Meggy is basically abandoned on the side of the road by her parents shortly after she hatched but luckily she was found by Mario and Luigi not long after who decide to take in the little rascal (al this happened pre-gaurdian pod so mario was still pretty much his canon self) obviously this leads to some... Changes in most SMG4 episodes mainly because now there's a chaotic squid child running around with ridiculous jumping and acrobatic skills (comes with being raised by someone named Jump-Man I guess)

Mario and Lou end up also going to Inkadia sooner cause ofc they want their little sister to know about her culture and of course her OG splatsquad members will be there and they will be the chaotic kids friend group (yes Heavy Squid is the single brain cell holder) this also means that Mario and Luigi meet Wren (after narrowly getting a double heart attack from Meggy slipping into the turf war arena) which leads to some delicious angst in a certain western matrix movie

Meggy also gets her own hand ability called Froststand after accidentally finding a frost covered temple during a trip back into the Bean bean Kingdom

Hi! I’m really not an expert on Isabella of Angouleme so I'm probably not the best person to ask for recommendations for her. Here are some I've heard of, though I haven't read all of them:

"Isabella of Angouleme: John's Jezebel" by Nicholas Vincent (King John: New Interpretations). I haven't read it myself but I've heard good things!

“Maternal Abandonment and Surrogate Caregivers: Isabella of Angoulême and Her Children by King John” by Louise J. Wilkinson (Virtuous or Villainess? The Image of the Royal Mother from the Early Medieval to the Early Modern Era). It focuses more-so on Isabella's tenure as queen, the period shortly after John's death, and her decision to leave England. Despite what the title may imply, it's sympathetic to Isabella and analyzes her situation in detail.

“Co-Operation, Co-Rulership and Competition: Queenship in the Angevin Domains 1135-1230” by Gabrielle Storey, her PHD thesis which collectively focuses on Isabella of Angouleme along with Empress Matilda, Eleanor of Aquitaine, and Berengaria of Navarre. You can read/download it here, it's an excellent piece for all four women.

Sally Spong has written/is writing:

Isabella of Angouleme: The Vanished Queen (Norman to Early Plantagenet Consorts). You can see her conclusion here. It's nuanced and sympathetic, though not without its issues and pre-conceived notions.

Isabella of Gloucester and Isabella of Angouleme: Female Lordship, Queenship, Power, and Authority 1189-1220 (PHD thesis University of East Anglia).

“Isabelle d’Angouleme, By the Grace of God, Queen” by William Chester Jordan. You can read it online here, though I will say that it's ... very very questionable, accepting the sensational claims of lot of unreliable sources (including the idea of John abducting Isabella in a fit of uncontrollable infatuation) entirely at face-value.

“The Marriage and Coronation of Isabelle of Angouleme” by H.G. Richardson, available here on JSTOR.

Isabella has also been the subject of two complete French biographies till date:

"Isabelle d’Angoulême, reine d’Angleterre" (Aquitaine: 1998) by Sophie Fougere.

"Isabelle d’Angoulême, comtesse-reine et son temps (1186-1246)" [Actes du colloque tenu à Lusignan, 8 au 10 novembre 1996] by Gabriel Biancotto, Robert Favreau and Piotr Skubiszewski.

There are also a few blog posts about her (here and here) which may help if you want a brief overview of her life, though they can get a little sensationalistic sometimes.

(tysm for your ask it takes a while to make art so writing is fun) Its the beginning of the end for the Lamb. This is after the ending of the game, all the bishops and Narinder are as followers and the four crowns are without owners. This is something the Mystic Seller is willing to turn into an opportunity for control, seen in my previous drawings/comics. A being above the fray and the creatures struggling for their own power. The Lamb, as the only crown vessel at this time, is in the unique position to be placed at the top of a new heirarchy. This is, however, only possible if they agree to it. It is safe to say the Lamb has reached Ascension and achieved godhood with the sacrifice of a purely devoted follower. A follower with unique ties and strong bonds to the Lamb, required as trade with the Mystic Seller. What this means for the cult, for the bishops, and everyone tied to the Lamb, theres more coming on that. If theres specifics yall are curious about such as leshycat or certain bishops, cultist ocs, etc, send an ask :)

Got Calvinball'd by @kanerallels and @singswan-springswan, so here's a bit of the TLC/Rebels AU I started writing this morning instead of just rambling about the plot idea like I was supposed to *side eyes my bad impulse control*

Sabine yelped in surprise as a blur of orange vaulted over her table, and a voice hissed “Please don’t tell them I’m here!” It didn’t take long to figure out who the “them” was, because a second later, three angry boys shoved through the marketplace, looking around. One of them approached her stall, and the kid who’d thrown himself over the countertop crouched as low as he could, so the guy couldn’t see him over the table. Sabine didn’t like bullies. And those boys looked like bullies to her. “Can I help you?” Sabine asked. The guy glared at her. “I said,” Sabine repeated, standing, meaningfully resting her hand on a wrench. “Can I help you?” He scowled and stormed off without a word, and Sabine sat back down and then swiveled in her chair to look at the kid and demand answers. And Sabine froze. He was dressed in casual clothes, but they couldn’t disguise him from her. The net connection in her mind whirled, flashing up lines of information in her bionic eyes as her brain put the pieces together. Ezra Bridger. Age—15. Royalty. Orphan. Under the guardianship of the Prince Regent up until his 18th birthday— She realized with a jolt that he was staring right back at her, and she gulped down her disappointment as she wondered what she’d done to give herself away. Maybe one of her sleeves had ridden up when she stood, revealing a glint of metal wrists. Or maybe he’d somehow already heard about the cyborg mechanic in the marketplace. Or maybe— Still staring goggle-eyed at her, he grinned and whispered a breathless, “Hey.” Or maybe, Sabine realized, a little bit relieved and a little bit amused, he just thought she was cute.

Oswald rlly doesn’t go anywhere besides Gotham but Elliot would try and get him to take him other places because he (not so) secretly hates the city bc it’s so dangerous … it rlly depends on the era tho like mayor Ozzy would take him anywhere he wanted (probably amusement parks and aquariums and stuff)

TECHNICALLY yes … the bros as kids is something I think about a lot . Oswald would initially be pissed to have another kid in the house taking his mom’s attention and making her worry and stuff so he hates the baby . but then one day Gertrud asks him to hold baby Elliot and he does so begrudgingly because his mom asked but the Ellie smiles at him and grabs his finger . the it clicks that he’s gonna protect this kid with his whole life because that’s his baby brother !!!

for the sake of mysteriousness (and because i want to), the poll to pick the next kid/kids will simply have a last name, not the names of their parents or how many kids are in the family. Some pairings in this au have multiple kids, and there are also some kids with parents you wouldn’t expect, so for fun im just gonna have you pick from a single last name.

(in case this still doesn’t make any sense cause i’m bad at explaining things: say Asher was in this poll. For him, the option would simply be “Brofloski,” cause it wouldn’t give away Stan as his other parent and wouldn’t give away any siblings he hypothetically had, it would just let you know that Kyle had a kid and the rest would be a surprise)

This is technically a blog for the older people of tumblr (aka please no 17 and under people here as that's the kind of stuff likely going to be seen here is unsuitable for yous if your under 18.)

I made this fanblog to dedicate a place for everything relating to @heartfullofleeches on Tumblr!

Because I'm a paranoid little shy person and decided that this was the best way to cope and be able to share stuff from them without consequences that probably don't really exist but they do to my brain!

I may post a few things of my own but this is mostly to shower support and compliments their way!

Incase anyone wants to know more then here we go!

I'm an 18 year old adult who really enjoys and adores yanderes of all/many kinds and really into horror too. I don't mind the more romantic side of things when it comes to yanderes as technically they are (most the time) living too!

I also love the yandere x reader type things. Which is two reasons I really like and still love heartfullofleeches stuff and one reason I really felt like making the blog.

The other reason being paranoia with possible other things with it that makes me unable to feel uncomfortable sharing certain things with others without separate areas for them. Also this does help with my shyness too as it helps me to channel all the stuff into one.

Normally I don't make a pinned post/introductions especially not within such little time of creating a blog so this was a bothard to find out what to say.

I may post art here, however it would probably end up being heartfullofleeches OCs because that's something I've wanted to do but resources I got make it hard.

I may also post a few of my own yandere OCs here but I also might just post those under a different blog called @hiddeninsideaninsanemind which handles most my writing.

Oh and uhm if you want I can also send you to my main blog but it's more of a for everyone blog not just 18+ like this one. That main blog would be @blueshykitsune-blog and from there you can find a list of other blogs I have if you're interested in that...

I'm forcing myself a bit into making myself link those accounts but I said I would to myself so I did and I only did that because I never know... this is oddly enough not the first time I've had paranoia and such other issues with creators and stuff I liked which is why I have a pretty big list of blogs as of now. This is just another one added.

Oh and please don't just think I am making this blog only for myself! Because I really want to show support and add my own thoughts to posts made by heartfullofleeches. However whenever I like things it will only pop up my main blog, same for asks. So I may not give asks off anon but I might tag the blog so I still get the notification that says the asks sent and such. Or I may not.

My mind likes to disagree with itself at times so if you ever see like 50 different reblogs of the same thing with like 50 different inputs that might be why.

I hope I covered everything. Oh uh, when I get time I will change the pfp of the blog, but right now it's a photo of an eye of a weird toy thing that I had on my phone from like 2019 I think that was the year... maybe 2018?
