Can you imagine a wedding attended 90% by multiple Harry Kims? Adorable.
I know we didn't spend all that long with the crew of the Anaxamander but they give a really nice-if-made-almost-entirely-of-sass vibe. I hope they'll all be okay :)

Big fan of your work. Can I please 🥺🙏 request you do a fix about introducing your male naga boyfriend to your family. His big and intimidating but the family are shocked S/O is dating a monster.
naga!boyfriend x human!Reader Good to know: no warnings
The bright summer sun blazes on the top of the cloudless sky as you and your boyfriend approach your parents' house. The cheerful sounds of laughter, sizzling barbecue, and clinking glasses drift over from behind the familiar building towering behind the white fence you helped to paint down several years ago.
You take a deep breath, feeling the flutter of anxiety in your stomach as you get closer and closer to the open entrance. The scent of grilled meats and vegetables fills the air, mingling with the floral notes from the garden. The family barbecue is always a big event, but this year, instead of excitement, you feel nervous and overwhelmed. There is too big of a chance for everything to go wrong.
"Remember," your boyfriend is the one who breaks the silence, "no matter what they think of me, you and I are a sure thing. We've got this."
You look up at him, meeting his steady gaze and gentle smile. His confidence is contagious, and you feel a bit of the tension in your chest ease. He is right. Maybe your family will have their opinion about the fact that you fell in love with a naga, but it doesn't have to do anything with your relationship.
"I know," you tell him with a deep breath. "It’s just… I don’t want them to make you feel uncomfortable."
The male chuckles softly, slipping his long fingers through yours to squeeze your hand comfortingly. "I appreciate that, but you’ve seen me handle tougher situations. Your family will come around. And if not, well, it’s their loss."
He is right, you remind yourself, yet, for a moment, you hesitate at the front door, taking in the familiar picket fence and the well-tended, colorful flower beds.
“Ready?” You ask, trying to keep your voice steady. The question is unnecessary and more about you than the male waiting beside you patiently.
“Absolutely,” he replies with a confident smile. His eyes sparkle with an easygoing warmth, and his fingers around yours tighten, trying to ease the stress stretching across your chest and belly.
With a deep inhale, you push the front door open, leading him inside. The hallway is lined with family photos, and the faint sound of music mixed with the hum of conversations reaches your ears from the garden in the back. You guide him through the living room, giving him enough time to look around the wooden furniture, dark green couch, and tall bookshelf next to the TV.
"I see where your style comes from," he says, amused. The house is dominated by warm colors and earthy tones. It's comfortable and inviting, and you can't help but relax in the familiar environment.
Finally, you reach the glass door leading to the backyard. The garden is bustling and loud with your family: children run around, laughter rings out from the adults, and the grill crackles with sizzling food. The familiar mix of your father's spices is heavy and mouthwatering in the warm summer air.
Your dad is at the grill, flipping burgers and hot dogs with your uncles surrounding him while your mom is busy with others from your family. Nearby, your grandparents sat in lawn chairs, enjoying the warmth of the day with cool drinks in their hands and keeping one eye on the kids playing around them.
As you and your boyfriend step onto the patio, the lively chatter and laughter of the garden party fall abruptly into silence. The vibrant hum of conversations quiets down, leaving an almost tangible pause in the air. Every head turns toward you and your boyfriend, with expressions shifting from curiosity to surprise. You try to maintain a confident smile, but it feels more like a grimace. The silence stretches, growing heavier with each passing second you stand under their gaze. You can feel the weight of a hundred unspoken questions and unvoiced opinions pressing down on you.
Your boyfriend's squeeze on your hand shakes you up from your stalling.
Clearing your throat, you break the silence finally. “Hey everyone, I’d like you to meet my boyfriend." Your voice wavers slightly as you introduce him.
The male next to you offers a polite smile, his tail shifting slightly behind him. He is nervous too, even though he tries to be calm for you. “It’s a pleasure to meet you all.”
The garden remains eerily quiet, and you can feel the muscles of your face twitch as you try to keep smiling.
No one speaks. The awkwardness grows, making the seconds feel like minutes. Long, long minutes.
The garden’s tense silence hangs in the air as you and your boyfriend still stand at the edge of the patio. The sizzling of the barbecue and the distant noises of the neighborhood seem far off in the background. Someone just arrives a few houses away, their car rumbles through the street. Someone else is busy mowing the grass. You bet all of them have a better time than you.
Just as you begin to worry that the awkwardness might never lift, a sudden burst of squeals pierces through the quiet.
With a small jump at the sudden sound, you look down to see your youngest cousin with tousled hair and chubby cheeks waddling closer and closer to your pair. Her face is flushed from playing and laughing around. Her eyes are wide and shine with wonder as she stares intently at the naga beside you.
The sunlight catches your boyfriend's scales again when he shifts, curling his long tail around himself, casting a dazzling array of colors that shimmered like a living prism. The toddler’s eyes widen even further, and she lets out an enthusiastic squeal. “Oh, pweddy!” She exclaims. Her tiny hands reach out as if to touch the light dancing on the otherwise bluish scales.
Your boyfriend, noticing her delight, crouches down to her level with a gentle smile. His scales shift and sparkle in the sunlight, reflecting a spectrum of vibrant hues. “Hello there,” he says softly, his voice warm and friendly. You can see his expression and posture relax now that he can busy himself with a curious little girl instead of your family's shocked silence. “Do you like the colors?”
Your cousin nods vigorously, her face breaking into a wide grin. She claps her hands and giggles, clearly entranced by the play of light on the long tail. “Magic!” She shouts with glee. Her ponytail bounces on the top of her head and the decor on the tie glitters as she moves.
The sound of her laughter is like a breath of fresh air, breaking the lingering tension. Your family watches with a mix of amusement and relief as the toddler continues to marvel at the spectacle with excited 'ohs' and "ahs' every few seconds. Her chubby fingers slide up and down on your boyfriend's scales while he explains a few things about nagas that may interest the small girl.
"Pretty, huh?" You ask her with a relieved smile on your face.
Your cousin nods, still grinning. "Pink," she points out a few colors that catch her eyes as the rays of the sun dance on the smooth scales.
"Yes," your love nods. "And what is this?" He points at another color.
"Gween."
"That's right!"
"Oh," your mom gasps, adjusting her shirt as if she is just waking up. "Don't just stand there! Come! The food is almost ready!"
And with that, something melts around your family. The silent awkwardness eases until it entirely disappears, and your family starts talking and moving again. A few of them continue their previous conversation while the other come closer to introduce themselves.
"Wanna play?" Your cousin asks, not caring about the adults gathering around her and her new friend. Her small hand is already gripping your boyfriend's finger to pull him with herself.
"I think he will be busy for a while," you tell your mom, smiling at the sight of your male and the little girl as they make their way to the blanket spread out on the grass with toys all over it.
"That's fine," your aunt replies with a wave of her hand. "She ate not long ago. I don't give ten minutes, and she will fall asleep."
She is right. The next time you see your boyfriend, he is next to your father, talking about something with your cousin soundly asleep in his arms.

You dance while cooking in the kitchen, and music playing softly in the background makes you so relaxed. While checking the pots and shredding the cheese to add to your pasta, the door rings, and you run towards the door.
"Hey, beautiful, I missed you.”
Steve hugs your waist and lifts you with a strong grip around your body. You’ve been feeling so alone without him, but you know it’s going to be a couple of busy weeks for him. He leaves pecks on your cheeks and puts you down so he can see your face, his palms cup your cheek, and he presses his lips against yours, not once, not twice but three times.
“I missed you too, c'mon, let’s celebrate!”
He joins you in the kitchen, helping you carry all the plates and food to the dining room and you get a special bottle of fine wine to celebrate with him. You two eat dinner while talking about your day. You tell him how much you want to go back on tour but you’ll miss him so much, and unfortunately, he can’t join you.
You spend the night drinking wine, eating, and talking. It’s so mundane, it’s something that you do with other people, but this time it feels so special. He rubs your hand and takes a sip of wine. Looking at you with that shine in his eyes, you feel so lucky to have him, and he does too.
He takes your hand in his and tugs it softly so you join him, closer. You sit on his lap, tangling your arms around his neck and kissing his face. Steve closes his eyes, letting himself fall in the moment and enjoying how your body presses against his.
“I’m so proud of you, I know you’ll have so much fun” you whisper, your words tangling his skin as you softly nip his earlobe.
“Baby–” Steve lets out a groan, pressing his fingers against your naked thighs and rubbing them slowly.
His touch makes your body fill with electricity, and his hands search for the wet patch between your legs and slowly tease your clothed clit with his finger.
“I can have fun anywhere-“
The alarm goes off, and another night having the same dreadful, hopeful dream. You were so tired, it’s been a week since you've seen him, and you knew it was time to do something about it.
You felt miserable, you kept doom scrolling on your phone and “accidentally” stalking him. You watch gossip accounts from time to time, seeing him in the arms of different girls, and it's funny how they all look like you in some sort of way.
You don’t know if you want him back, but you know this feeling has to stop.
Funny enough, your new album is almost ready. It’s a new thing, you’ve had fun experimenting and finding a new tone. It’s a mix of heartbreaking songs and ballads full of rage, with lyrics that had you mark the words in your notebook so much they bled through the page.
There’s still a week left until you start the next leg of your tour, and you are excited to go back and feel some type of love again. You’ve forgotten what that feels like.
You glance at your phone, it’s 9:00am, just in time for attending that painting class you’ve been taking to distract yourself. Your screen glows with all the unanswered calls and notifications from Robin, Steve and your team.
There has been times when you can handle even the hardest and most strange things that have come in your way, but right now your head is in a flight or fight mode and the usual answer is flight, get away from everyone, set the attention on yourself and maybe you’ll be better. Maybe you’ll start to sleep more than three hours, your skin will stop breaking out, the bags on your eyes will disappear.
But that’s just a maybe, and as your cat jumps out of your bed it’s time to get going.
_
Painting class was fine, it wasn’t a big group and everyone there didn’t really know you. They knew your name but you weren’t close to them, just a couple of brunches and coffee shops here and there.
“Hey! We are going to Mika’s birthday party in case you want to join us” Charlie asks, she’s been one of your favorite people to hang out with even if you aren’t best friends, you still have fun around each other. And what’s more fun than a party full of models?
“I’d love to!” you reply, smiling at her while you pack your things. She’s the one who introduced you to this painting class, and it has been a real change in your life. Connecting with your creative side in a way you’ve never imagined.
“I’ll text you the details, see you soon, babe!”
She blows you a kiss in the air and you do the same, closing your backpack and going out to the back door.
After you got the details to the party, you decided to get ready. The best way to spend the night was in a tiny black dress. The revenge dress. It hugs your body perfectly, showing off your best features and making you feel so sexy and so confident.
As you arrive at the party, everyone starts to welcome you with a bright smile, hugs from some of the models you know and appreciate, they’ve made you feel so included. A thing that didn’t happen so often, you felt so safe and so free. No attachments, no one talking your ear off about how great you are or how jealous they are of you. No negativity, no side eyes, or weird envy looks, just people you can hang out with and drink as if tomorrow will never come.
You ignore another call from Robin and join the group of girls at the bar.
“The first round is on me!” you shout over the music, they all applaud as you get closer to the bar and order a round of tequila.
As you wait for your drinks, a tall figure comes to you. It’s none other than Drew, an actor who has enormous talent and a big career in Hollywood. He is tall, handsome, famous, and a bit older than you.
“Thank you” you shout at the bartender, getting your shots and walking to your table, not after winking at Drew and giving him a smile. He does the same and watches you from afar.
“Sweet! Let's celebrate this birthday the right way!” Mika says, all of you raise your tiny glasses in the air and cheer for the birthday girl before drinking.
The first shot sits just right, it burns your throat as it travels down, and the taste leaves you dreaming of more.
“Another one! another one!" All the girls chant. Charlie goes for the second round, the third, the fourth.
At this point you’ve lost count of how many shots you’ve taken, but it doesn’t matter. You have everything you need, your girls and good music to sway your hips to.
You are on the dance floor, as the dj plays Mika’s favorite songs, and you find a liking for them. They are fast paced, not like your regular songs, they are more disco like with a heavy beat and lyrics that give you even more confidence. This night is perfect.
“Is it me, or Drew has been watching you all night?” Charlie says it in your ear, and you turn around to watch him.
“It’s just you,” you reply.
“If I were you, I'd take the shot. I don’t mean this one” she points at the cup on her hands. “Or maybe do both, you’ll need it”
You’ve drunk enough, but your body yearns for more. It’s the same with the attention, you knew he had been watching you all night, and you’ve been dancing provocatively to catch his attention. You could feel his heavy gaze on you and see the way he was undressing you with his eyes. It felt good, risky, and so...
“Is there something in my face?” You say as you meet him over the bar, he is drinking whiskey, and suddenly your mind starts to play tricks on you.
“No, nothing wrong I mean. You have a beautiful face.”
You giggle like a teenager, finding the seat next to him without ever breaking eye contact. He turns to the side to have a better look at you.
“You have a beautiful face too, i’ve seen it on the big screen.”
He laughs, and his voice is even deeper when he does that.
“You are funny," he says as he finishes his whiskey, leaving the glass on the table and getting closer.
You let him. Because he smells like something you know, but he feels like an entire new world.
“What are the odds of us meeting here? both alone and waiting for a good time?” he says, his voice so deep it charms your socks off. “Do you believe in destiny?”
“I believe in having fun, do you want to dance?” You ask him, forgetting everything he said earlier.
“I don’t dance, but I like to watch,” he confesses.
“Suit yourself,” you shrug, threatening to walk away from him if he doesn’t stop you. As if he were reading your mind, he touches your shoulder ever so slightly, but it feels like a million fires.
“Wait, i’m a terrible dancer, but i’ll try for you”
And there he is. At your feet.
“Join me, handsome” Something very deep inside you hurts at the nickname, but the alcohol and the smell of his cologne blur the feeling.
Your dance moves wear the alcohol off, you start to feel the pain on your feet, and your arms are completely sore.
“Someone is tired, maybe I can drive you home?” Drew says, he has been dancing with you for more than an hour.
“Oh” the way he looks at you, the smell of his cologne, and the way his body starts to warm you when he gets closer. “I’d love that.”
"Goodbye, babes, thank you for coming!” Mika gets closer to you, she helps you get in your coat and joins her boyfriend.
“Bye bye, love you,” you say, as Drew keeps his eyes on you. He takes your purse and then your hand, leading you to the door but he sees you struggling.
“Are you alright? Do you need me to carry you?” he asks.
“My feet hurt but i can handle it, don’t worry,” you reassured.
“Not on my watch, let me help you.”
You nod, he gets ever closer as he gets behind you and lifts you up from the ground. He carries you bridal style and you start to giggle, he finds it adorable and grins at you.
You feel like you’re in the clouds. The amount of attention, the mischievous feeling of care and love. You’ve just met him, and he looks good, he smells good, and he’s so, so strong.
As you get to the door, a couple of flashes come your way, you hide your face in the crook of Drew’s face and he starts laughing as your breath tickles on his skin. He hurries up to his car and helps you get on the ground, then on the car.
You forget who you are in the moment, and you lean up to kiss him while the flashes go on.
He drives you home, as he promised.
“We arrived,” he says, looking at you, with that same grin from before.
“Thank you for driving me home, it’s been nice to meet you and dance with you,” you smile.
“It’s been my pleasure, honey.”
You blush for the first time that night, the heat catches up on your cheeks. It’s crimson red the way he looks at you.
He starts to lean in, you do the same. His lips brush yours as he whispers, “You are so beautiful” His lips meet yours in a coordinated dance, and that’s when he loses you.
You remember, you remember everything. That night in the backyard, that night at the concert, that day at the little farm, that day at your house.
He’s always on your mind. His silhouette, his raspy voice, he comes to you as a ghost. The remnants of whiskey, he tastes just like him, just like your Steve. Even though he is not yours anymore, He is wandering around with a different girl a day, and you feel so replaceable, so hurt.
Drew’s hands press on the back of your neck, pulling you closer.
“Touch me,” you whisper.
His hands travel down your ass, where he squeezes and pinches with such intensity. But it doesn’t feel like him, it doesn’t feel like Steve because he is not Steve.
He is not the one you want, he is a vessel for something you yearn for every day.
You stop moving your lips, squeezing his bicep as you push him back to his seat. Suddenly, you feel tired, and a headache starts to grow. Your head falls to the side, resting on his shoulder.
“Are you alright, honey?” he asks, caressing your ass delicately.
“I’m, i think i should go”
You take your stuff with you, hand on the door and taking all your bottled feelings with you.
“Sure, i’ll walk you to the door” he says, fixing his jeans to hide his hard on and taking the keys off the ignition.
“No, I'm fine. I’m only tired and i have an early meeting tomorrow.”
You lie—anything to get out of his car right now.
“Can we see each other again?” he asks, breaking into your head and interrupting your pool of thoughts.
“Yes, i’ll dm you” you answer, but as you look at him, his confused face makes you giggle again.
“What’s dm you?”
“Very funny, good night,” you say, fixing your dress and ready to get out of the car.
“Can I get your number?” he asks, his voice softly pleading to you.
“Oh, you don’t know what a dm is?”
“I’m old, honey”
“Right, i’ll give you my number. You can text me, and we can hang out again”
You extend your hand, and he quickly understands, he gives you his phone so you can save your number in his contacts.
“Did we just hang out?” he asks as you type your name on the screen, you write your name without a single heart or smile. Your interest in him seems to vanish as his cologne isn’t so strong anymore.
“A little,” you shrug, handing the phone back he takes it without stopping looking at you.
“Alright, i’d love to do it again then”
“Goodnight, thank you for the ride” You kiss his cheek and wave at him as you get to your door.
He waves back at you and puts the key back to the ignition. You open the door of your home and get in.
As you get ready to bed you start thinking about Drew. Is it bad you used him as a distraction? Do you really want to see him again?
You take off your makeup feeling like something is missing, apart from Steve and now Robin. You are forgetting something but you can’t wrap your head around it. You put on your pajamas, the worries will have to wait until the morning.
As you go to sleep, you look at your ceiling. “Steve, please stop haunting my dreams” you whisper.
And on the other side of the country, he does the same thing. Wishing you were by his side and he wasn’t such an idiot.

Get to know me (tag game)
I'm super late for this one, but I've merged two sets of questions, thank you @savriea & @dutifullylazybread for the tag! I'm very happy 🌸
Do you make your bed? —I do - or I try to, I feel better when it's done and it makes me feel like I can move on with my day 🫡 Exceptions are for when I'm late, but then I would do it before going to bed!
Favourite number? — 5 (but 3 or 7 also work) (I like odd numbers in general)
What's your job? — I quit my job a few weeks ago sooo at the moment unemployed fanfic writer I guess 🤠
If you could go back to school, would you? — I think so! I would love to go back to study something I really like without the pressure of earning the degree since I already have one, and then take the time to actually learn and discuss the topics rather than to focus on grades.
Can you parallel park? — In theory, yes, I can. In practice... maybe? I don't drive often, so when I have to park I try to make it as easy as I can for myself (so not parallel park)
Do you think aliens are real? — Yes, I think it'd be quite sad if we were the only form of life in the universe
Can you drive a manual car? — Yes!
What's your guilty pleasure? — Cheesy romance and romcoms, I'm down baaaad for it, especially the 90s ones
Tattoos? — Not yet, mostly because I'm too indecisive on what to get and where haha
Favourite color? — Red, then shades of purples, blues and greens :)
Favourite type of music? — Taylor Swift definitely, but otherwise I love pop-rock and instrumental/classical soundtracks from games and movies
Do you like puzzles? — Ehhh, I can do puzzles to pass the time but I'm not drawn to them otherwise. If I can't get it quickly it tends to annoy me 🥲
Any phobias? — Yeah, spiders :(
Favourite childhood sport? — I had a complex relationship with sports as a kid so I don't think I had any really? But I loved to run around and play hide and seek if that counts lol
Do you talk to yourself? — Occasionally, when I need to "hear" the steps in a process or to guide myself through something step by step. Sometimes I do it when I'm in a very good mood too!
What movie(s) do you adore? — Oh! Lords of the Ring trilogy is my absolute fave of all time, then the Ghibli movies, Pride & Prejudice (2005), and I cannot think of others at the moment although I'm sure there's at least like 20 more haha
Coffee or tea? — Tea always, but in recent years I've learned to like coffee (although I love the smell more than the taste)
First thing you wanted to be growing up? — A teacher! And I'm kinda glad I didn't choose this path now 😬
Last song I listened to — guilty as sin 🤍
Current obsession— Rolan 👀 and BG3 in general ❤️
Last thing I Googled — my dentist's phone number lol
Favorite Season — Autumn, when the leaves are red and gold and the sky is still blue 🍁
Skill I'd like to learn — Drawing! I've just started to take art classes and I'm super motivated (and to finally be able to draw all my Tavs! and their partners hihi)
Best advice — trust yourself and do things for yourself first and foremost (drawing, writing, etc etc); don't try to match people's expectations and do things at your own pace, life's not a race :)
Currently watching — waiting for Bridgerton part 2, so in the meantime I'm rewatching the classic period drama movies (P&P, Emma, etc.)
Currently reading — Quoting this from @savriea because it's exactly my answer too lmao
— A stupidly long list of BG3 fanfics as my "to read" books sit gathering dust on my bookshelf.
Relationship status — taken, four years already :)
Sweet/Savory/Spicy — sweet all the way with a side of savoury, spicy food is a no-go however, I cannot handle spices 😱
no pressure tags for the lovely @sleketon666 @kimberbohwrites @poetryvampire 🌸 (feel free to ignore if you've already done it!!)

Eddie Munson Boyfriend Stuff
Tumblr media
Just some of my Eddie Munson boyfriend head cannons 😊 (general Eddie head cannons)
🤘Eddie will give you one of his rings for you to wear as a promise ring.
🤘Eddie will put on a scary movie so you get scared and cuddle into his side. But he ends up getting scared and he makes you stand outside the door while he uses the bathroom. (Will turn on all the lights in the trailer after)
🤘Buys cassettes of your favorite music to keep in his van and memorizes the words to your favorite songs to sing a long with you
🤘Carries a photo of you in his drug box. When he looks at you he remembers he’s doing this for you 🥺 (you didn't ask him to)
🤘Let’s you cut his bangs when they get too long
🤘Eddie will sit you in his lap and try to teach you how to play his guitar while reaching around your body with his hands over yours (the only person he lets touch his guitar)
🤘You will never touch a door handle in the presence of this man if he cant get it he’ll make one of the other Hellfire members do it “Henderson you better open that door!”
🤘 Feels bad because he doesn't have a lot of money to buy you gifts and take you on dates. So he'll find ways to surprise you like picking flowers out of someone's garden for you. Writing you in as a character in his campaign and making you the ruler of a kingdom.
🤘 "Babe can you help me stitch this onto my vest?"
🤘His uncle always knows when you’re coming over because Eddie will bring out all the trash and dirty dishes from his room.
🤘Eddie only eats junk food so when you cook for him he would be super impressed. Arms wrapped around your waist as he watches over your shoulder “Wow babe you are so amazing” (you're making a grilled cheese like 👀)
🤘Congratulations!! You are the new Hellfire Club babysitter!
🤘Saves a seat for you at the end of the lunch table right next to him. Whenever someone else tries to sit there he shoves them out “Are you Y/N!? Then leave!”
🤘Date nights in the back of Eddies van. Driving around listening to music and then he would park in a pretty spot so you can sit in the back and talk, listen to music and maybe something else too....
🤘Eddie calls you freak, babe, cutie, sweetheart and goody two shoes when you refuse to partake in illegal activities with him 🙄
🤘A lot of holding hands. They’re basically glued together! In the hallway, at lunch, in class, during Hellfire Club he’ll hold your hand under the D&D table while he’s mastering. (If anyone says something he kills off their character)
🤘When you watch Corroded Coffin perform he will dedicate the performance to you (and when you're not watching) “This is for you baby!!” points you out in the crowd of like 6 people 🤭
🤘Teaches you how to headbang and makes you do it every time his favorite song comes on
🤘Study dates that end up in Eddie pushing the homework on the floor and kissing you instead “No babe its okay I promise I’ll gradate this year”
NSFW
🤘The rings stay on when he 😏 ya know
🤘WAIST GRABBER! When you kiss, when you walk, when you fuck, Eddie will always have a hand on your waist.
🤘I think Eddie could lean more towards submissive because he wants to please you so you praise it. Will never admit it but he loves when you call him good boy.
🤘Yes he uses voices in bed🙄 ...but only when he’s in a goofy mood.
🤘You’ll be on the verge of climax and Eddie will use some stupid voice an whisper in your ear like “Yes cum for me” totally kills the vibe
🤘”How hot would it be if we fucked on the D&D table”

jaehyun as a bf
anon: “your writing brings me butterflies i love it you are so underrated!!!!! would love to request a jaehyun bf headcanons (like the one you did of mark <3)” thank you for the kind words anon <333 hope you enjoy this one!
(a bit of a plug lol but check out NCT 127's ideal r/s headcanons in this post!! i appreciate you checking it out! <3)
brief mentions of sex, but nothing explicitly nsfw!
likes to talk about music with you
especially jazz. there’s a plethora of songs out there with different renditions and sometimes he likes to ramble about who’s rendition he likes best
would play the piano for you if you asked, just maybe not after schedules or something. but usually when you’re free or alone together in the room, he likes you to sit beside him to listen to him play
you guys like to play a little game where he’ll play the chords and you play like a random note to create blobs of music
even if you don’t know how, the way the session always dissolves into giggles is his favourite thing in the world
if you know how to play the piano that’s great too!! jaehyun just likes the unexpected notes that come out since there’s no set melody in his mind
jaehyun needs to have some part of his body on yours at all times. like he has to hold your hand all the time, or a finger hooked around your backpack, or an arm around your waist.
at least when you’re together he does it very often and he’s just. obsessed with you lmfao
it’s also the reason he buys a promise ring when he’s sure of you as a significant other so you always have a part of him with you (his love)
would buy you those lockets for you to put pictures inside. he doesn’t care where you wear it though, around your neck, wrist, ankle, as long as the locket is on your person
he clings onto you like crazy in the mornings. jaehyun’s a heavy sleeper and likes to hug you on his side, so you’re always having trouble trying to pry him off of you in the morning
a bit nsfw: he likes morning lazy sex lol, ngl. jaehyun adores the rawness of your relationship in the morning and the sleepiness in your eyes when you’re gently pushing him away. he knows you don’t mean it but he makes sure you really want it first
loves the sunlight kissing your skin and the slow, gentle movements
so so intimate, he prefers it to the rougher forms of sex, but sometimes he doesn’t have that luxury since they leave for schedules quite often in the wee hours of dawn
for cuddling sense, jaehyun likes it when you’re under his arm and cuddled into his side. classic position but he dies every time inside when you look up at him and there’s this clueless look you have. has the biggest smile on his face after and you have to repeat the stuff you said bc he’s too distracted by how your eyes shine
second hot favourite (more of when you’re making out) is when you’re straddling him. nothing sexual, just like you on top of him when you’re kissing and stuff. he digs it when you’re pulling away for oxygen and he has to lift his body to reach for your lips again
gets flustered from kissing, but doesn’t show it. if he’s found a way to suppress the crazy crimson on his ears (which i doubt) then he will but his words will always contradict his expression
jaehyun can say “are you nervous, y/n?” with a smirk but his ears keep giving him away!!!!
mfer’s hands are shaking too when he trails it over your body. in disbelief you’re his.
sometimes shamelessly moans into the kiss LOL, not too loud but he whines when you pull away, and has to kiss you breathless again
when you kiss him, expect like a long-lasting kiss. doesn’t mind small pecks and stuff but he’ll want to savour your lips a little longer than a mere peck
jaehyun likes your neck too. when you’re hugging his face is always in your neck, placing small little butterfly kisses
you need to look out for him, always. mans always tripping over something at some point. it’s become more frequent now that he has you and my god he’s so unable to keep his eyes off of you that he trips over simple things. he once tripped over nothing
on the daily when he’s not tripping over you, he’s clumsy in a sense where he drops food on the table. he once struggled to tie up his growing hair into a mini ponytail bc it was just too little hair. the hair tie slipped from his fingers and shot itself into your face - those kinds of small small mishaps
it’s endearing but sometimes you can’t help but laugh at him
likes to take you out on impromptu dates. dates that are close by and easy to plan (?) i guess.
not saying jaehyun is a lazy boyfriend but he likes the more candid dates where you decide what to do as you go along. of course if it’s a big day like your anniversary or birthdays then he’d want to plan something out.
other than that, he just either lets you choose the places to go there or you two decide along the way. he doesn’t want to impose options for you and pressure you. if he’s being honest, he wouldn’t know where to go either lol so he just follows wherever you bring him
laughs so much when he’s with you. giggles, deep laugh, whatever you name it. your relationship is very light-hearted and he finds that he’s the one laughing more when you deliver jokes even tho he wants to make you laugh too
i can’t lie… his jokes can be dry sometimes i’m sorry jaehyun 😭 so he backs it up with laughter and has to catch his breath sometimes bc he finds it really funny
you’re not laughing at the joke, rather at his laugh so you might have to tell him that some way or another bc he’ll just keep making bad jokes i’m sorry y’all
he can’t handle the suuuuuper cheesy physically affectionate films or series (with shitty plot) but i feel like if the story’s interesting enough he’ll pay attention. likes bittersweet films too, i feel, gets him thinking
doesn’t mind cliched plots (fake dating / idealist girl meets realist boy / idk any others lol) but would propose something at the end that he thinks will make the movie/series more interesting
jaehyun likes to share his theories with you
unironically wants to learn the la la land tap dance scene with you. he ALWAYS hums city of stars too, no matter what. idk why but it sticks to him, in bed, in breakfast, when he’s doing something random
he did it once on the radio and he received a text from you in break that told him he was humming along to the song
with that said, jaehyun wants to try out the stuff in the rain quite a bit. making out, dancing, lying down, running, he likes that fascination that society has with doing things in the rain
doesn’t like it too much that he’ll get soaked, but as long as you’re with him and willing to do it, he’s all for it
jaehyun would def want kids in the future. wants to dote on them and buy them stuff and whatnot. wants to see them running around the house with laughter while you both struggle to contain the bursts of excitement they have
doesn’t care for the dynamic much. if he’s the one to stay at home to take care of them while you work, he can work with it. if it’s the other way round, he’s okay too
he just worries that if he’s still involved with the entertainment industry, you might have to take a back seat since he’ll be the one earning the money, and he doesn’t want babysitters either.
heart is so so full when he comes back home and you’re just playing with the kids, or singing them to sleep. any sight of you with him is enough to make him melt into a puddle
HAS to hold them even if they’re asleep. wants to always have them close to him while he nudges you to shower or get the food ready.
like jaehyun, he would wanna meet someone in a vinyl shop or bookstore. he knows it’s cliched but the thought of meeting someone when you’re buying something is exciting. anything unexpected for him, he welcomes it
the next few are just random, miscellaneous headcanons: he likes to see you in his clothes, preferably with nothing underneath. just his shirt lol. cheeky man
jaehyun likes it when you shower together (again, nothing sexual, just likes the domesticity)
likes it when you fall asleep on him
will never stop gushing about you to his parents, first time you met them they’re like “he’s told us so much about you!” and he really did
feels comfortable in your presence, no makeup, messy hair, no need for a perfect bod. he’s just jaehyun. jung yuno if you will
adores it when you call him “lover” i mean boyfriend is good, significant other is good, but lover is just chef’s kiss
it is a bit cheesy if you think about it, so it’s not often that you say it. when you do say it in songs when you’re singing it to him, he can’t stop smiling
plays lover, you should’ve come over when he’s on tour bc it’s the closest thing he can get to a replica of how he feels for you
and when jaehyun falls asleep to the song, all he can remember is your honey voice singing it to him. he’ll just have to hold onto it before he can see you again

Ranboo x Reader (Female)
Warnings: None, unless talking about the future counts
Genre: FLUFF, Humor, RPF (Real Person Fic)
Summary: Following the arrival of the dreadful invitation to his cousin’s wedding Ranboo turns to the only cover-up he can think of to keep his still-single status hidden from his family.
Requested by Anon. Hi darling! Thank you so much for your wonderful request! I’m so glad you sent your idea to me and I’m so glad you were my first official Ranboo request. I’m really sorry it’s taken me so long to write it but I still hope you’ll come across it and read it! Love, Vy ❤
“Heyyy, so Y/N, I have a favor to ask you...um yeah, call me back, it’s awkward sending it via voicemail. Bye“
Huh - that’s the first thought that goes through my head when I listen to the voicemail left after a missed call from my best friend Ranboo. The favors he usually asks for consist of requesting assistance for his videos in which I also appear with a mask and sunglasses to keep the brand running. I genuinely have nothing against my face being shown but when I think about it, I’m honestly a bit glad people can’t identify me.
Anyways, back to the favors, Ranboo is no stranger to asking me for them but they’ve never been considered too awkward for a voicemail which is why I’m no slightly concerned. I’ve been swamped with work for school and studies for the graduation finals for the past two weeks and it seems like I’ll never get on top of it and I know Ranboo’s been in a similar situation too, so maybe he needs help with that? He’s not used to asking help for school stuff, he sometimes even has a hard time accepting it when I openly offer it to him.
I eventually sigh, decide that playing this guessing game will not get me anywhere and settle on giving him a call as I make my way home from the gym with my legs barely putting up with the task of carrying me around.
He picks up on the second ring.
“Hey! Wh-...“
“Would you pretend to be my girlfriend for my cousin’s wedding next weekend?!“
My legs take that opportunity to stop moving in the middle of the sidewalk which is luckily void of any people at the moment. It’s not my fault my body’s first reaction was to freeze up at the question that came flying at me like an out-of-control jet, almost as though he’s been dying to say it and get it over with.
“Um...run that by me again please, I think I misunderstood.“ I say, blinking blankly as though awoken from a fever dream. No, actually as though I’m IN a fever dream right now.
“Ok, now that the cat’s out of the bag, wanna grab some coffee and talk about it face-to-face. I need to see your facial expressions to gauge what response to expect.“ He says, the previous nervousness gone and his voice calm as regularly once again.
I’m this close to face-palming but I squeeze my eyes tightly shut and bring myself to utter a reply, “Our usual spot. Be there in ten minutes.”
                                                             *  *  *
“No freaking way.“ I shake my head, folding my arms over my chest as I lean back in my seat in the booth we picked when we arrived. Good thing I got an iced coffee cause even a hot one would’ve gone cold by now considering I haven’t yet taken the time to have even a sip of it. I’ve been too busy listening to the long and short of the explanation and begging speech Ranboo probably made last night to try and convince me to agree to this nonsense. “Dude, we’ve been friends since middle school-...“
“Exactly! Who else was I gonna ask?“ He cuts me off, pleading gaze meeting my unimpressed one.
I huff before continuing my previous statement, “We’ve been friends since middle school so you know my opinion on weddings.” I put extra emphasis on the word ‘opinion’, giving him the clear hint at the distaste I’ve expressed on the topic multiple times before.
“And you know we’re on the same page there but there’s no way I can avoid going unless someone kidnaps me.“ He too now gets in the same stance as me, his coffee forgotten too.
I can’t help but snort out a little laugh, “I’d be more than happy to kidnap you considering the other option is far less appealing to me.“
He, of course, rolls his eyes at me as though he didn’t offer to do the same thing so I could avoid an exam but anyways. “So you’re gonna choose to fake a kidnapping that has the potential of landing you in jail over coming to eat some great food and maybe even have some fun at a wedding with your best friend? I’m hurt.“ He says, frowning to cover up the smile that’s fighting its way onto his face.
Now it’s my turn to roll my eyes, “I’d be kidnapping you, dummy...” I cut myself off to let out a long sigh and calm down before I go off at him. His smirk isn’t helping me much with the task either. I’ve known Ranboo long enough to know he’ll eventually convince me and he’s known me long enough to know how to do that exactly. With that in mind, there’s really no point in getting so worked up and wasting my energy. And so, despite my own rationality, I cave. “Fine, but I’m not staying the whole wedding.“
His eyes immediately light up and almost makes me feel the compromise was worth it. Almost. I mean, when you’ve been best friends with someone for so long, seeing them happy is worth more to you than your own comfort sometimes.
And he knows it too. Which is exactly why he outstretches his hand for me to shake and says: “Just one dance and you’re free to go. Deal?”
I take his hand without hesitations. That’s a better offer than I could’ve ever imagined. “Damn straight it’s a deal.“
                                                            *  *  *
“How long until you kick the heels off?“ Ranboo asks, bringing me a non-alcoholic cocktail and sitting down next to me.
I take a sip and giggle, “You kidding? I already kicked them off and replaced them with flats. I need mobility if we dance. They also lower the risk of me severing off a toe of yours if I step on you on accident.”
He laughs, clinking his glass against mine before he gets a bit more serious, “By the way, thanks for handling my family’s attack so well. I know it might’ve been a bit much but you handled it like a pro. Still, I’m sorry on their behalf.”
I shake my head and wave my hand dismissively, “Don’t mention it. I’d probably react the same way if my brother or cousin brought a date to an important family event like this.” I instinctively turn to look in the direction of where the majority of his family has gathered around, chatting with guests, smiling brightly. It’s hard not to immediately take a liking towards these people. They’ve been a second family to me ever since Ranboo and I started hanging out so I completely understand why they were so shocked to see me in the role of his ‘girlfriend’.
“I’ll tell my parents the truth later, our extended family is the ones I wanted to fool to be perfectly honest.“ He looks around as do I and we catch more than a few pairs of eyes fixated on us that turn away when they realize they’ve been spotted, “Mission accomplished by the looks of it.“
I chuckle. I’ve never felt so comfortable at a wedding before. I don’t feel stressed nor anxious despite knowing that there’s quite the number of eyes on me and there are whispers going around about my ‘relationship’ with Ranboo. It’s oddly calming and relaxing to be surrounded by some familiar and some unfamiliar faces. This cocktail is pretty great too.
Speaking of which, if it had any alcohol in it I’d blame it for the decision I’m about to make but this one’s entirely on me: I tap Ranboo with one hand while taking out my phone with the other. “If we’re already the talk of the wedding, let’s give them something to talk about.“ I say as I put up my phone, pretending to be taking a selfie leaning in to give him a kiss on the cheek.
When I pull away I can clearly see that he’s still processing what just happened. I can’t help but burst out in a fit of laughter as I reach out to wipe the lipstick stain I left on his cheek. He looks like a lost, clueless puppy with the question: ‘what on Earth just happened???’ replaying in his head and it’s so freaking cute!
Wait....what was that? Since when do I use the adjective cute to describe Ranboo? Didn’t I think he looks handsome in a suit earlier too? The hell is with me today?
Then it hits me - the feeling isn’t foreign. Like, I know I’ve felt it before but I never analyzed it or even bothered to acknowledge it. But now that I do, I’m afraid of what it might be.
“There!“ I say, desperately trying to push the thoughts away along with this little firework show in my stomach, “Now you have pinker cheeks. Well, cheek, singular.“
As if snapping out of his state of confusion, he returns to Earth with a smirk, “Kiss the other to even it?”
Alright, his blush might not be even but mine now is and it’s ten times as intense and very much apparent but I don’t let the feeling shine through anything else as I proceed to actually kiss his other cheek too, wiping the lipstick stain.
“Thanks. You’re the best.” And just like that, as though it’s no big deal, he kisses my forehead.
See, that’s the thing, it shouldn’t be a big deal! It’s never been! This is far from the first time I’ve kissed him on the cheek or the first time he’s given me a forehead kiss. These are regular occurrences after years of this lovely friendship we have. Why do they feel so different now?
Then, much to my relief, the music starts and the lights turn off leaving only one spotlight for the groom and bride to have their first dance. They look absolutely astonishing and I can certainly say I’ve never before stopped to think that about any newly weds of the weddings I’ve preciously been to. I don’t know if it has something to do with the company I have for this particular wedding or it’s maybe the fact that my mindset’s changed over the years without me realizing.
Then I automatically look at Ranboo who just so happens to be looking at me too and all I can say is: my mindset hasn’t changed.
A loud applause takes over when the couple finish their dance, officially opening the dancefloor for any other pairs who’d like to occupy it and I’m happy to see how many people are eager to rush up with their partner.
Ranboo gets up, putting the glass down and offers me his hand, “So, wanna dance? Don’t take this as a sign to leave though, we said one dance and you CAN leave, not SHOULD.” He says, giving me a warning look.
I roll my eyes and am about to give him some sass right back but he takes my hand and picks me up from my seat, leading me to the dancefloor.  And I gotta admit maybe it’s a good thing he did. If he left it to me I would’ve probably said no to the dance and ran the hell away. Why? - Cause I’m freaking terrified of this new mindset and point of view and these intense emotions I never used to pay any mind to before in regards to my best friend.
Friends don’t feel that way about friends. Friends don’t look at friends that way. What’s happening to me?
When I gotta look him in the eyes like this, not for the first time might I add, I can finally understand how the friends-to-lovers trope works: it’s all meaningless until it starts to mean so much to you. It’s all platonic until it reminds you of a romantic movie moment. It ‘best friends’ until it’s ‘I wish we were more than that’. It’s all casual, until it’s not.
And, unfortunately, it’s irreversible.
Damn do I wish I ran away now...

MASTER
Tumblr media
Pairing(s): Eddie Munson x Reader
Warnings: none really, more so self indulgent, this is my first time writing for Eddie so I hope I did him justice
Words: 2411
Summary: like many of you I was very upset at what they did to Eddie. So I'm changing the script to the fate he deserved
Thunder crackled through the Upside Down’s dark sky, streaks of red lightening broke through the dancing particles that filed the air.
Anxiety racked its claws against the inside of your stomach knowing that this could possibly be the place where you meet your maker. You’d thought about your own death before, but never imagined such a hell to be your final resting place. Truth be told, you wanted to run, desert your friends and climb back through the portal in Eddie’s trailer.
Fingers sweat profusely around the megaphone’s handle. You wouldn’t abandon them. Not when Dustin and Eddie wait behind you. Eddie’s beloved guitar had transcended realms and was idly being tuned. Your trio hadn’t received the signal to move onto Phase 3. Was Max okay? She must have been more terrified than anyone. The only one to escape Vecna’s grasp, undoubtedly the monster would not want to let her live. He wouldn't’ accept any survivors so Max offered herself up as bait. Truly for someone so young she was even braver than you. So you’d stand your ground alongside your fellow Hellfire members.
Your free hand, having been gripping the hem of your filthy DND shirt was coaxed free by a ringed one. Startled, you relax when you meet Eddie’s dark, sweet eyes regarding you with concern.
Gulping back the lump in your throat, you offer him a strained smile. “This place should be the cover of a metal band.”
“Maybe if we survive this it can be Corroded Coffin’s first album cover.” Eddie’s tone, always jovial, was tight with stress. Finished tuning his guitar, it was now strung on his back until further notice.
Greatly appreciating his attempt to lighten the mood, you were happy that even though you were up against the nightmare creatures of the Upside Down, at least you had Eddie. Sweet, goofy Eddie who always made you laugh. Someone who filled your equally dreary days living at the same trailer park with headbanging music and good times. Since his uncle often worked night shifts and your own parents fucked off to god knows where, you kept one another company. Watching movies way into the night and plenty of weed when you really wanted to party. The two of you would order pizza, consuming copious amounts of junk food all through the night.
And you may have been young, but you were pretty sure he was the goddamn love of your life. Every time he smiled made you melt. Feeling akin to being breathless even.
“What song are you going to play?” You ask while still watching the crackling of the sky.
“Oh, (y/n), you know me better than that. I like to surprise you.” Now his face brightened a little as did your own. Eddie’s surprises were the best.
“Well, Mr. Munson, I’m sure it will be your best concert yet.” Chuckling, you’re now able to turn your face away from above and to Eddie. “And I’m happy to be here as your biggest fan.”
Not many could make Eddie utterly speechless. He was always quick with snarky quips but not this time. His eyes widen and mouth goes slack before he shyly smiles, his inner softness gleaming. For a moment, silence lulls between you staring at each other.
“You know how much I love you, right?”
Your face burned and a silly, adoration filled grin breaks out across your lips. Oh how he had your heart irrevocably. You wanted to kiss him. “I know.”
“Since the first day you moved in.” Eddie doesn’t glance away from you at this admission.
“Really? My face was covered in zits. I couldn’t have been cute.” You chuckle, remembering the day vaguely. Had it really been that long ago?
“See, that’s where we disagree. I thought you were the most stunning creature in the entire world.”
Okay, you were definitely going to kiss him now with the gloomy sky as an epic backdrop. You even stood closer to him, your hand on his chest as he looked down at you.
“Guys!” Dustin snaps you out of the moment, reality sneaking back to your senses. “They’re initiating Phase 3. We’re up!”
There was no time for kisses.
Taking a deep breath to move you forward, the three of you scramble on top of Eddie’s trailer where large speakers were affixed to the roof.
Like the loyal fan you were, you lift your arm with the megaphone to introduce Eddie Fucking Munson Live from the Upside Down. Your voice shot through the forlorn trailer park with the help of the audio projector in your hand. The demobats were in for a treat as immediately after the first few bars to Metallica’s ‘Master of Puppets’ came blasting from Eddie’s prized guitar.
You and Dustin stood back to let the true star take center stage. A dire situation it may have been, Dustin smiled and nodded his head forward in a small headbanging manner.
As much as you enjoyed the show he put on, you were silently praying that Nancy, Steve and Robin got to Vecna in time. There was no telling how many demobats there would be this time. What would you do if there were just too many crashing down on you all at once? You had seen what they did to Steve.
With his trailer fortified, you pondered if that would be enough to stop them.
‘C’mon you guys. Now’s your chance to end this.’
You lean over to pick up your crudely made makeshift weapons and spiked shield.
In the distance, the red streaks offering up the silhouette of a thick cloud of hundreds of beating wings. They were coming and fast. You tried your best not to let panic freeze you completely. Like Eddie and Dustin, you wanted to be brave. None of you looked like heroes, that was too aspirational. Not with your worn out chucks or chipped, black nail polish.
But you would try your damn hardest to keep those demonic monstrosities distracted until Nancy or whoever destroyed Vecna.
Eddie continued to shred on his axe, fingers most likely bleeding from the intensity of the chords. If you survived, you would have to commend him for how quickly he mastered such a beast of a song. Two weeks since the release of it; that’s how long it had been and how long Eddie had been painstakingly practicing those brutal riffs. Slow in the beginning, you had watched in admiration as he diligently kept at it without giving up or being discouraged.
Who knew it would be used for something like this with such an epic background.
Gauging their distance through his binoculars, Dustin loudly informs “We gotta lockdown in T-minus thirty seconds!”
Thirty seconds.
You gripped your spear and shield close to you now, legs prepared for action, If your weapons failed, you had one last thing waiting in your backpack for only when things went tits up on this plan.
Eddie picked up speed as the count down came to twenty seconds, then ten seconds until those demon bats descended upon you. Ungodly screeches now assaulted your eardrums more than his guitar did.
When they appeared above, ready to descend, that’s when you, Eddie and Dustin hurried off the trailer’s roof and inside.
The three of you stare at the front door, anxiously awaiting for any attempt of infiltration. Soon loud bangs and the screech of sharp nails against metal rocked the trailer. Out of instinct you draw yourself closer to Eddie who puts a protective arm in front of you, the same way he did when he was forced to brake too hard in his van. Knowing it wouldn’t do much in an actual accident, but it was the thought that counted. He instinctively tried to protect you.
You involuntarily shudder as demobats threw themselves against the trailer. The window panes vibrate violently and you fear those would break in no time.
It’s above you that should have concerned you more. From an open vent on the roof, a demobat comes crashing through. You and Dustin shriek, viciously stabbing at the creature with your spears until it moved no more. But now there was an opening that had to be barricaded quickly. Eddie moves the two of you aside since he was the tallest and could easily cover the vent using his garbage can lid shield.
Only a mere band-aid, you hear the demobats move along the vents to where Eddie’s room was located. You scramble over, catching sight of leathery wings before slamming his bedroom door shut.
More time. They need more time but our’s is running out.
Helplessly you gaze at young Dustin who was eyeing the rope that would save you, sending you back to your usual Hawkins. He’s prepared to bolt and you didn’t blame him. In fact you hoped he would climb up there. He was too young to be constantly facing death and too sweet.
Forgetting about the importance of keeping the demobats distracted, Dustin indeed starts to worm his way up the rope made by bed sheets. There was no way you could stay in the trailer. Those demons would break in within minutes.
Your own hand grips the rope momentarily, staring up at the whole where Dustin was urging you to come up.
“Hurry up (y/n)!” Eddie yells at you when he finds you paused.
“Our mission isn’t done yet.” You whisper, it almost went unheard from the banging going on in the vents and at the windows. Turning to Eddie, your fear was gone. Dustin was safe at least. “Our mission isn’t done yet!”
His expression was frantic but he registers what you mean.
“And before you even try to argue with me, I’m staying here to follow through.”
The lines on his face smooth over as he takes his place beside you, his knife already in hand. “No running?”
Neither of you were heroes. You felt it intensely when Eddie’s dark eyes widen with unrestrained fear. Even so, Eddie holds up his weapons, prepared to run out alongside you.
“No running.”
Despite Dustin’s screams to stop, Eddie cuts the rope that would prevent your safe escape while you push the mattress you used as a soft landing away. Taking a quick breath, you and Eddie charge out of the trailer; shouldering your way out the front door before hopping onto his bike.
You turn around slightly enough to watch the thick swarm realize you and Eddie were on the run. It hadn’t taken them long and they made fast work to catch up.
Putting enough distance between a safe Dustin and Vecna’s guard bats, both of you ditch Eddie’s bike; hoofing it to a small open field that the local kids sometimes used as a kickball area. Backs to each other and shields raised, your spears jutted out. You felt Eddie bump into your backpack in a way to tighten what defense you had.
Eardrums were pierced when the unholy screeching arrived. A barrage of them flitting by, the storm of wings recongregated and finally descended upon you and Eddie. You start stabbing anytime you see a black smudge. Vision was blotted by snapping teeth and grotesque features, all the shrieking made you deaf.
Too many.
Way too many to the point you and Eddie are forced onto your knees when they pelted down on you ruthlessly. You felt their claws break through every so often, cutting up your face and arms.
There was no better time to use your secret weapon. With great effort while keeping your shield up, your hand drops your spear as it struggles to move your backpack from your back and to your front. Frenzied fingers slip on the zipper tag before you rip it open.
Now you had to discard your shield as well.
“What are you doing?!!” You hear Eddie scream from among the horde of demonic bats.
You didn’t have to tell him anything. One hand on a can of hairspray and the other wielding a lighter, your grimy thumb holds down the nozzle of the hairspray while the other rolls the spark wheel down into the ignition button inside the lighter.
Bright flames of orange, yellow and red ignite and swallow the demobats closest to you. Their death shrieks was music to your ears as you saw the others flutter furiously before trying to take on the flame itself. It was futile. You had them now. Growing bolder, you stand on your feet and scream obscenities at the; taking great joy in seeing their wings disintegrate from the flames. You would thank Nancy later. It was Nancy who had let slip a very important fact about the creatures of the Upside Down; that their greatest weakness was fire. Why your group hadn’t purchased flame throwers or anything similar was beyond you. But you made do with what resources you had. And that was your trusty lighter and Steve’s hairspray which you had pilfered when he wasn’t looking.
Even Eddie was able to stand to his full height and watch in awe. “You couldn’t have told me you had something up your sleeve?”
You must have been smiling like a madman. “Then it wouldn’t be a surprise.”
The two of you stood there until the swarm above was eradicated. Smoked remains of your winged enemies dropped like flies onto the earth until finally there was silence and calm.
Weary, you drop both hairspray can and lighter and fall into Eddie’s waiting arms. He kisses the top of your head, thumb smoothing a cut on your cheek. “I can’t believe it. . . We’re actually alive. . .”
“Eh, I knew we would survive.” Faux smugness enters your voice. “We had to so I could kiss you. No kisses for the dead.”
Eddie laughs and as your reward he does indeed bestow you with his lips, although their dry and cracked it was the best kiss of your life.
In the distance you hear Dustin’s shouting.
You pull out of Eddie’s arms and squint. “Is that. . . Dustin? I thought we cut the rope!”
“Damnit Dustin!” Eddie shouts.
From his stumbling figure that got closer, you deduced he must have injured his leg from the fall back to the Upside Down.
You roll your eyes and follow Eddie.
“Y-You’re alive! Oh thank god!!” Dustin cries both in pain and relief.
“This is why we left you there! So you wouldn’t get hurt. Now look at you!” Halfheartedly you scold him but it touched you that Dustin was willing to hurt himself to make sure you and Eddie were okay.
Eddie helps Dustin back to the trailer but you lingered behind. Looking back to where you almost did die. Past the trees that surrounded the haunted trailer park, you knew Steve, Nancy and Robin were proceeding to their own mission.
“Give him hell, you guys.”

Imagine Bakugou x stoner!reader
So... maybe I got carried away, and maybe this turned into more of just you and the bakusquad being besties, but I literally love this concept and will 100% be writing more.
Warning(s): obvious mentions of drug use, and some language. All characters are 18+.
So, let’s say, just for the hell of it, that this is a quirkless!college!au
just imagine...
- you befriend Sero and Denki first, meeting them in a class, and they love you right off the bat
- you’re personality just meshes so well with theirs, you become bffs almost instantly
- the three of you raise hell in that class, I’m convinced, like RIP to whoever sits near you goofs
- you slowly start to hang out outside of class. maybe it starts as a study sesh, but let’s be honest here. the three of you can’t focus to save your life, and eventually Sero asks if you guys wanna smoke
- and, to their complete surprise, you outsmoke them (Denki later bows down to you, literally, and proposes to you with a ring pop. he’s such a dork I love him)
- this becomes a weekly thing, as it should, and the three of you are practically attached at the hip
- your favorite part of hanging with them is, of course, all their crazy stories about their friends
- so of course they want to introduce you to the bakusquad, and you are just as eager to meet the rest of the group, if not a little nervous
- Denki and Sero assure you they’ll love you (”c’mon, you’re just like us, they’ll adore you!!!”) and they take you out to lunch with Mina and Kirishima
- now, if you thought you, Denki, and Sero was a chaotic trio, just wait until you add Mina to the equation
- Kirishima lives for the chaos and thinks you’re adorable, but the guy has his hands full keeping the four of you out of trouble, that’s for sure
- (when Bakugou’s not around, Kirishima is in charge of the braincell, I don’t make the rules)
- Mina immediately kidnaps you for a girls night, and is ecstatic about having a girl to hang out with her and the boys
- (SIDE NOTE, Mina introduces you to Jirou, and the three of you are THE baddest bitches around, thank you. the three of you definitely have girl nights and either kick the boys out, or force them to join, face masks and all)
- anyway, you finally get the opportunity to meet Bakugou
- and, as always, he’s in a sour mood. but! you don’t let his grumpiness upset you, in fact, you take it in stride and throw his attitude right back at him
- you aren’t mean, and you certainly aren’t going out of your way to bug him, but if Bakugou makes a snide comment? you better believe you’re throwing one right back at him
- and at first, Bakugou is annoyed, and thinks you’re mocking him. like, who do you think you are?
- but the more he gets to know you, he realizes that you’re way too sweet to be that mean. you fit right in with the idiots he’s friends with.
- and, to be honest, it drives him nuts. because he likes you. he likes you, and he likes when you snap back at him, and he likes watching you goof off and laugh with his friends
- in true Bakugou fashion, though, you’re convinced he hates you. it’s just the icing on top of the cake when one night you notice that every time you’re there, and Sero lights up, Bakugou disappears
- when you finally tell Mina this, she laughs. actually laughs! and you’re just like ....what?
- turns out, Bakugou hardly ever smokes with them, and he’s just like that.
“Trust me, babe,” Mina tells you, “It’s not you. Bakugou just doesn’t know how to relax, he’s got a terrible case of trust issues and a bad attitude to top it off. But he likes you, trust me! He’ll come around.”
- you weren’t so sure about that, but you take her word for it.
- and then, one night it’s just you, Denki, Mina, and Bakugou, and he stays!
“Someone with a brain has to make sure you idiots don’t do something stupid.” He says, when you ask.
- that night ends up being one of the funniest nights of your life. the three of you are high as a kite, and everything is funny. seriously, you can’t stop laughing!
- then, you find out Bakugou’s birthday is on 4/20, and you have never been so excited in your life (so you say). it’s the funniest, most ironic thing to you
- you go up to Bakugou, grabbing both his arms by the biceps, and are going on and on about it, bouncing on the balls of your feet and giggling, and Bakugou just listens to you talk and he blushes
- you’re adorable, and he can’t lie to himself anymore, he likes you. he really likes you. and this realization really freaks him out (he calls Kirishima later that night absolutely freaking out, and he has to totally calm him down. Kiri ships it)
- over the next month or two, he tries his best to not give himself away, but it’s so hard.
- he starts sticking around when everyone smokes together, and sitting next to you during movie nights (because you always fall asleep, and theres a good 80% chance you end up leaning on his shoulder), and he offers to help when you complain about a class you’re struggling with
- and it all comes to a head one night when he gets jealous.
- he was definitely reading too much into things, but he swears you’re acting clingy with Sero, leaning on his shoulder, and grabbing his arm when you laugh, and playing with his hair. he definitely has himself convinced Sero is making a move on you, and he’s pissed.
- at some point during the hangout, he gets up and storms out of the room, and no one really notices but you and Kiri. after a minute or two you’re curiosity gets the best of you, so you go after him
- he’s in the kitchen, glaring at this plant Denki and Sero have (that is totally, 100% dying, and probably can’t be saved) and he’s pouting
“I don’t think staring at it is gonna bring it back to life.” You say, and he just looks at you weird and asks what you want
- you say you’re just checking on him, and he asks why you care. and you’re just like dude ??? i care about you? hello? we’re friends ??
- and Bakugou, being himself, snaps at you and makes some kind of rude comment
- so you snap back, offended because you’d just wanted to check on him
- and halfway through you telling him what a jerk he is, he kisses you
- he kisses you like his life depends on it, because he’s still pissed off about Sero and, come on, Bakugou Katsuki doesn’t do anything halfway
- and maybe the two of you make out in the kitchen for way longer than you want to admit
- and maybe you laugh and call him an idiot when he tells you he was jealous of Sero
- and maybe Denki catches the two of you, and screams like a little girl on christmas morning
- cue protective Denki and Sero telling Bakugou he better not EVER hurt you... and then crying happy tears a minute later because you’re so cute together
- after that, Bakugou is literally never seen without you by his side. he walks you to class, cooks you dinner at least once a week, helps you study and takes you out every time you ace a test. this man knows your coffee order, and has your schedule memorized, it’s impressive
- god forbid he see’s you eating junk food
- listen, he knows how Denki and Sero eat when they get the munchies, okay, and that is absolutely not allowed. this man is such a simp behind closed doors, he will literally make you homemade snacks for when you go smoke with the guys.
- he’s not the greatest with words, okay, but he loves you and he shows it through small things like that. he’s always pushing you to do your best, and bragging about you, and doing little things to remind you how much he cares
- he’s also a little over protective, but he means well, and cmon it’s kinda cute when he get’s jealous, sometimes
- but overall you guys are just the cutest couple. like the bakusquad is absolutely obsessed. (you make Bakugou soft, but don’t tell him they said that)
- and sure you fight over little things every once in a while, but you learn how to handle Bakugou’s attitude quick, and it never lasts too long.
- if you do have a big fight, you take a step back and let each other cool down, and then you make Bakugou talk it out. he hates it at first, because sharing his feelings is so not something he wants to do, but it does help and he knows it.
- if, on the rare occasion, the two of you have a bad fight you can’t resolve on your own, therapist Kiri is there to save the day
Bonus:
- now, let’s get down to the whole reason i made this au in the first place
- the first time the two of you celebrate his birthday after getting together, he makes it clear that the day of he just wants to spend it with you
- so the weekend closest to his bday, the whole squad goes out and celebrates, but when it comes to his actual bday? Bakugou has a surprise for YOU
- you show up to his apartment, not really knowing what to expect, and this man pulls out a pan of brownies
- yeah, those brownies
- turns out, he and Sero used to sell them in high school
“What? Sero already sold, and I can cook, so we just... did it. It was good money.”
“How could you keep this from me?! Have I told you recently that I adore you?”
He just laughs, “You’re such a dork.”
- so you have the PLEASURE of getting high with Bakugou for the first time
- and let me just tell you, you’re in for a treat
- Bakugou. is. so. clingy. as soon as it hits, you know, because he’s wrapping his arms around you and pulling you into his lap
- he’s speaking so softly?? and he’s just relaxed, and content with holding you and talking about anything and everything, just cuddling with music in the background
- high! makeout sessions! with Bakugou! that’s it, that’s literally it. he is INSATIABLE
- the man just wants to kiss you, for hours, okay? give him what he wants!!
- he used to get super paranoid, that’s why he doesn’t smoke much, but with you he’s calm and comfortable, and not anxious
- it becomes tradition to make brownies on both of your birthdays, and you look forward to it all year
- and every once in a while, Bakugou will smoke with the squad, and they quickly learn that he can’t keep his hands off of you when he’s high. they tease him relentlessly, and Sero and Denki definitely have asked him (aka whined to him) to stop hogging all your attention
- also, he definitely lights the bowl for you, because he is a gentlemen
- shotgun kisses. yup. that’s all I have to say.
before I get carried away again, this is the end. Thank you for reading! I literally can’t get enough of this au I’m in love with it!! I’ll be writing more of this au soon, hopefully, and my requests are open!!

Pairing: Kuroo Tetsurou x Reader
Rating: G
Word Count: 1.2k of tooth rotting dad!kuroo
Summary: Love is in the little things: Brita filters, sesame seeds, and frozen waffles.
Tumblr media
Music plays softly in the background as Kuroo works diligently in the kitchen. Against the backsplash of white tile, glass containers dotting the wooden shelves, and stainless steel appliances in the modern kitchen, Kuroo Tetsurou wears a bright red apron with the words “Kiss the Chef” written garishly across the front.
On a tray he’s already balanced a stack of incredibly fluffy pancakes covered in a light dusting of powdered sugar, topped with the ripest berries. He’s taken out the nice porcelain that’s stored on the top most shelves—only to be used on special occasions, she said—and filled the matching bowls with an assortment of fruits and granola from the farmer’s market.
He hums to himself as he places the sunny side up eggs just so on the plate and delicately shakes the spice bottles to ensure an even layer. Putting the final touches on the food, he starts the espresso machine while he peels several oranges to hand squeeze. In the middle of his fourth orange, Kuroo hears the patter of foot steps down the stairs.
“Wow,” a small voice drawls out at his hip, “looks so good.”
A small, chubby hand reaches for a bowl and Kuroo lightly swats it away.
“Daddy did a good job, didn’t he?” Kuroo says mostly to himself, satisfied with the assortment of sweet and savory treats, so aesthetically placed he figures Martha Stewart would weep. Finishing with the last orange, he wipes his hands on his apron and moves to make the coffee, scooting the tray further away from the edge.
He feels a small tug at his pajama pant leg and looks down to see his pouting child.
“I’m hungry,” his son complains, tiny hand fisting cotton and the other resting at his hip, a mirror image of his mother.
Gently ruffling his son’s hair, still unruly from sleep, a set of heavier footsteps makes its way to the kitchen. Yawning the sleep from her eyes and sighing at the pops in her neck, Kuroo’s eldest daughter zeroes in on the breakfast spread and makes a beeline for the tray.
Swiftly blocking her warpath he grabs a dish towel and waves it in front of her like a matador to a bull. “Who are you and get out my kitchen,” Kuroo says.
She scowls up at him which makes him scowl too.
“You know what your mom says about frowning,” he lightly scolds.
“I’m young and have a great retinol,” she bites back, “what’s your excuse?” she taunts.
“Oi! What’s with the attitude so early in the morning, can’t you see I’m busy,” he says incredulously, gesturing to the breakfast tray as he catches his youngest drag a short footstool towards the counter.
With one step, Kuroo scoops him up—away from the food—and distracts him with the promise of Eggo waffles while squishing chubby cheeks between his thumb and forefinger, kissing the soft skin.
“You’re making pancakes from scratch and you’re feeding us the frozen waffles?” his daughter deadpans.
“Who said anything about feeding you guys—you have two hands,” he points out, wincing when small fists beat his chest.
At her stink eye, Kuroo curses teenage hormones and nearly runs to the beep of the espresso machine, any excuse to avoid further scrutiny from his daughter. He puts his son down and whispers for him to sit and wait for his sister to get him breakfast. His daughter—light of his life, apple of his eye, his precious darling baby girl—but an absolute menace at sixteen and unfortunately absolutely took after him in this regard.
He pours the perfect amount of hot water to the espresso and Kuroo nods approvingly at the spread: pancakes, eggs, fruit, yogurt, granola, freshly squeezed orange juice, water at room temperature because apparently cold water is bad for the stomach, and finally, hot coffee.
Rummaging in the freezer his daughter grumbles, “Can you at least get me water?”
He grabs a glass and fills it halfway and meets his daughters open mouth of disbelief. Placing his hand on his hips he mocks her expression.
“Yes?”
“You’re giving me tap water,” she says accusingly.
“The Brita is for the dog and your mom,” he retorts.
Turning away at her screech of indignation, he smiles to himself when she can’t see it. Yes, she thoroughly irritates him with her refusal to drink orange juice with pulp and completely baffles him when she doesn’t heed his advice to wear a little less eyeliner. He also definitely thinks her boyfriend is a little bit of a loser, but, he is utterly and entirely certain that she is one of the best things he has ever done with his life equal to having her brother and marrying their mother.
His wife. Even as his ring clinks against his second cup of coffee, as it has every morning for the past several, several years they’ve been together, it still feels unreal. He thinks of her and remembers when they first met in college, first vacations, their wedding, their children’s births and even random memories from inconsequential days all at once. Like the day they got ice cream and she nearly puked in his lap on the subway because she insisted her lactose intolerance wasn’t that bad. Or when they were driving going to who knows where and there was a black sesame seed wedged in her tooth as she smiled at him and the car behind him honked for him to move because he was so dumbstruck by the way she smiled at him. When he thinks of her, a million memories and thoughts come rushing in at once to meld together to overwhelm him with one unmistakable emotion.
He figures he’ll never be able to articulate exactly how much she means to him with words. Hell, even for their wedding vows they had agreed to save the sappy stuff for afterwards—in private. He shyly presented a well-worn, heavily creased, ten page manifesto of his love in their hotel room, heart beating faster than it had during the wedding, feeling more exposed in that moment than when he was at the altar in front of all of their friends and family. His hands shook as she read each page, mouthing his words so tenderly back at him and he’s never told her that that moment was more nerve wracking than when he proposed.
So, he hopes that breakfast in bed makes up for it. Or, breakfast at their side table because she has a thing about crumbs in her bed. But nothing screams ‘domestic bliss’ to Kuroo quite like the idea of pancakes in bed and that’s why he’s bought so many bed trays even though she rolls her eyes every time.
And maybe, that’s what love is. Delivering breakfast in bed to your no-food-in-the-bed rule making partner on the trays she banned from the house. But, because you were so focused on making the perfect heart shaped pancakes and the fact that you bought a very expensive ring a long time ago, she’ll forgive you and ignore your citrus stained hands as you tenderly stroke her hair until she wakes.
Kuroo grins to himself as he makes his way to their bedroom, tapping his wedding ring against the handle and feeling the small weight of the gift box in his left pocket.

What bliss, domesticity.
Tumblr media
for: @tink2kagome. i’m sorry it took me so long to work on ur pretty setter squad request T^T i’ll probably do like another one in the future!
  & @lady-tokugawa-of-mikawa @belpomme @chaichai-the-weeb for being such lovely mutuals <3 <3
Content warnings: rape/noncon; nsfw; yakuza/organized crime; gun mention; a lot of (non-sexual) food references in this one
Jun’ichi Saikawa was obviously the kind of man who liked to laugh. Not unlike most people in their world. The kind who use their entire body when they do, announcing to the entire world with a bellowing “Ha Ha Ha!” how pleased they are with whatever’s going on in front of them.
Which, in all honesty, was pretty admirable, that the old man could still do it considering how bored to tears Wataru was.
That it’s a humid afternoon didn’t help either. He could feel the sweat on his back even when the doors were already slid open, exhibiting a verdant garden filled with blossoms and shrub peonies. From his place he could see the school of koi swirling in the shallow pond, their scales iridescent under the warm rays of the sun.
“Didn’t know you were the funny sort, 'Kaashi!” Saikawa blurted out, the sake in his hand spilling to his fingers.
This wasn’t Wataru’s first day on the job, but this is the first that he gets to do something this important. And with someone he highly respects, too.
So he gave his collar a light tug, steeling himself to endure as he tucked his legs further beneath him, and resorted to thinking about the many things he would absolutely surrender just to lie down on the warm mat.
  His car, maybe.
The brand new noise-cancelling headphones he bought, if pushed.
  Wataru saw Akaashi nod.
“I appreciate a joke every now and then,” he said.
  The larger man laughed again.
“Here, here!” Saikawa thundered, snatching a tiny, yellow box from the maid who appeared as swiftly as she’d left.
“I heard you like sweets. Here,” he said, grinning as he handed it to Akaashi. “My youngest son just opened a cake shop. I know what you’re thinking, but who am I to say no, eh?”
Akaashi passed the box to Wataru.
“Mind it for me, please,” he whispered.
How unexpected. Akaashi-san has a sweet tooth.
  Huh.
That’s pretty neat. Wataru himself wasn’t partial to cakes, but he does love pudding.
“You are a good father, Jun’ichi-san,” Akaashi told him.
This time, Wataru didn’t bother suppressing a yawn as Saikawa fumbled for his phone, hiding it behind his hand as he stared at the birds chirping and hopping about outside.
“Wanna see him? He’s much like you! Good head on his shoulders, that one.”
“I am honored, Jun’ichi-san,” Akaashi echoed back, peering down at the photos Saikawa showed him.
“He sends me a lot of these- uh,” Saikawa snorted, his nose reddened by the alcohol. “What do young people call it, the- pictures-”
  “Selfies?” Akaashi politely supplied.
“That’s the one! Look. Precious, ain’t he?”
  His earpiece crackled to life.
Konoha’s voice emerged from the static.
“We’re ready when you are,” his senior murmured. “Man, this is taking too long. Let’s get some burgers when we’re done.”
“Akaashi-san,” Wataru croaked, feeling his cheeks heat up as he continued, “K-Komi-san and the others are waiting for you.”
Saikawa perked up. “Ah, of course! Of course!”
He stumbled when he attempted to stand up. Akaashi was quick on his feet to assist him.
“I knew I could count on you, son,” he muttered, patting Akaashi’s back. “Now, you tell Bokuto that what happened between us- it’s all in the past! All in the past! And if those bastards mess with him again, you tell him to run to old Jun’ichi!”
  Akaashi clasped Saikawa’s hand.
“Thank you,” Akaashi said. “I’ll be sure to relay your sentiments to Bokuto-san.”
“You do that, my boy.” Saikawa’s belly shook as he laughed. “Your generation’s a smart one, indeed. The in-fighting and wars, bah! All that trouble for nothing; that’s not your style. Your lot’s the future now!”
Then, Akaashi stepped a few meters back and bowed.
  Wataru followed behind him.
“We will be taking our leave,” Akaashi said. “It has been an illuminating talk, Jun’ichi-san.”
The sound of the bamboo drip trickling water into another stalk permeated through the silence.
It collapsed and clunked against a stone.
He heard the birds flutter away.
When Wataru raised his head, Saikawa had already been lying face down on the floor.
And, of course, Wataru’s used to it: the crack of a gun muffled by a silencer.
He’s been practicing his entire life, after all. He actually doesn’t flinch anymore and Wataru thinks he should be proud of himself.
It’s just that... how could someone who used to be there, suddenly...disappear? Saikawa was right in front of him a few minutes ago. Laughing and showing off photographs of his son. And now he’s...not.
But, Saikawa didn’t disappear. Not really.
The blood seeping through the tatami is proof of it, but Wataru chooses not to look. In theory, he knows what a bullet through the skull looks like. He’d just rather not see today if what he’s taught reflects true in the real world.
  Maybe some other time.
  “Wataru.”
  Wataru flinched. “Y-yes?”
Akaashi looked back at him. “The cake?”
His body was still trembling and it took a lot of strength to not let it show in his hands when he gave it back to Akaashi, the box pleasantly yellow with doodles of doe-eyed eggs dancing along the handle. Unblemished, unlike Akaashi, who was sporting a splatter of blood along his cheek.
It’s surprisingly still cool to touch, too.
“No, thank you,” he said, rejecting the handkerchief that Wataru offered.
From afar, Wataru could hear the faint melodies of an old love song being played by a car radio. No doubt Konoha’s doing. It followed them, growing louder the closer they walked back into the parking lot. The others bowed and sent gruff salutations along Akaashi’s way as they dragged bodies out of the Saikawa mansion.
(It was nauseating and Wataru wanted to pass out.)
He pressed his nails harshly into the meat of his palm.
“A-Akaashi-san,” Wataru began. “I didn’t know that- that um, you liked... sweets.”
  Akaashi halted.
“No, I don’t,” he said, blinking. “But my wife does.”
  Wataru stared at him.
  Akaashi went ahead.
He stayed that way— staring and wondering, until they stopped by the fast food restaurant that Konoha loved so much. Wataru couldn’t even finish his burger and fries.
By the time that they hit the freeway, Akaashi had already cleaned himself up and Wataru was still grappling with the word “wife.”
Of course he knows the man is married.
But, how, exactly, do you reconcile his reputation with the sight of him, every passing headlight sharpening his features, quietly humming along to Aki Yashiro? Who was longing for Shinjuku at night, the beauty of it, and oh, how wonderful it’d be, she said: a rendezvous with her lover, waiting for her under raining cherry blossoms.
Wataru figured that he was tired and starting to see things.
That small smile that graced Akaashi’s lips couldn't be real, either, especially those hands of his that held the box of cake like it’s worth more than gold.
Tumblr media
He wasn't really particular when it comes to music. A song's a song, in Akaashi's opinion. Another form of noise that helps when the silence gets too overbearing.
But you, on the other hand, liked music. Listened to it the same way one eats their favorite food: memorizes the lyrics; goes out of your way to collect unearthed photographs and newspaper clippings that made the singer seem more human.
You loved music— was probably the right way of putting it.
Especially the old variety. He didn't get it at first. The sounds are dated; no one speaks in that language with that cadence anymore; the singer's probably dead.
Well, Akaashi still doesn't get it, if he were to be honest.
  Yet here he is.
His hands were wrapped around your waist, coaxing you into a slow— albeit clumsy, waltz.
  "Kei-kun!" you squeaked. "The dishes!"
You dragged your slippers beneath you, struggling to wipe the suds off your hands.
  "S-seriously, Kei-kun..!"
Sure, he doesn’t fully understand what’s great about it, music.
  Yet here he is.
Perhaps it’s because he immediately recognized the first few notes this time, that’s why he’s doing this. He didn’t even wait for the DJ to finish saying, “You’re still listening to Vintage F.M. Here’s a classic for you couples out there. Have a romantic night with Nat King Cole’s L-O-V-”
Perhaps it’s because your cream stew tasted extra special that it made him shrug the fatigue off, giving in to the urge of pulling you close and taking your damp hand in his to sway and bob along the skipping bassline. Your bashful objections went in one ear and out the other.
Sure, he’s not the type to do this, either, dancing.
  Yet here he is.
Perhaps it’s because he knew that it’s your favorite song.
Perhaps it’s just what marriage does to you.
"Did you like the cake?" he whispered against your neck, inhaling the scent of cinnamon and the way your skin jumped as he did.
Your breaths were shallow against his chest, but you managed a soft, “Yes, sweetheart. Thank you.”
Akaashi caressed your back, kneading the tensed muscles as he huffed.
“Good,” he murmured, trembling. “Good girl. What a relief."
It was endearing, how offbeat the both of you were. A shame, though, considering that Nat King Cole’s fervently insisting on love; that it’s all that I can give to you; that it’s more than just a game for two.
So Akaashi makes up for his two left feet by joining in. He pressed his lips to your forehead. How strange, your presence in his life. What did he do to deserve you by his side, for this contentment that thaws away the chill?
(He put a ring on your finger, is what he did. He deserves this.)
“Two,” he droned, made giddy by the sparks in his belly, “in love can make it.”
  You looked at him, wide-eyed.
“Take my heart and please don’t break it.”
  He spun you around.
“Oh my god, Kei-kun,” you gasped. “You can’t sing.”
Akaashi’s aware of it all too well. He can’t carry a note; not him: the guy who’s had monotony ingrained in his very being. But that’s why he has you.
A startled giggle left you as he guided you into a box step, the trumpet rising and falling over the strings. You stepped on him a few times, so he lifted you up, just so, and kicked off your slippers. Then, he set your feet atop his own.
He took you with him as he moved, waddling and careful not to hit his back against the countertop. It came as no revelation that both of you weren’t any better dancers even after this maneuver.
  Akaashi continued. Starting with L—
“Is for the way you look at me.”
“Stop, stop-” Your eyes crinkled at the sides. “You’re flat.”
Akaashi persisted, anyway, taking your cheek to pepper kisses all over your face.
“O is for the only one I see.”
Your laugh was airy— light and buoyant all over the kitchen, like a fairy leaving stardust in its wake. Not gratingly booming nor demanding. After all, you weren’t the kind who felt the need for it: an audience to witness how pleased you are; how strong and powerful you are over everyone else.
Besides, your laugh was just for him. A private and intimate thing. And he was so lost in it that he almost forgot what’s been gnawing at him for the entire morning.
Akaashi rested his chin on your shoulder, nuzzling the downy fabric of your dress as he gripped you by the hips.
  “Where did you go earlier?”
The orchestra was in a joyous uproar, joining the rapid beating of your heart; the trumpet bright and clear, singing in harmony with the bass and saxophones and trombones, as Nat King Cole repeatedly guaranteed, as if an oath, that love was made for me and you.
Love was made for me and you.
“I had to buy some groceries!” you piped up. “We ran out of ingredients. Sorry, I forgot to bring my phone with me. Oh, I have to run you a bath. I’ll tell you when it’s done, alright?”
You broke away from him with a beaming grin, but Akaashi wanted to ask, despite the evidence of it before him.
  “Are you happy?”
It has already ended, the song. The DJ was signing off for the night.
You nodded, playfully jabbing his arm with a fist.
“Of course,” you told him. “Why wouldn’t I be?”
Perhaps it’s because you were never really good at pretense, no matter how much you hid behind needless noise.
  Music. Laughter. Running water.
Akaashi sighed as he slumped down the nearest stool.
Of course you’re happy. Why wouldn’t you be?
After rubbing his eyes with clammy fingers, Akaashi fiddled them together beneath his temples. He released a heavy breath and fished for his phone in his pocket.
He spoke after the first two rings.
“Wataru-san, I’m sorry for bothering you,” he said. “Can you do something for me?”
His subordinate didn't ask him why, neither did he react when he'd stated his request. Akaashi knew, however, that the question was sitting in Wataru's clipped replies. The boy’s “yes, sir” and “understood, sir” were far too enthusiastic than normal.
Akaashi didn’t mind, though, if he did ask. And despite that familiar pang of dread, Akaashi would answer him like the common— just like the average, everyday husband— with that characteristic, bordering on irksome pride that they have when they talk about their wives.
  Why?
“Well, Wataru-san,” Akaashi would answer. “Perhaps this is just what marriage does to you.”

The house was a house like any other.
There was an old pickup truck parked outside the freshly painted gate, carrying crates of fruits and vegetables in its trunk. Along the bricked walls was an overgrowth of vines and ferns. It extended around the windows and crept up the balcony.
A large Shiba ran outside and jumped to your lap as soon as it saw you by the driveway.
Wataru heard Chiaki stir at the back of the car.
“Pay up, asshole,” he grunted, waking a disheveled Ryota who’s still holding a half-bitten melon bread.
His lackey cracked his neck and gave the scenery a cursory glance. “Could be a front.”
Ryota grumbled and went back to sleep.
“Idiot,” Chiaki clicked his tongue. “She traveled all the way to Miyagi just to give intel? And here? Of all places?”
  Three days.
They’ve tailed you for three days. Akaashi-san never said anything else, besides that within the week, while he’s gone and sealing deals in another country, there was a high likelihood of you folding and getting out of Tokyo.
To run right here. In Miyagi.
He didn’t say why, really, but Wataru supposes it’s better that he didn’t. Because during the days of absolute, mind-crushing boredom, of watching some suburban wife go out for a morning walk, chat with her neighbors, and shop around the market, rinse and repeat, coming up with the Why had been their only salvation.
The betting pool has two answers: cheater or snitch.
Chiaki was insistent on the former, while Ryota stood by the latter.
And Wataru...Wataru could only watch, waiting with a bated breath as the door finally opened.
“I bet it’s someone younger,” Chiaki said. “Usually is.”
Seems that none of them were winning anything today.
The man who emerged from the house was far older— who, oddly enough, resembled you. An  old woman soon followed behind him. Both of them looked at you as if they were witnessing a specter, or someone who's crawled back from the dead. An appropriate comparison, especially since they’re both wearing somber black clothes.
It wasn’t his place to assume. Though he’s been promoted to a slightly higher position, it will never come close to the place that Keiji Akaashi occupies. Wataru knows all of these, but nothing was stopping him from putting the pieces together, no matter what little he has.
They could only stare when all of you broke down into tears, locked in each other’s embrace as you knelt on the pavement.
Don’t let her stay too long.
That had been one of Akaashi-san’s orders.
So the three of them didn’t wait it out. By the time that the sun had set, Wataru had already stepped out of the car, taking Ryota with him. He made sure to remind the boy, just in case he’d forgotten.
  “Be gentle, alright?” Wataru reiterated.
There hadn’t been any need for that, it turned out.
He’s sure you’ve never met before, but Wataru saw bitter understanding flash in your eyes when you caught them loitering in front of your house. Fear was there, too, of course.
Wataru was convinced that surely it’s a good thing. It saved everyone a lot of time, that way.
You didn’t even say a word, only giving Wataru a stiff nod when he’d introduced himself, and remained like so on the ride back to Tokyo, with the strap of your handbag trapped by a clenched fist. Wataru didn’t try to initiate small talk; it felt unnecessary.
It took a while for Wataru to realize that you also hadn’t bothered to change out of your pajamas, though he gave you a couple of minutes to say your farewells.
Pajamas, obscured now by a thick, gray coat.
  Akaashi-san was right.
You had no plans of coming home. Not tonight. Maybe not for a while.
Wataru decided not to linger on it anymore.
He ignored the blank stare that pierced right through the rear-view mirror. And then, Wataru wondered, hand sweating in his pocket, what the three of them should have for dinner.
Tumblr media
Thick chunks of pumpkin melted in your mouth with just the first spoonful of broth.
It'd been a while since the last time Akaashi cooked. So, more than anything, it was the sight of him setting plates and utensils that took you aback, greeting you with a, "Welcome home. You're just in time. Food's ready," his sleeves rolled to his elbows while donning your baby owl-printed apron.
The taste didn't. Surprise you, that is. He's a good cook. Unlike you, who only became marginally better one hundred burn scars later.
It also didn't surprise you that he flew back home at the drop of a hat. Even when he said he'd be gone for a week.
"How is it?" Akaashi asked after chewing. "Took me a while to make it."
It obviously did, you thought. When you arrived, Irma Thomas was already begging through the record player.
"Do you need me, like I need you?" she implored, straight from the heart. "Look at me, I'm crying from holding you."
The last song on your favorite record. It was cheap and had the best from the artists you loved.
Etta James. Ella Fitzgerald. Aretha Franklin. The Mills Brothers. Bessie Smith. All in one vinyl.
"Yeah," you replied, clearing your throat when you realized how hard it is to speak. "It's delicious."
You looked back down to your bowl. The  tofu had gone untouched. Your food was still close to spilling to the brim, while Akaashi was almost finished with his, scrolling on his phone laid on the table.
"So no one coaxed you into it," you heard him say, and that had ripped your eyes away from the broth like a bandage on an infected wound.
Akaashi was holding your phone, reading the messages- his number was the only one there, as pealing bells resonated in the dining room.
"I'd think of all the things that I wanted of you," cried Irma Thomas. "To make me forget the pain that you caused."
"I would've known if anyone else talked to you, anyway," he huffed, locking the screen before blowing steam off the morsel.
"You would," you conceded. The tofu was soft when you bit into it, sinking into your teeth.
"I found that in our cabinet. Last time it was in the kitchen drawer, wasn't it?" Akaashi helped himself to a bowl of rice. "Don't leave it in stuffy places. What if you forget where you hid it and you won't know when I call?"
"And I can no longer keep track of where you are for every moment of the day?" you could hear him say. Though he didn't; though all that could heard, besides the scraping of utensils, was Irma Thomas declaring:
A fragile thing, like life. It just don't last so long.
It could be for a minute or an hour. Or then again, from now.
Your lips tightened with a grin. "I won't do it again, sweetheart," you said, spoon hanging limply in your hold.
He didn't need to say it.
That your phone has a tracker. That this house is still the same cage that it'd been before. That the only difference between then and now is that silver band on your finger.
Akaashi’s blinked back at you as he sipped  what remained of the soup. You tried to do the same.
The savory taste was cloying and it burned in your throat, so you didn't attempt to finish the bowl. It cut down to your heart, sinking heavily on your stomach, bile rising as the song came to a close.
You gulped it down, though. You had to. And in the final moments, Irma Thompson told you what she really wanted.
"Make me forget," she said, "the pain that you'd caused."
The chorus joined her. "Understanding is a great thing," she concluded. "If it comes from the heart."
Akaashi was on his own phone this time. Most likely checking on the business that he left, judging by those furrowed brows and that long-suffering look in his eyes.
Fizzling noise came at the heels of the fading music. Then, it stopped. And there was nothing left anymore but silence.
It's over now. Akaashi’s making a move to clean up. You were supposed to say, "That was a lovely dinner, honey." Or, you could tell him to sit down and watch a movie with you when he's done.
"I'll help you with the dishes," you wanted to say.
I'll help you with the dishes. It was so easy to say.
Instead, what came out of your mouth was a hushed call for his name.
"Kei-kun," you repeated, brittle and weak and dry.
"I'm so sorry," you might've mouthed.
You could barely hear your own voice as you looked at him. Akaashi paused from tidying the table.
You're parched and a lot has happened today. Gathering the courage to take that first step out of the city had taken what little strength you had. The fear never left you. Seeing your old house almost ended you.
It should be physically impossible for you to still be able to cry. And yet there doesn't seem to be an end to your tears now, the same way your apologies unfurled in an embarrassingly infinite string.
"Don't lock me inside here again," you whispered, clinging to him as he shushed you, wiping your cheeks with his thumbs as he helped you drink a glass of water.
He carried you to your room and sat you down on the bed, right between his thighs. You sobbed into your hands, tears and snot on the sleeves of your pajama top.
"I- I just wanted to see them. That's all. Just one day, Kei-kun. One day. I was gonna come back, I swear."
You're rambling. You're a madwoman pleading and bargaining with a stone-cold judge because playing house is the only thing keeping her alive.
And you messed that up you foolish, foolish girl.
"Please don't hurt my family," you heaved. "They're all I have left."
Akaashi doesn't speak, not for a while, but when he did, you bawled harder.
"I can kill them all," he said, matter of factly.
It is true. Hearing him say it does not make it easier to take, though.
"I can hurt you the same way that you hurt me."
Your neck strained as he tipped your chin towards him with a slender finger.
"I can break you," he muttered, not batting an eye.
That, too, is true. You know it all too well. He said it with such serenity, still and undisturbed by the shaking of your head, because it goes without saying.
  Except, you, too, know it.
When he is breaking. When he is falling apart.
He smothered you, taking your entire body to curl against you, making himself small as he pressed his face on your back.
"Yet- and yet I-" Akaashi sniffled. You felt your shirt dampen. "I've given you everything."
When he finally brought his face close to yours, he looked so lost. Almost like a little boy who's on the verge of drowning,  clinging desperately onto a lifesaver and too shocked to shout for help.
You hated him all the more for it.
"Each other," he said, snarling, almost, through tears as he grabbed your face with both hands. "That's all we have left, you hear? You and I. Husband and wife."
He seized your jaw and turned it towards the vanity mirror.
The room was dark save for the light in the hallway, peeking into the crack through the doorway.
But you could see yourself. And you could see your hand intertwined in his, your rings gleaming like muted starlights.
"We made a vow," he whispered, kissing your ring finger.
A detached part of you is astonished with how inescapable it is. Whether it be a reward or a punishment; a good day or a bad one.
No matter what happens, you always end up like this, don't you?
Begging to him with your legs spread wide.
You did as you'd always done when he began unbuttoning your top.
You go back to that autumn morning, when you first laid your eyes on him, a cup of coffee in his hand, and you thought that he had the prettiest face you'd ever seen.
You go back to when he was just this really romantic guy who sent you flowers every day. There was a letter, every time.
Nothing too grandiose. Just short messages hoping that you'd have a great day ahead.
He kissed your neck, wet smooches and long, flat-tongued licks dipping down your shoulder.
He watched you through the mirror, his eyes a pair of darkened blues daring you to look away.
Akaashi Keiji was your boyfriend, you told yourself. You dated him for quite some time before you married.
Akaashi Keiji got along well with your father and doted on your mother. On Sundays, you visit them and they send you back to Tokyo with ripe watermelons.
Akaashi Keiji has never hurt you.
The man tracing the hem of your bra, cupping your clothed tits and drawing lazy circles over nipples, however, did.
(And he still will in future. He still is, right now.)
This man is the real one.
And you have angered him, so he will not make this easy for you.
"What did you promise me?" Akaashi whispered as he lightly bit the shell of your ear. "Or have you forgotten?"
Of course, you haven't forgotten. You were chained to this very room when you made them, after all.
"N-no, I remember," you said, catching your breath. "I remember, Kei-kun."
"Then say it," he said. "Look at me."
You shivered as his palms swept over your  stomach; as he unfastened your bra, letting it fall down your arms.
"Look at me when you say it."
You felt your nipples harden, gooseprickles spread all over you, as the air hit your bare skin, cooling the sweat that made it glisten.
  "Please," he rasped.
The eyes of the woman in the mirror was hooded, threatening to close as she puffed with each squeeze and caress to her tits, swiveling her hips against her husband’s crotch as he grinded into her.
"I will be happy," she said.
Akaashi nuzzled your temple, using his rough fingers to tease your nipples just as he did, brushing them to and fro, then grazing the bumpy skin around until you're squeaking out his name.
And when he began pressing down on the stiff peaks with his thumbs, before rolling and pulling at them, the heels of his palm digging into your tits, you saw the woman claw at her husband's hair, a graceless affair that almost scratched his eye out, making him reach for both her arms to wrap them around his neck.
"I- I will..!" Her lips parted in a breathless scream and it was disgusting how lewd she appeared. "I will not run away!"
The streak of tears on his cheeks touched yours when he kissed you. His lips were soft and warm, his wet tongue gliding in so slowly as he deepened the kiss with a throaty groan.
His other hand crawled down to your soaked panties. You couldn't contain the mewl that left you.
Both of you gasped and struggled to breathe again after you parted from each other.
"You understand, don't you?" he rasped.
Two of his fingers slid down your folds, only to slither back up, then down again, smearing your cunt with its own slick.
But he never touched your swollen clit, even though it's throbbing and aching to be rubbed and the hard bulge sitting between your ass grew harder the more you squirmed in his hold, whimpering like a bitch in heat.
You heard your husband sigh, his hot breath tickling you when he said, "This isn't about you now."
Tumblr media
Belly pushed into the edge of the dressing table, rattling and battering against the wall with each forceful thrust, and your leg perched atop it, made numb by Akaashi's grip on your thigh.
That was the first thing that you could recall when you opened your eyes.
But your entire body was screaming in pain, so you knew that everything else that happened last night would come back to you soon enough.
The flesh had a memory of its own.
You sat up with a groan and you didn't have to see the marks to know.
His teeth were still nipping at you, biting you until they drew blood, only to follow with an apologetic lapping of his tongue.
You could feel him beneath you, his hands clawing you down to him, palms kneading your ass cheeks as you bounced up and down on his cock.
You could feel him above you, gripping your wrists not unlike the cuffs that once kept you shackled. He had your legs wrapped around his waist, pulling you close to him, filling you up with loads and loads of cum, squelching every time he sank down your weeping hole.
And when your vision began to blur at the edges, he carried your body, mere seconds into fainting, to the dressing table.
The evidence of that stared back at you in shameful streaks and smudges, traces of your fingers on the mirror when he rammed your cunt from behind.
  "Are you happy?" Akaashi whispered.
  You don't know.
When he's just your husband who comes home to your arms and brings you sweets because he knows how much you love them; who dances with you in the kitchen and listens intently to you when you talk about that cute dog you saw at the park, were you happy, then?
You don't know, but the woman in the mirror, in that moment, surely was.
She even said, "Yes, yes, Kei-kun, right there, fuck me right there!"
Her pupils were blown wide, eyes rolling almost over to the back of her head. And despite the cries that escaped her, there was a wide, dissipated smile on her lips,  spit trailing down her chin.
"Look at you," Akaashi said, grunting when your walls tightened around his shaft. "You're clearly happy with me."
"So why? Why'd you even think of leaving?" He rocked his hips, grinding his thick cock against that spot that had you holding onto the mirror. "Don't ever do that to me again."
You told him no, no, you won't run away again, but it didn't seem to placate his unease, nor his tears.
"I'm so scared, everyday, that you'll leave me and- and- it feels like hell. I would rather die."
He kissed your nape as he huffed and said, "Because I don't know what I'll do without you."
You never really understood why; what about you had caused him to single you out in the sea of people that had vied for his attention. Especially now as you looked at yourself in the mirror.
There were dark circles under your eyes and Akaashi’s t-shirt was rumpled on your body, engulfing you whole with its size— a far cry from that lovely, dazzling bride that his best friend, Bokuto, had described you as on your wedding day.
But you’re aware, more than anyone, that Akaashi Keiji is the last person to care about appearances.
When he entered the room, carrying a tray in his hands, he gazed at that disheveled girl with eyebags big enough to be dragged around the same way he looked at her when he waited for her at the end of the aisle.
“I made you pancakes,” he muttered, clearing his throat as he sat down beside you.
You were tired so it didn’t dawn on you as quickly as it should that he made them the way you preferred. Four fluffy pieces stacked atop one another, sprinkled with powdered sugar, whipped cream and a smattering of berries on the side.
He fiddled with his fingers when you only stared at it, so you immediately took the fork in your hand and sliced the pancake in half.
“I’ll be taking some time off work,” Akaashi said as you took the food in your mouth. You only nodded, having noticed that he wasn’t wearing the usual bespoke suit as soon as he entered the room.
You felt him near you; felt his hand, warm to touch, cup your face.
“I didn’t mean to hurt you.” His eyes were misty and, this close, it seemed that he, too, wasn’t in a good shape. “So please-” Akaashi licked his chapped lips, “Please don’t go.”
“I won’t,” you replied, giving him the smile that you knew he needed. “I promise.”
Then, as you moved to kiss him on the cheek, the chains that tethered you to the bedpost clinked softly beneath the blanket, and you didn’t bother to keep the tears at the bay.
Akaashi wiped them for you when you said that you loved him. And when he asked why, you only shrugged and told him that the pancakes were so sweet that they could make anyone cry.

This is another redo.
I’m 21, go by she/her, and I’m straight.
I’m around 5’5 at least, and I’m a brunette (fairly long, fine, wavy hair) with what I’d describe as (though in my case, they’re kind of sunflower eyes) basically green eyes with a brown ring. I have fairly pale skin and bluish glasses. I kind of have hooded eyelids, though I don’t take much note of that, if any. I also have a bit of a baby face according to my family (I was mistaken for a 17 yo at age 19). In regards to my body type, I don’t know my exact body type, but to give you an idea, I’m not skinny but not exactly chubby either. I’m not exactly sure how feminine my body is, but that’s ok. I have a few birthmarks scattered here and there on my body and a few moles, but only like 2 of them or so are particularly visible (the one on the right side of my forehead isn’t too big, but it sticks out). I’m half-Mexican (mom’s side) and half-Chilean (dad’s side), but have some Sephardic ancestry on my mom’s side, so maybe that’s where it comes from lol.
I’m an ISTJ, a Scorpio (year of the dragon), and a Ravenclaw.
I’m generally very patient and easygoing, which makes me very easy to please (the downside of that is that it can make me fairly indecisive sometimes). Like, I’m that person who will order mashed potatoes at a restaurant but will still eat the food if I get fries instead. I’m introverted but I can kind of handle a large group, though I do prefer to be alone or with a small group most times (and yes, family and friends are part of that small group). I’m generally quite soft-spoken, so I don’t yell much. I’m very much a homebody, so I prefer to be close to home. I don’t typically indulge in fashion and makeup-related affairs, but I’m at peace with that. Reading (more often than not digitally), however, is among those things I do enjoy. As for what genre, most are generally fair game, Shakespeare, and Jane Austen being a few examples. I also like swimming when the weather permits it. I’m also a huge opera and musical theater nerd, but I like any genre of music. Of course, I have sensitive ears due to me being on the autism spectrum, so I usually like to have things like noise-canceling headphones on hand. Also, I’m rarely in a bad mood according to my family. Also, I rarely ask for anything. Of course, I should also mention that I am staunchly pro-choice but I’m still in favor of the idea of having a family of my own at some point. I generally like to assume the best of people according to my family, which may cause some issues. Also, I can be a bit of a mom friend.
Some things I’m good at include singing, playing musical instruments (piano and flute, but I’m open to learning others), sewing (my mother jokes that I sew like a Victorian lady-in-waiting), possibly writing (my professors have said I write good essays), academics, and taking care of animals (I’ve volunteered at the same vet clinic for a number of years and I’ve learned a lot) I’m also multilingual (I speak English, Spanish (due to growing up in a Spanish-speaking household), and French (due to me taking lessons in high school)). I’ve also been said to be good at puzzles by my family. If needed, I’m fairly good at comforting people (according to family members). As for dancing, I’m decently good, but a bit rusty since I haven’t danced in a long time (I usually like ballroom or Latin dance styles). I’m also decently good at doing voice impressions (accents included). According to my parents, I actually have quite a good memory, which may be both a blessing and a curse in a relationship. I’m also good at giving massages, according to my family.
Of course, I do feel that I have to give you warning of a few drawbacks: For one thing, with me being on the spectrum, I struggle to directly address what I need (still working on that). It takes me a few tries to say what I want to say sometimes. Furthermore, I have some issues with social skills, so I need a gentle nudge in the right direction once in a while. According to my mother, I have something of a lack of a social filter (she knows me better than virtually anyone). On top of that, I process things slower than most, so that may cause some issues. Also, the hearing thing means I don’t take the best to yelling.
Now, in regards to my sense of style, I don’t wear dresses much, if at all, so I have mostly shirts and shorts/pants, sweatpants and nice pants included. This also extends to me wearing my brother’s shirts if they fit me well enough (I’m a size medium). I reserve dresses mostly for special occasions, like recitals. Occasionally, though, they may see some use if I travel abroad. For example, if I travel to Cancun or Monterrey, one of the two Puebla dresses I have may see some use. This is dependent on timing as the Puebla dresses I have are short-sleeved and thus best for summer.
As for what I seek in a man, when it comes to looks, I’m not really picky. I don’t mind if he’s shorter than me or if he has some unusual features of any kind. For me, the first thing I notice about a guy is his voice. Like, if I like his voice, that attracts me to him further. Tying into that is accents. If he has a unique accent, that is a bonus for me, whether it’s Cockney, southern, or something else. If he can sing, that’s even better. Of course, even if he can’t, I’ll still love him anyway. As for his personality, I usually like gentle, patient, caring guys. Bonus points if he’s good with kids on some level. Also, it would be nice if my future s/o had a sharp mind. Like, they could discuss things like philosophy and psychology (I’m open about being on the spectrum) with me. In regards to cooking, I don’t mind doing it if needed, but it would be nice if my partner could too. Of course, while all this is good, at the end of the day, I mainly want my would-be s/o to be caring, patient, and faithful. I’m not a jealous woman, so I’m not going to pry too much into his business. I may ask questions out of curiosity but that’s it because I want to go into this trusting my future s/o. As for what kind of a relationship I’m looking for, ideally, something solid and long-term. Also, I would want my would-be s/o to feel loved, so I’d dote on him as best I could if he liked.
I hope I’m not asking too much, but sweet J e s u s, I’ve said a lot! I am so sorry. You’re doing amazing You’re doing amazing by the way; have a nice day/evening/night/whatever it is in your time zone!
No worries. Thank you for the request and the kinds words and I hope you’re doing well too.
Notes: I’m doing two characters depending on if you’re reading the manga or not and I apologize that I did not add everything.
Tumblr media
Snake!
Snake cherishes friends and those who he views as family so having someone who is similar in that sense will make him very grateful. He’d love that you’re a mom friend too as it would really make him feel loved and appreciated. As for your beliefs, I feel like Snake would have the same or at least similar views so you won’t have to worry about any disagreements. He’s new to a lot of things so having someone patient in his life would help a lot. He’d be very understanding of you being on the spectrum and if he ever doesn’t quite get something then he’s completely open to you explaining things. Your intelligence and love for animals will get him falling in love with you all over again too.
Now, Snake also struggles with social skills which will be difficult for you both but I see the possibility of the two of you slowly but surely working each other out of your shells though you may feel as though you both aren’t going anywhere which is where both your and Snake’s patience will be tested. I don’t think he’s too fond of loud noises either so if you two ever find yourselves in a situation that is too overwhelming then either Snake will give you as much comfort as possible wether it be getting you and him earmuffs and holding your hand (if you’re okay with it) or finding you both a quieter place to relax depending on the situation. He wouldn’t mind your sense of style at all (despite what other people in the Victorian era would think) and would find your overall appearance charming. This man will love how talented you are but he will also have moments due to how much he’d care for you where he may get insecure so reassurance is key with him. Snake speaks for his snakes so you’ll get rather used to multiple voices and accents when it comes to being around him but he’d definitely be more open about just talking to you himself. He’s so incredibly gentle as a s/o and would treat you with the upmost respect.
Tumblr media
Blavat Sky!
Where do I even start? Blavat has would take great interest in you as a whole. Your intelligence to your musical talents, to your powerful beliefs and love for discussing psychology and philosophy. Blavat loves it all and though he may be a bit odd and out there, he’s certain to be a very understanding and caring individual. Although he may tease you for being the mom friend, he doesn’t mean any harm and he’s honestly such a sweet and hardworking guy too (which counts in relationships.) You being on the spectrum won’t trouble him and he might even ask questions only out of curiosity and interest. You being good with kids would be amusing to Blavat and I can see him loving you all the more because of that.
You needing someone to help nudge you into being social bit by bit would be Blavat’s honor and although he may not seem like it sometimes, he’s very observant and understanding so he’ll notice if you get a bit too uncomfortable. Your indecisiveness will annoy him just a tad which could result in a few arguments but he would always want to try and understand so talking about it will help but brings me onto another thing, the difficulties you have with communication can be troubling for both of you though Blavat wouldn’t blame you as it’s more of him struggling with how to help you with this but again, he is very observant and also good at reading people so he’ll also be able to figure out anything that might be difficult to bring up. Although he hasn’t been animated yet (he needs to be), I headcannon Blavat with a really soothing and nice voice and I feel like he’d enjoy reading with you so the thought of him with that beautiful voice reading Pride and Prejudice would be a literal dream. He is into spirituality so he’d definitely be into reading your fortune but only if you’re comfortable with it. I honestly think he’d find your style and overall look adorable and would genuinely respect you for how knowledgeable you are with writing, knowing so many languages and singing (he’d definitely ask for you to sing for him too.) All in all, Blavat would be a very calming, intelligent and supportive partner but let’s not forget teasing as well.
Other matches are Wolfram Gelzer and Sebastian Michaelis.

When all of the customers have piled out of the pub, and you're cleaning the tables, you can't stop thinking over Jesper and Kaz' conversation.
If only you knew what gang they were part of, you could have easily snuck into their main building. You needed to find out exactly when this party was going to take place, if you wanted to steal the necklace.
You tried to think of any other way to find out the date and location of the party. You hadn't heard any other customers talking about it, so you guessed it was a party reserved only for the elite. And Ketterdam's finest didn't come to a somewhat dirty little pub like the one you work in.
You had to be smart about this. Maybe if Jesper or Kaz came back, you could try to follow them. Find out where they were meeting, what gang they are.
And if that didn't work, you'd just have to find some dirt on them and use it to your advantage. You'd done it countless of times before. Though this was an entirely new city, with new potential targets and clients, you are confident you can pull this off.
You have to, if you ever want to be able to rent a clean room, preferably one not directly above a pub.
But it looks like your luck has decided to abandon you. In the next three days, you don't see Jesper or Kaz in the pub. You even take on extra shifts, claiming you just want to earn more money. When in reality, you are on the lookout for either one of them.
They don't show up. And you have no way of telling if the party already took place or not.
On the fourth night, your gaze is fixed on the door again as you're working. Finally, your coworker steps closer to you.
'Did you like those two that much?' she says.
'Huh?' you say. You'd been so lost in your thoughts you hadn't heard her approach you.
'I'll take that as a yes.' she says. 'That tall one was cute. The other one gave me some creepy vibes.'
'What are you talking about?' you ask her.
'Those two that came by a couple of days ago. You kept hovering by their table, and you've been daydreaming ever since.' she says, smirking at you.
You laugh and shove her away. If only she knew the real reason why you had been hovering around their table. You decide to try if maybe she knows about the party. You doubt it, but there's no knowing unless you try.
'Hey, are there any good parties around here?' you say. 'I've yet to explore Ketterdam's night life.'
'Well, there are some.' she says. 'But most of the fancy ones take place at some merchants house. We'd never get in.'
'Sounds like one hell of a party, then.' you say.
'Oh, they're the best. On nights like those, you can see them all dressed up in their best clothes, jewellery all over the place. It's quite impressive.' she says.
'Hmm.' you hum. You hadn't seen a scene like that, so the party probably hadn't taken place yet.
'The merchants' wives have a new gown for every party.' she says.
'Really?' you say, genuinely surprised that they do. Surely you could spend your money on better things than a gown you'd only wear once.
'Uh-huh, they never wear the same thing twice. The other day, I was in one of those expensive stores to pick up an order for my aunt, and one of them was there. She kept raging on about how her dress wasn't going to be ready in time for a party.' she says.
This gets your full attention. Maybe this was about the party Jesper and Kaz were talking about.
'Was she really mad?' you say, pressing on.
'Furious.' says your coworker. 'She said that if her dress wasn't ready by Tuesday morning, because the party is that night, she'd never come to the store again.'
'Huh, what an attitude.' you say, trying to hide your gratitude for finally finding out the date of the party. All that was left was the location, and which wife exactly would be wearing the priceless necklace. But at least you got one piece of the puzzle.
'You really should have heard her. She kept yelling she couldn't possibly show up to Christensen manor without a new dress.' she says.
'Christensen manor?' you say, hoping you don't sound too curious. But apparently, your coworker loves gossiping way, as she nods eagerly.
'He's one of the richest merchants around. He's the one hosting the party. Rumour goes the ring he always wears is worth so much money, it could buy half of Ketterdam.' she says.
You snort. 'Half of Ketterdam? That seems a little too much.' you say.
'Oh, you'd be surprised.' she says. 'His family is always nearly sinking to the floor with the amount of jewellery they wear. They like to show everyone just how much money they have.'
'Aren't they afraid it gets stolen?' you say.
She shakes her head. 'They have too much security for that. Even the gangs back in the Barrel wouldn't dare to pull off such a daring stunt.' she says.
You smile to yourself. If only she knew at least five gang members were planning exactly that.
The two of you look up when a bell rings, signalling the end of your shift.
'That's my cue.' you say. 'You sure you're gonna be alright out here?'
'I'll manage. Go and get some rest.' she says.
'Alright, goodnight.' you say.
She waves at you as you walk toward the stairs to go to your room. To her, it seemed like you were just gossiping away. Little did your coworker know she'd given you exactly the information you needed. Maybe working at a pub turned out to be useful after all.
So the party would take place on Tuesday night, at Christensen manor. And his wife would most likely be the one to wear the necklace, if they parade around with their riches so much.
All you had to do was make sure you arrive before Jesper and Kaz do. You'd worked your way through more difficult plans, you could handle this.
When you wake up on Tuesday morning, you get dressed quickly and sneak out of the pub without being seen. You're grateful you bought loose pants with a lot of pockets.
You've hidden your gun in your pants, and your knives are strapped around your thighs. You didn't expect there to be an escalation, but you liked to be prepared.
You arrive at the manor, which looks abandoned. There are no lights on yet, but then again it's barely dawn. The reason why you came here so early is so you could inspect the building.
There are at least four different escape routes you can see. But you didn't know if you woud still have access to them when the manor is swarming with drunk party guests. And guard. And, of course, a few disguised gang members.
You pick out a spot in an alley across from the manor, and wait.
When you first stared doing jobs like this one, you didn't have patience at all. It caused you to be sloppy, to make mistakes and miss opportunities. But over the years, you learned that patience is a valuable ally.
You sit in the alley for hours, eating the food you'd brought with you. You're observing the manor, watching as servants come and go in order to prepare the party that would take place later that day.
When the sun starts to go down, the party guests arrive. Your coworker had been right; they're all dressed in expensive looking clothes in the brightest colours. Jewellery shines on their ears, around their necks, on their fingers and wrists.
You're lucky you're patient. Otherwise you would have simply snatched a less valuable necklace. But you had your eyes set on a prize, and you're determined.
When most of the party guests have entered the manor, you sneak closer and enter through the door the servants had used all day. Luckily, there's no one in the room you enter.
All you have to do is follow the music to the main area, and find the merchant's wife. Easy.
You make your way through the hallways, occasionally stopping to take cover when you hear someone approaching. Finally, you make it to the room where the music is the loudest.
People are laughing, drinking and dancing. You'd love to be part of that life some day. To just spend your days dancing with your friends, playing dress up. But that kind of life would have to wait.
You scan the room from where you are standing, and spot a couple dancing in the middle of the room.
They're dressed in colours so bright they seem to light up the room. The woman is nearly entirely covered in shining gemstones. And on her chest rests a heavy necklace, a large diamond dangling from it.
You look around the room, but don't spot Jesper or Kaz. They aren't here yet, or you just hadn't seen them. You had to be careful. They knew what you looked like. And as soon as they caught sight of you, you didn't doubt they would tell their companions.
Behind you, a servant approaches with a tray laden with glasses of wine. You smile and walk up to him.
'I'll take it from here, Christensen said you could take a break.' you say, holding your hands out to take over the tray.
It surprises you how easily he hands it over to you. Was working at a party really that bad you'd take the first change of getting a break you got?
You don't have time to question it. You have to move quickly if you want to be out before the gang members arrive.
You manoeuvre your way through the crowd, and most people don't even seem to notice you're not wearing a servant's uniform. Maybe they're too drunk to notice. Or maybe they just don't care.
After spotting Christensen and his wife again, you make your way toward them. The music stops just about the same time as you reach them.
Before the next song starts, you make yourself trip, spilling wine all over Christensen's wife.
She lets out a yelp of surprise when the red liquid stains her dress. She furiously turns at you and you're quick to put on a shocked face.
'I am so sorry, my lady.' you say. 'I tripped, oh Saints, I'm so sorry.'
'Watch where you're going!' she says. 'You ruined my dress.'
'I'm sorry, I'll help you clean it up.' you say.
'You better.' says the merchant, Christensen, as he roughly takes a hold of your arm and pushes you to follow his wife out of the room.
You keep your eyes down as you follow her through the halls. She opens door after door, muttering to herself about useless servants. She stops when you've entered a bedroom.
She opens another door to reveal a bathroom. When she sees her dress in the mirror, she glares at you.
'I haven't seen you here before.' she says.
'I'm new.' you say, keeping your eyes on the floor.
'New and clumsy.' she says. 'Wait here while I change.'
She takes off her jewellery and shoes before disappearing in the bathroom, closing the door. You don't know how much time you have, so you move quickly.
You grab a hold of the necklace and shove it into one of your coat pockets. You're debating wether or not you can go back the same way you got here, but then you hear footsteps approaching.
You whirl around, and spot a window. You could climb down and get as far away from the manor as possible.
With three big steps, you make it to the window and open it. You carefully climb through the window and being to work your way down to the street.
Just when your feet hit the ground, you hear the merchant's wife scream.
'Thief!' she screams. 'I've been robbed!'
You smile as you start jogging toward the street, to go back to the pub. When you round the corner of the manor, you see a few people making their way toward it.
Two guards and three people dressed as elaborately as the other guests. For a split second, you wonder why three guests would be accompanied by two guards, but then you remember Jesper and Kaz' hushed conversation.
A grin starts to spread across your face. You'd been fast enough. They'd go in only to discover there was no necklace to steal.
You walk across the street, keeping your head down. In the distance, you hear the woman still screaming. She had made it to the main party room.
'My necklace!' she yells. 'That damned servant took it! Find her!'
You see the small group of people outside the manor stop, and turn to each other. You can tell they're confused as they talk to one another. Probably wondering what the odds were someone else would steal the necklace they had their eyes on.
They're all looking at each other, except for Kaz. You can see even more clearly now he's the leader. Instead of looking at his companions, he's suspiciously looking around, his eyes scanning the dark streets around the manor.
You smile to yourself and disappear into the shadows. If you had it your way, he'd never find out you'd outsmarted him.

Frosty the Snowman
Harry and Y/N love the holiday season but Harry takes the teasing a bit to far and well Y/N decides to give it right back.
Word Count: 5126
A/N: hello! thank you so much to @goldenbluesuit for organizing this wonderful christmas fic challenge. thank you for allowing me to participate, kate. i’m so happy i got to be a part of it. merry christmas and happy holidays to you all. sending you all a big hug and lots of love.
_____
Christmas has never been much of importance in your life.
That was until you began dating Harry.
Harry and his family loved celebrating in particular because Harry was gone for so many months of the year. They loved giving gifts, and Harry loved spoiling his family. He was a true family man who loved to be doted on by his mother and teased relentlessly by his older sister. His smile never leaves his face when he's with them.
Ever since Harry found out how you spent the holidays alone drinking wine and hot chocolate on and off and binging all the best holiday movies. He declared that was not acceptable and that furthermore and until the end of time you would be spending it with him and his family.
The first year was something out of a storybook, a house full of kids and adults, Christmas music all day, and a big festive dinner. Gifts passed around, photos being taken to be added to the end of year scrapbooks. Lots of stories being told; honestly, it overwhelmed you.
Anne found you outside wrapped up in Harry's coat that you swiped before slipping out unseen. She stood next to you, overlooking her garden with you. "My son loves you; he's brought you here not to overwhelm you but to let you know that you have a family here, and you always will." You let your tears run free, feeling comforted, and loved. "I've never seen him shine as bright as he does when he's with you and when he's speaking of you. We all want you here as much as he does." Anne then pulled you into a long hug, the motherly hug you never got growing up.  Reminded you not to stay out too long.
Three Christmases later, you now take part in family traditions, helping Anne cook dinner and staying in sweats and playing family games all of Boxing Day.
It's what makes your move to London with your boyfriend of four years easy. Knowing they want you there, knowing that the love Harry has for you won't fade, you've gone through many hurdles together, and it only strengthened your bond to one another.
Four years together, and you're still learning new things about each other, like Harry having to have coffee first thing in the morning, bread was a must-have always in the house, and that he owned more mugs than he needed. He picked up that you adored your shoes, meaning you wouldn't throw them out until they were ripped and beat up enough for a new pair. Also learned that you rather eat lots of fruit during the day than making food in the kitchen because it meant more dishes that would be needed to wash. You loved doing the laundry, Harry knew it was to steal his shirts, but he didn't mind. He always knew where to find them.
The one thing that really surprised him was your love for Christmas music; you knew every song, maybe couldn't remember the name, but you would be able to sing it. It never failed to make him smile; you even knew ‘Feliz Navidad’ and didn't butcher it as he did.
Your love for Christmas music was signified because you never celebrated the holiday, and music was easy to access. It was what you immersed yourself in.
This is why Harry is confused when he hears you begin to sing ‘Frosty the Snowman’ under your breath, then switching to a soft hum in the tune of the song as you start to place your freshly washed sweats in their drawers.
Harry was not sure why you did that; you loved singing out loud. You had a decent voice, as you liked to say, but why switch.
You're clueless to Harry watching you, deep in thought, trying his best to analyze you.
Then Harry gasps; it all clicks, making sense.
You raise your head to look at him, shutting the drawer with your hip. "What?"
"You don't know the lyrics." Harry accuses.
"To what?" You step towards the bed, wanting to finish the rest of this to finally go down and each lunch.
"Frosty the Snowman."
"I do." You defend.
Harry smirks, crossing his arms. "Prove it."
"No."
"Why not?"
You frown before taking a deep breath and begin to hum the song correctly to Harry.
"Okay, you know the tune, now the lyrics." He gestures for you to go on.
"Frosty the snowman..." Your voice dies down, you rake your brain for the correct lyrics, sending a smaller prayer you're right. "had a shiny nose?"
"Oh, this is golden, love." He's laughing now. It's filling up the room.
"Harry," You whine.
"You call yourself the Christmas Queen." Harry is holding his stomach, his laughter getting to be too much. "Next, you're going to tell me you don't know the lyrics to 'All I Want For Christmas Is You.'"
"How dare you, that came out in our birth year." You're over making fun of you.
"Okay fine, but really so many years, and you never learned. You said you love all Christmas music, and well, that's a classic, dove."
You run a hand through your hair, your fingers getting caught on the tips for not brushing it out. "I never actually got to make a snowman, so I never listened to the lyrics."
"Are you secretly a Grinch as well?" Harry teases.
You throw a balled-up shirt of his and hit him square in the face; it quiets him down. "Conversation over."
You walk out of the room, leaving him alone, to his chuckling.
_____
In your home, something was always baking.
It was either Harry trying to better his last bread or you baking a new vegan cake that Gemma sent you.
It's something you both loved to do.
For you, though, it was your own form of meditation. No matter the time of day, if you felt your head spinning, you'd just head to the kitchen and begin to take out ingredients letting that be your only focus. The Great British Baking Show also brings a lot of comfort to you, Harry happily laying his head on your lap, your hand running through his hair as you just let the show play on and on.
Now, you're in the kitchen for a whole other reason; you're baking gingerbread cookies, from snowflakes to snowman and even little reindeer. Harry has invited friends over for a fun holiday decorating party. It sounded like a good idea until he left you to do it all yourself as he ran errands that he pushed off for a week.
Thankfully, there were no distractions during the time it took you to make one hundred cookies because there would be casualties during the decorating. Just as you were putting the last dozen on the cooling rack, does your phone ring causing it to cut off Paul McCartney's singing of 'Wonderful Christmastime.'
As you pick it up to answer, you check the caller id and see that it's Gemma calling.
Gemma forgoes a greeting and goes straight to the reason for her call.
"You don't know 'Frosty the Snowman!'" She exclaims more than asks.
"I'm going to kill him." You groan into the phone.
Gemma laughs, "No, no, please don't. Mum likes you too much to see you behind bars."
"Gem, he's been relentless." Thinking back to the past few days and how he'd randomly come up to you and just begin to sing the lyrics to you, not shutting up until you tickled him too much to continue. "Please don't let it come up later."
"I've got you," Gemma assures you.
"Thank you."
"As long," Gemma begins, but you groan jokingly into the phone.
"Go on," You sigh, knowing this is how the eldest Styles sibling acts.
"As long as you tell me what Harry bought mum for Christmas."
"Alright, fair." Very well, Harry would most likely spoil this himself the closer the holiday arrives.
Just as you were about to spoil Harry's gift, he walks through the kitchen, saved by the devil himself. "I'll tell you later when you get here." You tell Gemma, smiling at Harry as you bid his sister goodbye.
"Who was it, love?" Harry asks, kissing you lightly on your lips, being able to taste the gingerbread on your lips that makes him beeline to the cooled cookies.
"Gems, a huge birdie told her I don't know the lyrics to a popular song." You lean against the counter, smiling as he has a cookie in hand already; he is also a big reason you made so many.
"Hey," He says, offended, a cookie half shoved in his mouth. "I'm not huge."
"Never said it was you, hun." You smirk. "Thanks for fessing up."
He pouts, not liking that you outsmarted him.
"Might want to watch the cookies." You pinch his love handles, snatching what was left of the cookie from his hand and heading upstairs.
Harry watches you walk away, upset that you stole his cookie; also, he knows you love his winter gains.
_____
You and Harry are up fairly early, he likes to go on a run around the neighborhood, but you like going to the park. This morning you skipped your run because Harry was meeting up with a friend for breakfast.
Sure, you got up at your usual time at 7am and began to prepare yourself breakfast. You usually drank coffee with Harry and seeing as he wasn't here, you decided to skip it, instead going straight to the fridge to get the fruits and orange juice to make a smoothie. Something simple, not wanting to clean much after.
As you finally settled on the couch, getting ready to read Educated by Tara Westover, a book Gemma recommended to her then gifted to her. Tara's memoir is her story of how she comes from a Mormon background and recounts how she educated herself to go to college and learn about the world. It's a Friday, and what better way to spend it lost in a book.
You had just flipped it open when your phone rang, alerting you to a message. As much as you didn't want to check because you were finally in a comfortable position, you knew it could easily be Harry checking in who gets worried about not getting a reply even five minutes after. He's a worrier at heart.
As you retrieve it and settle yourself back down, not at all comfortable anymore, you see it's a message from Iz. She was the first friend you made on your own that Harry didn't introduce you to. Iz saw you at a coffee shop you began to frequent and complimented your tote bag that had wildflowers embroidered on it. You thanked her and shared you made it. Iz was shocked, just throwing compliment after compliment. You offered to make her one, but she said you had better teach her instead. Thus, a friendship began.
Her message read:
Radio 1 Breakfast Show. Listen in!
It was definitely a strange message coming from Iz, but you did as told.
Greg James was saying goodbye to his special guest, no idea who it was. "Before he signs off, he's going to play you one of his favorite Christmas songs," Greg says, then silences, allowing his guest a moment before speaking.
"This week's Christmas song is in honor of my girlfriend who loves singing Frosty the Snowman... without knowing the lyrics. Happy Holidays."
Your jaw drops.
That your boyfriend's voice. You are the girlfriend.
He went on record.
Harry really went on live radio to tell thousands that you don't know the lyrics to a Christmas classic.
You want to laugh because you never expected this from him and are annoyed that something personal now the whole world will know by the end of the day.
You can't wait until he arrives home.
"Harry Edward Styles!" You yell as you hear Harry open the front door.
He looks sheepish. "Yes, my darling angel."
"You told me you were having breakfast with Greg James, not that you were going to be on the Breakfast show."
"I took muffins, and they provided coffee, therefore, breakfast." Harry defends
"You exposed me to all of the UK to not knowing 'Frosty the Snowman.'"
"No one knows you're my girlfriend." Harry tries to brush it off.
"We've been dating four years; I'm not that much of a secret. Anne posts me on her story from time to time, and your friends follow my Instagram, fuck; you've introduced me to Greg." You're not angry, more annoyed than anything because he won't let this go.
"It's just to give everyone a good laugh; no one is going to hold it against you."
"No, just my boyfriend and everyone who listens to the Breakfast Show." You cross your arms before storming up the stairs away from Harry.
"Love? You're not actually mad, right?" Harry asks, pushing the bedroom door open.
"You even got Iz on it!" Your turn around with a pout on your face.
Harry laughs. "I honestly thought she wouldn't go through with it."
"Well, I see where her loyalty lies."
Harry steps close and pulls you into his chest. You sigh, wrapping your arms around him. He knows how much you love his hugs.
"I promise this is the last I mention of it."
You frown into his chest, not at all believing him. Harry pats your bum, and you take that as the queue to look up at him. He's smiling down at you, leaning in to give you a quick peck. "I promise."
"Okay, then." You lean in and kiss him, firmer this time and much longer. Harry sneaks his tongue in, instantly getting a moan out of you.
"I know how you can make it up to me." You gasp, pulling away,
Harry raises an eyebrow at you. "Do tell."
A smirk on both your faces as you guide him to the bed, very much hungry for something that wasn't breakfast.
_____
Harry has the Christmas playlist running; it's a Sunday, meaning they spend it at home doing absolutely nothing. To be truthful, they rolled out of bed past ten and still have their pj's on. Not at all bothering to change, why waste more clothes if no one will see them like this in the comfort of their own home.
You cooked grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch and now are playing a game of scrabble.
Harry puts down the word 'light,' then reaching his hand into the black pouch to pick five letters to have seven once again. You are looking back and forth between the board and your letters, thinking of the best place to place your word.
"I've got a question," Harry says, looking at you, wanting all your attention as well.
"What is it?" You're focused on your letters. Rearranging them, not putting down the 'q' in your hand. It's currently useless but will eventually give you a word to win the game. Not that you both ever keep points, oh no, that stopped after you beat harry 120 to 66, and he flipped the board, causing letters to fly everyone. You still claim that there are missing letters.
"Frosty is a cute name."
"Reminds me of that Wendy's dessert. I'm still not sure what made it so good." You say, maybe you should get up and eat some. Harry did just pick up new flavors that he had been wanting to try something about them being richer in flavor.
"You're getting off track."
"Sorry, Frosty is cute for what?" You don't let him answer before you're speaking again. "A dog, did you get a dog?" You pause, looking up at him, "a cat, did Anne find a stray and wants to give them to us?" You wait, but Harry is about to crush all your excitement.
"None of that." He shakes his head at you, and disappointment fills you immediately.
"Well, can this conversation end then? I'm disappointed."
"Darling," Harry chastises you for not letting him go on.
"Go on then, mate." You gesture him to continue. Shifting your attention away from the game in front of you.
Harry frowns, his eyebrows pinching together in the sweet way that makes you want to rub them out until he's relaxed. "Why'd you call me, mate?"
"Oh, I've called you this before." You brush off Harry's reactions; he's always dramatic.
"I'm not your friend." He states.
You furrow your eyebrows and tilt your head and really look at Harry. "Well, of course, you are boyfriend," You emphasize, dragging out the word. "You're my best friend."
"You can't say boyfriend anymore. I'm your fiancé now." Harry states proudly, but you feel a little dumbfounded, not knowing why he is saying that.
Your eyes widen when you look down at your left hand, and no ring rests on your left ring finger.
"Fuck, I missed your proposal, and the ring got lost." You pout, trying your best to stop the smirk from coming out.
"Darling, I'm sorry." Harry quickly apologizes. "I'm still your boyfriend, but I will be proposing soon." He promises. "Shit, you were supposed to not even know. I really am bad at hiding things."
"Fuck, you really are." You laugh, "but boyfriend sounds cute. Can't I still say boyfriend when you do?"
"Doesn't fiancé sound nicer?" Harry tries.
You shrug. "Not as fun, husband is nice."
"You're rejecting my future proposal, then." Harry is teasing, and you can tell by the sparkle in his forest eyes.
"Of course not, you dummy. You can be my fiancé and my boyfriend." You tell him like it was the most obvious answer.
"Seems like a lot of work."
"Rude." You stick your tongue at him.
"Right, love, well try to remember I'm your husband once we're married, no more boyfriend."
"I will, hubby. You're going to be my hubby."
You both go silent.
You burst out laughing, "That's awful, I hate it."
Harry chuckles, nodding his head. "Yeah, I do as well."
"This is why I'm the brains in the relationship."
"Right," Harry rolls his eyes at you, not at all agreeing.
"Uh, darling, I went to uni and got two degrees while you only finished school at sixteen before going off to steal millions of hearts around the world."
"Including yours." He teases.
"I was always more a Zayn girl." You correct him.
Harry throws his arms up, "Can never let me win, can you?"
"Nope"
"We're off-topic." Harry realizing how far they strayed from their starting point.
"Where did we start?"
"Frosty."
You sit back, resting against the couch; you take him in and smile at how cuddly he looks in the purple robe that he stopped letting you use. "Well, go on."
"Seeing as-" He pauses, hearing the familiar opening notes to the song he was thinking of. 'Frosty, the Snowman' is now his favorite song. "Perfectly timed, as you don't know the lyrics to Frosty the snowman."
"Gosh, you're never going to let this go," You grumble.
"Nope. I figured we will have a little fun with this."
"More fun than the breakfast show."
He gives you a pointed look.
You let out a long sigh, "Let's hear it."
"You learn all the lyrics and sing it for me, and I'll let you get us a dog or cat." Harry's grinning at his idea, knowing you'll agree without a fight.
"Can we go to the shelter?" You look like a kid on Christmas morning who had just received their presents from Santa, and in a way, you have.
"Yes, we can. Only if you can learn the entire song." Harry tells you again, wanting to emphasize the singing.
"Done deal."
"Great, I'm giving you a week."
You smile wide, nodding, looking, finally focusing back down at your words and the ones Harry has placed. You put down the word 'queen,' and this wins you the non-official game. Harry looks down at his poorly hidden score sheet and curses under his breath.
"I win."
Safe to say you lost more letters that day.
_____
It's been a week, and Harry is patiently waiting on their bed as you get ready in your shared closet. Your shared closet is large and mainly holds all of Harry's clothing. You definitely have a nice share of clothes filled with gifts from friends as well as Harry's friends and your treasured thrifted pieces. You smile at yourself in the full-length mirror.
Harry really can't begin to imagine what you have in store for him.
The speaker is set out and ready, and all that is needed is for you to make your entrance.
You shake out your hands in hopes of ridding yourself of the nerves. You look yourself over one last time before taking a deep breath and pushing the door open.
"Close your eyes." You call out.
Harry rolls his eyes but does as he is told.
You walk over to the speaker and press play, letting the music fill the room, making your way to stand in front of Harry, who slowly opens his eyes.
He gasps; he feels himself start to get hard. His eyes can't seem to take everything in fast enough. You smirk, loving the reaction you got out of him. It gives you the extra boost of confidence you were needing.
You stand there, hand on your hip in a sexy snowman outfit to go with the performance you are about to give.
The dress, if you can consider it with how short it is, has three black buttons in the center. The material hugs your chest nicely, giving Harry a nice view of your breasts that are close to popping out. The dress hugs your waist and begins to flow out right past your butt. You wore your favorite black heels that Harry sometimes begs you not to take off. You had on a plaid scarf and a black hat that matched it perfectly.
You were the human version of the snowman except for a more rated r version.
Harry is sitting his mouth wide open at a loss for words. You blow him a kiss before letting the song lyrics flow out of you.
Frosty the snowman
Was a jolly happy soul
With a corncob pipe and a button nose
And two eyes made out of coal
You sway your hips side to side, singing, enjoying the ravenous stare he was giving you. You throw the hat, letting it fall at his feet, but not even that breaks the gaze he has on you, not wanting to miss a single movement of yours.
Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale they say
He was made of snow
But the children know
How he came to life one day
You take a few steps forward, but never enough to allow him to touch you, and he's craving it; you know he is. His hands are gripping his thighs, his knuckles turning whiter by the seconds.
He still hasn't said a word. You have him mesmerized.
You sing the lyrics proudly, knowing you practiced all week for this moment. The moment Harry will never forget all the teasing he had been doing, always forgetting you win these battles.
There must have been some magic in that
Old silk hat they found
For when they placed it on his head
He began to dance around
"Baby," Harry breathes out, putting a hand out to touch you, but you take a step back before he can do so.
You smirk, shaking your head no at him. You were having a lot more fun than you expected.
You bend over, slipping off your heels, never breaking eye contact with Harry; he could very easily see up the dress that you had nothing underneath. His green eyes turned dark, and you swore your heart stopped, and you were sure he was about to attack. You were the prey, taunting him until he had enough, but surprisingly enough, he took a deep breath, and his composure was back well, just a bit of it.
O Frosty the snowman
Was alive as he could be
And the children say he could laugh and play
Just the same as you and me
You stopped right in front of him. Harry's eyes trained on your red lips, hanging out to every word you were singing. You reached a hand back and began to unzip the dress. The grin on your face excited for the next reaction you were about to receive.
Once you reached the bottom of your back, the dress fell to the floor. Harry let out a loud gasp. Your breasts on display, the small owl tattoo on your hip staring at him, he could see how wet you were, and all he wanted was his head between your thighs as you screamed his name.
You were a dream. You missed Harry's touch. It was the reason you stepped close enough for him to finally pull you in.
He led them down the streets of town
Right to the traffic cop
And he only paused a moment when
He heard them holler "Stop!"
Harry has no expression on his face as he sits you on his lap. He lets his head fall into your next, feeling how wet you are through his thin sweats. You move to stand up, but he grips your hips tightly, thrusting his hips against yours, searching for some kind of relief or a reaction from you because you still haven't stopped singing.
"Baby, stop singing." His hand is cradling your cheek as his lust-filled eyes stare at you.
You shake your head, not letting him distract you. The only piece of clothing left was the scarf, and Harry lets out a growl before ripping your scarf off your neck, throwing it off to the side.
Now you truly sit there naked in his lap, and you feel all the control you have over him. The song is coming to an end, meaning you've got to remove yourself from your favorite place to sit but knowing you'll be back there soon enough.
Frosty the snowman
Had to hurry on his way
But he waved goodbye, saying
"Don't you cry I'll be back again someday"
You sing the final lyrics in his ear before walking away to turn off the speaker, an extra sway to your hips, knowing Harry is very well still watching your every move. You stand a delighted look on your face as you wait for his praise.
"Those were the longest two minutes of my life," Harry says; he puts a hand over his heart, feeling like it might just burst out. "I'm never going to be able to listen to this song in public or around anyone that isn't you."
You smirk, thrilled to hear that.
"What did I do to end up with someone as beautiful and perfect as you in my life." He confesses.
"Probably stopped a war in a past life." You throw out jokingly.
Harry puckers his lips and makes grabby hands at you. "Kissy, please?"
And who are you to say no? He spreads his legs, letting you step in between. You slip your fingers into his hair, pulling back with enough force to have him let out a moan. You lean down and connect your lips in a hot kiss, one that has Harry gripping you tightly wherever he can get his hands on. You moan as he slips his tongue into your mouth, and you happily give up the control to him.
You pull back and rest a hand on his chest, preventing him from pulling you back for you. You wipe your thumb over his bottom lip that now has some of your red lipstick. "Seems like I won, sweets."
"I feel like the real winner here," Harry tells you cheekily, sneaking a kiss to both your boobs. You giggle, not at all surprised by his action.
"Well," You fiddle with the collar of his shirt. "Why don't you show me how winners celebrate?"
"With pleasure." Harry groans standing up quickly and pushing you back against the best. He strips as fast as he can, not without a small stumble; you're sure to keep your giggle quiet, knowing very well how easily he gets embarrassed.
He is quick to get on top and kisses you hard. His kisses are always soft, but it seems the teasing seemed to flip a switch, one that you will happily remember to look to turn on again on a later date. Tonight, you are ready for an endless night of pleasure and love.
Harry connects their lips, ready for an endless night of pleasure and love.
_____
Christmas cards were a lovely tradition. Harry insisted they started because he wanted to show off his beautiful girlfriend to his friends and family. He also liked them handwritten because it added a nice personal touch. Who were you to argue about it?
This year you were the one excited to send them out.
It read: Merry Christmas from our beautiful family to yours
You and Harry sat in front of the fireplace, four stockings hanging behind you. Harry made you sit in his lap, wanting to show off your matching two-piece buffalo plaid pajamas. You both had the biggest grins on your face, eyes shining bright. Next to you, laying on top of a box that was wrapped with blue sloth wrapping paper, was a one-year-old Australian shepherd that had spent the better of six months in the shelter because the small pup was quiet who didn't do well with people, but that changed instantly the minute he met you. You decided on the name Frosty for him. Not only did Harry get you the dog of your dreams but a small kitten as well. You brought home Snow, a six-month white Birman kitten who was the rut of his siblings, and how could you just not bring him home with you with his big blue eyes staring at you begging to add to your family because he had lots of love to give. At least that's what you told Harry what the look he was giving you meant. The two siblings laid next to each other, both surprisingly staring right at the camera, making it their best Christmas photo yet.
A photo can honestly speak a thousand words because one glance at this photo tells you how much love there is in that home and their relationship.
Christmas was all about spreading joy and love, and well, Harry accomplished just that for you.

Nick Jakoby x Reader Oneshot- (Bright)
Tumblr media
“Oink, oink over here piggy!”
The group of men standing in the doorway made you grimace. Damn they pissed you off. Nick walked pass them with his head lowered, trying his best to ignore the rude remarks. You’d just clocked in, and this had become a regular. Their tauntings. You really wanted to body slam all four of them. But you restrained yourself. “Don’t bother with them Nick, their dick heads. “ It was no secret that they hated the male Orc. Nick was by far the sweetest man on the force, and he wasn’t even a man. Which really said something for the unit.
“I’m used to it, it’s fine.” you frowned. He shouldn’t have to get used to it. He was just as hardworking and diligent as any other cop. You nudged his shoulder with a smile as you walked with him. “Cheer up, in a couple of hours we have that awful dinner to attend. You have worse things ahead." Nick shook his head with a shy smile. “Is that supposed to make me feel better.”
“Not really.” with a small giggle, you met your partner. Nick headed over to Ward, and your eyes wandered, just admiring him. You had no idea why people gave him such a hard time. It’s true that Orcs sided with the enemy in the past, but that was thousands of years ago. The world had changed so much since then, apparently not in the ways you hoped.
Nick was so misunderstood and underappreciated. He had so much to offer if he was just given a chance. Not to mention he was a total sweetheart. Pretty handsome too. The final thought erupts a blush to your cheek, one that doesn’t go unnoticed by your partner.
“What’s got you all red in the face?” Jacob, your partner raises an eyebrow, and your face gets darker. “Nothing let’s get going.” he doesn’t quite believe you, and you try to steal one last look at Nick before you have to get going, but Jacob catches the action, a smirk playing on his lips.
“Shit I knew it!!” His yell catches the attention of everyone in a five mile radius and as the officers stare, you feel Nick’s stare follow. You cower, smacking Jacob who just waves everyone off. When their gazes have diverted, you glare at the man before you. He raises his hands defensively. “Sorry, sorry didn’t mean to cause a scene. Not everyday you discover your partner has a crush. Damn Victoria owes me twenty bucks!”
“Y-You betted on my love life with your wife!!”
“Umm, hell yeah I did. Why are you even surprised?” he was right, you shouldn’t have been. You just roll your eyes, and soon the both of you are headed to the squad car. Jacob is still wearing that smug grin as you jump into the vehicle. “So when are you gonna ask him out?”
“I-I’m not!”
“You’re kidding, you have to (Y/N)!” Jacob has always been majorly supportive, but you’re still a little anxious. Your head lowers. “Y-You don’t think it’s weird that I..I mean I don’t  care if anyone says anything but I just..I..” The way you're struggling with your words, it’s not hard for Jacob to understand. “Listen, I’d never judge you for something like that. We’re partners (Y/N), practically family now. And honestly Nick is awesome, dude brings me scones every Tuesday cause he passes at my favorite shop on his way to work. He’s a hero in my book.” He lets out a few fake sobs to get his point across and you just groan at his childishness.
“Seriously though, Nick’s a really good guy. Everyone treats him like shit, yet he comes back and tells them to be safe. If it were me, I don’t think I’d be able to handle it that well. He could easily quit, probably just become the monster everyone keeps accusing him of being. But he wakes up and he does the job, all because he loves it, he generally cares about protecting people who don’t give a shit about him. It’s inspiring to watch. There aren’t many people like left in this world (Y/N), if you find someone like that, you should do what you can to hold onto them.” His finger ran over his wedding band, a smile playing on his lips. “That’s what I did.” His smile makes your face brighten, and you nod.
“I’ll do my best. “
So maybe your partner wasn’t a complete idiot.
That afternoon when you get home, you’re on a mission. Jacob’s advice is ringing in your head. He’s right. So you’ve decided this annual police will be your best yet. You were gonna go all out. You rarely ever get dressed up, too accustomed to dark suit pants and uncomfortable belts. You wanted something to catch Nick’s attention, then maybe it would give you the confidence to finally own up to your feelings and ask the guy out. You jump into the shower.
“Time to knock them dead. “
~Three hours later~
“Quit fidgeting, you look fine.” Ward smacks Nick’s hands away from the tie. He’s been messing with it for the last ten minutes, mostly out of nervousness. This is his first time he’s worn a tux. He feels a bit ridiculous, but with Ward’s assurance, he can only hope he’s pulling it off. They stand at a table making small talk, mostly Ward.
Nick offers a word here and there. By the looks he keeps getting, he can tell that his opinion isn’t really wanted by the people there. So he busies himself with watching the other people mingling around him. Everyone looks relaxed, sipping wine, helpling themselves to food. He’s never been a fan of this. Every year they hold these little banquets to treat the new recruits and commend exemplary performances throughout the unit. It’s a fun event for the most part. But his fellow coworkers never rest with their harsh opinions. It isn’t even verbal, just by the looks he knows.
The sound of a few whistles catches his attention. There’s a small commotion at the doorway. He vaguely makes out the edge of purple, and that’s when he notices the man that walks in. But that isn’t what captures his eyes, it’s the woman he’s escorting on his arm.
Golden orbs widen, and his ears twitch a bit too quickly. He wants to control it, but it’s hard, because the smile that lands in his direction knocks the wind right out of him. “Wow, your girlfriend cleans up nice.” Ward whispers.
“S-She’s not my girlfriend.” he grumbles back. Now that you’re clear in his view, he can fully admire your dress. It’s a velvet luxe maxi dress. The color is a beautiful lavender. Thin straps at the shoulder, low cut displaying just enough cleavage. And a slit that stops mid thigh, with matching heels to complete the whole look. Your hair is loose, and a very light amount of makeup, highlighting your features. Nick thought you were gorgeous before, but somehow you’ve outdone yourself. He can’t look away, and he really should before you take notice. You settle at a table not too far from him, pulling the focus of a few males present there. With polite smiles and little words, Nick feels a bit envious.
“Now’s your chance hotshot. Ask her out before one of those hyenas beat you to it.” Nick wants to convince Ward that it’s useless, there’s no way you’d go for someone like him. You’re completely different in every sense of the word. He doesn’t have a chance. As he opens his mouth he’s about to lay out his case, but a sweet lavender scent fills his nostrils, and he wants to question the origin, just then he feels a light tap on his shoulder. He turns, and the heavenly aroma hits him tenfold. Somehow you’ve walked over without him realizing. He’s supposed to be more aware, he’s a cop after all. Your glossed lips turn into a smile as you bat your eyes.
“Nick..do you wanna maybe dance?”
The slow sound filling the room, doubled with the couples now filling up the floor catches his eyes. He’s tongue tied, because you can’t really be asking him. Out of all the guys there, why him? Yes, the both of you have been friends for months now, but he’s sort of assumed your kindness was due to pity more than anything else.
You're still watching him hopefully, and Ward gives an encouraging push. He stumbles, grabbing your shoulders lightly. When he’s steadied himself, he pulls back. “He’d love to.” Ward says. Nick doesn’t get a chance to put in a word for himself, because you smile, taking his hand and pulling him to the center of the dance floor. Nick is staggering behind, trying not to knock into anyone. When you get to your desired area, you turn back to him. Nick is stiff, the both of you are just standing there, a number of eyes on you. “I-I should probably just go, everyone is staring and I’d hate to make you uncomfortable.”
“I’m not uncomfortable.” His eyes lift, and the way you look at him, it makes his heart hammer. What has he done to deserve your kindness, he has no idea.
Deciding that you need to be the one to make a move, you take his hands and place them around your waist as you step closer. You can feel the slight tremble in his palms that are pressed to your body now. It’s so adorable. He’s still stiff as a board, but you know he’s trying. He’s probably so touch starved. It hurts to just think about it. Your hands are resting on his chest lightly, and you sigh, swaying with the music. Nick swallows, he’s a bit taller than you, and he’s trying his best not to look down directly at you. With you so close it’s hard for him not to pass out at how amazing you smell. Your hands slide up, going around his neck. His eyes finally meet yours, and the meaning in your eyes, it triggers something in him. “Nick..” you’re whispering, and it breaks his train of thought. “Yeah.” you lick your lips, and he wishes he could just kiss those plump lips. They are begging to be touched.
“Do you possibly want to-” a hand pulling you from the Orc in your arms makes you jerk. Nick looks just as surprised. The officer standing between the both of you, suddenly it makes sense, and you're pissed. “Run along pig face, she’s tired of you.” Pollard rests a hand on your waist, pulling you into his side, and you shove him back. “You’re the one who’s interrupting, what the hell we were dancing!!” you're enraged. Not only has he messed up your plan to finally ask Nick out, but he’s also insulted him. Nick can see the displeasure on your face, and he’s about to suggest that maybe you leave. The last thing he wants is for you to get caught in the middle of this. He could take Pollard’s insults any day. But he doesn’t want any negative attention drawn to you.
“Come on you don’t have to give anymore charity, we all know why you do this. You feel bad for little piggy here. Don’t waste your evening on him, how about you come with me. Have some real fun.” It’s almost laughable that he thinks you’ll drop everything and just run off with him. Nick now looks less sure of himself, a bit defeated. It’s then you realize that he must have assumed the same. You’re being nice out of some foolish obligation. You open your mouth to assure him, but stop. This time, words may not be enough. It’s time to take action. So with two swift strides you grab Nick by the lapels of his shirt and pull him in for a kiss. Pollard gapes, and Nick is tense and wide eyed.
“I’m dreaming…” He has to be. You couldn’t be..kissing him. Your eyes are closed, and you still have a firm hold on his clothing. A few more seconds pass and you pull back slowly. Your eyes move from Nick’s soft lips, to his topaz eyes. The bewildered expression is highly anticipated.
“If you’ll excuse us, we have business to attend to.” you take Nick’s hand, leaving a stunned Pollard, and a few surprised officers. You don’t even look back, you do however pass Jacob on your way out of the building. He’s grinning probably wider than you. When the door snaps shut behind you and you're free of the intrusive stares, you look at Nick. He’s still in a mid state of shock. “I’m sorry..” you mutter.
Now that the events play back, you’re bashful. You didn’t even get to ask him out. Nick collects himself slowly, shaking his head. “N-No it’s fine.” An awkward silence follows. You want to say something to cut the tension, but Nick interrupts. “I should take you home.” He doesn't look at you when he says that, and now you're a bit scared that you’ve crossed a line and misread all the signs. Self conscious and mortified, you just nod. Nick’s car is parked close, as he opens the door, you jump inside. He does the same, pulling off.
The ride is anything but pleasant. It’s so quiet you can hear a pin drop. Nick is staring ahead, and the look he wears is unreadable.
“I ruined everything.” You should have never done that, especially since you weren’t even sure of any feelings. He must be completely disgusted with you. You're thankful that the ride isn’t long, because in a few minutes he pulls up. You don’t make any kind of eye contact, just whisper a thanks, opening the door and stepping out.
You want to cry, how did the night turn so horrible that quickly. As you close the vehicle door, you all but sprint to your house, taking out your keys and opening your front door. You don’t even bid him goodbye, you just focus on getting inside. You do, stepping in and leaning back as you shut the door. “Idiot!” you scold yourself. “I’m an idiot..” you bite your lip. How would you ever face him again.
The knock at your door makes you jump, and you turn, opening the door hesitantly. You peek outside, a bit surprised. “N-Nick..” He’s staring at you, maybe wanting answers for all that happened. You step back, letting him inside. He’s the one that closes the door this time.
“Why did you kiss me?” Blunt, to the point. From the look, you know he’s just as conflicted by all of this as you. Now might be your last chance. You’ve already kissed him, what was the harm in telling him the truth. It might help you both.
“Because I..It’s what I’ve wanted to do for months now. “ you confess. His forehead creases in astonishment. “Nick I’ve..I’ve had it bad for you for so long and it makes my blood boil every time I hear the way they talk to you! You’re so caring and selfless and goddamn hot to me and I wish everyone could see how amazing you are if they’d just give you an opportunity.” you’re rambling, but you don’t care. “That jackass Pollard ruined everything I had this whole night planned out, I was gonna wow you with this dress and then finally ask you out but then he came with his false macho bullshit and it just pissed me off and that’s why I grabbed you like that to show him that this isn’t some charity I actually am crazy about you and I..” you heave, for a minute there you forgot you should breathe. “I’m so crazy about you Nick.”
He’s still just standing there, and now you’ve given him a chance to speak. From his expression, he doesn’t know what to say. You were so out of his league.
“I don’t understand why you would..why..” that self conscious  look, you’ve seen it many times.
“Nick, I want you.” he stops, eyes opening a bit wider now. “I’m tired of you being so hard on yourself. You have nothing to be ashamed of.  “ you take a step forward, and he doesn’t move a muscle. “Truthfully, when I saw you earlier in this tux, I almost passed out. “ your hands reach out, going back to where they had been before Pollard stepped in. Resting right on his broad shoulders. Another thing about him that made you swoon was his build. He was nicely muscular. It just messed you up. He needs a moment to gather his breath. “Nick do you..want me?”
“Of course!” his shout, as unexpected as it is, it makes you smile. He looks away at how desperate it sounded. “That’s good..” you don’t clarify, just lean in, and this time when your lips meet, he still doesn’t really prepare. It’s so tender, almost tentative. When he finally convinces his mind that it’s real, his hands wrap around your body, pulling you in. You sigh, and Nick responds, returning the kiss. Your head is in the clouds, You feel like you’re dreaming, if that’s the case you want to stay forever. You open your mouth, urging him to do the same, he does, taking control.
You moan when he pushes you up against the door, now kissing you hungrily. One of his hands drift down to your bare thigh, and another needy sound releases. You can’t stop it and you don’t want to. His free hand presses to the door, and your hands grip at the clothes on his back. You’re trying to pull him forward, and he complies, pressing into you. It feels so great, his firm body trapping you there. There’s a low growl that comes from Nick, and somehow you’re even more turned on. Your hands have ventured back to the front of his tux, unbuttoning it quickly. It falls open and your fingers slip under the jacket, reveling in the taunt muscles.
Gosh does he feel amazing. Nick feels you start to pull at the shirt, he forces himself to part. When you’ve separated, you’re both flushed and panting. Nick still believes maybe he’s at home sleeping somehow. The new scent that fills the air nearly makes his knees buckle. Your lust is so prominent, he can almost taste it. Your chest is still heaving, but you're slowly coming down from your high, so is Nick. It’s then you realize what was about to happen if not for Nick’s pause. You feel a bit embarrassed now. You hug yourself, blushing a deep red.
“S-Sorry, guess I kind of got a bit crazy..” Nick smiles. “You don’t have to apologize.” He’d be stupid to make you feel bad about such a thing. He was just as equally responsible. Fact is, it took everything in him to stop himself. As much as he wants this to progress, he also wants more than just a heated night with you. He wants so much more.
“(Y/N), I’d..really like to take you out sometime..” he mumbles it, still fairly insecure about it all. The way your eyes light up though, his fears are all gone. You don’t respond, and he doesn’t need one because you jump into his arms, pressing a kiss to his cheek, grinning like a child on Christmas.
“You don’t even have to ask, it’s a yes.” you  whisper in his ear. He holds you close, breathing in your scent. He wants to lock that away forever. He wants this to last forever. For now though, just being with you now, it’s enough.

Moving Forward - Chapter 5
Chapter Five
First stake-out...
—————
She observes the young boy and hummed. She instructed Adrien to try and look around thinking that it might've been misplaced.
'I have a bad feeling about this. It's already bad that it's missing, but if my theory is right that it is in Ladybug's possession, we might be at a disadvantage.'
— previous chapter... —
Marinette was nervous. She doesn't know if she can pull it off.
She was currently crouching on a roof near the Agreste Mansion, waiting for any signal from the kwamis. She was already feeling a strain in her body due to wearing multiple miraculouses at once.
She was wearing the ladybug earrings, black cat ring, fox necklace, horse glasses, mouse pendant necklace. There was a slight change in the plan. She decided to do a stakeout in the middle of the night, that is why she also had a flashlight in hand.
If there are no open windows or any entrance to the atelier straight from the outside, she'll just create a portal. She was currently transformed as Multimouse. While the four kwamis searched around the mansion. After waiting a few minutes the four kwamis came back.
"Sorry bug, but all the windows are closed. And it can't be opened." Plagg said.
"But, the atelier is empty, Natalie is already sleeping and Gabriel as well. Their bedrooms are a bit far from the room." Tikki said.
Marinette thought about it. "Hey, Trixx. You think your illusions, can affect the security cameras inside the room if there is any?"
"Sure Kit. My powers are meant to be useful to you!" Trixx said.
Marinette nodded. She will need to divide into two, one to unify with Trixx for the illusion and another for Kaalki's teleportations.
"I hope this can work..." She mumbled before preparing to activate the mouse's special power.
"Multitude!" She activated the power and waited. She felt a slight change in her when she opened her eyes a copy of her is staring at her. She handed her the glasses.
"Mullo, Kaalki, unify!"
The gray, pink and black bodysuit was changed. The pink accents of her bodysuit were changed into a dark brown colour, while her mask was removed and the glasses act as her mask. Her ribbons in her Odango-style twin buns were changed from pink to dark brown. A horseshoe attached to the back.
"Mullo, Trixx, unify!"
He bodysuit turned into Multifox's look, all the pink accents on Multimouse become orange, and she has a white section on her chest similar as a result of the Fox miraculous influence. The pink section of her mask also becomes orange.
Multifox looked in the direction of the mansion, before grabbing the flute from her back and playing a song to activate the power. As short 'Mirage' and the illusions are up. The cameras will only see an empty room, and if the doors are opened they will see a dark empty room.
Multifox nodded to Multimare to open a portal.
"Voyage!"
She activated the power then a portal opened. They went through it to appear in the middle of the dark empty room.
"Mullo, Kaalki, divide." Multimare mumbled, releasing the Horse kwami. Multifox handed a small pouch that has food for the kwamis.
Multimouse is on guard duty, she needs to be on alert, while Multifox, Plagg and Tikki walk up to Mme Agreste's painting. Multifox pulls the painting to reveal a safe behind. She looked at Tikki who nodded before phasing through. Multifox flicked her flashlight 'on' once the safe's door opened.
She saw a picture of Mme Agreste, a book about Tibet, a ticket to Tibet, rolled-up pieces of old paper, and a shiny brooch, that is shaped like a peacock. The brooch has five segments. Its main colour is pale, light grayish blue-violet, while the crystals on the top of each segment are pink. The lower part has a silhouette body of a peacock as a single teardrop.
She had her jaw opened. Hawkmoth just leaves it here?! Wow... What a great keeper. She grabbed the brooch and clutched it in her left hand. Before grabbing the book about Tibet which only has words about their trip and nothing important.
She placed the book back, closed the safe then returned the painting back to normal. She then nodded to Multimouse, who immediately transformed back to Multimare, and opened a portal straight to her bedroom inside the dorm.
Kaalki was divided and handed a sugar cube to eat, before Multimouse and Multifox fused, leaving only Multifox.
"Mullo, divide."
Leaving her in a fox suit. She removed the illusion in M. Agreste's atelier before finally detransforming.
"Trixx, let's rest."
Finally leaving her in her pink athletic leggings and a cropped black shirt. She was still clutching the peacock miraculous in her left hand. She made sure she didn't leave anything. She had the pouch and the flashlight on the floor after getting dropped when Multimouse and Multifox fused back together.
She sat down on her desk chair with the disguised miracle box opened on the side of the table. The other kwamis flew towards her, while She was inspecting the miraculous.
"Tikki, I thought the Peacock Miraculous was broken?" Marinette asked while still inspecting the miraculous.
"Maybe Hawkmoth fixed it? He did have the Master Fu's tablet for a while..." Tikki reasoned out.
Since she basically stole the miraculous from Hawkmoth. She couldn't believe what was happening. One moment, she was alone fighting a magical terrorist that has two miraculouses that transforms themselves as Shadowmoth. Then suddenly, here she was, it was supposedly a stake-out only! Not a stealing stake-out! But... finders keeper, losers weepers!
Marinette sighed before attaching the brooch to her shirt and hoped for the best. the brooch changed into its new camouflage design, it was now rose gold in colour, from the five feather segments when it is charged to eight with pale pink crystals on the top of each segment, there was no design in the middle, leaving the brooch in a simple yet elegant look.
A dark blue ball of light popped out and swirled around her, after the light vanished a peacock-looking kwami appeared.
"Oooh! Hello! Huh?! Why do you have the other kwamis?! Who are you?!"
Some of the kwamis laughed at the new kwami's energetic personality, while Tikki and especially Plagg grumbled about how to keep the kwami in one place.
"Hello, Duusu," Marinette said then smiled at the confused kwami.
"I'm your Guardian, I have retrieved you from Shadowmoth's possession. I am sorry that I didn't get to retrieve Nooroo as well..." Marinette continued.
The peacock kwami gasped before nuzzling on the Guardian's cheek.
"Thank you! Oh if you could've seen him, his outfit was hideous! Poor, Nooroo! Please Guardian, save him as well!" Duusu exclaimed.
Marinette smiled, she removed the brooch to put it back in the Miracle Box. Duusu didn't get sucked into it since she had no intention to relinquish him, after placing it inside the designated area of the peacock miraculously, she opened the middle circle for the kwami once they want to return in the parallel universe inside the miracle box. She let the other kwamis talk to him, while she handles civilian duties.
She opened her website on her computer and replied to a few emails before responding to requested commissions.
Clara Nightingale is commissioning her for a set of four dresses that will be used for her brand new music video, that had a theme of stars, constellations, space etc.
It was a weird concept for her but decided to accept it, thinking it could be a challenge for her. She wrote a reply email then sent it to Clara before closing her computer and climbing up to her bed.
"I'm going to sleep, be careful okay? There's food in the other mini fridge for everyone, since someone's food is influencing the other's food." She said while giving a pointed stare at Plagg who had the audacity to look innocently at the young guardian.
"Goodnight, guys!" Marinette said in between her yawns.
A series of 'goodnights' was heard before Marinette finally drifted to sleep.
—————
"Is she asleep?"
"Yes, it's quite rare for her to catch sleep lately, I'm glad that this new change is giving her quite a good impact." Tikki said.
It was currently hard for Tikki's chosen. A Ladybug Miraculous holders are usually the leaders. Those personalities are needed to become a ladybug since they are the only ones who can purify an Akuma, cast a purifying spell, and with Tikki's creations of Lucky Charms, they needed to be a tactician and are aware of responsibilities.
She was proud of Marinette. Such a young child has a strong devotion to protecting the city while risking her life, but now the stakes are high for her. Hawkmoth is aware that the Ladybug heroine is the current Guardian of the Chinese Miracle Box.
If he manages to overthrow Ladybug he can gain access to the box, and the fact that her bug needed to repress her negative emotions down into the deepest voids of her soul after being targeted by countless akumas.
Tikki knew it was taking a toll on the young aspiring designer.
Being a superheroine that needs to battle akumas whenever and wherever is already hard enough. She needed excuses for her various disappearance every time there's an Akuma.
Having an emotional battle of trust and faiths between her and her former classmates, ever since the Liar appeared. It took everything in Tikki to not pop out of the designer's purse and chew the vixen herself.
Her series of achievements through various commissions by famous peoples in society.
And finally, this Guardianship that was handed to her during an unfortunate event. She lost her temporary heroes since their identities were exposed to Hawkmoth, the loss of her Mentor— Master Fu, and now the loss of her partner.
Tikki and even the other kwamis are curious about how she was still standing straight even though she was carrying a lot of responsibilities on her shoulders. The fate of Paris, France, the fate of the world, and the fate of everyone's reality by preventing Hawkmoth from achieving his goal, that can have a massive impact on reality due to how powerful miraculouses are.
"I am proud of your chosen, Tikki."
Wayzz said in a calm voice. "She took in the responsibility of being a heroine exchange for her time in her civilian life, and now, she chose to carry the heavy responsibility of a Guardian even though she can refuse it and pass it to someone else, leaving everything behind."
The other kwamis nodded at the wise turtle kwami's words. Tikki looked at them and smiled.
"I'm proud of my bug. She's a worthy ladybug and had shown how worthy she is despite her flaws. She made mistakes, but she chose to fix them. And now she's healing from the toxicity she had received in that place. Sleep well, Marinette..."
