ok look no matter what, i think ill always be obsessed with dl-6. i know, its kinda overused at this point, but the whole thing is so amazing

like,, miles obviously didn’t know he was innocent, but gregory didnt either. when they channeled him he said it was the bailiff (forgot his name srry) even though there was no proof, because he wanted to protect his son. and the result of a child convinced he is guilty for the death of his dad, who even after death tried to find a way to reassure him he was innocent??? just- the concept of this relationship is fascinating, and honestly has so much potential.

and then you add von karma, and the fact he was not only the murderer of the father but the adopter of the son??? just makes everything gets better (worse)

dl-6 will forever live in my head and in my heart bcs the overwhelming guilt at least two of the three must have felt!! (depends on your headcannons about manfred ofc, maybe he was slightly guilty or smth) the psychological impact and the aftermath of it? amazing. maybe its not perfectly written, nothing is, but its fascinating and makes me want to dissect all three’s brains to see the effects this would have caused.

Watched Wendy Rocket's very good Franmaya vid and am now filled with Franmaya ideas. Dunno if I can write these, so I am offering them out here.

Franmaya taking care of Trucy together and being mistaken for a couple. Can either get them flustered so they confess or make them laugh because they are a couple, they should HOPE they look like one!

Franmaya double date with Kay and Ema. Franziska and Ema can talk prosecutors until they run into awkward, Kay and Maya can get close to throwing hands until they vibe and unite over singing Franziska's praises, Ema and Maya can bond over being the weird girl and talk about the times they've been involved in murders. Kay can join in on that one as well!

Franmaya wingmanning for the baby gays, Athena and Juniper. Maya cheering on Athena, Franziska giving straightforward advice to Juniper, Maya giving Juniper fun ideas to spring on Athena to express her feelings, and Athena fangirling over Franziska. (I will die on the hill that Athena should have a hero crush on Franziska okay, it would make sense and be so cute.)

I’m glad you liked them 😭💖 tbh, Maya was a total extra character that wouldn’t appear for a long, LONG time, but I decided she’s gonna accompany Ethan cuz she’s too cool to just disappear🤙🏽 (and now I’m dying to rethink the whole story omg send help)

Hmmm I dunno what to say about Ethan without spoiling but, geez, he’s hard to write. His description is apparently simple: shy, insecure guy who wants to be loved. Simple. SO SIMPLE THAT IS HARD TO MAKE HIM LOOK LIKE A PROTAGONIST. He was made to be a normal guy amidst the weirdos, but because of this, it’s troublesome to highlight his own characteristics. Like, everything is related to somebody else, the drama is because of someone else… he doesn’t have any “active” decisions, and it’s annoying me 😭😭

I hope he gets to improve and realize he is not a spectator of his own life. He needs to act by himself, to do what he wants, and stop living for others. MOVE, BOY!

Ya Jaane Na bc i wanted to feel good today and revisit a little bit of nostalgia and i was in the romcom mood so. here we are. anyway, this movie is like Camp Excellence, and also astonishingly well directed, i'm glad young me had great taste, this movie is very much from the year 2008, but, along with Mamma Mia! which somehow also released in 2008, nothing else even comes close to making me love love and life as this does.

In response to this prompt for a star trek AU

I thought it would be so fun for Maya’s psychic powers to be flipped into Betazoid’s emotional ESP. Franziska is a Vulcan because of her somewhat rigid beliefs. I imagine she went to the Vulcan Science Academy before deciding to become an ambassador. Manfred von Karma’s pressure on her to succeed might mirror Sarek and Spock. While she hungers to succeed and puts up a logical, perfectly non-emotional front, Maya’s Betazoid powers are able to sense past that into what she’s truly feeling.

I don’t have enough time or energy to write a full fic about this, but here’s what I imagine their first interaction would look like that leads up to the scene in the drawing: Franziska boards the Federation ship Maya is serving aboard to get to some sort of diplomatic rendezvous location, and en route they encounter some sort of unknown alien threat that leaves them isolated from the rest of the crew. Perhaps Maya tries using her powers to understand the pain of some alien creature, and Franziska has to mind meld with her to relieve the mental and physical stress. They’re able to save the day and get back onboard, and Franziska is planning on ignoring the whole thing to suppress the strange feelings of connection she experienced. Maya corners her and has the conversation depicted in the drawing. They go to Ten Forward for their date and have a lovely time.
