Hello! Mind if I send in a request? How about some headcanons for the reader making cute little plushies for the overblot squad?

SUMMARY: You decide to make plushies for the overblot squad. How do they react?

WARNINGS: None that I am aware of!

COMMENTS: ANON I want you to know that this prompt randomly smacked me over the head at like 10 pm a couple nights ago and I have not been able to get it out since even though I haven’t been able to write until now. I hope you enjoy it!!

Riddle absolutely loves it, please don’t mistake his silence for displeasure. He thinks it is skilfully made and quite adorable, really! He’s just… a little concerned. Does making a plush toy of the Queen herself count as sacrilege…? He’s racking his brains for any rule or law that would prohibit this adorable little toy’s existence, yet none come to mind. Does that mean he gets to keep it…? He really hopes so.

After a few days of diligent research into the matter, he determines that keeping such a cute thing is not against the law, and is overjoyed to find that he gets to keep it. After some deliberation, he decides to leave it on his desk - out of view from Cater, who would almost certainly want to take some “cammable pics” for Magicam. This way, the toy can sit on his desk and remind him of his studies… and also of you. Almost every time he sits down, he finds his eyes wandering to it and can’t help but smile.

Heh, this is kinda cute. He doesn’t mind the plushy at first - it’s cute, but he finds the expression on your face as you give it to him much cuter. Of course he’ll keep it - it’s soft and squishy enough to be a pillow, so he’s eager to try it. Especially if it means skipping class.

As he attempts to fall asleep next to said plushy, however, he realises something - the plushy smells like you. He’s a beastman, with a heightened sense of smell. Even if the plushy doesn’t smell at all, it still smells of you. As a result of this realisation, the plushy now lives on his bed. He begins to find it frustrating to sleep without it, although he’d never be caught dead sleeping in the grounds with it. You’ll just have to replace it then instead.

Prefect, this is magnificent! Imagine the money you could make off of these! Hm? What do you mean they aren’t for sale-? It’s just for him…? Oh. Give him a moment, his brain just crashed. He doesn’t quite know how to respond. He loves it, and he loves you even more, but that doesn’t mean his brain is capable of forming a response, especially when you give him a big smile. Give the poor guy a minute.

He leaves it on his bed. This man definitely cuddles it while he sleeps. He gets easily distressed when it isn’t there. After a rough day at work or school, he’ll talk quietly to the plush until he feels better. If worse comes to worst, he’ll hug the toy and cry as he needs to. He loves it so much. It’s almost a new friend to him - something he finds great comfort in.

(The Tweels are no longer allowed in his room. When they inevitably come in anyway, he swears them to secrecy.)

Is that the Sorcerer of the Sands… as a plushy? For him? Thank you, Prefect. Jamil doesn’t have a whole lot of plushies - he never particularly saw the point. But he’s absolutely charmed by this one — and by you. And the fact that it’s the Sorcerer of the Sands? You definitely knew him well. He’s smiling and shaking his head as he takes the plushy. You’re so cute, it’s so endearing.

At first, Jamil isn’t quite sure what to do with it. He can’t quite sleep if it’s on his bed - it reminds him of you too strongly - so he settles with leaving it on his desk. Occasionally, in his rare free time, he’ll sit at his desk and play with it, like a grown adult finding a lost but treasured toy again. It always reminds him of you. When life calls him back, he’ll set the plushy aside for now and get to work. It will be waiting for him.

Just like you, he hopes.

Prefect! He didn’t know you could sew. It looks amazing! It’s for him? You’re very sweet, he’s very in love. He loves the plush toy so much, no matter if it has any imperfections. It was made by you, of someone he looks up to, for him. He hates to sound like Rook, but to him, that makes it the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen.

He’s so proud of you. Vil is taking that plush EVERYWHERE. It’s always in his bag no matter where he’s going. Anytime someone questions it, he shuts them down immediately. No one will dare slander something that his beloved made for him. In fact, he uses every opportunity to sneak the plush into photos for Magicam. Whether he’s holding it, it’s nearby or in the background, it’s always there. People start looking for it in all of his pictures.

If you’re okay with the plush being online, that is.

If you’d rather it stay private, he’d kiss your forehead or hand and tell you he understands. The plush toy then stays in his room, on his vanity table. Looking at it makes him feel like a teenage schoolgirl. He supposes it’s alright to indulge in such silliness occasionally, hm?

Wow, you made him a marketable plushy? Of one of the Great Seven? He wasn’t expecting you to have such a normie hobby. Oh, but that’s not a bad thing. He’s extremely grateful, but extremely awkward - does this mean he has to get you something now? What kinda thing would you like? Ah, wait, was that not the appropriate thing to say? Ortho’s giving him the “shut up and be polite” look.

Please don’t be offended if it seems like he doesn’t like it when he receives it. He actually really, really does. He decides to make it his new “gaming buddy”, making him a little custom headset and fake controller and sitting it next to him while he games. He’s stunned to silence when the lil guy’s presence improves his gacha rolls by, like, a LOT. He was already taking pretty good care of it, but now he’s being WAY more careful with it.

Occasionally, Ortho will catch him talking to it. Idia genuinely loves the plushy - and you - a lot. Even if Idia doesn’t quite know how to show it, Ortho does - by recording Idia’s conversations with the toy and showing them to you. Idia is mortified.

Oh? My child of man made me this… adorable plushy? My, how generous of you. He’s absolutely in love. If you thought he was attached to his tamagotchi, just wait and see. Malleus is NEVER letting the plushy leave his presence. Lilia had to take it away to clean it once and it stormed for a week. He loves it so much - and you so much more.

He absolutely treats the plushy as a human, and asks the others to do the same. Occasionally, he (or rather, Lilia using his phone to assist him) will send you a photo of him and the plushy doing something together, such as having a tea party or a picnic. Almost always with the caption, “Dear Prefect, would you care to join us? Kind regards, Malleus.”

Riddle probably didn’t meet you, or properly get to know you to be more accurate, until after his overblot. His impression on you for so long was just “small, most likely around my height, but very speedy”.

If you’re in Heartslabyul he most likely had you help around with more outdoor activities like cutting the hedges and gathering the hedgehogs since you can do more work and cover more ground.

But after officially becoming his s/o, that was when he discovered that GOSH you are strong.

He walked to a secluded hallway towards the library when he saw you getting picked on by a bunch of savanaclaw students, all of them double, no, triple your size.

Just when he was about to intervene you struck one of them up the chin and sent him flying.

Guy just stood there like 🧍‍♂️ the entire time.

“[Name], what in the Great Seven happened here!?” you heard him yelling from behind you and you thoroughly explained even if he witnessed the entire one sided brawl.

He helped you clean yourself up and take care of any injuries if you got any while giving you a VERY thorough scolding.

No matter how tired, exasperated, and angry he starts to sound while giving you a scolding, he doesn’t mean it. Although he cares about you and his’s reputations, they don’t come first to your safety and that’s Riddle’s number 1 priority.

The type to get EXTREMELY flustered when he complains about the once in a blue moon event of running late for class and you settle on picking him up off the ground and sprinting to each others’ classrooms.

Straight up almost blacks out on the spot, but both of you weren't late, so in the end he didn't complain <3

Epel Felmier !!

Your number 1 supporter when you (reluctantly) have to fight against a student.

WILL go feral once one of them seriously hurts you though. One of them could’ve just given you a scratch but Epel will return that tenfold for you.

I don’t think it needs to be said about how often you two get into scoldings with Vil and the punishments that occur.

So now you both settle with just doing heavy-lifting for events such as the VDC, mostly you though since Epel’s busy with performance practice.

When it was VDC season and his group had to pass by the stage where you worked to build, dude literally has to fight for his life not to become redder than the apples back at home when he sees you picking up the construction materials with ease.

Especially with Ace there 💀

As much as he wants to witness you fight even more he’d rather not get himself and you in any more hot water with Vil.

Definitely wants to help you and would rather spend his time working on the stage than all this dance practice, especially with you!!

If you pick him up and start running he’d be scared at first then start to enjoy the feeling of the wind hitting his face, carefree laughter belonging to you two filling wherever you are.

Sometimes, though, he gets jealous. He’s the same height and stature as you, but how are you stronger than him? You have to give him some reassurance or time alone based on his mood, but treat him to something after to not make him feel guilty over being jealous and to take his mind off those thoughts!

Lilia Vanrouge !!

You just surprise the old man every time you’re with him.

Like Riddle, Lilia didn’t have much of an opinion at you at first, you just kind of blended in the crowd for him before you both met.

But the first official time he saw you properly was during alchemy class when your cauldron was mere seconds away from exploding, you managed to pick it up and somehow toss it out the window.

Thankfully, it didn’t damage the sports field nor hit anyone, but you had to sit through a 2 hour lecture from Crewel because the two scenarios could’ve happened.

Malleus and Lilia were in the class with you and witnessed the entire spectacle, the smaller fae couldn’t help but babble on to the briar prince about how a tiny human could’ve picked up a cauldron that you were barely larger than, the only thing that Malleus said was how it reminded him of Lilia before letting him continue rambling.

The next day the tiny fae approached you for the first time, effortlessly making a conversation with you, and everything else that happened in the progression of your relationship is history.

He’s really amused as to how a human like you could even exist, you have no special blood right? Like ones of fae, beastmen, or mermen? No? Now you’ve just piqued his interest even more.

Your responses to his questions is just “I’ve just been like this since I was a child, maybe some things I did helped me build muscle”, and the interrogations continues.

After school Lilia likes having races with you, he soars through the sky while you ran as fast as you could on the ground. And to any student who knew of Lilia’s past (aka Silver, Sebek, and Malleus), they’d be in for a shock once they find out that most of the time it ended in a tie, even more if they were to witness one of those races for themselves.

Other students marvel at your strength but the diasomnia students pray to the Seven you’re strong enough manage to eat Lilia’s cooking.

If you do, the students look at you as if they’d made a scientific breakthrough, if you don’t, well they’re not surprised.

Book 7 thoughts(spoilers ofc👀)

God i finally caught up with this book i have been putting it off because lilia is one of my favorite characters I couldn’t handle seeing the implication that he’s going to die and the diasomnia family's reaction to it

But i finally recovered and steeled myself to be able to continue this chapter

God poor silver he definitely was going through it this whole book please give this man a break.

I teared up (and even cried) at all the moments he was crying on🥹 PLS NO MORE I HAVE NO MORE TEARS TO GIVE

gotta say i enjoyed knowing more about silver and sebek and how they get to know each other and how their relationship is like

I loved sebek's confrontation to silver when silver discovered the truth! It shows how much he cared. And honestly it was kinda funny silver crying and saying that lilia must have hated him and then sebek just goes

Gotta say tho diasomnia fans winning we get to know SO MUCH about them. I especially enjoyed getting all these chapters about lilia's past I’m so glad we get to see the things he went through!! The fact that he was involved in everyone's (from diasomnia) childhood and how he grew and changed his mindset on certain things🥺 i want to hug him he didn’t deserve all the hardships😔😔

Even though i cried multiple times i still enjoyed these parts of the book a lot and it showed me that there is still hope that things will get better. Looking forward for the next part(which will release this month) to see ignihyde's involvement on this book? Maybe?

HAHA i guess i haven't seen enough bad takes from the fandom about leona (albeit i definitely have seen some) so i get the impression that vil is mischaracterized more often on average. regardless, ive also seen a lot of fanfic characterizing vil as this emotionally constipated and constantly nagging narcissist who is incapable of showing affection and it makes me [rat clenches fist of rage]. im aware angst often draw out the worst part of a character for the feels, which in this case is vil's strict scrutiny BUT PLELALSLELADE IM SCREAMING MY TEARS ARE ON THE FLOOR.... how are you gonna ignore the scene in chapter 6 where vil literally moves past his stern housewarden persona in order to be vil schoenheit. not the actor, not the model, not the housewarden countless students look towards as a leader-- but vil schoenheit, friend of yours and ally. all to give epel, rook, and yoy; his beloved poison apple, his beloved hunter, and his beloved prefect, a hug and kiss.?? like. kuekd emfusjbfe.??? when he literally squeals for joy after getting his youth back from malleus? when he weeps as an old man? vil schoenheit IS an emotional person! he's an actor with responsibilities on his back, he's not gonna let others see him be anything but strict when the time isn't right! but the point is that he knows when to be soft and loving ESPECIALLY after his overblot!!! 3!&!$!!$!#! he cares so deeply for each and everyone of his pomefiore students and especially those closest to him-- his method of expressing his affection isn't just limited to the occasional praise or hug and kiss, he genuinely wants the best for you when he cares and he'll support you/offer help in achieving your best self! it's not just a byproduct of his need for perfection, but to love is to grow and change and metamorphosize from the flower to the succulent apple and he can see your potential. for the man who knows what it's like to never be enough, he knows you're more than. if only you try. if only you grasped your dreams with your bare hands because god does he dream of it for you. my point is that vil is genuinely one of the most loving characters, even if his ways aren't the most conventional or he may seem harsh. he's not heartless-- though im aware his reaction towards epels moment of emotional vulnerability in the vdc rehearsal gives off said impression, he's grown and changed. i doubt current vil would be so uncaring and stern still if you expressed hurt or discomfort over an austere sentiment he's said or done. if he knows it's what you need, he probably would take a softer and kinder approach. the same water that hardens the egg, softens the potato. he can learn, or perhaps he already understands that some people reach their potential differently-- especially as someone who has lived in the entertainment industry his whole lived, he may be accustomed to the unforgiving nature of its expectations BUT HES NOT ANYMORE!!! and he knows others lead a normal life outside of it, so the same approach taken to him likely wouldn't be suited for them! he won't ever stop trying to suggest betterments for your health, appearance, and outfits but if you express different sentiments he wouldn't take to forcing them onto you!! he just wants you to live your best life, because from what he knows, it brings you gratification and he WANTS you to succeed and be satisfied! im sorry i have a lot to feel about him, i just really despise seeing people overlook the caring trait of his in favor of cheap angst. for someone who has rook as his favorite i really cannot shut my zest fest mouth up about vil <|:-( love his ass

god yeah this is so true....i think about him cheering and crying after malleus restored his youth literally every day of my life he sounds so happy and relieved!!!! had to replay the scene of him kissing rook and epel and yuu like twice to process everything bc i was so !!! at him showing emotion it was so. and like him crying as an old man is mostly played for laughs but it's also so. holy shit. You look at the crowd of smiling faces, joyful chatter fills the air as festive music plays in the background.

But for some reason, you can’t bring yourself to get drunk on the happy occasion too. You feel abnormally tired, as if an imaginary weight has settled its home on your shoulders. Truthfully, you’ve been feeling fatigued for the past months, biting your tongue and forcing yourself to go through life because who else will make Grim attend his class?

Really, someone should award you an oscar. This mask of yours has been ingrained through memory, the false pretence of everything is fine.

Weirdly enough, said mask has been slowly cracking. The proof lies in your inability to enjoy the festival. To be fair, you did help in saving six individuals from their own overblot. Not a surprise, the alternative is death after all.

You didn’t ask for this.

You spend your nights crying in silence, grieving for your old life of familiarity. You were unjustly torn away from your routine, harshly shoving you into the arms of a stranger. Forced to adapt and survive, your mind pushes the events that occurred and focused on survival.

Once upon a time, you were intrigued by the concept of magic, but now you know better than to trust it. It’s volatile and it plays by its own rules, unpredictable and unstable. It is like walking on a tightrope with no safety net. Better to depend on your two hands, knowing what to expect and the worst-case scenarios that accompany it.

Standing at a distance, your friends (is it right to call them friends when they were the very ones that also hurt you?) laugh with the crowd, sparks shooting out of their pens. You really should wear a smile, it would be suspicious to see a frown on such an occasion.

The sea of stalls and people blended together, your stomach churning as the grape juice you drank felt more like overdue milk. Colours swirl in your sight as they blurred together, your brain foolishly wonders if someone is trying to split your skull open.

“Are you alright?”

Someone holds your hand, stabilising your swaying body. Their voice is rather familiar…

“Sorry, I was feeling rather nauseous,” you muttered, your free hand holding your heavy head. “Thank you, I think I am better now.”

A poorly crafted lie, you are definitely in no condition to act as carefree as your friends.

“Are you sure? You look rather pale.”

Your vision managed to clear up, revealing your saviour to be the student council’s president of the residential college, Rollo Flamme.

“I am fine, thank you for your help, Rollo.” You repeated, hoping he will leave you alone and be on his way.

“I apologise for being curt, but it’s not good to lie, (Y/n). You clearly do not seem to be in a good condition to stroll about the city,” Rollo politely replied. “Do you need to see a nurse?”

I wish it was that easy to cure me, you thought.

“I am probably worn out from all the walking I had to do, don’t worry about me!” your attempt at a lighthearted reply comes off more as weary.

“If you allow me, let me support you lest you fall or faint,” Rollo said. Was that a hint of concern? Or is it just him being responsible? For now, you considered it as the latter. Nobody should be worried about someone they will never meet again after all.

Not wanting to fall flat on your face, you accepted his offer. Holding his shoulder, both of you approached your schoolmates. Shooting off fireworks, the sounds of explosions erupted from their pens.

“Don’t apologise anymore, you will make me feel sad too…” Rollo wipes away your tears gently, worry in his eyes. His actions feel like a routine, as if he had comforted people before. How could he, someone that you hardly know, treat you like he understood your pain?

“It’s alright, nobody is dying,” he assures you, pulling you into a hug. “You’re in the City of Flowers, you are somewhere safe.”

You accepted the hug before breaking into tears again from the kindness of the action.

“I know grief when I see it…” he whispers. Maybe he thought you won’t hear it, but you did. You don’t pry for it is not your place to know.

You finally take in your surroundings, you two seemed to be in a quiet corner of the festival.

Nobody you know, that’s good.

“Maybe it is better if you seek medical help, or at the very least return to your living quarters. You are clearly not in the state to be out here.” Rollo calmly said, softness still evident in his tone.

“I am alright, I am only here for three days. I can’t just let this affect me.” You try to brush it off, not wanting your schoolmates to know of your condition.

The white-haired man looks at you, uncertainty in his eyes. “Very well, then let me escort you,” he stands up and offers you his hand, which you accept.

“Can you please not tell this to the others? I don���t want them to worry for me.” You said as the two of you made your way to your friends.

“I won’t, worry not. It is not my place after all,” Rollo replied. “But, if you will, would you be interested in hearing my personal opinion?”

You nod.

“I think your friends are fools for not noticing your pain.” He said.

This surprises you. You were definitely not expecting that answer. “You mean I need therapy?” you joke. It was not uncommon that a lot of people from your old life needed therapy.

“What I meant was that you have been through a lot. Even though I do not know what you experienced, I see fatigue in your eyes, the one that doesn’t go away through rest-” Rollo looked like he realised something. “Apologies, I spoke out of turn.”

“It is fine. I was the one who agreed on hearing your opinion anyway.”

The two of you were finally with your friends. You stood beside Malleus, smiling at the rowdy group. Is it a fake one or not, you don’t know. You’re too tired to care.

You hear Rollo advising Malleus to not simply use their magic, lest they hurt someone. You can’t help but to agree with this statement, but you choose not to voice it. After all, you are a friend of the future King of Briar Valley. You don’t want to piss Malleus off, not to mention that the rest of your friend group consists of magic users that use it daily in their lives.

You went up to Professor Trein, informing him that you will be sitting at a quiet corner of the street because you were tired. He hums in approval and you leave the respectable teacher.

You weren’t surprised to find Rollo joining you on the bench. After what happened, it would be natural to worry about someone that’s not in a stable condition, right?

“Thank you for helping me,” You sincerely said. “I am grateful for what you’ve done. I am feeling a lot better now, so you don’t need to worry about me.”

“It’s not a problem, it is my duty as the President anyway. I would not be a good host if one of the guests is not taken care of.”

Oh, he thought of you only as a guest. Despite the special treatment he gave you? You thought.

“Do you think that magic is a dangerous thing?”

You pretend to ponder upon this question despite knowing what your answer is, you just can’t bring yourself to say it out.

You open your mouth to speak, but no words fall out. You know what you want to say, yet you physically can’t. You don’t want to lie to yourself either, because the very fact that you are here in this world against your will is proof that you despise the thing.

You think back to what you’ve gone through the past few months. The near-death experiences, the unbearable name-calling that was normalised, the unreasonable demands from Crow-fucking-ley. The more you think, the more your blood boils, giving you the courage (or adrenaline?) to answer.

“I… I used to think it would be wonderful… But now? I have nothing but anger for the damned thing…” you don’t tell him your truth, you don’t feel that safe yet. Maybe in the future, who knows?

Your answer seemed to surprise him, perhaps he too was a kindred spirit?

He looks at his handkerchief, staring at it as if he had something to confess before letting out a sigh. Then, he tells you of a plan. A plan big enough to suck the wretched thing from this world, a plan to make everyone safer.

At first, you were unsure. You still care for your friends after all, you don’t want them to get hurt. Rollo assures you that it won’t harm your friends, it will only take away their magic.

The more you think about it, you realised that it was a good plan, it won’t gravely injure anyone. Sure they will feel tired and maybe a bit of pain, but it's for the greater good like what Rollo said! Nobody will overblot or be seriously injured from magic because there won’t be magic anymore!

You nod your head, agreeing to help him with this plan of his. You just hope it will go smoothly, NRC students are known to keep what they want after all…

he doesn’t get to interact with your helpers a lot but he’s extremely entertained by watching them do their own thing and dressing up

Ruggie doesn’t really care if he’e hungry enough, if you give him something then he’s shoving it in his mouth faster than either of you can blink

Riddle Rosehearts

In the following weeks of Riddle’s overblot, he was working to try to be a better leader to Heartslabyul. However, old habits don’t die very easily. You saw Riddle’s wrath once again when he scolded some students who had gotten into a fight and had promptly used his unique magic.

“OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!!” His voice resounded off the walls and the harshness of his voice brought awful flashbacks into your mind. Then, everything went black.

When you wake, Riddle is over your body, his large grey eyes were scanning over you panicked. When he asked what happened, you broke down and told him that you remembered his overblot and fainted.

Riddle’s guilt would skyrocket. He never intended to hurt so many people including one of his closest friends Trey and especially not you. Even after a few weeks he didn’t realize it would weigh so much on so many others.

Riddle would turn red from shame while hiding his face in the crook of your neck. As he starts to chant “I’m sorry”s over and over, he starts to sob shakily, also making you start to release the tears that were in your eyes.

Riddle takes care of you personally - brings you to bed, attempts to cooks for you, studies with you, anything he can do to gain your trust back.

“I- I’ll be better. A better person. For you, for everybody in Heartslabyul, for me.” Riddle was hiccuping from crying. You kissed Riddle’s cheek and stroked it, trying to wipe his tears from his face. “I know, Riddle. I can see you trying every day and you’re getting better and better.” It was true. You personally saw him interacting with students and knew his relationship with everyone was improving. With time, things will get a lot easier to process emotions and the feelings from that eventful day.

Leona Kingscholar

Leona’s practice session for Magift wasn’t going as planned. You noticed he was getting angrier and angrier with his poor plays while sitting on the sidelines.

When he finally had enough he grabbed the disc and turned it into sand, growling in anger. He shouted at his teammates and physically threatened them.

You felt your heart stop as your boyfriend continued to scream. The last thing you saw before falling was Epel’s shocked face as you hit the ground.

When you woke up, the team members were all circled around you, only to be scared away by Leona’s growling.

When you admitted you had PTSD from his overblot, he looked away in shame. The beastman didn’t say much - it’s not like he COULD say anything. He knew he was wrong at that moment but he was only frustrated at the game.

Leona tries to spend more time with you by pulling you into his arms when he naps. He mumbles softly about being sorry and telling you he loves you. You know that it’s a lot for him to even do that, so it means a lot to you.

As Leona held you in his arms, you couldn’t help but tighten your arm’s grip on his. “My little herbivore… I’m sorry..” It was a whisper. Almost quiet enough to the point of you not hearing it. Soon after, the soft rise and fall of his chest indicated he was asleep. Leona’s pride was high. He never expressed his feelings through words - but feeling his arms embrace you protectively, you knew how sorry he was and how regretful he was to make you feel so upset.

Azul Ashengrotto

It had been a few months since you’d seen Azul overblot. You figured everything had gone back to normal - you were dating steadily, which was going well, and Azul treated you well.

One day though, he lost his control. Under his own stress and when his business affairs weren’t going as well as planned, he blew up and you heard him scream at someone from the outside the VIP room - all too familiar to the yelling he did when he overblotted.

You felt stuck - your feet were planted outside of his office and your nerves got the better of your motor functions. You knew you loved Azul but that moment when you saw his insecurities and too much power getting a hold of him, you were truly scared. You barely remember registering any memories as things started to fade.

“Shrimpy wake up!!” You were suddenly being shaken about, earning a gasp from you. Azul sighed next to Floyd and Jade. He asked you what had happened - he found you outside his office in a daze.

Once you truthfully told him about your memories of his overblot his expression fell. Azul was emotional and his feelings of rejection would flare up. You would need to tell him you still love him because something in him will tell him you don’t.

Azul spoils you a bit and makes sure you are not present or in the area, working in the lounge only when he isn’t dealing with complicated contracts.

Azul is also happy you weren’t traumatized due to the fact you saw his octopus form - he was very worried about that possibility.

“Angelfish, tell me, what is it you want? Anything, I’ll give it to you, please just forgive me…” Azul tearfully grasped your hands in his, glasses fogging up. It was seldom at times you saw Azul break his smile. “A-Azul, you can’t just give me something to make me forget. I need to process this and I wouldn’t be surprised if other people need to, as well. Just… be there for me.” You spoke, rubbing his cheek with your thumb as your hand cupped his face. Azul freely let his tears run down his face. “Of course, angelfish. I promise.”

Jamil Viper

You were simply looking over at the view of the desert sand from the common room of Scarabia. It wasn’t long after Jamil’s overblot.

Things have changed in the dynamic of the dorm - him and Kalim were closer now that suppressed feelings could be free, Jamil gained the trust back from most if not all the members, and you both started dating.

The more you stared into the distance, the more it reminded you of that fateful day. Visions of the dark red stormy sky invaded your thoughts while you swore you could hear Jamil’s sinister laughter growing louder and louder.

Memories being hurled from the dorm to the cold desert sand invaded your senses as you fell to the ground.

When you opened your eyes, you flinched back when you saw Jamil so close to you, making his eyes look hurt. Jamil would surround you with soft pillows and a silk sheet he must have borrowed from Kalim.

Once he finally pries your feelings out of you after you don’t want to tell him the truth, Jamil looks pained. He didn’t want to hurt you.

Jamil would give you time to think, knowing how much alone time is valued. Whether you want him to give you space or spend time with him is up to you.

“I’m, I’m sorry, y/n…” his eyes dropped to look at the floor, ashamed. “I’ll give you some time alone to think about our relationship, if that’s what you want.” The weight he added to the bed was lifted as the raven haired boy started to walk away. “No, Jamil, please stay with me.” Your voice seemed to shock him. He turned and looked at you, surprised. “I like you for you. I know you were having a hard time, and it was scary for you too. We can get stronger together! So please… don’t leave me.” You pleaded, cursing your voice for sounding weaker than you intended. Jamil’s brown eyes softened and a smile, a genuine one at that, made its way to his face.

Vil Schoenheit

Surprise surprise, Vil was checking the internet search results to see who the most beautiful one of all was. Vil had recently shot a movie and the trailer had come out an hour prior.

When the phone had still said the name he dreaded, he threw his phone down in frustration, making you flinch. He didn’t even know you were in the vicinity, you were in the hallway looking into his room as his back faced you in his room.

When you spoke his name softly, he replied callously in his response, making you freeze. His demeanor was mean to say the least, his eyes looked tired and he just looked angry.

It reminded you all too much of his overblot, which happened a few weeks back. You slowly backed into a wall and started to whimper.

Vil would realize his errors quickly and come running to your aid. He coos and strokes your hair, telling you he was sorry for lashing out. When you tell him it reminded you of his overblot, guilt racks through him.

Vil hugs you tightly and apologizes over and over. He would definitely be one to spend an entire day devoted to spoiling you, taking you to your favorite restaurant, giving you personalized facials, and shopping with you.

Vil knows this won’t resolve the issue, but he’s going to let you know how much you mean to him and how sorry he is, over time.

Vil looked over your shaking form with trembling hands. His soft, slender hands came to grasp your own. “Y/N, Y/N please answer me..!” You could only look away. “Vil, it reminded me of your… your overblot! I’m sorry…” your tears flowed freely now, staining your cheeks. You always thought you looked ugly when you cried so this only felt like salt in the wound. When Vil looked at you now, his eyes were looking into yours, deeper into you than what you physically offered. “I… that must have been scary for you, Y/N. I’m truly, so sorry. You had to see an ugly side of me that I never want to come out again.”

Aah thank you so much for this ask!! Of course, I love to talk about my hcs,,, I wasn't sure if you meant more about the whole ob situation/the au, or the actual phantom that is with overblot Ace in the ff, so I'll say a bit about both and I hope I won't come off as too lengthy and random.

Sooo about the whole AU: I just really, really love time loop AUS, because I think they are a good reason to have a character go a bit crazy, as a threat (and a treat). In Ace's case, his UM (Which I friendly refer to as "Knight's of heart trial", or just Knight's trial) allows him to rewind time. Safely and realistically speaking, only of a few hours, but he can go up to around 9 months prior: he can technically rewing earlier than the start of every school year once he gains more control over his magic during the loops, but he quickly found out it's sort of useless.

It's just like when in a game you've already made certain choices so the outcome won't matter; he just doesn't know which "choices" affect the timeline, so he's like "Yea okay let's just go back to the beginning just in case".

Also, he can't really do it before the summer day when he unlocks his UM: yes, he retains his memories and whatever, but his magical ability gets resetted every loop, so he really can't do much (also, it's a spell, so if he die he will just,,, stay dead).

In the fanfiction, Ace had been at that for more than 20 years (he can go all the way back for a grand total of 24 times, like the hours in a clock; after that, his phantom will just take over) and he's just a tired old man lmao.

He really went through all the stages of edgy protagonist, from "We can do this!!!" > "I can do this" > "Actually nvm I hate this I'll just try random stuff" > "God I hate teenagers". So by the end of it all, I think he's like,,, tired but smug elder bro vibe.

In his last loop (which would be the 25th) he makes a pact with his phantom (the clown one I doodle sometime): He will forsake his body to him, but he needs to make sure both Yuu and Deuce can make it past the prologue battle with Grim safely. Phantom!Ace be like "You know they will slay you right lmao or I'll kill them" and OB!Ace like "Do your worst, I trust them".

Shipping wise, since I'm using the fic I wrote as a reference, Ace originally had a small crush on Yuu, that later ended up being a crush on Deuce, that later was just like... strong friendship and a matter of principle to keep em alive.

Some bullet points about my two darling OB!Ace and Phantom!Ace (as in, the Over Blotting Ace of the fanfic, and the Phantom looking Ace of the fanfic.):

Canon!Ace's personality is just like OB!Ace's at the beginning of the fanfic, maybe a little bit more snarky because Phantom is affecting him more, even if he has no idea or memories beside some very unsettling dreams

OB!Ace is definitely very tired TM and his one ray of hope is Lilia: he and Malleus can sort of get that something isn't right about Ace, but can't quite put their finger on what; having said that, he can share old man time with Lilia and they just sound like 60 years old or smthn. Everyone is puzzled.

Despite everything, he still hasn't managed to get a passing grade in Crewel's march exam.

He really dislikes Scarabia's chapter, because he doesn't get to be there (he figured out early in his runs that it will lead to a bad outcome, so it's better to stay put and out of the way); also, he loves to create mayhem during VDC. Has more likely made Vil overblot by himself around two or three times.

Spent a whole run ditching school and living his merry way travelling and learning new stuff and new spells, the most useful is one that allows him to look like a grown up.

Phantom likes Riddle, mostly because he loves his crying face. He isn't really bad per sè, he's like a jester type character that likes to cause problems on purpose. He isn't too fond of Azul, somehow, and of Octavinelle in general.

The two sometimes play chess together, but they both suck very very much at it, and anyway it's just like playing against yourself.

OB!Ace holds a certain dislike towards Sebek (I am writing something about it, too), but it's just how a 20+ yo may dislike a youngster being loud on a train.

If I were to name Phantom as an oc, his name would be Jolly (cause joker cards are called jolly in italian, and as a pun with him being very happy go lucky in a messed up way)

Ace looks at him with a blank expression “dude. I don’t even know how it happened. I’ve dealt with riddle collaring me, I’ve dealt with grim setting everything on fire. I’ve had to help with more than one overblot. But somehow. This tiny flipping magicless student rambling about numbers and letters left me unable to leave. Every time i tried to she offered me cookies or pouted. I don’t get it man”

Gosh I rambled for way longer than intended and I swear she has more personality traits than “number go brr” but gosh if this hasn’t been living in my head rent free

allen: hayden, is that true?

avery: i asked others why do they think that we're having another test soon and they all said that it was hayden who told them. and he also asked some of them to help him with something, making them too busy to remember about your birthday.

avery: i even went to rsa, hoping to find you celebrating your birthday with other students, but that guy from your club told me that they don't have enough free time today.

hayden: i genuinely thought that we have to study for another test! it was my mistake and i'm sorry, but why do you think that i did it to make everyone forget about allen?

avery: because it's obvious to me that you want something from him.

avery: your relationship with him is too pure, even for romance novels that i usually read. it's so sweet, it makes me want to throw up. i doubt that someone like you would actually fall in love with allen.

avery: you're just using him because he overblotted recently and you can manipulate him in any way you want, he's too tired to fight back.

Hello! I’m happy that you enjoyed the TWST x PMMM series! Most of my writing projects have taken a back seat due to work and since it’s currently the Ramadan season, I just don’t have a lot of energy to write anymore more than for work. I mean, it took me half a day to answer this ask. 

I definitely want to get back to writing for this crossover series and maybe even copied what I’ve written so far into my AO3 for easy reading and navigating but we’ll see. For now, I’m indulging whatever plot bunnies that come my way so I won’t stop writing altogether. 

So lay them on me, dude! Expanding the series is always fun. (Also, bear with me. This is gonna be a long post). 

@lionheartanotheraccount and I had discussed these actually on Discord! Some were pinned, some were not (I’m an idiot. I should have pinned all of our crossover texts!), so lemme explain what I still remember. Feel free to pinch in if I forgot something incorrectly or left something out, Lion! 

1. What if Madoka transforms to MadoKAMI, I want to know boys’ reaction, especially Diasmonia’s boys

After the anime ended, Lion and I talked about how not that she’s a Goddess, she has the ability to visit Twisted Wonderland on her own and she approached Malleus and the rest of the Diasomnia gang in her human disguise so as not to freak them out. Well, Lilia and Malleus could feel the divinity within Madoka and you can expect the immense shock that not only could Madoka travel across worlds, but she’s also no longer human too. It’s a teary reunion and Malleus’ and Lilia’s hearts break when MadoKAMI explain everything. They comforted her to their best ability but ultimately, it’s been done. There’s nothing else they could do for her. It’s bittersweet for Lilia. Why, a human child ascended into a Goddess so she could save the fates of her friends and every Magical Girls in the past, present and future - she grew up out of necessity and love. Both Lilia and Malleus is proud to be her friend. 

2.  I want to know what if Sayaka got corrupt and the boys’ reaction(especially Adeuce) see Witch form Sayaka for the first time and they think Sayaka got Overblot but they wrong it worst than that!

The existence of a Witch’s Labyrinth is enough to make the boys instantly wary and a bit frighten (not that any of them would admit it). Bad times for everyone. The boys so confused, wanting to help Sayaka. The girls are horrified at the truth of Witches and Magical Girls and Homura is rushing in to kill Sayaka. Chaos everywhere with Octavie shrieking and trying to kill them all, Symposium Magarum blaring in the background and the Witch’s familiars flying everywhere to make sure their Witch could enjoy the music. 

No one could fight Octavia so they had to retreat. Homura causing enough distraction for them to escape. By the time they went out of the Labyrinth, shouting and screams begin. 

Adeuce would the most horrified, Madoka of course, heartbroken. Mami is losing it (to which Homura’s getting trigger happy and refused to look away from her. She’s ready to put Mami out of her misery the moment Mami so much as flinch) and Sayaka is both furious and still in shock. At this point, Homura has no choice but to reveal the fact she knows the truth about Magical Girls in order to explain that no, they don’t Overblot. They... mature into Witches when their Soul Gems turn pitch black. Here’s a little gem(lol) from explorerofsy on Discord:  vil internally: mami is a gem

It’s sad but it made me laugh sick. 

3. I want to know that what boys’ reaction if they see the Witches and Walpurgisnacht for the first time. Are they gonna fight or not?

The moment Homura explains that turning to Witches is irreversible and is the ultimate fate of all Magical Girls, some would deny it. Their magic is different from the girls, maybe they have a way to stop the transformation here in Twisted Wonderland. The academically-inclined students (Malleus, Riddle, Jamil, Vil and even Idia) would delve into hours of research, only to find nothing (I mean, Kyubey is akin to an Eldritch being, something beyond their comprehension so how on Twisted Wonderland would they push their magic against his strange abilities?). The other students are keeping a very close eye on the girls’ Soul Gems. I mentioned in a long-ago post that even Lilia would demand Madoka present her Soul Gem to him for inspection once every week since Madoka is still distraught over what happened to Sayaka. 

Will the boys fight the Witches? Well, in terms of Octavia, the Heartslabyul boys will struggle to kill her, even after Homura explains that the Witch is no longer Sayaka and it’s better to put her out of her despair and give her Grief Seed to Madoka (though Madoka would let Adeuce keep Octavia’s Grief Seed; it’s the only thing the boys have left of Sayaka after all. Madoka at least have years worth of memories of them together). 

In terms of Walpurgisnacht, Homura would debrief the girls and boys the strongest Witch to ever exist (Keeping Kriemhild Gretchen to herself. For now. She really, really doesn’t want to open that horrible can of worms) and showed them just how powerful and destructive she can be using her magic. Malleus would be intrigued in fighting her though. 

4. What would the boys’ (especially dorm leaders) reaction be when Homura tell the truth of Soul Gems and she tells how she looping time to time for 12 years and 100 looping

Characters like Leona, Lilia and Malleus would be shocked stupid. Time magic is already an insanely OP power and Homura, a human child, been abusing and looping time just to find a way to kill Walpurgisnacht? Leona will straight up spit out that Homura’s insane and Lilia will silently agree with him, wondering if Homura has gone mad. Malleus couldn’t help but applaud Homura’s will and her careful planning in making sure her Soul Gem remains pure. Kalim will cry for her; he couldn’t imagine what sort of pain Homura purposely gone through just to save her friends (cue Homura’s awkwardly patting him on the back, telling him not to cry because she made her choices) 

5. And btw i am boy its weird boy love twisted wonderland(not really but i love the character design and story(i just hate riddle mom treat him to obey all rules, he need freedom:( ))

It’s cool! Twisted Wonderland and its fandom are some of the very few fandoms I really enjoy. But then again, I tend to keep to myself and some close friends so I don’t really see the dramas. And you’re right, the story and characters’ design are what hooked me in. I was introduced to Twisted Wonderland when I saw a fanart of a little Azul holding hands with Floyd and Jade, looking disgruntled at being treated like a kid while the Tweels just smirk. That’s why Azul and the Tweels will always be my favourite in the fandom!

Yeah... when you think about it, most of the characters have unhealthy relationships with their family. Riddle with his Mum, Leona with his status and brother, Azul with his childhood bullying, and while we don’t know what exactly happen with King and Queen Draconia, Malleus probably knew them for only a short time (hell, they could even pass away before he was hatched).

So this is going to be my attempt to summarize the newest chapter (chapter 4, part 3) of twisted wonderland.

Again, spoiler alert since I’m about to write out everything that happened, and I apologize for my grammar in advance.

You woke up from another dream of Aladdin where Jafar got the magic lamp -> you were woken up by Jade -> you, Grim, Azul, and Jade headed towards Kalim’s room -> Jade prepared Kalim tea and offered to change Kalim’s clothes for him -> Kalim was really surprised and ask where Jamil is -> Jamil then walked in and shocked to see all of you there -> Azul explains that since Jamil was so busy so they thought they’ll at least help him by taking care of Kalim -> Kalim agreed to it so Jamil can take a break -> Jamil then headed to kitchen, planning to prepare for breakfast -> but Floyd has already started cooking with the Scarabia students -> later Azul changed the study plans so it is easier and more fun for the students and they are still studying for the same amount -> later, the students are having a chat talking about if it’s a useful study session like this, they’re honestly fine with staying in school like this -> Azul suggests to prepare some teas for everyone -> Jamil also went along to help Azul -> on their way, Azul talked about how students’ grade raised around 15% compares to 2 days ago, and since Kalim is also acting normally now, the students are slowly trusting him again -> Jamil mumbled “that would be troublesome for me” -> Jamil “sorry but I can’t let you stay in Scarabia, you have to go back” -> Azul “what’s wrong? Did I do anything..?” -> Jamil “do you really not understand this at all? Even when you are, looking at my sad expression?” -> Azul “Eh...?” ->

Jamil “—you looked into my eyes. Idiot.”

-> then Jamil casted his unique magic “snake whisper” onto Azul to mind control him -> then Jamil started his evil monologue talking all about his plan to use the students to chase Kalim out and pull Kalim down from the dorm leader position without dirty his own hand -> Jade suddenly showed up and informed Jamil that Azul was streaming the whole conversation online from his phone, by now it already got around 5k views -> Kalim and the Scarabia students are watching it too -> Azul also reveals that he wasn’t controlled at all, before this he signed a contract with Floyd so he can use Floyd’s unique magic to avoid Jamil’s mind control

Kalim also showed up -> “Ja...mil? What is... going on? The whole control me thing... is not true right? When I got dizzy and lost track of time, it was just caused by anemia right? I would fall asleep anywhere and you always got upset at me because of it too. Hey, isn’t that right? I was just sleeping right? There’s no way you would control me and throw me out right? Jamil, you are the only one... you are the only one who will never betray me right? That’s because we are, best friends right!?”

Jamil “......hahaha. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!”

Kalim “h, hey... what’s going on?”

Jamil “......that was the reason why.”

Kalim “Eh....?”

Jamil “ever since I can remember, your carefreeness, your friendliness, and your stupidness, I’ve always.....”

Jamil “HATED IT.”

Jamil “you don’t even know my pains and only knows to laugh around!!!! Every time I see you laugh it seriously makes me want to vomit. I’m so sick and tired of it!!! There’s no meaning to fix it now. so I’ll tell you, I’ve wished for you to disappear every single day. But I will end everything today! Me, my family... whatever it is, I don’t care about it anymore!!”

-> Kalim tried to stop him but Jamil started to controlling every student in there -> Azul was really shocked by Jamil’s power and how he’s able control all the students individually -> Kalim “Jamil! Please stop, I understood now. So I’ll make you the leader! And I’ll go back home too so...” -> Jamil “ha? What are you talking about, there’s no way my shackles can be broken that easily as long as...... Kalim! You exist in this world!” -> Jade “this is bad, if he keep going like this he will overblot.” -> Jamil “Shut up! Don’t order me around. I won’t, listen to anyone’s orders anymore!! I’m finally free!!!” -> then Jamil went overblot

Jamil “there’s no use for the useless king or a con! Just fly to the end of the world and never come back! WOOOOOOOPEE!!” -> everyone are blown away -> Jamil “So long, ex leader Kalim!! Ahahahaha!!”* -> everyone was blown to the end of the dessert, and it seems like it would take tens of hours to walk back -> Kalim started crying and blames himself for what happens with Jamil, and saying how Jamil would never do this before, and how Jamil would always help him, and was always a really trustworthy person -> Floyd commented that Kalim is too good of a person that it somehow... feels annoying -> Jade also says when Kalim started to blame himself it kind of makes his too good of a person that it’s a little disgusting -> but Kalim is still not believing Jamil betrayed him -> even though no matter how you looked at it he is being betrayed, a lot -> Azul explains to Kalim that this is not his fault -> and Kalim finally understood that maybe Jamil was the bad guy the entire time -> then Kalim decided he’ll go back and punch Jamil and call him a betrayer -> then you all realized you kind of has to find a way to go back -> Jade “it’ll be nice if there’s rivers, then me and Floyd can just swim back, but those river beds are all dried up.” -> so Kalim made rivers with his unique magic, which could make a lot of water with little magic power

-> back in Scarabia -> Jamil order the students to praise and compliment him more -> Kalim and everyone was finally able to make it back -> Jamil was quite surprised -> Kalim explains that they swims back with his unique magic -> Jamil “looks like you finally find a use for your unique magic, isn’t that well, normally it is just a useless magic that can only do things like watering plants.”

Kalim “Jamil... I finally understood how you think of me, there’s no mistake, you are an evil betrayer!”

Jamil “idiot, isn’t it your fault that you never doubt me for a second?”

Kalim “let’s fight fair and square, and I’ll take back the leader position that you steal from me!”

Jamil “steal? Ha, what are you talking about, you are the one that steals everything away from me! Witness my true power!”

-> fight time -> Jamil lose -> flashback time

Ever since Jamil can remember, his parents always tells him that he can’t do better than Kalim even though he is way smarter than Kalim, he has to let Kalim win every time -> Jamil’s parents always tell him “I know you are a smart boy, so you understand our situation right?” -> study, gym, games, no matter what, Jamil has to pretend that he can’t do it as long as Kalim is also in it -> Jamil “I’m only letting him win every time, and he still just going around with his carefree face, just notice it already you dense head!” -> flashbacks cuts to Jamil asking Crowley why was Kalim picked as dorm leader -> Crowley “it was because night raven college has received a lot of support from the Asim family...... you are a smart one, so you definitely... understand our situation right?” -> Jamil monologue: Every adults all says the same thing. “you understand our situation right?”

Then, who is going to understand me?

Kalim, as long as you exist, I would always have to stand back.

I, even I — wanted to become number one.

Jamil woke up and saw Kalim crying on top of him since Kalim was so worried that Jamil would die -> Kalim also apologize that he never realized Jamil’s feelings and how long Jamil has been enduring it -> Kalim “you are a horrible person, but you are also the one that helps me every time. That’s why, let’s just stop it, let’s stop thinking about the positions of our parents or the master servant relationship. Start from today, let’s become rivals and both try to take the first place with our skills. And on an equal ground......”

Kalim “Let’s become friends, Jamil.”

Jamil “become friends... on an equal ground....? Ha, that conclusion is so you, Kalim.......”

Jamil “then I want to say it as someone with an equal ground.”

Jamil “I WILL DEFINITELY REFUSE.”

Kalim “Eh.”

Jamil “You basically has nothing in your brain, super clumsy and never has a care in the world, and a thick head that don’t have any delicacy on top of that, who would want to befriend someone like that! If I got nothing from it then I won’t even try to get closer to you for one bit!”

-> everyone was quite surprised by that -> but Azul actually liked this Jamil more and suggest Jamil to come to octavinelle instead -> and got shut down by Jamil ruthlessly too -> but in the end, Jamil does tells Kalim that he never plan on just let Kalim win again

-> later, Grim is look around for the black stone again, and he mentioned how he just want to eat more and more of it.

-> next day, Kalim started another party and drags Jamil to join the dance -> Jade commented that they are both really good at dancing -> then you saw Ace and Deuce -> those two hurried here after seeing your message asking for help -> since the magic gate was closed so they had to ride other public transportation all the way back -> Kalim drags them into the party too since you are all friends

Back in ramshackle, you saw Liliya and he handed you a holiday card with a M.D signature.

In your room, middle of the night, you saw the Mickey shadow in your mirror again, he thought he was dreaming but then he could slowly hear your voices, he asks where you are, you answered twisted wonderland.

Then the holiday ended, the school started again in January, you met up with Deuce, Ace, and Jack in front of school -> Deuce accidentally runs into Epel -> Epel was crying -> Deuce ask if it hurts that much he’ll help Epel to nurse office -> but Epel runs away -> Jack mentions that they are in the same class

In pomefiore -> Vil ask for Rook to capture that kid for him, Vil mentions that he’ll not let that kid run away, and it’s all for the sake of obtain the beauty.

End of chapter 4.

* it is a reference to prince Ali reprise, where Jafar says “so long, ex prince Ali” I wanted to keep the reference so I changed it a bit. In the original text it says “nice shot” instead (and I just think it’s really cute and wanted to write it in here)

God this was hella of a ride, sorry this summary got this long, I basically translated too many dialogues line by line because I think those dialogues are pretty important, especially the part where Kalim questioning Jamil just after Jamil got exposed. his voice was just so sad and you can basically hear him shaking, and hear his heart shatter into little pieces after each question.

(Okay another reason that this becomes this long was probably because of a little personal bias too lol, my favorites are Kalim and Jamil after all)
