maybe miles but like more as a joke because like emily adores photography, she used to do a lot of it when she was a teenager for school because her dad was really interested in vintage cameras (see also: her box brownie collection she considered selling) and so thats a nice part of im to hold onto for her. he gave her a polaroid camera which she broke in one of her first big mental break downs. then some years later, a boyfriend at the time bought her a new one which she used a lot for a while. then they broke up and she hasn’t really touched photography since. anyway basically i think miles would probably know most of this (all her polaroids are probably still packed up in a box) so he’d pick up her camra sometimes like “photograph me like one of ur french women~” and shed be like omg stop ur being a silly goose ily.

so ive been lowkey on and off using this tumblr as a journal since i made it about a year ago. i think as a person i need to journal just to get things out of my head bc im really bad at bottling things up but i honestly forget to actually write feelings down (or post here, whatever) and then ill just get back into the habit of not getting my feelings out. idk i kinda like spewing shit into the void on here, but sometimes i think i need to just keep things to myself. like in an actual journal. and ive had journals off and on since like freshman year of high school and i usually stop writing in them around a third of the way through the book (IF that) and..... idk i read a blog post (like a real blog lol not a tumblr blog) about why journaling is so beneficial and why everyone should at least try it and it really made me want to start writing again. i have a really shitty way with words but, again, its so nice to just get feelings out of your system ya know? like i know no one cares on here (part of the reason i consider this more of a journal than an actual tumblr) but theres just something about actually writing things down that feels better. idk. i have no idea if this makes any sense bc im sitting at starbucks and i keep getting distracted by passing conversations and people walking their dogs so my train of thought isnt really that clear and i dont even remember what the point of this was supposed to be..... i guess there is no real point. i just might start journaling in an actual notebook again and i just wanted to let the world know.

side note (well not really a side note, more of a subject change): i move out of my dorm on friday/saturday!!!! im excited to get the fuck out of there. the dorm specifically. i love my school and cant wait to be back in august. i just really want to be in a real apartment and maybe make some new friends next semester. i think im gonna actually go to like campus events and shit and maybe maaayyyybeeee see if there are any clubs or organizations that i can join. something that wont take up too much time (and DEFINITELY not any money) but can give me a place to chill out with some cool peeps and maybe make friends with them. i dont really feel passionately enough about anything to join a club about it though. except for dogs. maybe ill find some cool people that have dogs that i can get to know and when i get a dog i can socialize him/her with them. WHO KNOWS. im excited though. i think the fact that ill have a job over the summer and i have a guaranteed job for when i get back takes off quite a bit of stress because money wont be as big of an issue, ya know? like obvioulsy ill still be tight on money, like it wont be ideal for me for the rest of my life, but its more than plenty for me and a dog to live off of fairly comfortably. as long as i dont waste it on eating out all the DAMN time. thats my biggest issue. like i dont waste money on materialistic things (like 97% of the time i dont at least) but i will BLOW THROUGH A DAMN PAYCHECK AT CHICKFILA. LIKE ITS NOTHING. which is not okay. i think over the summer im gonna try to keep it at once a week. i think thats reasonable. might still be too often though. but like i dont wanna say once a month thats not realistic for me as a person. maybe once per pay period. idk though bc most my money comes from the tips i get, not my paycheck. I think ill keep it at once a week for now and if i get too crazy with it ill cut back. i just really want to have enough money for a dog by december/january (winter break basically). because i want if i dont have the money by then im just gonna wait until the summer to do it. i want to have time to spend with the dog for the first week or two that i have him so that we can get used to each other and so that i can work on crate training before i actually have to implement it for real (like for classes and shit). but i guess ill have to actually implement it because ill still be working over the break....... idk. ill definitely get him after i go home for the holidays, because im really not trying to deal with my parents scolding me for getting a dog lol. and i also wouldnt really have the place for him to stay bc BOTH my mom and dad have made it clear that they dont want extra dogs in their houses. my mom knows im getting one and she thinks im being really smart about it. i feel like if i told my dad and step mom about it they would immediately shut the idea down without listening to my plan though. specifically my part of the plan where i WONT GET A DOG IF I DONT THINK I WILL HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO CARE FOR HIM. like i promise, i will not do this on impulse (even though i do have a habit of acting on impulse with a lot of other things hahaha). when it comes time to actually get the dog i will have been planning this stuff out for over a year. so yeah. fuk off parents. (not really, i luv them). but yeah things are getting exciting over in ariahs world! hopefully things actually work out. and if not i’ll live lol. 

maybe my last post like this? maybe not? idk i already dont post like this that often anyway so it might just stay the same. every once in a while ill give a big ol’ update on whats going on in my life. even though im pretty sure im the only one who reads it lol i like to go back and read all of my “entries” since i started this blog. who doesnt like to read old journal entries though, its fun to see whats changed!

anyway, i think im gonna go on a drive to target (the closest one im pretty sure is in hixon, which is like 20 minutes away from UTC) (idk though chattanooga is pretty big maybe theres a sneaky target around here that i havent found yet) (who knows dude) (bye)
