the heavy guilt lingered , maternal instincts are present , despite the reality of still remembering that she had created them , still A MOTHER'S LOVE is powerful no matter how they became to be , as poetic as it may seem to be , her heart knew ( and by every universe that she's travelled ) THEY ARE REAL . THEY EXIST . THEY ARE HERS . billy and tommy : were are the very embodiment of her dreams . to be a part of her . to be a mother , to have a family .

so the guilt that everything had happened , happened . TO HAVE MISSED so much already about him , how he'd grown , when it all started or rather HOW . it was still , a big puzzle piece that the choas witch had questions yet to have answers from . and she thought , she'd seen it all . to have come back from the multiple jumps from timeline to timeline only to then return to the POSSIBILITY OF REALLY , TRULY now have him physically before her eyes was still so shocking , hurtful that even agatha , and these witches were able to spend time with him , with her son more than her .

she's still , trying to find words that could convey her emotions of both confusion but seeking for comfort . somehow finding ease from the older witch THOUGH GUARD WAS STILL UP , trust was still hard to come by . and what ifs were presently clouding her thoughts ( what if they'll shield him away from me , what if there's resentment that he feels with me out of the picture , what if he never sees me ) “ but i was gone–- and i've been to EVERY UNIVERSE that i could even possibly feel my children's presence , and he was here all along , and i couldn't even feel that it happened . and that i missed it all , he doesn't even recognise me ”

shaggy and daphne had been on many wild adventures with their friends, but nothing could have prepared them for what was about to happen. one moment they were in some strange lord of the rings type world and the next, a portal spit them out in some mythical land called asgard. it didn’t take long for the dog with them to catch a whiff of something. ❝ c’mon daph, scoob must’ve found something. ❞ trusting his trusty dane, shaggy ran off after scooby in the direction of a large dinner hall. in the hall he found something, alright, a table piled high with exotic dishes, and scooby could not resist. he began to eat voraciously, sampling everything in sight. shaggy looked on in amazement and envy as scooby devoured an entire roast boar, several sides of beef, and a giant turkey leg. ❝ like man, that food sure looks good. do you think they’d be mad if we helped ourselves too ?? ❞

Tribute

I laughed almost non-stop watching Deadpool & Wolverine. The crass and gross and the ridiculous are mixed in with just a bit of clever. And then there's the pure joy of watching to almost indestructible dudes killing each other in violent ways (it's a WB cartoon kind of fun).

But as always it's the layer below the humour that really hits. And in a prefect Deadpool way this one worked both in the movie but also on the meta level. It's the story of a failed superhero that the Avengers didn't want and whose girlfriend left. Here trying to save his world to save his friends. He gets a second chance at being who he always wanted to be but the price is abandoning everyone he came up with. MCU and Sacred Timeline is one person deal. But this is where Multiverse pays off. It means he can keep his friends and timeline. He just has to fight cybernocracy that would rather dismantle it instantly first.

And it's a story of a fallen studio which movies lost the audience and couldn't find the right way to tell it's stories (with extra layer of Disney's Marvel being on precipice of that too now). All it's properties buried and replaced for a new shinier thing. We could move on and only acknowledge the pieces that haven't been tarnished. And yet, this movie looks back at it all, and brings back the discarded ridiculed. Including the ones we never even got. Using Void to discard them and Alioth to eat them into oblivion is such a prefect metaphor you'd think it was invented for this Film. It's a prefect integration of MCU ideas for the plot of this one story.

The whole movie is practically a tribute to the early days of Marvel and superhero movies that created the momentum that MCU then built it's 30 billion empire on. This is what makes each cameo count. It isn't there just for a joke or Easter Egg moment but it ties to the theme of the story, We are revisiting the forgotten heroes, the fallen ones, the ones who never got to be. And if we are lucky the ones who still might be (please, please let us keep Daphne Keen).

It's also a reminder of how long both Jackman and Reynolds have been in this. The first X-Men movie came out 24 years ago. Reynolds was in Blade: Trinity 20 years ago. I don't think it's an accident a lot of those cameos went to the beginnings with Pyro and Electra. And even with the MCU actors reminding us they started in Fox as Evans came back as Johnny Storm. Even Jon Favreau cameo as Happy Hogan was a reminder he was once Foggy Nelson in Daredevil. This was reunion movie in more ways than one.

And the behind the scenes of those movies, the whole history of Fox Marvel films really hit you in the end. Even the failures like the last Fantastic Four. Even to the X-Men Origins: Wolverine and the Deadpool abomination there. This is what got us here. This is for all the fun we had over the years with these characters and superheroes in general. This was the start.

Of course, Deadpool wouldn't be Deadpool if they didn't desecrate and made fun of the very thing they were paying tribute too. Both the initial fight and any reference to Fox made sure of that. Reminding us that even the best parts of the past shouldn't be sacred. You should build new stories and not be afraid to change. There will be new Blade. And a new Johnny Storm. And maybe a new Deadpool and Wolverine one day too (long, long time from now apparently 😋).

And new universes give you new opportunities to meet people. Maybe even find a romance like B-15 and Peter. Or become a villain. I'm not sure how I feel about the Doom Announcement but let's see. This movie reminded us it's just one more "same face - different person" case in this multiverse.

Okay last night I thought of some pretty wild HCs of the Hellaverse cast in tow ( inspired by some interactions I've seen of them so far ) :

. Brandon Rogers being a residential wildcard of the bunch and often saying crazy shit. But he's a friendly person and well liked by a lot of the Hellaverse team

. Blake Roman being amongst the youngest members of the team means he got babysat by some older members of the crew ( like Tom Holland amongst those roster of MCU actors ). He also got some acting lessons from Keith David himself

. Erika Henningsen being a gossip queen and having so much tea to share to her friends

. Stephanie Beatriz being a cool ' Latina wine aunt ' and just happy to be here with the crew

. Joel Perez and Brandon Rogers write a bunch of lewd Voxval and Stolitz smut

. Amir Talai being often a ' wisecrack ' member of the team who is just happy to be here

. Blake Roman, his girlfriend Etta and Krystina Alabado often hanging out as buddies

. Lili Cooper and Daphne Rubin Vega being ' cool wine aunts ' friends together and exchanging a lot of gossip

. Jonathan Freeman and Keith David knowing each other from the Disney VA days and just being good friends/co workers, often texting each other the tea of the recording sessions of Helluva and Hazbin

. Bryce Pinkham one time got cajoled by Brandon Rogers to read out a Stolitz smut fic written by Brandon as an improv exercise of their characters. The result is both in stitches with laughter cuz the smut fic was pretty wild

. Alex Brightman being the ' wild fun uncle ' of the bunch and just happy to be here

. Jeremy Jordan, James Monroe Iglehart, Keith David and Jonathan Freeman already knew each other amongst the Disney VA circles so they often vibe together

. One time those 4 decided to do an improv Crack practices of their Disney characters ( Varian, Lance Strongbow/Genie, Jafar and Dr Facilier ). The results are everyone else watching amazement and everyone laughing in stitches

. Blake Roman often uses his Angel Dust voice to flirt with Etta which often left them both in stitches

. Blake Roman and Etta being pretty open in PDA causing a bunch of Hellaverse cast members in tow to shout ' GET A ROOM! ' jokingly

. Richard Horvitz having fun voice coaching all those wonderfully talented VAs

. The Hellaverse cast and crew group chats are all wild as hell

. Blake Roman often sends memes on those group chats

. The older ones having to search what those memes mean

. Christian Borle being an introvert off stage and doesn't go to those cons that much. But he's just happy to be in whatever Hellaverse panel event he shows up in

. Georgina Leahy being actually a sweetheart in real life makes her voicing of Stella all the more terrifying. Like she's really good at playing villain roles but outside of it she's actually a sweetheart

the fandom don’t care about baby trapping bc why are they making fics and saying pen shoulve trapped Colin as joke? But when Marina was doing for her survival it was she’s the devil so see how it was never about Colin or wanting him not to be trapped and more so about them hating Marina bc she was taking away their little self insert girl crush like pen they was just jealous and bitter insecure girls! Bc wdym it’s fine if pen babytraps colin and he would’ve liked it 😂 oh polin so unserious

i mean like, fandom makes jokes i don't think that's a bad thing, even if they write it that's fine, but yeah if they do it and simultaneously think marina is the devil it's mmmm.

and of course there's self inserting into pen. but that's not bad either! i self insert into pen too, her scenes at the balls and parties are like man :/ being ignored and shunned and treated poorly at large events sucks majorly, having your mom constantly treat you like that sucks majorly too. i think people self insert into all the characters—daphne for wanting to be a mom, fran for preferring the quiet, kate and anthony for their older sibling plights, so on and so forth.

the thing is when it comes to characters like penelope, or even less bookish characters like mcu wanda or regina from ouat, is that fans relating to them leads to "this character did nothing wrong because society/other characters fucked them over first." and just to be clear, that's fine. i know a lot of people say "you can love a character but you have to acknowledge their flaws" ehhhh. idk. if you're just into a show for fun you shouldn't have to acknowledge a character's flaws to enjoy them. you kinda just can, it doesn't mean you agree with them whether you explain yourself or not.

but then it goes a step further into hate for other characters and that's when i get annoyed. i don't care that people love penelope, i dislike that i can't look at any bridgerton opinions without seeing blatant hate and misunderstanding of eloise and marina. i don't care that ouat fans love regina, i dislike the absolute insane takes on snow and emma twisting things around to make them the villains.

and when it comes to penelope specifically, yeah, her ending arc is very underwhelming. nothing happens which begs the question why she couldn't simply come forward last year when eloise was threatened or why she couldn't let eloise pretend to be LW for the queen's benefit. but even that is fine. it's fucking bridgerton, i didn't expect her to get consequences. my biggest problem besides fans' villainizing everyone but her, is that her redemption arc is sorely missing one thing—apologizing to marina. the actress couldn't come back, that's fine! just show pen writing a letter to her too when she wrote to violet and the queen. that is the biggest problem i have because penelope was a teenager when she revealed marina's secret. she was immature and childish and it's understandable, but she should apologize now that she's matured and understands that was wrong.

also maybe not punishing cressida for trying to escape marriage to an old man. idk.

What is happening why are you doing this?

What's going to happen is I choose the carachters and set up the brackets for the left 16 carachters and the right brackets will be chosen by submissions.

There will only be one carachter per franchise excluding transformers and pokemon beacuse I am biased like the rest of humanity.

There will be 4 rounds and maybe some bonus rounds if I'm up to it!

I'm doing this beacuse I saw other people doing this and I thought it sounded fun! My theme is purple cuz I didnt see anyone else do it and my favorite color is purple.
