I am doing a fun little project where I am designing a theology of gods for an isekai story. I'm borrowing a bit from aristotlian elementalism, and tarot and wuxing shows up. Ok from the top, there is only 1 god. Easy. But they have six aspects; fire, water, earth, wood, and metal (hi wuxing), and 0. So these guys are my Major Arcana and Royal Suit players. I'm gonna fold that all up into them once I get my sub-project done. So for example, the guy who is going to end up my Water God will have the High Priestess and Queen of Cups iconography and domain over their stuff. But that's not all!
Now we get to the slog which is looking at all 14 times 4 cards of the minor arcana. For you see! Each of the 6 aspects of 1 have 6 aspects themselves. These guys are going to be gods of, have iconography of, ect ect, of the suit that corresponds to their upper management. That's 14 cards to split up amongst 6 guys, so roughly 2 per right? But not so fast! Each card means one thing when its upright, but it means a different thing when its reversed. So there are actually 28 cards per suit.
That brings us back to the beginning, and 0. This guy doesn't have sub aspects as their own category. Instead, they show up as influence in the other gods aspects. So Water has Feelings, Creativity, ect as gods, then one guy who is "Emotionlessness, Out of control emotions, blind inner sight" and all the things you get when the Cups reverse. But Reversed cards arn't evil, the educated amongst you say. This is true! And the Fool isn't an idiot. The god of blind inner sight isn't causing it, they are calling attention to a problem that needs to be fixed. So 1 has 6 aspects, and 0 has 6 aspects among them. Put them together and they equal out.
But I'm not gonna do a one to one straight transliteration of cards to gods, 1 and 2, 3 and 4. You'll recall wood and metal up there, who don't have a suit. Also, in wuxing, none of the elements really have the same associations aside from a few things. So everything is getting shuffled to where in the wuxing they would fit. Because I can't just copy paste anymore I have to understand each card, and then once I do, get a good grasp of each of the 5 agents, and then mix and match.
The purpose of this all wasn't to make a pantheon of the tarot, afterall, but to find inspiration for my deities and how they all interacted. All that. AAAAAaaaaall that. To say. I am now smack dab in the middle of learning about all the minor arcana from 5 different websites and each has a different take or emphasis. So I am making a document that summerises those takes into something I can consult when I move on to the next stage. And I wanted to share that summery because its been a lot of work.
And hey, maybe people will have suggestions of where to throw them once I begin wuxing-ing em!

repost and rate your muse's traits out of 10 in each category !
★ ⸻ COMPASSION: 6/10. Paris is honestly probably more sympathetic than actively compassionate, but either way his priority in acting lies more in either of these sentiments than things such as a consideration of "duty" or similar.
★ ⸻ BITTERNESS: 0/10. At most maybe a 1. Ought he be a little bitter, perhaps? Would it be reasonable he be bitter? Sure it would. Somehow, he is not.
★ ⸻ HAPPINESS: 8/10. Circumstances notwithstanding. Paris can find joy even where he perhaps ought not, but he's lighthearted at his core and nothing can suppress this for long. In a no-war situation he'd be hovering somewhere between 8-10/10
★ ⸻ POLITENESS: 7-9/10. It all depends on who you are, really, and the circumstances. Paris' default approach, whether polite or not, is mild-mannered, so unless he's going out of his way to get insulting, a less polite approach might be missed.
★ ⸻ MORALITY: 5/10. Given Paris is capable, able, and willing to break rules/concepts such as is held basically sacrosanct (xenia), if that is what is needed. Mostly to avoid doing something in a way he would not like, though it might cause less offense in general. Modern reincarnation would bump this up to an 8, I'd say, given changing cultural mores and values and such. (Now, since my interpretation and the events/actions I acknowledge actually ignore a number of more "immoral" things he does in certain versions, maybe that number should be lower. On the other hand, the attack on Sidon/the king is construed as more xenia-breaking and since no version actually gives a full account of this, no way to know how it was presented. I ignore it because it really doesn't jive with his priorities/actions/personality in the Iliad.)
★ ⸻ CHIVALRY: 7/10. Part of several other qualities and even deliberate methods (like seduction), but also genuine.
★ ⸻ PRIDE: 1/10. I mean. At best that should be a 2/10. Paris has little pride, given how he's fine with with being talked to and about, as well as looked at, in terms of his reputation and actions.
★ ⸻ HONESTY: 7/10. He doesn't generally lie, but he is perfectly capable and willing to lie by omission, or lie outright, if it should be necessary.
★ ⸻ BRAVERY: 3-4/10. /flaps hand at canon. But given that he's also capable of being on the battlefield - and at the front of it! - with little complaint even in a sticky situation (Book 13), I'm not shuffling his score down to a 2.
★ ⸻ RECKLESSNESS: 5/10. Recklessness in combat situation is (generally) lower. In other circumstances, however...
★ ⸻ AMBITION: 4/10. Not really ambitious - it's more, perhaps, that in the few things he does devote himself to gain he will do his best to get. (Sure, choosing "the most beautiful woman in the world" is its own sort of ambition, but if he was really ambitious he would have chosen either Hera or Athena, and make more of an attempt to not let his cowardice hold him back on the battlefield.)
★ ⸻ LOYALTY: 8/10. Paris does leave Oenone (though the way I conceive of this is more complicated than little loyalty to the relationship), and loyalty alone can't win over his faults to prompt him more consistent and strong participation in the war. But he also doesn't leave/give up on Helen even when the situation (and the relationship) gets as bad as it does (setting aside if he even could), and he also doesn't leave Troy.
★ ⸻ LOVE: 10/10. This is part of what he is, after all. A huge, massive, part, to a fault since ideally it should be weighed up by some other virtues to make this a virtue, too, instead of a partial fault.
★ ⸻ SENSE OF FAMILY: 8/10. Like the comment for loyalty above, Paris isn't flawlessly motivated by this. But on the other hand he also does stay and fight, and Hektor is the one who can either shame or persuade him to do what he "should".
★ ⸻ ATTRACTIVENESS: 10/10. Lmao. It might not be his only excellence but if this boy wasn't hot there might on the one hand be less trouble (might - considering some versions of the Judgement makes clear Aphrodite could/would make him attractive/beloved to all anyway), but on the other hand he'd not even have this to fall back on as something viewed positively (and negatively).
★ ⸻ AGILITY: 9/10. One of Paris' physical strengths and definitely what he relies more on in battle than strength itself.
★ ⸻ SEX DRIVE: 10/10. Lol. Lmao, even. Could put an infinity symbol instead of the ten - would probably be more correct! Paris' sex drive is of course part of the problem, aside from his romantic side and ability to be seductive.

2023 Fanfic Year Wrap-Up Meme
Number of Fics: 53 Number of Unique Fandoms: 6* (ASOIAF, GoT, HOTD, Harry Potter, War and Peace, Romeo and Juliet) Number of Unique Pairings: 35 (repeat ships: Throbb [6], Alicole [3], Tristheon, Theonsa, Patheon, Tris/Sansa, Montacrew OT3, Romercutio, Regulus/Evan, Dransy [2 each])** Total Number of Words: 104,970
*Counting ASOIAF, GoT and HOTD as different fandoms because that’s kind of how I’ve been doing it when tagging and stuff. **Only counting ships which were primarily featured as a focus of the story. Often times ships would hover in the background but weren’t counted. # Gen: 21 # Het: 24 # Slash: 20 # Fem: 3 *Some stories fall into more than one category.
# PG: 33 # PG-13: 17 # R: 3 # NC-17/Explicit: 0
Looking back, did you write more fics than you thought you would this year, less than you thought, or about what you predicted?. I’d say more. I actually beat what I wrote last year, despite writing less (if my calculations are/were correct) for Battleship than I did last year (in 2022).
Where did you publish/archive your stories? AO3 with some cross-posting to Tumblr. What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January? I accidentally fell in love with Tris/Sansa this year… Did you take any writing risks this year? Not as many as last year I think, but Battleship always inspires weird shit. *gestures at space selkies* Do you have any writing goals for the new year? I always do and then I never accomplish them. But no ok…I WILL finish that throbb WIP I started posting, good lord. What’s your favorite story this year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you the happiest. Always hard to choose but either This Love Feel I (That Feel No Love In This) or Tore My Heart In Sunder. Okay, NOW your most popular story? Going by kudos, Sweet Misery. Story of yours most underappreciated by the universe, in your opinion? The Tris/Sansa fics, though I get it lol. Mm also Adjust For The Wind, maybe, bur it does have like 5 lovely comments which is pretty good for a niche gen fic. Story that could have been better?
There’s always a few, especially with Battleship. Most fun story to write? Mmm several were in their own ways, but like....Tore My Heart In Sunder was super cathartic in a way so lets go with that. Story with single sweetest moment? The Sweetest Marriage is, as the title suggests, pure domestic fluff.
The story that made you cry? If any did, it was probably Tore My Heart In Sunder.
Most “holy crap, that’s wrong, even for you” story? Hmm I don’t think there was one this year? Sexiest story? This year was really not about that lmao (like even for me). Hardest story to write I kind of want to say Homeward Bound (the space selkies ones) but idk. I wrote it super fast lbr and just kind of let it do its thing. There’s always several fics that are difficult in different ways/different types of painful and it’s hard to compare sometimes.
Easiest story to write? Mm this isn't saying much, really, especially that it being super short is part of it, but probably In Robb's Dreams. Most unintentionally telling story Ok, so actually…A Soft Epilogue probably because I think it Says things about me as a throbb shipper at least. Story you haven’t yet written, but intend to Still hoping for to materialize the throbb/reyne longfic AU somehow…
#fanfiction#fandom#writing#meme#op#kinda late this year but i've been busy#doesn't include original fic

I don't really listen to the Beatles but I really like this format (also thanks for tagging me homie! you're very sweet) and y'all know how much i love boygenius so here are my top ten boygenius songs in order!
voyager: this song. absolutely killed me when it came out. the 1st time i heard it i was walking to marching band practice at like 6:45 in the morning, and i was kind of in crisis mode because i had just realized that i had developed a crush on someone i felt i could never be with, and every single line of this song hit me like a freight train the whole walk there. i swear i listened to it like 15 times the first day it was out. it's my go-to song when i'm having a little sad moment.
not strong enough: this song is SUCH a banger (and also it won 2 grammys so that was cool). it has such a good beat and melody but the lyrics are also absolutely devastating? "always an angel, never a god" is one of my favorite lyrics of all time and i have a bracelet set that says that. i wear them every day.
we're in love: this song hits so hard. lucy dacus's voice on this song is absolutely gorgeous, and it's such a beautiful song about the beauty of friendship and infinite familial love. it's so well-written, maybe my favorite lyrically off "the record", and every single time i hear it i am stunned by the pure love it conveys.
letter to an old poet: i am a sucker for a phoebe bridgers song (or one led by her), and this is one that hits the target in that category. it's also one of my favorites lyrically, and the references to "me and my dog" from the boygenius ep make me tear up every time. "you made me feel like an equal, but i'm better than you and you should know that by now" is such a good line in my humble opinion.
revolution 0: again, sucker for a phoebe-led song, and this song is genuinely one of the prettiest songs i've ever heard. the harmonies are so beautiful and again the lyrics are devastating.
emily i'm sorry: it's sad, it's gay, what more could one want? i wasn't a huge fan of this song when "the record" was released, thankfully i have seen the error of my ways and this is one of my favorites now. also it's lowkey relatable? like the "i'm 27 and i don't know who i am but i know what i want" is me except for i'm not 27.
salt in the wound: absolute BANGER. this is such a good song and showcases the talents of each of the 3 members so well. lucy's gorgeous voice? julien's insane shredding at the end? phoebe's part at the end? so good.
true blue: this is me and my best friend's song so it has a lot of meaning for me. like "we're in love" it is about friendship and love, but i just feel like it's in a more fun and playful way. don't get me wrong though, it still has great lyrics, and i also love the music video for this one (i have a hoodie inspired by it.)
cool about it: again, i think this one showcases each individual voice so well. all three of them have their own verse and it just really highlights the beauty and how different their voices are from each other. none of them sound similar, phoebe, julien, and lucy all have very distinct voices. and i also really like the line "i can walk you home and practice method acting".
me and my dog: this was one of the 1st boygenius songs i heard and i really love it. i also really like its connections to "letter to an old poet". i don't have a ton to say about it, just that it's a really good song.
anyways, that's my little music rant for you all today. i hope you enjoyed my yapping.
idk who to tag here
@summersinyourblood and whoever else wants to ofc!
As an average 17 year old white girl who loves The Beatles, I think it's very important people know my top 19 Beatles song in order and why.
1. I Am The Walrus
I love this one because it's literally John Lennon letting his intrusive thought absolutely dominate and furrow into a song. I mean what "pornographic preistess"? Like cmon.
2. Elanor Rigby
If you've listened to this song I don't even think I need to explain. "Ah, look at all the lonely people." I mean it's awesome, it's relatable, it's a story. It's just great overall.
3. Help
It was the first Beatles song I heard that I knew was a Beatles song. It used to be #1, then I heard the two listed above. It will never fall to number 4 or lower because of the sentiment.
4. Hey Jude
It reminds me of my deceased uncle, his name was Jude. He would make my bad days better with his jokes when I was near him, so the lyrics just make me cry. Also this song played right as we left the funeral home so yeah.
5. Magical Mystery Tour
Also just intrusive thoughts. What is the Magical Myster Tour? Idk but I wanna be taken away-
6. Hello, Goodbye
Idk why I like it so much, I just do. Idk, maybe it's because it's literally the Yin Yang of songs.
7. Yellow Submarine
Also just a silly little song. I like it because it's so silly hehe
8. Here Comes The Sun
I very vividly remember my mom singing this to me when I was a baby. Like VIVIDLY because I remember her singing "little darling". She would sing it to soothe me to sleep or some shit idk but it stuck w me.
9. Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds
ITS LITERALLY A SONG ABOUT BEING HIGH AS FUCK ON LSD OF COURSE I LOVE IT. Also Elton John did a cover of it so that's a plus :)
10. Strawberry Fields Forever
I wanna just walk through the strawberry fields when I listen to this song, it's so relaxing, and yk what yes please take me down to strawberry fields because I wanna forget everything real.
I decided to edit this to tag people to do the same
@loxolotle
@a-homiesexual-book-boi
@that-one-flute12
Anyways that's my top 10, but I know more than that and I Wanna Hold Your Hand is close 10 bc it's so sweet.

The Budget Garden 3: Seven Seas (V-Premium)
Hello Cardfighters. So this post might be quite unique in the aspect that I don’t really have anything to really “teach” or that much to discuss either to be honest. The Seven Seas archetype has been a mainstay of the Granblue Clan, as a powerful sub-clan that initially dominated the G-era meta during late 2016 up until early-to-mid 2017, where it was hit and left to die as G was entering a new format. People are only familiarized with them due to their very boysterous and loud presence in the G-meta game, but when the time came for them to be rebooted in the new V-series format, which, at the time, didn’t really have any truly cheap budget decks, their aggro playstyle was pushed to the limit in order to create a cheap deck that could steal games from the otherwise very slow and methodical meta of Nightrose and Scharhrot Vampir. The formatting for this instalment is going to be quite unique as we are required, maybe, in a way, even FORCED to run every single card that includes “Seven Seas” in the card name. Therefore, there won’t be much in terms of options for tech choices, as about 90% of the deck is already decided for us.
Let’s begin with our grade 3 line-up… which also just so happens to be the ONLY grade 3 unit that we are going to be playing in our deck, Lord of the Seven Seas, Nightmist.
[AUTO](VC/RC):When its attack hits, choose one of your (VC) or (RC) without any
Treasures
markers, and put a Treasures marker.
[CONT](VC):You get all of the effects below according to the number of your Treasures markers.
• 1 or more - All of your rear-guards with "
Seven Seas
" in their card names can attack and intercept from the back row.
• 3 or more - During your turn, all of your units with "Seven Seas" in their card names get [Power]+5000.
• 6 or more - This unit gets "[AUTO](VC):At the end of the battle it attacked, [Stand] all of your rear-guards with "Seven Seas" in their card names.".
To the majority of people that are having a full on Aneurysm reading this skill, I don’t blame you. The Treasure Markers are just that, markers that are placed on your circles, and that give off specific skills and unique abilities depending on the unit that is in top of them. Think of them as an indicator to know when your cards have their unique abilities and skills, instead of having to keep track of them yourself. Spoiler alert for every single card incoming, every single memeber of the Seven Seas archetype have the skill that allows you to obtain a treasure marker on one of your circles when they perform a successful attack.
Nightmist, apart from having really great artwork, is the main unit of our strategy, and the only real “payoff” for us actually obtaining these force markers. Do not be fooled by the shiny “protect” sumbol on the upper-leftmost corner, this is an insanely fast and loose Aggro deck, aiming to obtain 6 Treasure markers in order to perform 11 attacks in a single turn. This is perfectly reflected in Nightmist’s skill. The first skill allows for your backrow to attack your opponent’s units, just like a test-run version of Magnolia, as well as allowing them to intercept from the backrow, which seems very random but it will become obvious in a second.
The second skill gives your entire board a very nice boost. With 6 Seven Seas units on your circles, it gives your board an overall surplus of 30k power, while also allowing your grade 1 units to hit force numbers, effectively allowing you to rush against all 3 gifts.
The third skill is awesome, but really hard to pull off. If you have laid 6 successful attacks on your opponent and their units, Nightmist gets an effect that allows your ENTIRE board to restand, effectively giving you 5 bonus attacks.
Sound awesome, right? In the 25-30 games I have played to playtest for this very blog, I have managed to resolve this final skill on about 5 or 6 of them, either because at that point of the match I had either won the game or lost the game. It pops up SO LATE into the game that you might as well have already won, but when you do get to pull it off, it feels amazing … just don’t expect it to come up that often.
Nightmist is a hilariously bloated card, clearly being designed to fix holes that existed with this strategy before he even got printed. Nightmist is also the most expensive part of the deck, as a playset will set you back about 5-10 euros.
Moving forward to the grade 2 line-up, the units in this segment arent nearly as complicated or long-winded as Nightmist, as the grade 2 line up does an excellent job of adding some much needed consistency and raw power.
Our Grade 2 line-up consists of three units, Nightspinel, Negrolazy and Slash Shade.
[AUTO](VC/RC):When its attack hits, choose one of your (VC) or (RC) without any Treasures markers, and put a Treasures marker. [AUTO](VC/RC):When placed, COST [Counter Blast (1) & put two cards from the top of your deck into the drop zone], and call up to one card with "Seven Seas" in its card name not named "Seven Seas Pillager, Nightspinel" from your drop zone to (RC).
[AUTO](VC/RC):When its attack hits, choose one of your (VC) or (RC) without any Treasures markers, and put a Treasures marker. [CONT](RC):During your turn, if there is a marker on this unit's circle, this unit gets [Power]+15000.
[AUTO](VC/RC):When placed, you may call a grade 0 from your drop zone to (RC).
There really isn’t a lot to say, Cardfighters, these are the two types of skills that were really needed for some added consistency and power. Nightspinel not only fulfills the role of the “waifu" card in this archetype, she’s also a very nice way of setting your drop zone up for certain ressurection effects, but she is a single card that can provide more board advantage in a deck that calls a lot of its hand onto the board. Also, she’s very cute, which is also a plus. And in the category of “not so cute, but much more playable” comes Slash Shade, a card with a very simple, yet powerful effect. He can make himself a 24k attacker by just existing on a circle with a marker on it, key word being ANY marker. A protect II gift, which manifests itself as a marker on a circle also works with this skill, so a protect II market makes Slash Shade, even while unboosted, a 29k attacker. Couple that with Nightmist’s second skill, 3-4 of your circles are most likely going to be attacking from the backrow for 29k-34k. Slash Shade is, in a complete turn of events, the true boss monster for the Seven Seas, as he is by himself an attacker that requires a 20k or more shield from your opponent per attack, making him the unofficial win condition for this deck. Negrolazy seems like an odd addition, as getting a trigger back onto your board seems rather useless. It is. However, Negrolazy has great synergy with a grade 0 unit that we will be discussing in a little bit. While the grade 2 line-up is quite great for what it does, the most important aspect to any Blitz/Aggro strategy lies within the Grade 1 line-up, as it needs to provide some sort of value/recursion to offset the early hand loss. The grade 1 units that we will be using are the following: Witch Doctor of the Seven Seas, Raistutor Seven Seas Helmsman, Nightcrow Skeleton Sea Navigator Witch Doctor of Powdered Bone, Negrobone
[AUTO](VC/RC):When its attack hits, choose one of your (VC) or (RC) without any Treasures markers, and put a Treasures marker. [CONT](RC):If there is a marker on this unit's circle, this unit gets "Intercept".
[AUTO](VC/RC):When its attack hits, choose one of your (VC) or (RC) without any Treasures markers, and put a Treasures marker. [ACT](Drop zone):If you have a vanguard with "Seven Seas" in its card name, COST [Soul Blast (1) & retire a rear-guard not named "Seven Seas Helmsman, Nightcrow"], and call this card to (RC).
[ACT](RC):COST [[Rest] two rear-guards], and put five cards from the top of your deck into your drop zone.
[ACT](Drop zone):COST [Discard a card from your hand & put this card on the bottom of your deck], and call a grade 1 from your drop zone to (RC). If your drop zone has ten or more cards, you may call any grade instead. As you can see, all of the cards in our grade 1 line-up offer some form of utility, and it is as basic as it is good. Raistutor gives herself the ability to intercept, which works really well in conjunction with the Nightmist’s skill, as well as letting herself become a 20k backrow interceptor if there is a protect II marker on her circle. Nightcrow works really well while he is in the drop zone, as he can turn any unit on our board into a copy of himself for a soulblast. Also blasting the cards from our soul means more options in our drop zone, so he’s a fun addition that works well with the rest of the archetype. Skeleton Sea Navigator is our mill engine. Granblue decks love to put cards from the top of their deck in the drop zone to fulfill certain conditions or allow for more options. Since we cannot afford to put many cards that mill our own deck, as space is very tight, the Navigator allows up to mill ourselves for no cost at all. Negrobone is a powerful payoff for milling ourselves. Reviving a grade 1 unit isn’t awful since they provide us with value or more Seven Seas units for attacks, but his ability to be able to revive a unit regardless of grade means that we have another way to get our Slash Shades back onto the board. So these are our options for the grade 1 units, but don’t touch that dial, we have a consistency boosting grade 0 unit that helps us find the right Seven Seas units at the right time. (I’m too lazy to make a grade 0 introductory section for a single card)
[AUTO](VC/RC):When its attack hits, choose one of your (VC) or (RC) without any Treasures markers, and put a Treasures marker. [ACT](RC):COST [Bind this unit & put two cards from the top of your deck into the drop zone], and return a card with "Seven Seas" in its card name not named "Seven Seas Apprentice, Nightrunner" from your drop zone to your hand. He mills our deck, he reccurs cards, he gets revived from Negrolazy, he mops the floor, Nightrunner does it all. He is an excellent addition for our deck as he does pretty much everything that our deck wants to do, with an added layer of consistency.
Decklist and Final Thoughts.
GRADE 3 x4 Nightmist Grade 2 x4 Nightspinelx4 Slash Shadex3 Negrolazy Grade 1 x4 Nightcrow x4 Raistutor x3 Skeleton Sea Navigator x3 Negrobone Grade 0 x4 Nightrunner 8 critical triggers (2 sentinels) 4 draw triggers (2 perfect guards) 4 heals1 Starting Vanguard This deck is one of my favorites. It’s a deck that provides a very unique and interesting take on what a “protect” deck should be, and it allows for some of the most hectic and fun board states compared to the majority of decks in general, not just budget decks. However, time has not been kind to this beauty, as it has been powercrept quite a bit compared to the other budget decks descussed previously. However, if you want a deck that, from the moment that you flip your vanguard over, is chaotic and hectic fun, as well as a very unique take on an aggro deck, look no further than Nightmist and his treasure-loving posse. Thank you all for reading ! If you have any questions or any suggestions as to what I should cover next, please don’t hesitate to contact me on Discord, I would be happy to hear any suggestions or ideas that you might have ! (Bloom#8890) That’s all for now, Cardfighters ! See ya next time. Bloom, aka thebudgetgarden.

KISSED BY THE BADDEST BIDDER MAIN ROUTE REVIEW
hey! so i just finished watching kaylaslovely on youtube’s review of the main five (+ rhion) bidders routes and so i thought i would make my own review, because i felt like it. so here you go!
i will be reviewing all nine main routes, or main stories. each story will be rated using these five categories: plot, pace, romance, mc (since she’s different in every story) and love interest. at the end, i’ll give the story its final rating and i’ll let you know whether i recommend it or not.
i will try not to include any spoilers, but just in case, consider this your spoiler warning!
remember, these are my personal opinions.
summary: you are a maid at a hotel called the tres spade hotel, owned by the ichinomiya group. one day, you get dragged into the ivc (an exclusive party for the elite, held inside the hotel) and you basically get lost. while you’re wandering around the area, you enter a storage room where a lot of expensive items are held. little did you know, those items belonged to a blackmarket auction, the ivc was only a cover for said auction. being the clumsy queen that you are, you manage to bump into the statue of venus and knock it over. when the men responsible for the expensive items find you, they throw you into a giant birdcage and put you up for auction instead of the statue.
from here, you can pick one of the main five love interest (eisuke, soryu, mitsunari, mamoru and ota) to buy you. the other love interest (except for rhion) only appear in the second/third season, they purchase you from eisuke (presuming eisuke bought you but you never fell in love). rhion is part of an “au”, but his story technically takes place in season one. does that make sense? okay, perfect. now, on to the review!
EISUKE ICHINOMIYA: THE ARROGANT CEO
plot: 8/10, the plot is a cliche and fairly overused trope... but i love it. it’s well executed and feels unique and original, even though the core of the plot really isn’t.
pace: 8/10, in my opinion, i think the pace was very good. it wasn’t too slow or too fast (although it leaned on the slower side) and i feel like mc fell in love with eisuke at an appropriate time in the story. the ending felt slightly rushed but i feel like that’s a common theme with love 365 stories.
romance: 7/10, not as romantic as other routes (i mean, it’s eisuke we’re talking about), especially at the beginning, but there were moments that made me smile.
mc: 6/10, she’s definitely a bit of a pushover in this route. i wish she stood up to eisuke more, i wish she was sassier, it would’ve made the story sooo much funnier!
love interest: 7/10, eisuke’s kind of a jerk in this story, but hey at least he’s entertaining? (he has his cute moments tho)
final score: 72% (b-)
recommendation: sure? to be honest, it was pretty okay, a little boring compared to the other routes but for the low low price of literally 0$ (his main route is free), it’s not bad.
SORYU OH: THE COLD MOBSTER
plot: 9/10, i really liked his plot! i’ll admit, i’m not a fan of gang related stories, in fact, i usually hate them, but soryu’s story genuinely surprised me! i especially loved the fact that mc made a female friend along the way, usually other females in stories are seen as rivals (as in eisuke’s case), but it wasn’t the case here and that made me really happy. we support women in his household <3
pace: 7/10, the ending was really rushed in my opinion, like way more rushed than the usual rushed love 365 ending. when it ended i was like, “are you serious?” it just felt abrupt. the rest was fine tho.
romance: 8/10, the romance was subtle (due to soryu’s cold and mysterious demeanor), but you could definitely feel it. there was sooo much chemistry between the characters, so it felt really romantic.
mc: 8/10, she’s a little boring, but at least she’s relatable, like her actions/choices make sense in this story.
love interest: 9/10, c’mon, who doesn’t love soryu? there’s a reason why the whole fandom simps for this man. he’s the perfect mix of cold and innocent, and his reaction to regular people things (like going to the supermarket) is hilarious! he’s really sweet too and you can tell that he really cares for mc.
final score: 82% (a-)
recommendation: yes! even if you don’t like gang related stories, i’d still give his route a chance.
MITSUNARI BABA: THE WOMANIZING THIEF
plot: 9/10, i really loved the plot. it’s basically a romcom with action and criminal activity, it’s gold.
pace: 8/10, there were some parts that felt rushed, but overall i think the pace was fine.
romance: 10/10, the most romantic story of them all (i don’t expect any less from baba). their interactions are so cute and i loved watching them get closer and more comfortable with each other.
mc: 8/10, even though she’s kind of dumb, it works because this story is more comedic, her naivety and trusting nature helped the plot advance rather than disrupting it. she’s also really sassy in this story, i loved watching her shoot down baba!
love interest: 9/10, i love baba! i love the womanizer character trope, i know it’s an unpopular opinion but i still love it. he’s actually a total dork and he has the best lines, i smiled throughout the whole story!
final score: 88% (a)
recommendation: it’s one of my favorite main stories, so i definitely recommend it! however, if you don’t like romcoms or womanizers, you’ll probably hate this story lol
MAMORU KISHI: THE SLACKER DETECTIVE
plot: 8/10, his plot is intense. it’s action packed, there’s twists and turns and it definitely kept me on my toes. however, it is a little hard to keep up with at times, i definitely had moments where i got lost.
pace: 8/10, like mitsunari’s story, the pace was a little inconsistent, there were times when scenes felt rushed, idk if it was on purpose because it was a more “action-y” story, but even some of the “romantic” moments felt rushed.. which was a shame because there weren’t many.
romance: 7/10, it wasn’t very romantic, honestly. they had their cute moments, but they were rare. they have good chemistry, like the best friends you hardcore ship, but there just wasn’t much actual romance. i would compare their relationship to judy and nick in zootopia, like friends but a little more.
mc: 5/10, the mc actually bites back in this story, which is refreshing. however, she nags mamoru a lot, and i got sick of it really fast, to the point where i’d roll my eyes whenever she opened her mouth towards the end of the story. she acts like mamoru is a child incapable of taking care of himself, yet she gets angry when he calls her “kid” or treats her like one? wtf? ALSO, one third of the story is her being jealous of a dead person, which is literally so unreasonable and illogical. i could rant about her all day i swear.
love interest: 9/10, mamoru is so relatable, it’s not even funny. i love the way he speaks and i love the way he reacts in situations. he acts like he doesn’t care, but you know damn well the man cares more about mc than anyone else. he’s also surprisingly patient (which, few bidders are), as i said, the mc is really immature in this story, and even tho he acts annoyed, he never actually gets angry at her. there’s something really cozy about him.
final score: 74% (b)
recommendation: if you like action packed stories, i would recommend this story! with that being said, the mc really ruined it for me.
OTA KISAKI: THE DECEPTIVE ARTIST
plot: 5/10, it was too predictable. literally three chapters in i was like, “oh, i see where this is going” and sadly i was right! it was really dramatic, which i actually enjoyed, but the overly predictable plot ruined it for me.
pace: 7/10, the pace was fine, however i feel like mc realized she was in love with ota at the wrong time. i wished they would’ve picked a different moment (maybe later) in the story to make her realize she’s in love with him, or just change the scene completely. because it was like one moment she just saw him as her buyer and at the snap of a finger she’s in love with him, like what?
romance: 5/10, there was literally one romantic scene in the whole story. there were some other cute moments but they were completely overshadowed by ota’s attitude. also, the whole dog fetish really turned me off, especially because the mc was clearly uncomfortable with it.
mc: 7/10, i feel bad for her. she’s really submissive and shy in this story, but like it makes sense (i would act the same as her tbh, i’d be too weirded out to give any sass), so she gets a pass.
love interest: 4/10, ota is so unlikeable in the first season omg i’d almost forgotten how much i used to hate him. however, he becomes really sweet after season 3, you just have to suffer through the first seasons lmao
final score: 56% (d)
recommendation: i really like ota but that story was not it. i wouldn’t waste my coins, honestly. if you really wanna read ota, read one of his substories or any story after season 3, don’t bother with his main route. however, his cg’s were one of the prettiest, so hooray?
SHUICHI HISHIKURA: THE ALOOF POLITICIAN
plot: 8/10, i liked this plot. it felt more serious than the other stories, but that wasn’t a bad thing.
pace: 7/10, same problem as soryu’s story, the last chapters were hella rushed and it made the falling action pretty confusing.
romance: 7/10, it wasn’t very “romantic”, but there were definitely scenes were you could really feel the attraction between the two. i find they compliment each other well.
mc: 8/10, this story was not meant to be a comedy, but the mc made it one. she’s so stupid that it’s actually hilarious, i honestly couldn’t stop laughing at her cluelessness. usually i’d find stupidity annoying, but in this story, i loved it. it made the heavy storyline easier to digest.
love interest: 9/10, shuichi’s a vengeful bitch, which makes his soft moments that much cuter. i like how he has his quirks, and how he has a professional stoic side as well as a soft caring side.
final score: 78% (b+)
recommendation: yeah, for sure. however, if you don’t enjoy the stoic stern hard-to-read type, you might not enjoy this story.
HIKARU AIHARA: THE MYSTERIOUS HITMAN
plot: 9/10, i really enjoyed this plot. it was like a romcom mixed with a dark-ish drama, it was really unique.
pace: 8/10, the pace of the story was good, however i felt like there was a bit of repetition in the story, in scenes and in dialogue.
romance: 7/10, i absolutely love hikaru and mc’s bantering! i think they’re so cute and it’s just really funny to read. it’s subtlety romantic and you can definitely tell that they like each other. with that being said, hikaru’s treatment of mc at the beginning of the story really ticked me off.
mc: 9/10, okay, she had her annoying moments like she always does, but the mc is so funny in this story! she reminds me of the mc from our private homeroom. i really liked her.
love interest: 9/10, here’s the thing, if you don’t like tsundere’s... you’ll fucking hate hikaru, because he’s a tsundere to the max. i love tsundere’s sooo, yeah i loved him hihi. he’s fucking adorable and his dishonesty towards his feelings is really cute. he’s also a sad boy, which made me have a soft spot for him.
final score: 84% (a-)
recommendation: honestly, i did not enjoy this story the first time i read it. i think it was because i didn’t understand hikaru’s sense of humor at the beginning, so i thought he was just a dick and mc was an idiot for liking him, but when i reread it after reading a couple of hikaru’s substories, i actually liked it. so, if you like tsundere’s i’d definitely recommend this story, if not, steer clear.
LUKE FOSTER: THE GOOD DOCTOR
plot: 9/10, i liked it! it felt a lot sadder/darker than the other plots, but it wasn’t overly depressing. there were lighthearted moments throughout and i like how luke gave mc a job instead of using her for personal gain or pushing her around all day. it was also surprisingly intense, with a few steamier scenes here and there.
pace: 8/10, the pace was pretty good, but like hikaru’s route there were scenes that made me go “i feel like i’ve read this before...” there was a rhythm to the story, or at least that’s what it felt like.
romance: 8/10, this story was definitely more intense than romantic. they still had their cute moments though, especially towards the end.
mc: 6/10, the mc is so nosy, impatient and short tempered in this story omg. she’s so quick to judgement and she has no sympathy towards luke for like the first 11 episodes of the story which really bothered me. also, she didn’t seem to understand luke’s way of showing affection and it got a little frustrating. she’s just exceptionally bad at reading people.
love interest: 8/10. if you love sad sweet boys who are surprisingly hot, you’ll love him. his collarbone obsession might weird some people out, but i found it hilarious and it was the perfect way to balance such a sad story.
final score: 78% (b+)
recommendation: if you like sad yet cute stories, i think you’ll really like this one.
RHION HATTER: THE MAD AUCTIONEER
plot: 10/10, his plot is amazing! it’s so adorable, innocent and unique, all while somehow managing to make me a little emo. rhion’s also the only bidder (besides luke) who didn’t use mc for personal gain, he actually bought her for some sort of companionship which was really refreshing (wow, the bar is set low yikes).
pace: 9/10, the pace was really great, it’s a slow burn too, which i love, but the last couple of episodes felt a little rushed.
romance: 10/10, it’s probably as (or maybe even more) romantic than baba’s story. there are so many cute moments, even when mc and rhion don’t really know each other yet. the romance is really sweet and pure, but it feels so real.
mc: 9/10, i love how she interacts with rhion! she’s relatable in this story and her actions are sensible, she has a mind of her own and she isn’t afraid to speak it.
love interest: 9/10, it’s rhion. he’s so precious! his shy and sweet nature is such a nice change from the other bidders and i really love how he slowly opens up to mc. also i think his alter ego of the mad hatter is really cool!
final score: 94% (a+)
recommendation: it’s my favorite story on the app for a reason. i definitely recommend it, even if you’re more into the sexy stories, i still think you should give rhion’s main route a chance! i made my friend who isn’t even into otome games play it and she really liked it.
FINAL RATING: ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆
i’ll admit, trying to look past the human trafficking bs was really difficult at first, but if you can manage to turn a blind eye to it and try to remember that it’s just a video game and everything’s fictional, it’s pretty good. the love interests are great, there’s some action, there’s a some drama and there’s a lot of humor. the sub stories are really good too!

Im calling this the faberry files cos I feel like a spy when I'm really just very gay
This is just basically timestamps of every faberry moment I could find as I was rewatching season 1-3. I don't know if anyone wants to see it but I just put it here cos why not. I wasn't really planning on posting it but here we are so it features my gay ass commentary. Anyway there u go.
gay ass looks-
-1x04- so far I’ve seen a gay ass look Quinn gives Rachel at 35:36
-1x05-39:50-not that gay but a little bit, also long
-1x09-43:02 she looks so adoring
-1x10-during endless love
-1x11-9:37 voiceover is mean but just look at those eyes and tell me I’m wrong,34:00 she literally looks so adoringly I can’t
-1x12-10:41 pretends not to see her only to look straight (or not) at her
-1x15-35:02 they’re even talking about love at the time and sitting weirdly close for enemies
-1x16-41:30
-1x20-43:06 I can’t really see where she’s looking under those long ass lashes but I think when Rachel does that little giggle she stares at her while smiling, might just be Faberry goggles tho
-1x22-9:05 I think thats like the cutest smile my little gay heart, 14:23 Quinn is fully checking her out rn like not even subtle they’re on stage
-2x04 16:12, 41:48 at Rachel singing
-2x07-23:19 that could in no way be regarded as a platonic look of enjoying the song, especially since its just started
-2x09- 43:04 part of dog days but its just so cute them holding hands also weird since they are still meant to hate each other lol
-2x10-6:03 this could just be my Faberry goggles but im counting it :D, 31:20 staring at Rachel while she looks sad
-2x11-11:04 could be at puck but she was looking at Rachel before when they were further apart so imma take the w also Diana looks really cute in this bit
-2x16- 4:27 is being kinda mean but also the way she looks at her <3<3<3 :DD also 5:21 if u don’t want to wait through a bit of a scene and the look then is suuuuper gay, 43:17 she looks so proud of her girlfriend :DDDDD
-2x18-52:49 she looks like such a proud girlfriend in this bit
-2x21-1:29 its only a quick look from Quinn tho
-3x06-28:26 Quinn gives Rachel the GAYEST lingering look at the end of the song (unless my eyes deceive me but I don’t think they do cos I’ve checked like 3 times :DDD)
-3x07- 25:00 this is possible the outright gayest look from Quinn ive ever seen, its during one of the songs but I had to put it in
-3x08- 41:10 the look of joy on Quinns face when Rachel touches her shoulder is just pure gay energy
-3x14- 17:27 ‘for the rest of my life’ looks at Quinn, ffs just get married already, 24:07 she literally bites her lip like wth how is this not canon
-3x19- 39:08 kind of but Quinn looks really happy when he says Rachel Berryand its so cute
Scenes together-
-before I had this idea- the “eavesdrop much” talk, and a couple of other things e.g. the ru Paul scene and the sweetie scene.
-1x05-41:59 during somebody to love weird foot tap thing
-1x06- 18:34 gay ass looks as well, 22:58
-1x07-21:45, 28:53 (the you obviously have a lot you need to express scene), 32:07 they just get wierdly closer for no reason
-1x09-26:09 not much but still
-1x13-3:06, 11:01
-1x15-34:18 sitting really close together next to each other when they’re meant to not like each other?
-1x20-5:42 they also sit really close and a bit of gay staring
-2x02 35:40 (on left of stage next to mike) they’re seen really close and talking, 38:55 standing unreasonably close and also in weird positions for a conversation, 31:28 Quinn looks really sad when Rachel sings to Finn (could also be a Fuinn thing tho so idk)
-2x04 28:11
-2x08-9:44
-2x13- 30:51
-2x14-8:19 its shortcut the level of gay panic on Quinns face is enough for its own spot
-2x15-0:03 how closeted is it to be the only two in the celibacy club fighting over a guy that neither of them want or need lmao I just think its really funny
-2x16-9:31 the level of gay panic on racehls face when she says she’s right is just a mood, 22:27 I think this is a scene about miscommunication and Quinn blatantly states that she thinks Rachel is much better than Finn and that she believes in her I have a lot of feelings about this scene but ill leave it at that
-2x17-16:20
-2x18-2:38 not much tho, 10:53 they’re being civil and touchy feely also leads into pretty/unpretty, 21:50 when it pans to Quinn it makes it seem like it would be a Fuinn jealousy scene but she doesn’t look jealous at all just a bit sad i think she possibly is worried about Rachel and while she understands (which is why she’s helping) she wants her to feel beautiful in her own skin sorry if I read a bit too far in lol
-2x20-29:42, 33:12, 35:30 I love how finn last episode said Quinn was so closed off with her feelings and then this scene like maybe she can be herself around Rachel idk
-3x01-10:57 Skank Quinn fully checks Rachel out as she’s leaving in this scene also right after a scene where she said she’s not interested in the boys
-3x05-22:55 talking about finchel tho
-3x08-0:00, 21:54, 37:48
-3x11-14:28,20:00 is also a gay ass look but shes talking to Rachel so I put it here
-3x12-13:09 she only taps Rachel tho
-3x13-15:43 Quinn is acting like the stereotypical ‘gentleman’ and its very Faberry canon esque, to put it the best can
-3x14-34:28 this scene I just can’t the way Quinn lights up when she see her and her voice softens a bit and what she said this is the gayest scene no-one can explain it it a hetero way just ahh
-3x15-10:28 they’re holding hands :DD
-3x19-31:48
-3x22-23:12 those tickets cost so much money I swear they should have been way better friends after high school pft, 40:15 Quinn looks so proud of her girlfriend
Possible scenes, could be just drama-
-1x09-29:27 could be at Rachel
-2x10-12:40 kind of about being sad about Finn but could be jealousy?
-2x16- 34:47 could be about Faberry but is framed as finchel or fuinn
-2x17- 37:28 probably just finchel drama but still Faberry jealousy
-2x18-17:16 they say how they’re ‘fighting about Rachel again’ and Im putting it in idc about finchel :DD
-2x19- 23:19 more about Fuinn like always in this category but Faberry jealousy
-2x22-2:27, 3:29, 8:25 finchel/fuinn/faberry jealousy
Sitting really close when they’re meant to not like each other-
-1x15-34:18
-1x19-32:33
-1x20-19:16 in the scene Quinn kinda checks her out but then they stand really close so I put it here
-2x02 23:24 sits really close to Rachel when she dresses in her Britney Spears costume and in the scene Quinn looks like she’s purposefully trying not to look at her and at 29:20 Quinn chose to sit right behind Rachel again, 39:52 seen sitting right behind her again
-2x10- 35:03 standing really close when it would make a difference if Quinn stood anywhere else (e.g. next to her friends or boyfriend) I just think its weird lol
-2x15- 6:28 (before Quinn starts plotting against Rachel, they’re in celibacy club together but all they do is argue so its still a bit weird)
-3x07- 4:54
I dont know where to put this-
-2x17- 35:10 they kinda just look a bit nervous and small interaction I just wanted to add this because I thought it was cute the way they moved around each other idk
-2x20- 14:46 Rachel knows Quinns eyes so well she knows the flower and colour of the ribbon (also gardenias are for secret love which it would surprise me if Rachel already knew)
-3x04-20:26 Rachel isn’t sitting near her boyfriend or anyone she’s even really friends with its a bit weird that shed be sitting in the corner right next to Quinn away from the other chairs

while I’m On One, I sometimes use “non-traditional sized” instead of “plus-size” because it feels more inclusive/less judgmental or offensive?
Or maybe “non-standard sized”.
My issue with “plus” is that it’s kind of the catchall for everyone not size 0-10 between 5 feet-5 feet 6 inches, and also is often treated as its own separate category where you have “Men’s”, “Women’s” “Plus (but specifically for Women)”, “Kids” and if you’re lucky they’ll put “Women’s Plus” and not just “Plus”.
One thing I notice is that, on Old Navy and Torrid (those are the ones I see it the most), you’ll have a brand-new item that’s already almost sold out in almost all “plus” sizes because it’s a decent/nice item and women aren’t going to wait for any discounts or offers because it’ll be sold out of their size by then.
(Speaking of torrid, they are really bad about how many of their branded items are not only Excluded from Promotions but also some of the most expensive items there. Fortunately, a ton of it is Disney branded stuff and so I can just not bother with it for the most part.)
(Also, Loft is really bad about the clothing options/range in their plus, and their “non-plus” models look very “non-plus” which makes for a really noticeable contrast.)

My Gear of the Year for 2020
I haven’t done one of these since 2016, but I also haven’t gotten this much new (to me) gear since then.
1. Sony 24mm f/1.4 G Master
While I like all the gear that I've purchased this year, my favorite things are ones that let me take photographs in ways that I couldn't before. Naturally, the drone is the champion of this category but this large aperture wide angle lens is not far behind in terms of opening new opportunities and trumps it on things like image quality by a country mile. A lot of my favorite photographs have been night time shots and this thing is perfect for that. In fact, it may actually be my favorite lens of all time.
2. DJI Mavic Mini
I've thought about getting a drone for years, but the complicated nature of registering with the government and having follow a number of poorly explained laws to fly kept me away. DJI's sub 250 gram coupled with the pandemic were able to push me over the edge to start flying.
3. Fuji X100V
While the X100V doesn't do a lot that my other cameras can't, it does it all in an amazingly stylish way. It's a beautiful camera that feels like a work of art in the hand and actively makes you want to go use it. It also solved pretty much every issue I had about the X100F to the point where I can't imagine where they take the series of cameras in the future.
4. PanasonicLUMIX G VARIO 45-150 mm / F4. 0-5.6 ASPH. / MEGA O.I.S
I got this when I picked up the GX7 and I actually like it more than the camera itself. It's not going to win any awards for sharpness or speed but it is so freaking small for a telephoto that I don't even care. I've always stayed away from telephotos for the most part because how much space they take up in a bag and how much weight they put on my shoulders. This lens solves those problems and lets me shoot in a way I normally can't.
5. 7Artisans 25mm f/1.8
Although I mainly use the telephoto zoom with my GX7, this little 50mm equivalent is quite the lens for $70 new. It's best feature is its superb close focusing ability, which I used to shoot the majority of the photos in this list.
6. Panasonic LUIMIX GX7 + Lumix G Vario 12-32mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH
While a 2013 Micro Four Thirds camera isn't nearly as inspiring as something like a Fuji X100V, it has a lot of character and is surprisingly modern for something pushing a decade. Image quality admittedly can't hold up against modern APS-C sensors (let alone full frame), but the relatively small lenses are a nice tradeoff. The lens the camera came with is a rather ho-hum affair, but it folds into itself enough to make the camera fit in jacket pocket. I haven't quite put the camera or the kit lens through its proper paces yet due to the ongoing pandemic and the fact that it gets dark a little after 5:00pm these days, but hopefully I can really use it this summer.
7. Lightpix Labs Flash Q20II
These great little flashes were a gift from my mom and girlfriend. They have little wireless transmitters built into the base so you can detach them and use them as radio triggered wireless flashes. I haven't gotten much use out of them yet but maybe I'll get out and shoot with them more once I get vaccinated.
8. Domke F-5XB
I got this small shoulder bag as a replacement/compliment to my Peak Design Everyday Sling 5L. It holds a lot less than the Peak Design, but I think it looks nicer. It also has a grippy side which makes it less prone to shoulder slipping compared to other bags I own. Domke was also originally started by a Philly-based photographer so that's pretty cool. I also probably shouldn’t have tried to put this in the lightbox because it super doesn’t fit.
9. Hahnel Procube 2
This is a multi-battery charger that can charge two batteries at once and has a digital readout. The cool thing about it is that it has interchangeable plates so you can charge batteries from different manufactures. The Sony model I have here can charge the bigger Z batteries, those smaller batteries that the APS-C and older full frame cameras used, and the batteries for the RX100 cameras (because you know I'll probably get one of those again 😂).

My current obsession is with the Arms of the Betrayers, evil sentient swords are hella sexy. What are your thoughts on them?
Arms of the Betrayers: A Sexy Review
Blade of Broken Mirrors: Now, Tharizdun is an absolute LOSER god, which is why it blows my mind that the sexiest of the blades (look at that name!) is his doing. Looks like a stone blade with a maze inscription, understated while also recalling ancient sacrificial weapons? Killer aesthetic. It just subtly uses your own personality to manipulate you into being more reckless (like dagger wielders aren’t already fans of living dangerously) and then gives you a whole bunch of invisibility and illusion spells to make it easier? Fantastic. You can look like whatever person you killed with this blade? The other stuff is great, but this feature catapults it to Big Sexy, 100000/10, dagger dagger dagger bitch
Grovelthrash: Both the name and the carvings of faces screaming in pain are a little hammy, a little obvious, but I suppose obvious is what you’re going for when you’re beating someone over the head with a warhammer. Honestly just a good bro of a weapon–sure it’s evil, but it’s happy with the simple pleasures of killing and getting loot, and also a polite being that compliments you for doing these things and having a good time! Praise kink! A great pal for a career adventurer. Burrowing through stuff is also a fun time. 6/10, in the Marry category of Fuck Marry Kill
Lash of Shadows: Uninspired name, and inaccurate. This is a poison weapon, what is this “shadows” nonsense about? Maybe Zehir was tired of coming up with names for his sneapons (snake weapons). However, what this has going for it is the inherent sexiness of whips (yassss) live snakes (YASSSSS) and poison (YAAAASSSSSSS) Unfortunately the weapon’s personality is a huge turnoff, as it is completely unhinged and has a short temper. 3/10, needs to stop lashing out
Mace of the Black Crown: Tasteful name and design. Regal, subtly goth color palette, and a corkscrew handle so you feel like you’re gripping the horn of the Devil, if you catch my meaning. Enters your dreams (always a sexy feature) but instead of being a creep it just sensibly talks tactics with you like a good war general. Just wants some more souls for the Nine Hells. And you can summon devils with this, for those of you with a power kink. (7/10, basically banging your straight-laced military advisor)
Ruin’s Wake: A simple but beautiful name, to the point, and with 0 goth color palette in the design, which is cutting edge evil fashion. Making a weapon from bone is all the goth you need! A HYMN is inscribed in the blade, and turns out if you sing it you can help your friends! Lightning! Unfortunately an absolute snooze in all other respects, wanting nothing more complicated than violence and doing nothing more fun than bloodshed. (2/10, no electricity)
Silken Spite: This rapier is always in your corner, to the degree that it will encourage you to murder anyone who even mildly offends you. But then again, everyone needs a “chop his dick off” friend in their lives. The whispering voice is sexy and probably gives you ASMR tingles as you wield it. Turns you into a teleporting spider of darkness, who can walk on walls, is a wonderful mobility aid. Also probably has some lovely lingerie, if the name is any indication (8/10, itsy bitsy spider climbs up the water spout)
The Bloody End: The most egotistical name, or is it a sexy confidence? Will demand others bow down to you if you’re too modest to demand fealty yourself…..and don’t we all want someone who will treat us like royalty? Simple jagged black adamantine, sporting the little black dress of evil weapons. Mind control, fear and charm are in its arsenal, which might raise a few eyebrows in some circles and engender fantasies in others (9/10, is mind fucking you right now)
Will of the Talon: Unlike Zehir, Tiamat leans into the dragon angle when naming her weapon, but only manages to confuse the issue. The claw itself is the one with will? The goal is to at least give the wielder the illusion they’re in control, right? The look is ostentatious, not unlike a 12 year old given too many bedazzling sticker gems. Lets you breathe fire like a dragon (sexy!!) but the “demanding” personality and greediness makes the war pick unnecessarily high-maintenance. (-1/10, just a gold digger)
