@mcgucketxgonzales //Liked/Reblogged Starter Call - Randomized: Secret Genuis AU// The surprise that came from his parents he managed to somewhat pull his grades up was pretty gratifying, especially when no one could say that he cheated. The first go around, sure. One of his teachers, the one who said she knew he had potential, didn't write off his passing grade in the typical fashion. Any other teacher would have automatically assumed that, oh yeah Ford was right next to him. We'll fail him and get it over with. No, this teacher decided to move a desk out into the hallway and force him to retake a test or redo an assignment. He passed. It was after a particularly nasty fight with Ford that Stanley started participating in class assignments. He'd been fine with playing the role of the dumb kid in order to help boost his brother's self-esteem. Ford was always being picked on for his hands and his intellect was pretty much the one thing he had going for him. Stanley was the "normal" one, as people would say. Normal amount of fingers, average intelligence, nothing to write home about, but they were wrong. He was just as smart as Stanford. He just chose to skirt by. He worked hard to pull his grades up and though it was too late for West Coast Tech, he still had a few colleges glancing his way - a few teachers wondering why the heck he hadn't shown such promise before. One of the brochures that caught his attention was for Backupsmore. Honestly it was far enough away from Jersey - his father and the life he'd been living before - that he naturally jumped at the chance run away from all that, lousy twin brother included (despite the fact Ford had already left him in the dust.) Without looking back Stanley made the drive to campus where he got a tour of the building as well as the dormatories where he'd be staying along with a dormmate. Despite the bugs and the idea of sharing his space with a total stranger it was such a relief to get out of Jersey - to no longer have to worry about being one half of the "Stan Twins" or "Pines twins". He was just Stanley. Or Stan. Or Lee! And though he didn't plan to do anything amazing at this college (college wasn't really in his plans after all, this was just a massive fuck you to everyone who kept putting him down) he still planned to put forth some effort with his grades mainly so he could have a place to live. He wasn't going back to Jersey and the thought of being a homeless bum made his shudder. He knew the statisticis. "Wonder what my dormmate is gonna be like..."

Shuffling her feet against the floor, Mabel nodded in agreement. Being around police officers seemed to always make her nervous, especially after her first summer in Gravity Falls.

“Mhm. Hopefully we don’t get the same treatment. Like, it’s not like we actually did anything.”She may not be well acquainted with the inventor, but she was worried nonetheless. “I mean. I’m pretty sure we didn’t do anything. You didn’t do anything, right?”

It had been a few years since Rick had heard about Gravity Falls, he heard about the place during a run in with a man named Stan Pines. Last he had heard of him was his untimely end however. The young punk had wound up here by chance, he heard of crystals in the area that could grow and shrink things and he wanted them for an invention he was working on. Something to assist him in creating a small universe that he could use as a battery. He was having trouble with the shrink ray prototype and out of sheer laziness, he figured the crystals would be a better option.

His plan was derailed rather quickly when he heard the sound of a banjo being plucked nearby. He didn't usually hear that where he travelled and well, curiosity got the better of him.

Stuffing his hands in his pockets as he followed the twang of strings, Punk tilted his head as he chuckled. "And me without my washboard." He mused when he set eyes on the other man. "Couldn't help but be nosy, can't resist a musician." The punk grinned as he reached up to brush back his mohawk, eyeing up the hillbilly curiously.

What inspired you to take on your current muse (that you are posting this on): 

eh, I kind of admired other RP blogs from afar for the past year or so, and then I finally got around to getting a tumblr and was like "well, there are virtually no Mst3k Rp blogs, let's make one of those"

What are your favourite aspects of your current muse: 

I just love writing Crow's personality, it just really clicks well with my own. Just the little things he does in the show make me want to write him!  (Esp when he has that touch of a Minnesota accent, omg) Tom is just so flirty and petty he's just really fun to write! I feel like I don't make him sing enough though, I need to fix that.

What’s your biggest inspiration when it comes to writing: 

Well, besides just having friends there to interact with, just watching Mst3k! 

Favourite types of threads: 

The ones where the bots already know and like you, and they just wanna hang out or make jokes because they just like having a companion to hang out with. ❤️Or the opposite: when one of them is super petty and just wants to riff you like a shitty B movie, lol

Biggest struggle in regards to your current muse: 

Hoo boy. Well, I do struggle with bouts of anxiety, depression, and the general I'm Not Good Enough kind of things. I really don't reference things as much as I think I should, and the aforementioned singing thing for Servo. And, well, I'm working on seeing all the episodes of Mst right now, and I only just started season 2. I feel like my portrayal is off because I've been watching season 1 and Ktma. Like that humor is radically different from even season two , so I feel like that might alter the way I write crow and tom. But it's okay Tagged by @colintheshyguy (thank you dear!) Tagging:

@mcgucketxgonzales Bill is currently in the house of the gypsy. He has the perfect plan to annoy him with. As he floats though, he feels his elbow come into contact with an object. Before he knew it, a loud crash rang through the air, filling the silence. Bill turns around hesitantly and see's that whatever he just knocked down is in a million pieces. Oops.. He suddenly hears rapid footsteps coming in his direction, but before he could do anything, Fiddlestick was standing in front of him, looking more than annoyed. "IT WAS AN ACCIDENT. I ONLY BREAK THINGS WHEN I'M BEING IGNORED. ALSO, I BROKE INTO YOUR HOUSE." He looked down, then back up awkwardly. "SO, UH..WHAT'S UP?" String Bean wasn't supposed to find him. This ruins his whole plan. "WHAT'S AH..WHAT'S GOIN' ON?"
