fuuuck do I have a love fetish or is this compersion. because honestly compersion could be legitimately bad for my mental health. If i stop being a hopeless romantic and start being vicarious i might genuinely have nothing else to push me forward.

ironic that searching for something i massively lacked could be the replacement for one of it’s central benefits.

never mind that i predicated this on the idea that i will never be loved, so searching for it is good enough to use instead of love to prop up my mental health along with talking to myself and closing my eyes when I’m negatively overstimulated, although specification is unnecessary because my sense of touch and heat and smell are completely shit and I’m definitely not getting a date.

Apparently, my decision to be silly and make fanart of someone's writing (because I genuinely enjoy the story the person is writing and I was struck with inspiration upon reading a particular scene) has benevolent and wildly unforeseen consequences.

I apparently gained a bit of control of the canon because said writer really loved the art and decided what I drew/draw is canon.

2. Writer put said artwork into the document of his story right below the scene, so now it's IN the story where people who read the story will see it (with a link to me)

3. He sent the artwork to all his friends and people he knows because he was so excited

Wholesome interaction and I watched him do all that in real time, good stuff. However...there are two more consequences I was notified of today...nearly a full week after I gave the artwork.

Seeing the artwork caused his friends to become interested in reading and hearing about his story, which means more people are reading what he's writing and giving him critique on the story (which he actively asks for).

Apparently, upon seeing the art, his writer friends got a sudden second wind to pick back up writing they'd abandoned for a few months. Because, I quote, "seeing that someone enjoyed {his} writing enough to take the time to make art of it gave them the motivation that maybe THEY can write something that will inspire someone to also create something." I have accidentally caused a writing frenzy among his writer friends and my silly idea to make art for someone has had a butterfly effect for people who I don't even know.

Uhh...I'm pretty sure there's a moral here but I am tired and have a great deal of emotions about this.

Sam and Danny were messing around with some occult books she had gotten and to both their surprise Danny got the spell to work.

Turns out being saturated with ectoplasm during the portal incident lets danny tap into the mana that's all around, and he can do magic.

As an adult he moves out and becomes a traveling mage, mostly doing seances for people and letting them believe he is a scam or not. Usually he can actually get contact with the dead, death magic is his natural affinity after all, but skeptics will be skeptics ya know.

One day he had his whole spiel set up in Gotham, the people here lose loved ones all the time and would gladly pay him to hear their dear nana once again, or get their mothers secret recipe, or say one final goodbye to their spouse.

What danny didn't expect was a certain mr wayne showing up asking about his parents.

What he double didn't expect was one of his other customers of the day being John Constantine

What he triple didn't expect is The Batman inviting him to be a consult and detective for murder cases with his seances

Tldr; danny figures out he can do magic after the portal incident. Becomes a real mage who pretends to do fake seances, and is now hired as murder case consult by the batman, while hiding that he's a real magician, and also hiding he is dead himself

If anyone happens to see this, here are some suggestions.

Always Always Always check clearance! I've been able to get things from Midnight hour from their clearance section for about $14.

Many of these places have sales at the beginning of the season. Usually a clearance sale of their last season's products.

I used to have issues with spending. I just loved to shop but I've finally managed to get my habits under control and I buy about to or three outfits a year now. One of the things I did was find nice things I like and set aside money I could from my pay checks and then buy those pieces when I had the money. (And pray that no calamity happened and I'd have to use that money for something else!) I have my eye on that grave yard cardigan from MH when it comes back into stock.

Etsy... it was once a great place to buy hand made items. But now you have to be careful because drop shippers are now using it to sell their wares. You'll have to really look into the seller if you want something home made. I'd love a list of legit etsy sellers.

I also suggest buy nothing groups on facebook. You'll bypass the middle man (thrift shops which some of those are now very expensive) They can be hard to get an item claimed but some let you ask if anyone has an item you need. I got my current bed frame from there. Its also a good place to advertise clothes you might want to donate. You might be allowed to advertise in a lower income neighborhoods buy nothing group if that is something important to you. There have been heavy metals found in Shein clothes. This is why I never liked the argument that Shein is the only company many can afford because those struggling financially any anyone having trouble finding clothes that fit them deserve safe clothing! Yes is can be found in more expensive brands, but at least once its found people will be notified and they can get a refund. With Shein its more buyer beware.

You can also look into clothing swaps in your area.

There is also rent the runway if you need some fancy clothes. I'm not sure where all they are located.
