met gala shit is really not important for me, however, I must admit that I admire Alexander McQueen as an artist and I hold an immense amount of empathy and compassion for him as a person. This leads me to think that if Lee could see Lana's outfit, I feel like he would probably nail needles in his eyes.

comparing them, I can’t unsee how lazy the 2024 outfit looks.

this outfit that *allegedly* references McQueen's original from F/W ‘06 fails its intention, at least in my opinion; like, there’s no way someone can compare these dresses.

for me, Lee left such big shoes that obviously Seán McGirr couldn’t fill, at least not in this specific case.

I want to like this. I really do. But I feel like it's just a discount version of this look by McQueen.
