Every day, the bile in her belly swells and simmers. People like Danzo and Sasori and Orochimaru, she's coming to learn, are little more than bullies drunk on power. The only reason she does not confront them directly is because she is weaker than them. It would help no one, especially not Kabuto, if she charged in and got killed.

She has no idea what all the commotion is about, this time. Frankly, she's afraid to ask. But she can't just stand back and let Kabuto suffer. When she can get him alone, she has nothing to offer but a blanket and a mug of tea. She does not look him the eye, for fear of his seeing the tears of impotent fury shining in them that she's trying so hard to hold back for his sake.

Sitting alone in his room with his largest scalpel before him, along with some bandages and a bottle of hemostatic liquid for what he had intended to plan out if Orochimaru was dead serious on keeping this degrading seal on him.

He stares listlessly at the candle on his small desk as he tries to think about what would be his next course of action despite not wanting to think about how much chaos he had caused.

Sure, he may have let it slip but he was only correct that he had no idea that such a minor secret would bring out such consequences like this, and now he's been branded like cattle. Now he is no better and can be compared to the many mindless zombies that are in ROOT. A life that he had longed wished to forget, and now that reminder will always be on his body.

He doesn't even bother turning to see who it was, but judging by the slightly heavier and soft steps, he knew that it was his friend Aina. But in his state, he couldn't bear to let her see him in this sorry state. The soft tap of the cup of tea along with a warm throw blanket thrown on his shoulders doesn't faze him from his solemn mood, but he knew that she meant well. As even now, she is looking out for him long after he and she has left Konoha.

"Thank you." He whispered as his throat was still irritated from the pain of the seal that has left it hurting and made him feel and sound like he had eaten chalk and sand.

For a moment, he wished that he could and was able to cry in her chest, like he once did as a child when he failed to heal a fatally injured sparrow that passed away despite all of the care and healing he put into it. But he knew better than to let her see his emotions so he grips the blanket over his shoulders and he squeezes it anxiously.

For now, he should take it easy and rest so that he can collect his thoughts and think rationally on how... everything happened and if Orochimaru has a plan or a reason for the seal to be put on him.

i was out and about for half of this day bc—

🩺 obgyne visit ｡ﾟ•┈୨♡୧┈• ｡ﾟ finally got my first dose of hpv vaccine. two more doses to go! also did my pcos routine checkup. results were as expected, and yet, i still cried bc of it. no surprises there, really. overall, im grateful bc duh, ive got no major thingy to worry about naman down there, ykwim.

🍵 chill tOime ｡ﾟ•┈୨♡୧┈• ｡ﾟ went to one of my go-to cafe restaurants. im so happeh they opened this branch, and they finally hv meals on their menu! i stayed here for hoOOOOooOOOooours—for lunch i had their bacon slab something + sea salt latte, and then for dinner i had their buffalo chicken something salad + mango hibiscus. i also prepared an ig post which my brain turned into a full blown activity (((i had so much fun making the caption for this ♡))) all the while watching bones, and talking to my sibs + gOrL cousins. i miss them.

💆‍♀️ relaxation tOime ｡ﾟ•┈୨♡୧┈• ｡ﾟ decided to get my monthly massage today. hihi. my body has been aching lately, especially my hips and lower back. got a deep tissue massage, and oh my gosh, i think ive found the masseuse for me. she was amazing! i really felt like all the tension has left my body, oh my gosh, i so love her!!! i took a mental note of her name so that i could request her for my next massage.

💞 home at last ｡ﾟ•┈୨♡୧┈• ｡ﾟ surprised moosey with a custom vanilla bean latte ♡ i also surprised him by going straight home, instead of him picking me up. all my gala kasi, hatid sundo niya talaga me, and i was just feeling like ~actually~ coming home to him and to the furbebis this time, with a pasalubong in hand, so there i was booking a grab ride even though i was actually scared and anxious doing that (((bc my cousin had two unfortunate grab rides recently))). i also brought home my fave harry potter butterbeer. hihi.

🐶 furbebis missed me ｡ﾟ•┈୨♡୧┈• ｡ﾟ and of course, as usual, it was also sooOOOOooo heartwarming to see the furbebis so excOited to welcome me back home. they were all given hugs and kissies na diyan sa gif kaya mejj calm na sila. hehe. also, 5/6 sila diyan since di pa pwede much makipag-interact youngest namin hihi she got lotsa kisses too, of course!

My controversial Promare take is that Lucia should've been the main female lead, I mean look at her

Mad scientist type making mecha stuff for matoi-obsessed firefighter dude with dubious concern for safety. Plus her being Heris's sister could've been interesting, cuz then you got two science siblings in opposing teams with opposing philosophies. One who plays by the rules working for the lawful evil, the other who's more reckless and loose and chaotic-- but ultimately both are trying to look out for each other

Iron-Blooded Orphans being the first Gundam show I completed is gonna be so funny later down the road. Mainly because I’ll never be able to take any love triangle in this series seriously now.

Anytime a show presents me with two characters who are in love with the same person, all I’m gonna be thinking about is Atra’s “Wait—Mikazuki has TWO hands,” moment.

FUN LITTLE VISUAL DETAILS IN PROMARE - PART 2

(Part 1)

(Most of the stuff I say here are just my own observations so take it all with a grain of salt)

When Galo first shows up, the emergency lights actually change colour. Before he makes his big entrance the lights are simply red and blue:

But once he arrives, the colours change:

Bright yellows, greens, purples, pinks, everything! It makes them look more like concert lights to me. (which makes sense for his "getting the crowd pumped" thing)

Galo actually gets 2 title cards. (Mostly) everyone else gets these:

Reddish background, black fading to purple text, yellow/orange accents, red katakana in front of the singular character. It's very distinctive.

But when Galo first shows up, he's accompanied by his suit and lights, and his name flashes behind him.

Flashing from yellow to blue. And right after this, he gets another title splash, a "normal" one this time.

(safe to say we won't be forgetting his name anytime soon)

Galo's Matoi staff is quite versatile. It of course holds his armor in it's compact form:

But once the armor is dropped, he uses it like a staff:

A gun:

A chainsaw (even pulling a cord to start it):

And a homing beacon for the armor itself:

Lucia is very resourceful, that's for sure.

Meis' Mad Burnish armor doesn't have hands. Due to his praying mantis/bug theme, his arms are just pincers:

(You can see the large limbs are his arms, and the smaller ones are attatchments to his shoulders.)

This makes riding his bike a little awkward, but he manages. There's an extra beam of fire, and to me it looks like his arms also curl around it a bit.

The Mad Burnish footage shown on the camera is actually from the side short, Lio-Hen.

Lio's mask is shown already broken a few frames before it actually shatters. Right after striking Galo he jumps away, his hair already visible:

I'm not sure if this is an error or not, since his helmet is clearly drawn with only 2 horns, instead of his usual 3, even in the shot where his head is hidden.

Terrible news! I've found the raws for the IBO manga volumes and I downloaded the last volume! the pics are a little pixelated but beggars can't be choosers you know? what's important is the fact that manga artist Kazuma Isobe chose violence and modified Orga's death scene so that he dies in Kudelia's arms

but wait! that's not all! there's also pages after they've brought Orga's body inside, and you get to see that Ride has the gun now

(everyone else's death in this last volume plays out the same, from Shino's to Mika's)
