It is safe to say that this blog is the most unpopular McGoohan blog out there. I would consider that an achievement if I didn't have to lose all those polls.
I can tell you that I don't enjoy making propaganda.
Unless you say his acting sucks, Patrick McGoohan wouldn't give a damn about what you have to say about him.
And there's nothing that you can say about all your big stars that can be said about him.
Your James Bond can scream he is sick and tired of playing James Bond until his throat is sore and it would just be another Tuesday for the tabloids. Patrick McGoohan could get the whole UK banging on his door with hammers in less than an hour. That's how you make a statement.
You were just glad your TV finally had some colors when Patrick McGoohan was already breaking free from it. That's how you be a pioneer.
Patrick McGoohan bared his teeth and all your big bosses ran out of words to describe his anger. That's how you refuse to be a star.
He was the first one to go into the prison all of your sexy actors went to, turned around at the gate and never came back.
I don't even regret sending him to blorbo contest like sending a bunny to a bunny show. My only regret as a blorbo blogger is not being able to give Patrick McGoohan the blog he deserves.

MY NAME IS NOBODY / A GENIUS TWO FRIENDS AND A DUPE (1973-1975) - SPAGHETTI & OTHER RECIPES' WESTERNS (Part 2/10)
While the Spaghetti Western genre is often associated with violence and dark heroes, its popularity spawned a sub genre, i.e. the Comedy Westerns led by Terence Hill with the Trinity series (see Part 10) and culminating with the Sergio Leone produced My Name Is Nobody in 1973 followed by its lesser sequel A Genius Two Friends And A Dupe in 1975.
Above are posters from Belgium, France, Italy, Japan, the US and ex-Yugosalvia (click on each image for details).
Director: Tonino Valerii, Damiano Damiani Actors: Terence Hill, Henry Fonda, Robert Charlebois, Patrick McGoohan, Klaus Kinski, Miou-Miou

If you can remember when I put McGoohan into an Ella Fitzgerald song, you have followed this blog for too long.
