Currently waiting outside in my besties car while she runs in to get my massive order of mexican food + stops to get dessert from a store next door so I am Already Horny. but to top that off I ran outside to tag along with her while wearing literally Nothing (very small shirt and panties and my house slippers) and it is making me feel like such a lil food whore. Fat boobies and belly hanging out while I jiggled to the car only to sit inside while she goes to grab all my stuff 😭

Túrin Turambar (killed Glaurung and later threw himself on his sword) Unspecified residents of Alqualondë, Doriath, and Sirion Ar-Pharazôn (buried under falling hills in Aman. He was probably not crushed by Taniquetil itself, and is possibly not technically dead, but poetic license.) Ecthelion (in The Fall of Gondolin he's said to have lost the use of both his arms but still managed to kill Gothmog the Balrog by stabbing him with a spike on his helmet and then throwing them both into a fountain)

There’s one tiny detail about the Groundhog Day musical they changed from the movie that I really like, and it’s in the line Rita sings in “If I had my Time Again”. She sings she’d learn piano as one of the things she’d with endless time, and this implies that this, along with the other things she’d do, is part of what sets Phil on his journey of self betterment and humility. In the movie, Rita says that her dream guy would play an instrument - this section is also done in the musical, but the scene above is not done as heavily. The movie sets it up so that Phil is becoming Rita’s ideal guy through genuine effort at improvement, not just trying to cheat through the loop as we’ve seen, and this is sweet and shows he really listened to her.

But what the musical implies with Phil hearing what Rita would do just in general implies Phil aspires to be more like Rita - someone who treats every day with hope and zest for life and genuine compassion. It pushes that message more of Phil stepping out from his own shadow and being a better person, inspired by someone he’s begun to care about and truly appreciate.
