The cool breeze cut through the streets, but you barely felt it—your mind too occupied with the thoughts swirling around you. It had been a quiet kind of afternoon, the kind that you could lose yourself in, if only you weren’t so aware of every little thing happening around you.
You were meeting up with Gojo, Geto, and Shoko, as usual. At least, that was what you told yourself when you agreed to tag along. But this wasn’t just any other meetup. Gojo had insisted—practically begged—that everyone finally meet someone important to him.
“It’ll be great!” his voice echoed in your head, far too enthusiastic. “I want you guys to meet Mina properly. She’s really excited to get to know you all, too!”
And so, here you were now. Standing at the corner of a familiar street, waiting at the meetup spot, hands tucked into the pockets of your jacket as the cool breeze nipped at your skin. The streets were quieter than usual, the kind of calm that made you feel more aware of the thoughts swirling in your mind.
Your mind inevitably wandered, drifting to the idea of finally meeting Mina up close. You’d seen her before, of course, but only from a distance. The cheerleading team had always been easy to spot at school events, and you’d watch her from the sidelines, noticing the way she effortlessly blended into the crowd, always smiling, always surrounded by laughter.
There was something almost magnetic about her—something perfect. The way she carried herself, the way her laughter seemed to light up a room. Even from afar, you couldn’t deny that she was stunning. It was hard to pinpoint exactly what it was, but it was obvious. She was the kind of pretty that made heads turn, the kind of perfect that seemed like it belonged next to someone like Gojo. The way they spoke about her, the way he looked at her, it all seemed like the pieces of a picture that fit together so effortlessly.
You tried to push the thoughts away, but they lingered in the back of your mind. Would she really be as perfect in person as she was from a distance? Would she live up to the image you had built in your head without even realizing it?
The sound of footsteps pulling you back to reality made you glance up, only to see Gojo, Geto, Shoko—and Mina, standing with them. She was everything you imagined and more. Pretty, confident, and with a kind of presence that seemed to match Gojo’s energy effortlessly. Your stomach twisted.
As your gaze met Mina’s, you felt a fleeting, sharp pang in your chest. She was even more striking up close—her warm eyes and inviting smile only confirmed what you’d observed from afar. Everything about her seemed effortless, like she belonged with Gojo, almost like she was made for him.
Her eyes caught yours, and there was a brief moment where everything felt suspended—until she broke the silence with a bright, friendly smile. “Hey, it’s so nice to finally meet you!” she said, her voice cheerful, full of sincerity.
You hesitated for just a second, but it was enough for your heart to betray you, tightening in your chest as you forced a smile onto your face. “Yeah, you too,” you replied, hoping your tone didn’t sound as strained as it felt.
Mina’s smile didn’t waver, and for that, you were grateful. “Satoru’s told me so much about you all,” she said, her voice light and warm. “It feels like I already know you guys.”
“Oh, has he now?” Geto chimed in, his voice teasing as he shot a glance at Gojo. “I’m almost scared to ask what he said about us.”
“Don’t worry,” Mina laughed, the sound soft and genuine. “It was all good things... mostly.”
Shoko snorted, crossing her arms. “Knowing Satoru, I wouldn’t be surprised if he exaggerated every story.”
“Exaggerate? Me?” Gojo put a hand to his chest, feigning offense. “I would never!” He turned to Mina with a grin. “Don’t listen to them. I’m the most honest guy you’ll ever meet.”
“Right,” you muttered under your breath, earning a chuckle from Geto beside you.
Mina glanced your way, her smile growing as if she had caught your comment. “You must be the sarcastic one,” she said lightly, her tone playful. “Satoru mentioned that.”
The words caught you off guard, and for a moment, you weren’t sure how to respond. “Did he?” you managed, keeping your tone neutral, though inside you felt a flicker of something—was it warmth? Embarrassment? Jealousy? You couldn’t tell.
“He said you’re his closest friend,” Mina continued, her sincerity disarming. “That you’ve always been there for him.”
Your throat tightened at that. “Yeah, well,” you said, shrugging as casually as you could manage. “Someone’s gotta keep him in line.”
Mina laughed again, and it was such a soft, genuine sound that you hated how much you wanted to dislike her. But you couldn’t. She was kind, effortlessly charming, and genuinely seemed to care about making a good impression.
“Alright, alright,” Gojo interrupted, throwing an arm around Mina’s shoulder and grinning at all of you. “Let’s get going before Suguru starts roasting me, or Ieiri finds a way to embarrass me.”
“I don’t have to find ways,” Shoko deadpanned, smirking.
As the group started moving, you walked alongside them, listening to their chatter but feeling a little outside of it all. Mina was a natural fit, seamlessly blending into the dynamic like she’d always been a part of it. Watching her laugh with Geto and Shoko, seeing how easily Gojo leaned into her space, it all felt too... right.
You tried to shake off the nagging feeling, reminding yourself that this was what Gojo wanted—to have his friends meet someone important to him. And Mina, in every way, lived up to the role.
Still, as you glanced at them—Gojo’s arm draped over her shoulder, Mina looking up at him with that easy, perfect smile—you couldn’t help but wonder if you’d ever stop feeling like you were standing on the outside looking in.
The small café came into view, its warm glow spilling out onto the sidewalk. It was cozy, tucked away from the bustling streets, and one of those places that always smelled like fresh coffee and baked goods. Gojo pushed the door open dramatically, holding it for everyone with a grin that was, as always, a little too much.
“After you, my queen,” he said to Mina, bowing exaggeratedly as she stepped inside, laughing softly.
You trailed in last, your hands stuffed into your pockets as you followed the group to a corner booth. The seating arrangement seemed to happen naturally—Gojo slid in first, pulling Mina down beside him, while Shoko casually took the seat across from them. You hesitated a second too long, and Geto nudged your shoulder, gesturing for you to sit beside him.
So you did. Sliding into the seat, you felt Geto glance at you briefly. It wasn’t much, just a quick flicker of his dark eyes, but it carried a weight you couldn’t quite decipher. He didn’t say anything, though, and neither did you.
The chatter resumed easily enough. Gojo was in full swing, dominating the conversation with some ridiculous story about their last mission. Mina listened intently, her laughter ringing out at all the right moments. Even Shoko seemed mildly amused, her smirk betraying her usual cool detachment.
You wanted to focus on the conversation, to lose yourself in the familiar rhythm of your friends’ banter, but your thoughts kept drifting. Mina fit in so well, like she’d always been part of the group. The ease with which she spoke to Geto, how she didn’t hesitate to tease Shoko lightly—it was effortless.
And yet, it made you feel... out of place. Like you were watching it all unfold from behind some invisible barrier.
“You okay?” Geto’s voice was low, quiet enough that it didn’t interrupt the others. His gaze was steady, unreadable.
You blinked, caught off guard by the question. “Yeah, why?”
“You’ve been quiet,” he said simply, leaning back in his seat. “More than usual.”
“I’m fine,” you replied, forcing a small smile. “Just tired.”
Geto didn’t press further, but the knowing look in his eyes lingered. He was always good at reading people, especially you. It was both comforting and unsettling.
“Hey, you two over there,” Gojo called out, pointing at you and Geto with a playful grin. “Are we boring you or something? You’re awfully quiet.”
Geto raised an eyebrow, completely unfazed. “Not everything needs to be a performance, Satoru.”
Gojo gasped dramatically, clutching at his chest. “A performance? This is entertainment, Sugu! You should be thanking me.”
“More like tolerating you,” Shoko muttered, sipping her coffee.
The table burst into laughter, Mina included. You chuckled along with them, though it felt hollow. As the conversation shifted again, you found yourself stealing glances at Mina and Gojo. The way she leaned into him, how his arm rested casually on the back of the booth behind her—it all felt so natural.
And yet, a part of you wished it didn’t.
The conversation flowed around you, and you caught yourself drifting again, staring absentmindedly at the coffee cup in front of you. It was silly. You had no reason to feel this way—this quiet, gnawing feeling deep in your chest. Maybe it was just the weight of how easily Mina had slipped into this dynamic, how effortlessly she made everyone smile. But you weren’t a child. You weren’t some outsider. You were one of Gojo’s closest friends. So why the hell did it feel like you were on the sidelines?
A sigh escaped you before you could stop it, and you cursed under your breath. Get it together, you thought, forcing your eyes to flick up.
When you did, you found yourself meeting Mina’s gaze. Her expression was warm, a little hesitant, but there was something real there. She wasn’t trying to dominate the conversation or make everything about her, but she was giving it her all, smiling, laughing, and just... being present. It was clear she was genuinely making the effort to be part of the group, to get to know everyone—not just Gojo, but the rest of you too.
And as you watched her, you realized that maybe this feeling of yours wasn’t about her at all. Maybe it was about you. About how, for all your history with Gojo, you’d never felt as though you were part of this easy, natural rhythm before. You’d never had to share him with anyone in this way.
But Mina was doing everything right. She wasn’t overstepping, wasn’t pushing. She just fit. And something about that made you feel like you should try harder, too. It wasn’t about competition; it was about inclusion.
You cleared your throat, feeling an odd shift in the air. It was time to say something. Something that would help her feel even more welcome, even though the jealousy—small as it was—still lingered under the surface. It was ridiculous to feel threatened by her. She wasn’t taking Gojo away; she was just adding to the group dynamic.
You took a deep breath, pushing the weight of your lingering thoughts aside. You couldn’t afford to let this strange unease keep creeping in. It wasn’t fair to either of you, and especially not to Mina, who was genuinely trying to be a part of the group and you weren’t going to let the discomfort linger anymore.
"So, tell us more about yourself, Mina," you said, trying to keep it light, leaning back in your seat. "We know the basics, but I feel like there's so much more to you."
Mina's face lit up at your question, the shift in energy already palpable as she relaxed. Her eyes sparkled with enthusiasm as she thought for a moment, clearly appreciative of your effort to make her feel a part of the group.
"Well, where do I even start?" she said with a little laugh, running a hand through her hair. "I guess, I’m a cheerleader, obviously," she added, her smile a little sheepish. "But it's not all flips and chants, you know? I mean, I do it because I genuinely love it—there’s something about being part of the team, getting everyone hyped up, and seeing everyone come together that feels... energizing."
You nodded, genuinely interested. "Yeah, that makes sense. You seem like you enjoy it."
Mina grinned, clearly relieved to be asked about something she was passionate about. "Definitely! It's a lot of hard work, though. You wouldn’t believe how much practice goes into it, especially with the team. I’m always on my toes—literally. Plus, we’ve got some pretty intense competitions coming up, so it's been non-stop."
As Mina spoke, her voice full of warmth and excitement, you couldn't help but smile. It was hard not to be drawn in by her energy, the way she lit up when she talked about cheerleading and the team. There was something infectious about her enthusiasm, and for a brief moment, you allowed yourself to let go of that gnawing discomfort, just listening to her without any reservations.
You watched as her hands moved animatedly, illustrating her points about the intensity of practice and the thrill of the competitions. Her passion for what she did was evident in every word she spoke. Despite the strange tangle of emotions that still simmered inside you, a part of you couldn't help but admire her. She was so effortlessly likable, so kind, and it was impossible not to feel a sense of warmth toward her.
It was ridiculous, really. Mina was Gojo’s girlfriend now, and you were here, in the moment, enjoying the conversation. The past was just that—the past. You were here, part of this group, and that’s all that should matter. So you smiled, genuinely, as she finished talking, and offered her an encouraging nod.
It didn’t take long for the conversation to shift. Mina glanced around, and then her gaze settled on you, a curious expression in her eyes.
"So," she began, her tone light and friendly. "What about you? What do you do outside of all this college stuff?"
Before you could respond, Geto leaned back in his chair, glancing at you with that usual smirk. "Ah, she's in a band," he said, his voice laced with an easy-going amusement. "Plays guitar, right? You should ask her to play something sometime. She’s got skills."
As soon as Geto finished speaking, Gojo shot forward in his seat, practically bouncing with excitement. “Oh, you have no idea,” he said, eyes wide as he turned to Mina. “She’s the guitarist, and let me tell you, she's a legend. Plays it like it’s an extension of her body. I swear, every time she picks it up, it’s like magic happens.”
You could feel your cheeks heat up as you shot him a glare, trying to push down the embarrassment. He had this uncanny ability to make you feel like the center of attention without even trying, but right now? You just wanted to crawl into a hole.
"Gojo, please," you muttered, rubbing your face in mock frustration, though part of you couldn’t help but laugh at how ridiculous he was being.
“No, no,” Gojo insisted, practically grinning ear to ear. “You need to hear her play, Mina. She’s got this raw, natural talent—totally different vibe from anything you’ve ever heard. Honestly, I’d go so far as to say she's got the kind of skills that could put some of those big-name bands to shame.”
Mina’s eyes widened, clearly impressed, while you tried not to visibly cringe. “Wow, really?” she asked, clearly intrigued. “I can’t believe I didn’t know that about you! What kind of music do you play?”
You felt yourself squirm a little under the attention, but you forced a small, humble smile. “I mean, Satoru’s just exaggerating,” you said, glancing over at Gojo with a playful roll of your eyes. “But I do love playing. It’s just... it’s kind of my thing. My band’s mostly into indie—nothing too fancy, just some good tunes to vibe to.”
Mina nodded, clearly still intrigued, but before she could say anything else, Shoko, who had been quietly observing the exchange, chimed in with her usual casual tone.
“Wait,” Shoko said, her eyes flicking toward you with a smirk. “Your band’s got a performance coming up, right? In about a month, I think?”
You blinked, surprised she remembered. "Yeah," you said, your voice a little quieter now, a flicker of nerves showing through. "It’s actually a pretty big one. There’s going to be some scouts there—so it's not just any usual gig. It’s kind of a big deal for us."
Mina’s eyes widened at that, her expression shifting from casual curiosity to genuine interest. “Scouts?” she asked, her tone suddenly serious. “That’s amazing! Is this the kind of thing you’ve been working toward?”
You nodded, trying to keep your composure, but the nerves were creeping in. "Yeah, it’s a big opportunity for the band. We’ve been putting in a lot of work to make sure we’re ready for it."
Mina smiled brightly, clearly impressed. "I can only imagine how exciting that must be. I’m sure you’re gonna kill it. Maybe we should all go and watch!"
Before you could respond, the sound of footsteps interrupted the conversation, and the waitress approached with a tray. As soon as she reached the table, she paused, eyes lighting up as she recognized Gojo.
"I’ve got your usual." She said in a sing-song manner, a casual grin laced on her face.
You watched as she placed the familiar dessert in front of Gojo. It was something you and Gojo had always ordered together over the years. A simple sundae, but it had evolved into something far more unique. Back when you were in middle school and had first ordered this, the two of you had added every weird topping and extra bit you could think of. The first few times you’d order it, the dessert would always get confused or judgmental glances from waitstaff, who had no idea what to make of your creation. Even the newer servers still gave a look of uncertainty when they brought it to you, unsure if they’d gotten it right. But over time, it had become your thing—your signature order.
Gojo grinned like a kid as he slid the dessert between him and Mina, pushing it towards her with an enthusiastic gesture.
“Here you go, babe,” Gojo said, his tone playful. “I know it looks a little… weird but trust me. It’s a masterpiece. Don’t judge it until you’ve tried it.”
Mina hesitated, her gaze flicking between the toppings piled high and the spoon in Gojo’s hand. You could see the skepticism on her face, but after a moment, she took a tentative bite. The way her eyes widened in surprise made it clear she hadn’t expected it to taste that good.
"This... is actually amazing," Mina said, her tone a mix of surprise and approval. “I didn’t think it’d work, but it totally does!”
Gojo laughed, clearly pleased. “Told ya. The best things are always a little unexpected.” His eyes sparkled as he looked at her, clearly proud of the creation.
Unable to continue watching them gush over the dessert, you tore your gaze away and tried to focus on the food being served to the rest of the table. You picked up your fork, trying to push aside the tight feeling in your chest.
Just then, Geto, with his usual smug expression, cut a slice from his pancakes and held the fork in front of you.
“Here,” Geto said with a smirk, as though he were about to do the same thing Gojo had just done. “Open wide.”
You looked up at him in confusion, blinking. “What are you doing?”
Geto didn’t answer immediately. Instead, he nudged his head toward Gojo and Mina, who were now happily discussing the dessert and sharing it between themselves. You could feel the small pang in your chest again at the sight, and Geto must have caught on, because his smirk only deepened.
You couldn't help but flick your gaze back to Gojo and Mina once more, watching the way he smiled at her, the two of them so effortlessly comfortable with each other. A pang of something you couldn't quite place squeezed at your chest, and you quickly averted your eyes.
But as you were met face to face with the pancakes still in front of your face, you looked up at Geto, deadpanning with a frown. “Seriously?” you muttered, your voice tinged with an exasperated sigh. He was still holding the fork out, practically dangling it in front of you like it was some kind of challenge.
With a roll of your eyes, you leaned forward and took the bite from his fork, trying to ignore the feeling of discomfort that was still gnawing at you. The food didn’t help distract from the odd tension building up in your chest, but at least it gave you something to do.
Geto grinned smugly as you ate, clearly pleased with himself. You chewed the bite, trying to push aside the strange, tight feeling in your chest. It wasn’t the food, nor Geto’s teasing, that was bothering you; it was the way Gojo and Mina seemed to be in their own little world. The way Gojo looked at her, the way they laughed together—it all seemed too natural. Too perfect.
Before you could shake off the feeling, Gojo suddenly cut through the moment with an exaggerated, playful tone. “Whoa, whoa, whoa. What’s going on between you two?” He leaned forward slightly, a grin still on his lips, but there was something a little off about his tone—almost as if he wasn’t quite sure whether to be amused or... something else.
You raised an eyebrow, not quite sure what to make of it. “What are you talking about?”
Gojo gestured at you and Geto with his fork. “I mean, you two have been acting like you’re in your own little world since we arrived just now.” His eyes flicked between the two of you, his usual easy grin still on his face, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes.
Geto shrugged nonchalantly, cutting into his pancakes. “We’re just eating, Satoru. Chill.” He took a bite, clearly unfazed by the question.
Gojo paused for a moment, his gaze lingering on Geto and then on you, as though trying to gauge something. “Yeah, sure, just eating,” he said, but the slight edge in his voice didn’t escape you. He quickly smiled again, though, and his attention shifted back to Mina. “Anyway, you like it, right?” he asked, directing his focus back to her as if to put the moment behind him.
You were still trying to piece together what had just happened, trying to make sense of Gojo’s sudden shift in attitude, but before you could overthink it, you decided to push it aside. It wasn’t worth dwelling on—whatever it was. So you focused back on your food, trying to ignore the small knot of confusion that had formed in your chest. It was probably nothing, right?
You glanced over at Shoko, hoping to distract yourself from whatever had just simmered in the air between you and Gojo. She had been quiet during the entire exchange, but now she was staring at the scene before her, completely deadpan. Her gaze flicked between you, Gojo, and Geto, the only reaction being a slow, unamused blink and a deep, weary sigh.
────────────────────────────────────────────
After the cafe, the atmosphere had softened a bit, but the there was a slight tension from earlier that still hung in the air, mostly because of Gojo. You tried to focus on the lighthearted chatter, but the nagging feeling didn’t completely leave you. Gojo was acting... off, and you couldn’t quite shake the odd feeling in your chest when you thought about how he’d reacted earlier.
The ride back to your apartment was uneventful, the conversation flowing easily between Geto and Shoko while you mostly listened, lost in thought. Gojo, however, seemed quieter than usual, distracted even.
When you arrived at the building, Gojo insisted on coming up with you, claiming he needed a “quick pee” before the drive back. The rest of the group stayed in the car downstairs, which was just fine with you. The lift ride was silent at first, the soft hum of the machinery the only sound between you and Gojo.
Then, Gojo finally broke the silence, his voice light but tinged with something you couldn’t quite pinpoint. “So, you and Suguru seem pretty close these days.”
You glanced at him, brows furrowing a little. “What do you mean?”
Gojo didn’t look at you as he leaned against the wall, arms folded. His tone was nonchalant, but there was something sharp beneath it. “I don’t know, just seemed like you two were... getting along pretty well just now. Spending a lot of time together, more than usual.”
There was a brief pause before he added, almost too casually, “Guess I never really pictured you and Suguru that close. But hey, whatever works.”
You blinked, the words landing heavier than you expected. “We’re just friends, ‘Toru.”
He gave a small, barely noticeable smirk, his eyes still not meeting yours. “Yeah, sure, just friends,” he said, voice a little too easy, but the faint edge in it was still there. He pushed off the wall as the elevator dinged, doors sliding open—but he didn’t step out.
You stepped out of the elevator first, waiting for Gojo to follow, but he didn’t move. Instead, he pressed the button to close the doors, looking at you with a lazy grin.
“Actually, I don’t feel like peeing anymore,” he said, his tone back to its usual playfulness as a chuckle slipped past his lips. “See ya.”
The doors slid shut before you could respond, leaving you standing there, feeling strangely confused.
Gojo leaned against the elevator wall, eyes half-lidded as he watched you step out. He pressed the button to close the doors before you could take another step, the action more impulsive than planned.
“Actually, I don’t feel like peeing anymore,” he said with a playful grin, the words leaving his mouth so easily that even he didn’t think much of it at first. His usual charm was there, but this time, it didn’t feel quite as natural.
You paused, looking back at him, and for a second, there was that expression on your face—confusion, curiosity, the way you always seemed to try and read him. Good luck with that. Even he wasn’t sure what was going on in his head.
Gojo held your gaze for a beat, his smirk faltering just slightly. He could feel the weight of the silence between you two, an awkward tension hanging in the air. But he ignored it. No need to read too much into this, right?
He waved you off, pushing the button again and watching the doors close.
“See ya,” he muttered, though his voice didn’t carry the usual lightness. His mind wandered back to the conversation, or rather, the subtle mention of Suguru.
It was nothing, really. He had no right to feel anything about it but if his best friend was going to get closer to one of his other friends—hell, maybe even start something—he had a right to know, right? Friends should keep each other in the loop, and that was all this was. He wasn’t supposed to care. Not really.
But then, his thoughts lingered on the image of you and Suguru together. Laughing, talking like you were the only two people in the room. He’d seen it, noticed it earlier. And now... it wasn’t sitting right with him.
He rubbed his temples as the elevator doors slid open, stepping out into the dimly lit hallway. Maybe he was just overthinking it. It was just... it was just weird, that’s all. Seeing you with Suguru like that. They were close, sure, but that didn’t mean anything.
Right?
But still, the more he thought about it, the more the thought of you and Suguru together—the way you looked at him, the way your smiles came easy—left a bitter taste in his mouth. He hated it. He hated that feeling. And it made him want to forget about it, brush it off. So he did.
He stuffed his hands in his pockets, keeping his gaze forward as he walked away. No need to dwell. It was just one of those things. It didn’t matter.
Gojo barely registered the walk back to his car. His mind was still occupied with the odd heaviness he couldn’t shake, lingering just below the surface. As he reached the vehicle, he opened the door and slid into the driver’s seat, the cool leather beneath him offering little comfort.
He didn’t start the engine right away. Instead, he glanced up at the rearview mirror, eyes landing onto Suguru for just a moment. Suguru, sitting in the back, was engrossed in his phone, probably texting someone he didn’t need to be texting at that hour. Gojo’s gaze lingered on him, but something in the pit of his stomach shifted, and without even thinking, his eyes flickered to the passenger seat.
Mina was there, leaning back with a soft smile, her eyes twinkling under the dim streetlights. She caught his gaze and tilted her head playfully. "Got a good pee?" she asked, her voice light, teasing.
He smirked, the easy expression sliding back onto his face like a well-worn mask. "Yeah," he replied, the word coming too smoothly, almost like he was trying to convince himself. His hand moved instinctively to her thigh, squeezing it lightly as he looked at her, letting the familiarity of her touch settle him.
She didn’t seem to mind, giving him a grin before shifting her focus back to whatever it was she was doing. Gojo’s thumb brushed over her leg absentmindedly, and the motion felt automatic, like he was just doing what he always did.
He started the car, the engine humming to life, and without another thought, he pulled out of the parking spot, heading toward the main road. "I’ll drop you guys off first," he said, his voice casual, still somewhat distant as he motioned to the two at the back with a nudge of his head.
Mina hummed an acknowledgment, and Suguru muttered something from the backseat, but Gojo didn’t really hear it. His attention was elsewhere, pulled back to the fleeting thought of you again—the way you were with Suguru, the way you talked to him. The thought lingered, biting at him more than it should.
He gripped the wheel a little tighter, but it was too late to push the feeling down. It kept crawling back, no matter how hard he tried to ignore it.
────────────────────────────────────────────
With Geto and Shoko finally sent home, Gojo was nearing the last house – Mina’s. He parked by the sidewalk as they approached the apartment complex and took the elevator up. As they reached Mina's front door, Gojo slowed his steps, hands casually tucked in his pockets. The soft glow of the porch light framed Mina’s face, her features lit with that ever-present, effortless cheerfulness. He always liked that about her—how easy she made everything feel.
"Thanks for sending me home," Mina said, her voice light but tinged with affection.
"Anything for you," Gojo replied smoothly, a lopsided grin tugging at his lips. "What kind of guy would I be if I just let you fend for yourself out here?"
She chuckled, shaking her head. "You’re so dramatic."
As she turned to unlock the door, Gojo took a step closer, reaching out. Gently, he placed his hands on her cheeks, his touch warm and lingering. Mina blinked up at him, caught off guard but not uncomfortable. If anything, her grin widened as he leaned in to press a kiss to her forehead.
It was slow and deliberate, a soft gesture that made Mina’s eyes flutter shut. Her heart felt light, and when he pulled back, she looked up at him with a contented smile, unaware of the shadow of thought crossing his face.
Gojo’s eyes lingered on her, a furrow forming between his brows as his thumb absentmindedly brushed over her cheek. His expression softened, almost distant, like he was seeing someone else entirely.
“Gojo?” Mina tilted her head, her grin dimming slightly as she studied him. “You okay?”
Her voice pulled him out of his trance, sharp in its difference—cheerful where he’d expected something quieter, something familiar. For just a split second, his hand paused before he masked his hesitation with a smirk.
“Yeah, yeah,” he said, his tone light as always, but Mina caught the way he inhaled deeply, as if to steady himself. “I was just admiring your face. You’re, like, unfairly cute, you know that?”
Mina rolled her eyes with a laugh, her earlier concern dissipating. “Flatterer.”
He took a step back, giving her one last grin. “Goodnight, Mina. Dream about me, yeah?”
She smiled back, waving as she slipped inside, the door closing softly behind her.
Gojo turned on his heel, walking down the path with his hands shoved deep in his pockets. His smirk faded as soon as he was out of sight, his mind replaying the moment Mina spoke. The voice he’d expected—it wasn’t hers. And no matter how hard he tried to shake it off, that momentary lapse clung to him like a ghost he couldn’t quite let go of.

Hey! Love your billy fics I have so many ideas but for now I'll go off the valentines prompt list! Can I get a billy x reader with the prompts 24. "I don’t like them, I like you." and 25."it's always been you."
Make A Move
Summary: Billy only has eyes for you Warnings: like a smidge of self doubt, reader is described as shorter than Billy, teenagers partying and a lil mention of alcohol, not proofread bc im super busy srry Word Count: 811 Notes: thank u so much for this request, I’m so happy u enjoy my Billy fics <3 sorry I didn’t get this out super fast, my power went out so I didn’t get the chance to write as much as I wanted to <3
You weren't much of a party goer, but if Billy went, so did you. You two were good friends and you may have developed some feelings for him. Usually, you would keep to yourself at parties, picking a corner to stand in with a drink in hand. But with Billy? You were by his side, smiling and laughing with everyone else.
One of Billy's buddies was throwing a party and you tagged along with him. You didn't mind being an observer as Billy moved from group to group, talking and laughing. You were just happy to be with Billy, even if you just stayed by his side and let him do the talking.
Your drink was running low, so you tugged on Billy's sleeve and he leaned his head closer in order to hear you over all the noise.
"'M going to get another drink. You want anything?" You asked.
"I'm good, thanks, babe," he replied before jumping right back into his conversation.
That was another thing. He called you things like 'babe' or 'sweetheart', blurring the lines between friends and more. You couldn't tell if he had feelings like you, or if he was just comfortable as friends.
You gave the group a quick smile before turning and going towards to the kitchen. You slipped your way through the crowd of half-drunk teenagers. You found the kitchen and quickly refilled your cup with your drink of choice, careful not to bump into the random couple who totally weren't making out.
You left the kitchen to go back to Billy, taking a refreshing sip of your drink. You could spot him through the crowd, those golden curls and blue eyes being hard to miss. But you nearly dropped your cup when you saw a girl pulling at his jacket while he smiled down at her.
Were you jealous? Maybe, but you weren't going to admit it to yourself in that moment. You caught Billy's eye from across the room and his smile dropped. You watched as he pushed the girl away but you were making your way to the door before he could try to get to you.
You knew Billy was a flirt, you had watched a bunch of girls try to win him over, so why were you so upset at this? Because you love him, you thought before quickly pushing it away. You made your way out into the yard, the cool night air more refreshing then the crowded indoors. You tossed your cup into a bush, the drink splashing onto the ground.
You heard Billy's boots hitting the concrete as he raced to catch up with you.
"Hey, where are you going?" He asked, grabbing your arm to stop you.
"I'm going home," you answered, trying to pull yourself away from him but he wouldn't let you go.
"What's wrong? What's going on?"
"Nothing's wrong!" You yelled, spinning around to face him. "Now, go back to the party. I don't want to keep you from all the girls in there."
Billy stared at you for a second, then smiled. "What?" He asked, almost laughing.
"I saw that girl in there, and I've seen girls trying to get with you," you answered. "What's so funny?"
"Oh, sweetheart. I don't like them, I like you. It's always been you," he said, stepping closer and slowly closely the space between you two.
"You...what?" You whispered, just loud enough for him to hear.
"I like you, hell, I may love you at this point," he replied, matching your volume as he tilted your face up with his fingers. "I was waiting for you to make a move."
You smiled, your face heating from his touch, words and gaze. "I was waiting for you to make a move."
You saw his eyes fall to your lips and before you could fully process it, his lips were on yours. It took a second, but you quickly melted and wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer. He moved the hand that tilted your chin up to your cheek, cupping it while his other hand fell to your waist. You could hear your heartbeat in your ears rather than the loud music from inside.
For those few moments, it was just you and Billy.
Then, he pulled away and you were pulled back into reality. Both of his hands cupped your cheeks as he pressed his forehead to yours. You covered his hands with yours as you smiled at him, a smile which he returned.
"Is that enough of a move for you?" He asked.
You giggled. "I may need one more kiss, just to be sure."
Billy started to pepper your face in quick kisses, causing your giggles to erupt into laughter.
And just like that, it was just you and Billy again, and you wouldn't trade it for a stupid party.

Tumblr won't let me post my answer, so I'm making it it's own post
So, good news for you, anon, is that that whole series is gonna be a shit ton of examining destiel through the eyes of other characters. But also, i love talking abt the Process of writing emotionally charged scenes, and so im happy to chat abt that moment, bc it's a significant one!
So, the scene:
"Another glance at Dean, and Sam thinks he ought to just rip this off like a band-aid, because every mention of Cas seems to push Dean’s soul further out of his body.
As gently as he can deliver the news, because he knows Mary considered Cas as much of a son as Dean and him, he rips off the proverbial band-aid, “Cas is— Cas died. He’s been dead almost a year. Jack left. He’s reconstructing Heaven with Amara’s supervision, I think. We haven’t heard from him in a while, though. I think maybe you’ve been dead longer than you’re thinking.”
“Oh,” Mary says softly.
Cautiously, she turns to look at Dean, and Sam has to clear his throat loudly so that Dean will notice there are people still around him, and look back at their mother.
When Dean does come back to the conversation, he must not like whatever expression is on Mary’s face— he doesn’t get angry, not out loud, in any case, but he seems further wounded by whatever expression she’s giving him.
“Dean, I’m so sorry about Castiel.”
Dean nods.
He keeps nodding.
Sam thinks of Dean sleep-deprived, circles and shadows under his eyes, sitting in a diner booth, talking to an empty bench, Dean chugging coffee, tearing the library apart all day and night, Dean drowned in liquor on the kitchen floor, jaundiced, blood-shot, Dean sitting in dewy grass like a kid in time-out while Baby’s carcass lets up streams of smoke behind him in the darkness.
“Knee’s busted,” Dean had said at the time.
Sam had thought to himself, “your soul’s looking pretty busted too, Dean,” but he’d not said it out loud.
It’s not like it would’ve done either of them any good.
“We can’t just leave her like this — out here in the dark. It’s cold. She’ll be all alone… she’ll think I just left her here to rot in the dark, all alone! She won’t know I’m coming for her! She can’t know how hard I’m trying to get back to her!”
Looking at Dean now, nodding, eyes empty, trying to look normal enough for their mother and failing so publicly, he feels a small flicker of compassion return to him.
He’s been hating Dean since the barn, and it’s not to say all that resentment and vitriol is totally gone in an instant like that, but Sam’s known for more of his life than not that no one hates Dean more than Dean, and remembering that now, in this very moment, makes him hurt for Dean.
You look insane, Sam thinks at Dean, sadness winding around his heart line a vine and squeezing, Dean, you’ve got the look of someone with dementia right now. You're so fucked up.
“What happened?” Mary wonders, sympathy woven in her voice.
Sam wishes he could’ve had time to warn her not to ask that.
“I, uhm…” Dean is floundering, looking pained and lost, and he’s not looking to Sam for help, because he probably thinks Sam won’t help him anyway, and Sam supposes he’s not given Dean much reason to believe otherwise.
Not twenty minutes ago he was thinking he’d have preferred Dean stayed dead.
“Who is Castiel?” Jess pipes up politely.
“He—” there’s a frog in Dean’s throat suddenly, he seems to lose his ability to speak altogether, he might even be struggling to breathe, and finally his eyes rove to Sam’s.
Instinctively, Sam snaps into action.
“Dean, go grab mom a drink. I’ll fill her and Jess in,” he says, taking Mary by the shoulder and leading her to sit at the same table as Jess.
There’s a cross of shame, embarrassment, and gratitude over Dean’s face before he retreats.
...
Mary puts her elbows on the table, and then her head in her hands.
Leaning in closer across the table, Sam tells Mary quietly, “mom, he’s worse this time. He’s worse by a lot.”
Picking up her head, Mary looks at him worriedly, and Sam spares Jess a glance, and explains, “Dean’s lost Cas before. They’ve been friends for over a decade, and even longer when you consider how much time they spent together in other dimensions, too— point is, Dean’s never coped well, whenever Cas went missing, or was taken from him, but this time…” Sam looks back at Mary, grimacing, “... something’s different this time. He's...”
Sam could swear Mary knows something he doesn’t.
She looks down and away, but not as if she’s deep in thought, or even confused, or shocked— she seems resigned, almost.
As if she knows how that sentence ends, even though Sam doesn't."
So, Sam's perspective is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that chapter. Sam's perspective here almost matters more than Mary's, but that's why this isn't in Mary's perspective. We'll get her POV later, but right now, it matters that it's Sam, thinking and talking about Dean, to Mary.
In the opening of that chapter, Sam is pondering, resentfully, how he is more Dean's son than John or Mary's. He puts himself in the position of being Dean's son, knowing how fucked up that is, and hating Dean for it, despite knowing that was so outside of Dean's control.
Their relationship is weird and fucked up! Dean is his brother, his mother, his father, his friend, his guardian -- Dean wears a lot of hats for Sam. And here, this part of the scene opens with Sam looking at Dean, and knowing him.
He's the only person in that room that actually knows Dean.
That's why this scene, in regard to Mary, really 'begins,' with the observation that every mention of Cas' name is triggering Dean. Sam knows what Dean looks like when he's triggered, he can see Dean dissociating. He's letting Dean flounder, not out of anger, or anything, but because Dean hasn't asked for his help (because Dean is so reluctant to do that, Sam is his 'son,' and he doesn't ask Sam for help even when he should -- Sam knows this, this is the behavior of a person knowing when to tread lightly with a paternal figure).
Sam is keeping Mary's eyes on him purposefully, that's mentioned in the narration, that he's intentionally keeping Mary from looking at Dean, because Dean 'looks insane.'
We can only surmise what that might mean from Sam's perspective. This is also why it's really fun to play with POV switches -- what 'he looks insane,' means to Sam is probably not what it means to Mary. Still, the knee-jerk reaction is to keep anyone from seeing Dean in that state.
He considers Dean too vulnerable. Now here Sam is playing the Dean to John; just as Dean protected John (and will absolutely reflexively do when John is back in the bunker with them), Sam protects Dean, despite the everything of it all.
"Cautiously, she turns to look at Dean, and Sam has to clear his throat loudly so that Dean will notice there are people still around him, and look back at their mother.
When Dean does come back to the conversation, he must not like whatever expression is on Mary’s face— he doesn’t get angry, not out loud, in any case, but he seems further wounded by whatever expression she’s giving him.
“Dean, I’m so sorry about Castiel.”
Dean nods.
He keeps nodding."
Sam can't see Mary's expression, and we're not with Mary in her head yet.
We can only imagine whatever silent exchange happened with their faces when Dean came back a little bit to reality.
What does Mary see, is the question, and that's a really good question.
Without spoiling other plot stuff, we can keep it limited to speculation here -- Dean is as good as, if not a better hunter, than Mary. They both read people well, it's how they survived in the game as long as they did.
So, Dean looks at Mary and sees something that makes him angry, and defeated, as far as Sam can tell.
Mary, earlier in the scene, just mentioned that she was raised from the dead in the same place she first lost John.
Now she's looking at Dean, living in the same place he last lost Cas. I think it's safe to suggest that Mary, when she looks at Dean, sees herself.
She has no right to claim parts of Dean, she wasn't there for him or with him in any capacity, even when she was physically available, she was never emotionally available, she has no right to look at him like she Gets It, even if she does. Even if she's holding compassion for him -- that would irk Dean. Dean has his own grief with Mary, for her absences, for not appreciating that he was so on his own, for not somehow knowing that John would be who he was -- but starting a fight with Mary about how she's looking at him would be admitting something.
If he confesses that he's angry about the way Mary is looking at him, as if she 'gets it,' then he's confessing that there is anything there to 'get.'
So he looks away, he keeps his mouth shut. He just nods and keeps nodding.
There's so much frustration in that body language. Confused anger. Unable to maintain eye-contact, unable to stop nodding, but not saying anything, and then --
"“He—” there’s a frog in Dean’s throat suddenly, he seems to lose his ability to speak altogether, he might even be struggling to breathe, and finally his eyes rove to Sam’s.
Instinctively, Sam snaps into action."
Dean is doing exactly what he did in the dungeon. Dean's PTSD is on loud display here, but it's often just brushed off as being part of Dean's 'difficult' personality. Dean can't speak -- he went mute as a kid for a while when Mary died, he would shut down and stonewall whenever he lost Cas, he couldn't speak through Cas' confession, and now faced with Mary and Jess asking basic questions 'what happened?' 'who is Castiel?' he can't speak again.
How panicked must Dean be, to look to his little brother for help?
Sam thinks he's maybe not even breathing.
And word choice matters always, but especially here -- his eyes 'rove' to Sam's. His eyes are roving around the floor, and we don't know in search of what. They almost *happen* upon Sam. It's almost incidental.
His eyes 'rove,' to Sam's, implying a sort of lack of intention. His eyes don't 'shoot,' or 'snap,' to Sam's -- Dean is looking around the room, Sam likens him to a patient with dementia, says he looks 'insane,' and maybe to Sam, that means 'lost.'
Dean looks lost.
Dean is lost.
He happens upon his little brother/son in the darkness, and Sam, being the empathetic person he is, jumps into action, because anything else would go against his moral grain.
"Mary puts her elbows on the table, and then her head in her hands.
...
Sam could swear Mary knows something he doesn’t.
She looks down and away, but not as if she’s deep in thought, or even confused, or shocked— she seems resigned, almost.
As if she knows how that sentence ends, even though Sam doesn't."
This will come back later, but in the earlier seasons, Dean says to Sam that he doesn't know what the loss of love like losing Jess is like. He basically says that he doesn't envy Sam, and all he knows is that he's never loved and lost that way before. He implies he never will, that he doesn't feel capable of loving that big.
Somewhere along the line, Dean did learn what loving and losing big felt like.
Sam doesn't know it yet, because Sam can't see himself in Mary or Dean. They aren't mirrors for him. He sees them struggling, they struggle so differently from him, he can't identify it, but there, in the room with them, is where this conversation first began.
Jess.
See, this is a fun part of talking about writing, because this isn't gonna be explicitly stated in the narration at any point, I only get to talk about this bc someone asked me abt it lol -- the entire conversation these characters are having, couldn't have happened without Sam losing Jess.
First, Mary lost John, she made a deal, then John lost Mary, then much later on, Sam lost Jess, then Dean lost Sam, he made a deal, then Sam lost Dean, then much, much later on, Dean lost Cas.
There is only one person in that room that couldn't/wouldn't understand what Dean is going through right now, and that's Jess.
She's haunted the narrative just as effectively as Mary. The chapter begins with Sam hiding from her still -- he's hiding from Jess, he's hiding from his grief, because before he knew his parents really at all, he was a widower. He lost Jess, and that took over the all of him.
The thing is, though, the loss of Jess made Sam move. He got up, he got hunting, he got angry, he got into motion -- what happens to Mary and Dean, in their bereavement, is that they both shut down. They stop living.
That's why, during this exchange, Sam realizes he's angry with Dean for killing himself in that barn (or letting himself die -- it's computing as the same thing in Sam's head). They're all talking about grief, and a loss so profound, life loses all meaning.
Sam went out in search of meaning again, Mary and Dean never did. They disconnected from their emotions whether they meant to or not, the loss was too much, it defined who they are, and made them both absent.
Sam is angry with Dean's absence/leaving the same way Dean is angry with Mary, and this song and dance of loss and grief and rage and dissociation is so commonplace among them all, they can't remember that at one point in time, they were all Jess, and they weren't Jess's anymore, the day they lost their own Jess.
Jess, shiny and new, full of promise, unmarred, emotionally. She hears that Dean went to Hell, and she gasps. Mary and Sam aren't that effected, thinking back on it. To them, it's just a fact of life.
There is a ghost in the room, a constant, if gentle and innocent reminder, that life was not always so grim, and so heavy, and that ghost is the measuring stick of loss. Jess is That Big Loss for Sam, whose perspective we're inside of. He avoids her. He avoids looking at her, he isn't thinking about her too much, he's concerning himself with Dean and Mary, it's easier, it comes more naturally, but she's not going anywhere. She's in the room.
All that loss and grief have ever meant to Sam is sitting in the room with him while he looks at Mary, who is putting her head in her hands, resigned, full of some knowledge Sam thinks he doesn't have, because he's not looking at it across the table from him.
Earlier in his interiority, Sam muses about who he might have been, and that's an enduring character flaw in Sam, that he's fixated on fixing a past he can't fix, and wondering about what might have been, instead of staying in the present, accepting who and what he is, and finding a way to be okay with that.
Sam and Dean often parallel each other in canon. A lot of what Sam *says* he believes, he doesn't act as if he believes, and Dean often *says* things he doesn't actually believe, and we can tell he doesn't believe the things he says, by the way he acts.
Sam speaks a lot about healing, but never does it. If asked, Sam would say that the past is in the past, and he's gotta stay in the present time, but he so rarely actually does that. Dean *does* try to heal, but he does it all wrong, he hurts himself in his pursuit to feel better, he withdraws into himself like an animal with a broken limb receding into the woods to lick its wounds and see if the bone ever sets again.
Sam talks the talk, Dean walks the walk; Sam thinks there's nothing he can do to fix the past, but that doesn't keep him from trying to. He stays angry about it, he stays in motion about it, that's what Lights Out was also about -- Sam not sitting still in the face of loss, being unwilling to accept some doom. Dean resigns himself to the doom, and can't withstand the grief that comes with that resignation, but that doesn't mean he hasn't accepted it.
The question of what Mary sees can only really be spoken about, for right now, through Sam's lens of reality. And Sam has his own biases, his own blind spots, his own assumptions, and that colors how all that interaction goes down.
If Sam were more able to accept the ghost at the table and all that ghost brings with it, he'd be able to see more clearly what Mary sees. He'd know how the sentence ends.
Mary, being a Dean Mirror, knows how the sentence ends, because she is also at the end of that sentence.

“hey, we should check out that maid cafe downtown. i heard the waitresses are fine,” jean smirked as he proposed the idea, passing a blunt he’d just finished rolling over to eren.
eren graciously accepted the weed, but clicked his tongue and rolled his eyes at jean’s new idea for their friday night. a maid cafe wasn’t particularly up his alley -- he’d just started dating you a few weeks ago and didn’t have any interest in drooling over other women all night. but he was bored and if everyone else wanted to go, he supposed he’d tag along too.
“hell yeah, pretty girls in short skirts sounds good to me,” connie jived, a giddy smile on his face as he blew out some smoke from his own blunt.
“don’t you think that kind of place is a little disrespectful, guys? we shouldn’t view women as-”
“you’re too uptight armin, maybe we can find a nice girl to suck you off and loosen you up a little bit” jean laughed and cut him off as the blonde boy continued to give his immature friends a disapproving look.
“whatever i’m in, just let me finish this first,” eren held up his blunt and took another long drag, “i wont be able to stand you assholes all night if im not high”.
the four of them hung around their shared four-bedroom college apartment a little longer, finishing up their smoke sesh and flinging half-assed insults at one another. the sky was already getting dusky by the time they actually left and were walking through the small, bustling town surrounding their campus. the cafe wasn’t too far, maybe a thirty minute walk, but it was a beautiful spring night and shit, gas is expensive.
armin’s face was horribly flushed when they finally arrived and entered the front door, the poor boy completely unable to even make eye contact with the hostess standing in front of them. his shyness earned him a swift elbow from eren — his way of telling the blonde boy to relax a little bit.
the young hostess spoke to them in a sing-song tone, her hair perfectly curled to frame her face and her cheeks pink with blush. connie and jean completely ate up everything she was doing, gawking at her like a bunch of losers who hadn’t gotten laid in way too long — which is exactly what they were. eren was almost relieved when she finally sat them at a table and walked away, because he couldn’t stand to listen to jeans' horrendous attempt at flirting any longer.
everything on the menu had cute names that matched the theme of the cafe, and while eren and armin browsed the options, connie and jean continued to whisper about the different waitresses and which one they hoped they got.
as for you, it had been a pretty uneventful night, normal customers and nothing too crazy — that was until you walked up to the newest table you were assigned and saw your boyfriend and his friends sitting around the booth. eren and you hadn’t been dating all that long, a few weeks at most, and you hadn’t even met any of these friends yet. anxiety began to pool in your chest, but you tried your best to put on your best voice and greet them like they were any other table — after all, eren was staring so intently at the menu that he hadn't even noticed you yet.
“welcome home, masters! can i get any drinks for you?” you push your voice up to a high octave and make sure to draw out the word masters — it was the opening line that every waitress was required to use by the cafe.
two of the four boys are ogling at you so intensely that they might as well have drool hanging off their desperate lips. a third boy is keeping his eyes fixated on the table as if he doesn’t want to look at you — which is something you’re not quite used to. and eren is staring at you with his mouth gaping open, which he quickly shuts before any of his friends can notice.
he decided to sit back and watch, an amused look on his face as you continue to flaunt your extra-girly facade. he decides that now isn’t a great time for introductions to his bonehead friends — plus he knows you’re nothing like this in real life, so it’s entertaining to watch you act so out of character.
not to mention you look hot as fuck in your skimpy maid outfit — the tight corset-like top hugged your breasts perfectly and your skirt was so short he could practically see the base of your ass cheeks. he could definitely get used to seeing you like this.
but his amusement quickly started to fade as connie and jean shamelessly showered you in compliments and flirted with you like their lives depended on it. and what makes it worse is you’re playing along — he gets that it’s your job but still, can’t you just tell them to shut the fuck up?
he shoots the two idiots across from him a dirty look as soon as you walk away, “hey dumbasses, cut the girl a break”.
“hey man, i didn't hear you call dibs or anything,” connie raised an eyebrow at him.
“yeah dude, we’re just fucking around, chill,” jean added, a light laugh hanging off his last word.
eren couldn’t do anything but roll his eyes in response. he didn’t want to outright expose your relationship yet but he wouldn’t be able sit here and watch this all night either.
his blood was practically boiling when you returned with a tray full of their drinks. connie and jean turned their charms right back on for you, and fuck, if he had to hear you call them “master” one more time he was gonna lose his mind.
“armin get the fuck out of the booth,” he glared at the blonde boy, practically pushing him out of the booth so he could get to you.
armin yet out a small yelp, clambering out of his seat and letting eren climb out after him. the dark haired boy gave you the sweetest smile, but his eyes were lit up like flames.
“hey, mind showing me where the bathrooms are?”
you find yourself frozen in place for just a second, but quickly recover and give him a quick “of course master, follow me!”
the two of you walk to the bathroom in silence, but you can practically feel the heat radiating off of eren.
when you reached the restrooms you opened the door for him and bowed your head, but he grabbed your wrist and yanked you inside behind him, earning a small yelp from you. you noticed him snap the lock down behind him, and before you could even question his motives you were backed into a wall with his lips working roughly against yours.
“so this is what you do all day? walk around with your ass hanging out while calling people master?” he growled in your ear while moving down towards your neck and placing violent kisses along the sensitive skin.
“i- ah- if it bothers you-“ you breath out between gasps, your hands pressed defensively to his chest, “god, you reek of pot, eren”.
“no, it doesn't bother me, i love watching you flirt with other men. but let me remind you who you actually belong to now,” he murmured, voice dripping with sarcasm as he nibbled up to your ear and his hands fondled with the zipper at the back of your uniform.
“eren!” a strangled yelp leapt from your throat as he unzipped you and let your costume fall around your ankles.
for a second you thought about trying to stop him, but his hot lips against your cool skin was starting to win you over. your neck was undoubtedly covered in bruised love marks now, your skin aching in the most beautiful way.
“take it all off,” he mumbled into your ear as he snapped the strap of your bra against your skin.
“we’re in a bathroom eren, i don’t-“ you tried to reason with him, but any inkling of a rational thought was long gone from his mind.
“what’s with all the protests? you had no problem following orders when my friends were the ones giving them,” he cocked an eyebrow at you and lifted his loose shirt over his head in one swift motion.
you could have retorted or made a jab back at him, but your attention was caught up in the perfect lines of eren’s physique. between the sculpted curves of each of his muscles, his dark hair tied in a loose knot at the base of his neck, and the evil smirk across his lips, you were rendered indefensible. everything about eren was so intoxicating, and the idea of letting him have his way with you right now, in this bathroom, was starting to sound less and less like a bad idea. you weren’t sure how long you’d been staring and admiring when his lusty voice filled your ears again.
“did you forget how to use that pretty mouth of yours? i’m sure i can give you a little refresher,” he faked a frown and pointed to the floor with his index finger.
without a shred of reluctance you sunk to his feet. he had you in a state of utter compliance now, and all he had to do was mutter a few arrogant words and take off his shirt — you were almost ashamed, almost.
after a few smooth movements of his fingers against the drawstrings of his sweats, the tip of his member was hanging mere centimeters from your face. you glanced up at him with giant eyes as he stared down at you with his clouded ones. between his raging hunger for your body and the high that was still clouding his mind, there wasn't a single coherent thought in eren’s head other than the way your lips would feel wrapped around his cock.
“open up, princess. if you wanna act like a slut, i’ll treat you like one,” he grabbed the back of your head and forced it forward.
your lips parted without even thinking, and he thrusted his full length down your throat without any warning. you were left coughing and sputtering, the walls of your throat constricting against his cock and sending a few curses from his lips.
he slowed down slightly after that, but kept a steady pace as he mouth-fucked you until tears were leaking down your cheeks. you were gagging and coughing and your face was stained with salty saline but you loved every second of it. his head rolled back as raspy grunts fell from between his teeth, his fist tightening at your scalp.
after he thought you’d finally had enough he pulled back and released your hair from his steel grip. his cock was aching now, coated in a thick layer of your sticky saliva and yearning for more.
“get on the counter,” he ordered, and you scrambled to your feet in a way that was embarrassingly desperate.
you boosted yourself up onto the cool countertop, positioned perfectly between two sinks and leaning back against the mirror. eren placed a firm grip on each of your legs, shoving them open and snickering at the slick patch of fabric between your thighs.
“you like being treated like a whore, don’t you?” he clicked his tongue off the roof of his mouth and reached down at your panties before yanking them off in one fell swoop.
he squatted down so his face was level with your cunt, sticking out his tongue and dragging it up to your clit with antagonizing slowness. he moved the warm muscle up and down, sliding it between your folds and in circles around your clit — but his tongue was just barely making contact. and every time you bucked your hips towards him, begging and yearning for just a little more he’d pull his head back and click his tongue at you.
you were aching, leaking, and so incredibly needy for him and he knew it. he’d transformed you into the crumpled mess laying before him in a matter of minutes, and he was very proud of it.
“i’d start begging if i were you, or i’ll leave you here like this — a stupid broken slut with no one to fuck her,” he stood up and cocked his head to the side before beginning to tease your entrance with a single finger.
“ah- eren, please! i’ll do whatever you want,” you whimpered at him, a pitiful look on your face.
“eren? you know you’re not supposed to call customers by their name here,” he shook his head, “you’ll have to do better than that”.
“please- master, use me however you want. just please fuck me already”.
that seemed to suffice for eren, because after that it didn’t take long for him to shealth himself inside you and have your sweaty back slamming into the glass mirror behind you. strangled moans and pitiful whimpers slipped from between your lips, your eyes rolling back into your head in complete bliss. he’d teased and tormented you for so long that the sudden intense stimulation was almost too much.
he fucked himself into you so hard you thought you might break — your legs ached and your back hurt from awkwardly leaning into the mirror. but those feelings were quickly pushed to the back of your head because the overwhelming pleasure was so forceful that you could barely focus on anything else. eren’s length was grinding deep into your aching caverns so good that it was completely clouding your brain.
you let out a stifled gasp when he abruptly pulled out, leaving you feeling empty and aching for more.
“why-,” your voice was so destitute and so, so desperate.
“shut up and stand in front of me,” he commanded, pulling you off the counter and twisting you so you were facing the bathroom mirror.
“look at yourself in the mirror and watch me fuck you,” he practically snarled, placing a palm on your back and pushing your chest down against the counter, “look at how much of a slut you are for me”.
the only response that came out of your mouth was a tiny whine of acceptance — it was pathetic.
a breathy moan fell from your lips as he slid back in, and your cheeks blushed a dark shade of red as you watched yourself get fucked from behind. it was embarrassing, humiliating even, having to see yourself like this, but what made it even worse was that you fucking liked it.
“look at yourself,” he nodded towards the mirror, picking up his pace and tightening his grip on your hips, “just a dumb whore who’s good for nothing but taking orders from other people”.
“only- you!” you let out a strangled yelp.
“what was that? i don’t think i heard you,” he thrusted hard, reaching deeper than he had the entire time and then leaning over your back so his head was positioned right next to yours.
“say it again,” he murmured, burning holes through your eyes with how intensely he was staring at you in the mirror.
“i’m a dumb whore, but only for- you,” you repeated, squirming and whining at the painful pleasure he was forcing into you.
“that’s right,” he flashed you a satisfied grin, standing back up and resuming his original pace.
the sudden shift had you clawing at the smooth countertops — desperately wishing you had a pillow or sheet to grasp onto for some kind of support. you flinched when you felt a couple of his cool fingertips find your clit, immediately rubbing hasty circles around the sensitive bundle of nerves.
“i want you to come for me,” he locked eyes with you in the mirror again, “and i want you to think about how i’m the only one who will ever make you feel this good the entire time”.
his words were harsh but they sounded like honey when they flowed through your pathetically devoted ears. between his consistent thrusts and the pads of his fingers working their magic, you were a pitiful mess of whimpers and moans in a matter of minutes. your body twitching and legs shaking as you mumbled his name over and over — it was the only word your brain could comprehend right now.
seeing you like that nearly pushed eren over the edge himself, but he forced himself to last a little longer, wanting to milk your orgasm for everything that it was. he was genuine when he said no one else would ever make you feel the way he could — your head was spinning and your body was on a high that felt like it would never end.
only once your body finally fell limp and tired, signifying that your climax had ended, did he pull out and spray his seed all over your exposed back. you were a sticky, sweaty mess and your legs didn’t have the strength to stand even after eren was done coming down from his own high.
your face was buried in your arms when you felt a wet paper towel cleaning up the mess of semen off your back. eren tossed the towel into the garbage and wrapped his arms under your torso so he could help your pitiful self stand up. you let out a few pained whimpers, stumbling into his arms and wrapping your hands around his neck.
“that bad, huh? how are you gonna go back out there and work for all your masters? i’m sure they’re waiting,” he smirked at you, and there was no sympathy in his voice.
“i- i don’t think i can,” you whined, clinging to him as your legs continued to shake underneath you.
eren shook his head and clicked his tongue, helping you over to your clothes and assisting you with getting back into your uniform. even after getting dressed your legs refused to work — you were a shaky, stumbling mess. you sat in a pitiful heap against the tiled wall while you watched eren get his own clothes back on.
“i think you might need a new job,” he snickered, squatting down and lifting you onto his back once he was dressed.
you graciously climbed onto his back, arms wrapping around his neck and burying your face into his neck, “yeah, yeah i’ll get a new job”.
“good idea, because everyone’s about to see how pathetic you are as we walk through the cafe,” he wrapped his arms back under your backside to support your weight.
“there’s a back exit right down the hall, please take that one,” you begged, “please”.
“well. since you asked so nicely and did so well i guess you deserve that,” he complied, exiting the bathroom and following your directions to the back door.
but because you have the worst luck in the world, one of the cafe managers came walking right around the corner just as the two of you were about to leave. you buried your head deeper into eren’s neck, unbearable amounts of embarrassment and shame flooding your veins.
“hey man, she quits, sorry!” eren yelled and handled it for you, dashing out the back door before the manager could even comprehend what he’d just seen.
“thank you,” you mumbled into his shirt, and you were truly thankful that you didn’t have to speak for yourself in there.
“no problem, princess,” he adjusted one of his hands so he could squeeze your ass, making you jump against his back, “let’s head back to my house for round two, yeah?”
“r-round two?” you stuttered.
you could barely handle round one, and he was ready to go again? how!?
“i’m joking, relax. let’s go watch a movie or something,” he chuckled, hoisting you higher on his back and beginning your long walk back to his apartment.
you sighed and sunk into his back, that sounded nice. there was a huge difference in how eren acted earlier and how he was acting now, but you were a sucker for both personalities. you expected college to consist of classes and work and maybe a few new friends but meeting eren yeager was sure to make it a lot more interesting.

dom student council pres zhongli x troublemaker childe
Guess who’s back :D Back with some zhonchi smut for all u sinners. Note: Theres a lot of spelling errors bc when i wrote this i was telling it to a friend n they said i should post this n i’m too lazy to edit it so yeah! enjoy <3
summary kinda: child did something n is now stuck in detention with zhongli being a kinky president of the student council watching him.

so childe is bored asf n tries seducing zhongli. but childe has always had a crush on zhongli. thats why he misbehaves to get his attention.
so zhongli says “ur here again” n sighs
“yup did you miss me?! dont answer that bc ik you did”
n zhongli sighs again all annoyed n shit
“seems you never learn”
“maybe i’m jus here bc i love n want to see you everyday”
n zhongli taking that as sarcasm rolls his eyes
“i doubt that.”
and so for like 30mins childe is making all these noises to get zhongli’s attention and annoy him which it works. and zhongli having enough of it already decides that he needs to be punished. so he gets up n walks over to the desk childe is sitting at cups his face with his hand grinning
“u rly like to get on my nerves dont you~…..” and childe’s tryna contain himself
“is it working~?”
“idk pretty boy….wanna find out for urself~…..”
n zhongli is like inches away from childe’s face. n childe still keeping his composure decides to tease back hoping to get what he’s longed for for so long.
“idk do i~?….”
and zhongli leans in n jus as hes abt to kiss childe he pulls away and walks back over to the teachers desk and childe is really disappointed bc he thought he finally had it but jus lost it. so zhongli goes back to working on his paperwork while childe is just furious.
”Is this how u treat everyone?! tease them and leave them with nothing. take advantage of us!!”
n zhongli bursts out laughing putting his papers in a neat stack
”ur quite interesting childe, if i said it was jus u would that make u feel better??”
and childe huffs rolling his eyes still rly pissed off.
“did u want more? were you expecting something more from me? something else?”
n childe blushing looks away
“fuck off”
n zhongli gets mad at the response and pulls out one of those long ass rulers n gets up n starts walking to childe.
“thats no way to speak to the student council president. you need to be punished”
so zhongli sets the ruler aside still pissed asf
“get up.” childe ignores.
”get up right now.” childe still ignores.
so zhongli grabs the ruler smacking it against the desk childe is at.
“GET UP RIGHT NOW!”
n childe jumps a little and gets up
“ok ok chill”
so childe walks over to zhongli n stands in front of him.
“im gonna punish n force you into submission until u completely submit to me”
childe laughs
“no way. you really think u can do that? just try”
“oh i will. just watch me”
(a/n: in this fic childe has bright pink sensitive nipples bc ughh 😩🤌🏾 well both of them have bright pink nipples but zhonglis r rly sensitive.)
so zhongli turns childe around n starts grinding against him causing childe to moan ever so slightly.
“do u like that~?”
n childe tryna keep his composure laughs to cover up a moan. n zhongli looks down and grins seeing childe’s hard erection through his clothes.
so zhongli reaches down n starts palming childe causing slightly louder moans to come out of his mouth.
“your so hard for me childe….what a naughty slutty little boy~“
childe loses it bc zhongli is finally saying the things he’s been dreaming of him saying. so zhongli amused starts licking the shell of his ear biting and nibbling it which makes childe blush harder. so zhongli reaches his hand down into childe’s pants and boxers and wraps his hand around childe’s dick which he almost cums. so zhongli starts pumping him n not even 30s he throws his head back on zhonglis shoulder n cums letting out a loud moan
“fuck zhongli~…..”
zhongli smirks very amused
“so quick to cum~ do i rly turn u on that much~?”
n childe fights the urge to nod his head and submit. he’s not going down without a fight.
“no i was just pent up. why would i be for someone like you!!”
zhongli snickers and slides his hands up childes shirt n starts taking it off.
“not submitting yet i see~….”
“did u think it would be that easy asshole? ha!”
so zhongli turns childe around.
“you should just give up now! your not go-“
n zhongli interrupts him with a passionate kiss. a long deep one filled with sexual tension n desire. he leaves childe blushing like crazy and gasping for air.
“what was that? i didnt catch the last part, say that again.”
“i said that i’m never gonna sub-“
n zhongli interrupts him again. same thing happens like 2 more times until childe gives up.
“can u repeat that one more time?”
and childe looks away with a annoyed expression on his face
“glad that shut u up~”
so then zhongli looks childe up and down bites his lip causing childe to blush.
“you’re kinda cute…i think i can use u….”
n childe blushes more
“and these nipples….”
zhongli says while pinching them making childe arch his back and moan loudly.
“they look pink and innocent…but when i pinch n twist them like this…”
childe lets out n even louder moan with a face flushed even more n drool running down the side of his mouth
“….you make such naughty noises and that really turns me on.”
and so zhongli continues pinch n play with them and then starts marking his neck.
“what if i made u mine hmm? my little fuck toy? or how abt pet?? you could be of some use to me….”
and all childe can do is whimper. so zhongli has him bend over on the teachers desk and pulls down childe’s pants. and he like squeezes childes plump round ass and caresses it before grabbing the ruler and spanking him with it which causes childe to moan n cum immediately.
“ur such a slutty masochist”
n childe groans n is like stuttering his words
“w-w-well ur so fucking sadis-“
n zhongli spanks him not with the ruler this time but his hand n childe jus looses it.
“ready to submit….?”
n childe tryna keep the ounce of pride he has left shakes his head.
“no!”
zhongli spanks him again.
“how abt now?”
“No!”
n so zhongli gets an idea n sticks his fingers inside childe’s mouth.
“suck”
childe does so n a minute later zhongli pulls them out.
“what are you gonna d- ahh!”
and zhongli’s fingers are wiggling around inside childe tryna get him prepared. childe has just completely lost it. he’s drooling all over the desk, moaning so loudly that if there was people here they would be able to hear, clinging onto the edge of the desk like his life is on the line.
“f-fuck zhongli…ahhh”
he’s a panting slutty mess. a fee mins later zhongli pulls his fingers out n takes off his own pants and boxers lining himself up to childes entrance. he inserts only the tip of his dick causing childe to go even more crazy if thats even possible n moan so fucking loud. but its been long enough. he wants more. more of zhongli inside him. he wants all. all of zhongli inside him. so he whimpers n cries out zhongli’s name.
“whats the problem sweetheart?”
zhongli says grinning from ear to ear.
“pls..”
childe says desperately
“pls what?”
”pls zhongli i-….”
“you…? gotta tell me what u want otherwise i wont know.”
“pls i want more of u….!!”
“beg for more than.”
“Zhongli pls i want ur cock inside me so bad. pls i’ll do anything!! just fuck me already!!”
“anything…?”
zhongli says slipping half way inside him.
“y-y-yes just pls fuck me!!”
n zhongli, a very satisfied man jus starts pounding into him hitting his g spot every time.
“Fuck! fuck! fuck! FUCK! ZHONGLI PLS SLOW DOWN AHH~!!”
n that only makes zhongli speed up and childe cums like multiple times. after a while, giving a few last thrusts zhongli comes for the second time inside childe. and pulls out while childe just drops to the floor completely unable to move or anything. jus a panting blushing hot slutty mess with zhongli’s cum dripping out of him. all pride lost. pulling his pants and boxers back on zhongli lifts him up to his feet and bc childe has no strength he just falls onto zhongli resting his head on his shoulder.
“now that you’ve completely submit to me, ur all mine~….mine to do whatever i pls with. mine and only mine. No one else….”
and childe jus nods groaning bc of the pain.
”i hope u learned ur lesson now. unless…. you wanna comeback again for another visit…”
n childe jus groans again.
“i see the way you look at me childe….a look filled with lust and desire…its really quite a turn on~….. you look so desperately….so needy….so vulnerable…the amount of times i wanted to bend you over and fuck u so hard until you cant walk is too much to count. i wanted to make you mine so no one else could have that innocent slutty little boy who’s just oozing with sexual desire. any man or woman would get turned on n wanna have there way with you. u needed to be protected and only by me.”
so zhongli grinds his teeth bc of how possessive he is.
“so no one but me can fuck u stupid. and now that ur finally mine…i dont have to worry abt it so much as before”
n so zhongli strokes childe’s hair n plants a kiss on his head.
“you’re my precious little play thing.”
and childe, burying his face into zhongli’s chest smiles bc thats all he ever wanted. and then he looks up at zhongli as zhongli looks down at him smiling.
“zhongli…?”
”yes?”
“if all u said was true….why were u such an asshole to me. you were stricter on me than others, ruder to me than others, tougher on me then others….so why?”
“why?”
zhongli chuckles n childe nods
“to keep a good reputation, but i also wanted to push you, everytime u got angry and gave me attitude it only turned me on. which is why i kept going….does that answer ur question?”
n childe grunts
“u sadistic fuck!”
n zhongli laughs
“says the one who got turned on every time i public humiliated or yelled at you….”
“thats not true!!”
“uh-huh…the sexual energy u admit would become stronger and i could hear your breathing getting heavier with breathy tiny moans and u would always part ur lips slightly and rub ur thighs together and on top of that, ur eyes squint ever so slightly.”
childe was speechless bc this whole time he thought he was being slick.
“w-w-well that doesnt matter!”
childe said huffing and zhongli only chuckled and kissed his head.
“hey childe…”
“what!”
“i love you….”
childe was blushing like crazy. never in a million years did he think zhongli would say that.
“you can’t just go randomly saying those things?!!”
childe said burying his face deeper into zhonglis chest.
“b-but i love you too i guess…”
he mumbled and zhongli smirked.
“look at me.”
childe looked up into zhonglis ambers eyes embarrassed asf.
“wh-wh-what is it?”
“you’re really cute yk.”
n zhongli leaned down slightly and kissed him before he could say anything else. the end :)
thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed even though its formatted weird and kinda sorta a story. 🥰

Juniper and Pine
read it here on the AO3
A/N: Im so glad Geralt is sterile bc i hate pregnancy but love breeding kinks. I barely know anything about the witcher but I know I wanna suck this man dry like a capri sun.
Geralt of Rivia/Reader Rating: Explicit | smut, breeding, reader has a coochie and hair long enough to braid Word Count: ~2300
You found him at the inn. Shrouded in shadow, tucked away in the back just as always. Two flagons before him, one empty and the other half full. He had likely already eaten his fill.
You sat across from him, ordering your own food and drink. Neither of you spoke.
He watched you. Mostly hidden by your cloak, he watched your hands as you cut your meat and sipped your ale. Caught a glimpse of your eyes when you chanced to meet his gaze.
Tension radiated from him. The set of his shoulders, the clench of his jaw. Icy rain pelted against the nearby window. The wind groaned lowly outside.
A group of men erupted in spontaneous cheers on the other side of the inn, and he turned quickly to glare at them unnoticed before turning back to his intent study of you.
So you studied him right back. Watching him from beneath the hood of your cloak as you ate. The meat wasn’t as warm as you would have liked but it was much appreciated after your many days of travel.
He hadn’t shaved in a few days. And silver scruff was filling in along his jaw. His hair was pulled back away from his face, and you watched the crease in his forehead occasionally deepen as he considered you. He was unarmored, though he still had with him a sword smaller than the greatswords he usually traveled with. His arms were bare, his sleeves pushed up to the elbow, and his dark shirt was half unfastened down the front. He must have been unaffected by the cold winds and rain that had overtaken you on your journey.
Your plate was cleared. Your cup was empty. You handed the barkeep your coins and offered your sweetest smile. Still, they scurried away when he stood, looming behind you. He had pulled his own cloak on, and you could feel the heat of him against your back.
You walked in front, but he was leading you. As you navigated the muddy, moonlit streets, he silently directed you. A heavy wooden door, a cold dark corridor. His footsteps behind you. You stepped into the room and heard the bolt set in place.
You unfastened your cloak, folding it neatly and laying it across the back of a chair.
“You were supposed to arrive at sundown,” he said. You glanced to see him standing before the fire, eyes focused on the flames. They reflected the light like molten gold.
“I’m sorry for keeping you waiting. A storm slowed me down.” It wasn’t a lie. The weather had not been kind the last few days of your journey. You unfastened your belt, leaving it with your cloak, and pulled the plaits from your hair, combing your finger through the strands.
“Did you keep to the river?” he asked.
You hadn’t.
You were glad you were turned away from him so he couldn’t see your face. You know he had asked you to travel along the water, keeping to the valley. He was right that it was safer, but there were reasons for you to travel through the forest. Reasons he disapproved of.
Fingers shaking, you started on the lacing of your surcoat.
He stepped away from the fire, moving to stand behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist. You leaned back against him, relaxing as he pressed his nose to your hair. His hands took over for yours as he undid the lacing. You trailed your fingers over his arms.
“I smell the spruce of the mountains,” he said.
You froze.
“Juniper.” He inhaled again, breathing in the scent of the forest that you had unwittingly woven into your hair.
He loosened the last of your laces and placed his hands over yours, holding you by your wrists.
“I can smell the North on you.”
Damn witchers. Damn them and their ridiculous senses. You tried to tug away from his hold, but he held you still.
“You disobeyed me,” he said. “And then you lied to me. Your heart hasn’t stopped racing.”
The rapid beat of your heart was only partially because of your dishonesty. He just had that effect on you. Surely he would know that by now.
“Geralt-”
He spun you quickly, backing you against the wall and leaning forward until his gaze was level with yours. His knuckles pressed to your throat, forcing you to lift your chin. “I told you it’s dangerous to travel the mountains alone.”
“I had to go,” you insisted. “It didn’t take me any longer to travel, and I made it back just fine.”
“And you thought I wouldn’t know?” His voice was low, a rumbling growl right beside your ear.
“I thought it would be best to ask forgiveness than permission.” You raised your head, firm in your decision.
“Of course,” Geralt scoffed. “It was foolish of me to even try and stop you.”
“It was,” you agreed. You moved to step forward, to wrap your arms around him and bury your face in his chest. You had missed him, and you wanted to be close to him. He kept you pinned to the wall.
“I believe you were supposed to be begging for my forgiveness?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.
Your eyes widened.
“Go on then,” Geralt shoved you to your knees. “Beg.”
Your knees would surely bruise from how hard you hit the floor. You reached forward to brace yourself on his thighs. He was watching you with smug satisfaction, already reaching to remove his belts and unfasten his trousers.
You watched his hands, eager for what was to come. Your lips were already parted, tongue swiping over them unconsciously. Geralt chuckled and pulled his cock free.
You stroked him gently at first, swiping your thumb over the tip and squeezing all the way down to the base. He was so thick your fingers couldn’t meet around him, but you didn’t mind. You loved the way his hips moved as you twisted your wrist. His stomach tensed and he inhaled with a hiss.
He quickly grew bored of just your hand, though. His fingers threaded through your hair before he tugged sharply, pulling you towards his cock. You wrapped your lips around him obediently. Slowly, he pulled you farther down his length. Each movement of your tongue or lips earned you a reaction from him, and you turned your eyes up to watch his expression change.
"You're going to take it all," he said, his voice low and rough.
You moaned, eager to do exactly as he said. He rocked his hips forward at the same time he pulled you in by your hair, and you were silenced as he forced his cock down your throat.
It was rough. Punishing. Exactly what you had earned by disobeying him. You weren't sure that obedience was worthwhile when this is what you got from going against his orders. You loved the scratch of his calloused fingers against your scalp and the low moans that escaped him every time you wrapped your lips around the base of his cock. He was taking his pleasure however he wanted, selfishly fucking your mouth.
And you were dripping down your thighs with arousal. Geralt was so strong and ruthless -- but rarely with you. It was seldom you got to see him this way and you loved it. He must have missed you while you were away.
"You’re an eager little whore aren’t you,” he growled, holding you down on his cock so he could fuck your throat. “Disobedient. Stubborn. Look at you.”
Your eyes brimmed with tears, cheeks hot and flushed as you let him use you.
“I’m close,” he groaned, eyes fluttering shut and head tipping back. His pace quickened, and then faltered. You held as still as you could as he finished down your throat.
He pulled away as gently as possible, carding his fingers through your disheveled hair as you gasped and coughed. You nearly collapsed on the stone floor, but he was quick to catch you, taking you into his arms and pulling you to his chest. You let your fingers trail over the skin exposed along his collar. He pressed his lips to your hairline, carrying you to the wide, low bed that occupied the far wall. You pulled him down alongside you before he could get very far.
“I need you,” you whispered, voice raspy. He let slip one of his rare smiles, pointed teeth gleaming in the low light, and you did your best to commit it to memory.
“I can’t believe you took the mountain path in such a short amount of time,” he said, stretching out long on the bed and pulling you to lay against his chest.
“I didn’t want you to know. It only takes four days to travel through the valley.”
“Yes, and it takes six or eight to take the mountains. It’s impressive really.” His fingers absently searched out any bare skin they could reach, tracing idle shapes into your skin. “You’re nothing but trouble.”
“I keep things exciting,” you teased. “But maybe I could put in a little more work to earn your forgiveness.” You let your hand trail over his chest, across his hard stomach and back over the fasten of his trousers.
He raised an eyebrow. You could tell he was interested from the way his cock twitched beneath your palm. Sitting up, you removed the rest of your clothes. Geralt’s eyes never left you. It wasn’t until he caught sight of the glistening mess between your thighs that he moved.
He was on you before you blink, looming over your back as he pressed a hand between your legs. “I could smell that you wanted me, but I didn’t know it was this bad.” He rubbed your pussy with the pads of his fingers. “You’re so needy. Like a bitch in heat.” His voice was right in your ear, warm breath fanning over your skin.
You whined, rocking your hips against his hand. He pulled away just long enough to drag his shirt over his head and fling it away. His teeth latched onto your shoulder lightly as he pushed his trousers off as well. He pressed his cock against your ass, chuckling low as you pushed back to meet him, desperate to be filled.
“Geralt, please,” you moaned.
“Ah, so now you beg.” His voice was light and you wished you could see his smile. He settled his hands on your hips, lining himself up and sinking into you with a slow thrust of his hips. God, he was big. “You want me to breed you? To fill you up? Is that what you think you deserve?”
He was enjoying himself. He wasn’t usually so talkative, and you loved the sound of his voice in your ear as he pounded into you.
“Yes, please,” you nodded. He pressed you into the bed, pinning you beneath him and holding your hips so he could fuck you as hard as he liked. It was a blinding, delirious pleasure that you let yourself fall into, surrounded by Geralt, safe, protected.
He pulled you from your haze by reaching to press two fingers to your clit. You came almost immediately. He didn’t let up as you shook through your orgasm, clenching around his cock and crying out in pleasure.
“That’s it,” he said, never slowing the pace of his hips. “You’re going to come for me again.”
It didn’t seem possible. You were already so overwhelmed. But he changed the motion of his fingers, and you felt it building again. He was getting close as well. You could tell by the way he occasionally slowed to savor the feeling of you around him, almost immediately followed by a blinding pace as he chased his own pleasure.
His grip on your hip tightened, his teeth sinking into your shoulder once more as he rutted against you. The sharp sting of his canines made you gasp. Spurred on by his own impending orgasm, he pressed harder to your clit. Your eyes rolled back as his rough fingers, slick with your own arousal, dragged you to a second climax.
He came as you did. His hips pressed tightly against yours as you shuddered and collapsed beneath him. You could feel his cock twitching inside you, filling you with his seed.
A long moment of quiet, just the sound of your heaving breaths and the crackle of the fireplace. You melted onto the bed, stretching your limbs out long and sinking into a blissed out daze. Geralt wasn’t much better, laying half on top of you with his cock still buried inside. His breathing was evening out and you feared he would fall asleep.
“Geralt,” you mumbled half-heartedly.
“Mhm,” he responded, chest rumbling with the sound. You thought he was going to ignore you, but he moved after a second, pulling out of you with a hiss and searching for a way to clean up your mess. You rolled over, listening to your pulse gradually quiet and slow.
It wasn’t much later that you were beneath the coverlet, once again nestled against Geralt’s side as he lay still. You weren’t sure if he was sleeping, his eyes were closed and his breaths so even and slow. You admired the softness in his features that you almost never got to see. It was only at times like this that you could catch him without a stern expression.
“What are you looking at,” he asked, not opening his eyes.
“You.” You splayed a palm over his chest. “I like it when you look happy.”
“I am happy,” he said, not moving. “You make me happy.”
You were glad he wasn’t looking so he couldn’t see the effect his words had on you. Your face grew hot, and you couldn’t hide your giddy smile. Curling tighter against him, you rested your head against his chest and let your eyes drift closed. “You make me happy, too,” you whispered.

hi can you possibly do osamu, atsumu and tsukishima when they see someone hitting on their crush (not s/o,yet)? thank youu!!
ofc !! i love this req tho omg,, enjoy !! — jamie
osamu, atsumu & tsukishima when their crush is being hit on
masterlist here
request here
osamu
so osamu has been your best friend since you guys were basically in diapers gn
and you were always attending his games in inarizaki, cheering him on !!
little did you know, samu has had a crush on you for the longest time
his heart would always go ➡️↘️↙️⬅️↗️⬇️⬆️⬇️↖️↙️ whenever you attend his games and cheer the loudest for him
well ure not just a big ass crush to him
youre his best friend and he doesnt wanna ruin your precious friendship <//3
cue years of mutual pining between u two because of that sighs
even aTSUMUS growing impatient
the line between being friends and something more is coming more to a blur every time you guys see each other
like people would think you guys are a couple already because of how close you two act towards each other <//3
but on one fateful day before his vball match started u were already in the hallways, making ur way to the gym where osamus game takes place
and it just so happened a man, who is only slightly taller than you, walked up to u and rested his arm around ur sHOULDER.
u were basically panicking bc u didnt know what to do
“heya doll, what are you doing looking all pretty here ? i say i should take you out.”
your eyebrows furrowed as soon as you heard him, and before you could shove him away from u, you were already caged between the wall
and the lord rlly said ‘let osamu witness all of this’ and boom osamu was there making his way to the water fountain with atsumu and he basically just dropped his water bottle at the sight of you uncomfortably between a wall and a stranger
as soon as he locked eyes with your quivering ones he speedwalked towards the two of u and pushed the guy away from you
“you should know, ya’ shouldn’t mess with what’s not yours.”
said osamu, bringing you closer to his chest with his left arm wrapped around your waist AAAA A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A
the man took the hint and awkwardly walked away as soon as he heard those words
the two of you then made ur way back to the gym, his hand never leaving ur side
well, maybe when you started teasing him
“‘what’s not yours’ ? are you implying that someone owns me, ‘samu-samu ?”
he stopped walking, making you flinch a little at the sudden halt of movement
he cupped your cheeks and gave it a kiss NABEBWJABIAHWIEGWISBJSBFJEBDJHXJSBSJD IM DYING
“you were always mine, got it ?”
atsumu
you've known him since the beginning of high school
and you've always stood out to him !!
you always took his flirting just as a joke
friendly thing to say </3
even though he was being dead serious the whole time
but at the same time he would literally shy away from every opportunity in asking u out
u knew him well and so does he !!
just like osamu, u attended every one of atsumus vball games, cheering him on in his passion !!
honestly he would always do his best to impress u whenever you watch him practice with the inarizaki vbc
heck he would even use 1OO% of his power just !! for u !! to notice !!
whenever he flirts w u the entire team just leaves the two of u alone
bc atsumu has probably spilled about his ever growing crush on u to them
by accident
or maybe osamu was the one to spill the tea
ANYWAYS
before a match started you visited him on the bench just to check up on him real quick
but someone from the opposite team ran up to you before atsumu noticed your presence
“i’d never thought i’d meet someone so gorgeous like you here, why not you go sit there and cheer for me, yeah?”
meanwhile osamu notices the player go dangerously close to your face, and your eyes plead for help to his own
osamu points it out to his brother and iMMEDIATELY ATSUMU SPIKES A BALL TO THE GUY’S FACE
his aura is TERRIFYING
like do you know that weird yellow smoke thing that shows when the twins did their quick attack
THAT IS WHATS LITERALLY HAPPENING RN
but like you go bby <33
the guy runs back to his own team with a bruised face as tsumu spRINTS TOWARDS YOU
and LITERALLY kisses u JNSJNJKDNJNFFJ
911 i need an emergency my heart stopped beating
“sorry, just had to. i wanted to let ev’rybody know that miss y/n is mine and mine only, ‘kay?”
tsukishima
you, him, and yams have been a trio since elementary school
it was always you three in your own little world
he doesn't remember when he first started to form a crush on you
just like ?? since forever ??
but he's rlly good at hiding his feels sOBS
basically only yamaguchi knows
aND HE ACTUALLY TOLD ALL OF KARASUNO GN
but it's not too hard to figure out he has some sort of feels for you <33
he's a lot nicer to you then he is to most people oops
also is always offering to help you !!
like if your struggling with a class
mans is there to tutor you IM DYING
you don't often go to their games
and if you do it's usually cause yams invited you
bUT ONE DAY
he invited you to a game !!
and you knew it was important if he invited you so you agreed to it <33
you ended up going on the bus with karasuno to get to the arena cause you didn't have a way to get there
and as your loading the bus or wtv ,,
someone from karasuno comes up to you
wayyy too close tho </3
it was clear your uncomfortable with their advances
but they didn't seem to care
and just kEPT FLIRTING WITH YOU
clearly it was getting tsukki pissed gn
yamaguchi was trying to calm him down
it wasn't working SJSJDJ
he ended up basically glaring at the person flirting with you
before walking behind you
and pulling you into a back hug !!
SJSJS WHY CANT THIS BE ME
kinda just looks at the other guy then to you
"is there a problem here babe? this person annoying you?"
THIS GUY IS TERRIFIED
grumpy dino can be v intimidating and this was one of those moments </3
the other guy backs off and ya'll get on the bus
and the only open seats happen to be next to each other for you and tsukki COUGH COUGH
"so, babe huh?"
he just lowkey rolls his eyes and is like
"don't act like you didn't already know, you're mine, okay?"
and the otp of y/n x tsukki came true

YOU AS HARMONICA GRANGER I LOVE YOU SO MUCH
First time with Freddie - I may definitely have gone overboard and done a one shot whoops that’s whatcha get Im a whore for this oops again
Fred had spent the last indefinite minutes with his body pressing yours against the door. When he touched you, he held you like you were a porcelain doll, afraid to break you if he pulled you too hard or hurt you too soon. His lips pressed slow and plush open kisses down your neck and inching towards the strenuous texture of your collarbone, drawing goosebumps and soft breaths from you wherever his head dipped. He moaned against you, as you threaded your fingers through his fiery hair and yanking quickly. He pulled his head back up and kissed you briefly.
“Y/N, angel, are you sure? We don’t have to you know that right, you know I could kiss you to oblivion-“
“I know I just...” you slid one of your hands to one of his belt loops and pulled him, his torso almost falling onto you as he braced himself with his arm by your head. You bit your lip and teased his earlobe
“...I need you now, Freddie my love.” And that did it, he pushed his mouth onto you, you opening it just enough to let his tongue slide inside and he pulled back just inches enough to say “jump.” You did so, and wrapped your legs onto his waist as he carried you to the bed.
He looked up at you for consent and started to pull down your stockings and removing your shoes, kissing up your legs and sucking on your inner thighs. You moaned, pulling his hair and feeling a reactive groan against your skin. “Patience, darling...I want to take my time with you.” He continues to nibble at your skin as he gets to your core, sliding your panties to the side and slipping his index finger into your heat. You arch your back and he smiles at you thinking god, she is gorgeous how did I get to be with this goddess of a woman before me- and soon he’s slipping another finger inside you causing you to moan lewdly , the wet sounds and your throaty moans filling the room.
“Is this okay, Y/N, babygirl?”
“Yes, Freddie it’s so...you’re so good” he perks up kissing your clothed clit causing a small whimper as he looks at you for confirmation. “Freddie please just take them off?”
“Take what off, angel” he stroked your folds.
“Everything, fuck, take it all off.” He laughed softly at that, crawling on top of your body and pulling you up to him by your tie, bunching it in his fist, but cradling your head with his left hand. “Tell me if I’m getting to rough with you love, hmm?” You gulped and nodded, and Fred tried to kiss everything that moved. He pulled away leaving you with a small whine as he began to unbutton your shirt and kissing every section of skin where your breasts heaved and moved under his touch. You arched your back into his iron hands and he started to bite feverishly, like it were his last time alive. His hand pressed to your back nimbly unclapsed your bra and he whispered a harsh “godric, you are fucking glorious” and immediately began to bite and pull at the top of your breasts, taking a hard nipple into his mouth while he flicked and ghosted over the other one.
Your body heaved under his embrace and while you released high pitched whines of his name, you started to buck up onto him too. He moaned against your skin and got rougher with your breasts for another moment before trailing down to your core. He pulled off your skirt and, while looking at you, pulled the waistband of your panties with his mouth, discarding them across the room. He pulled your legs closer to him, kneading at the bottoms of your thighs.
“Fuck, you are...so” he pressed a kiss to one thigh. “So” to your other thigh, looked into your eyes, and began to suck on your clit “beautiful.” “Freddie, please” you writhed and moaned, his mouth attached to you murmuring sweet nothings against you, the vibrations only slicking your heat further. He finally slid his tongue in and wrapped around you, causing a tight tug to his head, eliciting a deep harsh moan from him that got sent straight up your core. You moaned his name again and begged. “What does my angel want? Use your words, Y/N”
“Freddie, please” you whined again, and he nodded, smiling he sent a finger back in you and began to thrust at a fast pace. “Love, you are so perfect wrapped around me. Come for me, Y/N, be as loud as you want, angel.” And you came undone around him, your body sent into heavenly release as you unraveled the way you needed to. You whined as he slid his finger away, but bit back a moan as he sucked it clean.
“Are you sure you want to keep going? We can stop. I promise, love I just want to make sure you’re happy.” He but his lip looking at you softly, taking in your angelic body laying on his bed ready to take his cock. You sat up on the bed, and once again pulled him towards you - but you grabbed something else instead and only barely did you ghost him that his hips started to combust.
“Y/N, love-“
“Freddie, I need you inside me right now.” You slid your hand to his clothed bulge and rested your chin on top of his v line. “Pleeeaaase?” He smiled softly shakinf his head. He held your hair and grabbed the hand that had began to pal him softly and kissed each knuckle and your palm. “You make the rules, gorgeous.” He chuckled as he placed a kiss to the top of your head. “Lean back for me, my love, okay? Relax and let me do all the work. You deserve a perfect time and I...I want to know you’re happy and okay.” You had fully leaned back as he talked to you and you mouthed at him “I love you” prompting him to speed up the removal of his clothes, his hardened cock hitting his stomach and drawing your attention there. Sensing your nervousness, he pounced on you giving you playful kisses all over your face and making you laugh, but as soon as he saw your breasts bouncing prettily in front of him he pressed a serious and deep kiss to you as he positioned himself at your entrance.
“Ready, angel?” he clasped one of your hands in his and tilted your head upwards with his chin, giving you a soft kiss. He waited until you nodded and then slid deliciously into you. You hissed at the feeling of being filled, and Fred stilled and gave you gentle kisses to your shoulders and neck, praising you and your body until you felt ready for him to move. You had felt him start to throb inside you to which you said “Freddie, please”
He pulled halfway out, and then sheathed himself back in, your body arching into him again, his hand finding your lower back to brace his angle. His rhythm was slow, and deep, but passionate at one time. He was obsessed with the way your body was rhythmically pressing up into him as he dipped further and further into you, the only sounds filling the room being your soft moans and his hoarse groans into your skin.
“Is this feeling good, gorgeous?”
“God, you’re so good Freddie, you fill me up so well” he moaned and grabbed one leg to hitch onto his hips, causing you to jerk up in pleasure as he started to course faster into you. “Like that, angel? You want more?” “Please, Freddie, give it to me good” that was all it took for him to hike your other leg up prompting a loud whine from you, skin slapping faster as he was finding ways to bring you another high, the mattress feeling a hundred feet deep as his body was delectably pushing itself into yours, sinking himself ever further in you. He felt you clench around him and threw his head back briefly in pleasure.
“Come for me, my love”
“Freddie-“
“Yes, baby, I’m right here, I’m ready for you” and with that your body sent a shockwave of heat seemingly everywhere as you again came unraveled around him, and Fred felt himself losing control as well, his thrusts and bottoming out becoming sloppy and less dutiful.
“Freddie, come inside me”
“Love, are you sure?”
“Yes, I’m so sure just please Freddie I’m gonna come again please, baby” and the feeling of your hands in his hair yanking forward and the way your legs tensed around him and the ay you begged him, had him instantly release into you, hips slowly rolling to help him ride out his high. Kissing you deeply he pulled out of you, but he rolled onto his side still holding you, he pulled one of your legs on top of his and held you close.
“Was i- was that-“ before he could say anything else, you kissed him slowly and lovingly, feeling him sigh into your mouth.
“It was, yes.” He smiled softly. “Y/N, I love you. Like this, not like thsi I just...I love you.” He cupped your cheek and rubbed it with his thumb.
“And Freddie, my love, I love you.”

pt.2 / pt.3
masterlist
"i don't like it," your best friend wore a concerned frown on her face. you shrugged. "and i don't support it."
"you don't have to," you rolled your eyes. "it's not like anyone will get hurt, it's just pretend."
"you say that now," she crossed her arms over her chest. "you used to crush pretty hard on him and i don't want you to get seriously invested, for him to break your heart."
"i won't," you stressed. "it's not like that, i'm doing him a favour," she didn't look too convinced but she couldn't do much to change your mind at this point. "besides, it's just for a few weeks."
she hummed, unconvinced. "come on! you like oscar, i don't know what your problem is?"
"you don't have to convince me of anything, this is your business," she shrugged. you felt a little hurt by her comment. you didn't talk about it again all night. you didn't like not agreeing with her about anything. it was unsettling.
-
you laughed at something your friend had said, sipping the alcohol from the cup in your hand. "i never said that!" you gawked.
he only let out a chuckle. "you were drunk! how you gonna remember what you said and what you didn't?" he teased, laughing with you as you rolled your eyes.
your eyes moved across the party to where oscar was sitting with his friends, in a similar position to you. he was laughing at something someone had said, you felt your eyes lingering for a moment.
your friend hummed, catching your stare. "how's that going?" he raised an eyebrow when he spoke.
"uh, good. i guess," you shrugged, sipping your drink again to disguise how little you had to say about him as your boyfriend. you only really saw him at parties and occasionally he'd have you 'round with his friends. other than that, you didn't see much of each other. it was weird, you felt like you saw more of him when you were just friends. now that you were pretending all the time, it didn't feel like it did before.
"good?" he frowned. "that's it? give me the juice— how is he in bed? i heard he's pretty good," he pursed his lips as he spoke. your face contorted when he brought the topic of sex up.
"where do you here these things?" you scoffed.
"you didn't answer my question," he nudged your arm. you glanced at him again, he caught your gaze this time and you quickly looked back at your friend.
"i don't know," you shrugged. "we haven't done anything yet. he wants to take it slow or something," it felt weird lying through your teeth like this. especially to one of your closest friends. also, you weren't a very good liar at the best of times and something told you that your friend didn't believe you.
"doesn't sound like the spooky i've heard about," he made a face and you shrugged again.
"you need to stop listening to these things about my boyfriend, please," you joked halfheartedly, hoping to diverge the topic of conversation.
you spent the rest of the party mainly with your friends, until later in the night when oscar grabbed your arm and pulled you aside. he took you away from your friends and his. he backed you against a nearby wall, reaching out and picking up your hands with his. he began to fidget with your fingers.
you gulped, it was weird being this close to him still and having him treat you like this. you'd been friends for so long it was weird seeing this side of him.
"you good?" he mumbled. you nodded, letting out a soft smile. "i saw you talking to your friend earlier."
you hummed. "yeah," you shrugged. "he was asking me about you."
oscar wore a smile when you said this, breathing a laugh. "oh yeah?" you nodded, mimicking his smile. you could talk to oscar like this no problem, it was the intimacy you were getting used to. "that's why you couldn't keep your eyes off me, huh?"
"ha-ha," you teased, rolling your eyes. "you're just so attractive, it's hard to look away," you raised an eyebrow, teasing him. he nudged your stomach with his elbow, you hurled over a little and laughed.
"shut up," his hands moved to your neck, his thumbs rubbing against your jaw line. it was kind of comforting having him touch you like this. and even if this was just for show, it proved what you always knew deep down— that oscar was a softie. "i'm gonna kiss you now, ok?"
you stiffened a little, he stepped closer, pushing you further up against the wall. your breath caught in your throat a little but still you nodded. you knew this was part of the deal but still, this was the first time of you'd kissed each other. and it was in a very public place.
before you could voice your uneasiness, he leaned down a little and pressed his lips against yours. you were caught a little off guard, but still you kissed him back. his hands roamed down to your waist where he pressed you against the wall. you gasped a little as he did so, allowing his tongue to slip into your mouth. your hands moved to the nape of his neck, pulling his body closer to yours.
you had to pull away after a while to catch your breath, your chest rising and falling pretty heavy when you did. "do you think she was looking?" something felt wrong, him asking about his ex-girlfriend after he'd just made out with you. but that's exactly what you were doing it for. so he could get his ex-girlfriend to notice them and realise what a mistake she'd made.
your hands dropped to your sides, tilting your head to the side a little to try and get a glimpse of his ex. which you did, she was staring daggers at you. you couldn't help but laugh a little at the look on her face. your eyes moved back to oscars face, snickering.
"what?" he smiled, mimicking the expression on your face.
"you know the expression, if looks could kill?" he wore a smug smile and nodded. "well, i'd be dead."
you both laughed together, his face nestling into your neck for a second. you continued to laugh, ignoring the feeling in your stomach. you were beginning to think that maybe you should've listened to your best friend.
"that's good though, right?" you spoke up after you'd both calmed down a bit. "that's what we're after. pure jealousy and hatred— oh my god, what if she tried to scrap with me over you? do you think she would do that?" your eyes widened when you thought about it. you weren't much of a fighter. you left that up to oscar.
he chuckled at the expression on your face. "nah, i won't let her touch you," it was nice to know he was still protective of you as his friend.
"good, i'll hold you to that," you mumbled, smiling a little now.
"come on," he grabbed your hand and began to pull you back to the rest of the party. you stopped him before he got too far, his eyebrows furrowed when he looked back at you.
something had been playing on your mind since your conversation with your friend before. "hey, you'd have sex with me right?"
he let out a laugh, raising his eyebrows. that didn't reassure you much, you frowned and punched his shoulder. "what kind of question is that?"
"don't laugh about the thought of having sex with me! that's so mean," you gawked at him. "i just meant, if you weren't my friend and you didn't know me, would you think i'm pretty enough to have sex with?"
he couldn't help chuckling, you'd caught him off guard with the question. it didn't reflect how he really felt about it. "yeah— absolutely. you're hot, y/n. you don't need me to tell you that."
you hummed, shrugging your shoulders. "ok," you carried on walking. "that makes me feel better."
"why?"
"no reason," you glanced at him with a smile. "just wanted to hear you say it," you teased, joking as he shook his head.
"loca," he rolled his eyes.
"shut up."

Can I have a concept where reader forgets her glasses, so Spencer lends her his, and he thinks she looks adorable AF but is too nervous to say anything as they're not dating yet, until Morgan convinces him to say something. (either baby or post prison Spence please!) 🥑
okay obviously im going with baby spence bc i have a type and its baby spence
also for the sake of this fic we’re gonna assume they have the same prescription :)
----
You were tearing your desk apart, looking under every single sheet of paper and behind every picture frame. You had already upended your purse to no avail, and you were starting to loose hope. Spencer walked up to his desk across from yours, taking off his satchel and observing your frantic motions.
“What are you looking for?” He asked, sliding into his chair.
“My glasses.” You answered, and then gave a resigned sigh and sat down. “I think I left them at home, though.”
“Oh! I think I have a pair in my desk. You wear +1.25 in each eye right?” He said, already digging through his drawers.
Your eyebrows raised in shock, “I- Yeah. I do.” You knew he remembered everything but sometimes it shocked you the little details about you he knew. Repeating a mantra you had going on for several months now, you thought It doesn’t mean anything. He’s a literal genius. He didn’t remember it because you’re special. Having a crush on someone like him was hard, because it was impossible to tell if he was doing things because he liked you or just because he was Spencer.
“Here they are!” He pulled his glasses from his desk, the pair you had seen him wear on the infrequent days that he forgot his contacts or couldn’t be bothered with them. You slipped them on and everything came into focus, the papers in front of you finally reading words and not blurs. You beamed at him.
“Thank you so much.” You immediately got to work, and failed to notice the way Spencer stared at you. He was mesmerized by how you looked in his glasses. He already thought you were ridiculously cute, but seeing you sit there with his own glasses on and a scrunched up face while you concentrated was nearly too much for him.
The day went on, and you made your usual small talk and discussions about cases, all while Spencer was panicking because of how you looked. It made his mind wander to what you would look like in his clothes. If he lent you a coat, or you stole his hoodie, or you slipped on his tshirt instead of your own. He felt like he was going crazy, feeling a bit possessive and a lot creepy thinking about you in those scenarios.
Towards the end of the day, he was in the break room making what had to be his eighth cup of coffee, and trying not to stare at you. You were pouring over files from their last case, making sure everything in the report was perfect, and he thought it was the best you ever looked. Concentrating, focused, eyebrows furrowed slightly. You were a picture of intelligence and you were wearing his glasses.
“What’re you looking at?” Morgan asked from behind him, making him jump and nearly spill his coffee.
“I-I wasn’t- I just-” Spencer stuttered, but Morgan was already following his eye line to see you there, sitting in Spencer’s glasses.
“Oh, I see.” Morgan laughed, wrapping an arm around Spencer and clapping him on the shoulder. “You like how [Y/N] looks in your glasses, huh?” He teased. Spencer blushed furiously and turned away, breaking his eye line with you and brushing Morgan off.
“She left hers at home.” He tried to defend, but he knew it was weak. Morgan chuckled at him.
“Just tell her she looks cute. She’ll appreciate it!”
“She’ll think I’m creepy.” Spencer sighed, stirring his coffee. He had thought so many times about asking you out, but he knew you were only nice to him because you had to be. He couldn’t imagine a world where someone like you would go after someone like him.
“She’ll think you’re sweet. Now, go.” Morgan encouraged, pushing him out of the break room. Spencer stared at you from the other side of the bullpen, and tried to think about what Morgan said. Maybe he should just go for it. Maybe one compliment wouldn’t kill him. He took a deep breath and walked up to your desk with a sense of false bravado.
“You look really cute in my glasses.” He said quickly. You looked up at him, shocked. Your mouth hung open a little and before you could respond, Spencer was regretting his decision. “N-Not that you don’t always look cute! Or that I’ve been looking at you, or that you need me to look cute or-”
“Spence.” You cut him off. He made eye contact with you again and saw you were smiling slightly. “Do you really think so?” You asked shyly. It was his turn to drop his jaw, as he tried to figure out how you could possibly not see it. You pushed the glasses up the bridge of your nose and his heart thumped in his chest.
“I- yea. Of course I do.” He reassured. You smiled brightly.
“Thank you.” You said quietly, tucking a piece of hair behind your ear. Spencer wrung his hands together and sat down at his desk, trying and failing not to watch you. You seemed to contemplate something for a moment beforee you dropped your pen and looked up at him. “Would you like to get dinner with me tomorrow after work?” you asked.
His eyebrows jumped up his forehead. It’s not like they hadn’t hung out outside of work before, but you had never asked him this formally. It felt....different somehow. “Y-yea. Sure.” He answered with a smile. You smiled back at him.
“Great. It’s a date.”

no cause I need to talk about the potential of dsmp!basti or my head will literally explode I’m serious.
so, canonically, the real event Minecraft Mondays is referred to as “The Monday Massacres” in dsmp. a massacre generally refers to a mass killing, commonly in very brutal ways, implying to me, that either civilians - people watching the events - or participants went down in numbers during the events, grotesquely dying to each other’s hands.
basti, as well as quite a few dsmp members, participated in minecraft mondays (as well as minecraft saturdays). in a few of techno’s mcm vods, he makes one or two remarks on basti, saying that he doesn’t know who he is, but he knows that he’s pretty good. mcm 11 is actually one where technoblade lost his number 1 individual placement to basti’s temporary team mate aqua, but got his place on the top podium back quite fast. now, what is my takeaway for my dsmp-related hc for this? easy, technoblade was a player in the monday massacres, feared for his abilities, and in relation to it being a massacre, his lust for blood. basti also participated with his original team mate Papaplatte, and slowly became a worthy oppenent to techno. unlike the real life circumstance of papaplatte going on a vacation during mcm 11, and because we need more casualties for this to be a convincing massacre, because the people of dsmp who were all in mcm are obviously still alive (except for wilbur, kinda), i say that c!papaplatte died and then aqua teamed up with basti to break techno’s record and push him off his high horse. now, you know techno, you’ve probably seen the potato war trilogy, he wouldn’t let a single failure be stenciled on his persona for eternity, so he trained hard, and took down basti for good, killing both him and aqua (and I know it makes no sense with mcm continuity but i like to pick and chose what i consider for my headcanons okay), becoming the best player once again.
and what happens to c!basti after gruesomely dying? unsure, honestly, but his body being robbed of his wealth goes hand in hand with the disturbing nature of the Monday Massacres. the mcms 12 (one after 11) and 13 (when cc!basti returned to mcm) happen around august/september 2019. bad discovers the egg in december 2020. while at the moment im unsure how the passage of time is warped in dsmp compared to when events happen in streams, but i’m positive it makes events in canon last longer than they do in streams (do correct me if i’m wrong). so, either the old villa of sir billiam still stood back then, belonging to a new, shitty rich man, who the people finding c!basti’s body sold it to for a few diamonds, so it could be fed to the egg. or, they had dignity and gave him a proper burial, and the bloodsoaked body came in contact with underground vines that pulled the body toward the egg so it could devour it. but, i don’t think it just ate basti’s body - i think the egg is actively hosting the body, having healed and re-grown it, waiting for it to be ready to hatch.
it seems very out of pocket, and like im trying to shoehorn my favourite streamer into dsmp, but i have a nice parallel that goes with him being in the egg.
on the very left is the skin, that basti worse during the mcm era, or at least around mcm 11/12/13. he’s had a few skin changes between left and middle, but the all white skin came with him hitting 500k and releasing special occasion badlion client cosmetics for his viewers. those included a cape, shield, and wings. butterfly wings, to be exact.
the shape of these wings would also carry over into Zickzack v2 (the cosmetics line is called zickzack, which is a word that basti’s associated with largely through a pvp project, but he’s been using it for a pretty long time)
but, currently, we are on zickzack v3. and zickzack v3 is special, because...
they’re a red edition, going perfectly with the theme of the egg, and references to blood and violence (the skin he’s wearing in my current pfp is a temporary v3 skin btw, i like it bc it looks like the red is slowly soaking up his skin, it’s a nice gradient). so, over time, after mcm, basti is taking up the appearance of a red butterfly, as though he’s slowly becoming one. as though he is turning into one, inside the egg. and ik it’s an egg, but hey, it may as well be a weird shaped cocoon.
another point i want to bring up at the end, though you have to take my word here, is that cc!basti can be pretty damn determined to prove a point when he’s sure he knows something (/lh). like, let me tell you that one time, during a minecraft challenge he got mining fatigue on the highest possible level, and went “btw guys you can actually break blocks with mining fatigue, it’s a myth that you can’t. i’ll show you.” and proceeded to place an obsidian block, take out a stone pickaxe and mine it. and he mined it until hsi effect went away and he had no more way of proving his point but to tell people that it is in fact possible.
and well. if c!basti is determined like his counterpart, determined enough to prove he is the best player and the best fighter in the world, and if he’s determiend enough to get revenge on techno, then maybe he’ll sit out egg time for that. btw disclaimer cc!basti isn’t as win-focused as i made his counterpart seem just now gdgs just saying that bc i dont want there to be misconceptions about him.
#tw death#tw blood#long post#i say in teh pot im not jsut showhorning basti in here but actually im jsut showhorning basti in here fsdfs#springble#dsmp headcanon#the egg#bastighg

request: Angst with no happy ending? How abt *insert actor/character* getting married and their ex (the reader) kinda 'forcing herself' to go to the wedding bc she really wants to see their mutual friends again but like doesn't wanna see the wedding. And reader just watching the love of their live get married and be happy with someone else and their heart silently being ripped apart? Too cruel?
pairing: ex!luke patterson x reader
word count: 2.1K
warnings: heartbreak, no happy ending
a/n: here you go cruel anon. turns out im not that great at heartbreak but hopefully this makes your heart crack a little bit. (also idk if people read authors notes but my requests are currently closed!)
Y/N thought back on all the times she could have turned around. When she was getting into her car. When she reached the airport. When she queued to board the plane. When she checked into her hotel. When she began to get ready. Now she was facing the very last time she could turn around. Stood outside the venue, all dressed up with no one to walk her inside. But just like the times before, she didn’t turn around, she pushed on. Her heart breaking a little more with each step, she knew that surely by the end of the night there would be nothing left but crumbs. She had promised herself two things before this trip. Number one; she would not speak to him. Number two; she would not cry. She wasn’t entirely sure she would be able to keep either of the promises to herself, but repeating them in her head made her feel that little bit calmer.
She situated herself beside a table lined with drinks, helping herself to a flute of champagne. She was anxious for the doors to be opened so she could find a seat, somewhere in a corner at the back would suit her just fine. Out of sight of anyone who would surely recognise her, she had no intentions of engaging in conversation until the reception. But seeing as what was happening today she should have known it would be her unlucky day.
“Well aren’t you a sight for sore eyes,” a voice speaks beside her and she turns, landing eyes on someone she had not seen for far too long. His suit was tailored perfectly to his body, his long hair tied in a bun at the back of his head. “I wasn’t sure you’d come.” He pulls her into a hug.
“I wasn’t sure I would either,” she admits as she pulls away, “I wasn’t going to, but I wanted to see everyone...most people.”
Willie laughs softly, “I’m glad you’re here, sit beside me?” He asks, motioning with his head towards the doors that were being pulled open.
“Oh, I was just gonna sit in the back,” she stumbles over her words as Willie takes ahold of her hand, “Aren’t you going to sit with Alex?”
“He’s preoccupied.” Willie states simply, ignoring her protests as he pulls her towards the front of the room to take a seat in the front row.
She sighs as she sits down beside him. The sick feeling in her stomach growing as the room slowly became more and more full, people lining up on the benches and getting ready to watch the ceremony.
Willie reaches down and takes ahold of her hand again, giving it a light squeeze and offering a comforting smile, “You don’t have to stay.” He whispers.
“I do.” She nods, “I want to see everyone, I won’t stay all day but I need to at least say hello now I’m here.”
Willie nods his head, squeezing her hand one last time and patting her knees before turning back to face forward, the ceremony would be starting any minute and she found that her eyes were glued to the pattern on the floor.
For the entirety of the ceremony she didn’t look up. She didn’t want to risk meeting his eyes, didn’t want to see her friends sympathetic looks and definitely didn’t want to see the bride looking beautiful in her white dress. She tried her best not to listen, she couldn’t stomach hearing the vows and knew if she heard the words I do in his voice she’d cry. So she thought about anything else but what was happening in front of her.
She finally looked up when the couple was safely past her line of sight, eyes instantly meeting that of an old blonde friend. He gave her a wave, she was sure the smile was supposed to make her feel better but she just felt more pathetic. Why was she even here? She’s sure the invite was out of politeness and not an actual invitation to come. And if her friends were going to be tiptoeing around her and treating her like a porcelain doll she wasn’t sure she could cope. The nicer people were to her about this the more likely it was she would break down.
She didn’t want to think about it, about him, sure she was at his wedding but that didn’t mean this day had to be about him. She wanted to have a catch up with her friends, avoid her ex the whole night and then go back home, cry with a bottle of wine and forget this whole thing ever happened.
“I’m glad you came.” Alex says as he reaches her, pulling her into a hug, “It’s good to see you.”
“Yeah, it’s good to see you too.” She responds truthfully, “Can we go to the reception? I think I need a drink already.”
Alex laughs, taking Willies hand in his own and leading the way towards the after party. The amount of people that were there she was sure she would be able to avoid the groom for the night. She found herself situated on a table with her friends, helping herself to a glass of wine and making sure the bottle was kept close to her.
No matter how excited she was to see her friends she found that now she was here she was finding it hard to hold a conversation. The group around her were still familiar with each other, still seeing each other and having things to talk about, she felt a little like a spare part. But still she smiled along and listened to their conversation. Something about a recent party they had attended where Reggie had drank a little too much, she laughed along with them unsure of what else to do. The more they spoke and tried to involve her in the conversation the more she realised she didn’t really know the people around her anymore. Sure she had good memories with them and she would always consider them her friends, but she didn’t really know them.
The best thing about weddings it that you can be invisible if you wanted to be. The bride and groom were always busy, everyone wanting to talk to them and congratulate them, and the drunker the guests got the easier it was to slip away from conversations and merely watch the scenes unfold. Which is exactly what she did. She watched her friends get drunk and progressively louder, not noticing anymore if she wasn’t joining in their conversation. If the night continued this way she was certain she would make it out in one piece.
She thought she was doing a pretty good job of avoiding the one person she feared seeing the most. But halfway through the night a hand landed on her shoulder and a familiar scent filled her nose. She felt her skin ignite where his fingers touched and she begged the butterflies in her stomach to go away, to fly away and disappear forever.
Turning in her seat she finally meets his eyes for the first time that night, forcing a smile onto her face as she stands up and allows him to pull her into a hug. Her heart hammers in her chest and she uses every ounce of will power within her to not shed any tears, she felt the epitome of pathetic. Wanting to cry at a wedding like she was in a bad romcom movie. Only if this were a movie she’d get the guy, or a second guy would come sweep her off her feet and make her forget the first one was ever there. She didn’t see that happening anytime soon.
“Thanks for coming.” Luke smiles, “You look great, that colour really suits you.”
She returns his smile with a tight lipped one of her own, “Thanks, you don’t look too bad yourself.” She attempts a light hearted laugh.
She looked away, she couldn’t stand looking into his eyes any longer, his gaze intense and stirring way too many different emotions inside of her. She wanted him to be horrible to her, to tell her to leave and never come back, not to tell her she looks great. How was she ever supposed to get over him when he was nothing but nice to her all the time. She wished he had done something at the end to allow her to hate him. Cheat on her maybe, or tell her he never loved her, then maybe she’d stand a tiny chance of getting over him and moving on with her life. Instead he was selfish and kept her at arms length because he knew he always could and that should have been enough for her to stay away, but she just couldn’t.
“Congratulations,” she looks back at him, eyes settling just above his to avoid his gaze, “You seem really happy, I wish you all the best.”
“Thanks,” he smiles and it’s genuine, something which breaks her heart a little more.
Of course she wants him to be happy, but a bigger part of her wants him to be happy with her and not anyone else. She knows that’s selfish, but that doesn’t stop her from trying to wish it into existence no matter how futile she knows it is.
“Have you met Jess?” He asks, placing a hand on her shoulder as though about to lead her somewhere.
“Oh, no I haven’t but she looks busy,” she quickly shrugs his hand off, the bride she could see from the corner of her eye, laughing at something another guest had said, “I’ll introduce myself later.” She lies.
The only thing she could think that would be worse than this wedding was having to actually meet the bride. To meet her replacement, the better version. The one who had stolen his heart and been worth enough to keep it forever. She forces a smile and excuses herself to the bathroom.
As she reaches the bathroom she can feel her eyes stinging, shutting herself in a cubicle she fans her face, determined not to let a single tear fall. She had made a promise to herself and the least she could do was keep it. She leant her head back against the door, letting out a shaky breath to compose herself.
Once she was sure she wouldn’t cry she exited the bathroom again, thankful to see that he was no longer at the table she had just ran from. She took her seat and no one asked where she had been or if she was okay, she was glad for that at least.
As the night wore on she thought she was doing okay, one little hiccup but no tears since, she’d even found herself genuinely laughing at a couple points. He’d spoken to her and she hadn’t thrown up on his shoes, he had no reason to try and speak to her again.
But then it was time for the first dance and she felt her chest tightening. Her calm composure being over taken by a sinking feeling of dread. She watched for a minute, watched him hold her close and smile. Watched him lean in to kiss her gently before spinning her under his arm and pulling her back in. She wished more than anything that it was her in his arms, her who he still looked at like the world shone behind her eyes. But it would never be her again, and his bride she was sure was far more beautiful than she could ever hope to be.
She watched as more dancers joined the floor, her friends among them. She tried to smile, but the sight was too much for her. Her friends laughing and dancing with their loved ones while she sat on the side lines and watched feeling like a stranger. The slow music a melancholy soundtrack to her emotions, reminding her of something she could never have.
She stands from the table, dragging her eyes over each person she knew, lingering on Luke for a moment longer before she turned and walked out of the room. She knew that this would be the last time she ever saw him, because she knew seeing him happy with someone else would be a slow form of torture. So she walked away, from him, from her friends forever, leaving whatever little pieces were left of her heart behind. By the time she exited the building she felt nothing more than a hollow shell and she finally let the tears fall.

🍒 Okay tub time with Kix? 😗👌🏻 Exquisite. So good. Where do i find such a caring man ugh and a clean bathtub chores suck
New Cherry Thot of the Week… This one’s hella self-indulgent but don’t worry bestie, i’m dragging you along for the ride too… Picture it: The Marauder, 19 BBY (did i spend 3 minutes looking that up for this dumb joke? yeah…) Somehow, you and I have joined up with the Bad Batch on some kind of mission. Details don’t matter because the important thing is we’re sharing a tiny spaceship with 5 hunks. 🥰 But obvs we have our favorites… I’m going with Wrecker for you (i know you love Hunter too, but just hear me out, this thot has a purpose) and Crosshair for me.
But here’s the thing. We somehow figure out they like us back (maybe Tech spills the beans), AND they have a bet going… Who can win us over first? Because these 2 are always competing over something with each other right?
And like hot damn, but also ohh there’s so much we can do with this info 😈 We both start teasing our respective guys, leading them on a little, not giving in to their flirting or anything so they can’t say they’ve won the bet for a while. They get more frustrated. More… pent up… And… well… so do we…
Uh oh. Maybe we can’t play this much longer. Maybe one day it’s too much, and one of us races to our crush prepared to just kiss them silly, only to find they had the same idea. And then afterward we try to find the other, and discover they couldn’t hold out with their guy either 🙈 And maybe it’s awkward, maybe Wrecker and Crosshair argue over who actually won forever, but it was kinda weirdly fun anyway. We’re happy, and happy for each other. /EndofSappyStory 🍒
cherry. my love. my life.
this might be the best thing that you have ever gifted me holy fuck the way i BLUSHED while reading this??? whooooooo jesus i love this so much!!! 😭 okay lots to unpack here:
1. excellent golden girls reference again. made me giggle and i appreciate the research tech would be proud of u hehe
2. you and i being bffs in this thot made me so happy aw
3. EXCELLENT CHARACTER CHOICE FOR US OMFG i couldn't stop thinking about the "don't worry wrecker you'll top him next time" "no he wOnT" while reading bc omfg those lines applied to this kind of bet????? AAAAHHHHH IM HAVING A CRISIS
i'm gonna write this in sections, actual encounters with the boys happen in sections 3 and 4 with our sexy murder toothpick man being up first! also this is gonna be pre-omega but post-echo joining the batch
self indulgent filth and fluff in the form of some reader insert thots below ;)
18+ as always kiddies. i really hope you enjoy! this was so fun to write
section 1: the bet
so i imagine this happening right after you guys joined the squad
and it certainly didn't take long for crosshair and wrecker to realize their feelings for you two beautiful women, although one was more brazen about his feelings than the other
one day when hunter had sent you and your friend into a market to pick up a short list of supplies, they got to talking
crosshair made an offhand remark about his girls’ ass which made wrecker fidget, he never was very composed when it came to pretty girls and this caused all the other members of the batch share knowing looks and smirks
“wrecker if you’re trying to be discreet about your feelings for ___ you’re going to have to do stop fidgeting.” tech noted, rolling his eyes when wrecker started stuttering out excuses but he was cut off by echo
“give ‘im a break. at least he isn't as vulgar as crosshair”
“you’re just jealous she doesn't flirt with you, mir'osik” (i had to search up insults in mando’a and this one means shit for brains and when i tell you i died laughing okay anyways sorry)
this made echo roll his eyes, deciding it wasn't worth it to fight over whatever stupid insult the sniper threw at him
wanting to stir the pot juuust a bit, hunter proposed a challenge for his vod. he should be the good influence on his brothers, but he couldn't help but want to see where these crushes would take them
he could hear the girls’ heartbeats intensify around their respective crushes anyways, so he had a pretty good feeling that they felt the same about his batch mates
“don’t know about the rest of you, but i want to see who can win his girl over first” this was met with a smirk from crosshair, a blush from wrecker, and side glances shared between echo and tech
“easy.” crosshair drawled, he knew he had this in the bag
he may be quieter than the others but boy was he was observant, taking note of the way her words had a hard time flowing out of her pretty mouth when he was in close proximity of his girl
wrecker on the other hand didn’t want to make her uncomfortable, in his eyes she was just so sweet. innocent, really. she wouldn’t want the same treatment he knew crosshair had in mind for his girl
the peering eyes of his squad made the large man cave with a sigh, “fine.”
section 2: the slip up
weeks had gone by since the boys established their little competition and you, your friend, and tech were working on some small repairs around the ship
you and your friend had noticed some increased...flirting from your respective guys
crosshair paid more compliments and lingering touches that seemed genuine
and wrecker flirted the best way he knew how; lifting too heavy objects and reaching for items in the tall cargo holds, handing them down with a gentle smile
tech, being the most blunt member of the squad, commented on the whispers you exchanged, dropping a surprising truth on both of your ears:
“well of course they are trying to flatter you. how else do you settle a bet to win each of you over the fastest?”
tech watched the two women freeze before him, sharing shocked looks before turning their attention to him, realization hit his gut like a crate of durasteel, and he swallowed under your stern gazes
“what do you mean, goggles?”
“they...like us?”
tech’s cheeks burned red hot, was his brow beginning to sweat? maker, it felt like it
this was the one time he didn’t feel like explaining himself, instead choosing to coyly excuse himself from the two pairs of watchful eyes
he left you and your friend to stare at each other before both rolling your eyes, “well now we know who spills secrets the easiest” your friend chuckled, shaking her head
after a few moments of silence you both spoke up, deciding there wasn’t that much harm in playing along with the two members of the batch. you were fond of them, after all
you both continued chuckling about the situation, mostly out of disbelief that the flirting and teasing wasn’t just a hopeful facade your minds made up
once the repairs were completed, you both retired to opposite ends of the ship, minds full of deliberation of how you would handle this new information
section 3: the gunport
you were sat in the gunport, musing the situation you found yourself in, hands picking at your fingernails in an effort to curb your nerves
on one hand you didn’t want to ruin the bond you had with the marksman
what if he was just flirting out of pure boredom? there isn’t much to do in a confined ship like this anyways, he might as well pass the time flirting with a woman in his general vicinity
but it just had to mean something
no way the whispered compliments - most of them accompanied with a wink, no less - meant absolutely nothing to him
you decided that you had enough, this was going to eat you alive if you didn't get to the bottom of what was going on in that head of his
with a huff, you stood straight and turned around to exit the space
but you were met with a silver haired man climbing up the ladder
you both froze, both internally freaking out at the basically forced confrontation
oh gods what is he doing up here? did he read my mind??
...shit what do i do i forgot everything i was going to say to her
you nervously chuckled, figuring that you were going to go talk to him anyways so might as well get this over with
“crosshair... um i need to ask you something”
“no, i need to tell you something cyar’ika. i’m tired of sitting here and watching you walk around all day, not being able to show you how i feel.”
now that left you speechless, mouth slightly hanging open in shock to which he deeply chuckled at, “hope this isn't the first time i leave you speechless.”
there it was, that smug attitude that made you roll your eyes but also ignited a heat in your lower abdomen
with a smirk, you decided to play it back to him. two can play at this game, lanky
“well it’d be pretty rude to not demonstrate what you had in mind, trooper”
this was the green light crosshair needed, quickly heaving himself up the last few rungs of the ladder, his hands immediately finding your waist and snatching you close, pressing a firm kiss to your lips
your hands flung up to catch the sides of his sharp cheeks, humming at the feel of his scruff under your palms as you coyly push your tongue through his lips, hoping he’ll welcome your tongue into his mouth
he does, and you are exploring each other in the most delicious way, causing soft moans and sighs to leave both of you
while you were entranced by crosshair’s mouth on yours, you didn't realize he was pushing you back onto the chair of the gunport until you were sat down and he was kneeling in between your legs, his nimble fingers clutching your thighs and hips
in a matter of minutes crosshair had managed to get your bottoms completely off, your slick panties hooked on one ankle, and your thighs over his shoulders
for a man who could run his mouth, he sure proved it
expert fingers entered your weeping cunt while his tongue prodded your bundle of nerves with sharp, quick strokes
he’s beaming at the way you’re trying to support yourself on shaky arms and trapping his head to your cunt with the backs of your calves, the sight of your head thrown back and the whimpers coming out of your mouth making him harder than he had been in a looong time
his fingers and mouth brought to your orgasm quick and hard, nearly screaming his name as your toes curled in bliss
he took his time in working you through it, making sure he could draw it out. he could get used to this.
when you can finally open your eyes and look him in the eye, you’re kissing him again, enjoying the moan he lets out at the feel of your tongue tasting yourself on him
you decide it’s his turn, and you’re pushing him into your previous spot, smiling at the way his eyes slightly widen at the way you took charge
crosshair wants to say some sexy remark, something that he knows will get you to sheepishly smile and look away but he can’t, not with the sight of you sinking down to your knees and slowly pulling down his blacks, keeping eye contact and granting him a playful glint in your eye
you can't help but want to tease him just a bit, running your tongue over the bulge in his blacks
he tries his hardest to not be loud but maker, is he loud when you finally take him into your mouth and down your throat
you’ve quickly found that he enjoys eye contact while in this vulnerable state, nearly shaking when he sees your eyes brimming with tears trying not to choke on his length
one hand sneaking down to alternate cupping his balls is what pulls him over the edge, crying out with your name living on his tongue
you swallow his release, again utilizing eye contact to your benefit and drawing out another prolonged moan from him
it makes you smile in pride, loving how this hard, unyielding man turned into such a mess while you had your way with him
crosshair pats his lap and expectantly looks at you, waiting for you to perch up onto his lap, straddling him
despite being a skinnier guy, crosshair wraps you up in the warmest, most secure-feeling snuggle you have honestly ever experienced
after sharing such an intimate moment with you, he began whispering sweet nothings into your ear, about how gorgeous he thinks you are, how much he cares for you
it’s honestly kind of shocking but welcome nonetheless, cross can be kind when he wants to and you are very glad that this was the outcome of your dancing around each other for months
section 4: the interruption
you retreated back to your room, honestly just wanting to sleep and get your mind off the day
it was becoming harder and harder to not just pounce on wrecker, but you didn't want to just give it up so quickly
and to be honest, you had a bad feeling that tech was full of it
you struggled with self esteem issues for as long as you could remember, so it was difficult to believe the 'genious’ of the batch when he said that wrecker had feelings for you
despite your trepidations, your mind couldn't stop thinking about him, his broad shoulders, toned arms, huge thighs...
your hand slithered down your torso, slipping underneath the waist band of your bottoms and slowly circling your clit as images of wrecker effortlessly lifting anything that crossed his path filled your mind, honestly wishing it was you he was lifting
perhaps lifting you to brush your pussy on his nose, his tongue exploring your womanhood enough to make you shout his name
but apparently that last part was not all in your head
although you didn't shout it, wrecker definitely heard the way you whispered out his name in a moan in the dark room
he really hadn’t meant to barge in, but after a few knocks with no answer he began to worry
he came by to tell you how he felt with absolutely no expectation of sleeping with you. truthfully, he gave up on trying to get into your pants, he was willing to lose the bet with crosshair, he knew he wasn’t as smooth as his brother anyways
while he obviously would never be opposed to making love with you, he figured that you deserved to be courted beforehand, and he thought there was no way you’d want to share your body in such an intimate way with somebody like him
but the sight he was greeted with was enough to prove himself wrong
you, spread out on your bed with your hand moving diligently under your thin lounge shorts and you moaning his name made him subconsciously let out a loud gasp
that you absolutely heard, eyes snapping open and hand coming to an abrupt halt, ripping out from under your bottoms
“wr-wrecker! what are you doing here?!”
“i- uhhh- i didn’t see anything! erm, i'm sorry, mesh’la”
by now you had your blankets covering you, despite being fully clothed, and were looking at him with mortified eyes
wrecker still stood in the doorway, unsure if he should let this opportunity pass him by
if you had told him to leave he would, he’d do anything you said, but the fact that you made no move to force him into leaving made him linger
“i'm...sorry if im overstepping mesh’la but i just- i can't stop thinking about you. and well,” he gestured to your form, still cradling the blankets to your heaving chest, “i think you think about me too”
of course you couldn't deny it, he had just seen you pleasuring yourself and moaning his name, what the hell kind of excuse could you come up with? none, that's what
his sheepishness made your heart soar, realizing he probably was just as nervous as you
deciding to cut him some slack, you slowly rose up, blanket falling to the ground as you sauntered over to his frozen frame
whispering, “you're right. do- do you want to stay?”
you had the poor man at a loss for words, eagerly nodding at your proposition and allowing you to take his hand and lead him to your bed, pushing him down so you could straddle his lap
his large cock bulging through the thin fabric of his blacks and pushing against your already hot cunt made you cry out
pure adrenaline coursed through both of you, hushed moans leaving your mouths as you steadily ground down onto him, his hand tangled in your hair and the other kneading your breast
your lips broke away from his mouth and you smirked at the look on his face, absolutely fucking giddy that this was finally happening, he had been dreaming about this moment since he first saw you
the sounds he made while you sucked on the sensitive skin of his neck encouraged you to slip a small hand down the front of his blacks and pull his thick cock out, heat flooding your body at the hiss he let out when you started slowly jacking him off
your legs were in the perfect position for him to push your shorts down and over your ass, fingers picking up where you left off and circling your clit, working you open to take one of his massive fingers
the more you squeezed his throbbing shaft, the louder wrecker became
and not wanting anybody to hear you two fooling around, you glued your mouth to his, tongues mingling in heat
the excitement of the entire situation made it not last very long overall, but you both had intense orgasms regardless
wrecker curled his - now two - fingers inside you just right, and your continued squeezes and strokes of his cock made him finish, his cum coating your palm
both of you were shaking, muffled groans and gasps filled the room until you were coming down from your simultaneous orgasms
after coming back down to the moment, wrecker chuckled and flopped down on his back, bringing you with him to crash onto his chest
you both giggled like a couple of smitten teenagers who were experiencing their first love, relishing in the butterflies in your stomachs, we just did that
“been waiting a long time to do that, doll” wrecker’s big hands rubbed up and down your curves, closing his eyes and smiling at your laugh, “i know”
his head shot up at that, “you know?” the way his eyebrows furrowed up made your chest tighten with admiration, smiling cheekily down at him, “of course i do. tech told us gals.” you leaned down to place a peck on his chin, “you think you won the bet?”
“dunno. but I feel like i just won the entire galaxy.”
it honestly didn't make much sense in your post-orgasm daze, but the endearing tone made you smile and kiss him once again
section 5: the hallway
after your respective encounters with your boys, you ran to your friend, bumping into her in the hallway, the tight space echoing your giggles and shrieks of excitement throughout the entire ship
you both were so flustered and giddy that you were talking over each other, just needing to tell her about what just happened
“i just sucked-”
“you will not believe-”
you both stopped and laughed even harder, holding onto each other for support, then your friend took a deep breath and smiled, “you first.”
the sounds emitted from you two not only made your boys smile and their chests swell with pride but also coerced some chuckles from the other members of the batch
they all knew how long these...events were in the making and how eager cross and wrecker were becoming
and in all honesty they were glad their brothers had found happiness in two girls like yourselves
nice, funny, and obviously in love with their brothers
they really could’t have asked for better women to take care of their family

Could you do a reader x Louis fic where maybe he falls hard for white fox with the fluffiest tail? 👉🏻👈🏻Like maybe he met them outside of school during the meteor festival before the anime ends or if that’s too hard you can come up with your own scenario..sORRY I HOPE IM NOT BEING COMPLICATED! Thank you !
A/N: thank you for the request !! I’ve definitely got a few in my inbox and I think what I’m planning to do is a louis insert/legosi insert/louis- back and forth like that, bc they’re basically the only requests I’ve gotten haha!
There will actually be a part 2 to this because it got a little long, so look forward to it! :)
Clouds— Or Something Along Those Lines (Louis x You)
The meteor festival was busy, like always. Every year the school helped participate in the event- all the clubs suddenly had their hands full of activities, regardless if they were a very popular club or not. Everyone had to chip in at least a little bit!
You were one of the students in your sort-of-elitist school who wasn’t a part of a club. You never really found a specific interest in anything that was offered, and your attention tended to waver between multiple things at once. So you really wouldn’t make a good club member to begin with- that was your reasoning for not joining. But, to counter that- you decided to be the helping hand if anyone found themself in need of one.
And no one needed a helping hand more than when it was the meteor festival. There basically wasn’t a moment that you weren’t on your feet, helping several of the clubs with their more tedious chores that they’d rather hand off to someone else so they could focus on something more important.
Not that you really mind. This is what you signed up for! You’re definitely not the fastest animal out there, or the strongest, but you think you’re a good enough compromise for most things. You’re in the middle of fast-walking through the park with multiple boxes in your hands- kind of towering over you so that it was hard to see, but it should be fine.
And then, of course, you had to run into somebody. Of course you did. Thankfully, whoever you bumped into was tall and fast, and they helped steady the boxes in your arms before any of them could fall.
“Whoa!” You exclaim before you laugh a bit under your breath. “Thank you- I’m real sorry about that!” Looking over the boxes, you see who you ran into-
And of course! It’s the most pretentious member of your pretentious school, Louis the red deer.
The deer actually looks frustrated- which is new- before he quickly fixes his tense features and tries to look undisturbed. “It’s fine,” he assures you. “But you should probably lighten your load so it doesn’t happen again.”
“Oh, is that an offer?” Your ears perk up and you can see the flash of irritation on his face. Your tail wags just a bit in interest.
You’ve never been this close to Louis before- you never had a reason to. You were never a big fan of plays to begin with and you didn’t like how everyone idolized Louis- and you especially didn’t like how Louis idolized himself. But seeing the deer struggle to keep his usual perfect composure intrigues you.
“...I suppose I have time,” Louis sighs through his nose and picks up the boxes sitting atop your stack with ease. “Where are we headed?”
“Just to that stall over there- I’m delivering some more supplies.” You take the lead, walking ahead of Louis as you walk down the path. You have to pace a little in order to be in the front- his legs are much longer than yours- but you manage. It’s easier now that your load has been lightened a bit.
“...Sound supplies. Are you a part of the music club?”
“Ah, observant. I’d expect nothing less,” your tail wags casually between your legs as you smile. “No, I’m not a part of any club. I just like to help out- ah, you can put them over here-“ you reach the stall and walk around it, toward the tall oak tree it’s next to. You huff as you drop the heavy boxes, Louis placing the others right next to it.
You sigh and stretch your back before you look up to him, meeting his eye as you smile. “Thank you, Louis. Is there anything the theatre club needs help with?”
The club president waves your offer off with his hand. You don’t miss the fact that he’s the first to break eye contact. “No, that won’t be necessary. Thank you for the offer, though.”
“So polite,” you eye him in interest. “And so well trained, too. No wonder you’re popular.”
You hold back your grin as you see him get angry again. It’s only a split second- but a second is all you need.
“Trained?” He sounds throughly offended, as he should. That was the point.
“I’m just tugging your tail, don’t worry,” you put your hands on your hips and shrug. “You’re very emotional today. Your nose flares when you’re angry, you know. I can see it.”
Louis doesn’t say anything back- perhaps because he’s dumbfounded or perhaps because he doesn’t want to feed your nonsense. Which is fair enough.
“I guess that’s just my foxy nature or something- being a little shit sometimes,” you chuckle. “I’m sorry if I offended you. But if you do need my help, give me a holler, yeah?”
You leave him alone beneath the oak tree, making a quick retreat as you have more music supplies to deliver. You know when you push your luck with some animals and you were definitely doing that with Louis- you can practically feel his glare on your back as you casually walk away.
Surprisingly enough, though- one of the club members for the theatre comes up to you eventually and asks for your help. “Louis said to find the fox with the fluffy tail,” it was a tall peacock who found you. He points to your tail with his feathered hand. “I’m assuming that’s you?”
You can’t help but laugh. “Yeah, that’s me.”
Apparently you had left somewhat of an impact on him- enough to actually tell his club members about you. And when you head over to the tall, impressive structure that you’ve honestly been eyeing the entire time it’s been here, Louis is standing nearby with his hands on his hips as he instructs several other animals about something or other.
You’re instructed by the peacock to help paint the large dragon, and you do so happily, though you can’t help but wander off eventually so that you creep up to Louis when he’s distracted. Silently, you get close enough so you can tickle the hand by his side with your supposedly fluffy tail.
The feeling shocks him and he looks down at you with wide eyes, and you look back up at him with a wide smile. “It’s you,” he barely manages to hold back what’s probably disgust in his tone as he holds his hand close to his chest. You laugh.
“Don’t act surprised, you’re the one who basically invited me here! I knew you’d eventually need my help.”
“Oh, you knew, did you?”
“Mhmm. And I wasn’t wrong.” You wave your little paintbrush around, circling it between your fingers. “Thanks for the compliment, by the way.”
Louis looks like he doesn’t know what on earth you’re talking about, making you snort. “Fluffy tail? That’s a compliment if you ask me.”
The deer’s mouth falls open- closed- and then open again- until eventually he gives up and looks away from you completely. “It’s not a compliment,” is all he manages to say.
Your tail wags. “Sure it’s not.”
His twitching brow and flaring nose tells you otherwise.

You remember standing at the edge of the cliff and thinking about how big and beautiful the world looked at age seven. You think back to the words your grandfather tells you when he sits on the ground next to you and begins to tell the familiar tale of the boy who lived life too scared to leap. You don’t think it was a true story; some elements changed every other time the same story was retold but you listened with rapt attention either way.
Every summer when you visited your grandfather in that little house by the cliff hours away from the rush the city brought, more than half of your days were spent sitting by the edge watching the clouds chase and envelop one another. You’d watch as the blue moved into gold, then orange, then red, then back to blue—and finally dive into black. There was never a day where the chase looked exactly the same.
At nine, you still thought the world looked too vast and beautiful and now you think it was because there was still so much you didn’t know. At sixteen, you remembered seeing more streaks of pink along the horizon in the distance but when you look back at the photos now—it was still really just swirls of red and kisses of orange. Maybe that was the summer you first felt love, because the world you saw in those days were through the rose colored lenses that only you wore.
When your grandfather would ask you why you preferred to sit out by the edge instead of run in the field with the kids you knew nearby you only shrugged and said you didn’t want to miss the stories in the sky later that day. Some days, he’d sit next to you and you’d listen to the story of the boy who never leaped again, but during the last few years of his life when he became too frail for the world, he’d only ruffle your hair and go back inside the house.
There wasn’t a particular reason either; no dramatics that told a heartfelt backstory towards your infatuation with the sky, or a long spill about how you love letting the sounds of the waves crashing silence your thoughts—it was quite the opposite, really. Even when your first love told you it wasn’t working out and you spent the entire evening and the next crying over a story ended, you still sat and watched the colors changing with the expression of wonder that stayed constant since you were a child.
“I still care for you,” you remember him saying and his voice clear in your head doesn’t fight over the sounds of the waves crashing on jagged boulders below.
“—we’re just not meant for each other,” he says again but you don’t feel the need to look away from the sky because the sun’s beginning to dip into the horizon and the violets are starting to paint swirls in the sky.
“I don’t think I ever loved you, (y/n),” you hear along with the cry of a seagull somewhere on your left but you only let out the sigh you’ve held in when the show is over and the black curtains cover the sky. You remember closing your eyes to try to search for that twinge of pain you always read about when your first love is over. But, when you breathe in, you only hear the water below roar. When you breathe out, you hear your grandfather’s call from the house behind you.
That night when you stood up to leave, you dusted the dirt off of your pants and stepped closer to the edge; you weren’t going to jump but you wanted to step into that line of uncertainty to feel that rush.
The feeling you always get when you’re tipping your seat back and you let your fingers graze off of the table you’re supporting yourself with—and you’re dipping into the territory of whether you’ll fall forward or backward. Whether the fall either ways could mean good, or bad.
“Can’t we work this out?” is what you knew you wanted to try to say in the moment he turned his back. And then the first step towards him became one, then two, then three—before your hand stopped short of grabbing his shoulder because you realize you don’t want to say it.
Maybe because you were sixteen and the chemistry test you had to take next period was a more important thought than this, or maybe because this was the kind of puppy love where it as quick as it started—so you didn’t want to tarnish the final chapters with an ugly fight. But, really, you began to think, as your hand curled back into a fist and you watched him with dry eyes turn the corner and disappear, you just don’t have a reason to want to work it out.
So then as the bell rang, you turned to take a step that went from one, to two, to three, four—and then eventually six steps back.
Six steps away from the edge where you let yourself be dangled by uncertainty.
-
The strange part is you don’t remember what began shifting afterwards; when you lost sight of the horizon you spent years losing yet finding yourself in all at once.
After that night, for the years that led up to now it felt like there was never a balance when it came the climax of your decision making. Every time the atmosphere tensed and you feel your gut twist with the pressure of the outcome, your brain is suddenly creating loopholes to mend the situation and your body is already in motion—every single time moving one, to two, to twenty steps away from the drop. That way, you could rock your heels to the side or tip the back of your chair as far back as possible without the need to pull back because you know the steady ground would always break your fall.
You weren’t sure if you necessarily enjoyed it but the cliff by your grandfather’s house doesn’t look the same anymore. This time, you’re sitting in a chair on the porch, a heavy distance away from the pull of gravity down below. Because it’s safe, you reason, but the horizon from your spot doesn’t look quite the same. Peering at the strokes of colors in the 6pm sky through cracks in the porch’s rooftop makes the world feel so little. You hear the sound of the TV running inside the house instead of the water roaring below and you know it isn’t the same.
But when the sun peeks in finality before diving the world into dark, you stand at the edge of the porch like you did at the edge of the cliff so many times before.
One foot hovering over the ground below and you know your balance is tipping, but you don’t feel anything. There isn’t a hitch in your breath and the feeling of weightlessness and heaviness simultaneously nipping at your skin.
You sigh in blankness as you thrust your body forward and let yourself dive. Before you even leap you already feel the ground beneath your feet.
The ground is only two feet below you.
-
In your mid-twenties, Miya Atsumu came into your life in a whirlwind of laughter and expressions.
He wasn’t really that spectacular. Sure, Atsumu could twirl a pencil like the honor roll kids as well as he could land a service ace, but that was kind of it.
How the two of you became close friends was always a wonder to you as well. You knew his twin brother—Osamu, after frequenting his onigiri shop every day for lunch, but your interactions with him were mostly limited to the “hi”, “how are you”, “thanks”, and “goodbye”.
Atsumu was, well, interesting to talk to because of all the expressions that substituted some verbal cues in the conversation.
It took getting to know him for about a year and joining him in the last minute road trips he pulled with you to realize how much Atsumu embodied uncertainty.
He was like the push and the pull of the wind when you’re standing at that edge again. Like somewhere between the moments of unfiltered fear from plunging down into the ocean you know you can’t swim in, and that step back of reasoning that tells you a two more steps further means two more steps safer.
He was neither of those, but at the same time, made you feel the magnitude of both simultaneously. Atsumu, to you, was the cliff, the rocking wind, the steady ground, and the plunge below.
And it was frustrating because you couldn’t read him at all.
-
When he asked you one day if you wanted to join him for dinner, this time, just the two of you while the apples of his cheek blushed a visible shade of red despite the dimmed lighting of the sky—you felt your gut churn in uncertainty.
For a while you’ve felt he wanted to push the boundaries of your friendship into a territory more unknown to the both of you, but you thought it would just stop at the experimental prodding. You weren’t blind. You felt how his eyes would trail your profile when he thought your attention was too engrossed in a book, knew that the unmarked box of chocolates were from him because he wasn’t subtle in hiding the special instructions written on the bottom of the box. You saw the triumphant spark in his eye when you told him the gift he gave you on your birthday was exactly what you wanted even if he just shrugged and said he guessed lucky.
And that’s the thing—Atsumu was painfully obvious. He wasn’t explicit about his intentions—he was just obvious; you know he wasn’t dumb enough to leave all these hints and expect you to still not know so that frustrated you even further. Did he want you to find out? Did you want to find out?
“Do ya think you wanna get some dinner tonight?” he quips beside you, “—just us two?” he adds, finishing awkwardly as you two come to a halt in front of the train station.
You think about his offer; you really do. The feeling in your gut doesn’t go away and your left foot is subconsciously rocking backwards. One step back.
“Maybe next time,” you hear yourself say. Atsumu’s deflating in front of you and his right hand rests on the back of his head while he shoves the left into the pocket of his jeans.
Two steps, “I’d love to—“ you continue, “but I may miss the last train and I don’t really wanna take a taxi tonight.”
Atsumu’s nodding his head saying, “Of course! Of course. Yeah, definitely. Next time!” And in a way you’re thankful he doesn’t mention the fact that he could always drive you back instead of letting you take a taxi.
Three steps, as you wave at him from the top steps of the station’s exit.
Four steps, “For sure next time!” you call out as he waves at your retreating figure with a smile. Neither of you really have faith on when next time will be, nor were sure if either of you believed it in the first place.
It’s when the train doors close and you’re holding on the railing where it dawns on you that you just took about 20 more steps back.
-
Two weeks after Atsumu’s offer of a dinner date was when Bokuto comes to you to say that he understands why you rejected the offer.
“You and him are just too different from each other,” he says like he made a profound discovery and not like he’s commenting on your love life.
“Aren’t opposites supposed to attract?” you ask.
“Not all the time,” Bokuto answers almost immediately and you nod your head choosing to not expand on the topic while your mind begins to whirl at his words.
On the bright side, you were glad neither you nor Atsumu spoke much about it. The days where you’d spend the afternoons with the team until practice ended, if nobody wanted to catch dinner the two of you would eventually just part ways at the train station he walked you to every night.
“I could always drive you home, ya know, I’m a good driver,” he says when you search through your bag for your PASMO card.
“I live in the opposite way you’re going, ‘Tsumu,” you laugh, albeit still appreciative at his offer.
“I know,” he replies and rattles his keys in his hands.
You’re still digging through your bag as you look for the card you know you must have left at home before you finally sigh and look at him looking at you holding out his keys.
“C’mon, (Y/n), I won’t speed I swear!” Atsumu laughs as he leads the way to the parking lot.
-
A few more weeks pass and you’re glad no one mentions the fact that you follow Atsumu into the parking lot every time practice ends. The day after he drove you home for the first time, you flashed the PASMO card you made sure to have with you this time and told him thank you for dropping you off the day before. He only rolled his eyes as he grabbed your wrists and pulled you in the car with him.
In hindsight, you could have said no and waved him off like usual, but your feet were matching the steps in his before you could even process what you were doing. He just drove you home, made small talk, and asked about your days most of the time—so all in all it was pleasant.
And you lived in the west side of town so drive always meant that the both of you had a front seat view to the sky’s art show. One thing you noticed (and appreciated) about Atsumu was the duality in his focus.
First hand, you’ve seen up close the intensity of his focus during his serves. The air would whip itself into a deafening silence at the drop of his hand and his eyes steeled over as fast as the sounds came to a halt—it was eerie, almost. In the way that sent chills down your spine and admiration bubble in the pits of your stomach. Then, as quick as the ball slams on the spot of the ground he aimed towards—the yell of triumph he’d express and the smile that would break into his face would overflow from his whole being. Like exhaling shakily after a sharp intake of breath—Atsumu was everything intense.
But, Atsumu, you think as you peek at him looking at the skies in front of him, was also serene. The kind of focus that pulled you in all the right ways. Like the gentle teacher you had from elementary who would coax you softly to focus sounding out the words in the passage you had trouble pronouncing. His hands were steady on the wheel, at 10 and 2 and the car would slowly come to a stop at every red light instead of the sharp lurch your body moves into when you press the brake a little too harshly. He only sometimes put music in the car—he told you he prefers to have your voice as company instead of hearing about the weather from the radio.
It surprised you, but at this point Atsumu brought nothing in your life but surprises. Then again, it wasn’t necessarily a bad thing—you were just used to feeling the ground before you fell so his uncertainty was still very much of an unmarked territory for you.
-
“Is it something about me?” he asked when the two of you exited the car and stood outside the entrance to your apartment building.
You know what he’s talking about, but you opt to stay silent and look at him with your head tilted instead because you already feel the urge to take one step back.
He’s still looking at you even as the passing moments are stretching into an awkward silence so he sighs and shoves his hands back in his pockets—something he does when he’s nervous, you noticed—and waved you off when you opened your mouth to try to retaliate. You’re thankful because you aren’t exactly sure what it was you were going to say anyway.
“Don’t worry ‘bout it,” he says as he turns.
“See ya tomorrow?”
He waits for you to nod and wave a goodbye at him, which he first smiles at, before he starts the car and drives away.
-
His question “doesn’t keep you up at night,” is what you try to convince yourself when it’s 2:05 am on a Tuesday night and all you’ve done so far is toss and turn in bed. To prove your own point, you’ve sat up and turned the bedside lamp on while you scroll through some unopened emails on your laptop.
Halfway into retyping the same email you know you’ve been staring at for the past hour, Atsumu’s contact photo chimes in your phone in the form of a text message.
“you up?” it reads from the notification bar and you automatically shut your laptop close, turn off the lamp, and throw your covers over your head.
“No,” you reply out loud and you internally groan because of how ridiculous you’re being.
Your thoughts from the night before still remain in your head as you’re sitting on the bench beside the court later that afternoon as you type away at your laptop. It’s still the same email you never replied to last night, but you try to ignore that. You also ignore the fact that you’ve kept count of how many times the ball slammed on the opposite side of the net when Atsumu practiced his serves.
You don’t notice it when Bokuto takes a seat next to you and looks over your shoulder at the email you’re not even halfway through typing.
“That’s the same email opened since this morning,” he points out and you groan before turning to face and quickly shush him.
He’s laughing when he takes a seat next to you.
“You know,” he begins, “I think you’re just scared to feel something for Atsumu.”
You close your laptop—the draft of your email unsaved, like it had any coherent content anyway.
“Bo, you’re being silly,” you reply knocking your shoulder against his in laughter.
“You’re avoiding the conversation, (y/n),” he laughs back and you wave him off towards the court in laughter when the coach calls for him. He stretches when he stands back up and tells you, “We’ll talk about this later because I think you need it,” before jogging off to the other side of the gym.
Inwardly, you heave another sigh, because this was one of the times where Bokuto’s being more serious. You had to give him credit—the duality in his personality and harsh line when he switched from jesting to seriousness was impressive. Bokuto Koutarou wasn’t smart in many aspects of the domestic parts of life—he didn’t understand taxes, or why you needed to change the oil often, but he had a way of looking through the layers people build around themselves.
At first, it caught you off guard because two weeks after you met you had only been sitting outside a convenience store watching him lick the melted parts of his ice cream on his hands when he suddenly turns to you and says, “(Y/n), I wish you would take risks more. You’re too cautious.”
He never brought it up again, but every time he chose to tell you something—it was always something you knew, never acknowledged, but needed to hear.
So when Atsumu waves at you and shouts that he’ll just shower and be out in thirty minutes, you ignore the urge to step back, and smile at him instead.
You’re thinking about Bokuto’s words again as you listen to Atsumu yell something at Sakusa from inside the locker room.
You’re too different from each other.
You suppose there are differences, especially in the way you address your friends—Atsumu’s not afraid to clap your back while he laughs while you choose to keep your hands to yourself. He’s not afraid to let his intentions be known while you try to wrestle with your thoughts every time you’re shifting closer to the edge.
You could always walk away, you tell yourself every day, but every day you also choose to not do that. You know day by day and sunset after sunset you watch with Atsumu you’re nearing that edge again—and you want nothing more than take twenty more steps back but each day he offers you a new joke that you genuinely laugh at you know it’s a couple centimetres closer to where you’re afraid of going.
Bokuto’s right, you’re different from each other, but you know deep down that you’re alike in so many ways. When Atsumu talks about what he wants to do accomplish in life outside of volleyball, he talks with such a childish wonder in the certainty of the tone of his voice. At times, he was stubborn to the core—just like you were, and you realize that would clash between the both of you some day but Atsumu smiling as he’s jogging towards you has you realizing that you don’t really mind at all.
“Ready to go?” he asks and you could only nod as you follow him out the door.
Bokuto’s looking at you and giving you a thumbs up which you nervously return with a smile of your own.
During the car ride back home, you’re thankful that Atsumu chooses to flip on the radio this time; you didn’t plan on telling much of a story, and your thoughts are too jumbled up with everything for you to even settle with small talk.
“You good?” he asks, then looks over at you at the red light. You nod yes and shift the bag sitting in your lap.
“The sky looks pretty today,” you begin, “—the sunset today looks like the ones I grew up seeing when I was a kid at my grandfather’s by the coast.”
Atsumu hums, but it’s still heard over the low volume of the car’s radio, “You should take me to see one day.”
Your gut churns and you curse yourself when you habitually chose to stay silent.
“I don’t mean it like I’m inviting myself there, (Y/n)—“
“It’s okay, you should visit with me next time,” you reply then turn to watch his expression shift from flustered to surprise from his profile. You’re watching him with baited breath and your heart thumping can almost be heard when the radio dips into a silence in the commercial.
The light switches to green and Atsumu eases his foot off of the break as the car slowly gains momentum before he’s nodding his head and saying a soft, “Yeah. Sure. Totally.”
It’s quite uncharacteristic for him to be so muted with his replies, but you suppose these are one of the similarities you’re discovering you have with Atsumu. He’s confident and barks out his comments when his emotions are running high, but at the moment you know the both of you are tiptoeing around that line of uncertainty at the moment.
When his pointer figure taps the steering wheel in an unknown rhythm, a nervous habit of his, you feel yourself slightly relax. The difference this time from that hallway breakup you had when you were sixteen was both of you were at the same page. That boy who said he didn’t love you let the certainty in his intentions be known in the way you could already anticipate the long term ending for. There was nothing more to be uncovered—and you didn’t find the push to dive down for more.
This, with Atsumu, was a different story. You had curiosity with the unclarity. You craved to unravel his truth.
Truthfully, every decision you’ve made so far had you already seeing the outcome—that’s why you’ve only felt like you were only jumping to a ground two or three feet under you.
With Atsumu, you’ve come to realize that he personified the edge. At the same time, he was the push and the pull of the wind when you’re balancing yourself between curiosity and reason. You know the frustration you feel when you can’t read him comes from the fact that you’re only seeing him from the surface. You see licks of who he is with every slam of the ball and every spark in his eye.
But just when you feel that knot in your stomach, you allow reason to cloud your desire to jump into the blurred lines of variability— Every. Single. Time.
And it frustrates you because twenty steps back have become too comfortable for you to try to leave. You hated it, but you knew what was waiting for you every time, so you learned to find the comfort in it.
The truth is, you’ve always had the curiosity towards what it felt like to plunge. Like the story your grandfather would tell you—it ended with the boy dying by the edge he never found the curiosity to jump in, surrounded by the questions that ultimately died with him. It was a pitiful end, and up till now you believe the entire story could have been avoided. You know you’re always thinking about the dive and what comes with it, but never found quite the push that’d lead you to want to throw your body forward and seek.
You know Bokuto always had a point in the passing comments he tells you when you least expect it. Bokuto presented them to you in forms of declarations not even in questions.
The sky in front of you is the same sky you stood under when you dangled your feet over the edge, fearless, years ago. Atsumu feels like the push and pull of the wind, and the tug of gravity under your soles when he looks at you as you stand in front of your apartment building.
You’re not in the cliff side this time but you see the horizon you forgot you loved when Atsumu shoves his hands in his pockets and offers you a smile.
You hear the cry of the waves below and the call of the seagulls to your left when Atsumu says, “About earlier, you don’t have to worry about it—I was just jokin.”
“You’re scared to feel something for Atsumu,” you hear Bokuto tell you when you itch to take a step back, then, “I wish you’d take more risks.”
“I wanna take the risk,” you say out loud and Atsumu looks at you quizzically, before softening his eyes when he realizes what you’re trying to say.
And you could almost laugh because of course he understands what you mean. Atsumu knew more than he let on and you could laugh again at the mirroring of your personalities. It was opposite and identical at the same time: identical like the both of you understanding each other’s metaphors without explanation, and opposite in the way he always addresses them while you do, well, the opposite of that.
“I wanna jump,” you say even if it doesn’t make sense because you’re confident the message will reach him all the same.
Atsumu’s beaming and you think it looks like the sun that’s looked at you from the horizon for years. When he takes your hands in his, you inhale yet feel breathless because the balls of your feet feel weightless and your body is leaning forward.
And when the clouds in the sky blend with the painting and Atsumu leans forward, you let gravity take you—
Then, you’re diving.
