Most definitely the most particular thing about the RX-7 (and about every RX- before and after it) is the technology it owes its name to: the Rotary Xngine. You know what, maybe the X doesn't stand for engine.
You see, such sportscars usually have 4 cylinders at the least and 8 at the most. This one has 0. That's because in Wankel engines the combustion happens in rotors, Reauleaux triangle-shaped metal thingys that, in their spinning around, compress the air/fuel mixture which in return, once ignited, pushes the rotors.
Tumblr media
BENEFITS As you can see, this cycle happens on every side of the rotor, so it's a bit like every rotor equated to three cylinders - so they pack some enormous punch for the engine size: this here RX-7 has a positively minuscule 1.2L engine (which means insurance is cheeeeeeap). The engine is also so smooth they had to add a buzzer so you realized you were revving the tits off of the thing - which you also could do because it revved real high. It also tends to sound glorious. What's not to love? Well...
DRAWBACKS You know when I said "air/fuel mixture"? Yeah, it's more like "air/fuel/oil mixture", because unlike in a cylinder engine, where you can have the mixture in one part of the combustion chamber and the oil to lubricate the piston's travel in the other, here every part of the combustion chamber has fuel mixture in it, so the only way to lubricate it is to add oil to the mixture. Usually when your car burns oil you take it up with the mechanic - here you'll have to take it up with Mr. Wankel (and if you do, let's just say you might want to avoid being a jew). Reliability-wise it goes from "spoiled" to "nightmare" depending on who you ask, fuel consumption is pretty bad, and while they have quite the power they lack a bit in torque, making them not ideal for low-RPM weight pulling applications like gargantuan sedans, pickups or buses. (Not that it stopped Mazda from using it in all three, but hey, is there anyone we'd like more if they always did what's wisest?)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And still, beloved the Mazda rotary is (other makers dabbled in 'em but Mazda was the only one to stick with them long term, shoving them into production cars up to 2012), and beloved the RX- sportscars are, hence the two being frequent subjects of engine swaps.
ENGINE SWAPS An engine swap is the act of chucking the engine out your car and putting in a different one - more powerful, more reliable, cheaper to maintain, better sounding (yes that's a factor to many people) or what have you. And indeed, there are a handful of engines that are very popular to swap into cars (usually due to popularity in the aftermarket, a desirable trait when looking for someone who makes some random bit for when that engine is put in your car) and some cars it's very popular to swap engines into (usually for a mix of the above and the rest of the car being better than its engine).
Mazda's rotary engines are in the unique spot of both being popular engines to swap into cars -as compact, lightweight, powerful engines with an aftermarket scene happy to supply you parts to push them into four digits of horsepower- and popular engines to swap out of cars -usually in favor of the LS V8 engine, on the opposite end of the sportscar engine reliability and fussiness spectrum. That swap, however, is kind of controversial, as the rotary engine is pretty much seen as 'the point' of Mazda's RX series of sportscars and a big honkin' V8 is seen as the antithesis to that point. Kind of like making an avocado toast but replacing the avocado with beef.
CONCLUSION You didn't tell me I had to write a conclusion. I have nothing else to say
YOU CAN JUST SAY BYE Ok then. Bye!
Links in blue are posts of mine explaining the words in question - if you liked this post, you might like those!

Mazda Light Bus A-Type Rotary Prototype, 1971 & Mazda Parkway Rotary 26 Deluxe, 1974. Mazda's devotion to the rotary engine knows very few bounds. They even made Wankel engined buses. The Light Bus A-Type (AKA the fishbowl) had been a big success for Mazda and in 1971 they fitted one with a twin rotor engine as a test bed. Then in 1974 along came the Parkway small bus (it seated 26) and offered a rotary engine as an option. In total 44 were made using the 13B rotary engine.

Crazy On You
A Tale from The MCU
~ On a trip up state, things get a little spicy when the rumble of Bucky's engine gets you going...~
Bucky Barnes x F!Reader
2,158 Words
Warnings: NSFW, Exhibitionism (Sex in a Public Place), Oral, Fingering, Sexy Stuff.
A/N: For @feelmyroarrrr... I pictured Bucky from FATWS, but you can put this anywhere you'd like ;) - Also, I published this in Feb 2024, before we got Bucky in the Thunderbolts trailer, so I thought it was time to bring it over here finally lol
Tumblr media
Wind is whipping around you with hurricane force, stinging as it hits your exposed cheeks. It prickles your skin and sweeps the hair off of your neck. It’s cold and invasive, but it feels good as the summer sun beats down upon your shoulders. The wind and heat fight for dominance and your body is the battleground.
A bump in the road jerks your spine and you lean forward, arms tightening around Bucky’s waist. He’s steering the motorcycle with expert precision, but he’s no match for the pothole-marred blacktop of New York State. Another dip makes you gasp and he cocks his head back a bit, yelling over the wind.
“You OK back there?”
You give him a squeeze and press your chin to his shoulder. The metal beneath his leather jacket gives you pause, but it doesn’t bother you- it’s just another reminder of how remarkable he is.
“I’m great!” you holler back. “But this road sucks!”
He smiles into the wind and leans slightly to the left, following the curve of the road. The Sawmill River Parkway is treacherous and exciting.
“Well, hold on, Doll,” he warns. “It only gets worse!”
The road winds around and back again, dodging towns and skirting the edge of the Hudson River as it leads them out of the city. Skyscrapers and brownstones give way to long stretches of trees and the bright green blurs in your peripheral.
As you drive, arms clasped around his firm body, your thoughts begin to drift. The engine is roaring and the thin seat vibrates between your legs, setting off an array of images in your mind. You clench your thighs as the Bucky revs the motor, hold your breath as you feel the strong muscles in his back tense against your chest. Slowly, you unclutch your right hand and snake it up to lay flat against his heart. His heart is pounding; his body firm and warm. You close your eyes and let your fingers glide downwards, coveting the dips of his abs. Your mouth waters as you envision running your tongue over every bump.
The road swerves and you hang on; centrifugal force and Bucky’s strong body keeping you in place while the bike leans to the right. Your nails dig into the soft gray fabric of his tee and he shivers. You can feel it as strongly as you can feel the vibrations through your jeans.
He picks up speed, easily overtaking the white Mazda to your left. You let out a laugh and turn to watch the darkened windshield fade into the background. There’s nothing that can catch you now. No government agency giving chase in an SUV behind you; no preternatural force pinning for your blood beyond the cliff to your right. There’s nothing but the sun and the wind and the soaking arousal between your legs.
You pass another car and your body starts to shake. Every rev, every bump, every tiny oscillation of the engine makes your pussy throb. The bike seems connected to you- it turns, you ease to the side with it. It screams, your body aches. It creeps over the jagged road top, your blood zings.
“Fuck!”
Bucky tenses at your shout, hands tightening on the handlebars. He holds steady.
“What's going on?” His voice is drenched in concern, evident even over the howl of the traffic.
“Nothing.”
You brush him off but he doesn't believe you. Something lies hidden in your voice and the way your fingers keep curling against his stomach tells him there's trouble.
He growls your name through a clenched jaw. “Y/N…”
As a shudder of pleasure whips down your body, you lean into his back and press your lips to his ear.
“I'm good! But we should pull over soon…”
Before he can solicit more information, you drag a hand down his stomach and cup his jeans.
The bike swings a bit to the right.
Bucky clears his throat, gives his head a little shake to clear his mind.
“Hang on!”
A sign ahead tells of a scenic overlook two miles down the road, but you’re not sure you can make it. The rumbling has taken over any bit of nervousness from racing down the parkway on the back of a bike, and all you want to do is get his hands on you.
The bike picks up speed and passes a black Camry.
The trees have grown more dense so far from The Bronx and the stench of a hot summer day has long ago died away.
Your desire is so intense that it’s taking all your strength to hold on, to not nibble at his ear or reach inside his tight jeans. He needs to concentrate even if you can’t. He needs to focus on the road even if your focus is on the heartbeat pulsing in your cunt. He needs to stay sharp even if your eyes are blurry and the scenery is sliding by like thinned paint dripping down a canvas.
Finally, he signals and takes the exit, following a giant blue sign towards the rest area.
Black top gives way to gravel; the noisy traffic fades away. Bucky pulls into a spot cliffside and cuts the engine. There’s a momentary shock as your ears try to readjust to the quiet, and then you hear his gruff voice and all is well.
“What’s going on?” he asks, dropping the kickstand and moving to get up. “You OK?”
Teeth stuck in your bottom lip, you watch him dismount, dragging your gaze down over his solid frame. His shirt is terribly tight; the leather jacket formed spectacularly around his muscular arms and shoulders. The jeans are soft and bite into him in all the ways you crave to.
“Oh, I’m good…”
There’s a sparkle in your eyes that makes him smirk. “Really? Ya seem a little… worked up.”
Your mouth waters for him and you squirm over the leather seat, ready to attack. “Very.”
Bucky grins and presses his tongue between his front teeth. You feel the urge to taste it and carefully climb off of the ride.
“Very, huh?” He takes a breath and looks around. The outlook is clear; prying eyes are nowhere around. “You couldn’t have waited till we got upstate? We have a room, ya know.”
All thoughts besides getting your lips on him are gone and your vision narrows in on your target. You lunge forward and pray he’ll keep his balance and not send you both tumbling into the river.
His footing is sure. His arms are strong and his kiss is unforgiving.
“Fuck, I need you so bad,” you moan, sunshine hitting your face as his tongue sweeps over your pulse. His teeth scrape the delicate skin of your throat and you claw at his shoulder. “Need you now!”
A hard shove to his chest knocks him back half a step and you drop to your knees in the dusty gravel. Bucky sucks in a deep breath and turns his back to the parkway.
“You sure about this?” he asks, shooting a glance over his shoulder. Cars speed past in the distance, no one the wiser.
You tugged at his belt. “So sure…”
One leather end flaps to the left.
The buckle dangles over his thick thigh.
You fumble with the zipper and there's a hiss from above as Bucky fears for his manhood. Quickly, he closes his hand over yours and takes over, saving himself as you stare, drooling and impatient.
“You’re certainly all worked up, Doll,” he teases, licking his lip as you stare up in utter submission, silently begging for his cock.
“Aren’t you? That ride… the engine… the-”
A gasp cuts you off when his dick appears. Bucky pulls it free of his briefs and the sun strikes his velvety skin. He pushes his hips forward slightly and your lips open automatically. Without further invitation, you lean forward and land a wet kiss over the tip. Bucky sucks in a breath and you smile, finally getting what you’ve been dying for.
You flick your tongue over his slit and then drag it slowly down, wetting his quickly growing shaft.
“Fuck, Y/N/N… feels so good.”
You look up with bright eyes and bob your partially opened mouth over his swelling head. Bucky’s upper lip quivers and he sneers with escalating desire. He dips his chin and smiles softly. A delicate finger sweeps over your forehead and curls around your ear. He urges you forward and you comply, sliding your lips down his cock. You can feel him harden on your tongue, taste the salty tang of him, smell his summer musk. It drives you wild and you swallow around him, wanting to savor every drop.
“Damn it…” Bucky rolls his hips and your eyes flutter back. “You’re a needy little cocksucker, aren’t you?”
Your mumbled response makes him moan and you pull back with a wet pop.
He shakes his head teasingly and lays his metal hand on the nape of your neck. “Don’t stop.”
The cold metal makes you shiver as he guides you back down. His touch is easy but you can feel the pent up force. He holds back with you, gentle but boiling with power. There’s never any fear when you’re with him, never a reason to think, even when he’s grabbing at your tits or fucking you on the vibranium, that he’ll do you any harm. Maybe a bruise or two, but it’s never something you don’t ask for.
He sets the pace, jerking his hips and pushing at your head in rhythmic succession. Drool spills down your chin, puddling on the gravel beneath your knees. The sun beats down, hot and wonderful. Traffic flows in the distance, clouds drift overhead.
Bucky fists your hair and snaps his hips, burying his cock down your throat. You gag and claw at his muscular thighs as his seed floods your mouth. He groans loudly as he comes and it echoes off the cliff like a roar in the jungle.
Before you can swallow it all, he’s got you on your feet, dragging you to standing and crushing you against his chest. He paws at your tits and locks his metal arm behind your back, holding you steady.
“Bucky…”
He kisses away your words, driving his tongue deep between your lips. He can taste himself there and it stirs his desire again. You can feel him push against your belly and your pussy leaks for him.
“Please…”
Again, he shoves his tongue into your mouth, silencing your cries while snaking his free hand into your jeans. He pops the button without hesitation and eases his way into your panties. You’re already soaked and he hums at the feeling as your wet heat spreads over his fingers.
His cold fingers splay open across your back and your body goes weak, cradled by his touch, safe from falling.
He touches you with expert precision, jabbing two fingers deep into your cunt while his thumb rubs circles over your clit. You hold your breath, afraid to scream with pleasure and alert any passersby. Bucky doesn’t seem to care if you’re found out, and does his best to pull moan after moan from your swollen lips.
“That’s it,” he whispers, staring down into your glazed eyes. “Gonna come for me like a good girl, yeah?”
You manage a nod as he crooks his finger against your g spot.
“Out here in the open where anyone could see.”
“Yes…”
Your voice is as shaky as your legs and the pressure of his hand increases. Pleasure swells inside and he can feel your body pulsing.
“There you go, Doll.” He rubs faster, fucks a little harder. “Let go and come for me.”
It hits like a crack of lightning and Bucky holds you steady, fucking you through the crest of your orgasm and sucking down your cry. He licks at your lips, caresses your aching cunt, hums in amazed approval.
“You’re perfect,” he whispers, slowly removing his hand from your jeans.
You grab his hand, still shuddering from the bliss, and tug his fingers to your mouth. He bites his lip, watching with darkening blue eyes as you lick him clean.
“Goddammit, we gotta get to that hotel soon.”
You laugh and let his hand fall free. “Only a little longer, right?” You blink innocently and brush a finger over his new erection.
He shivers and pops the tip of his tongue between his teeth, counting the miles till he can get you in bed.
“If we rush, I can get us there in thirty minutes,” he offers.
Reaching up, you cup your hand around the back of his neck and pull him down for a final kiss. He moans and holds you tighter, wanting more, wanting to rip you apart and have his way.
You push back after a long moment and wink.
“Better make it twenty…”

Just what is the secret to the Mazda RX7′s furious combination of no torque and smooth-as-butter revs to the moon? Bees.
Long ago, Mazda was once a mere cork-maker in Hiroshima. After some dalliances in weapons engineering and piston-based automobiles, Mazda engineers came across the works of Felix Wankel in a large lot of Nazi crap being auctioned off by the Allies as part of a white elephant sale to earn money to rebuild their hometown. The rotary engine was great, but it was missing something.
Mazda engineers quickly realized that they would need more grunt, a smaller rotating mass, and a bigger swept area. And bees. The 12A (A for Apiary) was born. To the perpetual anger of NSU engineers who foolishly constructed their engine’s apex seals out of metal and composites, Mazda equipped every RX7 with a harem of angry bees. As the engine was revved, the resulting friction would generate heat, which made the bees grow angrier and push against the rotor even harder. This produces torque, but more importantly the ridiculously loud tooth-grinding scream that rotaries are famous for.
There was just one problem: Japanese bees are much larger than North American bees, and much more productive. Americans refused to trust a motor that wasn’t as lazy as they were. In an attempt to allay their fears, Mazda soon enlarged the engine in order to localize it for the US market, and the 13B (B for Bee) was born. A turbocharger could now be added in order to cool off these bees with its impressive fan blades, allowing them to get angry, cool off, and then get angry again within the span of a single engine rotation. This improved the lifespan of the insects, and the media marvelled that you could now get almost two hundred miles out of a single set of apex seals.
It wouldn’t take long for the aftermarket to capitalize on the idea, enlarging the side ports of the engine to make it possible for the RX7′s thermal reactor to dump in even more bees per rotation. In the ensuing confusion as governments tried to ban these bee-filled wedge cars, Mazda rushed to produce as many new vehicles as they could with a rotary engine slammed between the frame rails. One, a mini-bus known as the Parkway, produced headlines when a group of curious schoolchildren accidentally opened the thermal reactor of the Mazda, releasing the bees and killing hundreds.
After a series of government inquiries, Mazda closed ranks, emerging a decade later with a new rotary engine. In the Renesis series of Wankel-esque motors, genetically-altered American bees were bred for lightness and emissions (bee farts are bad for the environment). This makes the engines very difficult to repair, as shade tree mechanics can no longer just grab a handful of buzzers from their local roadside hive and cram them down the oil fill hole in order to restore compression.

Even if you don't know who Joel Rifkin is, you're going to feel like you have heard this story before. He was born January 20th, 1959. At 3 weeks, he was adopted by a middle class family from East Meadow, New York. He performed poorly in school due to learning disabilities and was socially awkward, making him unpopular. Rifkin went to community college but dropped out, after which he worked as a self-employed landscaper (such a serial killer thing to do). His murder spree began in '89, when he solicited, strangled and dismembered a prostitute, Heidi Balch, in his East Meadow apartment. He then proceeded to murder at least 8 women, all prostitutes. He has confessed to 17, which is much more likely than the 9 he was convicted for. . On June 24, 1993, Rifkin picked up Tiffany Bresciani, a prostitute who was working on Allen Street in Manhattan. Tiffany was with her boyfriend, punk rock musician Dave Rubinstein at the time and told Rubinstein that she would return in 20 minutes. After failing to return, Rubinstein called the police with a description of the 1984 Mazda pickup truck driven by Rifkin. . On June 28, 1993, two troopers with the New York State Police were patrolling Long Island's Southern State Parkway when they noticed Rifkin's pickup truck. A high-speed chase ensued which ended when Rifkin crashed into a utility pole in Mineola, directly in front of the courthouse where he would stand trial. Troopers arrested Rifkin after detecting a foul smell stemming from the back of the truck and found Bresciani's decaying body under a tarp. . Rifkin was subsequently sentenced to 203 years in prison. . How generic and default does this sound to you? And do you like this sketch?😃 . . . #joelrifkin #serialkiller #lastpodcastontheleft #truecrime #eastmeadow #sketchbook #coloredpencil #portraitdrawing #tekening #figurativeart (at East Meadow, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/B4c9ag8B6d7/?igshid=11bjw8gjbwnay

Top 10 of the Coolest (and Strangest) Cars at Mazda’s Museum in Germany
Augsberg, Germany — a small city about an hour west of Munich — is the last place you’d expect to find a Mazda museum. And yet that’s the home of Frey’s Mazda Classic Car Museum, one of the cleanest and most complete Mazda collections in the world. Housed in a former streetcar maintenance shed, Frey’s collection includes everything from an original three-wheel MazdaGo autorickshaw to Felix Wankel’s own Mazda RX-7. The museum rotates their display cars regularly, so no two trips to the museum are guaranteed to be the same. Here are 10 of the coolest vehicles we saw at Frey’s. 1962 Mazda Carol Like other Japanese manufacturers, Mazda got its start in the car business building tiny 360-cc “kei” cars for the Japanese domestic market. Mazda was unusual in that it used four-cycle engines instead of the typical two-stroke engines found in other kei cars. The 1962 Carol went even further in that its rear-mounted engine had four cylinders instead of two — and with a 1.8” bore and 2.1” stroke, that made it one of the smallest four-bangers ever made. 1969 Mazda Luce R130 Rare and beautiful: That’s the best way to describe the Luce R130, which originally made its debut at the 1967 Tokyo Motor Show as the RX87 Coupe. The production version had a two-disc rotary engine that drove the front wheels. This was Mazda’s flagship model, and it was known in Japan as the “Lord of the Road.”  1972 Mazda Pathfinder XV-1 When you think of the Pathfinder, you probably think of Nissan, right? Turns out the original Pathfinder was a Mazda! The Pathfinder XV-1 was a 4×4 built for and in Burma (now Myanmar), where it was introduced in 1970. It was designed with police, government and armed services in mind, though some found their way to civilian customers. It could be had with either a soft or hard top and seating for up to nine. This is one of the most obscure Mazda models ever made, one that is virtually unheard of in Europe and North America. The Frey Museum’s pristine example was built in 1972.  1975 Mazda Roadpacer AP One of the most unusual vehicles at Frey’s is the Roadpacer, which was built in cooperation with General Motors. It was based on the Holden HJ-series Premier (Holden is GM’s Australian division), but instead of the inline-six and V8 engines that powered Australian-market HJs, the Roadpacer had — of course — a twin-rotor Wankel engine, not unlike what you’d get in a contemporary RX-7. Mazda tried to sell it as an executive limousine in Japan, but without much success — just 800 examples were built. The RX-4 is the export version of the Luce, and this car, with its big bumpers and vinyl-covered roof, was built for the American market. Options for U.S.-spec RX-4s included an automatic transmission and air conditioning, both of which would have undoubtedly taxed the 115 horsepower twin-rotor engine. 1976 Mazda Parkway Yes, Mazda made a bus, and yes, you could get it with a rotary engine. The Parkway 26 minibus could seat up to 26 passengers, and its 13B twin-rotor engine produced 135 horsepower, enough to get the Parkway up to 120 km/h (about 75 mph), though getting there took quite a while. Mercifully, Mazda also offered the Parkway with conventional gasoline and diesel piston engines. This is the 13-seat “first class” version, and it’s operable — the Museum still uses it for outings, and they say it’s dreadfully slow. ALSO SEE: Mazda Confirms New Rotary Concept Car for Tokyo Motor Show 1992 Mazda Eunos Cosmo The Eunos Cosmo was Mazda’s top-end luxury coupe for the Japanese market, and it really was the car of the future. Introduced in 1990, it featured the world’s first car-mounted GPS navigation system along with a color touchscreen for climate and infotainment controls. Even the rotary engine was unique: The Eunos Cosmo offered Mazda’s first and only three-rotor engine. Equipped with twin sequential turbochargers, it delivered 300 horsepower, though Mazda claimed only 280. 1993 Mazda 323 GT-R 4WD Japan and Europe often got hot-rod versions of cars that never made it to the U.S., and such is the case with the 323 GT-R 4WD (another name that would later be usurped by Nissan). Sold to the public in order to meet production requirements for Mazda’s Group A and Group N rally vehicles, the 323 GT-R 4WD featured a turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that produced 185 hp and — as the name implies — drove all four wheels. Just 500 were sold in Germany. North America did get an all-wheel-drive version of the Protégé, but its 1.8-liter engine lacked a turbocharger. 1993 Mazda Xedos 6 When Toyota was cooking up Lexus, Nissan was readying Infiniti, and Honda was launching Acura, Mazda was considering its own luxury brand, to be called Amati. Plans were scrubbed, but had they come to fruition, this would have been the entry-level Amati 300. Instead, it was sold in Japan as the Eunos 500 and Europe as the Xedos 6. (Eunos and Xedos were luxury sub0brands.) What would have been Amati’s mid-size car, the Amati 500, went to Europe as the Xedos 9 and North America as the Mazda Millennia. The Xedos 6 was smaller and featured a choice of 1.6- and 1.8-liter four-cylinder engines as well as 1.8- and 2.0-liter V6s. Would the Amati 300 have sold well in North America? It might have been ahead of its time, but it presaged the compact luxury cars that are gaining in popularity today. 2003 Mazda MX-5 Coupe A lot of Mazda fans are pleased that the brand is now producing a coupe version of the Miata — but few realize that the MX-5 RF isn’t the first. Back in 2002 and 2003, Mazda produced this slick fixed-roof Miata for the Japanese market. Only 200 were built, which makes it one of the rarest MX-5 variants out there. Hybrid Minivan Availability In The Marketplace
With every one of the styles of vehicles turning out in half and half forms, decisions in crossover minivan are still hard to come by. One needs to ask why the automakers are centered around making vehicles, SUVs and such, however not minivans. These cutting edge forms of the old station wagons are a useful pillar for developing families, with their extra room and adequate seating choices.
Toyota was supposed to discharge a half and half form of its Sienna minivan in 2008, yet it doesn't appear to be accessible yet. They have discharged a half breed Estima, a littler minivan than the Sienna, in Japan as it were. Actually, they made the first Estima crossover path in 2001, at that point totally overhauled it in 2007. Ideally one of these vehicles will hit the North American market inside a couple of years.
The Estima accessible in Japan has seating for eight travelers, and can quicken from 0 to 60 mph in 8 seconds. hybrid led it is accounted for to be agreeable and have ample stockpiling, just as being a dependable vehicle. The more up to date ones have a high yield, high productivity, four-chamber, 2.4 liter motor.
Toyota has driven the path in crossover vehicles, with the Prius vehicle being the most conservative half breed vehicle accessible in North America. They additionally have the Camry, somewhat roomier vehicle, and the Highlander, a game utility vehicle, accessible in half and half.
So starting at the present moment, the US minivan purchaser has a decision between an affordable non-half breed minivan or a little SUV. The best gas mileage you can get with a minivan is the Mazda 5, which has a rating of 22 mpg in the city and 28 miles for each gallon for parkway driving. These figures are for the model with standard 5-speed manual transmission and a four chamber motor. Costs start at $17,995 for this six traveler family vehicle.
Complexity that to the Ford Escape Hybrid, which seats five, however gets 34 miles to the gallon in the city and 30 on the thruway. On the off chance that you do for the most part parkway driving, you could get by pretty much also with the non-crossover Mazda. Obviously, there might be charge impetuses for purchasing a cross breed, yet the beginning cost is much more, at about $26,000.
Half and halves are enticing, yet recall that they truly are progressively useful for the individuals who live in the city than for the individuals who live in the nation, at any rate for the present. Nation families are still happier with a little minivan like the Mazda 5. Practically all different minivans get around 16 miles to the gallon nearby and 23 miles to the gallon on the roadway. Other flex fuel minivans are accessible that can consume ethanol. Among these is the Chevy Uplander.

Německé město Augsburg má bohatou historii z hlediska technického vývoje a průmyslu už od 19. století. Sídlila zde společnost Messerschmitt, proslavená výrobou letadel a leteckých komponent, a v roce 1840 zde byla založena společnost MAN, jež patří k největším výrobcům užitkových vozidel. Fanouškům osobních automobilů je Augsburg známý hlavně kvůli evropskému muzeu značky Mazda, které vybudoval nadšenec a sběratel Walter Frey.
Walter Frey otevřel muzeum Mazda Classic – Automobil Museum Frey v roce 2016 v prostorách bývalého tramvajového depa na okraji centra města. Sbírka muzea dává nahlédnout do historie japonské značky a obsahuje nejdůležitější modely její minulosti. Společnost Auto Frey, která provozuje muzeum, má k automobilce velmi blízko, protože od roku 1978 funguje jako oficiální zastoupení Mazdy v Německu a patří k nejstarším evropským dealerům.

Pan Frey začal zakládat svou sbírku Mazd před přibližně čtyřiceti lety, když si v roce 1980 koupil v New Jersey první starou Mazdu.
„Rotary club“ muzea doplňují Mazdy RX-7 všech generací, RX-2, RX-3, kombík RX-4, Cosmo AP/RX-5, Luce Rotary, odtahový vůz Rotary Pickup a autobus Mazda Parkway z roku 1976, který dokáže pojmout až 26 cestujících. Z ostatních exponátů nesmíme zapomenout na Mazdu R360, která byla prvním osobním automobilem značky, a malý kei car Autozam AZ-1.
Adresu muzea, otevírací dobu, ceny vstupného a další informace naleznete na oficiálních internetových stránkách.
