So what exactly is the family dynamic between Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Seelkadoom, etc?

Sonic & Shadow: Husbands, married and might wanna expand their family with some kids. Sonic has been secretly dropping hints that he's ready for kids but Shads doesn't get them. Which causes Sonic's frustration.

Scourge: 2nd husbando of Shadow and sereclty wants Sonic out of the picture to get the Ultimate Husbando-Form for himself. Only Shads do be loyal to Sonic for not drpping him, but the two eventually hook up as well. Sonic is isn't all to happy about this, but has to learn to live with Scourge as much as Scourge has to live with Sonic.

Mayhem: Sonic's youngest brother turned evil. Hangs around alot with Scourge, for being the Green Goobers they are. Treats him like a brother since he misses the family bond he once had. Hates Sonic and will mentally damage him every time he gets the chance. The two never got to speak eye-to-eye and the tention is THICK when they are in the same room. He also cut ties with Sonia. Everything that reminds him of the family that abandoned him, needs to rot and die.

Nazo and Seelkadoom: POWER COUPLE. Looking fresh and one of the most healthiest relationships. People thought they couldn't stand each other for ''I wan to the world and no one can beat me'' attitude, but WHOOPS, look at who's already married, wealthy and happily living out their best lives!

Knuckles & Rouge: BF & GF, although sometimes don't seem to get eye-to-eye, still madly in-love with each other.

Tails: Is like a younger brother to Sonic and will do everything in his power to pretect him, always has his back. Does live with Silver.

Silver and Blaze: Dating, still trying to find the best ways to communicate and have fun. Blaze is more protective over him, but Silver wants to have his confidence. Blaze just needs time to sit back and relax.

Amy & Surge: Married, who would think?! Since Amy has caught the eyes of Surge, she calmed down.... JUST A LITTLE. Amy does know how to manage her anger and always reminds her of the consequences her actions might have.

Life reversion is an interesting idea. I haven’t thought about that.

but my heart can’t help but feel for Mayhem in this scenario. If everything is erased from Scourge and reset then the brother he knew is gone forever aaahhhhhhhhh 😭 I can’t see him taking it well. Or maybe it’s just me!

THIS IS SCARRY CAUSE I'VE JUST THOUGHT ABOUT THIS.

He tried so hard to let Scourge stay, to try mend hom back together, or at least keep him as how he remembered him. His ways of trying to solve this only would make things worse, only for the group to finally make the last resort plan go into action.

It's such a bittersweet moment for May, cause he knows it would be better for Scourge to get the hard-reset, but also knows that he can never get that one person back that mattered to him.

It even hits harder that, after Scourge's reset, he would even notice Sonic and Scourge getting on normal terms again, only stabbing the knife deeper.

Revision!Scourge still would get vague dreams about some moments. And when he tries to reach out to Mayhem, "Cause he has this feeling of a close connection with him.", Mayhem knows that it would be for the best to keep his mouth shut, almost reverting back to his ways before he became Mayhem. Keeping quiet and follow the orders that you've been told.

The group do try their best to keep em separate, but Revision!Scourge can't shake this feeling of Mayhem needing to be there. Sonic strongly suggesting against it when Rev!Scourge (little shorter name xD, might go for Patch as well ;3 🔥🔥) talks to him about wanting Mayhem to be there.

Not sure yet how it would play out further down the line, but there's gonna be a floodgate of emotions going on

Scourge's biggest weakness is Manic's brownies.

On one hand, they taste absolutely divine. True perfection in a baked good, and they also have soft-baked chocolate chip cookie dough mixed into it.

On the other hand... yeah, these are Manic's brownies we're talking about. One bite and you're having conversations with the Hat Man.

On an unrelated note; Scourge just ate half a tin of these brownies and is tripping balls in the living room, muttering something about the Sampo.

If you think pre-evil Manic's brownies are a mix of disaster, wait until you've had Mayhem's brownies. One sniff of the "Oh something smells frigging divine in here, what are you making?" and you're instantly moon walking 💀💀💀

I have a question, how did Scourge and Mayhem meet? Did they identify with each other or something like that?

No need to worry, haven't been asked about them meeting yet ✨️✨️

Tbh, I think they met when they both where at the lowest point in their lives. Manic has been traveling eversince his siblings made him an outcast and steals to get by. Scourge, when he's already a few years out of jail, and you can imagine how low his life was then.

Manic did had a home or at least a place to stay. When the two met during one of the odd jobs, they kinda felt connected at one point. Sharing interests and a mutual friendship. As weeks turned to month, and even to years, the bond turned into a brotherly one.

During this whole time, Scourge didn't knew Manic was Sonic's little brother but one time Manic finally told him the truth. This did cause some troubles between them and for them not to be able to be in reach of each other (mainly Scourge). He thinks Sonic is just setting him up to fail again.

Eventually Scourge does get a life, although be it very basic and still not on the right side of the law. He would find out this Mayhem person that has been having planned multiple assassinations on the crown and hacked the whole entire public system for a whole day. Taking a liking to the kid, Scourge tries his best to find him. Only Mayhem can't and will not be found if you look for him, he will come to you.

One stunt does get Mayhem get caught and he's thrown into jail. Scourge finds out trough some of his inside sources and makes sure that he's there when Mayhem gets released.

When released, the two of them would finally meet and after a long time of them casually meeting, Mayhem breaks the ice that he used to be Manic, but that Manic died long ago. Seeing a lot of himself in Mayhem, Scourge does take Mayhem in and the two would slowly rebuild the bridge that was burned.

So what is the Delirium au?

To put it shortly:

Scourge comes back from the dead, only for him to remember how he died and how it felt like. It causes him to have real bad nightmares which causes his sleep deprivation to go off. And it worsens the longer it goes on. Screwing with his mind to the point he can't tell reality from hallucinations. And his super form is one of his worst hallucinations.

The group around him, especially Mayhem who's like a brother to him, try to keep him in check or let him get SOME sleep, but in some cases, the sleep deprivation is too much to handle and make the green goblin go berserk.

Here’s another take for an ending that could happen with Scourge. It’s gonna be a heavy one, warning y’all now, but here it goes. 

Drained ending:

No choice. It’s all or nothing. Everyone is worn down, and Scourge is on the brink of destroying everything. A grim solution is made, where the group must get rid of the remaining anarchy beryl festering in his body. Even though they are well aware that Scourge will die once it’s been removed in his state. 

In his final moments, as the harmful energy gets drained, Scourge looks at Mayhem and Sonic, his bloodshot irises that were filled with hatred, fear, and pain eventually melt into the blue eyes they once knew. A resigned sadness at his fate but also immense relief that his terrible nightmare he’s been living in for so long is finally coming to an end. For a brief moment, he smiles at them as if to express gratitude.  

He shifts his gaze to the stars above him, whispering something, but by then, no one can hear him. His body then crumbles into dust.  

However, there’s a glowing core that remains behind. (Sonic universe Silver Saga issue 26, for reference and info.)

Turns out that Nazo (or anyone else that has profound experience with chaos powers) at the last second, manages to compress Scourge’s remaining life force into one. 

For a while Mayhem and the group are at a loss on what to do with this orb, so they turn to Zonic for answers. 

Zonic tells them that if they release Scourge’s core into a cosmic river, he’ll live out his next life as a new being immediately. Could be reborn as another version of Sonic, another hedgehog, or even as another species entirely. 

Maybe they’ll see him one day again, years and years later. But the group collectively agrees that it’s best that no one searches for him. Sonic gives Mayhem the similar advice of letting go of someone you love. Regardless of whichever zone he ends up in, to let him live out his life without any past ties. 

Sayonara, Scourge the Hedgehog. 

(….Okay, I don’t think endings are my strong suit, but I tried.)

I do think Nazo would have the capability to turns Scourge's core into the glowy orb. Having to have them go to Zonic all the way is putting even more weight to it. And when they are finally at the river, most of them are relieved and happy to give him another chance in life.

Mayhem would fall apart from having to let go of him. He's happy for Scourge to finally be rid of the pain and suffering, to have peace and a fresh restart. But it's almost like the cycle restarts again, leaving him on his own. Although Sonic and the others would be there to comfort him, it flipped a switch in his mind that; "Why even bother to make new connections or regain old ones, for it always ending to having to say goodbye or getting left alone?"

When weeks, months or maybe years pass, they could potentially cross paths again. It's both a blessing and a curse. Mayhem kept his mindset that way for the time being but, seeing Scourge, it would break down his mental walls and unleash the floodgates of emotions upon him. Should he interact, ask how he's doing, how's life doing? Hearing the words of the other play back in his mind, he's at a crossroads. It's a one life opportunity, hecc, they might never see each other again after this. But knowing what's at stake, deep down May knows that it would do Scourge more harm than good.

Those mere seconds of Scourge passing by, living out his deserved life, the both of them look at each other. Almost trying to talk to May, Scourge would see him walk away. Having a slight familiar feeling, he almost wanted to reach out to Mayhem, asking him if he knew the guy. Eventually, he wouldn't be able to reach him and shakes off the feeling a little. Shrugging, Scourge would resume his way as well.

Now something came to mind about Mayhem and Scourge

I believe that Mayhem had a very strong idea of being inferior to his brothers, especially Sonic, who couldn't see that he also has his flaws

And when he met Scourge, he finally realized that, that Sonic is not perfect 24 hours a day, there is no such thing as a perfect person

No one's perfect, right? Mayhem always thought Sonic would be this "picture perfect poster boy", but meeting and bonding with Scourge showed him that not all Sonic's are this clean cut Rank S flawless. And it's super healthy to witness this.

So uh, softness time regarding Nazo in the revision! Au

I feel like that if silver or mephiles are struggling with their powers, keeping him down or reversing his mind, Nazo would step beside them and kind of “transfer” his energy over to them.

In the instance of scourge becoming a little baby, Nazo’s the first to dash over and catch the little thing before he drops to the ground. He’d also probably be about to cry when he sees the sleeping baby. It’s of relief honestly, knowing his friends and loved ones are safer now.

In another instance, if the reversion didn’t work , and nazo would have to step in. He’d probably be just as inconsolable as mayhem, just in a different way. After all, it was very similar how shadic delt with him, and the last thing he wanted was to see someone go out in the way he did.

Regardless, it’s probably the last time he actively uses his perfect form, or a lot of his chaos abilities. As he begins to think about retiring from villainy to help care for the little baby as a primary guardian with Iris and seelka. After all, he’s aware this is all deeply rooted trauma that goes well into childhood abuse from his father. He’s aware of how he was, and how cream is with his influence. (Due to nazo babysitting cream a lot, cream began setting down more proper boundaries and making more mature decisions. Even for a little baby rabbit, he’s impressed-)

Maybe if the three of them could raise him right, maybe he’ll turn out to be an amazing leader.. and hell, maybe he’ll change the world for the better..?

Well, regardless of who cares for him, Nazo’s gonna give the kiddo the best life possible. After all, he has the money, influence, and connections to do it. He did it once before with Iris, and he’ll be happy to do it again!

Speaking of Iris, she actually does let go of her resentment for scourge once she finds out that he’s a baby. She herself understands what happens to children under abuse in any situation, and is willing to take responsibility for the mother role in his life. Because all kids deserve happy, loving, providing homes. What happened was the old him, one who hurt her lover. Now he’s a kid in need of love and care. Who is she to hold grudges against a kid?

(Also, I revised some of the ✨au with no name✨ story wise. It’s mainly just the introduction chapters, but yea, feel free to check out my latest post!)

OCEAN LEVELS ARE RISING CAUSE MY LORD I CANT HOLD BACK THE FLODWORKS CAUSE OF THIS. Nazo pulling up as his Perfect Form to help out with saving Scourge made me loose my SHIET. Especially to hold little Scourge in his hands is djfhfkdpxocjbdwldpdj 😭😭😭

Iris being mom to raise him? My heart can't handle it, ITS SO FRIGGING CUTE. I can totally understand she's mad at him for hurting her loved ones, but taking 1 look into the eyes if the child, it almost acts like a mirror to her.

It’ll be a while until whoever is desperate enough to help Scourge to come across Silver, (depending which Silver too…) but once they do, Silver is pulling all the solutions in his book after he gets a proper explantation. Restraining a normal Scourge and sending him into temporary stasis is no problem to him after all. For everyone’s sake.

((also Scourge destroyed his future favorite candy shop and he’s not having that / j ))

Still thinking of a possible permanent solution, something with going into Scourge’s mind. The process is risky though for both Silver and Scourge so it has to be a last resort thing. Hopefully Scourge improves first before getting to that point.

So Scourge has some chance in recovering completely, it’s just that the ride ain’t gonna be easy to hop off. 

Silver being the one who can guide Scourge to mentally heal is P E R F E C T!! 😍 Do think Mayhem would eventually turn to Silver to help him out getting his brother back. He can't stand seeing him go to the abyss without even at least pulling out all the stunts and people he CAN ask for help.

(Also Silver will still make Scourge eat dirt after he destroyed his favorite candy store, dont worry about that 💀💀💀)

For the last chance and it being the final result is something that suits both Scourge and Silver. Silver is so mentally strong and knows how to heal, in my head Canon at least. He can be baby, but he sure knows how to heal and fight at the same time 🫶💚💚

Scourge in that state would put off a lot of people he’s known in his life. And if they try to get into the root of his problem, they’re not going to understand where the actual fuck he’s coming from. Because to them, it never happened in the first place. 

“But I know it happened. I was there, I could feel it.” Scourge who is trembling violently, staggering towards the person, feeling angry and hurt at their utter refusal to believe him. 

Thus he feels even more isolated and justified to stay awake as long as possible. 

(Idk if Sonic should actually know or be ignorant like everyone else would be. Even so I don’t think he would be able to help Scourge, he’s got his own people to look after, and will absolutely prioritize their safety over his issues anyway. It’ll be terrible either way, knowing that your worst enemy is the indirect cause of your severe mental breakdowns.) 

So yeah, he’s burned some bridges for sure because of this shit. The one of the few I see sticking with Scourge through all this would be Mayhem. Mainly because he wouldn’t ditch someone at their worst, not like how his siblings did to him. And that’s his brother suffering too, man! But he’s not entirely good at this helping thing and talking about it seems to get them nowhere, so he helps either by slipping in some sleeping pills in his food or drinks, makes him drink booze, reassures him that they’ll both be here even if Scourge goes to sleep, or in desperate situations immediately deck him unconscious with no warning. 

He’s gotten hurt a couple of times for sure, but to him, what’s a couple bites compared to the living hell that Scourge is going through? He may not understand entirely, yet the pain is still very real to his brother so he’s gonna try his best to be there for him when he can be. 

YOU GOT THIS DOWN TO THE TEA!

Hecc yes, Mayhem is gonna throw himself into a burning building if he has to safe his brother-from-another-mother. Scourge helped his ass out when he was in the dumps and Mayhem is there for him and even more. Not that his helping does much, but he can't go an leave Scourge behind like that. He's one of the people sticking besides him even after the end.

Even though Scourge hurts him, mentally and physically, putting him through the ringer as well, the bond he shares with him is one of unconditional brotherly love.

At some point, Sonic would try to convince Mayhem to drop Scourge, that he's beyond helping and a lost cause. Mayhem would defend Scourge, telling Sonic, "What the hell kind of brother do you take me for? Abandoning pieps in their worst moment of need is more your style."

I don't know all that well about Manic tbh besides him being Sonic's brother, a thief, and that he's from Sonic Underground.

but l imagine he would laughed at Sonic whenever his brother got into stupid shit. Tease back and forth about it. Sonic sometimes did it intentionally to cheer him up. Y'know, silly wholesome brother stuff.

...Mayhem hadn't laughed like that in a good while, so one day Scourge, like the tryhard dork he is, attempts to impress him being a cool brother and fails at it miserably (idk you think of the scenario). He just laughs, harder than he has in years to the point of tears, and Scourge is about to take offense but even he sees it's not out of being malicious. Later that night, Mayhem teases him about it again, but not before telling him that he’s made him smile for a long while something that Sonic himself hasn’t been able to do since they were children.

Scourge holds the memory of those words very strongly since then. ( He secretly hopes he gets to gloat about it to Sonic later without sounding sappy about it.)

NOT ME CRYING OVER THE FACT THAT THOSE TWO IDIOTS ARE HAVING A HEALTHY BROTHER BOND THAT CAN MAYBE HELP THEM HEAL FROM ALL THE TRAUMA THAT HAS BEEN SLAPPING THEM IN THE FACE OVER THE YEARS - wait what?

This is SO GAWDANM precious. They need and deserve some good times as well. They might be bad, but to each other? Brothers through and through.

I mentioned before Iwas working on a comic, well its about this whole ordeal~

Of course my boii Scourge is gonna rub this stuff into Sonic's face, hecc, Mayhem joining him telling Sonic, "He's the best brother he had ever wished for and Sonic should learn to be as good as him", really adds salt to Sonic's already damaged wound. He would watch as his younger brother stands beside his enemy, no more feelings for him behind those eyes as they leave through a portal ring

I have a concept about them in my head, that when Scourge found out that Sonic is Manic's brother, he wanted to prove that he is a better brother than Sonic

Even though Scourge is a bit of a... Questionable person

At least he understands better that Manic is tired of being in Sonic's shadow, and tired of being considered naive who can't stand alone, just because he's the youngest

I imagine Scourge will try to act like a super cool older brother to Manic

Manic/Mayhem being a younger brother, he does look up to Scourge. Which does stroke his ego ALOT. It kinda reminded him back of when he was king.

Although later on, Mayhem would get better in things and Scourge sees Mayhem as a true adult hedgehog as well. Instead of looking up to Scourge, they both of them have a shared respect for each other and will kill the person that will stand in their way (with the occasional teasing and general sibling behavior ✨️✨️🤣)

Hello it's me again! The idler who talked about Manic being a questionable person

I enjoyed telling you about it and decided to talk more

Will it be good or bad? A mix of the two

If there's one of the Sonic Underground episodes that I really like, it's the one where Manic takes care of a baby

Mainly because he tried so hard to take care of that baby, "why did he do that since he doesn't care about his responsibilities?" In my ask, that's not exactly what I meant

He cares, his only problem is that he hates being the wrong one, the one to blame, because he's been making mistakes for a long time, he can't take the blame anymore, especially because of his past

(which was not his choice to live in a lower class, living like a thief to support his adoptive father)

He wants to be like Sonic, "never makes mistakes", at least in his view

So much so that in all the shit he did in Sonic Underground, it was always with good intentions, which leads him to have thoughts that he is useless

But going back to the case of the baby, he took such good care of it, not because his brothers told him to or anything like that, Manic saw himself in the baby

A baby who was abandoned and fell on the bad side of Mobius

This encouraged him to take very good care of Hip (the baby), so that he doesn't have a bad childhood like he did

This my friends, is the good side of Manic

Despite his mistakes, he was in his redemption phase

OMG I CAN REMEMBER THAT EPISODE!!! Broke my heart to see te two of them together 🥲🥲🥲 Gonna put Sonic Underground on my rewatch-list as well, it almost feels like a fever dream to me xD

Manic wanting to be as good as Sonic, looking up to him and wanting to have the same as what he has, OOFS.

To add a little spice as well: What if Manic DID do a genuine good thing, but people give Sonic all the praise for it? Manic wanting to explain to them it was him, but Sonia and Sonic telling him ''it's best to let Sonic get the spotlight, to not confuse the people even more.'' Also adding that Manic can't handle that kind of responsability to handle so many people at onces.

He agrees with it for the first few years. Only to turn sour after Sonic and Sonia forgetting that MANIC was the one who saved people from burning buildings, MANIC was the one helping the not-so-lucky residents of the lower city. This might be the beginning of him turning into Mayhem 👀👀

This whole thing about Mayhem and Scourge made me imagine Scourge finding Mayhem totally stoned while wearing a princess dress

And Mayhem would be considered more "sensible" than Scourge
