back with the scaramouche posting! these are so long, i'm not sure what happened ahah- i hope you enjoy them! ^_^

note: reader is a harbinger here bc i don’t really see scaramouche dating someone who isn’t; i can make hcs like these with a reader who’s not in the fatui if you’d like!

Scaramouche with a shorter S/O <3

· Scaramouche is short, we all know that, so it’s usually other people who poke fun at him because of his height by calling him ‘fun sized’ or joking about him being ‘too small and young to do this and that’, even though he might as well be one of the oldest members of the Fatui.

· He’s never had the chance to joke like that with someone else until you came along, and that’s when he found out how fun and endearing it is.

· At the start of your relationship he somehow takes pride in being the tallest partner –for once-. Finally he’s the one to help his loved one reach things that are up too high by picking them up, and he’s the one who has to look down when you’re about to share a kiss, while teasing you about your height of course. He never misses a chance to do that, he even calls you ‘short ass’ as a...cutenickname, according to him. He would call you shorty, but it’s way too embarrassing to say that word out loud.

· At first you play along with him, chuckling at his jokes and retorting that he’s also not that tall, you just happen to be shorter than the previously shortest Fatui Harbinger. And you’re sure he doesn’t really mean it in a rude way when he says certain things, but you can’t help but start feeling a little insecure.

· You do feel like you’re not being taken seriously most of the time, and it’s a terrible feeling when you start to wonder if even your own boyfriend is taking you seriously at all. And plus, what kind of Harbinger needs help to reach higher shelves? It’s just embarrassing to be this short when you’re forced to walk by people who are twice your height every day, in those damned hallways.

· So one day you decide to tell Scaramouche about it, in hopes that he at least would stop. And he kind of immediately realizes why what he’s been doing is wrong because of the fact that he actually relates to everything you’re saying; you’re right, he’s not much taller than you and everyone used to tease him a lot about it, even more than now, so he gets how upsetting what you’re going through is.

· But being Scaramouche, he just stays silent and listens to you, claiming that ‘he’ll think about it’ and dismissing you right after, taking notice of the disappointed expression on your face.

· In the following days though, you notice that he hasn’t been teasing you about your height as much...in fact, he hasn’t said anything about it at all! Which leaves you wondering if maybe you were wrong, maybe he does take you seriously after all.

· He notices you’ve stopped asking him for help to reach high places but he offers to pick you up anyways, claiming that it’s no issue for him since he finds you quite easy to lift up and ‘you look kind of cute while grabbing whatever the fuck you need from up there’ –his words make you blush but you hide your face from him before he can notice and find a few thing to tease you about-.

· He does end up teasing you about your height again after some time but you’re okay with it, because he knows not to be too mean about it now. He’s also willing to tell off anyone who willingly or unwillingly offends you, which you think is sweet of him. And he reassures you, in his own way of course, that people do in fact take you seriously; if they didn’t, you wouldn’t be a Harbinger nor his lover.

· With all of that said...he would never show it but he’s so happy to be the big spoon when you cuddle! He likes the feeling of your head against his chest and your arms wrapped around the small of his back when you’re facing him.

· He’d also never admit that it’s cute when you wear his clothes, and sometimes he actually puts them on without washing them on purpose just to enjoy your smell for a while, if you’ve only used them for a short period of time. Whenever you spend the night together he purposefully leaves at least one of his shirts on his bed just so you can hopefully take the hint and wear it for the night...don’t disappoint him :).

Scaramouche x Reader, Romantic hcs <3

· Scaramouche is… how do i put it in a nice way? The least romantic person you’ll probably ever meet; especially when it comes to things like PDA and any remotely romantic gesture in public, really, he’ll either refrain from doing it or he’ll feel and look extremely awkward in the process at least in the early stages of your relationship, which is quite amusing.

· But to actually be in a relationship with him you’d have to earn his absolute trust first, which means he’ll be willing to try and be more affectionate towards you if you want him to, because he cares about you that much to put his pride aside for a moment.

· His love language is quality time; if you’re a harbinger as well, your co-workers will absolutely tease Scaramouche for moving to your office so you can work together, or for asking you to visit his more often so you can get rid of that tedious paper work while simultaneously spending time with each other.

· He’s also big on acts of service; he’d rather do all of your work for you than seeing you slumped on your chair all day compiling reports, or leaving for some boring mission you don’t even feel like going on. He would never admit it, but seeing you happy and well rested puts his heart at peace.

· He’s not big on cuddles either, but he’ll oblige if you’ve had a bad day or he’s feeling worn out from work. Especially if it’s late at night and you’re both tired, he’ll climb into bed and lie there beside you, holding your hand and playing with your fingers until the both of you fall asleep.

· Whenever he’s affectionate with you, you’ll notice his cheeks and ears turning red, and if you mention it he’ll immediately look away or shake his head and walk a few feet ahead of you if you’re somewhere in public. But how could you ignore that if he’s so adorable sometimes?

· His kisses are unsurprisingly rough- they’re not bad, but he could slow down with them, and even though he knows this he’ll make sure to tell you how your kisses could use some work after every make out session. Don’t take him too seriously, what he means to say is just that he’d like to kiss you longer and more often, not because your technique isn’t good enough but because being so close to you makes the butterflies in his stomach go crazy :)

Scaramouche with an S/O with Physical Touch as their love language!

· Scaramouche doesn’t like to be touched: he’s hated physical contact since he can remember, and joining the Fatui certainly didn’t help him appreciate it more. The only kind of hugs he will give are awkward side ones, and sometimes he might even forget hand holding is a thing when you’re dating/friends with someone.

· So it’s surprising even to him when the person he falls in love with turns out to be you: the complete opposite of all of this.

· Hugs, kisses, playing with each other’s hair...you name it! You love all of this and you’re excited to finally be able to do that with your boyfriend Scaramouche, maybe with some privacy since you know he’s not the most open person when it comes to this kind of things.

· But the truth is: it’s embarrassing to him even in private, and a part of him might even feel like he doesn’t really deserve you after declining so many of your affections, or telling you he’s busy when all you really wanted to do was sit on his lap or hold his hand.

· “Are you two actually dating?” is a frequently asked question at the start of your relationship, and most of the time it’s met with a “Yes!” and an attempt at some kind of physical contact from you, while he simply nods or tells the person to piss off if he doesn’t particularly like them.

· But he definitely tries harder as your relationship goes on, which shows that he cares; it’s not like he doesn’t notice how you try your best to make him happy and comfortable by being more quiet while he’s working, or just by respecting his boundaries, so him not doing the same thing for you would make him seem like an even worse boyfriend in the eyes of everyone else –and in his own eyes too-.

· He starts by holding your hand when you’re nervous, and seeing how him doing something so simple helps you feel better makes him regret acting so uptight and prideful for all these years.

· It’s always been hard to refuse all of your hugs and forehead kisses because of the pout on your face afterwards, so when he finally lets you wrap your arms around his figure and he actually wraps his around yours back, you’re overjoyed and his heart feels like it’s going to explode –in the most positive way possible-.

· He might complain if you mess up his hair a little while kissing his forehead, but his cheeks turning red is a dead giveaway that he’s not actually mad at you.

· And he discovers that cuddling with you might just be one of the best things ever, especially if it happens in the morning and you’re desperately trying to convince him to stay in bed.

· It also becomes a habit of his to lean his head on your shoulder when he’s tired or stressed, and finally the question everyone starts to ask you when they see him do this is: “Since when have you two been dating?!”

Maybe Zhongli with a reader that is really really sweet and helpful and just all round sunshine but they are also very wary with money, not in a stingy way, they like paying for their friends but like in the “I will stand here and stare at this one crab for 20 minutes to try to decide if it’s really worth buying” kind of wary?

tell me if you like this format! and also, i hope you enjoy this and that it's more or less what you were hoping for me to write ^^

Zhongli with an s/o who's wary with money, unlike him x)

· Although he’s an Archon, which means he’s been around for millennia and he’s had more than enough time to get accustomed to human traditions and their life styles in general, everyone who knows Zhongli is very well aware of how bad he is with Mora;

· Whether it comes to buying something for himself or for one of his dear friends, Zhongli has no issue with the price he has to pay –literally-. He doesn’t even bother to ask how much things cost, he simply grabs what he wants and hands the Mora to the vendors, who often need to stop him from leaving before they give him back the exchange.

· You, on the other hand, rarely go back home with a bunch of things you’ve bought on a whim; you’d rather get just a few things you really think you’re going to need instead of buy out the entire market because something caught your attention, or you think your friend would just love this random thing you saw.

· For Heaven’s sake, you love your friends and you would do anything for them... except spending all of your money on expensive gifts for them. You’ve always thought the best gifts are the simplest ones, anyways.

· So it’s funny whenever you and Zhongli go shopping together:

‘Hm...’, you think, staring down at the fresh fish laid out on the wooden table in front of you, ���Keqing likes seafood, right? But what about Ganyu...’.

Your dear friends are having dinner over at you and Zhongli’s house tonight, and though you’ve been close to them for quite some time now, you just can’t remember their favourite foods. It’d be a waste of money to get something even one of them can’t enjoy, just because Keqing is a big seafood lover.

Even Zhongli dislikes fish, so what to get? You walk towards the next stand, which sells vegetables, and eye the prices before addressing your boyfriend;

“Zhongli, these peppers are pretty cheap. Should we get-“ you turn around to make sure he’s listening to you, but he’s nowhere in sight. You struggle to walk through the crowd in search of your boyfriend who, curse him really, always manages to get lost every time you go to places like this.

After about five minutes of searching you finally spot him, and much to your dismay he’s standing right in front of the jewellery stand;

“There you are! What are you looking at? Don’t tell me you’re...”

“...it’ll be 20.000 Mora, sir.”

You mentally facepalm as Zhongli nonchalantly reaches for his wallet, you already knowing very well he doesn’t have that much Mora on him right now.

He struggles for a while, realizing it himself, and noticing your presence beside him he turns to you;

“Darling, you said you wanted to get Ganyu and Keqing a gift since we haven’t seen each other in a while, right? I thought of doing it myself.”

You glance at the silver bracelets the salesman’s nervously holding, then look back at Zhongli, who looks rather calm for someone who’s just about to ask their lover to lend them an enormous amount of Mora.

“I did, but that’s too much! And no offense but...” you whispered, “...these are just boring bracelets, they have so many already. Couldn’t we think of something better?”

“You do have a point...my apologies for being so careless, I’m lucky I have you by my side.”

You roll your eyes and blush, apologizing to the salesman for wasting his time and dragging Zhongli away from the stand. As you’re walking you notice he’s carrying a bag;

“So, I see you got something already?”

“Yes,” you can basically hear him smiling even though you’re focusing on your surroundings now, “Keqing is almost like a daughter to me, she is Ganyu’s girlfriend after all. So naturally I do remember what she enjoys and what she doesn’t and, even though I’m not particularly fond of seafood...”

You stop on your tracks.

“Zhongli. Don’t tell me you’ve-“

He opens the bag, revealing shrimps, crabs, winkles...and the list goes on, of course.

You make a note to yourself to apologize to Keqing after dinner, for she’ll probably be the only one to eat all of that.

Hello hello! Today was kind of all over the place for me so these might've came out a little weird, but I hope you still enjoy them! c;

Kazuha & Scaramouche with an s/o who can sing!

Kaedehara Kazuha

· Kazuha would be pleasantly surprised: he is, as we all know already, a bit of an artist himself. He enjoys poetry and even writes his own poems, so he of course would find song lyrics just as fascinating and he’d be mesmerized by your voice.

· He would definitely ask you to sing for him sometimes, and he’d encourage you to do it more often in front of him if you were shy. He’d lead you to a quiet spot, maybe in the shade of a huge tree on a late afternoon, lay his head on your lap and ask you to sing him a little melody; he’d probably fall asleep sooner or later, but that’s just because your voice is so beautiful and relaxing.

· If you were also into songwriting, he would come to you and ask you for an opinion on his poems, and he would gladly help you figure out how to convey your feelings through your lyrics better.

· Your voice would be one of the things he’d miss the most about you if you had to part ways for a period of time; it’d just be so quiet without you around, and without your endearing humming while doing your chores or when you two were on a walk. He would hum your favourite songs instead, trying to replicate your tone.

· If I haven’t made it clear enough already, Kazuha would be your biggest fan, and he’d be happy to support you if you ever decided to do something with your talent, like singing on stage for example. He’d watch you from afar, with a little glint in his eyes and a soft smile on his face.

Scaramouche

· The first time Scaramouche would hear you sing, he’d... most likely tell you to stop. But he’d definitely realize how good you sounded and regret it right after. He’d roll his eyes the next time you’d be in the same room together and tell you to sing if you really wanted to.

· He hates background noise while working but your singing would be an exception: he’d carefully listen to you from his office, if the walls were thin enough, and stop doing whatever he was doing to simply enjoy your voice for a second.

· Something he would never do though is sing with you, and if you ever tried convincing him to do it anyways, he’d definitely get mad at you and claim he’d never do anything that silly, or it would somehow ruin his image –which would make you roll your eyes-.

· Seriously though, he’d secretly be such a sucker for your voice. He’d go as far as pretending to be asleep every time you were humming a song, just to listen to you for as long as he could. In the morning after waking up, while you’d stroke his hair thinking that he’s still asleep or you’d open up the window, get dressed and brush your hair. Your gentle humming would make him want to grab your wrist and drag you back to bed with him, so you could hold each other for justfive more minutes.

· If anyone dared to call you annoying because of this little hobby of yours, he wouldn’t hesitate to tell them to shut up and mind their own business. Nobody gets to be mean to his s/o, especially about something they’re passionate about (and that he enjoys this much as well)!

Scaramouche x s/o with a bad relationship with their mom

!! warning: possible spoilers for Scara's backstory in the last bit, if you haven't gotten to that point in the game yet ;')

· He’s rightfully be upset about your mom treating you that way: only he is allowed to be mean to you and even then he’s not really serious about it, he calls you names because he thinks cute pet names are dumb and whenever he thinks you’re doing something wrong he might complain, but he’ll help you do your tasks correctly and smile at you when you get them done on your own the next time.

· Actually, he might even try to be nicer to you himself after hearing what you have to go through every time you’re around your mom. He jokingly insults you less and picks something else to call you, maybe not a pet name but he starts calling you by a shortened version of your name. He lets you hug him for all the time you want after helping you with whatever you need.

· Every time you vent or rant to him, he listens to it all, no matter if you’ve already told him something similar recently or if you come to him when he’s busy, he’s willing to make time for you. He however tries to distract you after a while because he knows constantly thinking about this might make you feel even worse; he might even try to ‘lighten up’ the mood by joking about finding her himself and teaching her a lesson so that she’ll never bother you again.

· As you could’ve probably guessed, he’s not the best at reassuring you it’s not your fault through words, which is why he simply listens to you most of the time and tries to cheer you up in his own way.

· Scaramouche doesn’t share his past with just anyone who asks him about it, but he’ll gladly do it with you, just to make you see that you’re not alone. He gets that what happened to him isn’t exactly the same thing, it happened ages ago and the Raiden Shogun isn’t the same Archon who did not care about him in the slightest; there’s a chance she would appreciate him now, somehow. But just like you, he’s never really known that parental love everyone keeps talking about, so he really wants you to know that he’s there for you and that he thinks you’re amazing, it doesn’t really matter what your mom says.
