IS Dano Riddler an incel? Maybe. It's complicated. I say NO because to be an incel you have to know what an incel is, be SOMEWHAT involved in those online communities or at the very least /identify/ with the label of incel, and actively take steps to worsen your life by indulging in misogynistic and otherwise bigoted content. Edward doesn't do that at all.

Do we KNOW if he's a virgin? No, we just kind of assumed because he's shown to be very off-putting to others at times and very shy. But like. I think Riddler thinks Very Little of sex and more so thinks of the concept of human connection. It's very much up for debate whether or not Dano Riddler is autistic, I tend to lean towards it, and as an autistic person myself I sort of project a bit onto him in this regard lmao BUT I PROMISE it tracks. I think sex is *part* of good bonds with your partner, but in general it means very little to me and if I *had* to go my entire life without it, I probably would if it meant my life was more Simple. I feel like, given he never gets given a random love interest in any of the other media he's been in (Before the Batman and TRYO), it seems like something that's just - so inconsequential to him given all of his other issues and problems that he chooses not to even think about it, whereas incels think about sex CONSTANTLY. I've had an interest in history, specifically World War II basically since I was a kid. It was only recently though that I found out that there's a community for it! I've always had a thing with expressing my interests in ways that may seem slightly odd to other people, so it feels nice to see that there are others who seem to experience this in similar ways :3

I want to make it very clear that I am NOT a nazi or rightwing in any way, and I don't want actual (neo-)nazis to interact with my blog, seriously get the fuck out. Also if I happen to catch nazis interacting with me I will report them. Similarly, I don't want racists, lgbtq-phobes, ableists, religious extremists, pedos & zoos or people of similarly disgusting kind to interact. I've been a fan of the Downfall parodies on youtube when I was younger and recently relapsed into this fixation😭 I don't know if this fandom even really exists at this point since it seems that many creators have left in the meantime, but I'd love to talk about it, maybe I'll even get to write fanfics at some point. Also a short disclaimer that when I talk about historical figures that play a major role in the Downfall parody universe (such as Fegelein, Krebs, Burgdorf etc), it will usually be about their parody selves, not the real people! I'll try to clarify that individually if needed though.

I've also started lurking a little in the reichblr tag with a feeling that I'd describe as "indimidated fascination". Currently I'm mostly interested in some members of the Wehrmacht, but other historical figures that I had or have an interest in might come up as well. Overall any stuff that I post will probably go more into the lighthearted and humorous direction, but I'd love to bring in some more educational stuff as well.

I get crushes on fictional characters and sometimes historical figures too, but that doesn't mean I support, condone or defend their worldviews or actions in any way (this applies especially to real people of course)! These "crushes" usually stem from a place of fascination with who they were behind their public appearance, I want to know more about them as a private person, like their hobbies, favourite food and other mundane things like that. Often it's also simply that I feel physically attracted to their appearance because I think they're handsome, either that or they give me massive gender envy (or both lmao). i fucking love this question, but there's no easy answer to it. i guess i'm gonna have to try tho, because sometimes i feel like maybe some of you don't really understand WHY i totally changed my entire blog when clancy came out (it's kinda like me loving this band was my biggest secret for such a long time, idk. i still remember how a few months before it i've mentioned something and anix literally yelled at me like "WHY THE FUCK YOU NEVER TOLD ME YOU LIKE TWENTY ONE PILOTS" lmao. anyway).

first of all, no one has ever made me feel so seen and understood. there's real magic in tyler joseph's lyrics, you might hate me for what i'm about to say right now, but speaking of tortured poets - for me it's not taylor, it's tyler. and the scariest part of it all is that i very often relate to his lyrics. but that's also beautiful - it's therapeutic in a way. so when clancy came out and i realized i relate to pretty much EVERY song on this record, i just thought to myself, oh lord, how did i survive this long without their music. it's always been them for me. i will never abandon them again, i swear.

second thing, the lore. you all know i'm a slut for stories told through music (*cough* musical theatre *cough*). also, if the plot of the story is complex and weird as fuck, there's a pretty big chance it will become my favourite thing in the world. the entire lore is an insane metaphor for mental health struggles so, obviously, i can find a part of myself in it. i would die for their lore, honestly. it's all i can think about. and clancy will always be my fucking blorbo.

another thing i love a lot about them, and it's something you don't really see if you don't watch their interviews or live performances, they are literally just two dudes. both josh and tyler have always been very anxious and awkward and weird and that's what makes them more human in my opinion - just two fucking idiots who are best friends, lmao. they are so relatable in every possible way. they are also the funniest dudes in the entire world. and their friendship is so fucking beautiful. the only difference between us and them, truly, is that they are extremely talented and they have their own band.

also, they care about the clique so fucking much, this was probably mentioned on my blog before (maybe even today in a previous ask). they don't care about the charts, about awards, about anything really, all they care about is their music and fans. they don't do it to be the best band in the world. they do it to save lives - our lives as much as their own (if it wasn't for this music i don't know how i would have fought this). and that's what makes them different and honestly, better than the other artists.

they are also pretty much unproblematic. i wasn't really sure if i should mention that, but i feel like i need to. tyler joseph made one stupid mistake a few years ago - the way people reacted to this still breaks my fucking heart. he realized he was wrong tho, he apologized. the other day i saw a post here on tumblr about how he's fucking problematic and racist and the worst man on the planet etc etc. can we... fucking stop, please. it was just a stupid joke and he knows it was dumb and unnecessary. most people wouldn't even apologize, but he did. end of story. i will defend him with my life (not saying he is perfect, but shit, if you want to cancel him for one mistake maybe you should look at yourself first).

I just hate hate hate when there’s some real good angst but the all the potential is just dashed because smut!

Maybe it’s because I’m on the ace spectrum, but I dunno. I hate when conflict is resolved just like that or when reader is written without a personality and just constantly horny, makes me really uncomfortable when all a character wants to do is sleep with another character.

Or when reader is written in a way that they’re clearly pushing boundaries of others and that’s seen as totally normal, for example: the trope of pushing Simon to reveal his face and writing him as an asshole because he doesn’t want to. Makes me feel icky.

Or let’s say character A gets with character B, even though A knows that B doesn’t want a family but keeps pushing for it regardless and then B is seen as an asshole because they don’t want that.

I just HATE characters disrespecting boundaries and the other person being seen as an asshole for it

Also, König. I have such a deep hatred for that man it’s UNREAL. Most of the reason is because he replaces Gaz often and it rubs me the wrong way completely. I have a tendency of hating a really popular character when they’re mostly loved because they have an attractive trait but not much else (he’s barely that fleshed out in CoD. Let’s be honest, I feel like he’s mostly liked for his height lmao)

And like just in general, König makes me really uncomfortable and I can’t find it in me to like him in the slightest for whatever reason

Let me just vent about some shit about this game.

In my personal opinion, too many unnecessary changes were made. First, Raiden being younger just doesn’t really make any sense at all. Throughout all the games, not once was he ever younger. He’s been old throughout every game. Maybe I could be wrong but anyways.

Second, SUPPOSEDLY RAIN IS RELATED TO KITANA AND MILEENA NOW??/?).$$ HUUHH? Okay now I’m completely in shock. From what I’ve read and seen to try and pinpoint things, Rain was once engaged to Kitana (back in one of the animated movies I think). And Rain has Just constantly tried to overthrow Mileena off the throne lmao and was also introduced to Mileena by Tanya.

Third, Mileena’s tarkatan disease. Oh my fucking god are you serious? Back in the past games, Mileena was a clone from Shang Tsung’s imagination from Kitana’s blood and genes. Now it’s a disease? Huh. While it’s kinda heartwarming to see Mileena and Kitana working as sisters now, the sudden change in the origin Mileena’s abnormal teeth is just confusing and basically tossing away past lore.

Need I say more about Scorpion and Sub-Zero? Bi-Han, I wasn’t worried about because he was already in the past MK1 beforehand. But Scorpion who is Ed Boon’s favorite??? Make him Kuai? Jesus. But I mean, it was better than having Hanzo and Bi-Han blood related because then that would’ve been racist to Asians. But even still, seeing Kuai with fire abilities is awkward given he had ice throughout his whole life. “Cryomancy is my birthright.” Said Kuai back in MK11. 😭💔 Scorpion had the biggest changes which threw curveballs into every bit of MK lore.

Even if they add long wanted characters, it’s not gonna make a difference in the story’s writing. Which is most likely gonna be ass due to the changes. It might as well have just been called MK12 instead of MK1. The reboot doesn’t make sense, AT ALL.

Anyways I apologize for this unnecessary vent and rant. As a long time MK fan, it just ticks me off about the dumb ass changes. 😭
