Climbing and stuff #cause dunmer and altmer etc. have straight nails. they can hit the nail salon

RETURN TO MONKE (PUBERTY EDITION)

MK’s monkey form doesn’t feel right to me so i wanted to break up his transformation into stages. Maybe as he learns to accept that side of himself it becomes part of him, instead of changing between human and monkey randomly (which is probably painful). Love yourself, NOW!!!

#ALSO BECAUSE. THAT BOY NEEDS A NOSE #i like the idea of MK constantly flashing between his monkey and human forms as some sort of internal conflict or identity crisis #and he can’t hold his monkey form for very long soo. I’m going to put way too much thought into it and say its some sort of repression #also I made the hair on the sides of his face more attached or growing on the cheeks so it kind of frames it #maybe it’s because his design is so top heavy on his head and that’s why the sideburns feel wrong to me #like it’s fine with Swk and macaque because their hair is more like a tuft. but MKs hair is longer it just feels less balanced shape wise #I also don’t see his tail being very strong right off the bat because it’s. a new limb so the muscle has to be underdeveloped imo #I’m still a firm believer in the face mark XP system though. that is his Minecraft experience bar fight me #ALSO ALSO going back to him flashing between human and monkey. Chappy 3 centaur time!! Post train crash Toma goes missing (hiding from Catnap, as the redsmoke probably outright kills smaller toys) for most of the chapter, and Player gets a leg injury! No more kicky for them :]

Lots of dream sequences are different, no Kissy Missy attack (though she still does surprise, shes just not trying to maul you this time). Probably Catnap tries to convince the Player to follow the Prototype at some point, idk

I read the stormlight archive for the first time this year and just finished Rhythm of War and it is incredibly funny to me how other people post about moash on sites like tiktok and reddit where basically all that is said is "fuck moash". Meanwhile on tumblr I'm finding the most absolutely gut wrenching and beautiful art of moash and deep, meta analysis on his character I don't really get anywhere else.

I honestly love it - and as someone who read bit by bit and saw fanart and was lightly spoiled until I got to the end it was nice to have the perspective. It's one thing to just blanket hate a character - it's another to get a nuanced take that also takes into account the biases of the author and reader
