Hi! I was looking through your tag for faeu. and I'm IN LOVE with this au! Especially swap sans. Im intrigued by the idea that he's conflicted by his deceptive nature as a fae. Would it be okay if I asked for more of his back story?

of course! there's no real backstory per say, but here's some more insight into him.

Blue holds honesty in high regard, even if he can't lie as a fae. However, he's also loyal to Dream. So while he will trick humans into staying in the fae realm, he doesn't revel in it like most other fae do. He'll befriend you genuinely, without using tricks and riddles to get things from you, and if you do accidentally offer something to him he won't hold you to it. As time goes on though, he will inevitably have to betray you to follow Dream's orders to make you stay. He'll feel absolutely terrible about it, but hey! At least he has eternity to make it up to you.

He appreciates the gesture, but the only way that he'd get out of his duty is if you decided to stay in the fae realm willingly. Pretend tricks unfortunately don't cut it.

Watson's honest face was twitching with anxiety. He knew only too well the immense risks taken by Holmes and was well aware that what he said was more likely to be under-statement than exaggeration. Watson was always the man of action, and he rose to the occasion.

Love to see that Watson is rather prone to face journeys, which is certainly helpful for Holmes’ mind-reading hobby.

Also love that as soon as Watson hears Holmes is in danger he is already hoisting steel chairs in his mind.
