, his heart skips a beat.. It sounds corny, but it was true..
"What?Do you need a speak and spell?" Y/N joked, it didn't help a struggling Steve.. He started to grew more anxious, he needed to get this off his chest.. This could be the last time they all see each other alive, there's no telling what could happen to them.
Y/N was just staring at him
"I have something to confess---"
Steve was cut off by El who was in pain and grunting in the floor.. They all ran to her aid and helped her with the pain she was going through.. Steve slightly curses at himself, maybe this was not a great time for a love confession.. He needed to focus on surviving this hellish adventure.. Again
It finally ended.. Y/N was relieved, it was over.. They were safe, Y/N and Dustin were sitting in the back of an ambulance, a blanket around them as they hug each other..
"If this shit happens again, we're moving.." Y/N jokes.. Dustin chuckled, maybe they should.. However, the adventures were growing more fun and dangerous..
"Nah, we love being heroes.."
Y/N laughs as she held her brother tighter, she fixed his hair and wipe some dirt off his face.. Even if he's old now, he'll always be Y/N's baby brother.. She smiled at the memory of Suzie and Dustin singing in the middle of mayhem and chaos.
"Stooop, I'm all grown up now!" He stood up and made his way to his friends..
"Don't get too far, lover boy!" Y/N shouted causing Dustin's cheek to blush..
Y/N sighs at the sight of her brother walking away from her, this is the last time she'll save the world, she was tired of monsters.. Y/N was just enjoying the cold air of the night when someone cleared their throat.
"Hello to you Harrington.." Y/N smiled at Steve, he was just standing infront of her.. Y/N can't help but feel giddy when Steve's in his sailor outfit.. It saddens her that Steve was still stuck in his highschool mindset..
"I have something to tell you.." Steve mumbles incoherently, but Y/N understood it.. Steve was always nervous when Y/N's around, he remember the first time he saw Y/N..
Steve saw Dustin on the street asking for help, and he didn't believe at him first but he was soon convinced by how Dustin was nervous and scared.. They pulled up at the Henderson's residence, that's where he first saw--no that's not the right word..
That's where he first acknowledged Y/N..
She was sitting on the porch steps on her pajama's, there were dirt on her face and her hairs a mess.. Y/N's face lighten up when he saw Dustin getting out of the car..
"Hey Dus------What is he doing here?" Y/N's face dropped when he saw Steve also getting out of the car.
"He's our back up.." Her brother answered short and continue walking into the entrance of the basement.
"I'm back up..'' Steve said cocky at Y/N, she just scoffs and followed Dustin..
"For a guy with a black eye, you're awfully confident.."
"That's what seeing a pretty girl like you does to me.." Steve didn't know what he ate that time but he had this whole new confidence when he started talking to Y/N.. However, Y/N didn't seem impressed to his corny jokes and pick up lines, she was always scoffing and rolling her eyes..
"Yeah, you said that too when we were inside..That" Y/N's voice pulled him back to the present.. Y/N gestured at the burning mall infront of them.
"Yeah.." Steve cleared his throat, he opens his mouth, but the words won't come out he's chokin', how, everybody's jokin' now, the clocks run out, times up, over, blaow .
"Are you gonna say something?" Y/N was starting to get nervous, did she do something to make Steve act strange? He was shaking, the sweat on his forehead is flowing like the Niagara Falls.. That's not attractive yet for some reason she found it hot..
"Oh--Yeah--Uhh.." He failed to say words again, why can't he just go straight to the point?
Robin who was with the rest of the party was staring at a stuttering and nervous Steve.. The rest started to notice even Jonathan and Nancy who was in each others arms..
"When is he gonna tell my sister that he likes her?" Dustin ponder as he stares at the two..
"I don't know, he's taking forever just uttering one sentence.." Lucas pitched in making the others laugh..
"I thought Steve was a suave and cool guy?" Mike jokes causing some of them to laugh, some was just quiet.. They were still having a hard time grasping all of this, especially Max..
"He's a nerd just like you guys.." Nancy answered, they all shake their heads as they watch Steve nervously fidgets..
"Alright, I finally had enough.." Robin whispers, the party turned to Robin, carefulky watching to what she had under her sleeves..
"HEY Y/N!" Robin shouts..
Y/N broke her gaze with Steve and brought it to a shouting Robin, not far from them.. Steve just froze to his place, panic started blaring out through his mind..
"WHAT STEVE'S TRYING TO SAY IS HE FREAKING LIKES YOU!" Robin shouted, and it all made them freeze.. Y/N blinked rapidly, did she hear that right? Steve l-likes her? What? When? How? Where?
Steve felt embarrased, he wanted the crawl in a hole and die.. Robin was dead to him, how could she do that? Now Y/N's gonna start to avoid him, she obviously doesn't like her back.
"I-Is that true?" Y/N finally asked the question she was dying to ask, she never really thought about Steve that way.. Fine, she's not gonna lie, there were some thoughts about Steve that kept her up at night..
"I can explain--If you don't feel the same it's totally fi----" Steve panicked and randomly said any excuses he can think off, not giving Y/N a chance to speak..
Y/N rolled her eyes at how Steve was rambling on, she smiled and stands up.. Pulling Steve sailor outfit, she kissed him..
Steve pressed his lips harder on Y/N, he wanted this kiss to happen since he first saw her.. And now it's happening, Y/N puts her arm around Steve's neck.. This was her first kiss and she was glad that it was to Steve.. They both kissed as the burning Star Court crumbles infront of them. Y/N didn't knew that you can find love and monsters in this terrifying situation..
Dustin groaned at the sight of her sister and bestfriend kissing, he wanted to vomit and scoop his eyes out.. This was not a sight for sore eyes..
"Ugh!I don't want to watch my sister exchange salivas with Harrington!" Dustin sigh under his breath
"Get used to it, you'll be seeing a lot of him.." Robin teased making Dustin die inside.
"Dammit!"
Y/N was just thinking that some people lost someone special, Eleven lost Hopper.. Max lost Billy and the rest will wake up in the morning with terrible memories haunting them everyday, they can no longer feel the assurance that they're safe in the quiet town they grew up to. They knew everything that lies withing the depths of this ground, all the horrible things that Hawkin Labs brought.. Chief Hopper and Billy Hargrove died for them, they were heroes.. And the sad part is, no one will ever know.. Those who deserves to be recognized is no longer here, the heroine act they did save the world yet the world doesn't even know about them.. But Y/N and the rest knows that the sacrifices they made won't go to waste, they'll do everything in their power to keep whatever haunts this eerie town at bay.
I found this highly nice but cringey at the same time so bear with it, I also wanted to update my series about James Potter but I just can't seem to end it ughhhhh..Anyways, I hope you guys like this one..

Pain. Anger. Confusion. The emotions that were going through your mind were unbearable.
It caused heartaches and pain. Even though your best friend was Miguel, you couldn’t tell him anything because he was also good friends with Hawk.
You and Hawk got into a fight because of how he was acting.
It was not amusing to you and you really didn’t like it either.
The result of the fight ended up in you leaving his house in tears, Hawk not even texting or calling you ever since that day.
But little did you know, he really wanted to text you.
Which made you mentally exhausted and that was not good because you had the All Valley tournament coming up in a few days.
Mentally preparing, you asked your father if you can do some meditation before the tournament came.
Your dad was also a pretty good teacher considering he was a previous All Valley champion.
“Hey honey, are you okay,” Daniel asked you.
He saw your face and he was very concerned for your health and mental health.
“Yeah dad, I’m fine, I’m just a little tired.”
That didn’t settle it for Daniel. He knew his daughter and he knew something was up.
“Y/n talk to me. I can tell there’s something wrong and you can’t deny that.”
You had to tell your father, there was no hiding from him.
“Me and Eli got into a fight a couple days ago and now I have to see him at All Valley, and I don’t think I’m prepared for that,” you said truthfully.
Daniel looked at you with sympathy then it quickly turned to anger.
“I never liked that kid. He’s no good for you Y/n, and you can do better.”
A a part of you wanted to think that, but the other part knew you belonged with Hawk.
“I know dad, but let’s see what’s going to happen okay?”
Daniel gave you a small reluctant nod, then proceeded with a smile.
“I love you dad.”
“I love you too, honey.”

The day has finally come and you were now about to compete in the all valley championship with your karate teammate, Robby.
Robby was a brother figure to you and you loved him as if he really was.
“Hey, Y/n, are you okay? You seem kinda....... tense.”
“Yeah I’m fine, it’s just that Hawk and I got into a fight and I really don’t want to see him now.”
Robby was panning the room and his eyes met with Hawk’s.
Staring at him, he shook his head in disappointment, while Hawk stared at him.
Hawk was about to go across the blue mat to talk to Robby, but Miguel held him back.
“Dude, you can’t make a scene, especially right before we compete,” Miguel said.
“I don’t like how he’s talking to her,” Hawk said referring to Robby.
You felt eyes on you then turned around to see Hawk staring at you.
It wasn't a cold stare, it was more of a sympathetic and apologetic one.
But when his gaze turned to Robby, his stare was cold as ice.
The time has finally come and the competition was starting now.
You were around the third one to go up and compete. A boy around your age was your competition.
You faced him and bowed, then faced the ref and bowed to him.
When getting into your stance, you could see Hawk from your peripherals and he seemed to have a worried look on his face.
As if he was scared you’d get hurt, but he should know that you know how to kick ass pretty well.
After several hits and kicks, you won with a proud smile.
Hawk seemed to be proud as well. He clapped and cheered for you.
Which was surprising to you to be honest, since he hasn’t contacted you for a while.
Hawk was competing next and he had his ‘intimidating face.’
As expected, he viciously defeated his opponent, then undid his belt and took off his gi.
He flexed his back and started to move his arms so his hawk tattoo would be moving.
He then turned to you then looked at you up and down with a smirk.
You tried so hard not to blush because you were still mad at him, but it was hard not to.
The time has come and it was the moment you were dreading.
You had to compete with Hawk.
When the announcers called your name and Hawk’s, the two of you looked at each other and you slightly smiled, but he did not return it.
He was confusing as fuck to be honest.
Hawk went onto the mat first, then you.
Bowing at the ref, then at each other, Hawk gave you a wink.
It made you confused because you did not know if he was going to go easy on you or not.
“FIGHT” you heard the ref say.
“Don’t worry, princess, it will be just like how we practice.”Hawk said.
You smirked then started to throw punches at him.
You and Hawk had pretty similar karate techniques, but he was stronger.
“You’re not going to get away that easily, Eli,”you said to him, out of breath.
Being the girlfriend of Eli meant you had special privileges, including being the only one to call him Eli without him killing someone.
“Hey babe, you know I had your favorite food while you were gone,” Hawk said while trying to throw punches at you.
“Oh, you did not just go there,” you said to him.
Hawk just smirked, hoping that caught you off guard, but it didn't.
You decided to get payback with something that will for sure distract him, maybe even kill someone.
“I think I’m starting to catch feelings for Robby,” you said with a huge smirk.
Hawk just froze there with a angry face. Oh boy, was this boy about to explode, but unfortunately he was too distracted at that thought and you were able to kick him, scoring a point.
You won and Hawk was still too in shock to process that he lost.
He was so pissed and was literally about to run across the mat to go punch Robby, but before he could, you stopped him while putting your hands on his chest.
That always calmed him down and you knew that.
“Eli, I was just kidding, you said that only to get you off guard,” you said to him hopefully calming him down.
He looked at you with anger still in his face, but when he looked into your eyes, he calmed down a bit.
“Hey are you okay Y/n” Robby asked you, not lookin at Hawk.
Hawk was literally seconds away from pouncing at Robby, but you stood in front of Hawk and grabbed his arms to put around your shoulders, restraining him basically.
“Yes Robby, were fine, you don’t have to worry.”
Robby nodded then gave Hawk a glare while leaving.
“He better not try anything,” you heard Hawk say from under his breath.
“Eli, whatever happened in the past few days, can we just forget about it please.”
“Look Y/n, I don’t even know why we got into a fight in the first place.”
“It was because you were acting like a dick to other kids.”
Hawk held his head down, but then looked back into your eyes.
“I’m sorry Y/n, I will try to be better I promise, for you,” He said while kissing your hand.
“I love you Eli.”
“I love you more Y/n.”

Between These Four Walls - Thomas Shelby x Fem!Reader (NSFW/+18)
Requested: No
Fandom: Peaky Blinders
Pairing: Thomas Shelby x Female Reader
Summary: “You liked the attention,” Tommy stated, taking his time to shed his jacket, carefully hanging it on a nearby chair to work on his cufflinks. She laughed, observing him from her spot on the bed. One bare leg on top of the cotton sheets that covered the other one all the way to her waist. “And you liked the claim, so what?”
Warnings: Smut and swearing (NSFW/+18).
Word Count: 1047 (in theory)
A/N: Just me ignoring my requests and doing what my brain pleases. I blame it all on @blinder-secrets, to whom this one-shot is dedicated, because their blog always gives me ideas that I can't ignore: I really, really hope that you liked this and that it makes your week a little better. This was loosely based on this ask (I have a feeling that I should credit @shelbyblinded for the idea, and here is the gifset mentioned on the ask, for context if you want) and explores the afterwards of the interaction between Tommy and Michael. Hope you enjoy it. Feedback is always appreciated.
(Y/N) = Your Name
English is not my first language and this wasn’t proofread by a beta.
If you want to be tagged in my stories, just send me a message.
(Y/N)’s smile was pure mischief, disguised as bashful playfulness in her angelic features.
“You liked the attention,” Tommy stated, taking his time to shed his jacket, carefully hanging it on a nearby chair to work on his cufflinks.
She laughed, observing him from her spot on the bed. One bare leg on top of the cotton sheets that covered the other one all the way to her waist.
“And you liked the claim, so what?”
Tommy tried to suppress the smirk from appearing on his lips. The image of Michael’s shocked expression when he told his cousin that he and (Y/N) had been fucking was priceless. And he didn’t even know half of it.
(Y/N) was Michael’s friend—from the village he was raised after being taken away from Polly, from the time he was still Henry. They lost contact after Michael came to Birmingham, and met again, by chance, a little before Tommy’s wedding.
At that time, Tommy had Grace and didn’t care about the girl hanging from Michael’s arm at the ceremony. Then, Grace died and he had a lot to deal with—the priest, the Russians, the grief—that the last thing on his mind was the country girl fooling around with his cousin.
Things changed right after Michael left for America. His cousin hadn’t had the time to talk to (Y/N) before leaving, and one night, she came looking for him on the Garrison. She caught him in a bad day—wrong time, wrong place—Tommy took his anger out on her and was more than surprised when the girl didn’t even flinch at his harsh words. The night ended with her body pressed against his and the wall of one of the back rooms.
One-time thing, he had said to himself. Except that it wasn’t.
He liked the challenge, liked that she was younger than him, that she didn’t take any of his shit, and how she felt under him. It was intoxicating, made him forget about the problems, and something that was meant to be a one-time thing became a regular thing. Soon he lost count of how many times he had been seeking her out, to clear his head.
When Michael fucked it all up in America and came back, Tommy thought that whatever he and (Y/N) had would end as it had begun—out of the blue. Until she appeared at his office in London one night, wearing nothing but lingerie underneath her long black coat.
“Have you talked to him?” Tommy asks, nonchalantly, as he continues to undress.
“He tried, I said that we had nothing to talk about after everything. He can go talk to his American wife now.”
“That’s why you’re here?”
Tommy looked at her, she was frowning, the hint of worry clear on her eyes. She got up on her knees, the sheet falling down and revealing the peach-colored negligee—his favorite, he noticed—and crawled to the end of the bed, sitting on her calves, facing him.
“You think this is a rebound?”
He ignored her question, and the slight hurt in her voice, placing the pocket watch and arm garters on the table, then taking off the waistcoat.
“Tommy, look at me.” (Y/N)’s tone was firm, and he complied, turning around and walking to her. She got up on her knees, hands resting on his chest as she looked him dead in the eye and said, “You really think that what we created in these past three years was just a distraction for me? That I would throw all of this out the window just because Michael came back from America?”
“Wouldn’t hold it against you. The two of you had something going on way before I’ve properly met you.”
“And by properly met me you mean pressing me up against the wall in the backroom of your pub and having your way with me?”
Tommy rolled his eyes, but there was a smile on his lips and (Y/N) took advantage of this moment of weakness to start unbuttoning his dress shirt, looking innocently at him and biting her lower lip.
“I don’t want Michael, not for a long time. Wouldn’t have wanted him back even if he was not married to some American gold-digger. I want you,” she breathed against his lips, freeing him from the braces, “Or I wouldn’t have let whatever it is that we have going on continue for this long.”
“Yeah,” he asked, kissing her lightly, “Don’t want a guy your age?”
“No, I want the old man that knows how to touch me like no guy my age ever dreamt off.” Pulling his shirt out of his pants, (Y/N) made quick work of throwing it around the room, lips meeting his for a hungry kiss as she did the same thing with his undershirt. “The one who is ruthless dealing with the business but it’s all soft with his son. The old man who makes me beg for him to touch me and makes me want to be his.”
“All mine?” He asks, leaning in to press her body against his, lips searching for hers as they both fall into bed.
“All yours,” she confirms, eyelids heavy with lust, and something else that Tommy choses to ignore for the moment, fingers dragging the thin fabric of her negligee all the way up and out of her body. He curses under his breath after realizing she’s wearing nothing under the delicate piece. “I like being yours,” (Y/N) confesses, breathless as he kisses down her neck, “between these four walls.”
“Just between these four walls?”
“Well, maybe between some other walls as well,” she teases, bringing his lips back to hers, legs wrapping around his waist, making them both moan against each other lips with the friction. “But we both know that outside these walls I am my own woman.”
“I don’t mind that.” Tommy breathed against her skin, before getting rid of his pants and undershorts the fattest he could. His eyes closed for a second when he pressed his body against her again, skin on skin this time. He slipped into her in one swift motion, groaning at the feel of her so wet and inviting. “As long as you are my woman between these walls.”

Crash Into Me
You’d been MGK’s assistant for years, but you never thought you had a chance at anything more with him until one stoplight changes everything.
Request: “ok im so sorry if this is 2 specific but ive had this idea for ages abt pining!colson x an insecure/clueless!reader who has been his assistant forever. she gets into a car accident and calls him hours later to tell him that a temp will be taking her place for a few weeks (bc of injuries) and he's like ?? why?? she explains nonchalantly, then kells kinda freaks out and shows up at the hospital all worried”
Colson Baker X Reader
Warnings: Cursing, car accident (descriptive)
A/N: This was cute 😊
Word Count: 3185
“Alright Kells, I’m out for the night. I’ll email those tracks to the board when I get home and I’ll let you know if I get any updates for tomorrow’s press.” You told the blond man who was sitting on the couch as you put your laptop into your bag. You tried not to yawn as you heaved it over your shoulder, “anything else?”
You glanced at the kitchen clock that read 2 am and let out a small sigh. You were used to late nights given your job as assistant to a rockstar, but most nights you were able to leave before 8 pm. Tonight you and Colson had gotten really invested in the tracks you were editing and lost track of time.
“Y/N,” he turned to look at you with puppy dog eyes. He wanted something that you really weren’t gonna want to give him. “Could you come over early tomorrow to help me pick out what to wear for the Vanity Fair interview?”
You chuckled, “you know they have their own wardrobe department?”
He sighed, “yeah but you know me so much better than all those stylists. I trust your opinion more.”
You rolled your eyes as he tilted his head, begging you. “Fine, but I’m buying us coffee with your credit card.”
He broke out into a smile, “thank you, love you!” He called as you walked towards his front door.
“Whatever, I’ll see you tomorrow.” You told him, taking your car keys into your hands, and stepping out into the LA night. There was a soft breeze that shook the trees slightly, making you smile. It felt nice outside for the first time in a while.
Because of this, you decided to drive home with your windows rolled down, letting the wind flow through your hair. The roads were pretty barren by LA standards, so traffic was pretty much non-existent. You were sitting at a red light, your fingers tapping against your steering wheel as one of Colson’s songs played through your speakers softly.
You reached to turn up the volume as the light turned green. You pressed the gas, your car moving forward into the intersection. Suddenly you heard a loud squeal of brakes, looking over to your passenger window to the sight of two headlights barreling towards you. You tried to speed up to get out of the way, but it was too late.
The truck rammed straight into the side of your small car, pushing your vehicle over into the car next to you. You put your left arm up to shield you from any flying debris, but it was futile. The infrastructure of your car fell apart at the force, the dashboard collapsing onto your right leg. Luckily, your left leg managed to avoid the destruction.
You could barely feel the force of the whiplash due to the pain in your abdomen at the deployment of the airbag. Glass from the car next to you fell into your car through your open window, cutting into your skin.
And then all of a sudden, everything stopped. The truck that had hit you had stopped moving, allowing you to fully assess the damage. Your car was totaled for sure, and your leg was definitely crushed. You cried out in pain, breathing heavy and trying to see straight. You could hear the sound of sirens in the distance, giving you some sense of relief.
When the paramedics got to the scene, you were the last passenger to be taken out of the crash due to your car being in the center. A firefighter had to break the glass of your windshield, which was already cracked, in order to pull you out. When you told him your leg was stuck under the dashboard, he sent a team of men to lift it from your foot and another to pull you out of the wreckage.
They were all amazed you were still conscious but got very worried when you told them you couldn’t feel the pain in your leg. You rode in an ambulance to the hospital, the EMTs helping pick the glass from your skin and assessing your injuries. You made jokes with them to calm yourself down, something that you did with Colson and Rook whenever they got into accidents while you were out with them.
You thought about giving them Colson’s name when they asked about your emergency contact but decided against it. You didn’t want to worry him until absolutely necessary. You figured you’d see what the doctor had to say and if you wouldn’t be able to come back to work, then you would tell him.
Unfortunately, that’s exactly what the doctor said. In fact, you wouldn’t be able to leave the hospital for at least a week due to your shattered leg, bruised abdomen, and concussion.
The leg would require at least 2 if not more surgeries to repair and you would be on close watch for development of a more serious brain injury. After that you most likely wouldn’t be able to be back on your feet for another 8 to 12 weeks, which was kind of a requirement for your job.
It was almost 5am, so you weren’t necessarily thinking straight when you called Colson from your cracked phone. He answered, his voice conveying how tired he was. “Y/N? Everything okay?”
“Hey Kells, I’m not gonna be able to come in early tomorrow, or at all. I’m gonna start looking for a temporary replacement tomorrow if I’m feeling up to it. Oh! And I couldn’t send those tracks to the board, sorry.” You told him, only half registering the words you were saying.
The confusion was evident in his voice, “what? Why do you need to find a replacement?”
You realized you had forgotten to tell him what happened. “Oh, yeah! It’s kind of funny.” You started, chuckling but then realizing that laughing made your stomach hurt even more. “And by funny, I mean not funny at all. I got into a car accident. Some dude ran into my car in an intersection and now I’m in the hospital.”
“Which hospital?” Colson asked, suddenly much more awake.
“Hollywood Presbyterian.” You told him, “why?”
He sounded like he was rushing around, which he was. “I’m coming to see you.”
You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion, “why? I’m fine, you don’t need to do that. You have a big interview tomorrow, you should sleep.”
Colson sighed, “fuck the interview, I’ll be there in a few.”
“Colson you don’t-“ You started, but he hung up before you could tell him not to come.
Why was he rushing to see you in the hospital? Sure, you were friends, but he had much more important things to worry about right now. And besides, you were more casual work friends. He wouldn’t even know you existed if you didn’t work for him. Sure, you had a huge crush on him, but he was your boss, you were just someone he asked to do things he didn’t want to do.
20 minutes later Colson ran into the hospital room, stopping when he saw you in the bed. Your face was red from chemical burn and a few cuts of glass. Your right leg was propped up with basic bandaging around it. His heart broke at the thought of how much pain you had probably been in.
“How are you feeling?” He asked softly, moving to sit in the chair on your left side.
You shrugged, “I’ve been better.”
“Why didn’t you call me sooner?” He asked, eyes full of pity.
“I didn’t want to bother you unless it was serious. Figured I’d find out if I would have to miss work before telling you.” You said, squeezing your eyes shut as a headache washed over you.
Colson’s mouth gaped open, “you didn’t want to bother me? You got in a car crash and you weren’t gonna call me unless you would have to miss work?”
You shrugged again, “yeah. If my laptop wasn’t completely crushed in the accident I would’ve just found and sent a temp in tomorrow, but obviously that’s impossible.”
“Y/N you’re kidding me, right?” He asked, exasperated. You furrowed your eyebrows in response, causing a sigh to fall from his lips. “Y/N I don’t give a shit about a temp; I want to make sure you’re okay.”
“Oh, I’m fine. A little shaken and these headaches are killer, but they gave me a lot of pain medication so, I’m fine.” You smiled at him, your thoughts racing as you tried to figure out why he cared so much about how you were feeling.
He nodded, hand reaching out and landing on top of yours gently. “So, do they have to do surgery? What all did the doctors say?” He asked, worry in his eyes.
You nodded, “yeah, at least 2 surgeries. One around 11 am and then depending on how that one goes they’ll schedule the next. And they have to watch me to make sure my concussion doesn’t get worse.”
He pulled out his phone, typing away. “What are you doing?” You asked, suddenly feeling very tired.
“I just emailed the PR liaison for Vanity Fair and told them I wouldn’t be able to make it to the interview.” He responded.
“Why did you do that?” You asked through a yawn.
He looked at you like the answer was the most obvious thing in the world, “because I have to be with you right now.”
You were very confused as to why he thought he had to be here. “Colson, I’ll be fine. You should go to the interview. You don’t have to stay here.”
“I do have to be here. I want to be here.” He said, sternly.
“Why?” You asked, trying to keep your eyes open.
“Because I wanna make sure you’re okay.”
“I’ll just call you after the surgery, it’s no big deal.” You responded lazily.
He shook his head, “I want to stay here with you, Y/N. Okay? I care about you.”
You were too tired to process what he was saying at this point, so you just let out a hum. “I need to make sure you’re okay. I need to see you being okay. When you called me, I swear I was gonna have a heart attack if I didn’t see you.” He continued.
You were barely awake at this point, letting out a simple, “I’m okay” before slipping into unconsciousness.
Suddenly you were back in your car, “Bloody Valentine” playing from your speakers. The sky was dark green, almost like a painting. In front of you, the red light turned green. Like clockwork, you pressed the gas, moving into the intersection. Suddenly, the lights disappeared, and you heard the familiar chilling sound of breaks squealing. You looked over and saw those headlights coming towards you, getting closer and closer, brighter, and brighter.
You screamed at the sight, the familiar paralyzing fear coursing through your body again. “Y/N!” Your name played through the radio. That’s not in the song, you thought. “Y/N!” Colson’s voice rang out again before the truck made contact with your car.
You woke up in a cold sweat to Colson standing over you, hands shaking your shoulders lightly. “Y/N.” He said, relieved when your eyes began to open.
Your entire body was shaking like a poodle and your arms subconsciously reached for Colson, hanging onto his shirt for dear life. “It was just a dream.” He whispered as your eyes darted around the room. “You’re okay.” He reassured you.
“I’m sorry.” You muttered, hands leaving the fabric and moving to cover up your face. “I’m sorry.”
Colson sat on the bed next to you, legs hanging off the side as he stroked your face gently. “It’s okay, baby.” He turned to the nurse who opened the door, a worried expression on her face. He shook his head at her, “sorry, she just had a nightmare. She’s okay.” The nurse nodded but stayed in the room anyways, checking your vitals.
“I’m sorry.” You mumbled again, the words seeming to be the only thing you could say.
Colson shook his head, “stop saying that, it’s okay.” You pouted at him, trying to scoot over so he would lay down next to you, but it was way too painful. “What are you doin?” He asked, a smile on his face.
You sighed, “wanted you to sit next to me but I can’t move because of this stupid leg.” You motioned to the leg in question.
Colson chuckled, “I can sit next to you in the chair.”
“That didn’t work last time.” You whined.
He looked at you with an expression that was both amused and confused. You were definitely still high on pain medication. “What didn’t work.”
“It didn’t stop the nightmare.” You frowned, hand reaching for his. He chuckled, standing up fully and looking at the nurse.
She flashed him an amused smile, “If you want, we can try to move her. I don’t know how much we can do without hurting her ribs, though.”
Colson nodded with a gracious smile, “hear that? We can’t move you because of your ribs.”
You glared at him, “I may be very high right now, but I’m not that high.” You said, making him giggle. “She said you could try.”
Colson let out an exasperated sigh, one arm going under your back and the other under your left leg. “Is this what it’s like taking care of me all the time?” He asked and you nodded your head firmly.
“Yep. Except I am much smaller than you, so you have less work to do with me.” You smiled as he lifted you off the bed, which quickly turned into a grimace. “Ow!” You yelped and Colson quickly set you down, slightly closer to the right side of the bed.
“Fuck, sorry princess. Are you okay?” He asked, voice soft.
You nodded, sucking in your bottom lip to block the whimpers of pain that threatened to escape your mouth. “You probably don’t remember, but one time you were so crossed that you called me to pick you up from a party. But you couldn’t make it out of the car, so I had to carry you into your house. And then you demanded to sleep in your own room, so you made me drag you up the stairs instead of passing out on the couch like normal.”
Colson let out a breathy chuckle, glad you weren’t hurt too much. He carefully sat onto the cot next to you, pulling up his right leg to sit on the bed. His arm wrapped around your shoulders and pulled you into him slightly. You shifted so that you were comfortable, left hand finding his own left hand and holding it. He brought his left leg up onto the bed so he was fully laying with you.
Your head rest on his chest, a soft smile on your face as his thumb rubbed circles on your hand. The nurse left, satisfied that you wouldn’t hurt yourself further. Colson pressed a small kiss to the top of your head, causing your eyebrows to furrow.
“What time is it?” You asked him, to which he responded by pulling out his phone and showing you the lock screen. 8:47am. You nodded, a frown on your face, “did you get any sleep?” You asked him softly.
“I’m fine, I was asleep for a few hours before you called me.”
You sighed, feeling guilty. “You should go home and get some sleep.”
You felt him shake his head from behind you, “I’m staying right here.”
Despite wanting to force him to go home, you couldn’t help the happiness you felt at his stubbornness to stay with you. “You know you don’t need to be here. I won’t be offended if you leave.”
He chuckled, “stop trying to get me to leave. I’m here. On my own accord, okay? I’m gonna take care of you.”
You paused, thinking about the word floating around your head. “Why?” you whispered.
Colson’s face scrunched in confusion, “what do you mean “why”? Because you’re my friend and I care about you.”
“I mean, yeah. But I’m not like a “drop everything” kind of friend, I’m just your assistant.” You muttered.
Colson made an “are-you-serious?” face and let out a snort. “Seriously? You are so much more than you give yourself credit for. You mean the world to me, of course I’d drop everything for you.”
You couldn’t think of a response, his words making your heart race. “oh.” Was the best you could come up with.
“Y/N, seriously, you think way too low of yourself. You’re amazing.” He said, nose burying into your hair.
You shrugged, “you only say that because I take care of you when you’re drunk and help you do all the things you don’t want to do.”
Colson’s expression softened, a frown forming on his face. “I’m saying that because I think the world of you. You’re the kindest, funniest, coolest person I know. I meant it, when you told me you were in the hospital, my heart almost stopped. I felt sick to my stomach just thinking about you being hurt.” He paused, taking a deep breath before continuing, “I wish you could see how much you mean to me.” He mumbled.
You were quiet for a little while, processing what he had said. “You’re only saying that because I’m in the hospital.” You muttered, a frown on your face. You were trying to keep your hopes low, knowing once you were out of here, he would regret saying any of this.
“Y/N, are you being serious right now? I’m saying this because I’ve been fucking in love with you for the past year and a half.” He said and you could feel your breath catch in your throat. “I can’t believe you don’t see it.”
You bit your lip, turning to look up to him. “I just- I didn’t want- you wouldn’t.” You stumbled over your words, taking a deep breath, and starting again. “I didn’t want to read too much into it or get my hopes up. I figured you’d never be into someone like me so I just told myself you were being nice. I thought you only treated me well because I worked for you.” You mumbled.
He frowned, holding you tighter to him, “I am so, so into you. You are the only woman in my life who has ever stuck by me through my worst shit. Like even when I was a total jackass you stayed with me. How could I not fall in love with you?”
You bit your lip, tears threatening to spill at his sweet sentiment. You’d never had anyone say something that kind about you. You’d always assumed people only kept you around because you did stuff for them, but here was the man you were in love with telling you that he cared about you for you.
“I love you too.” You whispered, leaning your head further into his chest.

Talking in you sleep
Musical beetlejuice x reader
Reader says Beetlejuice's name 3 times in their sleep, but hes already in their home
Sfw
Idk been thinking about this for ages
Just a small fic
It was an accident
It was no secret to anyone that you talk in your sleep, not full sentences, just a word or two, nothing too abnormal, you didn't know about this little quirk of yours until a certain foul mouthed undead demon wormed his way into your life, he was the one who told you.
...
"Ya know you chatter on in your sleep?" He'd chuckle as if he found something truly embarrassing to bug you about.
"How'd you know? Am I that loud you can hear me in the livingroom?"
"Nah, I watch you sleep" he said it so plainly as if it wasnt super creepy.
The ghoul eventually upped his late night habits from watching you sleep, to sleeping in the same bed as you, he did this so often you stopped setting up the couch for him and just accepted your fate to be spooned every night by a creepy old dead guy who you may or may not have a crush on
...
The nights you've babbled in your sleep always brought on annoying mornings of beetlejuice teasing you, probably lying through his teeth over how you moan his name in you sleep to get you worked up for his own amusement, unfortunately you couldnt prove you didnt since your dreams never really stuck with you long after waking.
Hell with your late night chatter you even manged to summon beej once in your sleep, a night he was spending over at the Deetz, you manged to say his name 3 times in a row, spoken, unbroken, in your sleep, and boy was your face red when you woke up and saw the bastard in question sitting inches from your face with the widest shit eating grin you've ever seen on his face, that was an instance you couldnt deny saying his name in your sleep and dreaming about him, you missed him, of course you think about the demon when you two are apart, even the few days he's with the Deetz and the maitlands.
Tonight wasnt one of those nights, beetlejuice has spent the entire day glued to your side, chatting your ear off about all the scares he and lydia pulled in your absence, his stories always made you smile, the way he practically glowed green with excitement as he retold his showmanship to you.
The night went on with bad jokes and fun stories as the demon filled you in on all the fun you missed while you were doing boring adult breather things and how the two of you should mess with some unlucky breathers so he could show you how amazing he truly was, as if you needed proof that the ghoul was a ham who loved to show off.
As the two of you sat on the couch laughing away, forgetting the movie that basically became White noise to your conversation, a yawn escapes your lips
"Getting tired babes? Am I really that boring" the ghoul teased pinching you cheek
You groan and pull away "well, yeah, unlike you mister freeloader, I worked all day" you shrug before letting out another yawn
"Freeloader? Oh sugar, your words hurt" the ghoul fakes hurt, giving you an over exaggerated gasped face, with his hands over where a person's heart would be "I thought we had the mutual understanding that I was your trophy husband"
You give the demon a soft laugh "you wish-"
"Every night baby~" he purrs pink stripes slowly appearing in his hair
You freeze, it wasnt uncommon for beetlejuice to openly flirt with you, but that doesnt mean it didnt make you freeze up everytime, you werent exactly the type people lined up to date, nor were you very popular growing up, so the sudden and intense attention the demon gave you always made your heart pound.
"Uh, um, I think I'm gonna head to bed" you stammer before getting up "night beej" you mumble before disappearing into your bedroom.
The demon stifles a laugh, god slash satan you were a delight to get worked up, not to mention easy. He loved it, his favourite little breather was always so hot when they were an embarrassed mess.
The ghoul decides to finish the movie the two of you had on in the background, before heading to bed with you, he didn't need to sleep, just enjoyed being snuggled up to that soft warm body of yours, and it was more rewarding to sneak in after you were out cold, bed would be already warm, and with the added thrill of not wanting to wake you.
As the credits roll beetlejuice snaps his fingers and tv goes dark, the ghoul raises from the couch and gives a yawn and a long stretch as if he was exhausted. The demon makes his way to your room, standing outside your door he pauses at the sound of your voice
"Beetlejuice"
It was soft, barely audible, but herd it, guess you were still up, beetlejuice phases through your bedroom door, to be greeted by your sleeping form.
He stifled a chuckle, you were dreaming of him, tomorrow was gonna be great, the ghoul was already busy thinking about ways to poke fun at this in the morning, moaning out his name in you sleep? What kind of dream were you having babes? He could see your face now.
"Beetlejuice" you mumble again in a whisper
"Whoa there babes, you know the rule, one more time and I'm out" he whispers making his way to your bed.
"Beetlejuice" you sigh
"Y/N!" was the the only thing he had time to shout before vanishing.
His shout was enough to make wake you, but not enough to clue you in to what you just did, you grumble out a swear before rolling over and going back to sleep.
The next morning you wake up, a tad confused to not have a snoring dead guy weighing you down, normally on nights beetlejuice would stay over he'd slip into bed with you after you've fallen asleep, using your chest as a pillow.
You dont think much of it at first, heading to the kitchen to make some coffee before getting dressed, you did notice there was no beej there either, waiting for you kettle to boil you give your little home a quick sweep for the demon, nothing.
He's vanished to do his own thing before, he was a grown man, sometimes he'd duck out and mess with the neighbors in your apartment complex, but he would at least leave you a note or something.
You started to worry, what if something awful happened to him? Then it clicked, lydia must had summoned him away to hang out, that had to be it, and with that thought all dread left you so you could carry on with your day, since bj wasnt around you took the opportunity to get a few odds and ends done.
The day drags on into the late evening, you were enjoying the peace as you catch up on some reading.
Your phone rings, looking at the screen you see its lydia, that's odd, she normally texts you if anything
"Hello?"
"Y/n I need to ask beetlejuice something"
"Isnt he with you?"
"What? No-"
Dread returns to you chest, you havent seen him since last night, he left no note, he wasnt with lydia, did something awful happen? was he bored with you? You felt like you were going to be sick
"Y/n?"
"I gotta go" was all you could say before hanging up,
"Beetlejuice!"
Nothing
"Beetlejuice!"
Again nothing, he normally came after the second yell, anxiety for your dear friend make you since to your stomach in fear for the worst, you steady yourself and take a deep breath and say it for a third time
"Beetlejuice"
With a puff of green smoke there stood the ghoul, unfortunately sporting a purple hue
"Bee-"
"It took you that long to notice I was gone?"
"No, I-"
"Why did it take so long then? Enjoying your time without me?!" Red streaks began to show up amongst the purple
"I thought lydia summoned you back-"
"And you waited till now to check?!"
"I DIDNT WANT TO BOTHER THE TWO OF YOU" you yelled back, beetlejuice is taken abck by your volume, you take a deep breath "if I knew why you were gone I would have said something sooner, what happened?" You say calmly gently taking the demon's hand, red now fading away, though the purple stayed
"You sent me away, you said my name 3 times in your sleep and sent me back to the netherworld" he refused to look at you as if you did this on purpose to mess with him.
"Bee, I'm sorry, I would have never done that on purpose, i- i love having you around, and I, god, i miss you when you're not here, with me" now it was your turn to refuse eye contact, admitting such a cheesy thing, you wanted to just die, not that it would help.
The purple hue is quick to leave the ghoul's form in replacement with a much softer pink, you missed him, music to his ears.
"Sugar" beetlejuice grabs your chin and forces eye contact
You give him a soft smile seeing that he was no longer purple, but also when he pulls you into a rather over exaggerated dip and sloppy kiss "so how bout we make up for some lost time and you can make this little misunderstanding up to me, what do you say babes?~"
You only stutter and choke on your words as the demon spins you around
"Would you like to scare some delivery guy and watch a bad slasher?" You finally get out
The demon pauses for a moment, as if to think about this offer.
"Normally I'd be delighted honey, but I think you owe me~ how bout you have to sit on my lap the entire film~" he wiggles his eyebrows suggestively at you, you swallow the lump in your throat, this was gonna be a long night
Bonus
The two of you were snuggled together on the couch, Beetlejuice's arms were around your waist, his head on your shoulder, your bum on his lap.
"So babes, whatever you dreaming about last night?"

A Cruel Joke
Emily x Bi!Fem!Reader
Masterlist
Summary: You find solace in the arms of a hurting FBI agent after she comes to investigate the death of your best friend.
Category: Angst, implied smut.
Warnings: 15 year age gap between adults (37/22)
Word Count: 4.9k
A/N: If you don’t like the name Alexa, I’m sorry, just try to imagine that it’s a different name.
A lesbian and a bisexual walk up to a crime scene. It sounds like the beginning of a bad joke, but this situation was very real, and very unfunny.
You’d had a bad feeling. That should have been enough to get you to stay with her, you’re best friend, but you didn’t. You had been selfish.
And now she was dead.
Alexa was dead.
And it was your fault.
Had you just pulled yourself together and been there for her as a friend, stopped worrying about how you felt, she wouldn’t have walked back to your campus apartment from that party alone, and she wouldn’t have been vulnerable to the monster that took her and he wouldn’t have…
But he did, and now you were numbly walking down the sidewalk that led behind the sorority house you’d been partying at and to the local park, not even registering anything that was happening around you.
You’d heard the news before you could even press send on a text making sure she was okay. You’d heard the news, but you had to confirm for yourself. She couldn’t be dead, she just couldn’t be. You saw her only last night, not even six hours ago.
Despite officers and other important people yelling at you to get back, you just kept walking towards the crime scene, taped off with that awful yellow color.
Just as you were about to duck under the tape, approach the group of suits standing with their backs to you in a half circle, you felt a hand on your shoulder, a presence appearing in front of you.
“Miss, I’m sorry but you can’t be here.” It was a delicate voice, belonging to a woman.
“I have to know if it’s her. I just saw her, it can’t be her, I have to know if it’s her,” you mumbled in a panic, still trying to get a glimpse of what was sprawled on the ground in front of the officers. You realized they were staring at you now, but you couldn’t look away. You had to know.
“Miss, please, you shouldn’t be here,” the woman repeated. Her hand was still on your shoulder, and you finally looked her in the eyes, took in her face. Her features were gentle yet strong, and there was something striking about the contrast between her dark hair, fair skin, and pink lips.
You were trembling, something she could feel against her fingertips, and the water brimming in your eyes was enough to let her know how much you cared, probably more than anyone around.
She quickly glanced back at the other men behind her, and the tallest one nodded. With her hand still on your shoulder, she escorted you away from the scene, and away from prying eyes to a secluded park bench.
“Would you like to take a seat?” she asked.
All you could do was nod. Nothing felt real. Her voice sounded like it was reaching your ears by an old, fuzzy radio set up 10 feet away from you. This can’t be happening.
You plopped down on the bench with much less grace than the woman before you, who introduced herself as Agent Prentiss. “But you can call me Emily,” she’d said. “Can you tell me your name?”
“Y/N Y/L/N,” you whispered. Your arms were wrapped around yourself as you asked, “Is it her? Is it Alexa?”
Emily dodged your question with another question. “Who’s Alexa?” You later realized why she didn’t ask you how you knew her. She didn’t ask because she’d have to ask ‘how did you know her’ and not ‘how do you know her,’ something that surely would have set you off.
“She… she’s my b-best friend,” you mumbled around the lump in your throat.
“You mentioned that you just saw her. When was that?”
“Last night. We decided to crash the party with some of our friends who are actually in the sorority,” you explained meekly. “Please, Emily. Would you please tell me if it’s her? I have to know.”
Emily sighed and gave you a sad look, which was really all you needed, but hearing the words made it final. “Yes. We found identification on her with the name Alexa Stephens. I’m so sorry.”
Your whole heart shattered. You cared about her more than any of her other friends, and you sometimes wondered if you cared about her more than her family. She had a rough childhood and couldn’t stand to be in the same state as them anymore, which is why she transferred halfway through her freshman year. You immediately connected with her and you’d been friends ever since.
Your mind was racing, thinking of all the questions you needed answered, all the things you could have done differently to keep her alive. If you would have just been there…
“It’s not your fault,” the angelic voice broke through the static in your head, as if she could hear your thoughts.
“It is,” you whimpered, “If I had just pulled myself together, we would have walked home together, and she wouldn’t have been alone. Oh god, she died alone.”
“You did nothing wrong. You didn’t know, you couldn’t have. I’m sure you did what you thought was best in the moment.” It didn’t make you feel a whole lot better, but you grasped onto her words in an attempt to calm yourself down. You knew there was still more information she probably needed from you. You took some deep breaths, closing your eyes. A warmth spread its way through your palms, and you realized that the agent had put her hands in yours, giving them a reassuring squeeze. You held onto them like an anchor point. “Can I ask you a few more questions, or would you like to take a break?”
In through your nose, out through your mouth. You opened your eyes and nodded. “I want to help in whatever way I can.”
Emily continued to ask you questions about your night and if you remembered anyone suspicious. She asked if there was anyone who was staring at her, to which you told her that would be half the people at the party. Alexa usually had a steady stream of boys coming and going, some she dated and some she didn’t.
You never really understood that. You barely liked one person, let alone multiple back to back or at the same time. But Alexa just had this appeal to her, and while some would disagree with you, you thought she had a big heart. A big, blind heart.
“Thank you so much for your time. Give me a call if you remember anything else, anything at all,” Emily said, handing you her business card, “and I’m so sorry for your loss.”
“Thanks. I will,” you answered dryly.

You woke up feeling out of sorts. You’d dreamt of her last night. Well, you’d dreamt of them. You saw Alexa laughing, and then you saw her sprawled on the ground, an image your mind had created all by itself, and then you saw Emily. Felt her soothing hand on your shoulder, her warm palms encasing yours.
Then you woke up. The whole thing made you feel weird and sad and tired.
You picked up the business card Emily had given you, twirling it in your hand. You hadn’t remembered anything new, but you felt safe around her. Noticed, important, like you mattered. You realized just how much you were lacking that from Alexa, from your other friends.
Simply calling her wouldn’t do, though. You wanted to see the woman that for once in your life made you feel like you didn’t have to pretend you were okay. She knew you had lost someone close to you, and didn’t expect you to keep it together.
What were you saying? You put the card down, remembering that you’d only spoken to her for all of 30 minutes and she was just doing her job. Nothing more, nothing less. You also had the wherewithal to know that you were probably only grasping at any minute display of affection since you’d just lost the one person you so desperately wanted it from but could never get it. It made you feel pathetic and angry.
God you were also just so tired.
Classes were not going to happen, so you just laid back down, hoping to be swept into another dream.
# # # # # # # # # # # # #
A knock at the door woke you up. You weren’t sure what time it was, but you didn’t really care as you walked to the door.
Without looking through the peephole, you eked the door open. Emily was standing there along with another agent you’d seen at the crime scene.
“Hello. Y/N, right?” the blond asked. You nodded. “My name is Jennifer Jareau, and I believe you’ve met Emily.”
Emily smiled at you and you forced a small smile back. “What can I do for you?”
You invited them in and they asked you a few more questions. However, you were only half paying attention to what they were saying, and more paying attention to the way the two women were interacting. You’d sensed a tension the minute they walked in, but it seemed to be one sided. You figured it out by about the eighth time Emily glanced over at Jennifer. You recognized the look in her eyes: a mixture of love and hurt. You’d seen it too many times in the mirror not to pick up on it. But what really caught your eye was how many times Emily’s gaze traveled down to Jennifer’s hands. Specifically her left one with a shiny diamond on it. One look at Emily’s hand, and well, it wasn’t too difficult to put the rest together.
“Thank you again for your time,” Jennifer said, shaking your hand. Emily was slower to move, making eye contact with the other agent, some message you were not privy to passing between them. Jennifer gave you a tight lipped smile and left, but Emily stayed.
“I wanted to give you this,” Emily explained, holding out her hand. There was a small necklace in it, one you recognized immediately. “She was still wearing it and I thought you might want it back.”
You took it out of her hand, admiring the small heart pendant that dangled at the end. You’d bought it for Alexa for her 21st birthday. Her last birthday. “Thank you so much,” you said as you started to tear up. Just when you thought you’d cried yourself dry.
“Of course.” You thought Emily was going to leave after that, but she lingered a moment longer. You looked up at her, and she bit her lip, probably trying to decide if she should ask her next question or not. “She wasn’t your best friend, was she?”
You gave a weak smile, dropping eye contact. “That depends. Are you asking her or me?”
“I’m asking you.”
“No, she wasn’t. She meant more to me than that. But I never meant more to her. I sometimes wondered if I even meant that much to her,” your voice wavered.
“I’m sure you did,” Emily tried to reassure, but you weren’t buying it.
“Hope so,” you muttered. Looking back up at Emily, you held her eyes this time. “What about you and Jennifer?”
Her response was immediate. “What?” She sounded shocked, but you could tell she was trying to play it off.
You offered a single laugh. “I may not be a genius FBI analyst or profiler or whatever, but I know a hurting gay when I see one.”
Her mouth was still open, like she was going to try to come up with an excuse, but instead she just sighed. “That obvious?”
“Clearly not to Jennifer.” You shrugged. “Looks like I’m not the only one to lose someone recently.”
“It’s not the same thing,” Emily shook her head.
“You don’t need to downplay your pain,” you told her. “I know how bad that hurts. Why do you think I left that party early?”
A look of understanding flashed through her eyes. “A constant stream of guys…” Emily quoted your from earlier.
“Yeah,” you shrugged again. “Sometimes it’s just too hard to watch. Sometimes it’s just too hard to listen. When she’d come back to me crying over a break up when I was sitting right there… it’s painful. And that night I just couldn’t do it anymore. Couldn’t watch her waste her time on another guy who was going to hurt her. So I left. Look where that got me,” you mumbled the last part.
Emily gave a sad, bitter laugh. “She asked me to be her maid of honor.”
You sighed with her. “I’m sorry.” You had barely noticed the tear that escaped her eye before she forcefully brushed it away.
Something changed in her demeanor when she realized a tear had escaped, speaking faster as she headed towards the door. “No, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t be telling you this. You already have a lot on your plate, and I don’t need to be unloading my personal issues on you. Again, I’m sorry, I will make sure-”
“Emily,” you cut her off, grabbing her arm and turning her towards you as she was about to reach for the doorknob. You weren’t sure what you’d been planning on doing once you stopped her, and the first thing you thought to do was hug her. You pulled her in close and wrapped your arms around her. She seemed shocked, but put her arms around you like it was the most natural thing in the world for the two of you to be doing.
You don’t know how long you stood there, but you would’ve stayed there forever if you could. The warmth and safety of her arms was something you’d never really experienced before.
When she pulled back from your embrace, you realized you’d both been silently crying. Her fingers traveled over your jaw, and her thumbs brushed away your tears. Your faces were only inches apart, but something in the back of your head told you that it wasn’t the right time.
Instead, you leaned forward and kissed away her tears, pressing your lips to her cheekbones. You felt her eyelashes on your face, a feeling you tried to commit to memory. A feeling you never got to experience with Alexa. One you never would.
“Y/N,” she whispered. You heard everything in the way she said your name, a warning that no matter how badly the two of you wanted this right now, it wasn’t a good decision.
“I know,” you whispered back, resting your forehead on hers, “Just please. Please let me live in my head for a little while longer.”
You stood there for a few more moments, her hands cupping your face and your hands on her back before she completely pulled away. “I will make sure we do everything we can to find the man who did this.”
“I know,” you repeated. “Thank you, Emily.”
She offered another small smile, but this time it felt a bit more sincere. With that, she left to continue fighting the monster that had ripped the earth out from under you.

Three more days and another victim later, the case was closed. Emily and her team had caught the bastard, putting him away for good.
You felt like you owed it to her, to the whole team, to go down to the local station they were set up in and thank them.
The moment you walked in, Emily spotted you. She put down whatever pictures and maps were in her hand, and rushed over to you. Without exchanging a word you embraced, similarly to how you’d done a few days ago, although much shorter this time as you were in public.
“We got him.” Her voice was assured and her lips curved in just the smallest way as she studied your face.
“I don’t know if I could ever thank you enough,” you told her. You looked over her shoulder to the conference room she’d just abandoned, catching the majority of the other members looking your way. “Is that your team?”
Emily turned around to follow your gaze, most of the others looking away as she did so. “Um, yes. That is them.” You couldn’t exactly figure out what subtle meaning was in her tone of voice, but ultimately chose to ignore it.
“Can I… um, well, can I talk to them? I want to thank them,” you quickly explained. Emily turned around to give you a shy smile.
“Sure,” she agreed, heading towards the conference room. You figured that was your cue to follow her, so you did, trialing close behind her.
She pushed open the doors and introduced you. Of course, they all knew who you were as you’d been a mess when you showed up on their crime scene, and had apparently been a ‘big help’, which the tallest man with a stern face, told you.
“Oh, I didn’t really do anything,” you waved him off. “You did all the hard work, which I wanted to thank you all for. It means a lot that you were here and able to close this case. So thank you.”
“You’re welcome,” a tall, strong-built man replied. “Happy that we could help.”
“But a lot of the credit should go to Emily,” a thin man with curly hair stated, a small smirk on his face, “She really did most of the work.”
Emily opened her mouth to protest as she gave both men a dangerous side eye, to which all they did was fail to suppress a smile. You stopped her before she could refute, “Well, thank you.” The message was broad, directed towards everyone, but your eyes lingered on Emily.
She gave you a single nod, and you quickly glanced around the room at the agents that helped get justice for Alexa before heading out the door. You looked back at Emily before you left, her eyes following you out while the two tall men behind her were passing knowing looks. You caught a glimpse of the blonde agent staring at the whole interaction, then biting her lip and looking away. You looked back towards Emily and the two male agents, the bald one shaking his head in what you could only guess was amusement, something you felt a little flattered about. Again, you weren’t a profiler, but you could read the classic signs of friends teasing friends over something like a crush. You hoped your brain wasn’t too foggy from the whirlwind that your life had become to mistake those signs for something they weren’t.
You were just getting into your car and pulling the driver’s side door shut when the passenger side swung open. Emily plopped down in the passenger seat of your car, quickly shutting the door. Surprised to see her, you just sat there like a fool looking at her.
She glanced over at you, biting her lip, a little bit of mischief in her eyes. “Are you going to drive or should I?”
In response, you finished shutting your door and started the car. “What took you so long?” you teased. “Was it Jennifer?”
“Let’s not talk about Jennifer,” Emily responded, a level of conviction in her voice you hadn’t heard yet.
“No, let’s not,” you agreed. Let’s not talk at all. You leaned across the console, bringing her face to yours with a hand on her cheek. She kissed you back, deeply. Oh what it was like to kiss someone you had feelings for, and not only kiss them, but have them kiss you back. You hadn’t realized just how starved you’d been of this feeling.
You pulled back first, needing to get some air back in your lungs. You plopped back down in your chair a little dazed.
Emily wetted her lips. “I know you wanted to do that before. Why’d you wait?”
“I waited to help you. To help get justice for Alexa,” you briefly explained, pulling out of the parking lot. “I know how important it is to have a clear head.”
“And now?”
“The investigation is over, isn’t it?”
“It is,” Emily confirmed.
“Then I am done waiting. That was the biggest mistake I ever made with her. I waited to tell her until she… until it was too late. I’m never going to do that again. Never.” It was a promise you intended on keeping.
“I did the same thing,” Emily shared, her voice getting quieter.
“I know. So let’s both just agree to be honest and forward with what we want,” you suggested.
“And what is it that you want?”
“You,” you confessed.
The drive from the precinct to your apartment was short, and you were there within the next couple minutes or so.
Taking Emily’s hand, you led her up the stairs and through the door of your apartment. The moment you shut and locked it, Emily was there, pulling you close and kissing you with much more passion than she had before. You pushed off her blazer and started frantically working on the buttons of her dress shirt. You had to part for a moment, just long enough for her to pull your shirt over your head. You were going in to kiss her again, when she stopped you.
“Woah, woah,” she whispered. “Slow down. I want to savor every last moment of this.”
Her eyes tore down your figure, fingers brushing over your collar bones, down around the swell of your breasts and over your stomach. When they reached the top of your jeans, she looked up at you. “Are you sure this is what you want?”
“Yes.”
“I don’t… I don’t want to be pushing you to do something you’re not ready for yet. I don’t want you waking up regretting this because you still haven’t taken the time you need to grieve Alexa.”
“Let’s not talk about Alexa,” you copied what Emily had said about Jennifer earlier. “I want to be here with you. Will you let me be here with you?”
She slowly nodded, and the moment she did, you put your lips back on hers. They were soft, just a bit swollen, and she swiped her tongue across your bottom lip, asking for entry. You gave it to her without question, and did you best to resume the work on her dress shirt buttons. Your tongues tangoed as you finally got her shirt off her.
As you led her to your room, you were thankful you didn’t have to pass Alexa’s, and even though no one else lived in your apartment anymore, you shut the door out of habit.
# # # # # # # # # # # # #
You woke up just before the early morning sun, drinking in the sight of the sleeping woman next to you. Your legs were tangled in the sheets, arms wrapped around each other.
Even though you’d had the entire night to admire her body, you couldn’t keep yourself from looking over her in awe. The way her face looked so at peace when she was sleeping and the way her dark hair messily fanned around her head made her look too perfect to be real. Everything that happened must’ve been a figment of your imagination, and the little solace you found in her felt like it was going to evaporate with your dreams.
And in a way, it was.
Once she woke up, she’d fly back across the country and go back to working her job like she’d never even met you. Maybe she hooked up with girls all over the country. She didn’t really strike you as that type, but you didn’t really know her.
The universe was playing a cruel joke on you. When you had the chance to spend years with the girl you were in love with, you didn’t have the guts to tell her how you felt, and now that you did, you only had a day or so with her. But in the end, both would leave. Both would be out of your life forever.
You’d been so caught up in these thoughts that you hadn’t noticed Emily peek her eyes open. The sun had just started shining through the blinds, and she squinted against the light. She was also able to see the wet streaks glinting against your skin.
That jolted her awake, sitting up on her elbow. “Hey,” she soothed, cupping your face, “What’s going on?”
You placed your hand on top of hers and wiped at your tears with the other. “You’re perfect,” you told her, voice barely above a whisper, “And you’re leaving. Everyone leaves.”
Instead of responding, Emily tucked you under her arm and held you while your wept. She whispered sweet nothings into your hair and cradled the back of your head. You held onto her like she was the only thing keeping you together, keeping the withering pieces you called yourself from crumbling completely.
But, as you’d said, at some point she’d have to go. She’d have to pick up her things and head back to her life. You were going to have to figure out how to manage on your own.
Once you’d calmed down enough, you apologized to her. She told you that she was there for you, and that you’d always have her number, which helped you feel a little better. Just as she was finishing putting on her clothes and heading toward the door, you said, “You know it’s not too late to tell Jennifer your feelings, right?” Emily gave you a sad look, one that told you it was too late, but you persisted. “She’s only engaged, and engagements can be broken. I saw the way she looked at you yesterday.”
“What do you mean? I thought you said she was oblivious?” Emily countered.
“True, but I was paying a lot more attention to you that day,” you informed her, which made her lips turn up. “But I’m talking about back at the precinct. As I was leaving and you were looking at me, and those two male agents were making eyes about the whole thing, I saw how she looked at you. She was jealous, and I think a little sad too. I’m just telling you that the worst thing that could happen if you tell her is she says no. The worst that could happen if you don’t tell her is you miss out on a life with her. Or before you know it, she’s getting hurt in the field and you end up right back here, just like me. Please, Emily. You have a chance to go for it, to tell her how you feel, something I was too stupid not to take advantage of when I could. Do it before it eats away at you any longer.” It was a plea by the time you finished.
Emily had never looked at you with pity before that moment, but there was a hint of the feeling in her eyes when you finished, like she thought you were desperate or naive. And, maybe you were, but you also thought that some of the pity might have been for herself.
You stood up out of bed, and approached her. She was standing frozen in the doorway, and the look of pity disappeared when you whispered, “It’s not too late.”
Emily pressed her lips to yours, in a slow, delicate way, one that felt like a goodbye. When she pulled back, her eyes were still closed and she barely spoke against your lips. “I hope you’re right.”
You looked deep into her eyes once she finally opened them, trying to remember the shape and the color, and how it felt to get lost in them. But then they were gone again, replaced by the hair on the back of her head as she walked away. She gave you one last small, sad smile before walking out the door of your apartment. That, you knew, would be it.

~11 months later~
Voicemail from: Emily Prentiss
“Hey Y/N. It’s me, Emily. I know we haven’t talked since the last time I saw you, and I know this phone call is kind of out of the blue… but, uh, I just felt like I should call you and tell you this myself. You were right. It wasn’t too late, and I told her. I told Jennifer how I really felt, and she broke off the engagement to be with me. We’ve been together now for about ten months, and um… well, this time around we both have rings on our fingers. So I guess what I’m really trying to say is thank you. Had it not been for you, or what you said to me that last night, I would have had to be the maid of honor at her wedding and watched while she married someone else, and the guilt would have eaten me alive. So thank you. You’ve changed my life. I hope that things are going well for you because you deserve everything that’s right in the world. Really, you do. And you always have my number if you ever need anything. Okay, um, I guess that’s all. Goodbye Y/N.”

Hey guys, sorry I haven’t posted much these past few days I’ve been a little ummm ✨depressed✨ but hopefully I’m back on track now, thankyou for your patience w me, I send kisses mwah ❤️
It didn't matter what you told them, they were never going to be okay with it. Recently someone new had moved next door to you, which was fine, or at least would have been if he wasn't a flirty blonde surfer with tattoos and abs. You had your boys, you didn't even notice him, but they did. They noticed every little stare he sent your way, how he had the nerve to greet you on the boardwalk as you were making out with one of them, how he found excuses to come over to yours when the boys were conveniently not there. And to be quite frank, they hated his guts. For many reasons, but the fact that he was extremely fond of you (to say the least) was probably top of the list. Sure, they trusted you it was the muscled, sunkissed surfer who had wondering eyes and a cocky attitude that they didn't trust, it was only a matter of time before they lost their shit.
Which happened to be tonight...when they pulled up he was exiting your house, a toolbox in hand and you on the other. Though your attention was brought to them the minute their roaring bikes subsided and, to their amusement, you abandoned the man beside you in hopes of greeting your boys with kisses and hugs, which they happily accepted with smirks and passionate touches. Maybe they could let that go, he was obviously helping you fix the leaky sink in your kitchen, maybe, just maybe they could have let that go. But, the minute they walked in your place it reeked of his scent, he was everywhere, and he was on you.
Vampire instincts took over, you were their mate, the love of their lives, and another mans scent enveloped you like a blanket, all they could see was red and all they could feel was jealousy, and a deep rooted possessiveness over you that had been toyed with.
***
"He's just a friend!"
"Friends don't look at you like that (y/n)!"
"Well, what do you want me to do David? He's my neighbor."
"Maybe we've just gotta remind you of your place."
He sent you a dark look and you peered over to the other guys who had opted to stay out of the argument but deemed that they were on Davids's side regardless. David's hands went to grab you, pulling you against him, a gloved hand coming up to rest on your cheek -
"If he's not gonna get the message, then maybe we've gotta give him a little extra reminder that you're ours only."
The minute the words left his lips your body tensed, immediate dirty thoughts contaminating your mind and body -
"I've got an idea."
Marko looked at you expectantly, a thumb in his mouth and a smirk quirking at the corner of his lips, mischievousness was written in his eyes and you took a deep breath as you waited on his next words -
"I say we mark you up."
Admittedly you'd thought he meant hickies, though the look he shared with David told you otherwise, they shared a knowing, sinister stare, eyes clouded with wickedness as they turned their attention back on you. At once it seemed the boys surrounded you, Dwayne was behind you caressing your sides, while Marko and Paul made it a team effort to undress you, and David watched with a smirk, taking a seat on the end of the bed. Once the boys had their fun pinching and teasing you David made his way over, standing in front of you, eyes raking over your bare form, unconsciously you attempted to cover yourself just the slightest, the gazes of four men on you having an effect over you that you didn't want to admit out loud. Hands came around your body to stop the actions though, Dwayne's lips on your shoulder and neck as he attempted to stop any insecurity seep in -
"You're beautiful, don't worry."
His sweet praises were met with a hard look from David, who had other plans in mind apparently. Gesturing to the bed, both Dwayne and yourself headed over, laying comfortable with your back to his chest, while David leaned over you, a thumb and finger holding your jaw in place as your eyes met his -
"Yeah don't worry about it sweetheart, You'll soon know your place is with us and us only...hmm?"
There were many ways you could have defended yourself, though words appeared to leave your vernacular entirely as you processed the situation, Marko walking over to you and sinking to his knees with ease. You leaned back against Dwayne's chest, his lips whispering praises and sins as Marko's tongue worked along you, using his spit as lube and digging his nails into your thighs, enough to hurt, but not break the skin. Paul was impatient, hands shifting from his lap to your body in seconds, pinching and teasing your nipples and any exposed skin he could get to. His leg moves up and down excitedly, the state of you displayed out on Dwayne as Marko was between your legs having him yearning for his own pleasure. David watched, dark eyes luring over your vulnerable state. Your peak was approaching quickly, having the four of them desire you so badly, Marko's mouth working against you in every which way he knew you loved, Paul's hands all over you, and Dwayne's deep, sultry voice low in your ear -
"I'm gonna cum, please don't stop I'm gonna -"
"You can only cum if you're loud for us."
You whined and moved your hips against Marko's mouth, adding that bit more of extra friction that had your head falling back onto Dwayne's shoulder and your legs twitching with anticipation -
"He'll pull away if you're not loud for us (y/n). Let us hear, let...him hear you. "
You did as told, letting out a string of moans, whines, and whimpers as Marko helped you through it, holding your hips and legs still as you convulsed and shook underneath him. Dwayne kissed your neck, teeth grazing the area, and Paul went about letting himself free and stroking himself as he watched you come undone, Marko eating up every little bit of you he could get until you had to physically pry him away with your hands. As you came back to your senses you looked over to David, who yanked Marko from in between you harshly, lips in a dirty smirk as he leaned down to whisper in your ear -
"I'm gonna fuck you. And when I fuck you I want you to be so loud the neighbors hear you, I'm gonna have you feeling so full you'll feel me inside you for weeks after, can you do that for me? Can you be loud for me?"
The nod you gave him came eagerly, more so than you'd care to admit, and your heart hammered in your chest as he freed his cock from its restraints and stroked himself a few times, the action having you moaning out loud purely because of how hot he looked doing it, he teased your entrance, dipping in slightly only to pull away, teasing you and loving your reactions as he did so, you could hear Marko and Paul's snicker from beside you, how needy and desperate you were amusing them -
"What do you want (Y/n)?"
His tone mocked you, your needs painfully obvious and the smell of sex heavy in the air -
"I need you -"
"Need me to what?"
You threw your head against Dwayne's shoulder, once again, in frustration, his lips moving to kiss the side of your head and murmur to you how you weren't gonna get anything until you said it out loud -
"I need you to fuck me David...please."
Your eyes pleaded with him and he took pity on you, your body slick in sweat and aching for him, he could never resist you. Without breaking eye contact he situated himself deep inside you, the stretch eliciting a moan, and your hands reaching to hold Dwayne's in support. David set a rough pace, hips meeting yours in a bruising hold, his hands went to your thighs, holding them over his shoulders and the angle had your back arching and eyes rolling to the back of your head if it weren't for Dwayne holding you still you're sure you'd be thoroughly fucked into the mattress of your bed.
“Do I feel good kitten? Can anyone else fuck you like this?”
Humming, you used your feet to bring David deeper into you, the thickness of his cock inside you must be what ecstasy feels like. He didn’t need, or even want an answer from you, the pure look of rapture on your face told him everything.
You were conscious enough to move your hand behind you to play with Dwayne who grunted in your ear and moved his hips up enough to give you access to the bulge in his jeans, Paul and Marko were either side of you, touching themselves to a similar pace David was fucking you at, it was hard to concentrate, your eyes switched from Dwayne's side profile to David above you, to Paul and Marko stroking themselves, their pre-cum dripping onto your stomach.
Paul was the first to finish himself off, having been worked up enough from watching you get pleasured, his cum dripping out deliciously from his cock, painting your stomach, he used a finger to scoop some up and bring it to your lips, an action that would seem disgusting and unappealing otherwise, but at the moment was erotic and sexy. Marko was soon after, his cum coming out in spurts and once again falling onto your stomach with Pauls, decorating it with his own seed and scent. David's hips sped up, his high approaching and using you to get him there, his hands let go of your thighs, letting them fall to the side of him as he leaned above you with a hand supporting his weight and set a brutal pace, you couldn't focus your attention on Dwayne anymore, his cock now set free by himself and him taking over your previous actions of jerking him off. Your second orgasm hit you suddenly, the coil in your stomach had been so tightly wound for ages you forgot about the snap of it, and once it did you shook uncontrollably, lips screaming out a mantra and curses and moans and a mix of all the boys names, you couldn't think straight or feel anything over than the warm shock waves of pleasure raking through your body.
David pulled out of your spent body, finishing himself off on your skin and staining it with his cum, in a moment Dwayne had you underneath him, his cock inches above your face and you salivated, opening your mouth unconsciously, but he didn’t give you the pleasure of sucking him off, instead he came all over your face and neck, the final touch to their marking of you.
Their scent was embedded in you, their touches still lingered on your skin, and their cum lay thickly on your body, the most possessive part of all of this was having you smothered in them, not only that, but you’re sure, with how loud you were, that your neighbour and the rest of Santa Carla was all too aware of what exactly went down, though it wasn’t in you at the moment to care. Your legs were numb in spent stimulation, your eyes drooped with exhaustion, your mind couldn’t focus on anything, David had fucked you out -
“we love you babe, you know that right?”
All you could manage was a soft smile and a nod, Paul went to hold you and cuddle into your side, actively avoiding the mess all over you, Marko went to the other side of you, while Dwayne went into the bathroom and started you a bath, David just peered down at you, lighting a cigarette -
“Good. And I hope he knows it too.”
“Did Dwayne give you hickies?”
Paul’s finger poked around at your neck and you watched his face break out in a grin -
“He didn’t I -”
You felt the spot Paul was touching suddenly hurt as he put a little pressure to it, a gasp escaping your lips -
“DWAYNE!”
