Red Wave

January 1st, 2025

Yo, so I started this Red Wave trial thing today. The docs said it’s supposed to, like, make your brain work better or something. Was told to track my thoughts in this journal thing. Honestly, I’m just here for the cash. I’m not buying into any of their science-y shit. Took the first pill this morning. Feel normal so far. Guess we’ll see if this stuff actually does anything.

Since I was told to describe myself a bit, I guess I might as well if I want that cash they promised. Name's Blake. I'm 26 and work at a local manufacturing company in the finance department. It's a pretty chill gig. Don't gotta wear a suit either which is good. Didn't even wear one to my graduation and I don't plan on starting now.

Anyway bro, I'm also a proud atheist. Never got into politics, but I guess I'm more liberal. I mean, just let people do what they want, right?

Alright, not gonna lie, I’ve been feeling kinda sharp lately. Like, my head’s clearer, and I’m getting more stuff done at work. My boss Emily even said my presentation didn’t totally suck, which is rare. Oh, and I actually ironed my shirt today before work. Don’t know why—just felt like I should look decent. Weird, right? Maybe these pills aren’t total BS. I don't know why, but I've been thinking of wearing a tie to work...

So get this, man: I bought a suit over the weekend. A whole grownup suit and a tie to go with it. I dunno know why, but I just felt like stepping up my game for my presentation at work today. And man did I look good. I got so many compliments on my fit. It honestly felt really good. My bros thought it was weird and so do I, but now that I have it I guess I'll use it at another presentation in the future.

April 15th, 2025

Something weird is going on. I heard some chick at work talking about her church today. Instead of scoffing and rolling my eyes, it made me, like, think a little. Like I got curious about it. I don't know what's going on, but I might have to check it out sometime.

Speaking of work, I've been wearing a tie more and more. It feels... right. People seem to notice too. I get so many compliments about them. I went back to the store and pick out a whole bunch of different colors. I may be the only guy in the department wearing one, but standing out isn't a bad thing I guess.

Alright, so… I went to church today. Yeah, me. Blake, the proud atheist. Walked past St. Mark’s on the way to grab Starbuck's, and something just made me stop and go in. The music was kind of awesome, and the pastor’s talk about purpose hit me harder than I expected. I don’t even know what’s happening to me, but I’m starting to think there’s more to life than what I’ve been living. I might go back next week to see what I've been missing, but I'm not sure yet.

June 30th, 2025

This morning, I prayed. Like, actually prayed to God. I’m still trying to wrap my head around it, but it felt… good. I’ve also started reading bits of the Bible over the past week. There’s some deep stuff in there. Work’s going great, too. I’ve been mentoring one of the new guys, and Emily says she’s impressed with my leadership. Suits are now my everyday thing. Who knew dressing sharp could feel so right?

July 23rd, 2025

I’ve been pulling away from my old friends. Their whole sarcastic, edgy vibe just doesn’t sit right with me anymore. Instead, I’ve been hanging out with people from church who share my interest in self-improvement and faith. I’m even thinking about joining a volunteer group at the church. Life feels more meaningful now. My mind still feels so clear too. I don't know what this pill is doing to me, but it's working.

I’ve been reflecting on some big ideas lately: responsibility, tradition, family values. They make so much sense now. I’ve also started watching a few commentators online who align with these views. Their logic is compelling. Honestly, I don’t know how I didn’t see it before. It’s like a veil has been lifted. Why should abortion be legal? Why should we violate the second amendment with gun control laws? Why do gays think thy can decide how the rest of us live our lives? So many questions I'm learning the answers to. I never paid much attention to politics, but maybe I should.

September 7th, 2025

Sunday service has become the cornerstone of my week. I’ve officially joined St. Mark’s and volunteered for their community outreach. Pastor Williams’s guidance has been invaluable. I’m entirely committed to this new path. My wardrobe, my habits, even my worldview have all transformed. I’m proud of the man I’ve become. I've said this a million times already, but it just feels right.

October 20th, 2025

Today is my birthday, and reflecting on this past year astounds me. My former self seems like a stranger. I’ve embraced faith, order, and purpose, and it just feels right. I got my hair cut to be a lot shorter than I once had it as a special birthday gift to myself. It feels more appropriate for my new image.

I had some friends from bible study over for a small party. I wore my best suit for the occasion. We played games, ate good food, and prayed of course. There was a riveting debate on the role of faith in politics. All in all, it was a good time. I can't believe how much my life has changed just in 10 months.

November 30th, 2025

Today was the final day of the trial. The scientist leading the study asked me all sorts of questions, from my conservative views to my faith in God and my new sense of style. I'm not sure what it all has to do with a mental focus pill, but I didn't feel like asking questions. I'm sure they know what they're doing. Anyways, I better get going. St. Mark's is having an event today to celebrate God and all of His glory. I wouldn't miss it for the world.

December 1st, 2025

when you returned from work in the late afternoon, you quickly set in motion your scheme. your tears shed, all that was left was a hollow woman dead set on vengeance. and while your friends are very supportive, you’re not sure they will be if they know the full truth of what you’re planning.

or, and so your reign of terror begins…

You close the group chat, lying dormant on your bed. You weren’t sure what to do now. There was an eerie sense of calm as you listened to the rumble of your air conditioner shutting off. Just this morning you had been in this exact position at your lowest moment. And now…well, you weren’t feeling great, but you sure as hell weren’t as bad as before!

But what could you do to feel great? It was far too late to go for a walk and be sensible, and your friends are surely caught up in another longwinded conversation. You stopped playing video games a few years ago just as you stopped watching reality TV a few years before that. It was cruel, really, how aware you were of your declining interest in things you once considered integral to your personality. Maybe that’s just how life is supposed to be as you grow old, or maybe you’re just depressed. Who knows.

Regardless, none of those things are on the table. You could start jotting down ideas for your song (but that’s wayyyy too productive for your liking) or doom-scroll through Twitter (but you’ll definitely find a few hate comments of you, at least). You just can’t win!

Especially with Twitter, since it seems like no matter what you do, it’s always wrong! You’re nearly at your breaking point where you just turn into a full on ragebait content creator. Knowing them, though, they’d probably see your grift in an instant and hate you even more. Seriously, what does it take for a girl to get some good publicity these days?

Maybe you just need to accept that any publicity is good publicity. After all, you still have your diehard fans (as few in numbers as they are) to fall back on and support you through thick and thin. As long as you understand and respect them, you can pretty much do whatever you want.

I will miss their egg sandwich that you recommended to me on our third date but it is better off I no longer go there. Work has been great, a bit busy, but good. I removed your picture from my desk at the beginning of the new year. I saw the way my co-workers would stare a bit too long at it, I guess seeing it reminded them how I never mentioned you anymore. Speaking of co-workers, a few emails ago I mentioned I was meeting up with one of them. We've been seeing each other a lot outside of work, I enjoy their company. I can never say this to them but when they kiss me and hug me I sometimes think it's you. That's wrong to admit especially since I think I'm developing feelings for them, but they will never see this. They are kind and treat me well which I know you would be pleased to hear. I packed up your clothes in my house and put them in a box. I couldn't keep looking at them. I cried so much that I don't think I can cry again for years to come. Bastian Bosse’s LiveJournal Activity (Part One)

On September 2nd, 2004, Bastian Bosse created his LiveJournal account. He posted to this account between September 2004 and August 2005, with his first entry being on September 2nd, 2004, and his last being on August 15th, 2005.

He posted his first entry on September 2nd, writing:

“So first, I have to try out how this works ...”

His entries during this time were about his airsoft guns and problems he was having at school, with him writing on September 8th:

“Well first of all, I got to class late, and they wrote me up. That’s especially good, when it happens on the first class with a new teacher! Well, it was only Religion ... the subject where they tell you such garbage that you like to go to class because it is so funny ... Our new topic: (for the third time) “Satanism / Occultism.” Oh man!

Then I rushed home after school and had to find out that my mom snooped around my stuff again a little ... Well, maybe they are just worried ...”

On March 7th 2005, he began posting again on his LiveJournal account, which he hadn’t posted to since September 15th, 2004. His post on this day mentioned being teased by his classmates, as he wrote:

“Other than that, really nothing spectacular happened during the week. I had to listen to the usual crap, like “Hey look! There is the Matrix-Man!” Looooooool, nitwits!”

On April 3rd, he wrote about ordering an MP5-SD6 airsoft machine gun online and not receiving the money on time:

“Then I ordered an MP5-SD6 AEG during break and told them that I would transfer the money on April 2nd . .. and what’s happening? The guy who is supposed to buy my old G36c is not coming, and now I don’t have the money .. . great!”

On May 15th, he wrote two entries, with one talking about his attitude to life:

“The longer I think about life, the more I realize how senseless it actually is ... Somebody is born, has a good life for 6 years, but then gets enrolled in school. Then unconsciously, he has to make a decision; do I stay the way I am or do I conform to the others? To be more precise, do I remain strong or do I become my own traitor?”

And the other mentioned a girl called Nadine:

“There is no progress with Nadine . . . I blame this sick HipHop Music that all the kids listen to . . . you have to go crazy and only talk shit. I HATE EVERYTHING!!! What’s up with all that shit??? Did I come to this damn world to be the idiot next door, my whole life? What should I do here? What are all of us supposed to do here?”

He wrote on May 16th:

“I am thinking about just dropping out of school next year, so I don’t have to see their faces anymore, so I don’t have to hear their voices anymore. No idea, if I should do that . . .”

He also responded to an online friend of his that commented:

“is it really that bad at your school? mhm, yeah, I was also glad when I was allowed to leave...”

“Indirectly. The fact that I am older than those in my class makes things significantly easier, in other words, it is not like it was in my old class, in which I was humiliated. But those people are all such complete morons; either over the top clowns or blowhard potheads, who consider themselves the greatest.”

His entries throughout May discussed his growing collection of airsoft guns. However in this period he also bought a Colt pistol, which he was able to test on May 18th:

"Then I was finally able to test my Colt, was a little lame, but nice ;) Other than that, nothing happened."

On May 23rd he wrote:

“Tomorrow is the 24th, Tuesday .. . and what will happen? NOTHING!!! I hate it, I hate to always be everybody’s dimwit. I hate to always be portrayed as a dork. I hate to always be the individual who seems unnecessary, but I hate it even more when people try to betray me . .. LH !!! Who do you think you are? What do you think you can get away with? Who gives you the right to breathe my air?”

“I am done with the world, I feel outcasted by it and hope for change. But how do we define such change? Or even more important: What am I doing here?”

His entries from this point forward would become a lot longer and discussed his thoughts on life, his guns, and his views on people at his school.

The black ink seeps into the paper slowly, spreading out across the white page like the lines of a spiderweb. The spider itself, a drop of built up ink that sits in the center of the small pool when you lift the pen, shakes slightly before slowly sinking and disappearing as well. You push the tip of the pen onto the paper again, just far enough for the stretching lines of spreading ink to overlap the web made last, before Jae-heon clears his throat and pulls your attention from the dark color.

“You’re not listening at all today.”

“I am.”

He frowns, his eyes looking over your face for a moment before he adjusts his glasses and clears his throat. “What were the last three terms I shared with you?” He asks, matter-of-factly.

The tick of the clock on the far wall of his living room fills the silence following the question, in a way answering him for you with its rhythmic monotonous sounds. 

Tick... Tick... Tick…

You bow your head with a soft sigh, setting down your pen. “I’m sorry.”

Another moment. Tick… Tick…

“We will cancel tonight’s session then.” Jae-heon straightens his already perfect posture as he stares back at you. “Instead, I’d like to know what’s wrong.”

“What?” The denial was already laced in your tone.

“You’re my best student, since I’ve met you. I’ve never seen you so distracted.”

You glance at your phone and you hope that he doesn’t notice. He doesn’t move as he waits, and you avoid his eyes, knowing the way that they are likely softening, slowly letting his worry take over. 

“These exams are the only way anyone will take me seriously.”

“You’ve already been accepted. These exams are the only way you’ll start taking yourself seriously.” Jae-heon corrects you simply, his voice even and detached from the softening look in his eyes. His lips press into a line for a moment before he goes on, “You’re being too harsh on yourself,” There it was, the feeling in his eyes leaking into his words. “You have been for the last year and a half.”

You sigh again, the sound enough to admit defeat to his analysis. There was no winning, and therefore no sense in arguing, not when you both knew he was right. You avert your eyes again, not wanting him to be able to read you for any new issues.

“Have you been going out? Eating well?”

You avoid the urge to look up then, in surprise, as your eyebrows pull together slightly. Were you too late in trying to hide?

“Sleeping?”

Yes. He’d already read you. Like a book. 

You reach up, over your shoulder to rub it slightly, trying to ignore the dull ache radiating from the center of your shoulder blades. How long had the anxiety been sitting there? A week, maybe more? You’d been blaming the lack of sleep on the exams, ignoring the root of the problem buried deep in your bones as well as the medication bottle sitting behind the mirror of your bathroom. Usually, or at least you told yourself this, you were good at pushing through the discomfort of your fears and the sleepless nights that accompanied. 

He would worry too much if he knew how bad it had been lately. If he knew how little you came out of your home, instead locking yourself away in your apartment and letting the roots grow beyond your bones and through to the mattress in your room. So you tried your best to keep him from noticing. 

“We’re done.” Jae-heon stands suddenly, pushing up off the floor and running his hands over his shirt to smooth the fabric before looking down at you expectantly.

“What? No-”

“Yes. Go downstairs, get something to eat, and rest. Take care of yourself, the exams can wait.”

“No, that’s not the problem-”

“Then what is?”

You pause, there is no more facade of not caring on his face. His eyes stare into yours, and you wonder if he can see in them what you had seen earlier.

“If you’re not going to let me help you,” Jae-heon moves to close the book on the table, and you wonder if this means he will offer you more scripture. He’d done it before, during times where you spoke vaguely about the things you were going through and the problems you were experiencing. It wasn’t that you couldn’t come to him with your problems, you knew that. He was like a brother to you and cared just as much as if he was, but this issue wasn’t yours to ask his help for. 

“Tell me what this means. I’ll leave and I’ll rest but-” You scramble for your phone now, and Jae-heon is surprised by the request. That a translation could have had you so distracted. “I wrote it as quickly as I could, I’m sure I saw it right.” You unlock your phone, swiping to find where you had typed it, and hesitating for a moment as you stare down at the word written in your notes. You already knew it, but you hoped to hear another answer. 

“Is everything okay?” Jae-heon reaches up as if to set his hand on your shoulder before you turn the screen to his view and he stops altogether, his hand dropping to his side again as his eyes scan back and forth over the characters.

‘자살’

“Is there another meaning for this?”

“Why?” What would make you ask me that-” His hands do go to your shoulders then, his face completely changed now. The calm demeanor he so often held is gone, his face contorted into an expression of worry, almost fear as he looks at you, his eyes searching yours again. 

Can you see it? You wonder. Can you see it like I did?

Once a stranger, now worried and protective at the sight of a single word. It was comforting in a way, this friendship you’d built over the last year and a half. But it stirred something else in you too, it feels as if the roots inside of you shake against your bones and pull you harder against the ground beneath your feet as you stand in front of him. 

“It’s not-” You shake your head, pulling away slightly, “It’s nothing about me, I’m fine.” You assure him but when he reaches for you again, you step closer and meet his eyes on purpose. “I’m okay, I’m fine.” You say softly, assuring him until he talks a slow breath. “I saw it today and I- I wanted to ask if it has another meaning.” 

The look on his face and the grip he has on your shoulders serve as answer enough. This reaction, and the one from the boy in the lobby, you could connect the dots yourself that the answer was no. 

It makes your heart sink, it makes the feeling in your chest swell, roots tightening until ribs ache.  You think of the stranger again, the dark hollow look -- the ink you’d been staring at during what was meant to have been a lesson.

You’d already been so out of it when you’d walked into the lobby, a spelling mistake on a registration form had resulted in a scolding session at the university, the secretary having yelled until you ran from the office. You had barely even noticed the man standing at the main office window to realize he was stepping backwards before you had crashed into him, finally snapping out of our daze. His phone hit the floor with a loud clatter and apologies tumbled from your lips quickly, only for you to fall silent again as the security guard scoffs, “Idiot.” 

You and the stranger had both stared blankly at him for a moment before someone else called the guard’s attention, yelling something about a bed before you looked down again, quickly reaching for the phone on the floor. “I’m sorry I really-”

The screen lit up for only a moment before he had taken it from your hands with a small bow of his head. “It’s okay,” the boy held the phone in both hands, as if wringing out a towel. He ducks his head down again, “It’s really okay.”

When he had looked up again, and his eyes met yours, it almost made your blood run colder than the banner on his phone screen with a reminder for August 25th. The mess of dark brown hair on his head almost hid them from view entirely, but you could see in his eyes that he was tired. Like he hadn’t slept in too long. Hadn’t really rested in longer. A look that probably mirrored your own quite closely. But there was something else there too, eerily familiar and so dark. So dark and hollow that your chest had ached, and your mind had gotten fixed on the titled date you had seen on his phone.

I’ve seen people debate on how long the TBHK story has been happening, and when certain events should’ve happened, so I’ve decided to make my own (unofficial) TBHK timeline!!!

This is gonna be a timeline of the main story, so things that happened before Nene entered the picture wont be included (for now at least!) Let me know if I made any mistakes or if there’s any additional information that I didn’t include in this post, I simply re-read the whole manga for maybe like the 15th time?? and tried to gather any and all hints from dialogue and backgrounds/calendars.

I don’t have an exact date to when the main story began, but it must’ve been late spring or so, due to the warm weather. Nene talked about how she picked up “feminine” hobbies such as gardening, sewing and cooking after the guy she started liking in middle school said he’s into feminine girls. She seemingly confessed to him right after starting her 1st year in high school as she said it took her 3 years to master these newfound hobbies and confess her love. Nene stated that it’d happened a month ago so it’s probably May. typically in Japan the new school year starts around April 5th, and as Nene confessed right at the beginning of the new year she met Hanako around ~May 5th if it was exactly one month ago when she got rejected.

In their next appearance, Nene said it had been a week since the two met. So it should be around ~May 12th if I’m correct.

Within the next month, Nene gets to Meet characters like Kou, Tsuchigomori, Yako and the broadcasting club, and also gets to see Hanakos more vulnerable side for the first time!

It should be early June by now, the fact that we see Sousuke taking pictures of Morning glories, which bloom between early Summer and Fall, solidifies this for me.

After chapters 18-20, it gets a little blurry though. No specific dates are really mentioned, and Nene stops commenting on how longs it’s been since she met Hanako, so the best I can do is make hardcore guesses in between the next time we get a confirmed date, July 7th when Hanako took Nene and Kou to the Tanabata Star festival.

Between these chapters, we got a proper introduction to the broadcasting club, got to meet the clock keepers + learn about Nenes lifespan, and witness Mitsuba take on the role of a school mystery number 3.

Nene mentioned it’d been three days since she encountered Mitsuba in the hell of mirrors, and invited Kou to the summer festival the next day. Hanako decided to take them to the Tanabata star festival instead, (Insert image I couldn’t fit in) July 7th which I’m assuming would’ve been the very next day, in which case the Hell of mirrors arc took place at around July 2nd. That’d still leave a whole month between For the clock keepers and tea party arc, (insert ANOTHER image I couldn’t fit in) so I can’t exactly pin down any specific dates or even weeks..

It gets even messier after picture perfect! Mitsuba’s welcoming party likely happened around a week after being taken in by the broadcasting club, so it’s early to mid July at this point.

Interestingly enough, it seemed time moved slower in the painting Nene and Kou were stuck in, as all of a sudden Finals came up! From what I’ve understood, finals usually come at the middle or end of July, lasting 3 days.

I’m gonna be going off the average Japanese schools standards when it comes to dates, since we don’t know much about Kamone academy. So if we’re going off by the average estimate, The school sleepover should’ve happened at the beginning of August.

Being just around Obon.

Weirdly enough, despite Nene and Hanako spending a night with Sumire, by the time the severance happened barely any time had passed in the real world. (Insert another damn imagine I wasn’t able to squeeze in.)

Teru takes Nene and Akane on a little outing after summer vacation properly began, calling it his first real day off in a while. So this could’ve been very well been a day or two right after the severance.

The day after, Nene and Kou meet Sousukes mother, who’s visiting her sons grave for Obon, which should’ve been celebrated between August 13-16th, as the main story for TBHK is set in 2015.

I’m guessing the entirety of the severance/rescue arc happens during Obon, as it’d make sense why Aoi was able to be saved despite having “died” according to Hanako, and why the supernaturals were able to return to the near shore so quickly, as the near and far shores were so blurred.

The second trimester begins at the start of September, so there were still about 2 weeks in between the Fireworks party-Night life chapters before school started again!

This is the present, with the preparations for the festival beginning immediately and the event lasting 2 days, we should be in the first week of September at the moment, both in the old and new timeline.

So some key points are;

• It’s been ~5 Months since Nene met Hanako.

• Nene has MAX 7 Months left to live, probably closer to 1-4.

• Mitsuba is ~3 months old!

• maybe we get to see everyone in winter uniforms!! that’d be cute. Not really important I just thought that sounded fun.

Aaannd that’s a wrap for now. I don’t plan on updating the timeline unless new information about dates comes up or if there’s any inconsistencies that I made, but thank you for reading my first Tumblr post!!! Let's see…May 12th plus 6 months is…

…Fuck.

Okay, so, we have a bit of a timeline issue, everyone. As we all know, Tangled takes place on Rapunzel's birthday, and everyone is in agreement that that's May 12th. And, as an aside, Varian's birthday is agreed to be March 24th. That's all well and good, but then we have a six-month time-jump from the Tangled movie to Rapunzel's coronation. Counting up, that's June, July, August, September, October, November. Six months.

Then a week later we have Rapunzel meeting Varian and let's say the Goodwill Festival is, what, a week or two after that? Maybe a full month? Which would put it around the same time as Yuletide. December.

So, stay with me here, our first time seeing the Goodwill Festival is episode 2 of season 1, "Rapunzel's Enemy". Then we go through the series with time passing until we reach "Queen for a Day", which is stated to be around harvest season.

Now, typically, harvest season is in the fall, so that's around September or October. But, we have a problem here.

Rapunzel's 19th birthday in May, and Varian's 15th in March, actually takes place somewhere between the coronation and "Queen for a Day"! I'd place, based on the episodes, Rapunzel's 19th birthday to actually be around "Pascal's Story" and Varian's to be around "Under Raps". That seems like a good placement for the timeline.

According to the story, Rapunzel's 19th birthday is taking place during "Secret of the Sundrop", but according to that six-month time-jump, that's impossible! But, let's take a look at the timeline if we remove the time-jump and replace it with two months instead of six.

Rapunzel's birthday is in May, so let's do one month for the "Contest of the Crowns" and the next month is her coronation. We are now in July. We meet Varian a week after, so we're still in July. A week or two after that, depending on the date of her coronation, we are either in July or August.

We are still dangerously close to October here, so let's make things happen a lot faster. Instead of some of these earlier episodes being months apart, they are now days and weeks apart. A bit rushed, but we have a pretty strict time-frame here and we can't have any big gaps because we need to be at "Queen for a Day" by October, harvest season. Then we can kind of relax a bit because the time between October and May is…November, December, January, February, March, April, May. Seven months. Varian turned 15 in March and Rapunzel turns 19 in May.

Quite frankly the production order makes it so less episodes happen in the time before "Queen for a Day" and more happen after, so that actually fits with that timeline if you move the episodes around to match the production order.

But, that only happens if we remove the six-month time-jump, but since it's canonly there, we can't just ignore it. So, canonly, we skipped Rapunzel's 19th birthday and Varian's 15th and Varian is 16 at the end of season 1 and Rapunzel is actually 20.

In other words, the timeline is messed up no matter which version you go with, but at least removing the time-jump makes it happen in the same year. Now I'm going to pull up the production order and give it a watch to see how that works for the timeline.

I was discussing with @misskattylashes about what our big ideas about what people in the AM-verse seem to be teasing about or whatever. Then I got a Brianstorm of Big Ideas admist it...

First things first. Some relevant history; Arctic Monkeys first formed in 2002. They’re first live gig was 13th June 2003 at The Grapes, an Irish pub in Sheffield, UK (where AM are iconally from and formed). In 2004, some other icon stuff happened:

As i’m penning this it’s currently the year is 2024, next year is 2025, and the year after that is 2026. Currently, AM have been a band for 22 years. They started playing at giggs live 21 years ago. They began performing their original songs practically 20 years ago. I BET YOU LOOK GOOD ON THE DANCEFLOOR is gonna be 20 years old 17th October 2024. So this ongoing train of thought starting thus metaphorical ball running in my mind:

What if the AM are working on an AM 20th anniversary thing? To celebrate 20 years of still being a band and to celebrate two decades worth of fans, and remarkable once in AM-verse lifetime memories, and everything fabulous that came about because of AM forming 22 years ago? Maybe that’s the mysterious thing that they have been planning at?

If it is an AM anniversary thingy here’s a list of theories of what it could be if that ever is in the cards for our beloved Arctic Monkeys:

> An AM greatest hits album. With B-sides from TBHC & The Car. Sorta similar to AM Live at Royal Albert Hall album that dropped in 2020. Cause sure if it was a new album it would likely be reported already. Also during The Car Tour Alex would have wacky beautiful moments playing random stuff on the piano and making Alex sounds sometimes before playing: Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?

> An AM documentary. - AM photographer: Zachary Michael I think it is, has been seen tagging Alex Turner around in a number of Alex Turner recents post the finale of The Car Tour. What if that’s to get shots for the AM documentary?

> An AM book / photo album. Think Alexa Chung’s IT, but if it were AM recounting their career with lots of snapshots and stills of them over their career being fabulous? Also, I can so imagine physical photo album books are still Alex Turner’s thing. I say still because Alex Turner was born in 1986, so he probably grew up with the likes of physical photo albums years before digital camera roles came into place.

> Also for either of my documentary or photo album thing; what if the AM recents with Nick, Jamie, Alex etc have been teases to them visiting iconic AM hotspots / venues etc that AM became and are famous for and that they’ve lots of gratitude towards those locations for giving them that boost in their career/ E.g. Mojave Desert & New York City & Los Angeles where AM recorded Humbug / Yellow Arch Studios in Sheffield UK where AM recorded some of their first ever songs at. / Vox Studios LA, La Frette Paris France where AM recorded Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino / The Grapes & Leadmill where they played they’re first ever gigs? -Jamie was spotted attending a concert in Yellow Arch Studios the other week for a Sheffield originating band.

> Strings added to AM songs. Think Glastonbury 2013 where’d AM had a whole orchestra add strings to Cornerstone and Mardy Bum. Exactly. Also, think back to the last four The Car Tour gigs. AM played in Ireland all 4 days with James Ford and an orchestra doing strings on a few songs. What if those four last gigs were the foreshadowing / prelude of Alex’s and AM’s big ideas of what's to come?

Also, Alex isn't seen much public-wise these days at all. If he’s working on an Anniversary thingy it would make so much perfect sense for his ‘hibernation’ / disappearance. Whatever you wanna call it. What if he’s just hardcore hyper focused on getting that right if that is what him and the band are working on?

Another wild thought I have: What if AM bring back songs in the Anniversary thing from Beneath The Boardwalk etc like songs that we’ve never heard the light of day of yet??!!

Y'know what's funny? All last year peeps kept liking my 'Didn't Wanna Feel Old' journal from 2023. One commenter said I should make a new one for 2024. Jee, ya' don't say? Guess you missed how that was already a thing. Was nobody interested in seeing what all reached a major milestone back in 2024? Ghostbusters, Ninja Turtles, Transformers, they all celebrated their 40th Anniversary, Lion King had its 30th, a lot of cool stuff got that much older. Shame nobody seemed to notice. Some Key Dates/Locations [for everyone's convenience]

Aces play Mystics in DC tomorrow - I could see P wanting to go to this one.

Seattle: Storm a six game home stretch from July 1 to 14 so probably when Paige will show up. Azzi tends to go to Vancouver at the end of one month/beginning of next month I've noticed. She went late April/Early May and then again Early June. So I'm guessing she has monthly appointments.

LA: ESPYs are July 11th. The panel is July 12th. I imagine lots of NIL stuff during this time and training.

Montana visit the week after ESPYs or maybe after Phoenix: All Stars which is July 19-20th.

DMV visit: Azzi's Camp in DMV is July 27 and 28.

Atlanta hosts Overtime Select event that starts August 3-7. Paige mentioned Overtime Select during that Jada Live.

The unknown date is SC30 Select Camp - Steph has Olympics warm ups and the games that will keep him busy July 10 - August 10 (probably right after July 4 to get training in) so I don't know if/when that will happen but I don't see it happening in July and instead in August when he gets back. I imagine Azzi will have another trip to Vancouver before heading to Minnesota.

Minnesota State Fair: Aug 22 – Sep 2. I imagine camping at Azzi's grandparents cabin will be beforehand and then probably end with the Fair before transitioning back to UConn. I could also see them going to the August 15th Lynx vs Mystics game in Minnesota before heading north to the campground and then coming back for the fair before flying out.

UConn move in August 22-25. Fall Semester starts on August 26.

Full Schedule for the season is in September.

Media Day (Both UConn and Big East) and First Night is October.
